And for a few reasons I don’t want my parents involved in my medical life

And “duty of care” Dr will surely tell my parents

They can’t know

you are older then me, meaning through the law if you wish, the doctor is not allowed to tell your parents
you can sue type of thing

Dr isn’t allowed to unless I say so. But that is disregarded if Dr sees me as sick enough that I need supervision or support

most doctors will have an agreement that they cannot talk about what happens in the checkup, unless its life threatning (you're highly sucidial that type of thing)

And what do I tell my parents when I’m out at appointments? I don’t even want them to know I’m seeing a Dr

i want to be better and im on the path

i found doing things that made me happy, talking to my ex, playing games, taking photos helped more then actually talking to a therapist
especially cause it kept my brain pre-occupied in the time that i have spare, meaning its not wandering as much

i find listening to music helps with that alot too
