Stuff like Warhammer Horror/Crime are usually where it only follows ONE protagonist without constantly switching.
The downside is they sometimes tend to be on the shorter side or dont relaly cover wide universal events, always "low" priority happenings.

Cain either fights Nids, Necrons, or Cultists and repeats that for over 13 books.
It's best to read maybe one or two at a time. At least that's my opinion.

I recommend checking out the anthology book to see if you vibe with it.
The short stories are super entertaining.
