Im assuming invincible vs is a fighting game that's not on a known franchise skeleton so we won't know if its good until people spend a week in the lab with it
im only here for the memes it produces tbh
If Eldar and Necrons got the ability to take any unit in 40k, would that be broken or funny?
you can pretty accurately see where the game is going without having to play it lol
Do you play fighting games
Take?
tag fighter with no motion inputs
no i dont play fighting games
Imagine a necron players managing to play baneblades on their side.
oh lol
People will love one game and hate another based on ways it controls you cant tell from video
The necrons used to take human blanks
Tbh it wasnt even "take"
there was an entire unit and lore around it
Pariahs my love
no you can pretty accurately tell how well a fighter plays based on looks and knowledge
we've seen the gameplay
and we know it has no motion imputs
I mean they literally took them
đ©
I meant "take" as an literally yoinking something off of someones army on a table but yeah that works too lol
I also loved pariahs
Kind of a weird until for oldcrons that makes more sense for newcrons but got cut for newcrons but i love them
Tbh the entire reason they were even removed was due to tabletop nonsense. I really hope they bring them back one day, GW loves and always successfuly banks really good on nostalgia.
Oldcrons making pariahs was like ????
But i could see half the dynasts doing it for fun now
My homebrew dynasty's female phaeron has a small entourage of them since shes big on serfdom
yeah exactly lmao
Also necron tech can literally let them do ANYTHING so like lol
Also silence Guilty Gear player
They don't even play GG they don't play any fighting games
That's not nice to say dilara
:)
My bf is a guilty gear player...
Im sorry....
Give me 500 dollars
Huh?
sarcasm
also i dont like modern guilty
What is a Pariah
A Blank
Necron Slave
Blank powered humans necrons took to make them into underlings
Wasnt the old lore for the pariah gene that the necrons/ctan created it for the purpose of making bases for pariahs
Yeah they did
which one
Necron Pariahs are a symbiosis of Necron technology and human evolution, representing the next stage of the C'tan ideal for the galaxy.[1a]
And im guessing the âpariah nexusâ thing has something to do with pariahs
I reckon someone told me that Necrons could do pariahs
Nah
Which i guess they have blackstone now which wasn't really a thing (besides the pylons) but pariahs were cool and would be cooler for newcrons
the pariah nexus' thing is that its a massive blank field across systems of space
Hes played quite a few
it's 100% strive tell that mfer to buy sf5, the last bastion of modern fighting games until VF comes out
He has strive
Implies anti chaos?
Gotta have a soul to be a blank
EXTREME anti-chaos
it completely cuts you off from the Warp
What else
So this is a good thing?
Whats the other one
Why fight it
It is for necrons
The older one
Humans are all essentially imbued with the Warp
The pariah nexus is a giant blackstone array iirc no pariahs involved đ
they go into the Nexus they suffer the "stilling"
XrD
Also dogshit opinion. Dont listen to this dude

Strive is great
Lmao
So we all drop dead if the nexus is completed i guess
Lose connection with our souls?
Yep, thats the "issue" lol
XX is great thats one of the best fighting gamess ever made
Yeah bingo
Scary.
you got it lmao
Yeah I'm positive he has xx
Being cut off from the warp is really uncomfortable at best for normal humans which is why they cant stand blanks
^
all human souls are tied to the Warp yeah so its bad for us
necrons are redditors so they got no souls
(actual lore)
LOL
ok minus the reddit part but still
No reddit is definitely a thing in 40k
the Emperor probably founded r/atheism.....
Ctan technology would have enabled galactic reddit (this caused the collapse of both sides in the war in heaven)

i play it with friends irl
cause online it's kind of dead with no scene the only old fighting game i can play consistently quickly online is 3rd Strike
the second best fighter of all time
yeah uh
Did they ever address how a blank feels in the pariah nexus?
certain another "take"
Yeah but i need to find it
im pretty sure it was nothing lol
because like... well Blanks have no souls so
If they're ok then the tau probably wouldn't mind either
Blanks have like, negative soul
Nah like they literally got no soul
when they die they outright cease to exist
adios Dr Jones

Robots arent holes in the warp like that though
It does seem like the kind of thing being cut off from wouldn't matter though
Tau and non-psykerskein kin would probably tolerate ok too
They kinda gloss over how the leagues have figured out psyker genetics more than anyone since the old ones
They can design a cloneskein to be psychic on purpose which i guess means they know how it works at least at the most base level
Fucked up
But atleast they die die and not go in the warp
Yeah no afterlife is honestly a plus in 40k lmao
Me realizing my favorite legion is alpha legion
I donât know how
Ultra marine and alpha legion
I was like âfor Halloween I should make my profile âOmegon the Alphariusâ but then I realize that involves me having a space marine pfp
Your soul goes to the warp, which can be retrieved to revive you, so yes, afterlife does exist in 40K.
Pariahs go vwip instead so they don't get tortured by warp beasts or whatever
Presumably the weird negative zone they make just collapses on itself when they die
Okay, today's would you rather for you all. Would you rather GW make a new game based on the Badab War or a new game based on the war of the beast?
Like video game or table top game ?
I mean, neither are really interesting
Babab would have more potential at least
Blood Pact and Saint Sabbat
VTMB2 reviews are in and it's "story, VA, and writing are good/very good" "gameplay eugh"
An HH expansion for badab war would be fun
Tabletop.
Doesn't the Babab war happen in 40k?
HH is like lore wise over but itâs stilled called HH
Would just be SM Slop I guess
Would you like your SM Slop with or without orks?
as an ork fan the beast is boring as hell
Is it that bad?
yes it's just orks randomly appearing in the imperium with a power boost
Then you add to that the plot line which it looks like it's constructed by a kid with a hammer and toy nails
one beast literally going toe to toe with a primarch and the guy had to sacrifice himself just to defeat that one and then you're telling me there's more of them
There is hardly any need to introduce a new side TT
- Main 40k for armies
- Kill Team for squads
- Necromunda for better squads
- Acopalypse for bigger enemies (not really supported)
- Aeronauticalis for planes (not really supported)
Get that shit outta here
Imo, it is the same issues that came from the End Time with the Skaven
Honestly yeah
If GW was to plan a new (smaller) TT, I honestly think copying Munda's idea but setting it in AoS would be the best idea
Cities of Sigmar, Guild based (instead of Gang Houses), adding some Criminal Guilds, some Mercenaries and maybe even some interloopers
There's enough space marines, as funny as Badab is, and I don't want to see anything related to The Beast
however, the octarius war, that'll put hair on your chest
I want cat
i'm not seeing the sluttery compared to this, midriff exposed and studded crotchpiece, one boob
not yours to have
he literally has a studded codpiece!!!!
You must elaborate then, what's slutty about an eyeball for a tit
Be fr that marine a hoe
My guy got a titty
look at these thotass straps holding up his nether garments
đ€
lmbo reviews
smash
This guy gets it
you simply must elaborate
what if Octarius war Tide game đ
Something like that could be neat
I dont trust most of these
the game is definitely at "best" mediocre
we'll see once I play it one distant free day
An average of 6ish from all those is mildly amusing though
why is his left arm soo fucked up
i never noticed that
it was never going to be as good as the first one
everything I've seen it's legit just like the first game besides a couple of things
good story and writing
shit ass gameplay
no way its like the first one
its also janky as shit?
oh nah the og is pure jank
no one gets to run away from it
okay nah it just looks like shit
might play it cause night time cities in open games like the first one are hard to make
Space marines normally canât get it up
But for emperors children.. can they get it up?
they can get multiple things up
Wonder what thatâs like
No
Well
Yes but no
As in?
Makes senseâŠ.id assume enough slaanesh corruption can probably get you doing stuff again
It is considered weird if you have one still
But most EC marines are more obsessed with the other parts of slaaneshi corruption
nah you start having sex with your thoughts
no need for a pipo
I never wouldve imagined thought-gooning before
Isnt that just using your imagination
Guess i need to broaden my horizons
scores are all over the place jeez
if the story's that good and the gameplay's mid af
i'll just watch someone else play it
Was my plan ngl
I really just do not like how the game looks
also discount Johnny Silvercuck in your brain
spoiler smh
My brain has come up with a even newer question
Why the hell donât chaos forces have hair?
Or they have that stupid tall cone on their head
Ya
Whats the design philosophy
Warp corruption causes baldness, or something.
Magnus has hair
baldophobia propaganda
I never said it was a good explanation
maybe to make someone look more unnatural
My man is out here calling bald people unnatural.

Did you see the new stuff today?
Its veryâŠfunny
yep
Nurgle Warriors with sexy armour
Im most excited for nurgles blood warrior/liberator equivalent
Blightkings yeah
Those are the elite though
You can look sexy and be stinky
OHH Cogfort that would be nice
Thereâs usually like 3 levels
Human (kinda)
Stormcast strength
Elite of the elite
Nurgle had the last tier
Missing the lesser two tiers
Cogfort, Festus, Woman Maneater, New dawi, and Gargant Matriarch, god AoS is eating good
Nurgle has the human tier with plague bearers
Those are demons
Im talking about mortals
Well theyâre part of the same faction
Darkoath
Chaos warrior
Chosen
For example
Bloodreaver
Blood warrior
Wrathmonger/skullcrusher
new show about gay guy joining marines on netflix is okay
Again. Plaguebearers are part of the faction and they fulfill that human chaff role imo
Which sucks
Well
They can literally have different rules
Plus
Khorne has bloodletters do they not?
Bloodletters overlap with bloodreavers as well
Yes
And it sucks thereâs overlap like that lol
Pretty sure they do different things
You play competitive?
I dabble in it for AoS
:/
Aren't Blightking Liberator levels ?
Reclusian more like
Literally what is wrong with me liking comp
No wait wait
Me thinking that lesser daemons arenât unique and suffer from an overlapping role isnât a comp thing
Friend of mine got into college
Thatâs literally just a flavor L from GW
Guess what her degree is
Political science? Idk
I was going to say, that i feel like if i asked a competiive BoK player in the AoS server they could easily tell me the role difference of a bloodletter and a bloodreaver
Computer science
Okay the thing is
Both are designed to hold objectives
And serve as basic melee chaff
They both are designed for that role
Their abilities encourage you to use them differently, but the fact that they both are designed to serve that role is lame
Bloodletters should be made into more proactive troops that will charge, you can't keep them on objectives for too long
Where Reavers should be a more flexible unit
Alright yeah, i get this
I see what you mean
If you want me to dissect the reasons why I can explain
One moment lemme pull up their sheets
Different roles with abilities but i think what youâre moreso saying is chaos tends to be âmore infantry please!â
Yes
anyways, GW's basic chaos troop for nurgle imo
needs to be distinct from plaguebearers
the same way daemonettes and blissbarb archers are distinct
Blissbarbs are probably the best example yeah
Theyâre the low tier humans but fully ranged
Okay so
Bloodreavers are a generally "inferior" unit on paper
Worse attack, worse wound roll, save, ect.
Better save ?
nope
Worse save
bloodreavers are just inferior to bloodletters aside from points cost
Bloodletters also have a movement ability
Lower the number for save the stronger
however this ironically is to the bloodletters detrament that they're better
Due to how blades of khornes army rule works
Right save numbers is the requirement
where you want to spam the shit out of disposable chaff to die for the blood god
since you want at least 50%(total) of both your opponet and your list to be dead
the easiest way to do so is load up on garbage to send to the slaughter
and you also get blood tithe points whenever your dudes die
so even more incentive to spam the shit out of bloodreavers
Anyways, this leads to the issue that while on paper, there is competition between the 2, even in a casual environment.
People want to play with their fun abilities
and Bloodletters do not enable that
so like
Yeah to be honest they really are some chaff with crit mortals
If they get hit by anything they explode just like a reaver does.
A 5+ 6+ ward isnât blocking anything
Yeeep
Its an awkward existence
Which is why I'm hoping that the basic nurgle infantry serves an actual purpose rather then just replacing plague bearers
Hey donât worry, maybe GW will give us MORE infantryâŠ
Exalted daemons (yippe!!)
its more fun to build lists when more stuff is viable

Prolly why I'm so happy with both my factions in AoS and 40k rn
most of their book is viable
Oh yeha this got torn apart
lol
Ngl I have zero idea how theyâll do that
Im assuming the âhumanâ variant for nurgle would just be like half zombie dudes or something
So just chaff
They could be more elite
ultimately imo the best way to go about it is that Plaguebearers rn are more durable to ranged attacks
which is weird but whatever
Khul has rules in a WD, heâs just a demon prince
Rumors say khul will be back in full force end of this year
The human infantry for nurgle could be some sort of unit that wants to stay away from the enemy
For the 10th anniversary thing
and be stronger against melee attacks
once they're stuck in
like an inverse plaguebearer
That would be cool actually
where they want to get stuck in, and are more durable to getting shot off the board until they get stuck in
I wonder how the 10 block superhuman stat would be like
Blood warriors and chaos warriors are already chunky as hell
Would be almost too close to blood warriors
For some reason they made the khorne berserkers of BoK tanky as hell
Rather than like damage
could give them a shitty normal save and load up on FNPs
idk
AoS doesn't like FNP
Idk I donât think nurgle needs normal infantry and beastmen, plague bearers fill the nurgle zombie archetype by it self
Unfortunately (if the leaks are correct)
They are getting all their human warriors
Khorne and slaves are the only two will the full human roster
Nurgle is up next
That leak was torn apart, itâd most likely guessed and game
What do you menâs nurgel doesnât have a human roster lmao
Meatballs
Let me explain again
There are spots missing
Is what i mean
Nurgles spots are being filled
Ah, I still think what you mean is flawed but I understand what you mean now
Im mostly talking from lore not balance
Did you guys see the âwalking citiesâ titan rumor for AoS
Or something
Wait
Thatâs literally what youâre talking anout
isnt this the guy whos literlly never gotten a leak right
I have zero idea
Tbh idk which leaker is locked in and which isnt
nighthaunt noob and white fang are the only ones who have at least some level of validity last i checked
3000 black jets of sigmar
Think they meant "12 massive walking cities bigger than FG Gargants
lmao, in lore cog forts are literally larger than 3 mega gargants, i reallyodubt htey are doing real cog forts
That would be like
at most its mini cogforts to replace steam tanks
A forgeworld project lol
yeah
And forgeworld is moving away from doing stuff for the main games
(Unless the plastic titan rumors are true)
In which that case uhhhh
whip them and send them to the HH mines
specialist design studio are moving to plastic models for their main games
Yeah
I want Cogfort to be Ironclad but on legs
idk, it does make sense for them to move away from resin
Nothing more
so either it's work out how to do titans in plastic (which will no problems selling imo, & they can scale production so much better in plastic)
or not do titans any more
resin casting is entirely manual & theres been so many quality control issues with foreworld
like you could easily imagine a plasstic warhound selling out instantly if it comes to plastic
For sure
Iâm sad FW discontinued all their AoS stuff
Tbh
Then again theyâve been discontinuing everything slowly that isnât heresy/munda/bloodbowl
its for the better sadly
Yeah
and tow
But I still like the stuff
I forgor but yes
i think anything remotely popular will come to plastic
but yeah i'll miss the niche sstuff
Thatâs a lot of stuff then lmao
Welcome back Tau and guard forgeworld in plastic ig
it is a lot
like for the past few years GW have been buying more and more injection molding machines & trying to maximise the space for plastic
Theyâve also been working on a new factory
it just makes so much sense for them to push for fully plastic
Once that gets open hopefully theyâll have less stock issues
it scales so well
First wargame company to do all plastic
Prolly not
But it would be funny
i wonder if they will
i can see stuff like necromunda still being resin for niche models
Likely
- the guy that runs the specialist design studio is a particularly big necromunda enjoyer
Yeah because Munda is peak
The question is if theyâd be the dregs of the faction or actual capable members lol
Apply similar formula
Specific City of Sigmar
Replace the House Gangs by Guild Gangs maybe ?
But have bigger variety as CoS have human, Elfs, Dwarfs as common, Ogor more rarely, and probably quite a few Skaven in the sewers (which could be available as part of some Guilds or other)
Make it over one of nagashâs funny sepalchurs as well
Then we can have undead
Or we can do order aligned undead
Works tbh
Have the Undead be some sort of Malstrain GSC or Corpse Grinder cult sort of situation
Ah
They're not legal, but they're tough enough and the city is big enough that a band of undead fighting it out in the back allays isn't causing too much problems.
Ash Waste Nomads being Orruck maybe ?
Yeah
Would it be better to have Magisters/Winds of Magic be set around different gangs, or would a gang be set around the Magisters (Kinda like how Van Saar is the Tech gang, or Delague has a lot of Psyker stuff, but there are some other Psyker stuff in other gangs)
Question: https://x.com/JAPversus/status/1978988023049011515/photo/1 is this Iron Warrior pre Heresy get up?
yeah
Now today for a Saturnine excerpt, just as we saw the Iron Will of Dorn you can see that same ability reflected in his gene-sons. When Camba Diaz is instructed to do the impossible he manages it, to the best ability anyone could!

https://www.patreo...
sometimes i imagine people saying "fuck off" when i read them speaking enuncia and knocking back horus or a daemon in books
but then i get curious what the word would actually mean
cause most of the time it just knocks someone off their feet
its basically nonsense
since its essentialyl like Tongues
you're not even essentially saying actual words so to speak
It is essentially the Words of God, or reality as it was
Language of Babel and all that
it just makes you ask more questions that will never be answered
like why nobody else uses it
and why only on earth
Probably isn't native to earth, relatively unknown/not understood, quite dangerous to the user (One guy used 1 word and had his mouth spagetified
Iron Warriors always have peak fashion sense in terms of armor design.
Unlike those bananas in the Imperial Fists.
True!
i need more silver
seeing AoS chorfs painted in their fantasy colours feels really weird
Dudes sacrificing chickens to military machines
Enuncia is a key plot element in Ravenor. I thought it was quite a fun setup.
If you ain't a Bob maxxer we can't be friends
I love it when stories do the whole "Technology so advanced its practically magic" bit and is able to convince its audience watching/reading it that its legit magic before making its reveal
so random question, are there any tech-priests that basically look like tech-marines? just a giant ass dude in massive armor
Myrmidon ?
A techpriest can literally look like anything so yes
I got some techpriest OCs who are all varying bodyshapes, hold on
i cant think of any but also yeah no reason why not
so if i wanted to make a tech-priest OC that looked like a quad-leg from AC i could
Yes
ok these dudes are very close to what i was thinking of
Heres 4 from me of my techpriest OCs
basically techpriests are just kept "humanoid" because its easier on artists and model-makers. Its why you rarely get anything creative on miniature releases unless its artwork where the artists sometimes can get creative.
techpriests dont really get any limitations on how they can look/appear, it just depends on the resources they got access to with each status, political level and just fashion sense lol
Your tech priests lose to my tank platoon
Xenomorph looking ass
Also does one of them have BIG MEATY CLAWS?
its more like big powerfists but yes
Which chapters are most likely to have a marine named John?
Probably the Sons of John or the John Marines, although possibly the Iron Johns and the John Angels
Quite possibly
Really though I'd probably say Black Templars since like they use the Maltese cross which is the Cross of the Order of St John
John is one of those names which are actually quite old and used by a bunch of medieval historical figures but due to it's modern usage it doesn't seem so, like Britney
so funny question, yall think Cogg will be romanceable in the dark heresy crpg i think GW oulod never greenlight that tbh
Cogg doesn't pass the harkness test I think so no
Cogg?
Is this a mold of an Astartes skull or Leandros is actually wearing the skull of a deceased Astartes?
Ogryn companion
mold i think
bone isnt exactly good armor after all
Depends on the bone
And armor against what
Femur holds up pretty well against crushing hits
against bullets
Against bullets
Xenos exoskeleton
Doesnât really matter which xenos, itâs warhammer, if they have an exoskeleton itâll probably stand up to bullets
The Skull Helm is a helm used by Space Marine Chaplains, a stern visage that evokes the Emperor's wrath. These helms may take many different forms and have been crafted by numerous Space Marine artificers across the galaxy. Universally, however, they are all fearsome and intimidating in aspect. An icon of battle and death, every aspect of it ...
Space Marine Chaplains are the spiritual leaders of Space Marine Chapters.
Warrior-priests, they fight alongside their battle-brothers, chanting the Chapter's sacred battle creeds, and inspiring their brethren to greater feats of bravery. To enemies they appear as terrifying and sinister figures in black power armour and skull-visaged helmets.[10]
the whole helmet or the face plate is in the shape of a skull so most likely not a real skull
Ah
wombpreist
Probably not
Molded to look like skull and made to look like bones, though some chapters layer actual bone over a normal helmet
I NEED TO COMMISSION NICTANOVA SO BAAAAAD
Odd question, but are there any robes skins in darktide?
I want some rejects to look like this.
Kind of? i'll find a picture maybe it's what you're looking for
Holy 1 and 3 are sick
The centipede leg crawlies on #1 are probably my favorite tech priest legs
Neat
Also, tempted to pick this print up. https://x.com/IGN/status/1979261270504132732
Lmao thanks

took awhile these but im all happy with their results
im so so so so excited for the next fallout factions expansion
new institute models
Hi this is fucking awesome I approve! I love how insect they all look...its so fucking awesome
What is the story with #3
They look the most unique
these are all amazing holy shit
ty ty đ
Shes a biologis/genetor techpriest, Mago Gravida-Genetrix, Kayatri Xelestra Lambda 9-6.
Basically a part of my Inquisition conclave and retinue member, shes largely a medic that takes your DNA sample to regrow lost body parts or any biological component inside an artificial womb on her body to make a braindead clone of you to be chopped or dissected for parts
I wanted to go for a techpriest that is legit a super nice person but looks like a fucking creepy butcher robot

I WAS WONDERING WHAT THE MIDDLE THING WAS
Almost looked like an artificial womb
Yeah exactly, good eye
did you draw them
hell no
I sure as hell paid a lot of money and designed them from the ground up though

well they are nice đ

The one artist I wanna commission to draw my homebrew sheet hasn't had her commissions open for months đ
thats a mood bruh đ
theres a reason I stick to a very small pool of artists, especially ones I can befriend lmao
man thats unlucky đ
might actually be better to get a HD primaris homebrew sheet and comming a 40k artist for it ngl
I have an absurd amount of artists I follow on Tiktok because I want to commission one of them
...eventually
The next art-related thing I fund might be a second tattoo though
Twitter and Bluesky is also really good for em
Also possible recommendation from me
Eng/Esp| He/Him| Digital artist| Venezuelan | Bisexual|

Support me on Patreon and more social media on the link below!
Ty I'll check em out

tell em Dilara sent you just for some grease lol
hes doing a comm for me then my friend so you might be able to snatch a slot if hes cool for a homebrew skeet painting thing
This may be a silly question, but with how absolutely messed up Tertiam (the area we play missions is), why do they send operatives down instead of just blowing it up, or the planet up
cheap venezuelan labor
I didnât really pay attention the story, but during that infested tree mission, why not just nuke it, and then thereâs data grabbing missions like the one at the top of the satellite, what was that about, why did we risk going there
It basically has strategic value
Tertium and Atoma the planet itself has industrial output of leman russ tanks as well as moebian steel, a special ore the planet produces for other weaponry that gets shipped out to the Imperium.
- in the Imperium life is cheap, they will send as many operatives down to the planet until the war is won or is irrecoverable
If you mean the one at the dusty shantytown its to shut down a heretic signal, if you mean the one on Throneside its to send a secret encryption for additional reinforcements out of tertium, that dish is one of the few sources that cannot be tracked/listened in on by heretic spies
Because the planet has valuable resources and factories that the imperium doesn't want to give up
Isnât the Mourning Star a super advanced ship? Surprised it couldnât do that.
And the second stupid comment of this post, why not just blow up the satellite and shut down the signal?
This sounds like Iâm attacking you but Iâm trying to come up with story beats myself
Plus the planet hasn't paid the tithe in full yet, for obvious reasons
Its not about advancement, like I wrote its more that people can listen in on the frequences the Mourningstar could send any data on, we had examples of heretic vox communicating with the ship as a ruse so they very much have access to the vessel through other means for spycraft.
Also why blow it up, we are suppose to use it
I appreciate you paying attention to the story in my stead. You cleared it up nicely, and it makes more sense now.
I still think, man if I saw the retrieved helmet cam footage I would split the planet in half.
@lament shoal thanks as well
No problem, the game has a ton of lore its just not said straight to your face
If you wanna read more of it its all in here
Np đ
I couldnât easily find it on mobile, but I think itâs considered throneside, what was the point of the infested tree mission? Were we just investing a highly infested area and eliminating it
So before one of the previous updates it was indeed just to inspect the tree, after a bigger update now you return one-time to destroy the tree permamently, with the announcers of the mission sometime mentioning that it may require a future mission to make sure its actually not regrowing.
Its also because the tree has essentially infected an entire hab-block and acts as a contamination source, probably having at that point infested thousands of people, you can find sources of its corruption as far back as the starter areas of the mission
So I did pay attention a little bit it seems. Darktides story is an underrated marvel, itâs a shame they donât have the studio to develop it as well as they could
To be fair they do, its more that horde-shooter games dont really do massive plots, its always gradual or revealed through characters and their banter etc.
Its how its been done since Left 4 Dead since its largely more consumable for casual or pro players that just want to play the game without any extra hindrances.
which is why i do not understand the drooling "vermintide veterans" that complained about the story when vermintide runs the same shtick
most of that is complaining about the player characters afaik, because the 5 in VT are pre-set characters with their own backstories, said people forget the annoyances that comes with pre-set character lockouts verse what we have with DT's characters
I've seen plenty just from the narrative sense, people expected a full COD campaign and fail to realize the entirety of ATOMA is the story
the reason that system works in like L4D and WWZ is the characters and weapon loadouts are separate so it doesnt matter
with VT if you want to level a specific character or play a specific way the only way to do that reliably is host your own games
This is gonna sound dumb
So mutation in 40k, can you get mutations that affect your behavior.
That aren't directly caused from Chaos.
By directly I mean things like becoming a Chaos Spawn because of getting too many "blessings" or somebody or something with intent just deciding to mutate you.
I mean purely accidental. Or even just getting bit by a creature.
LAURA
I love Laura sheâs great
And she actually opened comms last month lol, musta missed it
Yeah I saw. when I found out, it had just ended
Sheâll be back open eventually
Ik sheâs doing some headshots rn
Which I gotta hit her up about
She really is the best
Me when the T'au bring out the tall tomboy water caste interrogator.
In hive cities people who live in the lower levels can become mutants because of toxic chemical and radiation exposure
And i think I remember something about how if you eat tyranids you like become one
With the large influx of rabble into the Inquisition's ranks comes certain risks. Infiltration amongst the loyalist ranks is always a concern and one of many traitors is found and dealt with aboard the Mourningstar. At a glance, a reject by the name of Mara Vinci would appear like any other no-hoper progressing along their Path of Trust after being press-ganged into Inquisitorial service,
Holy shit
She has a name?
Never knew that
All I knew other than traitor is she was thunder hammer girl on the main menu
Those are different people
The traitor is some red haired lady and not the Asian lady
@opaque coyote mundane, non-Chaos mutation is also a thing in 40k. But that having been said, Imperial policy and (some) mundane mutations being damaging to the human mind and psyche
Means unfortunately, they get "lumped together" with warp caused mutations
Now that i think about it, are the mutant specialist enemies mutated by chaos, or by some man made stuff?
Or a bit of both
If you interned an astartes in a warlord titan like they do with dreadnoughts how quickly would the pilot get turned into a pile of burnt flesh
My guess is 7 seconds
Mostly man made
^
But by using the warp/Nurgle in part
the charger Mutants are largely enhanced by tanks and other things mounted to their backs and just used as shock-assault troops
their more normal deformations come from just being underhiver dregs
its said in their concept art as well
They're filled with fluids
the nurgle mutations are really "light" in just some cases of buboes and disease rashes among other things on their skin
same with the dregs essentially
You know what, i'm surprised that we haven't seen someone point to those glass vials and claim that it mean that it is the acts of the Death Guard as some of the mini have green vials (I know that Munda\Goliath have the Berzerker mini that has similar stuff)
They're basically budget versions of Goliath zerkers yes?
Indeed, and are an evolution of the Rager (and later on Chaos Spawn
Not really no
Zerkers are just budget banes
that is true
Bane isnt a deformed guy with skinny legs

Zerkers literally use muscle-stimms to hulk the fuck out
Depend on the version no ?
Not really no
Well what I'm trying to say is zerkers are basically mutants plus
Venom is pretty consistent in all DC depictions
Yeah well not all of them
Absolute universe venom is kind of
cracked
Indeed.
i really like Darktide!!!!!
Unless i missed a joke
This is bane
Not venom
Venom is in marvel, not DC
Venom is the name of the green drug/fluid that Bane use
what's the difference it's all mahvels
2ft taller than the emperor
absolute batman just told him to get in the cage too for a honorable 1v1
Theres no "honorable" fight with that freak
hes gonna use all the tools in his arsenal to beat his ass up
hes LITERALLY juicing lmao
That's just your hero Bias

Venom is what is also the name of bane's drug
venom you know the one that makes him into that steroid induced monster
It was largely for the on-the-nose commentary of how you shouldnt take steroids
so they just named his "venom", its great lol
Break the chains !! Get free from the hero propaganda
I meanâŠchaos warriors do
And i aspire to be like them

Scarecrow and robin in next arc
WOOOOOO
based af
as a prime Batman hater Absolute Batman is prob the best batman fiction ive read since Long Halloween
genuinely for once an actual original take on a superhero thats been done a billion times over
Comics are lowk killing it rn
i mean he got stronger
he got the more venom in his system
im more hyped about someone else
The new transformers run is so good
Yes I know lol
the creativity is largely what keeps me hooked
i barely ever read Marvel/DC anymore before these Absolute runs
shame that the absolute universe can't really make reverse flash more unhinged
They definitely can tbh
idk why people dont understand how unhinged comic writers are themselves lol
if they can make absolute killer croc into Dark Souls enemy then they would have fun with a speedster
Warhammer 40k has some of the greatest battles in the History of Sci Fi. The epic struggle of John Warhammer in his quest to own all 40000 Warhammers from his nemesis, the Horus Heresy.

Theres no heroes there's survival and there's humanity
We don't need an empire
We don't need a savior
We need to be the strongest
Weeks of intensive cityfighting in Helldivers make me miss Darktide.
You don't know how good Darktide is until you play a... more unpolished game. đ
LOL
I play darktide a lot and tbh I want a way to be a chaos cultist
I just wanna play a chaos cultist strike team Vs a horde of loyalist ogryns and psykers and stuff
Yeah chaos is fun, you can get a lot of weird stuff
playing as chaos is cool but not as like a versus mode
cause versus mode is a meme
Oh yeah hard agree
Yeah I'm asking for the same loop
Just from chaos side
Ordertide game where you play as a chaos warrior and cut through hordes of brettonian peasants
Playing as a Chaos Sorcerer would be dope
I don't really think a Chaos PoV tide game would make much sense for 40k tbh
The issue is more so on what Tide could really work and make sense against some Chaos servants
Like Fantasy has the easy Lizardmen
Which operate as Order âą tide
And you also have the Undeads
Here not so much
Ordertide where you play as chaos and every mission you kill 5000 unarmed factory workers and no soldiers
What about making it like payday, where you're chaos cultists who have ambush or raid supplies from the imperium.
It would be like payday (you go in loud and shoot all the cops)
Payday but you're playing as Tech Priests on a Necron Tomb World
You simple get a Warrior, a Sorcerer, an Assassin, a Beastmaster and a Mutant
and the skill tree lets you spec into different gods for powers
a real guy gardner hater
ALWAYS speaks ill of guy gardner
Hell, maybe go beyond the gods and get to spec into minor entities as well.
Bel'akor, Vashtorr, the T'auva.
T'auva wouldn't work cause it's not "Chaos"
Like those sort of mechanics are more possible with a story based rpg, not really a Tide game
Vashtorr and T'auva aren't in AoS though
Oh if it is Battle fantasy/AoS I would want to have the characters be based around smaller/rarer variations of the Devoted of the Chaos Gods
Brass Sister (Khorne)
Druchii Anointed (Slaanesh)
Black Magister (Tzeentch)
Plague Knight (Nurgle)
And either a Skaven or Chaos Dwarf
Na you get the 5 Archetypes and then build into those
the Fang
The yellow fang?,

If Skaven do ever get added to 40k, what will anyone here think about it?
eh they wouldnt fit
feels like every characteristic of theirs is already present in other factions
no talking rats in other factions
real people are waiting for the enlightened jokaero faction
like the orks have their silly and crazy technology, humans are pretty close to their society, tyranids have the cannibalistic hordes
They don't fit because multiple factions fill in their niche
Skaven are meant to represent the Industrial revolution, 40kis way past that
Especially the orks
And their roles is taken by the Imperium for the most part
explain
orks have incredibly funny and unstable technology
They talk speak funny and therefore people like them
And they have an incredibly volatile hierarchy
the imperium also fills multiple of their niches
They're a faction that is the most technologically advanced (even compared to Dwarfs)
"Rat Race" made manifest
Over crowded cities, no focus on any wild life stuff
Lot of Mining operations
thats an interesting perspective hadnt thought of that
makes sense
yeah they are not
honestly you should just ignore them
there is no point in arguing with these guys their skulls are thicker then adamantium
the tau being able to easily make hive cities habitable:
"brooo you dont get it this corpse starch tastes kind of good though"
Tbh
The taus solution to making a hive city habitable is mass demolition to rebuild chunks of it
And Borkâan or Sacâea is basically a tau hive world
brother no one would live in a hive city without thinking of starting 20.000 civil wars every minute
Some things the imperium does are needed but soooooo many are not.
One of the shittiest places in 40k
Lemme check which tau septs homeworld is a hive world shithole
BRB
Nvm itâs Dalâyth
I got it wrong on both accoubrs
you shall now commit seppuku

in the name of black library
can they remake Space Marine
and make Biff Tundrish canon
Grut, forgot to crop my stolen meme again. Is ok.
I dont think a single policy in the imperium is justifiable
Also is he referencing grey knights killing people for knowing about them
Pretty sure grey knights kill people for potential chaos corruption i dont think that theyre secretive anymore
Also the implication that chaos doesnt know what grey knights are is actually hilarious
I can see GK doing scrotched earth kinda justifiable in the sense of putting down chaos corruption, but outside of that? Ehhh
I think its old lore that grey knights would massacre populations to keep their organization secret
But from what ive heard chaos presence is so blatant now that theres no point
It was to keep knowledge about Chaos secret
As the theory was to weaken Chaos by having people not know that Chaos was a thing
Which tbh, wouldn't have mattered
the Warp is natural, and Chaos is a parasitic invader
I was 20% right i take those
I think rounding up psykers is probably reasonable given they are basically a ticking time bomb if left untrained

That's going too far into the other extreme
Some policies make sense to feed their war machine
But yeah some are just absolutely useless
This is why I like chaos
Chaos isn't gonna tell you about it's policies
It's you do what you do or we force you to do it
Man I donât wanna hear it
Oh no people saying my imperium is evil
We are evil mf and WE LIKE IT
Increase servitor conversion rate by 16000 percent.
My favorite Justified Imperium Policy has to be "rich people get all the money and go to epstein paradise worlds while the hivers that operate the manufactorums they own get to eat rust for dinner and shoot each other"
The memes too
Evil imperium deniers really grind my gears
Based
Iâll gift you a servitor skin wallet for Christmas.
making a cash register servitor in a drink stand on a paradise world that says "arigato gozaimasu" every time a transaction is completed
Resisted a cult growing in your hive city by fighting ? SHOULD HAVE BELIEVED IN BIG E HARDER, CATCH THIS EXTERMINATUS.
Spess muhreen lovers would unironically want this to be the outcome of Darktide
That or sending EMPEROR'S OVERRATED ANGELS IN WOOOO
Cant be bombing everywhere mate where am I meant to get my servitors from?
The inquisition is doing fine apart from enlisting the aid of criminals bound for servitor conversion but we can make that up by capturing a few friendly imperial worlds full of pre servitors.
I'd like to see Sefoni get crazy with it as part of a story event or something at some point
That originates with the imperial truth and the emperors reasonings for such a policy.
The imperial truth was place in effect under the thought that it would weaken chaos because religion and faith pushed people to chaos, the exact opposite was proven the outcome by the siege of terra. It is in fact faith and religion that wards against chaos. Specifically the faith and religion of the imperial creed.
You donât thatâs the best part
40K ends when the emperor becomes the dark king
What humankind?
The imperium is split in regions ruled by different primarchs
And they beat the shit out of the dark king
The imperium that just exploded?
Only terra exploded
No
They have plenty planets away from the initial hit
Terra, mars, the solar system, the astronomicon, the webway
Terra was the original lore
Also let's be honest lemon Russ, guilliman and vulkan beat the dark king
GW have added that everything dies
In a 3v1 with a perpetual killer weapon
Coulda sworn the dark king whoever it is
When or if it gets up its gg
No it isnt
Slaanesh was never said to destroy everything
Super power horus with 4 gods power couldnât kill the emperor I donât think 3 normal Primarchs kill a super evil emperor
Dark king is said multiple times if it wakes up then boom
They can cause the emperor did some plot armor device
Like cmon
Not with the astronomicon out, the mechanicus dead, Terra dead, the entire system dead. Daemons literally pouring out of the webway
If they want they can bs anything
Sure if we go on the hypothetical route then nothing we say really matters
Also you have it so the more religious groups will immediately side with Big E anyway
Unless they bring back Dorn and Dorn doesnât side with his father then nothings stopping BT from siding with big e
If any custodies survive they immediately side with the emperor
They have no choice
They are gene coded to obey him
Next thing youâve got big valdor decking guilliman
Even if we reach that point GW will write some reason as to circumvent it so I wouldnt worry too much.
Itâs all fucked mate
Thatâs how 40K ends and we get into 50k
Dark King Vs Sigmar
If the Emperor became some kind of dark god or something, the good perceptions of the entire Imperium about him would probably make him either more of a neutral god, or make him tweak out
Yeah theres no way the setting will implode.
He'd just make his own realm in the Warp and act as the astronomicon while Terra imploded and the imperium fractured to warlord states
at the end of the day the only thing GW cares about is selling minis + that people can still field their own armies
lore is secondary or even tertiary in such a thing
Also let's be honest the primarchs are made to obey the emperor
Not the dark king
Even if they are the same the dark king is not a materium being
Also currently the empirium of man is just a bigger chaos faction
Chaos are just a bigger imperium of man
Not true cause we have undivided
The chaos gods are multiversal brah
If big E turns into a god he will be just another god for us
At least I recall them having ALREADY ended other universes
Not when they like
Devour universes and stuff
In godblight straight up kugath says the gods are bored of the 41st millennium and are focusing on other dimensions
Also yes chaos gods are multiversal
But they also an agglomeration of souls
Aka other beings can rise to godhood
And the fact they aren't active in the setting allows it to happen even faster
That's like saying that a coffee shop in a ghetto can become a chain as big as Starbucks
Like, technically possible
YkwIm
Anywho the best case is that the gods or their followers don't fuck with you when you start rising up but they still hold so much power and compound upon their own power that you will never be able to rival them
Also McDonald's was just a ghetto fast food and they sell more than the entirety of iberlusa
With 35 franchises
McDonald's was in a unique position to do so
Also even the gods themselves can be consumed
Aka they not even final as the gods of their own idea
And its known eventually the beast aka the god of chaos undivided will rise
And it would make sense for it to devour the gods themselves
Mcdonalds is still a ghetto food place
I'm looking for a sheet for coloring IG regimental heraldry, but the only one I found seems to be on a site that's down, tcrepo,.com. Anyone know anywhere else I can find one, or maybe can send me one?
Looks like they're called <Faction> Heraldry Cards, and they were on the warhammer community website once upon a time.
Oh today they just pages of codex
And they aren't really the same format
And I can't send you them cause they are under copyright
It was something you could color in with your own colors.
Not official stuff, it was for custom regiments.
Oh you mean the old standard
I have the Astartes one, I'd share it if I could xD
Don't have permissions to post images here.
YES MORE CULTY AND NOT AN AUTOMATION
Kinda like that, but I want the IG one xD
I have the space marine one already.
Oh ok
That looks like an older version of the one I have.
You wanted one for which type of character
Mine has the dude on the left, four helmets, and a bolt rifle one it.
Basic infantry grunt.
Make sense â justifiable
Two different words. I know why the imperium treats its own people like shit, because its easy. That doesnt make it ok
nvm, I found one đ I appreciate the help, though!
Put it in a maid outfit too
Nun outfit with boob window.
Trust me all countries during world wars were similar
