I honestly don't mind a nice ending here and there in 40k, particularly on the individual level. Like for example Viltry is a fatalist with survivor's guilt so it was cool to see him get the best ending possible in terms of his character but he still lives in the Imperium which is a shit hole and nothing will change that.
