@boreal lagoon, I've seen this days that you are giving your work for free. Inspired by one of my illustrations you took the idea and now there's a list of people asking you for "character drawings". If I may, let me give you an advice from someone who work as a professional and had some bad experiences in this sector:

Do not give your art for free. You are not doing a good favor to your work, neither to people who make this for a living.

No one is gonna stop if you want to work for free for the entire Darktide server, in fact people is going to bury you in petitions, but even if you perceive it as something altruistic and cool, some people take advantage of these things knowing that someone else would charge them for the same work, which is how it should be. Giving away your work detracts from the value of the art and feed the idea that our work is not worthy of being paid.

It's hard enough to get commisions professionally. Value your work more, man, and don't contribute to devaluing the work of others.

You have talent. A lot. Don't waste it giving it for free. I'm telling you this with the best of the intentions.

Just like that, even if fliyingpancake tells Airlea he/she does not want to pay for an illustration, you took away the oportunity of work from another artist.
Is a big problem and I hope you can see why.

Yep, they are called "Canids". They are actually a praised species due to their "inherit knowledge of human supremacy to a point of willful submission". Service Canids are given an officer's rank as striking an officer is grounds for sunmarary execution among other punishments. Also since they are an officer, if you hear one give you a direct order you are required to follow it to the letter, however you must submit yourself for psyche evaluation for hearing a canid speak to you. Tallow is a thing, usually made from 'animal fat' but it's known for being very low quality. (Smells bad, burns dimly)

Theres planetary systems dedicated to candle production with other subordinate systems providing food, tallow, wicks, and one whole planet whose sole industry is making those little metal squares that are stuck to the bottom. Generally though most to cut costs the candles the Imperium uses can also be made from corpse-fat as well which is a lot more widely used since the Imperium's industrial awfulness does not really allow for bees anywhere to work properly lol

Well it’s less same career different characters and more same character different careers. Kruber’s frontliner, team support focus was basically folded into veteran when the class overhaul happened.

It’s also has to do with the transfer between settings. Thematically veteran is more similar to kruber as both basically being the stock standard soldier guy. But what constitutes the basic soldier is very different between fantasy and 40k.

I also use some of Marc Brunet's brushes (basically just the cube one) and then some of the ink brushes from Eldar Zakirov - great for drawing when you don't want it to be too "clean".

Was playing the game today when the dynamic mixing kicked in
middle of the fight, entire team scattered, no clue what was going on besides carnage
next thing I know monster music kicks in and the Ogryn is being mauled by a chaos spawn - and the transition was so smooth I wanted to recreate it
went the extra mile with it

built entirely with audio from the game + chaos spawn sounds from v2

then I thought about Transit Horde and it sparked an idea to make a custom intro for the track
long buildup leading up to an ambush, it's like the same track but from the perspective of the heretics
clock ticking was inspired by the Tzeentch music from Chaos Wastes
(done entirely by ear, may not be following bpm appropriately)

People love Jedi/Marine slop at the forefront when a great majority of fans would prefer smaller scale things, theres a reason everyone praised Andor when it came out.
