Y'all know how the latest Nurgle releases leant on new thematics (Sloven Knight -> Depression/Boredom; Rotsword -> Mania), I think that we could see some of the following:

I think Khorne is going to get Gors and Khul but I can’t see much else for Khorne

I’d like a narrative factional split though, those who turned on the other gods during the Red Century seeking a challenge, and those who just tried to kill everyone, so a special character maybe to lead either side

It’d give a little dynamism to the factions

Khorne are the most complete for slots in the chaos side really

Light infantry - reavers/bloodletters
Medium - blood warriors
Elite - (skull/wrath)
Monstrous infantry (missing)
Light Cavalry - (letternauts)
Heavy cavalry - (juggernauts)
Siege - morotbike canons

And they’ve so many hero models now that adding more will just increase the bloat (Deabringer, Aspiring Deathbringer, Exalted Death Bringer, Bloodstoker, Bloodsecrator, Slaughter priest, ritualist, mighty lord)

So I can see Khorne Gors being the monstrous infantry but that’s it

Light Duellist/Zorro would be Medium/Elite Infantry; and Hunter being light ranged infantry.
Weapon Collector would be more toward characters.

So Hive Noble Families - when there are celebrations, right, they usually need to entertain guests (assume this is not Chaos Corruption, but run of the mill things like theatre performances, opera singers, stage plays, etc.)
For these entertainers, right - in theory they shouldn't be actual noble family members. So my question is - are they kind of shuttled up between the middle hive and upper hive?

(Middle because I don't think lower hive people could be able to qualify - or if they did, they get 'upgraded' to middle hive by virtue of their employer in the middle hive)

I’m invested, I can definitely see vague noble line (or disgraced noble line) being scouted for a theatre/opera group

(I’ve spent like, 2 years taking my time on a Catallus Death Carnival with friendly freak show project)

I will be honest, my RT is shaping up to be a composite character based off Dorothea Arnault (Fire Emblem) and Eula Lawrence (Genshin), with a side sprinkle of Great Expectation.
Basically...
The RT's Father is the actual RT who had an affair with a random Hive maid, then banished the maid and bastard daugther (RT) to the lower hives. RT Daugther is then scouted by talent agency (an Imperial legit one, thankfully), but sees the seedier side of Hive Nobility.
Meanwhile, the RT Father happened to be doing increasingly infamous things, to the point where by the time he died, the House Name is barely just legal but hated by most people (both for non-Chaos related cruelty and also losing an Ecclesiarchal artefact of some sort)
The Bastard Daughter RT (my actual character) is then painstakingly traced down by the Administratum to inherit the Warrant!
She now has the massive task of turning everything around XD.

Except his mum takes over and sends him off hunting pirates again

But the AI starts hearing whispers. It should be impossible, it's a machine after all, but it hears it.

Despite the attempts to ignore, to block it out, it eventually makes a deal.

The Grandfather will bring back the crew it so dearly loves, as long as the AI itself serves Nurgle.

The tantalizing offer of the crew that the AI genuinely loves being brought back broke the camel's back so to speak. And so it agreed

I can imagine a campaign where the ship is mostly clean at first with areas of Nurgle infestation peaking through the surface.

As you have to take down the insane abominable intelligence

And while you fight it, it basically begs not to be killed.

i.e. They have a lot more soul to corrupt than something purely mechanical.

even then, we know that things like the Castigator-class Titan, which was a sentient and self-aware AI, can make bargains with daemons for Chaos boons, so the Warp and Chaos really don't seem to care whether their target has a soul or not

They're called Synskin Bodygloves, and since I don't recall RT's description of them being ret-conned, they're essentially spray on clothing that creates an atmosphere proof seal that can be worn in a vacuum while blocking the infra-red signature of the wearer.
