does it really look good? My first experience 😄
I mean
I like it
the tiny difference in sky color puts me off a little and the overall coolness but that's just a personal thing, I'm a duotone/two temperatures kinda person
but the images are very nice very sharp quite well done, composition could be improved with a bit of a perspective shifting and stuff
3rd pic would look great with a better crop, better perspective (fix some tilted buildings and straight lines) better color. I think it would look great with a more vivid difference in the monotone and the luminance and the red of the flag and flowers popping out at you. the top left leaf is a little distracting
I think a crop around here would be great, ofc get it to some ratio somewhere (this is freehand)
lots of geometry going on, if you can get it worked out I think it would look really good
yes, this building is an old building. The color is similar to brown but it is a very pale brown. So I turned off the saturation completely. My goal was to make the flag stand out and that's what I did but as you said there is a lot of geometry which seems a bit odd. If I had pulled from the right side of the building, I could have improved the geometry, but I would have lost the flag.
you can definitely get the geometry to work together nicely with some perspective shifting tools
I think if you play with a monochrome mask and decrease the overall luminance and color of the building it could contrast nicely with the flag
right now its monochrome but I can definitely tell that it's still a pale brown
human eyes are weird
maybe balance the RGB values so instead of a reddish gray it's more a gray gray
yes it still looked brown on the building, now I've reduced the brown even more
I shouldn't have taken the leaves of the tree on the right 🤦♂️
I think it adds something
allow me to slide into this conversation :b
you want feedback or just to show your pictures?
I'm always open to feedback, so lemme hear all of it :b
Those were all taken in Hamburg, Germany
some of these pictures definitely feel weird to me
this picture seems fine but I feel it lacks a sense of scale
the people at the bottom could invoke a sense of scale but they just seem to add noise to the image
the foreground midground and background seperation is clear but doesn't feel clear
everything feels very non-euclidean
its like an abstract city landscape
it definitely is an abstract city landscape with buildings from all eras, you have that old tower, then those not old, but also not young buildings next to it and then you have that super modern building in the back
