Blue eyes?
oh by exoplanets i thought u meant illuminate homeworls or sum mb
idk, kinda grey
im already playing agains the new stuff
i know what you meant
LOL
Mind if a white boy nicknamed white dragon speak a little mandarin
Not my video, all credits due to the original creator.
You can find the original video on Bilibili here : https://b23.tv/uiZTHIF
In multiple past lives for the past 200 years I have been a White sailor that dies in Hong Kong EVERY. TIME.
that sounds bizarre
how so lol
I thought he had the cwc shirt on and a sonichu medallion
He aint found out Robert E. Lee is White yet
Was
feels like dixie shouldn't be coming out of that instrument
oh man peacemaker is such a shithead
By dixie huanán will rise again
i couldn't find this song anywhere else so i uploaded this version with a japanese girl dancing to the song, sorry for the horrible quality
that's rancid
Fun little fact is it was Lincolns favorite song
He had a band play it after the Gettysburg Address iirc
the only version of that song i like starts "away down south in the land of traitors"
something something last bastion of resistance in China something something
I'd ask why southern China is like that but I already know why
So many fucking mountains
you got somethin against mountains?
One of the best tunes he ever heard...
huh?
no, but its why Southern China was often seen as a bastion of resistance against Imperial rule/rebellious/somewhere to have a last stand
lol
oh man if i let lincoln listen to breakcore his head woulda just done that
Honestly yeah prolly
Wonder how many people have died scrabbling over the south china mountains
Chinese history skirmish: 7 quintillion dead, two hemispheres rendered unlivable (Han strategic victory)
They're very scenic
the strategic victory?
i haven't seen the south china mountains actually what are they like
China has a very nice natural beauty rivalled only by the United States in terms of diversity
Random song dynasty battle against the mongols 100k drowned gg no re
Shoutout to that one battle with 200k buried alive
"Every time I draw a dove of peace it looks like a ghost!"
🥀
oh it's the ones from all the art
Many hands light work
you bury about 500, then you say fuck it, make sure the rest never show up anywhere by some other means, and put it in the record that you buried 200k people alive
or you take like 20 people alive, grouse about how shit your numbers were for a while, then tell your historian to gussy it up a bit
China really did just have a huge population tbf
In 1700 they were a third of the world
Just get 200k people to bury 200k people easy
What if in the process I start to like the guy
yeah but i reckon we can apply occam's razor here
Emperor said no
這首歌來自60年代呂文成及樂隊錄製的舞曲唱片,歌名為《丁香山》。
This recording comes from the 1960s, and it was done by a Chinese musician Lu Wencheng and his band. The song was titled "Clove Mountain."
It sounds like I;m racist for listening to it
Sounds like some mouse squeaking on occasion it's weird

Written for my friend LiLi she is from Xiamen in south east China.
The instruments name Liuqin (pronounced Leo Chin) originates from the fact that it is made of willow wood and also shaped like a willow leaf. It is also known as the Chinese Mandolin, and a larger similar instrument called the Pipa is known ...
This chud refuses to leave my recommend as well
Pls dont dox me
Remove this from the world
okay what are the numbers of dead iron fist in the iron cage
A lot
0 because those arent a thing. But the Imperial Fists dont have a set number of losses, but we know they split into at least 6 chapters after
this homebrewing shit aint easy i only have 5k characters into my document and I already feel tired
I'm pretty sure there aren't any official numbers but also GW is incredibly bad at coming up with numbers overall
james gunn really likes an extremely pathetic man huh
that's
why would you deny it like that
He really likes manfailures
do you want people to think you were made in a petri dish?
Chris is a pathetic man in general
its what makes his journey great
Vigilante is my favorite femboy 😔
He's a twink not a femboy but I agree
i was about to say
Same thing but yea
Chris meanwhile is a himbo
they are a true dynamic duo
✋ 🔇
Femboy means a male individual (which most of the time has feminine features) who enjoy using female clothes
A twink is just a guy with feminine features
Didnt ask, quiet down pipsqueak.
Dilara doesn't know the difference between femboy and twink but knows the entirety of the lore from 40k and Helldivers
Incredible
🪤
ok i kinda like vigilante
he's like cunty napoleon dynamite
my friend described him as "Jeffrey Dahmer but he murders awful people"
lmao
he legit looks like a serial killer in the best way possible

looks?
Not really?
Thats just how the actor looks, he just has glasses
Dahmer himself is just some fucking pasty white guy with short hair lol
"awful people"
admits to kill someone for doing graffiti

six seven!!!!
Well was it good graffiti
dumbass
Fulgrim is a Primarch so by default he's a twunk at LEAST
those netflix "documentaries" just aura farming literal serial killers
Shut up loser
femboys can identify as any gender fyi
it's not male specific
i know some trans femboys
yeah i forgot to mention it
Hypothetically speaking
If we got a genestealer cult as an enemy faction, what would their poxer/fodder unit be
normal humans armed with clubs prolly
or no proper fodder
like beastmen
who didn't have a skaven slave equivelent
I love how expressive this actor is
they only had a clan rat equivelent
Really sells senile asshole well
ngl
I'm not sure if there's any like
difference between the chaff
they kinda all die the same in Darktide
The bruisers are the only noteworthy different chaff in my eyes
I can't tell the difference between the three different types of scab shooter chaff and three different types of dreg shooter chaff
he was actually a mobster before being an actor
The hell you mean what console
ps5
All consoles
Do you mean brand or specific console variant
PS5 is lacking any stuff, Switch 2 is just there and not receiving anything yet, Xbox series is already dead
AI is killing all.
ps6 will come out before the next xbox
Feels like the console wars are stuck in the past tbh
pc has literally everything you need. the downside is if you want to play anything aaa youll need to break the bank.
It is everything you need unless you are broke
dammit fucking shit
And the AI bubble is to burst
i heard id liek bounty tbh
it's 3 am and the episode ends on a hell of a cliffhanger
invincible?
the world hates it when cinless sleeps
no, peacemaker
sleep is death
wait there's a new peacemaker season
dilara got her claws in me
There's season 2
yeahhh..... its just different games. and having games that aren't accessible across multiple platforms is how you die fast.
i'm watching season 1 but yeah
There won't be another season sadge
mid show tbh
the show is just millennial writing as fuck
also the music taste is genuinely trash which i know is intentional but i fucking hate the theme song of season 2 so much
What do they say marvel quips or some shit
lets see, how old is james gunn
it's not that level but it's just unfunny to me most of the time
i'm fucking 30 years older than i thought i was i guess
you are
damn, sucks to learn i'm in my 60s, i was just getting the hang of being 30
feel ashamed
watch peacemaker
all he's making is violence
0/10
the show just has a weird vibe that i can't place at all
it's just not funny to me at all
Should have called it lovemaker and have him violently make out with people too stop crime
and it has that modern superhero tv show cinematography that makes you want to vomit
i heard someone call buffy fucking millennial writing
Is it constantly miserable 24/7 or just really unserious
most millennials were toddlers when that show came out, what the hell
to me millenial writing is stuff made for millenials not necessarily by millenials
it's a mix of serious and funny at times. there's some funny characters and it tries to continue the vibes of suicide squad movie
this shit's made for everyone presently alive
if you've seen the movie it feels like it
i mean, not kids i guess
but i find the movie way better ofc
Would a game like sunset overdrive be considered millennial writing
That games my darling but it was written by insomniac
it upsets me to have my whole generation blamed for shit like marvel
so when millennials are writing shit what's it gonna be called then
i mean, we ARE writing shit now in fact
what do you call that
it's just that it's been the trend for like 15 years at this point so fucking everybody is tired of it
I do find it funny when they refer it as such
Focus m
when i write, which is a thing i do for fun, who the fuck is writing it if boomers are making the millennial writing?
you shouldn't let yourself be easily tilted by a generation wide term
It’d prolly be gone by the time of the next trend anyway
Next thing to gawk at and get annoyed by
i'm upset because the blame's getting shifted away from boomers
blaming any generation for something is dumb
That’s almost anything nowadays
"society these of days is bad because of the millennials" is the shit boomers say when they ruin the economy again and get upset young people aren't buying diamonds
not that we're all that young anymore
zoomers are already shitting on gen alpha
Having an enemy and contrived narrative is more engaging than any type of nuance
it's been a trend since literally pre history
ancient greeks bitched about the young generation
it's still a fucking dumb thing to do
ofc it's dumb
you see any ancient greeks around? no, cause they're all fuckin dead, because they were DUMB
Greeks are hella glazed nowadays
i will say the reason i use the term millennial writing is because you knew exactly what i meant by saying it
Same with Vikings
Focus F
i knew it because i'd heard it from some of the worst people on the planet
it could be called anything tbh
because i intentionally seek those people out for fun
it's just a very specific and annoying kind of writing
so it's distressing to see someone i don't think is one of the worst people on the planet using the specific language of those people
anyways if the show was trying to get me to slowly like euro rock then it has only accomplished the opposite
i hate that genre more than anything now
oh yeah i'm getting sick of the music fast
the intro's fun because it's so fucking dumb and i just tune out the music
if you're like me you will hate season 2's intro music
but damn every time they play that halfassed rock an action scene or whatever
it's so bad
and the worst part is how catchy it is
it will stay in your head for months
Tbf iPad kids are everything that Gen Z's parents thought they were but actually aren't
It's probably not as bleak as a lot say but still
genuinely what is peacemaker's music genre
i can't even get a straight answer on google
i refuse to just call it glam rock
it's so clearly small indie band european rock music
wtf there's a pumped up kicks cover in the soundtrack
and ofc it sounds like generic rock trash
i think home sweet home is the only song in the series i actually enjoyed
and thats because it's by motley crue lol
not some dogshit european band
man if they had the money to license motley crue why didn't they get kickstart my heart for an action scene ffs
Imperium when they see a slightly different human (their god is literally a mutant)
is there any marine chapter that focuses on stealth?
Raptors
and pretty much Raven Guard overall
ohhhh right those guys
raven guard and most of its other foundings
though most large loyalist chapters have a bunch of stealth dudes
yeah like
Sneaky Marines
all of 10th company of most loyalist chapers are filled with phobos armor marines
and those can be used for stealth
Yeah i clicked on it by accident instead of the lexi but its lore
it's not even the same info
I have a bunch of these homophobic dog images
I need a collection of them
What happened to space marine field police?
Consul Opsequiari no longer exist after the legions being broke up
Neither do the Ofanim
Nowadays Chaplains are responsible for marine discipline
became chaplains if you're referring to the 1e version
For the 30k one the role got roled up with chaps
It's worth noting that apparently they had authority to also police any allies working with them along with their Legion
Actually worse than a commissar good lord

Imagine getting reprimanded by the fucking 7-8 foot tall super soldier
If they even do reprimands
is this really what imperial citizens believe
Also apparently the Legions with the most opsequiari were the Space Wolves and the World Eaters.
Considering how the World Eaters are. I wouldn't be surprised if their inter-legionary policing was just beating them until they stop.
Well from wherever planet she is.
The Imperium has a wide variety of beliefs
Including what the Emperor is
A sun god, a woman, a woman sun god
A god of battle
Etc.
But yeah generally the Horus Heresy is summarized (in the Imperium) as
"9 good dudes against 9 dudes from the warp"
They leave out the traitor part
Hell sometimes they even get who was traitor and who was loyal wrong
so assuming the legend of Saint Messalina are true, i think its say to assume the daemon she fought in the wastes was a daemon of nurgle
Pandorax had one of the Imperial Navy Lord Admirals mistake Lorgar as a loyalist
Horus is also used as a stand in for the devil/hell for swears funnily enough
TLDR; It depends™
I mean apparently it did leave the deserts barren
Her teachings generally included a lot of burning stuff
It probably was a Nurgle Daemon
After all, even deserts still have plenty of life to infect
Also apparently she really didn't like the attention. She rejected every hymn made for her. She attempted to dissuade any form of worship or idolatry. In fact she hated being idolized.
So of course after she died, she got many more hymns, shrines, and cathedrals.
If she truly did exist, then she would be spinning at her grave.

You assume WE have the impulse control to stop themselves from doing a violence?

I mean stop doesn't necessarily mean that the individual stops themselves
They could be rendered incapable

Also the Internal Police (I'm not calling them the opsequiari all the time) would probably also have nails
So... uhhb
Idk how exactly it would've even worked
Beyond just beating any offender
With keeping them alive being optimal but not necessary
Yeah and due to them having the authority to police allies
...

hey hi i got a question about lore
"Police Brutality? You're assuming there's anything left to brutalize."
What is it?
Police brutality? Why would we police that?
much as i know, black templars doesnt have a psyker, is it true?
They hate Psykers yes
I also just realized that they're probably a reference to the 1E Space Marines and how they were uh
"Very nice cops"
Though I can’t remember if that was always the case
will they make acceptance for me...
BT are on the COMPLETE OTHER END of the term “Tolerance”
dang.
There are no battle Psykers and/or Librarians in the Black Templars.
The only ones that exist are Astropaths and Navigators
And even then they're only kept around because otherwise, they wouldn't be able to fucking function
Psykers in the eyes of the BT are “tools we’d rather get rid of but we can’t”
The last blood spilled on the infinite crusade
🗣️ 🔥
Is SM3 already in development not just announced?
To be precise, they do actually venerate Navigators and Astropaths.
With Astropaths in particular being regarded as holy disciples that have communicated with the Emperor.
And Navigators being similarly honored due to them using the light of the Emperor as a compass
So basically...
It's like being the girlfriend of a white supremacist

"I HATE ALL PSYKERS (except you) AND I HOPE THEY ALL (except you) DIE!"
imperial planet that accidentally worships angron perturabo fulgrim lorgar mortarion horus magnus and curze
Season 2 changes the tone from the first tone with being more personal, character development and less action and humourous in which I loved the most about towards the final episodes
Are the color schemes for the chapters in sm2 the current lore accurate versions?
No that's called common sense, the problem is you, you unironically believe that the norm for a weapon that can literally explode should be to fucking overcharge it often, you need to listen to yourself
I'm talking about in tabletop turns
also there isn't a fucking safe mode option
Because they don't wanna die
Yeah i onow
Know
Mf, im talking about lore
Why would I be talking about the tabletop
well people overcharge in lore due to despiration, same with not letting off the trigger
lol
Depend, do you mean the ones that the people do with random colours pairing ? No
overheats happen due to user error under pressure
YEAH KEYWORD DESPERATION
WHEN THEY NEED TO
Depends
Also its standard procedure to overcharge against some targets
I.E superheavies
I think you're taking me fucking around and joking a bit too seriously
@arctic talon Tbf, there can be safety modes on Plasmaguns, it's just that most Imperial Plasmaguns don't have them
I do not think we have a single example of a safe mode on an Imperial plasma gun
Tau plasma is always locked to safe along with LoV ones
Some of the old DAoT ones I guess
The Hurd overcharge their shit
I wasn't actually saying that
those ones just don't overheat
Hurd are a "live fast, live good"
And I respect that
the big one
thats a hrud gun
tbh its honestly surprising the Imperium doesn't have it as standard procedure to just always overcharge
considering how cheap human life is
The munitorum could just lie lol
Since heat dumps don't damage the gun
Plasmaguns are more expensive I guess
Well
Plasma guns overloading is a heat dump
normally
containment failure is incredibly rare
heat dumps also tend to not kill someone
just cause horrific burns
Wait it only overheats not epxlode?
Yes
thats what a heat dump is
plasma guns vent all the hot gas and vapor at once
to prevent a containment failure
this results in horrific burns on the user
but the gun doesn't explode
containment failure is extremely rare aside from a few notable in universe weapons
Then yeah I believe the weapon is underated
Doesn't TT have exploding Plasma
Containment failure occurs with the Plasma culverin and the Primaris plasma incinerator
nah hazardous isn't an explosion, its just a horrific heat dump
Well
hazardous on plasma isn't an explosion
the old rule was called "gets hot"
but the primaris plasma incinerator and the plasma culverin tend to fail horrifically
much to the detriment of the user lol
Thematically it is still a death by an explosion caused by overheating the weapon
Tbf wound = death depends lol
Well then yeah idk what elite was talking about saying you're a coward for not wanting to overcharge it often,
it's death on infantry models (besides characters)
I mean I was referring to people treating their tabletop units
not just a wound
Depends
Nah statistically you should almost always overcharge lol
Why?
S7 is a bad breakpoint for what you're firing plasma into often
which is MEQ and other elite infantry
Whats s7
strength 7
Whats meq
Marine equivelent
sorry slang 💀
but S7 vs S8 is the differencing between wounding on a 3 or a 2
Whats rhe equivalent of a marine in thsi case
Marine equivelents are Heavy armor aspect warriors, Some nid bioforms, tau stealth suits
Though MEQ is a bit more awkard now since statlines aren't as standard now
I forgor, it was changed in 10th, it's 3 mortal wounds. Earlier editions it was straight up dead dead. But basically still certain death
no it wasn't
gets hot was a single wound in older editions
and you could save it
9th and 8th it was "removed from play"
thats 7th
older editions also used it
but yeah 9th and 8th had the most punishing version
but lore wise plasma doesn't horrifically explode most of the time when overheating
it just dumps burning hot gas and steam on you
this is 9th and pretty sure 8th as well
which is really bad and you'll prolly need surgery lol
it is yes
So bums and fodder
Is what I'm hearing
lol
a step above bums and fodder
No i was joking
Zombies
poxwalkers are GEQ adjacent but they get no save yea
they get a feel no pain but its shit lol
ngl do you guys think a poxwalkers skin texture would be like raw meat
or like rotting flesh
Dude my team just got absolutely grimdarked on a vecna ass looking darktide boss rn, this mf rushed me then strangled me in the air liek he was anakin skywalker

yeah the daemonhost is a witch equivelent 💀
as in the L4D2 Witch
except the daemon host is way harder to fucking kill and way more dangerous
LOL
Just drop the weapon and step back
Tbh yeah that’s the best option
But sometimes you don’t get a chance
Observe 💀
That poor tallaran
So you have bums that are basically just homeless dudes with knives, marine corps type soldiers, then a standard special forces type of soldier, then a ultra heavy unit badass type of soldier (space marine)
Is he ? I remember Witch being way more of a danger than DH ever were (though caused in part from us having more tools available than in L4D)
That would require the Administratrum having sent them to your regiment
Tbh that would help against the superheated water vapor
Not sure about the gas though
Which they might have not
Witch can be magdumped with a spass but other than that she is pretty hard to handle if she gets close
Witch is easier to remove but she must be removed sometimes
daemonhost can be kited pretty well
Dameonhost is just an obstacle
I swear there's probably a really easy answer for making the plasma.gun safer to use that the verse didn't consider
but the constant corruption aura is a problem for sure
@arctic talon
Considering marines need amputation after overheats sometimes I doubt it 💀
But maybe
As in space marines
there's a reason why almost every plasma pistol wielding model has a prosthetic arm
Power armor no like superheated gas dump
It’s genuinely the funniest bit GW has ever done
Yes, cause that's part of the reason for it, many things in the Imperium could be fixed with common sense, but if they were, the setting wouldn't be the same
Poxwalkers? The skinny ass zombies that have axes are the equivalent to guardsmen?
Adjacent
Same toughness rating
Way shittier save and weapons
Those things are literally just zombies
They don't even sprint
How are they adjacent to guardsmen
Damn really?
Yeah really
cue the astartes plasma blowout
Durability
The EQ classifications only care about durability
Because it’s what matters for mental bracketing
There’s an increasing number of NEQs lol
Nob equivalents
it's used for "how many MEQ models can I kill with this attack"
But I don’t think that term will ever catch up
But yeah poxwalkers are not nearly as dangerous as a guardsmen ever
But there’s a lot of them and they can catch bullets
Wow it's no wonder the US military lost in the walking dead when zombies are equivalent to frontline infantry
lol
Poxwalkers are scarier then walking dead zombies
They can “sing”
Which is a vector of infection
Unique to the walking pox
Anyone who hears their song and is not sufficiently strong enough mentally will be infected with the walking pox
Most of the nurglite zombie plagues in 40k has some extra fun ways of spreading beyond just person gets disease
Like the plague of unbelief which infects anyone who holds doubt in their convictions after witnessing the effects of it
The Torment actively influences the people infected to spread it further
Speaking of nurgle
Our darktide characters gotta have pretty strong immune systems to even exist next to a infected individual, like how does anyone fight nurgle without just getting sick
ludonarrative dissonance
Ok so i was using the plasma gun and I see why people would have it overheat now, my nerves were high, I had no reserve ammo yet, and a shit ton of pox walkers were running to us so I kept charging it and shooting hoping the shots to 100 wouldn't count then well, it blew up
Entirely serious guardsmen are expendable nobodies and if they don't want to overheat their little guns they're cowards
Signed, upper hiver noble
also, notably, veterans themselves prefer the overheating guns
like a fuckin gamer whining about skill expression
"it's not as good if i cant accidentally kill myself!"
Whats the bell of lost souls?
My body.. for super ea- I mean the god emporer!!!
You mean veterans of the guard?
yeah
I think the best solution to this is to have a side arm thats essentially a lasgun uzi
veteran isn't a rank exactly afaik, but veterans are usually given responsibility for special weapons
like plasma guns
It’s two thinks
Firstly, a really shit clickbait website who’s owners are banned from many social pages for stealing peoples work and using them in their headcanon is lore articles without permission
Secondly - it’s a huge church like bell on Terra which tolls when heroes or martyrs of the imperium die
I checked this message while in a elevator then got stuffed to the brim from 8 machine guns and died
That might not make a toll tbh
on the subject of sidearms i do wish you could have one in darktide
Explain the drama behind the first one
I was just about to get off of darktide but then the game decided to give me doom slayer's super shotgun
A ORANGE one
Literally my reaction ANYTIME discord does a UI update:
Oh that’s pretty much in
They started just making stuff up and posting it as rumours years ago, clickbait before clickbait really took off
And then they’d join groups and take peoples pictures, use them to advertise the posts and post them in the articles without crediting anyone.
They’re the guys who really pushed ‘gw gone woke and killed Slaanesh’ in AoS, until someone went through and pointed out Slaanesh was mentioned more times than any other god (except maybe Khorne?)
Why did they mention slaneesh so much
Wwwwwoooookkkeee!!!
Hello lore chat
oh come onnn not more multiverse shit
Mostly to say ‘Slaanesh is missing!’
Whats that even suppse to mean
When Fantasy ended Slaanesh ate all the souls of the Elves, so in AoS when they wanted to bring the Elves back they had to trap her in a machine and suck all the souls out. Slaanesh is technically still trapped in said machine, but the seals are weakened and Daemons are leaking out.
Chuds interpreted that as GW trying to remove Slaanesh from the settings to make them PG
While I am wary of GW trying to sterilize their setting for more mainstream appeal, this event was not an example of that.
If you took slaneesh out the setting it still be 15+
What does Chud even mean? I know what people it's talking about, but I have no idea what the word means.
Dumb Chad's I believe
Which in turn are those "manly mans" who are the most important, alpha's?
Cannibalistic humanoid underground dweller is the original meaning
Chud is a generalized term of disparagement used somewhat synonymously with fool, troll, and jerk, to suggest that someone (usually a man) is rude/boorish/regressive/unintelligent/etc. In online political discourse, chud is often used specifically as a left-wing insult for someone (again, usually a man) on the far right.
Its a reddit term
People in stories that are forced or chose to live underground and overtime devolve into savage monsters that consume others without care, just to fulfil their own sustenance.
Morlocks from the Time Machine, Falmer from Skyrim, Crawlers from The Descent
Etc etc
I remember when brainrot was Oxford's word of the year
Last year's was Ragebait
crazy that elemental council goes from a mid book to a pretty interesting one halfway through
I wonder what's this year gonna be
Has gooning been one already?
Anyways
I got a question about necrons
What material are their bodies made of? And what exactly is that green energy that powers them?
Necrodermis
Made of Living Metal which is actually made up of millions of tiny nanomachines
Dunno what the green energy is
Probably Mountain Dew
Most of their green stuff is Gauss stuff
scenarium + plot armor + revivium alloy
Egyptian Senator Armstrong species
the real answer ? everyone is made of plastic in warhammer
except old super manly guys made of metal
The energy is just their internal energy i guess, iirc it doesnt have to be green, the mephrit dynasts have orange and some other one has blue
green energy necrons with standard grey and black are the ultramarines of necrons
necrons used to be white with gold and blue
and sometimes red energy
until they got their definitive look
I remember the silver crons
depends on the photo but they used to be really light metal
I knew necrons before they got rusted out (4-5 edition)
super classic
these were really shit to assemble tho
rifle was way too heavy for arms so it always ended up falling while the glue stiffens
Oh lmao like abby's old arms
yeah
also old necrons were exclusively ball joints, with obviously balls too small to fit the hole
Amazing design lol

So apparently my name got brought up at the supervisor meeting yesterday. Apparently the Manager complimented me in front of all the supervisors. Looks like that raise in 3 months will be mine
Nanomachines, son
Congratulation 👏
That's cool, so their energy could look like any color purely dependent of their dysnasty?
Apparently it has adjustible frequencies yeah
But im no expert on the crons
Heh, crons almost sounds like a slur
Are there any slurs for them inside the imperium? I know they call orks green skins (which i dont think is a slur for them), tau they call them something related to fish? Eldar are the pointy-ears
Rust buckets
The Szarekhan color scheme
Just abomination will do
Also the orks call them tinheads or sum lmao
Always them with the funstuff
Tinheads is nice
tinhead or tinface
I gotta try and learn ork dialect man, its so fucking funny
iirc gorgutz would call the pariah tinface in dark crusade
Its js british hooligan/chav slang lmao
Funny brit talk
skinhead slang
I know this yet I'm never able to write like them
Guess I'm not built to talk like an ork

We ain't brits twin😔
Actually that might be a good thing
boss Kurbstompa finna smash sum humies to deff
My teeth are perfect and I can see the sun so I'm not as grumpy
Dis ell sho em umie gitz hooz da boss
waaagh !!
You don't have to train in the way of shiv to survive
Insert Wolfenstein stab minigame scene
Spiky Boiz, Umies, Tinheads, Genesneakers, Beakies… am I missing any other Ork terms
What do they call Votann?
Shortstacks

Squats is a in canon derogatory term for them
stunties
You can also call them "funsized"
whitz grotz
What about Eldar?
pointies, scrawnies
European
Damn, that’s too far
arent orks more accurate depictions of europeans tho
I hold a big hatred for them
Orks are accurate UK rep
Brits are their own thing
Savage monsters
With jagged teeth
And inhuman language
Ghosts apparently, because of their tech
Is warhammer and warhammer 40 k the same universe
No, only connected through the warp

Q : Grombrindal – I have a question for you. There are four Chaos Gods in the Mortal Realms – Nurgle, Khorne, Tzeentch and Slaanesh. But wasn’t Slaanesh created by the aeldari in Warhammer 40,000? How does that work? Any words of wisdom?
A : Eugh, a Chaos question! I really must sort out my contract so I don’t have to answer them. Anywho… the Realm of Chaos is a mystical place that spans all of existence, stretching across dimensions and time – sometimes it’s called the Realm of Chaos, sometimes the warp, Empyrean, Immaterium, Formless Wastes, Land of Lost Souls or simply the Abyss – it’s all pretty much the same thing. In the Warhammer 40,000 universe it’s said that Slaanesh was created by the aeldari. After his (or her) creation, Slaanesh was then free to journey across the Realm of Chaos, where he (or she) crafted a realm of pleasure and excess in which to dwell. From this point on, Slaanesh could send his (or her) minions – be they mortal or daemonic – across the Realm of Chaos, either into realspace, to the world-thatwas or now the Mortal Realms (and countless other places). Seeing as how similar the aelves are to the aeldari, it’s no wonder that Slaanesh took such an interest in them!`
Essentially
Ye, each universe have their own warps, but the Chaos domains invade it from somewhere else
It's just cool that Chaos and the Warp just completely fucks up time as a concept
Sure Slaneesh was birthed by the eldars in 40k at a specific date and time, but the Warp isn't limited by the concept of time at all and therefore, after Slaneesh was birthed she began to exist past, present and future and across anything else
Ye so the pre Slaanesh Eldar had temples for worshipping Slaanesh before she was born
So sort of like IT/Pennywise?
idk how that tracks with slaanesh eating all eldar souls
nah time has to be at least somewhat linear in the warp, otherwise the other eldar gods would still be around
That's possibly not accurate anymore, as we know that while the Domai existed prior to the coalescence, the "God" don't necessarily (See the Emperor being heralded as a future Chaos God)
them being eaten wouldn't stop them from showing up post-fall if time was non-linear
They got eaten in the warp
The warp is non linear to us, so when Slaanesh was born in the warp, she suddenly existed throughout all time in the material, but the Eldar gods were consumed in the warp
The Warp is incomprehensible, time and physics has no real meaning there
It just acts
That would be accurate if it happened in real space but it didn't since they were eaten in the warp and so their existence is removed completely
It would be the equivalent of killing God in Heaven
So whats the closest thing to punisher in 40 k
american comic book hero, he has no clean parallel in 40k
but like, punisher's just a vigilante with a poorly defined theme beyond his iconography
The warp term is only a 40K thing, in every other setting it’s just the realm of chaos
it's kinda mechanically the same in 40k and old world
although in old world you can walk or sail to the realm of chaos by just going north for long enough
idr if there's a southern polar portal, i think so but i don't wanna say for certain
Yea
and the planet in old world is much better protected than basically any planet in 40k
it might not seem like it, but think about it: two fucking open portal to chaos just hanging out and the territory in between them is relatively liveable
thanks high elves, i guess
the winds of magic from the old world are notably absent from 40k though, which imo is to 40k's detriment
because the winds are fucking cool
i'm completely unbiased
The warp is a neutral afterlife super hell that is the origin of all magic, which is separate from the realms of chaos within it
AHAHAAHAHAHAH
YESSSSSS
i no longer have beef with AoS but i still think sigmarines look kinda lame
well idk, did they ever drop the golden armour aesthetic?
Don’t, paint them gold?
The gold ones are hammers of sigmar
i don't touch the tabletop that shit's for nerds
Yes Raptors
There are 2 type of Raptors in 40k
The mutations that happened to the Raven Guard
And the chapter
Lmao
The chapter is full of sneaky, sabotage and infiltration based
(Well maybe 3 if you consider the Chaos Raptors)
idk i think i maybe just don't like it when armour looks heroic, ends up looking too cartoony
check this out though: long coat over breastplate with a full helmet
give me that gunpowder fantasy shit, put it in my veins
Cities…. Of sigmar,
yeah darktides art rules
Well yes cause it's the same thing in fantasy and AoS
Each setting in theory would have their own name, like 40k use Immaterium, Warp, and a couple of others
40k is cursed with a futile attempt to dial down the fantasy theme
ohh, sorry i thought you were saying that every warhamemr setting has its own literal warp
Its the warp just named differently, basically
yeah 40k uses esoteric terms to sound marginally less fantasy
The mangaka of apothecary diaries got arrested, luckily it was for tax evasion
the properiteis of the warp are unique only to 40k, space psychic hell
I can respect that
Based
ok the thing about the warp in 40k is that people mostly interact with it in space, where there (usually) is no ground on the other side of the veil
but there are planets in the warp
they're largely awful
People can physically land on chaos gods realms in 40k
So the warp is just more filled with actual voids rather than land compared to fantasy
i reckon people just don't have the means to travel much in fantasy
so obviously they can't get off the ground so to speak with exploring the far reaches of the realms
beholden to whatever terrain's imposed on them, with some rare exceptions
largely i really like warhammer fantasy but it does kinda bother me that the world's only like six thousand years old in setting
Not really a fan of fantasy cause me not likey medieval themes all that much
They have some stuff I like tho
I'm very fond of the lizardfolk
it's not quite medieval, more napoleonic i think
It's pretty mixed all together
Lizardfolk and the Skaven
honestly my two favorite factions from there that I give a fuck about
that's fair, and some things relate more to fiction than real life history, but the empire specifically is like
Honestly warhammer fantasy orcs are my least favorite warhammer orc
idk maybe napoleonic is too late, but late medieval maybe? not what people usually think about when they say medieval anyway, capitalism is revving up, industrial revolution is on the horizon, revolution in general is on the horizon, there are still formations of pikemen and heavy cavalry charging around but you've got nuln churning out muskets and artillery
age of sigmar and 40K just have much more interesting ones
It's just a mix of stuff, not very specifically medieval or napoleonic
But I'm just not that much of a fan
I honestly prefer the sci-fi themes 40k has + the only "fantasy" setting I ever enjoyed is DnD
Bg3
that's forgotten realms, D&D has lots of settings
FR is good though, ed greenwood's a steadfast ally
FR has had trans characters since before hating us got popular
How many settings are there in total
i don't fuckin know, shitloads
like off the top of my head: greyhawk, forgotten realms, dark sun, spelljammer, points of light
uuuuh
fuckin
planescape
over 20 after a quick search it seems
"but cinless some of those are the same setting"
they didn't start out that way, they got merged because D&D wanted to do some cosmology shit
Today is a sad day for all of Cinema btw
I know just also not a big fan of how they do the other settings, much more into the medieval fantasy vibe forgotten realms has
The legend known as Chuck Norris passed away
norris passed away and he's going to hell to beat the devil
wow what a cool dude
All of the memes about his being a badass like ten years ago were fraudulent as hell
Thank you for making me glad he is dead
yeah, nasty dude, glad he's gone
Didnt know he was an asshole, unfortunate
Bros burning in hell lmao
Happens to the best of us (to the former comment I mean, not the latter lmao)
Yummy human flesh
give me guts to make necklaces and skin to make scarves
john rimworld android
Bro intestines arnt good for necklaces
My favorite...
I'll seat on a chair made of their bones
Funger.... my beloved...
I'll hail my people with a wand made of skull
Use tendons my guy if you break up the fibers and weave them you get better thread
finished funger 2 in, idk, january? that game's sick
And I'll light candles made of their fat
i was completely spoiled on funger 1 so i haven't bothered finishing it, but funger 2 i went into mostly blind
such a good game
I wonder what kind of psychological torment my players have planned for me tonight
Painting and LOTR stuff.
WarCom sure is keeping things quiet in the run up…
Is dunger good or is it cheap horror
It's good as fuck but considerably heavy for most people
M-muh problematic media!!!
I've had some people tell me it's actually good but I ask every time it comes up because the first interaction in the game I had with the first enemy you meet was a big brute with a giant peenar whose first words were literally "R...r4pe..."
To me it was more just that like
That kinda design is cheap horror
Erm, automod evading. Kill him forever
the thematics are very brutal but its a good game, just very hardcore on the contents and gameplay difficulty (took forever for me to get past the introduction)
I like that we can say semeb but not the other word. We gotta be professionals here
I've seen a couple things that seem to suggest that there are very unreactable and predictable major losses completely out of your control even with general game knowledge and decision-making, are those one-off instances or is that a staple
ive got a question for lore nerds
can renegade space marine join a renegade legion ?
say for instance a blood raven becomes a renegade
Its because some times it's complete RNG because it has a coin flip mechanic
You literally can just die for being unlucky on a coin flip lmfao
can he theorically join world eaters ? (it's purely for example)
Oh I mean other than coin flips LOL
Yes he can
Like I saw one thing where an enemy just grabs a party member through a hole in the wall and there's no way to react to it
Other than that idk, theres the average JRPG game combat so you can die for just not being able to hit the enemies or WHERE to hit them
Or one where there's an invisible pitfall trap that kills you instantly
I had an NPC tell my players one of the villagers they met earlier had been killed by a monster, then later they saw the villager who was killed waving at them, he then vanished. They didnt think it was weird and left the village without following it up.
Players man
I once died to a guy because I tried to sleep on a bed, a weirdo kidnapped me and then put me on a stretcher until all my members snapped off from their sockets completely
Any renegade/chaos marine can join other warbands (as long as the warband accepts them/has the custom of accepting others)
Just put the big glowing arrow on the HUD compass element bro 💔
but the question is
can a renegade join a renegade legion even though he was not from this legion in the first place
or does it have to be a warband
Pretty much all the legions arent really a thing anymore. They all went their own ways into the warbands. They just get together for the big ones but even then, they mostly keep to themselves
Well for the legions I am very unsure but I don't doubt they would still use them anyways, so maybe they can join them if they are deemed worthy
That being said, Black Legion is what you want. Its the big tent party, with everyone. Renegades, OGs, Chaos undivided, single God worshippers
basically I have this iron warrior dark mech hybrid warband
I wondered if renegade space marines could theorically join it
Yeah Black Legion is probably the best legion, I use them and Red Corsairs as inspiration for my own homebrew warband because of how versatile they are
You can make anything you want with them since its your warband, but other warbands/renegade joining the likes of Red Corsairs, Black Legion and etc
Its up to you if they accept others to join em
if one day I add legionaries to my current army (which is likely not going to happen before a long time) I kinda want them to be remnants of a renegade chapters joining it
Anyone can join a Warband, but they wont be Irion Warriors. They would be a renegade in the Iron Warrior warband, ya dig?
but it would mean they get their whole armor repainted and the thought of that is funny
They are iron without but not within
the probably only thing my army has from iron warriors is the scheme and warlord tbh lol
That is probably most warbands, since making more gene-seed is impossible and they reuse old fallen brothers and dead loyalist marines to make new ones
They're very mixed
If only Bile's primarch clones were still a thing maybe they could extract fresh gene-seed off of them
But alas those aren't a thing anymore
warpsmith escaped alone from a very tough battle with legions of daemons caused by divine outrage, he ended up on a very radioactive industrial planet, allied with a dark mechanicum cult to take over it and mass produce various daemon engines (once again).
His army is made of various stuff ; daemon engine infantry, dark skitarii and cybernetic mutant renegades/cultists
I have no explanation to why they all have the iron warrior color scheme, maybe dude went "Paintjob is cool let's paint everything with that"
Makes sense he would just force them to use his color scheme
To be perfect they have to be iron within and iron without
Rule out the weak, keep the strongest and make them an Iron Warrior in spirit
couldnt find the specific decals I use fot the logo
https://youtu.be/0KE-TPVJUSU?si=CyTEOC2oYn9bWAkL biggest troll ever
Armageddon, the war world, is the focal setting for Warhammer 40,000's latest animation! And seeing as the Death Korps of Krieg originally started as an alternate colour scheme for the Steel Legion, we thought we'd show you how to paint the colours of the original gas mask wearing Astra Militarum regiment on a Krieg Trooper! Tune in as Ollie sho...
Steel legion is at adepticon
That goes hard as fuck, looks better than my warbands symbol tbh
Still looks cool
Mine was made by a bunch of different pictures I found on pinterest
horus heresy ad mech and IW logos are the best respectively compared to 40k
This was unironically hard to make
do you paint it on minis or do you make special decals ?
I also like the HH IW logo because I use a 2nd ed necron as a chaos android (and it uses crucible of champion rules)
chaos daemon engine branding 100
I don't own any minis for multiple reasons (pricing due to my region, lack of ability to paint and lack of financial condition), I just write lore for them for fun and use an old ass russian app that hasnt been updated since 2019 to make some cool armor designs but its very limited to how I actually imagined
oh ok
This is as close as I got from minis (plus 2 joytoy figures)
well tbf I'm very poor as well and my minis are either second hand, originals from back when they weren't overpriced or recasts
my army is very unimpressive
I have thought of buying them third party but the price range is almost the same as the official GW prices so fuck me
Plus taxes for international shipping
I know a very good legit recast site with free shipping and half the official price
plus minis that are now impossible to get officially
If you could share it with me (on dms obviously), id appreciate it
Now freehand it on 1000 space marine models
If I had the money for it I would, trust me
after 5 models you get used to it
I can paint hazard stripes very mechanically now
Very jealous
Holy RIP
im just lazy to do it on every model because the way I do it, it takes 6 paints + a wash
Another thing that would make me stray further from the idea of painting minis is the paint, but I kinda really wanted to start trying to paint
Maybe just assembling them would make me happy
contrary to what I was originally thinking, the bigger stripes are the more difficult it gets
All they gotta do is an upgrade sprue for krieg and steel legion are the same exact thing
Copium until GW announces the new steel legion
unfortunately painting gear doesnt come in knockoff form 😔
paint and stuff represent a significant part of the budget alas
I assume contrasts were more or less thought as a solution to this problem but im not really sure
Yeah id have to just find a local place to buy cause aint no fucking way im buying paint from gw
it takes balls of tungsten, or real stupidity to think GW doesnt love money
it's just that paint in general regardless of the brand is expensive
Every corpo does thats why theyre successful
cheap paint is well... cheap paint
True...
it's like very cheap unregulated food
the packaging may look good but the result is questionnable
@heady rivet
❓
I was looking to get into the tabletop and I've always liked this group in the tau called the Gue'vesa (human helpers in tau language), tldr they are just humans who defected to the tau, and I noticed that there's no official thing for them, is that common for something that exist in lore to not exist in the tabletop?
Was just about to come here to say "good riddance"
Yeah its pretty common to have lore thats not on tabletop. Especially with Tau auxiliary species. Kroot and Vespids get all the auxilia love
They aren't really a faction.
They're as much a faction as the Administratum. Actually scratch that, even those have some minis floating around
Why not?
Oh ok
They're intermingled in the other factions
And neither does the Qdministratum get minis or rules that are "stand alone", they're segwayed into other groups
They exist more as separate units than a combined group. And fall under the auxiliary umbrella
On the one hand needed, on the other hand feels like witnessing murder lol
So like, they exist in the "oh these are the other species that decided to join us" areas of the tau military?
The thing with Guevesa, is that they're not really that interesting to explore miniature wise, hell iirc they were meant to be kitbash before (Taking Firewarrior/Pathfinder and putting human heads and legs
Yeah, not enough flavor for a guavsa only run
Plus the Fire Caste is sort of the military class and non-Tau arent allowed to just retroactively join a caste. Its sort of like a colonial military. They arent gonna be trusted to have any real influence or power
Yeah that's fair, but i still wanna play those forces because I like the Gue'vesa, so what exactly should I be looking for?
ngl I'd just proxy guard or tau armies
Tau auxiliary boxes?
and kitbash your gue'vesa
Thanks
There is no official mini for Gue'vesa
Only Kroot and Vespids are represented on tabletop
Think someone said before that the Krieg legs worked quite well for Guevesa kitbash, but it's a bit of an expensive plan
Whats kitbash
Chop up exissting plastic minis and put together stuff
Its a time honored tradition
Lots of online guides on how to convert human Tau, but (rules wise) you need to run them as Tau Fire Warriors.
…
Unless you pull an Uno Reverse Card, go full Guard list, but say they serve the Greater Good
Kitbash = conversions using existing bits from different kits.
IE heads from one mini on another or something
