and then at Seymour Johnson we ran into him while he was hanging out with the TBs, but he denied or at least didn’t answer questions about any future involvement with them

this was a few weeks before it was announced

even aside from being the best (imo) raptor demo pilot, he’s just an all around great person

150-600 can be soft on APSC, 100-400 is generally recommended instead. I've shot airshows on 70-300 and it's been fine, you just may end up cropping in a little bit. Unless airshows are something like a once in a lifetime thing for you, I'd just shoot it with what you have and then go from there
