I need to get a purity seal for my microphone
But I mostly do it as a bit
Eventually the bit because real tho
Or if something works when it shouldn’t I’ll be like “Praise the omnissiah!”
I know, I gotta keep an eye on that
When we start transhumanizing in earnest I’ll convert lol
Honestly I've always like augmetics
So if the chance arose for true bionics I'm doing it
Eh I don't really fear needles or the knife particularly
What I'm fearful of is halocinigens
So as long as I don't get cyber phycosis I'll be good
Well for me the going under part of surgery is what I’m afraid of
It's a completely understandable fear tbh
I don’t like anything taking away control over my body
I mean on the bright side if you were in 40k you'd be kept awake for the surgery
Cause yourself and your actions is really all you truly can control in the world
It’s ironic, I’m a nurse that’s afraid of needles and surgery
Needles not so much cause I gotta get poked like 8 times a year for my job
Blood draws still freak me out
But less so after like 5 of them
But vaccinations or injections are no problem, that’s at least quick, blood draws you gotta sit there for a while
Tbh your still helping people good on you
Oh I have no problem doing it to other people
Ah
Obviously there’s a different fear of not causing undue harm or doing it wrong
But that’s a helpful fear
I just hate it being done to me
When you start studying medicine it tends to start making you really aware of your body, and not in a good way
Like borderline hypochondriac
There’s nothing worse than feeling someone flinch or jerk and you can feel it move the needle around, or them flex the muscle your injecting into, and you just know it had to hurt
Anyways, surgery in 40K would be horrible
I love getting my blood drawn
Like yaaaay my blood is in a tube!!!!! And they're going to spin it around to seperate the blood and plasma!!!!
Yay!!!!
I think butterfly needles are my favorite. Theres a specific kind of extra clean smell I heavily associate with the doctors office.
I like seeing them pull out a new needle to use. Its just satisfying
The only downside is they ususally need to draw blood from my left arm
Which is my dominant arm
You’re an interesting creature
Next time you get your blood drawn, right before they start, say something like “wait, you forgot your red crayon” then when they ask “what for”
“Well, how else are you gonna draw blood?”
The phlebotomists are work are definitely not tired of hearing me say that every time I see them
And it does not make them pull out the Extra Blunt Needle™️
A Interesting Fact about the Imperial Fist.
Oh the Darcy on Warcom is a guy, always weird seeing a guy with that name
and they can't spit acid i believe
all things considering, pretty chill gene flaws to have
Evil
Would this apothecary be first company? ive seen some Ultramarine apothecaries wear blue armour but then some like this one wear full white. Is there a reason for this?
Inconsistency, nothing else
Librarians are blue, Apoths are white and Techboys are red
Both are valid schemes it’s just that white is codex compliant.
Apothocaries ect. aren’t assigned to a proper company.
I thought the colour was whether or not they were head Apothecary or not
No
They should be always in white armor under the codex but
Chapters ignore this all the time
lol
It's because he's an Apothecary.
They're supposed to be that colour.
Hmmm maybe we shouldn’t put out medics in all white then they are super easy to spot and shoot
Space marine probably
Tbf
Marines don’t wear camo
Mostly
They do sometimes but it’s more often for them to be in parade colors lmao
Raptors and Raven Guard in the corner being stealthy while the other chapters just throw confetti colours at the enemy
Damn the Iron Hands got unlucky
How do all of your succesors have better names
LOL
Because the bar touches the floor.
i dont realy understands the angels revenant chapter, i feel like they are missing a part of their lore?
well also htey aer all dead so i guess it dotn matter
fair
thank you for a resolution high enough to see the names clearly
Didnt they put out an official animation not long ago where you had a apothecary ultramarine wearing blue? Is there a reason for that one being blue? Or was it just as simple as style choice? I also dont know why i thought apothecaries were assigned to companies.
The apothecary just wants to wear blue
Im looking at pics of him now and im pretty sure i thought apothecaries were part of companies because this guy looks like hes part of a company.
it's a weird inconsistency with them
they just do what they like
wait that's the wrong art piece
I had a piece saved that showed a chapter coloured apoth
now I can't find it
holy fraud
Also saved
Saw it on Facebook of all places and had to find a website that would let me rip it from the site
is this what blood bowl is like
Kinda yeah
Saving lmao
I think Atlas Shrugged is sad because Ayn Rand expects people to actually be somewhat generous in some regard
It goes against her philosophy
But also like
They expect people to do things like firefighting without being paid
Tbf firefighters need more appreciation in general but still
Like it is a dangerous job. I ain't putting myself in danger without at least getting money

That's partially why Rapture collapsed tbh.
Like there were zero social services.
You needed to pay all of it out of pocket
At least the healthcare must've at least been worth the money since they have literal gene editing drugs
Still have no idea about the canonicity of Vita Chambers
Like
Vita Chambers basically defy death. They literally invented immortality and did nothing with it.
Which I find funny as fuck
Although I think it's social commentary that it literally only works if you're part of the ruler's bloodline.
Like they invented immortality and made it exclusive to THE elite
And to nobody else
No idea how people find BioShock apolitical
That's literally a fucking hammer onto your skull
Actually genuine question for y'all.
If you were allowed one Plasmid with zero side effects (both on getting it and refilling using Eve)
What would you pick?
Tonics from Columbina and passive Plasmids (aka Gene Tonics) are also an option btw
the only thing I did in bioshock was walk around and take pictures of fish
which one lets me do that best
Guys as I keep playing psyker I started to have a very specific question I don't seem to find an answer to
Why do psykers do the specific gesture they do to queil
no, ayn rand sincerely believed that altruism was a curse on the human condition
Likely something taught or instinctual
Afaik, Psykers are trained to do ritualistic movements or mantras to concentrate
in her system firefighters would be hired by the great people she so loved
Makes sense, cause it does look cool but lime Warhammer tends to have lore answers to everything so I was surprised there was no books or sources on it
finding concrete answers in 40k? impossible
Wouldn't it depend on their backstory
I mean I got an answer for pretty much everything about my tau empire
anyways there's no hard magic system in 40k. there's no specific set of hand movements that psykers do to magic
But I mean xenos are underexplored in comparison to humankind and chaos
fantasy and aos spoil us with a decent magic system
40k’s magic is
I mean I don't like psykers cause they are mages
I like psykers cause they use chaos and chaos kills them before using them
Very vague lol
magic in 40k is alot about symbolism and feeling
Well they’re not sanctioned and trained by the telepathica is my point
The way they like
it varies widely
it very much is whatever a writer wants
They should allow us to buy quail cosmetic gestures
The way I flavored my PC Psyker getting rid of warp charge in Dark heresy
and a language that can throw a primarch across a room by saying 1 word
Was that they’d grip onto their other arm really tightly lol
but that's apparently not something worth investigating to the imperium
then there's the "science" of the necrons
yeah it blows up your mouth or something lol
40k thuum
i wish we could have a lore consistency on where this shit comes from
did a god create nuncia?
who creates runes?
Eldar
Well
We know the eldar have a fuck ton of runes
It’s likely the old ones
Who made it
Or maybe the eldar made them
nuncia or runes
Auto corrects a bitch
Honestly one thing I always found weird is how tzeentch doesn't just use psykers to his will
nuncia being invented by ancient humans would be the funniest thing
like we have sprinkled lore here and there that ancient humanity was actually pretty powerful
and by ancient i mean pre history
The Tower of Babel was real and built with enuncia
And then olanius blew it the fuck up
holy shit you just reminded me of the conspiracy theory
aliens created the pyramids type shit
I mean if the god emperor refused to show himself for quite a long time acting in the shadows I imagine how humans were
And honestly olanius was right
where they built the pyramids using fucking SOUND
wtf lol
yes the necrons did
nah emperor was pretty active in the ancient world
he was alexander the great
that's pretty big involvement with history
The emperor chilled the fuck out later on
I'm talking when he trapped the dragon in mars that made the mechanics religion after milenia
That story was like first of all wtf
Second of all god emperor at the time wasn't even a known entity
my theory is humanity was so huge during DAOT that emperor's actions just had much less impact no matter how big they were
Or perhaps he already was in chaos
We dunno what exactly the dragon of mars is
Because the lore of it was written pre necron retcon
lol
And it’s sure as fuck not the entire void dragon now
Like it was originally written
If it is a shard of VD it would be cool but it would be cooler if it wasn't
aura
that's how
plot
Homie is a literal god in chaos and Ur question is how did he achieve space travel?
well he wasn't near godhood yet
Yeah
it's the one thing we havent seen him do
he was just a powerful psyker/perpetual
But if he is a god in chaos he always was
Does everyone in ultramar have cool names like "Demetrian Titus" and "Valorum Gadriel" or are these names given to them when they join the ultramarines?
ultramar is a system with many cultures
ok so how time works in the warp is that it doesn't
Slaneesh wasn't and was in chaos at the same time
Slaanesh didn't exist until they were birthed
There's Sicarius Cato, pretty unhinged dude
but
So does everyone have cool names or no?
everyone in 40k has cool names
pedro
My take is god emperor existed across all time and he was the one manipulating himself in the matirium to become him
The issue is he may be the dark king
Gosh the lore of Warhammer is too confusing
the two plot points that are never getting anything ever again are both the yellow king and dark king
I mean what's accepted in the lore community does the emperor see primarks as just tools or actual sons
say it right: king in yellow
we can't ignore how it's literally copied from a book
both
Prolly both
typing too fast I missed it
Cause if he sees them as just tools then the making some of them fall into chaos for a greater porpose would make sense
LIke in the end to him they're tools but he does seem to love some of them
I mean he loved Horus
but they're still tools
there's pretty much no way to be informed about the emp's actions and not come to the conclusion that he's a terrible person
like how you love a hammer you've had for years
so that's a starting point
big man bad
I mean the emperor is an awful person but he is the only thing keeping humanity
I mean now he is
but before he came around there were many human civs that were thriving
rn yeah because of macguffin reasons
I mean what chances do humans without the emperor have agaisnt necrons and eldari
eldar are the one faction that mostly just want to be left alone
the only one you need to worry about it dark eldar
and they can be beaten with actual coordination
And that's not even considering how easy it would be for us to fall into chaos
the emperor is being a light house
necrons have plans to do stuff when they reawaken in 10k years but honestly they infight so much that i expect them to civil war eachother to death
Like for god sake just to understand how the emperor works I already feel like I felt to tzeentch
without that humanity is on the brink of extinction
the imperium is a larger boon to chaos than any of the human civs were
the emp literally caused the shittification of the galaxy
if it wasn't for the HH then chaos would be much less powerful
like im not gonna pretend it was great for everyone like the imperium did help some planets
but overall shit went south
Werent Humans just technically advanced as well before Big E decided to be an Emperor
I mean if the deal he made with he chaos gods to make the primarks wasn't retconned just yet, he signed for it
DAOT yeah they were at the top before calamity after calamity
lots of planets were more advanced than even the imperium
I wouldnt say theyre technically helpless without him before
Yes but they were prolly more like tau
more so
Aka they had tech but they would be easily no diffed by necrons
what we know is humanity was very fragmented during the DAOT
it's implied that DAOT humans created artificial worlds
there was no single empire
Well Necros didnt have AI afaik
I mean they didn't need it
Didn't AI almost ruin humanity
he signed for a lot of things which he somehow didnt expect to cash in later
when your scientists can see through time, calculate faster than an atom can split
you dont need AI
To be honest necrons kinda are AI
They don't have souls and they have advanced processing and they are mechanically imortal
AI partly what caused the age of strife yeah
we dont know how much though
Didnt they used to be like humanoids tho, before looking like what they are now
we dont have art of necrontyr
but they prob looked similar to their robot forms
they were a very sickly race
Yes but after they made the deal with c'tan are they even the same thing
I mean in Warhammer every living creature has a soul
they were still necrontyr until they turned to metal
And then necrons dont
well the soul and personhood are separate in 40k
ofc they look human lol
I think it depnds on the PoV imo
Necrons (yes even the warriors) are still people under all that metal and code
in 40k you don't reallly need a soul to be a person
necrons have sort of a soul or something
If their mind was just copied over to a new body id liek to think its still them in a different vessel
we just know they arent AI
It’s not warp based
I guess they have a soul it's just that their soul is in the materium
They’re literally digitized minds
There’s nothing artificial about them
You cannot make a new necron mind
every necron around was born and raised over 60M years ago
Actually that's one of their inconsistencies
the only thing they can create at this point is constructs
their memories and ambition sort of continue in the new body in sense right
Why are they all born in the same time but most of them aren't flaid minds yet
sleep
the great sleep stopped most of their defects
but they do go crazy over time when awake
destroyers are a loss of self to the point where everything must be destroyed and the flayer virus is uh
the silent king is said to have been awake the whole time
spooky god magic
but who tf knows if that guy is real
Wasn't he confirmed and back to the setting
destroyers are the only "natural" affliction
he's not fully trustworthy
Like isn't the whole necrons on necrons conflict about it
I mean he just got a book which I still need to read
he kind of just appeared back into the galaxy and proclaimed himself king
my goat
supposedly he spent the millions of years outside the galaxy
which is... convenient
He is a necrons that wants to make the necrons go back to flesh
Glory to Szarekh Last of the Silent Kings
It makes sense he prolly tried to go to other galaxy to find something similar to his old species
Like a suitable host
Nah humans are too warp defective
no necrons are actively testing on humans a lot
I wonder how the Imperium would react to Mankind's possible fate of becoming the Toclafane from Doctor Who.
it's a big plot point
in the animations
and ofc everything must be human related in 40k
I mean but weren't they doing those experiments under the other necrons leader
That actually thinks they are the superior existance
Humans are the only species really prominent enough to take over as their bodies
And does those for curiosity
like you have to remember Necrons aren't really limited on numbers like Eldar
yeah there's prob billions of necrons still sleeping or smth
there's still billions of them but most are sleeping/dormant, Eldar are too few/too pyskery
Tua don't live very long
orks are orks
also eldar are their sworn enemy
And they can't even abuse their powers or they get slaneeshed
yeah
Can't wait for the plot where necrons almost end eldari then they die to slaneesh and their god of death manifests
Maybe in 40 years from now
It's just humans have the numbers and compatibility to be taken over
👀
never happening
also this yeah
at most we might get new tabletop units for necrons that are fleshy
But the tau are lore progression
i do think that plot will lead somewhere
They already made anti space marine tech
and it will have no major consequence on the galaxy
minor stuff happens all the time
even the lion coming back hasn't led to anything really
besides nihilus being less
ass
it's important to remember how big cadia exploding was
since they have an angry Tywin Lannister
like GW is still talking about it like 6 years later
Warhammer the game where we will create lore plots for the sake of a figure and then never progress it
I mean that was cabal
that's 40k yeah
just remember that the plot rn is moving faster than it has ever before
there's the fact that the throne wont last another 100 years which I bet will never get touched again considering the ending to that novel
I think eventually they gonna have to end Warhammer 40 k
but it's space marine related
And release Warhammer 50k
or cawl will just touch it and fix it instantly
not happening until 40k dies
the only reason fantasy was ended is because it was selling like ass
40k is still insanely popular and getting even more so
esp with stuff from amazon
lmfao
The LOTR Orcs outsold the tactical marine kit
To be fair I'm a xeno main and even I acknowledge space marines are cool
well it's LOTR
And the tactical marine kit outsold all of WHFB consistently
they're definitely what sells
and other factions get sidelined
Anyways point being whfb was literally a rotting corpse
By the time it got old yellered
lol
I mean Tau does have some development as of recent
I think at most we'll have an imperium split
And chaos is getting more lore on the emperor's son things
But yeah eldari lore is just dying out as the species
Not really
development is different to plot progression
And necron lore is in a constant state of the same loop but new story
factions can get new stuff but the galaxy is big and it wont affect the wider story
stuff like the necron civil war while big is still not big enough to affect the rest of the plot
also
The warp bone retcon was not accepted
nothing has happened with that
like we haven't gotten much on the civil war in a bit and that pisses me off
It was just really shittily worded
I’ve literally read the new eldar codex
And eldar have gotten new lore
Besides that
So

Fair
We need an eldari videogame
We got more on what Beil’tan has been up to
Which is the fact they’re literally rebuilding their craftworld
After it fucking shattered
Also we need a tau videogame about the tau enclaves surviving agaisnt the greater good
Well
But without farsight being a playable character cause he would outshine everything
The farsight enclaves literally agree
With most of the greater good
I’m not sure how people miss this
They do but the tau empire doesn't agree with them
Ethereal are our leaders
Ethereals are up to something
like their past is made to purposely sew doubt in us
I mean humans say they have feromones but it was never confirmed
that was more of a hypothesis in the biologis book
the enclave also have good reason to not trust them
Actually, odd question, but can the Deathwatch handle chaos things as well as they do with Xenos?
imperium doesnt know why ethereals control tau so hard
I mean they're space marines so they can handle it but their expertise is xenos
The tau empire blasts so much fucking propaganda
not as much but again they're still space marines
It's cause ethereal were born to be leaders
Same as the empirum nobles
But without the fake politics
YOU ARE A WATER CASTE PROPAGANDA OFFICER
Just straight up real politics
if it was just propaganda then the imperium would realize that
Even low ranking ethereals have drunken the koolaid
lol
We’ve seen lower ranking ones question why the fuck they’re the ones in charge
Ect.
And then they think about everything they’ve been taught
Societal standards
What’s normal
It's all for the greater good
Your sentence is death 🙏
Considering they don't have chaos powers and they disliked the tau duarva god they prolly didn't came from chaos
💀
I mean the Ethereals are Tau but like are they natural?
Thats the thing
we just dont know lol
prob not
HRUDD TAU INTERFERENCE THEORY
Unless GW really wants us to know
My particular xeno species can't die cause I said so
i think it's more on the side of them being created
👀
💀
am I wrong
no it means kill and eat the pope and dali lama
if it was just propaganda then water caste would have been the leaders
I think ethereals are prolly a mixed race
They are water caste with other caste
Isn't that Jeff Bezos?
they do?
They have all the elements of castes
south parks version is yeah
you could say it's a
not offical iirc
game theory
but still one of my fav tau caste arts
its official
its from Battlefleet Gothic 2
ZE CASTES MUST NEVER MIX
-Earth caste scientist
That's why they aren't etherals
I haven't played the game in 2 years so yeah
-goe'ring hit'la
sad we never got a tau campaign
Have u ever thought the reason castes aren't allowed to mix is cause that would make new ethereals
Yeah thats largely just due to the game being super niche
so we just got Chaos/Necron DLCs
is this a got dang reference to the mole from atlantis the lost empire or am I going nuts
it's more about controlling them
that's fine because the necron dlc is hilarious
ethereals want full control over all tau
"woe go my genestealers"
so no free will
But it's for the greater good
(the tau do show how we would justify tirany irl tho)
if I had a nickel for every time trazyn used genestealers as a weapon I would have two nickels
people always will
Yes
LOL
the imperium does
the entirety of 40k does actually
The god emperor wasn't a tirant
LOL
The leader of the empirum is a primark
the guy who wanted to wipe out all human religions?
stellaris ahh art
The god emperor was more than a tirant he was the superior human and you couldn't stop him
actually looks like it's straight out of a DLC trailer for stellaris
Yeah I could
id put some dirt in his eye
how is that not a tyrant still
Cause you can't overthrow him by human means
the Emperor stopped the fake news of humanity from spreading, if it wasnt for DEI Horus he'd have won a 3rd term!!!

i can't stop kim jon un so does that make him not a dictator
Kim Jon un is stoppable by human means
It just would raise a huge war that isn't worth
okay but to be fair
Nukes are by human means
Emperor Kim is superior to Emperor 40k
One flop of his belly could kill the Emperor
The emp Is a perpetual
If u kill him he will be back eventually
If u kill Kim Jun UN he is cooked
hes like that guy in FNAF
he always comes back

that's what you think
^
how do you know he's not a perpetual
Kim has big plans, you just wait
even better
how do WE know hes not one of the Emperor's disguises?
🧠
Emp is more of a force of nature
a force of nature who got half killed by a bald guy
^
To be fair I don't know haven't seen the irl after life or warp just yet
It might exist
Lemme just join a tzeentch cult
maybe the Pope is lying to us about it
He didn't got killed
He just got put in a wheel chair
Nah
hes cooked
im sorry to tell this to you chief
bro lost the sleepover challenge
If Horus would kill him he would be on the process of reviving which he isnt
💀
Also the emperor supposedly has multiple souls
So like we don't even know if other of his souls is somewhere outthere
Do you think GW will try to pull a Disney and do their own version of Star Wars Visions?
I mean
it kinda already has with multiple books
also with Hammer and Bolter
minus each episode being a different animation studio i guess
Also honestly a thing they need to access why does the emperor absorb psykers and noone of them just ya know changes the emperor soul or something
Like I guess the emp is stronger than all of them
But like there's been billions
because that isnt how it works
the Emperor is also a sack of shit
its better he stays in a vegetable state
lol
Imagine if Madhouse could do a film on 40K or Necromunda.
god i wish dude
Alternatively, I could see them pulling off a fantasy or AoS short off pretty well.
Ermmmm the emperor ummm literally unified humanity by slaughtering all dissidents he is SO morally grey
Just like corvos
Ya know the guy that hates his sons and is a chaos creature
thats from Dishonored
dont bring my goat Corvo into this
Haha
I was about to say that name sound so familiar
Corvo is a villain
No hes not
He was killing the working class
Ok let me rephrase i was killing the working class
It's corvus corax mb
Thats called preventing the rat plague
all good
he has a goofy ahh name anyway
normal mistake lol
Plasma carbine
And I know size isn’t everything
But it def doesn’t feel like a full plasma gun lol
Okay that’s what I thought
It doesnt look like a carbine though it looks just shrunk
^
its deffo re-sized
hence why it looks so off
lol
Do you think it was meant to be bigger
On the gunner originally lol
Or fatshark wanted it smol
Is there a lore reason as to why chaos plasma guns always have a spike
Is there such a thing as a stormplasma?
It looks cool damn it
I didnt even think of that my folly
Also, it's a bayonet
It’s awesome
Also you can stab people with it
Exactly.
Nope, plasma is just plasma
Thats the worst bayonet ever for stabbing
Or use it as a torture tool, if you let the plasma heat up the blade.
Shit thats good
im stealing it
So that's a no to twin plasma's taped together.
I THINK that exists?
but like
its just a big-ass plasma
its not really a "storm"
In field flaying tool is such a valid term
lemme check
Yes
They exist
The mechanicus and marines have em
Thank you for your service.
🫡
Plasma is the fourth state of matter, beyond gas. It is a sea of ions, or charged particles exposed to so much energy, such as nuclear fusion or lightning, that the bind between electrons and nuclei become weakened and the electrons freely flow through the plasma as a current just like through a metal. Plasma emits truly heroic amounts of energy...
had to go through this page
1d4chan sucks balls
but they are good at documenting some shit
lol
Odd question, but could that CSM hold someone in place by pressing the blade into their back?
Thats exactly what I was thinking
Maybe they could shoot through their hostage as well, if need be.
Like that guy did From Dusk until Dawn.
Let me go find a clip of what I'm talking about.
Seth (George Clooney), Katherine (Juliette Lewis), her father Jacob (Harvey Keitel), and Scott (Ernest Liu) geared up and are now ready to fight the vampires. They’re getting out of the room where they were hiding and they start fighting back.

The Human Torso Guitar sounds like EC should have.
try the abuse help line?
So I thought of a new question: If each legion ended up having a wulfen like curse, what animal would a legion of your choosing turn into?
Id like to think since Dark Angels fought Chimeras before they'd prolly be that, just thought it was fitting due to their diverse war doctrines as well
For some reason, I feel like Imperial Fists would turn into something like Ants or creatures that build and defend.
At least they might get their ability to spit back.
Would 100 000 space marines be sufficient to win against the 10 000 custodes in a battle or war?
Classic 40k debate right there, honestly hard to tell imo
Maybe depends on which legion, or what kind of setting the war is
I think in an Open Field, Custodians would just maul every Astartes on it
since wer rearing close ot the release of deadlock i decided i will be optimisitc about it (unless it gets delayed)
Like that Overwarch-esque game by Valve?
Not much a fan of competetive shooters for like a while now, but I got some mates waiting for it too since its by Valve
the wat now

holy shit i want one
That very masculine monologue from Abrams
#deadlock https://t.co/UUAeyNBKwQ
hhehehehy
i think it being from valve, a company wlel known for hating their lpayer base adn thinking all fo their opinions are bad, is perfect
Its also the only moba I've enjoyed
Does that actually happen
You've talked me into it
high effort holy shit
Just a high quality shitpost
Its a valve game so the community is gonna do some crazy shit
I love the dialogue too
"So, whats your deal?"
"I puch people, you?"
"Pretty much the same, this is gonna be fun"
iirc its for an open alpha/beta
The game still needs(a lot) of work visually
but it already looks great
Hey what special about frost blade wield by space wolves?
Double edge chainsword?
Teeth are made from Kraken stuff
Ive read that they got some kind of arcane tech that uses runes that they place on them and stuff
They dont just put them on chainswords too if i recall
Planning to modding a game with that weapon but I would need what kind debuff would give the enemy other than cleave through (since is a base game mechanic) and armor penetration
Is sharp teeth, can cut easily
Oh neat, like a mod for Darktide?
Nah is for arpg dungeons crawler
I already mod many weapon from Darktide to that game
Ohh, noice
Well since its called a Frost blade, why not add some Chill or frost aura on it
Lore wise they've got some weird propereties
Like the fact they can "clash" with power weapons without a power field
My friend told me there’s no frost in lore
There should be afaik
I mean yeah
Its just a master crafted power weapon
in how its treated by GW
its present for flavor
There was uhh, a Space wolves novel that had a guy named Ragnar it in that has a frost blade called Frostfang
Ragnar's frostblade is a fancy chainsword
wasnt it described as being covered icy vapors tho
that also freezes wounds shut etc, accordin to the novel anyway
i still dont understand votanns plasma melees either
its like a light saber
lol
It projects a blade of plasma
around the emitter portions of the actual melee
you got the shitty melee weapon in the middle
and then the plasma projects around it
sounds based, dunno about y'all
they're cool
so if they ever had to clash melees it p much joever then or does the plasma actually give space magic resistance
The plasma resists
it can clash with power fields
and force weapons
What cruzium arcanum is shock maul-likeness
the LoV's melee department is much more interesting then
bolter but better
railgun but better
the croazius is a fancy power maul
its a very well made fancy power maul
tabletop wise its a mastercrafted power maul stat wise(depending on edition)
so its better then a normal maul
Aye then
but same as a master crafted one
GW basicially has "tiering" for weapons on the tabletop
Characters generally get master crafted/faction equivelent ones.
Like a Marine captain, Eldar Autarch, Tau Fireblade ect.
Well hey, check the mod in different game I made for a thunder hammer
I been thinking how strong thammer is
Since I just give the hammer mod in the game for 65% more damage base
Heroes of hammerwatch 2
Modding is a lot potential
So I came here ask some weapon info before decide made into it
Looks solid tho, good job
Well shock mauls technically a club with electricity on it I guess so shouldn't be too hard
Yeah just give electric damage and call it a day
Weapon slotting in that game just 1 handed or 2 handed
One hand means 1 ability only, and 2 hand has two ability
So I have to figure out making power claw give chances charge attack
It is power claw like every power blade?
Uhh, well since theyre kinda meant for tearing into enemies could add like a bleed stat effect imo
what about making it rend armor
It would be this stats
The debuff
Tbf I made 2h great chainaxe with cripple and armor break, bleed
Is a heretic weapon I know
well from what I know from the pwer claws its that theyre fast, it can rend through infantry and shred armor
Im not too familiar with how they are in terms of the tabletop so maybe someone else can give some insight on that
if youre looking for ideas
Well from what little I see them in, they're mostly put on Terminators
I seen on commissar too
So I'd like to think its a heavy weapon
Like Yarrick
I dunno if I'll call Yarricks claw as a power claw, since it was from an Ork originally
It was sized down to fit him too from what I recall
I guess only difference is it doesnt have the typical disruption field it does on a typical imperium power claw/fist
Power fist is for punching blunt force like thunderhammer
While power claw work like power sword
I guess I stick to bleed damage
But not sure how per chances to make enemy bleed
80%? 75%?
Guarantee bleed is not a problem
Oh my mistake is not power claw is lighting claw @unique bronze
They not the same?
Oh, the Lightning Claw is the ones that are like attached on their finger tips as far as I know
The Power Claw is like a Power Fist with the Talons just atop the knuckles sort of, like a wolverine
So you meant the first one?
I guess the names are just a bit similar yeah
power claw is the ork version if im not mistaken
dont space marines use them too, and just have a similar name
both versions the finger knife and the power fist w just knifes ontop are lighting claws just the finger one is i think specifically meant to be for cataphracti pattern terminator armor
i mean theyre basically just power swords ontop of a powerfist so
That’s sound orkish design
Lmao
I’ll probably just give bleed and armor Rending on mod weapon
Lighting claws lore wise have no real reason to exist but cool
But they let you have Wolverine claws
LOL
Did GW trying hide lighting claw?
same thing w chainfist just a tiny chansword on a powerfist
Or that power fist with a bolter on the sides
Yeah it sound like prototype firearm failed made in production
the cataphracti ones sort of mainly cause that pattern of armor is a lot more rare in 40k then it was in 30k
When are they adding a power claw that's white?
So I can also match my irl state of white claw drunk

what you mean
White claw is a alcohol canned drink
like just make the color white?
Brand
Oh lmao
So, lightning claw…. Just give armor Rending and bleed
Sound fitting enough
How fast attack for the claw?
I think terminator mobility is quite lesser than space marine
makes me curious how Pederson would make the terminators look like in a fight in Astartes 2
Terminator got some shoulder back missile
Armor look heavy not like space marine unit
I like how beefy it is tho, they have some of the best designs imo
Heres one of Tyberos, its fanart but its a really nice depiction of him
Is look to me is either crazy speed anime or slow ass tank
I remember reading a small panel that he managed to clear a room of traitors in a matter of seconds, tho I cant verify atm kekw, since it was something i saw ages ago
why not
Because he’s got no ornamentation lol
That’s kind of his thing
