Each game brought map changes and expansions as well, which doesnt matter when the map is a bunch of dots and lines because its a sci-fi galaxy and not one set locale. If they need space they just...make it

It would make quite a lot of sense to have game one center around a certain area (Either a full sector or the area around Ultramar), and then release another game that join the old map to a new sector...

The fantasy map is very specific of "this faction is here, this one is here" meanwhile 40k is "Its in space" it DOESNT matter

I mean its not like the battles take place in space, there is a field campaign map that still has to be designed, its just not connected on one planet, you still have to point and click and move your armies around on terrain
