Then these people are forced into dormitory style housing - ever see 10 cars parked outside a three bedroom house? - they're being exploited, and suddenly low income families are having the median rent price set by slum lord investors, who don't live anywhere near them
And even worse, the two bedroom worker's Cottage in disrepair that was once the escape of the working family is suddenly an "exciting investment opportunity"

The government has EXPLICITLY and OUTRIGHT stated they intend to keep house prices rising
And considering our current house price situation is caused by over demand, and under supply - there's only one way to keep property prices "steadily rising"
We had 300,000 long term migrants arrive last year - more than a full percent of the population
They're being sold a lie and forced to become an indentured slave class

age is obviously the big confounder but i think if two people are sharing one car and both are above like the age of 25, car insurance can actually get cheaper and i think its because car insurance companies have figured that two adults sharing one car are less likely to get into accidents because they both have like that car dependency and therefore will be safer on the roads generally speaking

That is true. Very true. All abused by p platers or tradies. My new one has almost 500k kms on original everything. Getting a new engine once it hits 500k and then ill dash swap it to around 200k

Yep, that’s the goal for my one, but obviously very out of budget for now

I can turn mine into a 4 wheel drive but I’d need to do some chassis modifications but I don’t know how to weld… yet

Mine currently has 8cm lift in the rear and 6.5cm lift in the front

Tracks 30mm wider than a standard Falcon so it has flares and different wheels to fit, to accommodate for body roll

I ca get approx another 2-3cm lift in the front by flipping my upper control arm mounts… but then I’d need to have longer shocks. But n70 hilux shocks fit almost perfectly, just need to cut a bolt very slightly

Cold yes, windy... it varies, there is definitely a chance of higher wind compared to what you'd typically see up in the tropics

Particularly with the seasons transitioning

No idea exact time you're going, middle of next week looks to be very active for wind, definitely advisable to take multiple layers

During the day floats between 15-20c usually nice crisp and sunny so there’s a good chance you can overheat.

When the sun disappears though it’s under 10c mostly worse if there’s a windchill/rained.

Basically it’s warm enough that I wear a teeshirt and thin sweater during the day
