I do want an AoS tide game
i didnt say age of sigmar was bad
because it'll get more people into AoS like it did fantasy
but i have 0 clue what the story is other than the world being reborn
its basically WHF but people die and explode even more
i know there are stormcast eternal
AoS is like a slightly more magical and noble bright version of WHF
Well
its "noblebright" on the surface
its really fucking awful for the most part lmao
Then why do you seem against TW AoS
im not
Yeah its not that much more noble bright, but its slightly more so than your average Warhammer franchise
It is more Noblebright than 40k, but so was WFB
but i was saying that a age of sigmar tide game would sooner be developed than an age of sigmar total war
I just dont think there's enough units for each faction to make Total War AOS
tbh WHF and AOS have always been like that
because theres actual good guys
and uhhh no nazi faction
so no fascists
fucking lucky bastards
lmao
since age of sigmar doesnt have that grand scale like fantasy
I mean, it does?
it really does
where did you get that from
Hell even bigger scale than fantasy 💀
^
it could also be me having 0 knowledge on it
It has multiple realities involved IIRC based on the realms of magic from WHF
Over 7 realms.....
only way between them is through realmgates which are like huge strategically important spots
Whole massive armies protect each one
8 great realms, an interweb, and many smaller realms
Yeah its like a constant gamble lol
I wasnt huge on the realm-hopping shit at first but once i read up on it its really cool
They should have turned the Gnarlwood into a realm gate, but they decided to kill their best setting instead
Arx Terminus my beloved
Haven't read up on it, but it really sounds MtG, which makes me go "Ehhh not a fan"
WOuld be real cool if TW AoS had the 8 realm as separate but visible, and the Realm gates accessing different spot of a separate map that enable you to cross from one to another
Havent read up on it
Forms opinion
I KNOW I KNOW
GETOU-
Knowing doesn't make it better
Thats why I lead up with tha--AHHHHHHH
It make it worse
Also, while I do think that VT3, if it is to happen should be in AoS
I do not want it
VT2 having a third game could be a bit much, but it would be kinda cool to watch
Or play
I dunno why I said watch
I do think if we get an AoS tide game it should be with premade characters
since it fits way better with fantasy and aos than 40k
Death or Destruction being the tide factions in AoS
100%
It'll prob be skaven and choas again
Ogortide....
since beastmen are uber fucked in AoS if they were gonna add a destruction faction ogres would be it
gnoblar hordes with ogre specials/elites
Skaven have already gotten 2 games, why not see other tide factions
Inb4 vampire counts
I don't think we'll fight undead imo
Hedge. I Call on you
but maybe that's just me hoping we get an undead character
a bonereaper or something
Being chaos in an AoS VT would be cool
Instead of veteran or psyker you have Khorne or Tzeentch
a stormcast character that is a redeemed chaos champion
The only way I would see a tide game where you play as a Chaos warrior would be against Lizardmen
Skills are different mutations
But they’re the enemy of everyone
Including chaos
But they don't act as Tide compared to Chaos warriors
Is unc cooking?
Skinks could be the tide
Skink as the horde, Saurus as the bigger target + elites
Saurian dark elf realm of man unit and someone else?
but yeah if we ever got a tide game with a playable stormcast I would want this as it
it would be interesting and show one of the cooler things about stormcasts and AoS
Do it Warcry style
Steelhelms and Fusiliers as the tide
Stormcast as the boss’
There’s an Iron Golems story where they do a trade with Hashut only to find a knight Questor trapped in the cellar after wiping out the whole fort
Skink -> Skaven Slaves
Skink Brave -> Clanrat
Saurus -> Stormvermin
Eternal Guard -> Chaos Warrior
...

lmao there's hate comments about him
I still think vampire counts would work the best as an enemy for a horde game whilst not rethreading nurgle
Or maybe khorne for the horde enemy
Dreadfleet
Vampire Count + Vampire Coast + Undead Skaven + Tomb King + Chaos Dwarf mercenaries
Any orcs would do, could even tie then together
Kruleboyz has the trappers scamper style but toxins poison hits, Iron Jaw bruiser for the mutant or the ogryns
Could even take from L4D2 and use gobbos as the rodeo head stabber guy
Dilara doubting Dreadtide, just lacking imagination on her part 🚬
Hedda Bardinsdottir being playable would be awesome
Which one lmao
We have like 3
Whole army of them, but a couple named
The First Marshal's Executioner is now built as well
Oh?
Is there a stormhost of them?
Seeing it like this I can pretend to understand why ppl like it
I thoguht he was apart of the hollowed knights?
I think he’s painted that way, but the storm cast who follow him where all redeemed
OHHH okay
Yeha it’s like, Roman trench armor I guess?
I got redeemed confused with reclaimed lmao
That’s fun
no just saying for a tide character
Ohhhh
I hate that that the iPhone blurs your background images it look like shit
What in gods name
Huron Freakheart my goat
Damn, I kinda want whatever that IW stuff is gonna be
But if it’s not limited time I shouldn’t rush
But man what a time to join 40K minis lmao new Necron stuff and a limited time box of a batch of destroyers and now this?

You know it's bad when your lizard gf has better teeth than you
How do tech priests find gf's in the forge?
both for me
Lusty Taurelian Maid
90% certain that image is some AI stuff
That imagine is 200% ai

Its always that glistening effect that they got going that gives it away
and now The First Marshal's Seer
The text just above the "FAKE PROFILE" is just chicken scratch, so yeah it is

FAC...
Honestly the best fucking ad they've ever made
And it isn't even a sponsor for a car insurance company
the hardback version of the scouring has these neat little illustrations throughout the book
i thought that was clancy brown for a second
the guy who voices mister crabs
Abominable Intelligence comes to replace the soul... or... steal a lot of water at least.
im legit at the point where i cant even tell if it's AI anymore
it really looks AI but how could AI write the words that clearly and it usually doesn't get faction clothes like the admech clothes right
It has gotten better with letters for a good while now
it still has a very clear style and visible artefacts
Nope
But apparently John Dimaggio AKA VA for Jake the Dog
Voices Atriox
He also has my second favorite joker voice so that's another +1 from me
I don't like how Robust Gorilla Scan made his Ultramarines have significantly more members than other chapters.
GW when they write 897 successor chapters just to write first foundings like they have legion numbers anyway
Kroot activity
Anyone got any art of a kommando snipa boy?
No
Damn
I don't know what I expected when I joined this server, I did not expect The Imperial Inquisition.
No one ever does
Good job I suppose
So, how would I design an Imperial Psyker who fell to the T'au? Considering the T'au are all blanks, how would I draw their staff?
i think we all know deep down that the idea of the second founding was just a retroactive attempt to explain why there's chapters instead of just 18 legions in 40k
don't know why GW bothered to impose number limits on chapters though
Read the farsight books
theres a human psyker in his retinue
Oh fr?
is even daemon possessed
So they can figure out interesting ways to get around the number limit like having a back up chapter for the wounded or simply ignoring the limit ig
I think her name is Vykat?
t'au aren't blanks where did you get that idea
Yeah they just have a very low presence in the warp
its like a night light compared to a standard light bulb
its still got some light, just not much
I'm not typing out "low Warp presence" every time I need to talk about the T'au.
Tbf, wasn't there already the many chapter before the clear Legion stuff ?
Yeah, I'd take a look at those books and how she is
blanks are a specific thing in the setting
and use that as inspo
Alright.
I know this.
as far as i know yeah right? i wasn't around for long but im pretty sure legions came around because of HH
The Tau are less Psychic sensitive, which in theory does make them small/latent blanks, the same way one could consider all Eldars to be small/latent Psyker.
blanks would be anti warp no?
Chapters existed before Legions

Not necessarily
in terms of like
that's what im saying
order GW made them
It's less Warp sensitive, and the deeper blanks are repelling the Warp
chapters came first and GW created the second founding after doing HH lore
i think
(hence why I disagree completely with the notion of Blanks being soulless)
Crimson Fists my beloved
Which one was the cursed founding ?
13th iirc
demons still see t'au easily dont they
Second founding existed already lore wise
Yes
then they aren't blanks
Blanks have levels
Not easily, but yeah they can still see them
Hell
Same as Psykers
Juice em' for ectoplasma.
A water caste gets possessed by touching a salvaged gellar field device
i don't think just being warp dulled makes you a blank
just low juice
being warp dulled doesn't make you a blank correct
it just means your soul isn't as juicy and shiny
you are not a blank because you soul does not actively repel the warp
well whatever what i'm trying to say is that the lore was not done in a chronological way which is why it kinda has some plot holes
26th iirc
There are people that are just slightly more Warp sensitive, those aren't called True Psyker, same apply for blanks
Is 13th dark founding then?
Didn't know there were so many founding
All the chapters of it were just weird
Someone asked what founding cursed founding was
cursed founding is 21st
The 21st Founding was the cursed one
oh also we always compare to humanity as the baseline but humans are actually more warp sensitive than other species which makes humanity the outlier here afaik
One basically became the Legion of the Damned, another just has Bone blades growing out of their limbs
Ok
It's a whole deal
the reason why its cursed is because the mechanicus fucked with their geneseed
There were 26 foundings pre Ultima
to try and like
redo them
and fix shit
or upgrade them
It led to some things you could consider a success
Fire Hawks and Black Dragons
BLACK DRAGONS MENTIONED RAAAAGH! THEY'RE MY FAVORITE CHAPTER RAAAAGH!
and other things you'd consider an absolute failure lmao
funny thing is there's so many chapters with unexplained foundings that it doesnt even matter how many there are
Lame-nters
And also for the Dark Eldar to capture some for a bone plague to be developed
GW can also retroactively add more
I do think its inevitable GW is going to increase chapter size
at some point lol
exactly so the number is meaningless
They already have tbh
UM 11th Company and all
Do you think they'll try to give it a lore reason or just make it retroactive ?
Considering GW already soft rewrote it in 5e
"guilliman said so"
easy lore reason
doesn't effect existing lore
Simple as that I guess
It went from 1000 max to 1000 but oh command don’t count to 1000 plus maybe 200 reserve
Yeah
The Imperium is having a need for larger chapters due to the horrendous losses after the Psychic Awakening
then there's dark angels
And the 1000 marines count doesnt include specialists like Librarians and Techmarines
I want more lore on the Gore golems™
i do like how dark angels is explained to be loopholing their way around the size rules
They're some random fucking chapter GW cooked up
for a Crusade book
and that name is so goddamn funny
Its very uh
gore golems is a fire ass chapter name
Khornate lol
they have a dude who's a deathwatch watchmaster
Hey Elite, you were wrong about the new Skitarii, their base isn't 40mm
28.5mm
wolf is wrong let's kill him
Ye
interesting marshal is on a 32
and they're on 28.5's
bcs Heresy doesn't do different base sizes for officers(normally)
HH?
like some named characters have bigger bases
and most named characters
Hey, how do Corsairs work? Are they just attached to CWE?
Harlies, basically
yeah
Alright, thanks
they work exactly like the FW ones did
which is to say they get shoved into your army
The Custodes got a super heavy tank?
just a plastic refresh
Gotcha, thank you
Ahh.
revealed yesterday
is it not fellblade size
it is
it looked like it
very small guns for how big they are
that's not a predator..
thats a repulsor executioner
When I get into 40K, I either wanna play Adeptus Mechanicus or Adeptus Custodes.
which is around land raider sized lol
I'm talking about tabletop, as I already read the lore and play the games.
oh
ye there's a rhino
ignore the fact someone converted it to be tracked
lil whirlwind
or aknowledge it
based
but its a fat fuck
predator and rhino are same chassis
ye ik im not that dumb
I think them being a lil goofy is cute
it's an armoured personel carrier not a tank
and they got agrav before it was cool
What not overcompensating does to someone 🚬
I like custodes tanks tbh
I think I'll just play Mechanicus. I'm not terribly worried about the cost of units since I'm getting my hands on a 3D printer.
Very retrofuturistic
im happy about fellblade refresh even though it will still be way too expensive for me
more people using it means rules will be adjusted
i need to finish the one i started printing
What are you printing?
fellblade
Hell yeah.
i was printing it when eternal was still here
it was that long ago
who are these guys anyways
I waited for a plastic Glaive for 5 years, got the Fellblade after waiting 2 and after finishing it in a 3 week squeeze they reveal the plastic Glaive
Those wings look baller. Mod them a little and use them for kitbashed Ptexarii.
nerd
jump pack custodes
i was gonna say discount blood angels
Dante doesn't either.
Might look slightly bulky on it
Fair enough, but it's still look cool as hell.
Tbf, did Dante ever have wings ?
He deserves them though.
old FW painters really did stuff less shiny
i think i like the old way
the old FW painters did a really grungy custodes scheme
for the initial resin wave
then they started going shinier
lol
with each subsequent Custodes wave
i like gritty HH
it's supposed to be the grungier setting
which is hilarious
I think having bright colorful things in 40k is fun
and 30k
its kind of part of the charm
Nah, just the more SM Slop-ier setting
And besides, those Custodes wings would look good on a Ptexarii if you make them apart of a battle maniple under the control of a particularly aristocratic Tech-Priest.
ye and more grimslop
just looks like 40k now
tbf
its always looked like 40k
aside from the 1e stuff
like
original 1e stuff
mid to late 1e had similar to 40k coloring
just different technique
When I'm in a complaining competition and my opponent is a 40k fan:
arent they all using the same artists now
I mean there is no FW any longer
since FW barely exists on its own
Have you lot seen the new golden goose of the chuds since TC tried to deny them ?
what happen
or something
Yes
I fucking knew it
It's Knoflkt
goddamit
where it kept going
A WW2 game where it kept going and weird science was introduced
yup that was an easy guess
yeah
British got robots
American and Soviets got super soldiers
Nazis have zombies and mutants
Russia has Ghouls, and Werebears
seems a bit derivative from how you explain it
I'm oversimplifying a bit
i'll need to check
Nazi have Vamps and werewolf
Tbh not really
How long is a turn of 40k in lore? Because I know DnD turns are 6 seconds, how long is a 40k turn?
no
however long it needs to be for the narrative
jokes aside 40k doesn't have that
Aight.
like how Pathfinder/Drawsteel/DnD have 6 second turns
Ahh, okay.
and Cyberpunk Red's turns are 30 seconds each
anyways I like how the US looks in Konflikt
I dont
That's neat I suppose.
40k isn't a role playing game so turn time doesn't really matter i guess
It does have role playing games though
i meant normal tabletop
you matter
I love giving these bastards a flamethrower
none of FFG's TTRPGs give how long a turn is
in universe
I've never played Konflikt
just looked at it lol
Ive played about as much K47 as BA tbh
why must the name be so hard to remember
Italians are fun
Is there any lore reason why the Sisters Of Silence are an all women organization?
they're split between Allied forces and Axis ones
No, likely just due to some tradition that spawned from whatever existed before hand
Didn't Rogue Trader give one for the ship combat ? Or was that from Battle Fleet Gothic
I'm thinking about what robe color I should make my Mechanicus fellas when I start printing.
I love these idiots
So many choices, it's hard to decide!
A nice time worn yellow
That sounds neat.
Like a steampunk aesthetic?
Hell yes
Sounds good to me, but I'm still thinking.
steampunk in admech? daring today are we
Thats the greatest struggle for me I will sit and just think of a scheme before I actually engage

But my best painting comes from just doing it and fuck it we ball energy
Put shit on a model and if it looks cool do it more
gotta experiment yeah
Ah, would still probably be pretty hard to rebrand them as just "Anathama Psykana"
Now now, lets be nice
I'll have to start experimenting when I get printing.
its heavily implied
the sisters of silence were a technobarbarian group
that the Emperor integrated into the imperial household
and mostly culturally genocided
like how he did with the rest of the Imperial household lol
a time honored 40k tradition
Normal genocide is honestly more common
we'll probably get a SOS book eventually
Then cultural genocide
i mean, idk how it could be written
I mean
since none of them talk
Sos mentioned
We have the POV of a few
It’s just their internal thoughts
Watchers of the throne has the main protagonists be a SoS and Custodes
Watchers of the peak
Was it there where the SoS is suggesting abandoning the other people and the Custode change what she is saying to avoid causing despair to the other people ?
would be funny if the predecessor to SOS were the opposite and they talked all the time
Yeah in tithes
Malcador having had enough of the SoS yapping around and telling them to stfu
Funnily enough the SoS ends up talking in watchers
be QUIET
Because she thinks she’s going to die
So she decides that might as well say something rather then signing it
Big e will forgive
huh so they just choose not to talk
Yeah
weird
They don’t have their tongues cut out or stuff
Its just an oath
I don't know if you've all done that before, but if you don't talk for a couple of day, when you'll try to talk again you'll just have difficulties, if it's years...Damn that must have been difficult
what a weird oath though
It does say she sounds odd and weird
When she talks
Anyways she’s great
usually it's a penance or something religious
but they're not religious
isnt valerian the first custodes
No
No
valdor?
No
Even valdor isnt
who is it again
Idk
We don't know who the first was
huh
the special boy
She doesn't hate him.
She doesn’t hate him as a person
it's funny seeing like the most powerful type of units in the imperium acting like fighting cultists will be difficult
But she hates that the Custodes did nothing
They have to aura farm on them
Valerian even hates that they did nothing
Ignore the fact none of their guns can fucking harm them unless they’re using special ammo
What is your favorite kind of weapon from any faction?
Power glaive
just aim for the head stupid
D-cannon
Kid named “from golden light they descend”
They'd fucking dodge the bullet
I like the antimatter weapons from the Necrons and the plasma stuff from the Mechanicus.
Jokes aside custodes and SoS refractor fields
Being a fucking flashbang
Is hilarious
ngl i bet custodes skin can just bounce off bullets
Even then, he’ll probably be alright with a mild headache
built different
Gun emplacements no
rifles are small arms
I’m dumb
The main gun on a Bradley is technically small arms
small arms is compared to like howitzers
Okay correction
Custodes skin and bone can deal with most things fine that aren’t anti material or designed to penetrate armor
TLDR custodes cannot eat 50 cals for breakfast if they’re naked
No
Only eyes of emp are
does custodes armor make them stronger or is it like space marines where the weight kind of negates it
It makes them stronger
Same with SoS power armor
SOS and Custodes power armor is the most advanced power armor in the imperium
No external power pack
Its very good
god i love how cheap space marines look compared to these guys
Fr
Space Marines are budget soldiers
Custodes are priced in entire planets
space marines fans wish space marines were custodes
By what metric?
By the metric that small arms repairman are in charge of clearing and fixing them
Neat
i think GW has fleshed out custodes pretty well
they dont feel like bigger SM's to me
Get Specialist Zach on the horn.
i just don't fw super human soldiers all that much
same that's why i like guard
Custodes don't even feel human tbh
thats because they aren't
it's fun for a while
the Sisters of Silence are very much the human side of the Talons
I mean Astartes have far more fun color pallets than big Custards.
I don't like custodes cause they have no free will last i checked
they basically always have to agree with the Emperor
except he's on the throne
so lol
lmao
admech are like space marines but you actually like the superiority complex
it's funny
They can even think the Emperor is wrong and stupid
but they have to agree with him
Same here.
wonder how emp managed to do that to them
Truly make it seem like they're deamon of the Emperor tbh
likely part of gene alchemy
Genetic loyalty
custodes are like biblical angels i guess. they don't have true free will so they dont have humanity
you must always be loyal and always agree with him, you can question him but can never act against them
ect.
I.E A custodes can think that this is the most idiotic idea ever, and the Emperor is a dumbfuck for coming up with it
Good idea, sah.
but they have to say "yes" to it
In watchers of th throne we get baseline human. Custodes and sos pov.
or go along with it
but nowadays the Emperors on the throne
so this isn't really as much of an issue for them
aside from them going "marines are fucking stupid"
makes you wonder if the emp gave primarchs free will on purpose
probably yes
if he could just remove it from people
Custodes don't even agree with each other most the time
custodes are pretty dumb so it makes sense
custodes arguing about Marines
what a coincidence that i decided to watch rick and morty for the first time ever today
only 13 years late
did you enjoy it lol
i did not expect to but i laughed a bit
only one season in
i do think this show would have been a terrible influence on me as a teen though
genuinely I've never watched it lol
probably
lol
The first like
2 and a half or so seasons are genuinely good
As long as no one is telling you how good it is
yeah i hear season 3 onwards is when it gets meh
i've only ever read the ciaphas cain stuff when it comes to 40k
That being said
and that's because justin roiland let being famous get to his head

About Adult Swim:
Adult Swim is your late-night home for animation and live-action comedy. Enjoy some of your favorite shows, including Robot Chicken, Ventur...
and it's basically only human stuff
The best Rick and mo episode isn't Rick and mo
Tragic. Watchers is genuinely very good
i have seen this one many times and quote it constantly
I've watched this one though lol
i fucking love michael cusak
his shows never get the popularity they deserve
except smiling friends
Agreed
that one doesn't count
i liked YOLO too
australians are just funny
it's so good
Got myself the Ciaphas Cain book and the Fall of Cadia.
I wan' all them books that follow big Robu's journey since wakin' up.
but every1 knows that
i saw it pointed out that the pencil is in his ass
Smiling Friends is the best shit on adult swim rn
and i cant unsee it
Fall of cadia is before he woke up
Well, yeh. I know that much.
Buuut. Felt like a good place to start.
So Jes is to blame
Smiling Friends is alright
I can't believe I watched the whole thing because of a Chris Chan reference though
all the rotoscoping is fucking hilarious
It really is tbh
there's something about it that's so fucking funny
it looks so fucking weird and unnatural in a good way
smiling friends having such a chaotic artstyle is great
Its actually Rotoscoping, pretty much just drawing over a real person doing the movements
makes everything stand out well
ye ik drue langlois uses it a lot
the guy who did shoebody bop
but i know him for plague roach
i feel like smiling friends will be hated in a few years because everybody will copy it
It serves the neodada horseshit going on really well tbh
as the cycle always goes
Smiling Friends is gonna be Seinfield for animated shows for a bit tbh
im just happy zack hadel got a show which he should have gotten for a while
he'll go on to make a lot of good shit
he had a previous attempt at adult swim which failed if anybody remembers
maybe smiling friends was only picked up because michael cusack is involved and he has previous shows
even though none of his shows were ever really popular
anyways back to watching rick and morty
Glep being from hyperborea is fucking hilarious
the deep internet references are great
I always assumed this was just a trace of that one sniper rigle from fallout nv
the anti material rifle?
the normal sniper rifle is in 3 too
oh that one
Yeah
which references a bunch of older designs
like the old plasma rifle
plasma caster in NV
imagine if plasma rifle stayed like this
have i ever mentioned how i pictured plasma guns in 40k to be green before i saw the models because of fallout
i read 40k books before knowing of tabletop
nothing says they cannot be green.
It's really good if you do a VATS build
Well not really, but it's ok
Ecto-plasma weapons are green
greeeeen
Clearly an apothecary
Gunky as hell
Terminator... apothecary
is that a minotaur
yeah
i didnt know FW had minotaur stuff
bro
thats literally fucking where they debuted
oh my god jay im gonna nuke you

I never finished the question properly. Is trazyn so strong that he can just get away with comedically stupid shit like he did at cadia
green plasma is just so good
trazyn is mr plot
Yes.
😭
anyway as i was saying
He can literally just teleport on spot and do other shit because necron tech is just super advanced
Cursed to remain here
he didnt really do anything on cadia other than mess with the stuff that was already present
i think trazyn was a notable fighter on cadia for he did the silliest things possible
By telling Cawl what to do
My friend mentioned how he was the comedic relief of cadia
So that got me thinkin
he is in the book lol
and was like yeah basically
i thought creed got collected before cadia exploded
so whats the deal with trazyn anyways why does he seem chill with humanity
he just doesnt have an active hatred of humans
Creed got collected yes
Honestly I think Halo 2 Anniversary has my favorite "infection"/Flood Infected Spartan design ever
trazyn just likes history no matter which species
He likes collecting shit for museum and is a hoarder
Ohhh HALO TALK
IM HOME
MAMA
I don't know why but this looks fucking sick
i dont think he respects any species he just doesnt care
trazyn is such a breath of fresh air for necron lore
Infection form is sticking out the skull
I guess it's because of the flood mutations basically bursting out of his skull
he has to respect the imperium a little bit to want to help them on cadia
well i guess not
cadia exploding hurt literally everybody
No he doesn’t
He explicitly just wanted to grab stuff
And “play the hero” for the humans
lol
The... Tentacle? Basically mutating out of it's throat. As if it's struggling against the armor that binds it
bro could always do that
he could have helped a lot more if that was his motivation
I just find that fucking cool
Are there any books that talk about the other horrors of the warp besides the chaos gods
I mean that’s his reasoning why he shows up
He wants to collect shit on Cadia
As it’s falling
Like arent there beings that just arent interested in real space
thats weird
this dude sounds like an evil pervert
he just likes collecting stuff
also he imprisons people against their will so yeah he's not some sane guy
hes a necron i was not under that impression
Konrad Curze? Yes but that’s why he is daddy.
I'm pretty sure if somebody's wife had a rare feature somehow
i feel like trazyn could have done a lot more if an entire blackstone fortress didnt just get thunder cunted at cadia
He would totally just swoop in, steal her, and put her under stasis
He was basically just there because nobody wants Chaos to get more of a foothold on the galaxy
Bad for collecting stuff
if trazyn was actually motivated by liking the imperium he could have done something to abaddon or some shit
i mean he gave them battle saving information i just dont think he anticipated such an act
probably not
He definitely didn't lmao
He just told Cawl to turn on the pylons
isnt that important
nobody really expected the fuck it we ball strategy
WE MUST CONSTRUCT ADDITIONAL PYLONS
The imperium had still lost the orbital battle already
It was important
But chaos was winning the battle
Absurdly hard
yeah thanks imperial fists
By the time the pylon fields came online
yeah but wasnt trazyn actively sending his little goofy minions before they decided to just fuck it bomb
No
im just saying bro sounds like a trooper to me
He threw out his spares of spares of spares
To stall Abby D
While Cawl turned on the pylons
shit i would too
Bcs he wanted to see it
trazyn was walking around the battle just choosing what to collect
And then he left the moment abbadon cut through his spares of spares of spares
And nabbed creed on the way out
lol
i think we should hold a moment of silence for what trazyn lost in his endeavor
Like
wait how did cawl even escape
30 marines and a custodes
The Blackstone Fortress was also basically a fucking gold mine for weaponry and technology.
If Abaddon somehow fixed it, it would've done way more damage.
But because it was basically useless aside from possibly flying around. He decided "fuck it, just throw it at the planet"
i dont remember cawl escaping in the book
He got to his lander somehow
It’s in the campaign novel
And escaped to his ark mechanicus
With some other survivors
And then Abby D tries to kill them
somehow, cawl returned
lol
wasnt his position completely surrounded
i know thats where the melta gun kasrkin dies
just got too cocky
Happens to the best of us
Hopefully he'll respawn

Still though taking out a bunch of CSMs before dying is a much better K/D ratio than uhhh
Most guardsmen
what a great book man i enjoyed it
God I wish Battlefront 40k was a thing.
I know they already attempted it once but like
That but good
That would be nice
Tldr Cawl went out the other end of the cave
well
"cave"
its a necron installation
technically
idk by that point in the book i had difficulty concentrating
but Cawl escaped through the not main entrance along with other Guard/marine/inqusitorial survivors
mostly black templars and cadians
black templars running away
only bcs celestine told them lmao
Glave as almost him
Glave was close
oh right celestine fucking dying to the pylons was hilarious
if there isnt a bigger indication that she's a demon
Requiem Infernal is the biggest one
it like
approaches that unknowable cthulu horror of the Warp
and its like VERY mindfucky
Any of the Dark Coil chaosy/warp books
have really weird Warp mindfuck stuff
but Requiem infernal is def the best of them
is glave the kasrkin
yes
rip guy
the book really does justice to the core theme of guard being mostly luck
some people just survive and become badasses because they simply didnt die
then they die for no reason
this art from gathering storm is so funny to me
just been idle in mourning star strange the things you hear. "Through steel salvation!" CHANTING "THROUGH STEEL SALVATION!"
Generally how it goes for a lot of battles in general.
With the exception of course... the legendary Plot Armor
like wtf are they even looking at in that art lol
other factions have a more skill based main character syndrome i feel. like space marine guy is just better than everyone because he knows how to shoot better
