engineseers are quite unlikely to be the mechamicus unit we may get as they are focused on fixing and maintaing vehicles, tech adept or skitarii is what we may more likely get

Enginseers are literally the "default" admech position, they can have/be basically anything. Skitarii is just way more limiting and lame as a choice.

typically it's enginseers that are most often found working alongside other branches of the imperium so that'd be my guess, if we ever get an admech character

People mention skitarii a lot though tech adapt makes most sense since they're the most broad a mechanicus member can be low rank and are employed by inquisitirs as agents often. I mention skitarii as they're sorta mechanics goons and have been mentioned ingame by hadron

the mechanicus is more complex than millions of engineseers though they are common due to the need of their expertise they are certainly not the default, they're not for the purpose of sending down guns blazing in the missions like darktide does, if we had a tank maybe it'd make sense but we dont have direct control over one

My point of annoyance is you see engineseers are the gerenal kind but thats literally what tech adepts are

Kayex actually does go down to Tertium here and there as per the ship voxlines, Enginseers were also the "default" station of most techpriests in 40k and like one of the only few miniature representations of them for that reason for a long time before we got more varieties later in the future.

who knows though they may just add tech priests and have each side of the tree be focused on a different discipline

First, I love this. Second, as an artist, how do you find you niche or style in cartoon/characters/animation? I love to draw and learned several different styles but can't really find my own. I always end up leaning heavily into realism unless it is a silly doodle.

Keep everything you draw and look at it all occasionally to find recurring motifs etc. that you can build upon. Mix and match stylistic choices you like the best from other artists. Focus on subjects that really interest you so you're more likely to let your personal expression come to the front.

Honestly, ive just been drawing, looking at cool art and take parts of it i like and intergrate it into my work, be it shading style, drawing technique or etc, as for cartoonish style.....

Im a self taught artist and grew up around cartoon network and these "stylized" works so it did affect how i draw (and because i struggle with realism )

But dont focus too hard on trying to find a style, it will come naturally as you look into more art and dissect parts that catches your eye and try to learn from it

Because ar the end of the day, art style is just a combination of all of your interest and likes

I like mechanicus (very apparent) and i like how they can be serious and unserious at the same time

So i draw them doing silly stuff while keeping in details

And the detailing were studied from many other artists i look up to

And im often on the look out for things in media or other pieces of work, and think if i can draw something differently than i do now which prompts you to grow as a whole

But i digress, im just yapping atp

No, I really appreciate that. I have been drawing on and off for many years and I know my charcoal style but I have always wanted to do cartoon like stuff but struggle with taking out the realism. There are some styles I really adore and I always hesitate to pull strongly from them because I don't want to just mimic people, if that makes sense.
