Her name is Skuld, she's a female Seer. She lost her eye when she had her psychic awakening, and the burns on her arms are from when she first attempted pyromancy (she accidentally lit herself on fire, just a bit). that's about all i have :v

i don't really know enough Warhammer lore to make anything comprehensive, any backstory i think up is kind of just a thought unless i like it enough to actually incorporate it into the character

Fair enough, Its a good exercise in writing though. If you ever get bored id recommend reading up on the bare basics of 40k lore and the planet your characters come from.

Tbh same, I just learned a bit about what I put in my character's backstory in the game (For example, what the black ships are) and it's not much but it can help a lot to flesh out their lore!

i've had to change up some backstory here and there because i've heard character interactions that go against what I thought up. Originally she got sent to the Scholastica Psykana and lost her eye during soul-binding (and subsequently started hearing the voice of her beloved), but I heard an interaction where the Seer outright stated she wasn't soul-bound so then i was just like "well shit what do i do now"

You can always deviate a little if you want. My psyker personally shares few of the traits and background of the Seer. Get a little funky with it

oh yeah i always like to take advantage of wiggle room in a story, but it's less of a 'follow the rules' thing and more of a 'it bothers me personally to go against this pre-established info' thing

GW filters everything through a "is it canon tho" filter, down to the most menial things you'd want to add into a game, so arguably it's good to try and stick to the pre-established info
you get the full 40k experience that way

Would like to implement some kind of plasma lamp lighting for the psyker lightbox I plan on doing next but I can't find any of the lamps that aren't globes. Well, I choose this way, I think people who always pay attention and wanted have a not bad chance to get picked (I don’t know how that rolling works), and also everyone can see who come first, who can later (well, it has four spots, and I definitely will do more later on, so just have fun!)
