Melta range is already short while requiring a lot of power, which makes the melta handgun even less efficient.

Plasma weaponry, from guns to pistols, have the same range and power

So a plasma pistol is as deadly as a plasma gun. Coupled with the reduced size, that makes it a versatile weapon

If you’re thinking lorewise then there’s some debated about how they’d get it, a well thought of inquisitor with lots of connections and friends will have an easier time than an absolute mentalist who sets fire to literally everyone they meet

but so long as you can justify it narratively to yourself, you’re golden. Even better with that way, it can deepen your narrative

Apparently the reason why most enemies attack you are due to two reasons

1. Because fromsoft, immortality fucking sucks. Death basically isn't a thing in the Lands Inbetween, but during the Age of Plenty, apparently they got to reincarnate using the erdtree.

When the shattering happened. That ritual was gone.

So everybody's mind has basically turned into mush while their bodies still move

2. You are tarnished. And because fromsoft. Everybody fucking hates you.

You lack grace. It's seen in the eyes of the few non-tarnished human NPCs

They have gold in their eyes

And although you are led by the grace. You still lack it.

There is a problem however.

It's inconsistent on how insane people are.

Like there exists people who act completely normal. Like they didn't suffer through thousands of years of immortality

And also none of the enemies speak

Tbf I don't want every enemy to speak.

But I think having some elite ones speak actual understandable words would've been interesting

Basically just a 6x6 foundation placed in the water with as many gunner cages as I could squeeze in (I think 92 in total). Scale that 5 levels high. All of it wired to a switch connected to a Vault-tec reactor.

The basic strategy is to feed the cages, come back in like.. idk.. a week of ingame time. Whenever I think about it when I'm off doing other things I'll pop on over and check my cages.

If they are all full I do the following:

1. Take an hour long nap in teh conveniently placed sleeping bag

2. hit the switch

3. While theya re all funneling into the water, I take that time to build shelving units in a wall i placed on top to proc Idiot Savant

4. pop some berry mentats

5. Fire a two-shot mini nuke crit, trying to target someone close-ish to the center.

6. Clean the rest up with either a second nuke (probably a waste) or spray them with your handy dandy assault rifle.

This is some 40k tier stuff right here jesus christ
