I basically imagine the Shadow of the Warp basically consumes your soul

Like if you die while a planet is psychically covered with the shadow

Your soul gets absorbed within the hive mind

So even suicide isn't an escape

But also I think that is also an idea that's explored

And those are generally the more friendly Hiveminds

The ones that aren't conquerers basically
