Only tabletop stuff I have ever owned was stuff I got for free when I was a kid. My brother and some of his friends were playing Warhammer Fantasy (this was like back in 2001-2), and when they stopped playing, I got it. So my interest in this universe is from those times.

my cousin showed me some stuff but my small brain was too dead to understand so i had to wait a few more years untill i gained sentience once more and was like ''hmmm i remember him showing me some funny egyptian looking metal skeletons'' so i started digging on my own

and now what, it gonna be around 6 years (somewhere in the middle of may to be more specific) since im into warhammer

but i was able to buy myself books only just around less than a year ago because i finished school and could earn some money
also got my first minis in march this year

before that i played only games on pc, watched my cousin play tabletop when i was able to and generally gathered info on my own or from him

Like I said, I got interest in the Warhammer universe back then (which was also when I was 10 years old), it was the Fantasy universe first. Armies I got was Vampire Counts, Lizardmen, and Orks.

And later on, I found out about 40K, which was more interesting for me, and I've been stuck with it since then (12 years old).

Cause I was interested in seeing the comparison, in how well the books got translated from English to another language, but also that I'm a nerd so.

i hate lotr with a passion mostly because i was forced to read hobbit back in primary school and watch lotr itself (movies instead of reading because yeah we were young and books were boring to most)
i think that being forced to read about fantasy made me dislike it
and avoiding scifi in school at any cost made me going the opposite way - loving it so much and consuming it non stop
but i do like lizardmen in warhammer, i like most lizard related things so that's the only exception

I mean, if that's the case, I can understand that. Which is sad, cause it's a good universe, if you get into the more gritty and gory parts. But everyone got their own taste. If you want to, try to read about Melkor/Morgoth. TLDR about him though, he's the bad guy Sauron was a underling for.

fanatics - annoying, stupid, suicidal but very effective and you can't say that they aren't usefull, overall not really liked
veterans - liked by the higher ups but not really by the others (not to count that Naira who's a specialist and Alexander who's a fanatic are a couple) and they mostly keep others from dying
psyker - hates everyone even if she's being told that she's okay and good with doing her job, but respects rannick and all the rules with the highest priority
