Or 6
Its really like not worth the argument or debate lol
nuance and it depends smh, too much nonsense
its been clear for years now minus the Magii (and even thats fracturous) the authors got no idea what the fuck the ranks of mechanicus actually looks like as even the codexes go almost every forgeworld just entirely does their own thing while VERY "meh"-ly adhering to some rough chart organisation

i love when people show me Admech characters and it's just
Stilt boy is cursed
Because that type of skitarii was around during the heresy
lol
I dont understand the battlefield functionality of the most exposed no armor dipshit ive ever seen
bold words for someone behind a wall less than four meters in height
It’s a sniper
Also they’re stuffed full of augmentics
lol
yeah but how does that beat having the same guy but letting him just fucking float or something
the world's most vulnerable watch tower
Because the stilts are traditional in a specific region on mars
jetpacks and hoverpacks need fuel
I’m unironically not fucking with you
This shit has been lore since 7e
💀
Actually earlier
Also the mechanicus do have jetpack skitarii with snipers
lol
Pteraxii can use them
Logistical issue arguments dont really work
its a stupid ass model
and thats why its great
lol
Sydonians have stilts for tradition reasons that’s it
The mini itself is goofy
It should have had reverse joints
Yeah the makers were absolutely aware when they made it
Like the other skitarii stuff
its why its great
lol
I've decided, we should taze admech fans
I wish they had reverse joints
Why are you like this smh
god forbid i spread love and shock currents
Look
I’m fine with getting shocked in some contexts
Okay
Tasers scare me though smh
Granted but you have to stay in the Garth ennis room
Just try tazing us, we will make the next couple months of tournaments unplayable for everyone
Cawl is getting nerfed 💀
And prolly like
Half the fucking army
lol
Honestly cawls not the problem
Oh absolutely
Shits too cheap and our killing power is too shit, so we gotta put everyone into dumb baby sicarian jail to win on points
behold, the most ass strategy
Lowkey I liked the army more preslate
When it was mid as fuck but the whole book was good(except planes)
What have I ever done to you
I just dont like the army rules at all in 10th. The army rule is fuckin dumb
The army rule is fucking dumb
lol
GW got it right in 8th for admech
Imo
Armies only having one army rule is lame and is honestly a failure
Didnt play then, but uhhh looks better than how they clusterfucked us
Literally every army suffers from it lol
average imperium lore compared to average xeno lore
It was just canticles being universal
universal in what sense
Whole army used them as the army rule
who ever does the xeno codex lore fucking love xenos
Rather then you needing to pick Mars for it in 9e
Oh like in 9th?
Wait you had to pick mars for them in 9th?
after reading all of the gsc codexes i m pretty sure there is almost no repeat lore outside of the known cults of the ordo xeno
Because it made the army feel properly cohesive
There’s the repeat baseline description of each cult
which its kinda crazy that the ordo xeno only documented like, 7 cults?
I LITERALLY SAID TAHTTTT
I’m fucking stupid
lmao
💀
But yeah there’s like
A few things I like about 10e
But most of it is bleh to me
Also AoS being the only one of GW’s major systems rn to have multiple army rules per army
Is cursed
10e is nice in how it simplified some stuff, but uh, simplifying the COMPLICATED by nature army was a braindead idea
Just
Bring back multiple army rules
Look at the clusterfuck that is the SoB or drukhari codex
lol
do yall got anything as bad as the explorator maniple in your army?
LMAO
in gsc?
Gsc got a real fucking bad one
I forgot its name
But explorator is worse
Explorator is def the worst detachment in the game
But the gsc one focused on the uh
I forgot which unit
Shit
hang on ill check
Also the irony of GW removing multiple army rules
Is that it hurt the poster children a ton lol
host of the ascension WAS good but since the rewokr its REALLY REALLY bad
Marines had like 4 fucking army rules for a reason lol
i aghve no clue how good xenocreed is now since the 5th rework
Doesnt stop them from still being fuckin broken
Drukhari needing to take a specific detachment for combat drugs on wych’s is foul lol
Marines are like Russian roulette
lol
5/6 times they’re bad/mid
1/6 times you blow your brains out playing against them
unless you run robot gillsman
what cult was it copying
there is liek a 20% chance we get bladed cog this grotmas
which will likley be utter utter dogshit
Nvm I took a look
Why are all of Gsc’s detachments good now

Custodes and GSC got thrown a bone I guess
host of teh ascension is our worst one probably
lol
Ironic how it used to be the best
it doenst work with how the army play sat all now
the melee vehicle amry with a shooting detachment rule that you literally cant use for the first round
wait nvm you can reinforce in teh first roudn
oka an army rule you canliterally use like
3 times
at most
ye, its almsot as if it wasnt made with the new rules and playstyle in mind
Can a normal human with a strong will and faith, resist chaos's direct touch?
what do you mean by direct touch
Like a daemon directly trying to corrupt them
How does a normal Chapter's epistolary level librarian compare to the average grey knights battle brother in terms of power and capabilities?
strongly depends on the daemon. Some can just possess you. Some gotta just try talk you into it
Depends on the narrative
Usually you need to be strong willed and a psyker to resist a named daemon though
If its already manifested
Psykers get posessed the most still because they're the easiest way to manifest
Chaos gods kind of just instacorrupt you based on vicinity i believe, there was a story of that with Slannesh
Or a blank
I see
Blanks are purely immune to corruption i believe
Thx
Its not really clear if the gods like... have locatiobs exactly
Chaos Gods usually don't go around corrupting stuff personally
Yea but there was one story of a guy who went to fight slannesh, resisted all the way there but then instantly got corrupted upon meeting them. But that may have been AoS
Blank don't lack souls per se
Well not in the sense of behavior or personality at least
It is both, but it's more like the dude went toward a Chaos god where they resided
something like that
But they're either flat or holes in the warp where a normal person is a bulge and a psyker is a mountain (thinking about it like depictions of gravity from relativity)
Its never mechanistically explained for real afaik
Maybe their souls are made from warpstuff's antimatter equivalent who knows
There May have been some implications that blanks actually do lack a soul, or the blank space that functions as their soul might as well be a lack of one, given that whole thing with the Necron anti warp pillars
Its not even implication, they outright dont have souls
Necron and blank lore goes way back to oldcrons
They were sick units
100%
And i don't know why they retconned them
i hate how the entire reason they got removed from the lore was due to tabletop reasons lol
tabletop, as ever
Ah
If Blanks have no souls then we do rocks not cause the same reaction for deamons
but like, they were never really retconned
just NEVER mentioned again
they'll 100% come back at some point
GW loves cashing on old nostalgic ideas
necron naming the pariah nexus
"Didn't we have something else named this"
"Idk i was busy cleaning the tomb this last 50000 years"
LITERALLY.
Grey Knights would be superior, their entir eexistence is built around psychic mastery and fighting daemons
Blanks being soulless is mostly worded as being a theory by the Imperium rather than an outright fact.
I think librarians might psychically match to regular grey knights but grey knight wargear is silly
Blanks arent just a lack of a soul, they have a anti soul field. Being next to a strong enough blank can delete your soul.
In order to tide me over (no pun intended) until the next class drops, I have created the Hive Scum at home, in DRG
Blanks do definitely have a different warp presence than if they just werent there
Not delete, will cause pain but nobody even a Psyker will have their soul disappear by being in proximity to a Blank
They have negative warp signature
how did 10th handle blanks anyhow
And for the Imperium, they consider that to be the Soul imprint
And the Imperium is often wrong
its a satire on how your average warhammer fan has no friends
lmao

That's just their smell
I still cant believe that isnt even a meme
MtG type of situation
😩
they didnt
just like me frfr
how to cosplay as blank:
dont take a shower for 3 weeks
lol
Yeah whatever metric makes you show up in the warp, which may or may not be soulfulness, is increasingly large with psychic ability and increasingly negative with blankitude
They can't test the soul theory in universe because all the great soul musicians have been dead for millenia
terrible pun

Ben E King was the most powerful psyker of his time
Stand by me is a daemon survival guide
stevie wonder warding off the demons
Like there are lore cases of people that have had their soul ripped out, or were born without souls.
Both with Clones, the Ferrymen and those SM chapter that rip their souls out then get possessed and stuff
And they don't necessarily have the Blank stuff
Why do you think he was blind? Astropathic binding
i really dont think blanks just dont have souls
it makes no sense
ok ok nothing makes sense in the warp
but as cacti says there's cases of no souls without being blank
Souls or minds having a "warp metric" that can be negative makes a lot of sense to me
Like tau aren't soulless probably
i know that psykers have stronger souls or something
so i think blanks rather have negative souls
counter souls
Blackstone also does not have soul, but does stop warp beings
But their metric must be close to 0
counter soul: global offensive
40k doesnt really define a soul besides that you die if someone takes it out and you can do daemon stuff with it afaik?
souls go to the warp after you die, we know that for sure
It could be like temperature.
If Warp signature are positive temp. and Blanks are negatuve temp.
Then having Blank that are pulling -50, and a Psyker that pull +80 they would still be able they still would be able to do +30.
And you have a lower bound but not a higher bound
i know that blanks also have different levels of strength
trying to avoid power scaling terms
but that might be a dan abnet thing
People are ok at 0 Warp.
Blank pull it slightly down, making people uncomfortable, Psyker pull it slightly up, people are alright with that.
But if there is too much warp things happening, then you have people that start to become unconfortable (Peril of the Warps)
i think most people have some level of "positive" warp since they can feel blanks
It's a spectrum
Everything is negative, neutral or positive warp.
Rocks and stuf being neutral, most living things are slightly positive
And daemons can notice them from the warp etc yeah in my "warp metric" model its like baseline human is 1 psyker is 100 and blanks can be 0 to -100
i think the level of blank does not extend to the level of psykers we have seen
You can definitely be more blank the way a psyker can be more psychic
there isn't any case of a blank making entire planets immune to warp
But yes it seems like peak psykers well outscale peak blankhood i just didn't care much about the numbers
or hey maybe strong blanks are just killed very early on because they're so revulsive to people
infanticide even im sure
"This baby is fucking nasty what the hell"
like the opening of benjamin button
i wonder how extremely strong psykers even make it past childhood
maybe some psykers only start getting full strength later in life
you'd think a baby having a tantrum for an alpha+ would explode an entire hive city
It might develop with brain maturity yeah, its rare we hear about child psykers outside black ships nabbing them
It does but it’s also kind of evil
The Gaunt’s Ghost books have an evil pair of twin child psykers who make an entire ship kill themselved
Based
yeah i know of books with kid psykers
In ravenor it might be abnetics but the one kid is growing in psychic power while hes around
And as an adult hes a goofy strong grey knight i guess?
its not Abnettics its more just general 40k rule for magic
because theres not really any setup limit
Not a bad end for a junkie
its how ahriman for example just does what he wants with psyker shit and suffers literally nothing
do we know who's the strongest psyker in grey knights or are they just all really good
they dont really have a super-psyker character
Presumably the grandmaster?
Yeah probably that lol, but they are more fighty than wizardy
They’re all really goo
There’s Draigo and Crowe as standouts amongst standouts
i just can't think of any grey knight who's better than others at being psyker
There isnt any really
all they do is swordfight and shit
none of them are super big mages
The kid from ravenor is a kind of special psyker never mentioned in any other context lol
i in general just hate how space marines are super-psykers so lol
since they just use their psyker stuff to counter demons
Mephiston, Tigirius, Ahriman, yada yada
grey knights indeed are the marie sue faction
I could see blanks being incompatible with geneseed but yeah i agree
THAT GO TO THROUGH 666 TRIALS
"what if space marines but they all have terminator armour and were all psykers and cool"
Geneseed works on the rule of plot
so its not really any excuse
psyker marines just sound cooler on paper
because they cna cast fireballs
also the Emperor was a psyker so theres that connection
also for tabletop
There’s a physical toll to being a psyker tbf, so space marines have a limit there
It’s why Ravenor is so good
He has no arms or legs so he doesn’t get tired as much
I mean then why are they all still alive
lol
nothing is ever gonna happen to them
theres no "toll"
Its just artificial peril made to make the reader think they might mess up
grey knights dont risk being possessed if they go too far though. they're like immune to demon possession or some shit
They’re also canonically stronger than Magnus
Like, I ain’t even joking
Being plugged into support machinery seems like it does juice up a psyker good
I mean, it’s literally more than 90% of psykers are physically fucked
It’s even a thing in DT which plays fast and loose with aspects of GW’s lore
Iirc this has a mary sue explanation too lol
Magnus cant do shit to anyone so yeah lol
yeah they've all already been possessed or smth
Less immune, more conditioned
Like intentionally getting posessed and then fighting the daemon off makes you immune i guess
Exactly! Every cool thing he does as a primarch, others psykers have done better
some dumb "suffering builds character" shit
Yeah because they arent plot armored characters. Its a thing in Darktide because its what the books also do where no psyker ever suffers any consequence because they got a model on tabletop.
Which you'd think they'd do more!
I'm gonna fucking lose it at work jfc no way somebody is this stupid
Its hilarious because Magnus is like EXTREMELY strong. Like he could wave his hand and you could explode
but he never does this
because then everyone fighting him would die
dumb coworker or customer
Customers
Bro I feel like I'm talking to a servitor
i feel like he barely wants to fight usually
Yeah magnus literally punched into the webway that's not even supposed to be possible i think
Well, he’s supposed to be able to do it, but he never does, so can he?
He telekinetically drags a ship into a planets orbit
Khayon drags one through the warp
It’s at the point now where Magnus can’t because he doesn’t
I just got asked to spell Portland
they probably think you're the stupid one too which is the funny part
Neither is Lorgar rag dolling Magnus’ psychic projection but that happened
He can. Magic in 40k has no set rules aside from "demons will eat you" but it isnt a problem for canon characters seeing as they'll never die anyway.
dumb people love thinking everyone else is the problem
Plus hes a daemon lol
even on tabletop, magic is kinda just a few dicerolls
He never does though
Even the random moon Egil Iron Wolf, Magnus has to aim a lascanon at him to kill him
What's a daemon going to do eat tzeentch's favored prince lol
literally we wouldn't even have the different psyker disciplines if it wasn't for the RPG's
If he never does, then how can we say he can?
He never does because nobody can kill each other lol
like-
He threatens the Wolves ship in ATS
In Tome of Fire, Drak’ir solos the entire invasion fleet and wins
if Magnus insta killed some named space wolf people would go mad
"What am i gonna do with his mini now"
lol
He killed Egil Iron Wolf in that fight
Yeah
a guy nobody cares about
lol
im talking about actually important characters

wait do chaos psykers even have to deal with perils of the warp
I think magnus does drag whole planets into the warp
Kinda
Not the ones that are legit blessed i think
YEP
Perfect example
he somehow yaps at Magnus and distracts him so everyone can escape
truly peak intelligence

Right, but he had to use a lascannon to do it, he didn’t just pop Egil
Because he can’t
Magnus is a Prince so like... what kind of peril can even happen to him
I was joking
Because Magnus is a buster
great so they can just spam lightning bolt
Wait does this actually happen
I mean again he cant because we need artificial tension
if this was real life magnus would just pop him instantly
because hes below par with the Emperor lol
Lascannons are fun too i bet
you know, the funny part about emp being the strongest psyker in the galaxy is that we never even see him do shit that strong psykers do except for the trickery and sitting on the golden throne
I was just saying it'd be funny for Magnus to insta Lukas and get trapped for it
this is the same as how no strong character in a fight doesnt just grab the protagonist and snap their neck, because then the fight is over in 5s and the entire story goes to the shitter
no he just always has to toss the maround
and buy them tight so they can attack him
lmao
Yeah the emperor might be the least feated psyker lol
He’s supposed to be
Yet we have a half dozen examples where he gets outperformed by others
Hes really shiny in the warp
Yeah because
again
he just doesnt
because hes the antagonist lol
Magnus and the Thousand Sons are essentially the eldar of chaos, all they do is take Ls
we just know he's strong from sitting on the golden throne which killed malcador in like a few hours or smth
He was one of the protagonists of A Thousand Sons
but like we never see the emp crushing an entire planet into dust
im aware of these, i read his books, this is why im saying this stuff lol
Magnus can't do anything right
Magnus is cursed with poor decision making and now 0 depth perception
He's a nerd you can easily punch
Exactly!
The writers are doing a terrible job with Magnus because he’s been outperformed
So he’s ’supposed to’ be a fantastic psyker
Yet according to actual feats, he’s not even the most powerful in his legion
What if he never psychics people because he can't tell how far away they are
when you think about it, wouldn't the emperor have been able to unify earth on his own without help from anybody
That is the fate of Heels
you show up to get hit by a folding chair
Basically yeah
but we need big war
and big guns
Never get over the belakor with a steel chair
So we can’t say he’s the most powerful psyker second only to the Emperor
Because Eisenhorn and Ravenor have duked on him
making golden muscly bodyguards for his "protection"
Idk man some of his feats are pretty ridiculous lol
Angron and Modtarion are physically stronger than Magnus is psychically
also to return to the original point
theres no set rule for magic powers in 40k
any super-psyker can just do anything
ala Magnus, Emperor and Malcador etc
same with Ahriman and so on
Eldrad
it's kinda funny how top tier psykers just ignore the concept of psyker disciplines and just melt you into pudding
you just gotta create the illusion that they are under duress by "OH NO DEMONS MIGHT EAT ME"
Nothing happens
thats if youa re some unimportant character
if its someone with a big tabletop presence and model they just never do that

Same with Primaris Rubicon
33% survival rate
Grimnar
Dante
Calgar
Like Magnus could literally take a literal mountain top and drop it on someone but always has to get deflected
Psykout grenade goes brrrrrr
Yep. Again just pointless tension
I think the only person i can remember actually getting perilsed is a random sanctioned in gaunts ghosts during a seige
i wish psykers had the depth that magic does in aos
yeah thats just a normal book character
You say that, but he has to wrestle with the Ork stompas rather than just turning them off, or crushing them
I mean yeah because again
Nah, that’s a cop out
if a superpowered guy just did all these without restrictions its boring
this isnt that hard to get
there's also uh kyril sinderman in one of the opening HH books i think?
i think that's what happened when he opens the book
The rubicon failure rate is presumably just to give a justification for any marine at all not undergoing it
its like how Omniman just wipes out that entire alien planet by flying around at high speeds. No one would do this in 40k because then why am i reading this conflict if its over in 10s

i imagine that's what great crusade books would be
Ikr
"and we killed this entire planet with our fucking thick cheeks"
basically just the first HH book
its kinda how if this wasnt a tabletop game the Emperor would just use super-mind-magic and convince anyone to join him, because authors make up psychic feats for him out of nowhere on the fly
but we need big guys in armor so lol
Well that stuff does wear off eventually
i can't wait for the siege of terra campaign in HH tabletop to have the emp model so we can powerscale him even more
We got examples of entire systems being controlled by super-psyker aliens written for a oneoff entry
So the goal. Would be to get them in the prison camps BEFOTE it wears off
there isnt really any excuse the writers dont wanna bother with
this is what you get when your entire setting has been reduced to Marvel/MCU slop
That’s because the HH series was a mistake
i fucking love when an author just makes up a crazy powerful psyker for the story. that means it will actually die at the end instead of escaping to tabletop
LMAO
one of the most hilarious entries ever i think
finally a new lore chat person who i agree with
The Cacodominus was the name given to an extremely powerful alien-cyborg Psyker who was behind The Howling in M34. The Cacodomius' powers were such that it was able to exert complete control over an area of 1,300 planetary systems. Eventually, it was slain by the Black Templars, but the resulting backlash distorted the signal of the Astronomican and burnt out billions of Astropaths across the Imperium. The resulting anarchy from the events resulted in millions of ships being lost and entire Sub-Sectors descending into barbarism.[2]
KEK
Don’t get me wrong, it could have been cool, but explaining every facet, opening every door?
Just bleh
I legit have a theory that up until A Thousand Soms, the series flipped from great books with a few duds, to dud books with a few greats
i always have to inform people that dan abnet is a marvel writer
2000ad writer first
it makes SO MUCH sense when you know that and read his stuff
Don’t forget, Eisenhorn originally had a light saber
he's done EVERYTHING
even wrote some doctor who episodes
And Mr Men
dude
i have no clue why some writers just appear everywhere
i was playing Alien Isolation the other day
AND HE WAS IN THE OPENING CREDITS
british man jumpscare
Yeah hes just nuts
no wonder it takes him forever to write anything
mfer is constantly on sidequests
idk if he has a lot of connections or if he's just really proficient
Connections and people simply just wanting him
im 90% sure most of these jobs are tihngs hes hired for
many writers would kill just to have one of his contracts
for real
he's good at making stuff that nerds enjoy that's for sure
I just want him to finish the Bequin trilogy already
Lol
Its already written according to him. We are just waiting on some shit from GW.
It’s like a week across the two books and its years between releases
Yeah I’d heard that, and based on how the second one ended I can believe it tbh
I'm gonna break into GW headquarts just to leave a sticky note for "watchers of the throne part 3"
I know Joe Abercrombie and I think JSA Corey do batches and release them over X amount of time and I think it’s a method I much prefer
Yeah I get that, I just chalk it up to another GW decision that makes me really wish I was a fly on the wall for their offices to see what goes on
Yeah its prob another classic corporate thing, we'll get it at some point. At least its not in eternal "will it ever get released" limbo
Homie had to bring up how muh Black Templars lost their librarians.
More that its a hilarious excerpt tbh
people are sying this is a ciites of sigmar leak
I can kind of see it
but it could also just be a mounted weapon on something else
It has chainmail
it's clearly a turret
guy holding a mounted gun
NEVER
honestly I prefer these leaks over the 40k ones because at least we get to go insane looking at them trying to figure it out
it's def a guy using a mounted pepperbox weapon
Heavily plate mail armoured guy
So clearly it’s Necromunda
Which is a chest really because EMIANM
Yeah???
i dont know any gun in 40k that looks like that
Aos tank maybe
but could be some weird chaos minigun
Be a bunch of guns tied together cause it doesn't look like a rotary cannon
yeah and i know them all
especially the big ones
if it's imperial i probably know what gun it would be
This is peak Warhammer trying to guess a model based on 5 blurry pixels
Feels fantasy
Or AoS
It’s one of those 2
it been what, over 6k years and the black templars still dont have any psykers? funny as hell to me
Hey, for the deep lore nerds here, what are the mountain sized aux units Tau have that get alluded to in lore but don't have art? I think they have a name and description and that's it. Please and thank you.
Nvm, found em
Vorgh
The witch is an abomination
Probably thought oh all our psykers are dead good riddance
just copium for getting their psykic ability neutered by a xeno's death scream
no joke afaik the canon view of it is "oh no this is actually a major problem but it must be the emperor's will"
so the whole chapter is just huffing copium that one day the emperor will give them their libarians back
Literally all we know about them.
Basically just a classic throwaway "cool codex bit"
Ik, I mentioned them saying "GW loves to tell us about cool stuff and not show us" and someone wanted a lore line
Tbh thats kinda on purpose
these are made to fire up your brain to come up with ideas for your armies/homebrew.
It is tbh my single least favorite part of the setting, purposeful or not
It feels cheap
Its very much purposeful, you are suppose to read that and just either go "Oh thats neat" or "Damn now I wanna make my own auxillary alien species"
It helps make the world bigger
there isnt anything bad with this
I'm a show don't tell person
AKA, the guy who constantly sounds like he's on weed
yeah that
by super heavy walker does that mean titan?
I don't care what you're telling me if you aren't willing to show me it
any really
Unfortunately you will need to deal with codexes telling you stuff lol
Still pretty chill tho
Are there any thunder warriors still alive that we know of in m42
All dead.
I'm painfully aware
they were extremely unstable
Between knight and warhound sized
Based on the codex entry
Its part of why I gravitated out of warhammer for the most part
I’m ngl
The only way GW could do show not tell to the same degree
Is with a fuck ton of art
lol
I get that, but i want a fuckton of art
That’s still telling to Tongs
I’d assume
Not showing
I like reading 💀
Only in campaign books now 💀
So do I
I also like reading
lol
Tbh man, I would be more cool if they told us stuff with depth in multiple paragraphs than 2 throwaway lines
Im literally reading the 5th dark eldar codex now to come up with homebrew lore for my kabal, and ive literally written 5 pages of shit rn and still going, that kinda goes to show how good these rulebooks are lol
You kinda do
I mean they do
Not just go "yeah they can 1v1 super walkers"
The whole thing is writing about them in action
They don’t say that
Example
There's one stuck in ice in Trazyn's collection
But that was only a cameo in an episode of Hammer and Bolter. So it is dubious in canon.
But it's still funny.
Besides that, like Dilara and Elite Wolf said.
All dead, they only lived for like a couple of decades, and at least half of their lifespans had them start getting a lot of tumors and insanity
Is HnB not like, directly canon?
Yeah.
It’s canon
Anything made by GW is canon.
Probably because that is it's only appearance and in every other type of media, usually a cameo like this would be considered dubious?
plus him being in Trazyn's vault doesnt really count as being alive imo
Not HnB
If it has the GW copyright logos plastered over it in the intro and credit segments its completely canon.
I don't like it
It is. Sorry pal.
unless GW says it isnt canon it is
The lore in the tau codex on the vorgh has them beating the shit out of a knight and fighting a titan
^
And also the stuff on their culture
and once again reminder
But aside from that meh
GW only ever outright deleted like 4 books in the entire setting
and like the entire indomitus fuckup
thats it
lol
GW forgor fleshy humans would age
Is there an easily accessible excerpt somewhere?
Which books were those?
Been through too many types of media where there's layers of canonicity depending on what type of media...

No unfortunately, let me try to nab it for you though
One moment
The lost primarch books
Have they said anything about Yarrick again or is he still in limbo?
Speaking of fleshy humans aging
Thought so, thanks
All 3 books by Ian Watson because they just werent what they imagined 40k as at the time.
And finally Farseer book which got retconned even tho its an amazing novel due to it having a weapon that could kill Slaanesh. Which umm ironic now.
I’m 99% sure he’s still alive
Also the soulstone shit
I refuse to believe they'd kill Yarrick off screen
Also what’s his name
Ime anyway
so i agree lol
Yarrick is pretty iconic tbh
yeah them killing Yarrick off screne is almost as unlikely as them doing that to Dante
This is his official """death""" report. If you take even a 1 minute read you can tell it literally covers up EVERYTHING.
Like this entire text is uh
"Trust me bro hes totally dead"
lmao
I love how the top is just REDACTED
"This is a cover up for a new model hype release"
Anyways corsairs vs corsairs
Is what I’m interested in
Also please for the love of god let chaos lose in one of the campaign books
No.
They’ve not lost a single one
You will die your your sins
I don’t even give a shit about the imperium losing
I just want chaos to lose
To xenos
ok general hux

GETOU-
Die
Tbh
Stub your toe

Xenos do win
Same
when lol
Octarius
I'm still pissed about Octarius
Why
Set up a watch fort there narratively
Use it to release krieg and BT models
It was like the cool watch fort too
Xenos/Xenos is meaningless
Octarius, Nachmund(Deldar), Pariah Nexus(crons)
Okay but they won against the imperium as well
Smh
Bruh are you kidding me
- Nachmund means jackshit, Dark Eldar are a non-factor that just come to raid and leave, they dont dictate the entire campaign
- Pariah Nexus bitch please its crons fighting crons
chalnath
Henry Zhou’s stuff too
Because of the plagiarism
^
I assume we already mentioned CS Goto
Also you said you wanted xenos wins I am listing them out dilara smh
DIE
what was the name of that shrine world that went all "there is no xenos invasion the administorum is just trying to take over the planet" during that big nid invasion
It’s a 10e core rulebook lore blurb
I forgor the name
Not retconned, outright deleted, won’t find them or any mention of anything it then again
Full GW obliteration
Only stuff that got reused was the art
Also Octarius literally is a fucking Nid win over the imperium and orks
Oh my god SHUT UP
You can’t fucking run from it
The warband is still around
lol
Is it impossible for us to get an Inquisitorial Stormtroopers style cosmetic for DT cause GW doesn't support the aesthetic anymore btw?
Mf’er you’re the one ignoring any actual example I give and coming up with a reason why it doesn’t count
its so clearly a dig at the covid deniers and i love it
Should I give up hope for that one
Yeah im sorry uh
Highly unlikely
lol
They looked better
because uhhh in the Inquisition codex reveal they literally fucking-
paitned scions in inquisition colors
i wa slike
"Its joever"
💀
What am I looking at
The Killteam
lol
Not the codex
Gay as hell
SHUT UP
Scions aren’t even in imperial agents
You’re so mad at me today smh
I'll stop holding out hope for that one
Yeah there it is lol
This looks awful as a scheme I'm ngl
I’d be surprised where because I know writers who were told explicitly no, they’re persona non-grata and nothing from those three is to be used
I got like almost all their art
They’re just listed in the list of generic warbands
Maybe someday lol
Something about Inq Stormies felt gritty
They were loaded to the brim with nades and ammo
its because they are very bulky and tactical
I love em
yeah they were like, operators instead of regular army
It seems “tactical”
I love tacticool
scion kit looks too ornate and like it relies on immediate supply lines
Scions are meant to be fancy nerds
Please, by all means
Which is intentional
Oh hell yeah I didn't have like 3 of these
exactly, hence not liking them being used for stormtroopers
LET THEM COOK
also shoutout to the HECU Stormtroopers on the last pic
Dark heresy?
I like the wych one
one of the FF ones yeah
Inq Stormies might be one of my favorite aesthetics 40k ever had
Bro is about to get a lot more then that cut up
And they died for scions
They died for kasrkin

Lol
They got discontinued when kasrkin came out
And then Kasrkin died to a missing mold iirc
Isn’t that made from the cursed founding list from the noughties though?
I mentioned it to a couple of writers at WHW and the air got sucked out the room when I brought it up
Probably tbh
Tbh dying for Kasrkin is even worse
Stolen mold which is even more absurd
Did you know the original kasrkin molds
Showed up on eBay in like
2023
Like I’m not fucking with you
Did anyone buy them?
Yeah someone did
Wonder where they are now
LOL
Also some recasters had suspiciously good recasts
Of the old kasrkin lol
So do what you will with this info
unique inqusitorial unit not tied to the guard
gets replaced by a cadian
What did GW mean by this
even more hilarious now
It kinda actually gets under my skin how many like "human"(not sm, not power armor, not augged) factions have died for fucking cadia
Its hilarious because like
Cadians are literally fucking Agent Smith now
ASSIMILATED
Yup
Do you think GW regrets the 3e guard codex
Where they said cadian armor is the standard
lol
The only Eldar novel decanonized is a good one
Life is truly unfair
Theres Valedor which is good
valedor
Someone kill Laati
also Voidscarred which is great as well
I think if anything irs beneficial for them to only have to print one guard model style
I got you homie
Well they cast 3 now
@opaque coyote come here for a second
Catachan
^
They
KEK
They made new Catachans?
WITH THEIR OLD ASS MINIS FROM 1880
Or the grave
Oh, slated, alright
Ik we get Catachan one offs
Nah. Makes it easier for them
Same as Ultras being the standard (before the sculpted U’s everywhere)
One release can fit to 15 armies
Ripper Jackson and the colonel
they still use those fucking minis from 1891
Yes.
Didn’t recognize you with that name and pfp
New layer of skin always feels nice
I know that Valedor exists, it's just that Eldar novels are well known for being mid most of the TIIIIII-
The fact you don’t consider it good makes it a sin smh
They are fine
It's just that good Eldar novels are rare
Me as an ancient warrior dying from wooden splinters
Fine aside from Thrope doing stuff
fuck off thorpe
Thrope should give us a 10 hour long audio book on the most mundane shit ever in 40k
And I’d prolly listen to it
HE LITERALLY WROTE MODERN ELDAR LORE TOO
