Wanted to reply to this before but couldn't cause of silly internet connection, but since I don't play the tabletop and lack any knowledge of how it works, my idea for how they act in battle (at least for lore perspective) is extremely versatile/adaptable warfare tactics
On the ground? Fearsome warriors. They have specialized units and gear for almost any type of situation
Air combat? They have some decent pilots and vehicles but its not their main focus
Void combat? Not their thing so they avoid it most of the time, only engaging when have guaranteed chances of winning

So I had the idea of making a fanfic about Chaos God PoVs basically. Them ranting about their philosophies and such.
