Random little timelapse related, That Tuesday night I was trying to image sprites from those storms that started in Vic that hit you. Unfortunately no sprites, timelapse was more to show starlink satelittes to the south, but can see the lightning across 17 minutes

Storm was ~300km away give or take at that point, but was the same band that started in Vic

Good or bad news depending on how I look at it is the cape today seems to be lower than models predicted, and a somewhat strong cap, so perhaps it won't be as bad

But we don't take many measurements of it in Aus, only get a measurement from the airport purely for aviation purposes in the morning

It's not too bad towards the Melbourne CBD, mostly as I said earlier, the bigger storms were up mid to Northern areas of Vic, been tracking on radar for a couple of hours being the weather nerd I am, definitely some solid supercells today, unusual

And a few attempts at dropping tornados, just can't really confirm unless people post photos
