Also since most nobles there have absurb levels of wealth I imagine the dynamics would be fairly different to a tourist trap country.
Knowing the descriptions of Imperium Nobles and how degen they are.
It's definitely just Epstein Island but turned into a world.
Yeah LOL
What is life like for nobles
Epstein Island with a fair amount of non consensual body modification
backstabbing and power grabs
excess of every kind, etc
😨
IGNORING THE EPSTEIN SHIT
You don't GET to ignore it.
stellaris reference
I WILL LOOK OUT OF THE WINDOW WITH WINE
I think it is worth noting that
In Rogue Trader, Cassia who is actually a fairly good person (at least for Imperium standards). Questions why you haven't cut out the tongues of your servants so that they don't speak.
😆
Least sociopathic Imperial noble
And it isn't even out of malice or annoyance. She's genuinely confused. It's completely normal to her. It's like the equivalent of asking "Why don't you give the waiter a tip here?"
Once you tell her that
People need their tongues to speak
She's like
"Oh shit-"
uh, what? I thought you said she questioned it on the basis that it was so they didn't speak
It's more like you have to explain that people talking is needed for them to
Do their job and communicate to each other instead of staying silent like a servant.
Cause the jobs of being in a ship and a rich servant is different
Oh, sure
Then again, she also didn't really think about it until you prompt her.
The governor in Titanicus (I can't remember his name) is alright if I recall. Probably the only noble I can point to that's full good. Oh and Chass from Necropolis, dying to help save the hive.
It's like how a kid sees their parents fight
And think it's completely normal
Until they go into another person's home
That type of shit
Aren't some nobles who join the Guard alright?
My impression is they're either egotistical assholes, or trying to escape all the political fuckery
no in-between
Guard as in soldier yeah?
Others it’s because your family hates you, you want out, ect.
On Cadia as an example if you’re a noble family and you don’t send any children to the guard
It’s seen as dereliction of duty
The Royal Volpone regiments are all nobles and they're all assholes. Plus the population that they can tithe is being depleted hard because only nobles can serve in the regiments
Yeah the volpones are an example of a regiment of all nobles who are dicks lol
they also get fancy armor and equipment
Ventrillian nobles are another example
Of a guard regiment who are all nobles
They’re in it for the glory
And their homeworld bribes the administratum to send them to more
preferable warzones
They even have to resort to recruiting female nobles now and there's some assholes that aren't very happy about that
they already are
the worst type of snotty rich people
Fuck Sturm
LOL
yeah Sturm is a hatesink
the volpones are extremely competent
in like
pretty much every depiction
the type where their bark matches their bite
they are rich asshole snobs
they think they're better
(they are better a lot of the time)
And they act like they're better
the ones you cant even hate?
lmao
*justifiably
they're just competent at whats considered an extremely grueling job
LOL
Like yeah they're being snobbish assholes but you literally just saw one crawl through a minefield for fun
so
💀
Honestly kinda badass. I like it.
The part of them being forced to use female nobles because they're depleting all their men is actually a nice way to write in women into the guard that doesn't feel contrived, too.
tbh thats because their tradition was men only
until it stopped being sustainable
on some worlds its just send everyone
"They're an asshole, but they also just 360 noscoped a giant Carnifex with a lascannon"
Sure. What I'm saying is realistically the tradition should be mostly men. Male expendability and all that.
So when that trend is bucked I think a good reason is nice.
The Volpones also have the whole thing of
their homeworld isn't actually
a guard world
its a industiral world
LOL
Well some of the Tanith (Rawne) even have issues with bringing women into the regiment after Necropolis because fighting was a man's job on Tanith but they aren't exactly getting any reinforcements from home anytime soon
makes you wonder why they didnt just offer more resources instead of guardsmen as their tithe
because guardsmen are part of the tithe
the Volpones just have a tradition of Noble Men only
serving in the army
Until they couldn't keep that up anymore
No I get that, but iirc the tithe is somewhat flexible
because god forbid the filthy common folk fight in the guard
It is somewhat flexible
but they want to pay that tithe of flesh and blood
the world has militant traditions
I guess.
A little odd that they relax traditions around gender before simply sending more of their industrial output to justify their decreased military output
But, not totally unbelievable
It tracks because it helps reinforce their ego
because they're famous for the quality of stuff they produce
and their regiments being highly competent
Fair
They have that old ass thinking where men fight and women manage their estates while they're gone
Their servants come with them to war too but they can't protect themselves because plebs can't carry guns even during a battle. It's a big thing at the start of Volpone Glory where a servant almost gets executed for it
So basically they're like space marine chapter serfs
actually nvm chapter serfs get guns.
I remember one fucked up a space marine pretty bad in one of the Salamander's novels with a power sword.
And they use drone things that can shoot in Spear of the Emperor
Were they servo-skulls? I really need to read that book again
prolly servo skulls
Happy Halloween

Y'know this actually creeped me out
Also I reread some of the IDW comics
Specifically the ones starting from 2005
I think it's interesting how Megatron actually started out
First as a MINER (GRRR MINERS-)
Then as actually a poet and writer
It's gonna sound pretentious, but it is definitely commentary. Megatron was a proficient writer and speaker.
With Optimus's ideals in the IDW comics coming from his original writings.
But not enough people listened to his ideas.
So he changed his philosophy, and instead of words and oration.
It quickly became bullets and murder.
Megatron felt like he had to turn to violence to actually inspire change.
what does auric mean in the context of 40k lore?
"Auric" means "gold"
Nothing they are just called basically gold missions because apparently doing them is very hard
And your survival rate is about as low as getting shot in the head with an armor piercing round
Essentially the missions that only the Elite warband members are actually capable of doing
Really, the Auric operatives are basically those elite members.
they are just operatives that are good yeah
when we take an auric mission, are we auric operatives? or are we just rejects still punching way above our weight
every single auric operative is a reject that has proven their worth by the way we are no longer rejects when we hit level 30 we are inquisitorial acolytes the lowest rank in the inquisition
By level 30, even though you may not feel it from the context of your higher ups, you basically are elites in the warband
thank ya!
Still fodder in the grand scheme of things, but you're not as expendable as other fodder
You are a proven fodder
just like a guardsman veteran
That's basically what we are
we are now competent veterans
Honestly I love that they made it so our characters slowly prove their worth throughout the main story
Aura(ic)
At least we are valued enough to attempt to be evacuated with the Karnak Twins
My first run-in with those bastards was as part of a 4 Ogryn team.
We just bullied them and took their Thrones.
The daemonhost getting slapped to death by 4 ogryns:
Ah Emperor glazer not knowing the lore, classic
It is genuinely an insane claim that the emperor would not approve of humans treating humans like shit
Like that is such an out of touch confusing stance
my moral compass going out the window as soon as God Emperor My Little Dark Age edit plays

I agree with this, i just want vulkan back😔
Bro i used to enslave fucking everything when I played fallout 3
any unattended persons or children got enslaved when I got my hands on the mesmetron
"being evil is wrong!" shouldn't make so much money then
I would literally kill 37 thousand orphans to experience one lifetime as an aeldari corsair
gay pirate
imperium cuck mindset, literally praising being useless cannon fodder who's only purpose in life is dying so his planetary governor looks like their doing their job
being a human in the Imperium is pure, concentrated dogass
run away to the t'au so you can merely be treated like shit (massive upgrade)
Join chaos for the upgrade possibilities
Would it be better than Tau tho
I have a question about the Eldar Faction. Can they detect Warp disturbance, such as a space vessel coming out of the Warp and how far can they detect it?
Yes, and pretty far, no hard numbers, so go with what feels right.
Yes they are a psionically gifted race
Human psykers can feel ships exit the warp.
Eldar are better psykers than humans.
So they would feel it more intensely, and at a farther distance.
they could detect emmesh eating a banana
Only if you are a good champion.
but anybody could detect that with how loudly he slurps those
What do you think would be a conspiracy theory in the 40k milky way galaxy
Like an in-universe one

i can hear it all the way from here
maybe that the golden throne is just a chair
so the emperors just dead sitting on a normal throne, and the high lords just using some fancy machine to keep people obedient
just a thought
Lord Solar Macharious is still alive
Is there any lore on what kind of food human auxiliaries/civs are given in the tau empire?
They get the same food as the Tau iirc
It's this
Rare phenomenon
Called "actual food"
Blows the mind of any Gue'la
To be specific. I think T'au food is described as mainly Asian style food
Noodles, rice, even bread.
I think they even eat burritos
Although a solid negative is that T'au food is apparently vegetarian
So no meat
Since they might have evolved form herbivores
Although I can imagine a meat option being offered since a lot of other races would want it
Second class citizens or no. Money is money.

Also Alcohol
The T'au can get drunk also
So yeah you would be definitely get healthier and more flavorful metals in an average T'au world
Gotcha, thx guys
Compared to the Imperium which would probably just offer you tasteless rations
Well tasteless if you're lucky

Tasteless rations do indeed make an appearance in the first Ciaphas Cain novel lol
Gue'la losing their shit going from tasteless Imperium rations to instant ramen
There are some spicy instant noodle flavors that make my tongue melt
So imagine going from completely rasteless
To spicy flavored instant noodles

Like shoving a jar of promethium into someone's mouth
"How come you human auxiliaries are so offended by the term 'gue'la' when you say it amongst yourselves all the time? 'Gue'la this, gue'la that, can a gue'la borrow some ramen?' How in the name of the greater good can a gue'la borrow some ramen? Gue'la, is you gonna give it back???"
i wish i could find a higher quality pic
this is certainly an image
...You have now made an impact on my character lore - my radical Inquisitor steals spicy instant ramen from the T'au empire lol...
just because he likes the taste.
(Funnily enough he does have his tech preist check it for poisoning/chemical agents etc. before ingesting)
Are there any regiments that doesnt treat the average guardsman like dirt and actually fights strategically?
Elysian
Uhhh
Vostroyan
Tbh their lives are still dirt
Imperial command doesnt care about regimental culture
But comparatively
You mean the higher command above the regimental command right?
Yeah but mostly their commanding officers as well
the Imperial Guard isnt really some heroic duty
you are there to die and do your job
A sad job
Meanwhile Gaunt be caring for his men like an absolute chad.
The general in Wrath of Iron was pretty decent too, (stupidly) disobeying direct orders from the Iron Hands because he thought they were leading his men on a suicide mission, which it did end up being
For the guard
🫡
That book was my first time reading anything to do with the Iron Hands and it made me hate them. In a good way though
Then they meet someone they like like this human is not as weak as the others let's turn him into a robot
bro i was just doing my job
The ending of Wrath of Iron was something else.
"But we helped you liberate the planet"
"Fucken die"
Touché. Not even killing one in every three imperial citizens in the sector because they may be tainted by Slaanesh, just as a lesson against complacency
Truly a grim dark ending
I love Chris Wraight's books. The ones I've read anyway
no
that is the only correct answer
everybody in the guard is expendable to a comical degree
What about strategic fighting?
what do you mean
the guard fights strategically in the 40k logic
The largely "nice" brotherhood aspect comes from your fellow soldiers/guardsman too.
The most content I see about 40k guard is about how they fight on atrition mostly, just throwing men at the meat grinder
Also, are all of the psyker personalities in the game are sanctioned psykers?
that's what they do on a large scale yeah. but that doesn't mean they aren't being strategic about it
it's just that most enemies of the imperium can only be fought using attrition
Yea it's a meat grinder, but it's not like human wave of "oh the last detachment all died, send in 10 thousand more men to do the same thing again"
that's valhallans 😎
A bunch of the books talk about the technical strategic aspects a bit, from "We can't advance without artillery cover" to "We need air support to cover our transport column incase of attack"
What about tyranids and necrons? How do the guard tackles them?
tyranids are the definition of attrition
Hm
and necrons, well guard just lose lol
In those cases Guard usually dig in and establish positions while engaging in fighting withdrawals until reinforcements arrive that are able to deal with the issue
Can they handle an incursion with just guard reinforcements? Or are there instances of this?
Like Deamon incursion ?
Sorry for not clarifyin
and if there are no reinforcements, they will engage in "strategic" last stands to allow for the extraction of more vital resources
necrons rarely have to fight protracted wars on big fronts
The general idea is to gather enough corpses to hopefully clog the gears on whatever is attacking
Or on the off chance blow them up with a healthy helping of artillery and armour
Be a human shield for the guy with the melta while he kills them
The stock guardsmen are straight up nothing but fodder
Sad
and just in case you are curious
orks just focus on overpowering the guard most of the time but they are beatable and armageddon is holding together for the most part thanks to the guardsmen
orks simply most of the time just throw everything they have at you until you break or day do but that's the problem they don't fight consistently
One time you can be fighting a vehicle focused ork wwwaaaaggghhh that favor fast vehicles and flyers just tearing everything apart or they could be focused on infantry hordes that will crush you beneath their boot
human ork wave tactics..
So between generations klan fighting styles can change?
Damn didnt know that
Yes and they could also mix because one war boss could lead more
and especially it's dangerous when the war boss is smart
Also, is there a difference between a warboss or a warlord?
warboss leads a small army and a decent size fleet
a warlord can lead multiple clans and multiple fleets no issue
yes though in his case he would be the war boss and those beneath him would be the big boss
Yep, we see in Outgunned that when they bring in the air force to deal with primitive Orks, the Orks eventually start copying them and building planes of their own. Turning the theatre into an air war.
What are the fighters against orks in that story?
Oh yeah by the way they can make a Titan powered by steam
Yeah figured these out by the hellsreach
Peak
Aeronautica Imperialis who are working in conjunction with Astra Militarum forces
I was fuckin surprised when they built titans on a planet they were stranger to and in relatively short time
No I think my sentence came out wrong, I meant which fighting force was against the orks
Which regiment?
Like generally?
I don't think the aeronautica have formal regiments/squadrons
They were the 2208
One sec
But like there's not a lot about them because the story doesn't focus on the regiment really
Oh
It's mostly about von Shard, the regiments star fighter ace
That sums it up
Yeah and the POV character is a propogandist plus it's in first person
Orks are actually as or more intelligent than humans tbh
It's just their intelligence is unguided, they have poor impulse control and all their impulses are destructive
2 hours
Kind of but not really
Their intelligence very much depends individually
Theres a reason the "smart" orks rise to the top while the others stay in the dirt
most of the time they are just very simple brained brutes and thugs
smart orks are the few that learn other skills outside of killing you with a weapon or their bare hands
Is that just cuz they have no impulse control or cuz they're actually dumb? I would argue the former.
Sure. Their smartest have a kind of savant syndrome tbh.
no they are very dumb because they have devolved over the years and are a sufficient race therefore didn't really bother how to learn stuff just the simple basics
the bigger orks are the smarter they are
Pretty sure this is only partly true and a lot also just depends on what kind of innate preference they're born with.
no height and size is literally their power that's why krorks were smart
but they got devolved because they didn't have anything good to fight and eldar just didn't fight them just use their super weapons on them every time they tried to
therefore they got smaller and smaller and we have modern day orks
the knowledge is embedded in their dna
they have natural instincts on how to do their job not because they are smart enough to do it
But of course they do get better as time goes on
That's a semantic difference tbh
Is having an innate understanding of things not intelligence?
As I said it's like savant syndrome
Is literally lore the bigger ones are smarter
That's not what I replied to....
I also already acknowledged that, I said it's "partly true"
OK take this idiot that literally bites rocks because he's dumb but you gave him the ability to build a nuclear reactor out of instinct
would you consider him smart
or just relying on instincts
In a certain capacity yes it's intelligence. It's just very narrow and specific... Like savant syndrome
Intelligence requires both the capacity to learn and the ability to use that learning effectively. An uneducated instinct alone does not constitute intelligence
an ork mekboy will get better because that's just natural with experience but he's purely learning through instinct not through reading books
as time goes on he's just basically refining his instincts
Never forgiving drukhari
HOW ARE DRUKHARI ALREADY RELEASINF

HOW IS COMBAT PATROL KRIEG OUR
woah easy mags
i know it's unfortunate but that's GW
yes yes i know it's unfortunate
If both were out I wouldn’t care
The guy at gw delaying everything I like specifically by a month
i might get the chaos dwarfs box next weekend if they still have it at the local GW store
KINDA HYPED
they are goated
but if its out of stock its not the end of the world
oh it's gonna be almost definitely out of stock
i want to show the guy in the wh store my EC test model
theyre pure ultra chads
Urak Tarr is pure aura farming
yeah he is, i love that bronze paintjob too
Dominator engines my beloved
Your getting released before spitewood

Oh
Wait bruh why they releasing Drukhari and Morvenn Vahl book at the same time
Think of my wallet
It's about to be tortured like a dark eldar slave
Also I forgive drukhari im more mad at krieg now
I wonder what the eldar symbol for like love/family/weddings/etc etc is
I’d like to make a formal apology to dark eldar players ( @rocky gale ) spitewood was delayed for the warhammer worlds underworlds torm
lmao owned
I didn’t even notice that it was having an event
I will still spite krieg players
They really should just be a Cadia reskin
Fix bayonets
I'm sorry but your wallet is gonna feel like it's getting punched by an ironjaw
harlequins can be played w both reg eldar and dark right
I think they can be taken in any Eldar detachment
and Drukhari
and Drukhari can also take Corsair units
i assume it also has the same only 500 point limit for allied units aswell or
For Drukhari it's the allied limits for Corsair and Harlequins, for Eldar I don't think there's a limit
But I don't play Eldar so not sure
Grounding wire looking a
Only thing they're shielding from is bitches with that colour scheme
i have seen better coloring on a brain damage fent folding street crawling velociraptor
Honestly the coloration of the light colors goes hard
also
makes them much more brighter than the other chapters
Are you Argentinian Maggie?
theyare also fanatical about the codex
its like if there was a space marinec hatper that looks like the flag of turkey
also im really really fond of the ultra symbol
Hold on
arent they form the inquisitiongame
Storm Wardens
my bad
The Storm Wardens are a Space Marine Chapter of an unknown Founding, famed for their tribal nature and heavy assaults.[1a]
i got stormwardens mixed up with the storm hammers and storm shields and storm walkers
Heavy scottish and celtic influence
3 things named tomb world releasing within the year crazy
he made this so was this good or no
Oh yeah well this is like the talent of the symbaresh twinsoul in champions of chaos
very funny i know
learning its only 250 aswell
250pts for 1000pt game and 500pts for a 2000pt game
i completely forgot it changes depending on how many overall points
Gotta love it when people who barely know anything on the lore tell you you're wrong on something
wait
eldar
have
the army percentage rule nromally??
not attached to a random terrible detachment?
Only drukhari
For corsairs and clowns
another GSC L i suppose
fair
Reapers Wager is like our strongest detachment though
But the new Kablite one looks real fun
Reapers wager is def the strongest
I think Skysplinter is second
Kabalite one looks strong on paper to me but I’m not a drukhari player
Dunno how strong it will actually be in play, but it looks fun and I'm going to try it out.
Argentine marines
really excited for this book because triarch praetorians are so under used
outside of mentions and maybe a couple pages of dialogue we haven't seen too much
glad we're getting a book about one
Also if I remember correctly the main character of the book is a female necron
Which is like a surprising because a female necron is like uncommon
The earlier triarch praetorians we saw their leader was a woman iirc
There's a bunch of crypteks that are women as well
they're probably equal in number it's just the books don't show that
True
Ayoooo I guess I found what I'm reading next
just following orders
Are there any kinds of similar cases with other chaos factions like the tzaangors of tzeentch's?
Pestigor
Khorngor
Slaangor
Also does imperium ever use autoguns for one of their armed forces?

Yeah, even the guard use them sometimes/some regiments like them
PDFs commonly use them
So I got to ask, but when the Catachan get updated, will they get their own combat patrol?
I mean probably?
CONSULT THE BIRDS
Imagine if imperial guard get 3 combat patrols a year?
Cadian, Krieg and Catachan.
Or would that be too much.
Huh, what do you know
Didnt think the guard would use them commonly
It’s not as common as las weapons
Since mainly on posters they are shown with lasgun
But some regiments use them as their primary weapon
Also funnily enough
For the new Cadians
You can see the sgt has one
As an option
autogun for sergeant has been a thing for a bit
drum fed autogun or whatever it's called
it has rapid fire
There’s also a belt fed one lol
On the upgrade sprue
But yeah the guard uses autoguns for a variety of reasons
Such as?
Want to use special issue ammo, they’re poor, it’s what they got, the regiment likes them
autoguns can shoot very fast like the one sergeant uses
I find the ingame autogun and ilas pretty similar
Also yeah autoguns are good for suppressing people
Or causing terror
Some regiments use terror tactics
And an autogun is a lot louder + scarier
Wouldnt lasguns be effective by just vaporizing arms and legs?
Hm
Krieg should have just been an upgrade sprue
Sometimes when you’re putting down a rebellion
Doesn’t work
Their coats are too fucky
Same with steel legion
Do they neeedddd coats
no
Yes
Also there’s specialized autogun rounds designed to cause more suffering
Stuff like bleeder rounds
I like guard upgrade sprues unironically

Maybe they do an iron legion one for the krieg kits
Also in some environments autoguns are better
Also autogun/stubber rounds can ricochet or pierce, the Lasgun aren't gonna do thst
Tons of fog and sand or dust can lead to less effective lasgun range
they wont because only 3 regiments get acknowledged
Does lasguns have something like a special energy pack?
also it's steel legion mag
🍿
or iron guard
Which are the equivalent to guard man stopper rounds
Well rhe fuck ass melted metal ones, uhhhh, catachan, should be an upgrade sprues
What do they do?
…. Which one is it?
Better power yield
Allow for better armor piercing
Wait saw the message now
The Armageddon one
iron guard are the parade dress guys
Steel legion is Armageddon
Okay yeah steel legion
steel legion are the half face gas mask with goggles and mustard yellow trench coats
Gw naming at its finest
There are also special lenses for various shooting, but only one is legal
Yeah
Generally autoguns have a lot more weird and exotic munitions designed for them
Mostly due to how it’s easier to design a bullet
And Autogun is more likely to be thing the new recruit know how to uss
Compared to Lasgun
i dont think regular regiments would use modified autoguns like that
Not often
Modified rounds sure
generally lasguns are seen as more professional for whatever reason
they are basically AK47s so
Then you use an autogun
Lasguns are better mostly
They’re more lethal per shot
In theory
Dilara joined in
autopistols are not seen as worse than laspistols so find it weird
Hate Vostroya for what they did to the lasgun
Well who can be an upgrade sprues then
It’s an heirloom
same thing
Cadian lookalike regiments
Indigan praefects for gsc minis
Because gsc wants one and it’s in the most over priced kit known to man
Lol
Curse of Killteam
Cadians use standard gear
Ultimately
So a lot of regiments look kind of similar
There’s some unique cadian stuff
"unique"
The guard walkers
the chicken
a bubba mosin can be an heirloom doesn't mean it's safe from criticism😭
Idk why I thought like “that’s the worst name for a tank it sounds just like the walker”
💀
It came to my mind about the sentinels, can they modify a sentinel to hold 2 weapons at the same time?
Yes
Nice
they already do no?
I didnt see on dow and on any mod
Gw pls release gsc krieg art
Dont know about miniatures
But yeah the cadian sentinel is uparmored and has an autocannon lol

resin
Give GSC an ULM plane or rudimentary helicopter
Just port over old gyrocopter models
there's already the shitty minivan
they could use that
That's not flying though
How does it use the yellow bombs ? Missiles ?
space minivan
Isnt that like 5?
Not like what I want though
that's a custom model
it's industrial
It’s a kitbash
White Dwarf stuff ?
it's 2 meters off the ground
Under the whole someone’s homebrew that’s now canon
peak dwarven tech
Not the art showcase stuff
Which is its own category
But generally the place where you can shove another gun on a sentinel
Is used for a utility tool
Like smoke/grenade launchers, a chainsaw, lights, a sensor
Ect.
iirc, that's a chaos sentinels with chemical weapons
I bet if I downed a 12 pack of the 40k equivalent of Monster Energy, I could solo a Forgefiend with my meltagun
I
I think im him
give this man to the schola progenium NOW
Maybe I forgor
Green taurox
Sorry, it's a while since I played Darktide, but do we have access to smoke grenades?
yea
Yeah
Don't think we have known Chaos sentinels
Vets got them
Right Blitz on Vet
We know traitor guard can have them
Anyways drink this
It’s good for you
(Probably)
Yes but specific Chaos pattern
Because I'm wondering if we should be able to use chemical weapons against Nurgle cultists.
The kitbash is labeled as a chemical assault sentinel
Used by traitor guard
So I’d assume the pattern exists already
The traitors just stole it for themselves
it's cheaper to fill you with caffeine than let you sleep healthy hours
i bet there's even some motivation pills in there
It’s not even caffeine
That shit is expired assasinorum frenzon
With other additives
To make it palatable
Basically Meth and other drugs
idk what's funnier
the idea that the assassinorum has enough leftover frenzon to feed entire guard regiments
Tbh expired drugs can be anything from literal poison to less effective
Or worthless
Yeah, as Acolytes/Arbites, should we get chemical weapons.
Bro give me this, a carapace chest plate, and a munitorum issue meltagun, and there isnt a foe i can't take
I’m sure
i can't think of any chem weapons on tabletop for guard or arbites
Banewolf?
Why not
Guard has the banewolf
that's a fucking vehicle
Is VX gas not grimdark?
It shoots chemical weapons
it's a tank
not something you can have in darktide
They were awful
But you could pay a pretty penny to gas your own dudes as krieg
Or lost and the damned

unironically it's too grimdark
so they instead go with corrosive green gas
bruh
or that type of shit
Well
Nerve agents are a thing in 40K
You just don’t see them represented in rules
because invisible gas that kills you with less than a milliliter of exposure is too depressing
Tbf, I'm surprised no one has made chemical version of a flamer for the guard.
But the imperiums chemical weapons are under represented on the tabletop
It’s all in lore
Like the banewolfs chem sprayer?
Would be cool
it's not used that often
Yeah
like cadia doesn't use any during its fall
Yeah, like a little handheld version.
a pressure washer with acid
But upon thinking about it, wouldn't chemical weapons empower the nurgle cultists in darktide?
No
no?
It’s not a disease
^
well
nurgle astartes on Vraks did freebase the gas very explicitly
I thought that's why the Imperium stopped using virus bombs.
Because it empowered Nurgle.
they still use virus bombs
nurgle cant resist virus bombs
they literally devour all living matter
then it's all blown up
the chemical weapons Nurgle warband
the blowing up part is what really kills
Huh. TIL, there is something like the zapper glove from Fallout in 40k.
*Zap Glove.
A Shock Glove is a type of Imperial Shock Weapon. Shock gloves are a range of devices that fit over one’s hands
and allow a person to electrify others with a mere touch.
They run the gamut from bulky and obvious machines
that glow ominously and occasionally spew forth clouds
of smoke or steam to subtle micro-weave circuits hidden
in seemingly ...
has there ever been a less relevant war than the spinward front

biochem sucks but its better than chem
what's the difference
I wonder why Jesse continued to sell meth even when he was making millions just cooking it
He definitely felt guilty doing it. I feel he did it to "break even"
am i stupid? is there no lone pairs in cyclophophamide
Never about the money for him and he was under contract
before gus jesse had to do all the selling of the operation
I feel his greed partially rubbed off on Walter
dude walter is the greedy one
Now gus is doing it all
Jesse was lonely and Walter was taking advantage of him
Also I think Jesse was just disenfranchised by the real world
His parents treated him like a failure and his only real experience in looking for a job was humiliating
this is true also. the scene where he tries to get a job at a bank with his actual skills and he gets rejected for not having a degree
It very much is all Walt's fault in the end yeah, hes a wildcard that literally ruined everything. What Mike tells to him as hes sitting and dying sums up the entire ordeal very well
Oh I get it. Walts greed rubbed off on jesse. But I think Walt nearly settled with that operation until Jess complained to him about how they weren't getting the full profit from their meth cooking.
Nah
Walt would have thought it himself sooner or later
He hates being catered to or ordered around
he has a unchecked ego
Jesse unironically did nothing wrong
The entire show would be innocent if Walter didnt do what he did
"You are a millionaire and you're complaining?"
my hopeful ending is that jesse ended up going to college after disappearing up north
Selling meth to people in rehab?
I bet he did
and becoming a successful businessman
he's literally the only good ending story in the entire show
Didn't he not do that but he entered rehab with the intention
And then confessed
saul only gets a bittersweet ending where he stops running from his problems
but he's at least alive
and he's rightfully paying for his crimes he did
not that i support the prison system but as a character he deserves it
He entered with the intention of selling meth....that's pretty bad but his confession shows he still has a strong conscience. I love that about him. Still human underneath.
Man thinking about it he's beyond traumatized
Well yeah but that means he didn't do it
The only bad thing Jesse did was not shoot Walter and burn down his house
Though I'm not sure if I would say he did nothing wrong....
he wasn't a bad person deep down. he was always a good kid but was misguided
What about his children????
They weren't home
That was there home.
They'd still lose their home lol
his family would have supported it lol

jesse the type of guy to give them 5 million in cash
His family moved out of the house because of how painful it was to be attached to a drug lord who had stashes in there
something he's already done
because he feels guilt unlike every other BB character
Dude listen I relate heavily to Flynn(walt jr) in having a dysfunctional family and I would not want to come home and find my house has been set on fucking fire by a meth head my fathers partnered with.

Yeah but they abandoned the house anyways after Walter is what im saying
Along with all my belongings gone
They didnt like that house
walt jr isn't aware of the drugs until the last season
I'm more worried about the kids
Tbh
Home or not home it ain't right and it wouldn't solve anything
Also they fully moved out of the house by the time Jesse tried to burn it down im pretty sure
Moved out? Are you sure that wasn't just a hotel
walt would literally have helped his family more by dying after season 1
that's kind of the point of the show
he never did it for his family
I'm positive that they signed into a hotel
it was all for himself
Well I think at around that point the DEA moved the family no?
he if you can believe it; broke bad
Shortly after Jesse worked with Hank
i think they say breaking bad like 2 times in the show?
Say that again
Yeah only 2 times lmao

What are we, some kinda breaking bad?
i get why because its such a fucking goofy term
I never get tired of those jokes lol they're so stupid
Anyway. I think it began as something noble than quickly evolved into something else. Though the innocence slips away very...quickly.
it was never noble
walt literally admits at the last season
why do people never fucking listen
The imperial fists fandom is dying. Repost this if you love fisting
I know
It started noble in his head, but he eventually realised it wasnt by the end
I watched the series 3 times over I know whats said in the end.
i doubt it even was
It deffo was
3 times is rookie numbers
Walt didnt know he had that DOG in him until the end
BABY
BLUE

Hes schleeping w his eyes open...
Lmao
Yeah Walter turned desperation into an ego trip its crazy
Dude was unhinged
when you can identify even half of the random songs used in BB you are starting to be a fan
hes just your average 40k fan
we should wish we were as good as him
Jesse is an age of sigmar fan
