but rating images then give you more time to work on photos you like
also what software do you edit with though
Create your own actions for all the work you typically do for your images. I'm not talking about "filter" actions and overlays. I'm talking about listing the 5 things you do for every shot and simplifying that work into push-button steps.
Remember that every time you edit you are losing information in that image, so if you are going to do heavy editing you're going to want a big enough image and limit your editing to a handful of steps.
I got a Windows computer now, and it is a good choice for me because I can play games and it's a bit familiar for me to use. I got 6 months of Dropbox with me which is like 500GB so I'll extend that. So I take my SD card out and then import the images immediately.
I'm sorry to throw another question in the mix, but I think it might be useful to know.
You say you are losing information everytime you edit. I thought photoshop and Lightroom were advertised as being "Nondestructive". Shouldn't you be able to keep the information when you edit with those?
I need a way to increase my photo workflow, plz help
The best way to help is to know what your current workflow is 😛
What are you slow at rn?
Shoot JPEGs?
The problem is that my Mac can't read the file system so I directly import the photos in the Photos app
What camera are you using?
X100V
And your Mac can't just read the SD card?
So the transfer speed is OK
Yes, I connect via USB-C to C but I don't have a card reader
My card is a V90 class card
Strange. I don't have a Mac so I have no idea how to assist there
got it for free but didn't use it's speed
There is some option to go through but ok, I have a Windows system back home
