just for reference, this is the garand (left) vs M14 (right)

M14 wasn't used until after WW2, it saw action in Korea and Vietnam though (as did the Garand in some numbers, less so in Vietnam though)

the M14 was developed from the Garand too, so it understandable there'd be some confusion

but overall, it's a great piece! aside from my autistic OCD about guns, it's a cool design! The fact you got me, a noted hater of the space marine design, to like a space marine design, is quite impressive! 😉
