basic concept is that they share a gene-seed with vulkan (hence the forge) are master smiths (like vulkan kek) but they are so extremly isolated (ghosts) in their homeworld ferrum (which is an extermly cold mining plannet with several inner lava caves and why the white) with only around 700 marines active at this moment, they hate the fact that they are isolated as they wish to be with their fathering chapter more so they take the "kindness" salamanders are known for as one of their rules and why they are so focused on smithing
