Just had a friend say teleportation sounds fun
You see if there are less people then the number of starving people goes down
I don’t even do that in an RTS I just spam long range artillery and hope it works
Yeah bro, lemme just toss you into this
depends what kind
If it's 40k, no
If it's the type that atomizes you and then rebuilds you
They meant in 40K
Too bad halving the population also halves the number of farmers
That sounds disturbing
And finally
If it's the Jaunt
Yeah that actually does sound neat
We really don’t get enough failures of that type
Like the only reason why the kid went crazy is because he decided to not take the
fucking sleeping pill
Like bro, if you just take the pill and have a nice nap
It's literally just teleportation
The Jaunt is only a horror story because one person decided to be a dumbass
What about the teleport flares the fucking
Grey Knights use?
The what
Can I have and idea of it shorter than 16 google doc pages
TLDR; Basically two portals are set up.
You go in there while asleep
You come back on the other end. Allows people to teleport from Earth to Mars within minutes.
But apparently the time dilation between realms makes the short distance feel like eternity '
So they solve it by simply putting you to sleep
and then you wake up from the nap in your destination.
Happens instanteously in real time
But in whatever realm inbetween, it lasts an eternity
Right
I suggest you read the story though, it's pretty good
It also partly inspired Emesis blue animation
Yeah it makes it more accurate, and they’ve mastered it, but it’s still dangerous
Still exposes you to the warp for a few seconds
What about the Stephen King story where the guy survived a plane crash, gets stranded on an island and eats his own legs?
What does loner psyker mean when they say 'by the five' when they are using venting shriek?

In this weeks video, we're exploring some of the best ways to build and paint warhammer 40k knights as time efficient as possible. Is it even possible to complete and finish it in less than 8 hours? I guess we'll find out!
___...
knights>titans
Titans are overrated as fuck so i agree
What's the baneblade variant that can kill titans?
And Doomhammers in smaller capacities
What
Good question
I haven't slept in way too long and I can feel my brain cells dying
Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress is a board game released by Games Workshop in 2018. It puts you in the heart of an unfolding mystery in the 41st Millennium. Working with your friends, you’ll use your wits to battle right to the heart of an ancient citadel, pursuing hidden agendas and attempting to discover its secrets. Using a system of p...

:0

I just realised that blood moon's pfp wasn't a weird monster from that digital circus show
I just realised that wasn't Sid the Sloth in the middle of yours
Arcane ye
Potato potato
Sid the sloth is canon to Aliens
no

damn okay I just might now
im waiting for it to be fully out atm
i cant bare cliffhangers
I've only seen one clip from it and it's an Alien pretending to be a statue to mess with people, it looked so peak
I keep going back to gene father the relistening the the trial of cawl
his argument is so fucking good
it feels like a scene from Better Call Saul
its literally nothing but "UM, AKSHUALLY TECHNICALLY- 🤓 "
meanwhile his opposition is like:
Cawls absolutely right about all his arguments but man if Frank knew about fucking kqov. Cawl would probably be dead
Dudes got skeletons in his closet too bad frank looking in the wrong closet
Been thinking about running a 40k tabletop game, probably Rogue Trader if anything, and I was thinking about potential characters:
Are nanites a thing in the Mechancius? Or is that more Necron tier tech?
Because a mechanicus dude who is completely made of nanites, typically assuming a fully 'human' shape but completely able to morph his arms into fuuucking bolters or chainweapons sounds fun
Yes
The mechanicus, tau, dark eldar and Necrons
All have nanite tech
But like, the swarm style
I was inspired by 'Bloodshot', a film about a dude who is bascially exactly what I'm describing lol
Entirely yes.
Every single form of technology exists in 40k
All of it.
The most advanced shit you can just pass off as "dark age lost tech" or whatever
This though is abit more harder.
Not even that
He'd need to be someone either extremely high ranking to be untouchable politically, if its like someone low/mid ranking you'd have yourself completely harvested by your peers to find the root of this great technology or just get blasted apart for being an abomination.
Id suggest making them a heretek
perfect excuse after they get infused
Based
especially if they are in a Rogue Trader thing
literally the game form for misfits lol
I was mulling with the idea of him being some Necron Phariah type
Like just a metal robot?
But capable of the morphing thing, more organic feeling
Probably couldn't do the whole 'cloud' style reformation
Phariahs were like, living metal+ right?
Nah
they are literally just humans turned to necrons
all necrons are living metal since they are made from necrodermis
but it isnt really like nanomachines
If he was Necron based Id go with some liquid metal style shit
Straight out of terminator
If hes necron based that kinda goes more into mary sue territory
you are basically making like a super OP member
Oh this wouldn't be a serious game, if Im including this guy as an NPC necron
when you make characters that can have essentially superpowers like this it raises the question of "why are they even bothering hanging out/helping anyone"

The mechanicus idea is more what I'd feature in a serious game
A dark mechanicus dude who maintains an image of humanity but is actually corrupting the RT under the PCs noses
He gets caught out and just fuuucking morphs into his true form ala some daemon shit
so like
why doesn't he just do some daemon shit
https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Obliterator_Virus check this shit out
The Obliterator Virus is what makes a Chaos Obliterator from a Chaos Space Marine.
Tbh thats kinda the thing with chaos
you can make up any nonsense
since its just eldritch magic bullshit lol
a more controllable power like the one mentioned above cna also work
Well I'd probably be going for a Man of Iron route
Like the apex of human form and technology in one being
Mans too prideful to be relying on daemons
yeah that's fair
The 'true form' is something I'd have to work out, it wouldn't be visually daemonic
Probably more like the fuuuucking Iron Giant attack mode lmao
Except its all morphing into shape out of a cloud of nanites
but yeah the mechanicus does make some use of nanites but it's generally like
pretty modest
Tiny doctor bots from what I've seen in books so far
Cleaning blood streams and the like
yarp
the mechanicus has an aesthetic going on, the T-1000 look doesn't really smoothly fit in with it
not that you should let that dissuade you
I thinking this guy would be mechanicus/heretek with ties to dark mechanicus. Like the origins of the nanite body is something I'ma have to think about, but following the lines of 'early life mechanicus, later heretek/dark mechanicus into present RT game' seems simple enough
What are dark mechanicus's deal?
They just don't like Big E?
's complicated
there's a good novel that covers the schism
i forget the name of it though
you're welcome
that aside, essentially the dark mechanicum sided with horus, the mechanicus sided with the emperor
and which side a given tech priest found themselves on wasn't entirely down to who they wanted to side with, but also like
"well the emperor wants to make it illegal to do the stuff i've spent my entire life researching and also he wants me to lobotomize my robot buddy, so i guess i'm with horus"
only good faction is iron warriors
How did magnus fall to chaos?
Man made a lotta mistakes
Tsons primarch
Lmao its alright
so the emperor told magnus "don't use your powers" and then magnus used his powers a LOT
Ik the destruction of his homeworld contributed to it too
essentially a lot of the horus heresy could have been averted if the emperor wasn't being such a cagey weirdo about his motivations and orders
The Dark Mechanicum, or Dark Mechanicus[7], referred to by themselves as the New Mechanicum[6b] or True Mechanicum,[20a] is a Chaos-affiliated counterpart to the Adeptus Mechanicus. Its origins trace back to those who pledged loyalty to Warmaster Horus at the end of the Great Crusade. The Dark Mechanicum serves as a dark "mirror" to their counte...
Why am I getting so invested into my characters inheritance laws for the knight household
Fair enough
you want enatic gavelkind
Trust me its very hard to write noble drama you actually care for lol
Basically the inheritance system works like this. When two knight pilots get married they have two children and those two children will each inherit one of the knight suits. Children born after those two will either be shipped off world to fulfill other roles, such as the schola or they will be tithed to the mechancus as knight pilots for questoris knights. The knight tithe is used to import knight parts and mechancus support. When the bloodline gets too stale a knight pilot will marry an offworlder and only the firstborn will inherit the knight suit. That way mutations and inbreeding can be managed.
i don't know anything about imperial knights, do they often have mutations?
I mean the population probably gets pretty inbreed just look at irl medieval noble bloodlines even things like a Habsburg jaw would be considered a mutation
humanity is pretty diverse in 40k, you generally have to get kinda out there before something is considered a mutation (unless you're in a particularly insular place)
Nope.
Its a huge no-no and taboo
its nobles at the end of the day
genetic purity is kinda the whole deal
Yeah the idea is to keep the families as close knit as possible while staving off mutations and ill effects.
I think this type of thing was even covered in kingmaker
Yep its one of the big parts in it since the main dude is an outcast noble coming home
God those inheritance laws in the book were complicated
I think I'm just gonna have branches of the families form round tables for governance and ruling. The eldest in the branch holds the seat of power
Haven't thought too much into it that far yet
its been like 1 Millennia since its fall iirc
It's already been 1k jesus
Things move quick
I thought I'd only been 45 years max or something
To be fair
we are perpetually gonna be stuck in M42 for like a good few years
so dont worry too much i think lol
cant wait for next edition of HH where they release a 350 dollar box set of mark 1 power armor and rhinos (shitpost)
It’s gona be MK4
I bet
lol
im starting to enjoy pancreas's videos
or at least till they release everything
i now know about the halo timeline
feels like we are getting closer to the end
We’re staying in M.42 forever
how old is the current mark 5 power armor kit?
mark 5 is only in resin
2 years older then the current MK4 kit
and they're all sold out afaik
mark 4*
Yeah
sorry lol
ah
So like 20 IRL years
Or 8
mk4 is so old it's still firstborn stunty
we got time
they primaris'd the mk 3 onwards
*Nuscale
shhhh
shatap nerd
no
No dreams allowed please stop doing that
wwhats a vehicle space marien fans have gas lit htem selves into liking uhhhhh
Are you ok?
The Hunter
No one actually likes it
THE HUNTERRR

What’s the awful stormcast sculpt
Abby can get his thumb out his ass
(nothing has changed)
With like
i was gonna sya ladn speeder
The really overly ornate trim
Clonegrim can try to come back
It’s like that for stormcast players
knight vexilator?
Yes
He has years ago
I think
vexillor*
Also Abby is doing shit
He isnt coming back
oh my god
can people stfu about clonegirm
or hte flying one uh
Sometimes I wish the dude who wrote about Clonegrim did his original plan
Which was
Clonegrim got torn apart and eaten
Like Jesus Christ
LET A MAN DREAM
lol
Clonegrim is literally jus ta plot device
Stop dreaming
what the fuck is a loyalist fulgrim gonna do
clonegrim had to be somewhere to begin with to be able to come back
you do realise we got actual slop loyalist primarchs coming back right
Not even loyalist fulgrim
who gives a shit
YES ONE I LIKE
it's a primarch!!!!
russ or dorn are next
KNGIHT VENATOR
ferrus manus is coming
Yes that one
God
That one is awful lol
If you say you like the sculpt you’re absolutely lying
It’s so over designed and not in a good way
your mom should have eaten you
Just saying if he was named noone would care that hes this awful lmao
It was in the air and I took it
hey wolf i know halo lore now
I have standards/hj
lemme see actually
and i hate precursors now
lol
"oh tyeah of course the guy who 360 head shot jonny nurgle drinker would have the awesome bird"
ye
also i never knew when playing reach that i was playing peak
the heda is awesome tho i wanan give it to a custom character
were getting world eaters, thousand sons, and more death guard.
i should boot up the old xbox 360
Individually each bit is fine
After that Black templars, Salamanders
In total it’s too much
so Vulcan may actually come back
Determines if we are actually gonna still be around to see it
tomorrow is never promised
Own Codex chapters with a living dad first
Then we’ll see where it goes from there
TLDR Russ next
Then Dorn prolly because BT
And IF get the cuck chair
But maybe GW will do something different lol
what
My bet for the next edition horus heresy box
HH hunter rhino, mark 4, Tartaros Pattern Terminator Armour, andddd idk Castraferrum dread
end of this edition isbasically confirmed to be.. im blanking ont he name holy shit
For 40k? It’s not gona be russ
Loyalist primarchs are one edition on one edition off
We’re getting him next edition
Most likely
We got Lion last Ed
Chaos Primarchs are every edition
No codex, so you’re gona be waiting a while
Besides we just got vulkan
Wdym
when
Ramping accelerated scale of release
crazy that white scars are a non codex complaint founding chapter and still gets shafted
Sallies and scars are both non compliant lol
But chapters who got their own codex
Is entirely based on who got them
In 2e and 3e
bruh
I mean
It’s literally why
BA, DA, BT, and SW
Have their own codex
They just got chosen at random by someone in GW lol
Idrc
lol
Marines already get more then enough support, not every first founding chapter needs a codex
note to self: blame 2e and 3e
no one hsould be getting special treatment but what ever its tradition at this point
Salamander “fans” deserve less
fact
Kid named grand alliance order and space marines
LMAO
AM I WRONG???
Grand alliance order is by far the preferred child of AOS
And then grand alliance chaos is the second preferred child
Death being in third
And then destruction gets to eat sand
but at least prder os like 12 unique factions
holy shit im more isck than i think i cant type
That’s my point
Grand alliance order got like
4x the attention of any of the other grand alliances
And then stormcast and Lumineth within grand alliance order
Are the preferred child
stormcasts yeah but lumineth?
oh yeah thats because they are a new faction. every faction usually gets 2 major releases and hten are sent to the hero hole
Lumineth have a comically huge range
No like
When compared to other factions
Lumineth’s range is like
3x everyone else in grand alliance order
But stormcast
Lumineth were def a favorite child
For a bit
It’s impossible to deny it
14 heroes. 5 infnatry, 2 cav, 2 monsters, 1 war machine
24 warscrolls
12 heroes, 6 infantry, . 18 warscrolls for fyreslayers
Actually seraphon have a ton but they’re old
14 heroes,7 infantry, 5 cav, 2 beasts, 4 monsters
Now that I think about it
i was counting seraphon lmao
the factions based off factions from whfb usually have alot fo stuff
the blanche art?
The Blanche art was for AoS
No it doesn’t
He did AoS concept art
Like the stormcast stuff
Blanche literally did aos concept art

you can't escape
He was working for GW till like
you can never escape
And he still does consultation work
blanche iilu but your hadn writing
hey speaking of watercolor, what happened to that guy who kept posting about that thing
OOO NEVER SAW THIS ONE BEFORE
The Quar guy?
Think he got banned
i assume it is quar related
no matter the conversation, quar
always quar
literally joins the server and beelines this channel to quar
sine of stuff got 1 to 1 warhammer models its nutty
why does he have cowboy boots
It’s Idoneth, fyreslayers and one of the death factions
I think FEC?
Since he did soulblight and night haunt
It’s insane lol
think fec lmao
I’m like 99% sure it’s FEC
Because ossiarch stuff feels like I’ve seen similar artwork before
lol
i know i saw art that looksl ike ossiarhc but wasnt meant ot be ossiarhc
Damn, Blanche Stormcast and Kruleboyz
GW where’s my scribes of tzeentch in plate armor
They exist in lore and art
Gimme
Like the cursling ?
Yeah
But not a hero
I just want like a unit of 5 or 10 of em
One of the few times I disagree with AOS team, they should have made this guy a unique hero
Bro got hit with the curse of generefication
He was the only one of the mortal chaos champions to like
LMAO
Tzeentch was like ‘oh yeah, I like his curse imma reuse it’
Well in whfb it was the dudes weaker twin
Who took over his body as the tiny little creature thing
If it helps I expect alot of nurgle old world heroes to die soon
It's one of my biggest complaints about AoS, where like they'll the most detailed monopose model ever with so much characterful detail that it can literally only be constructed one way, then give it generic HQ rules and expect you to run 2/3 of them
There’s alot of them
Well they’re already in legends
Despite being alive
Since no mini
Maybe valkia will get a super cool new AoS mini

I don’t care for Nurgle so I don’t care about festus
Bloab, rotgut, morbidex, orghotts are all probably getting sent to hell
I can never watch essays on media that I like because I always end up like this 3 seconds in
Oh those fuckers
Yeah no
They’re cooked LOL
Don't tell her about the sloppity bilepiper
No that one is peak
TO BE FAIR, I’m 80% sure nurgle renamed them
they were cookin wit that one
After nurgle blessed them he was like ‘ur new reborn name is pissfiddle’
You think it can't get more on-the-nose, then GW just whips out 'Typhus'
He also got renamed by Nurgle
“Festus”
writing room in 30k
“We can’t call him fucking typhus”
"We cannot name him Typhus pre-heresy thats too obviosu"
LMFAO YEA
"Lets name him Typhon!"
"INGENIUS"
Let’s name him typhoid
Otto ethrac and ghurk, despite all having the last name fucking Glott I think kept their names
💀 💀 💀
Otto glott
Otto Glott roll out
I literally didn’t noticed they renamed him
It’s meant to be obvious
Oh also there’s a fucking DG legionary on the black books
Called Nergal
dracula spelled backwards
Horticulous slimux keeps whispering to me to start a nurgle army
He’s my favorite model in the whole army
i am patiently waiting in the bushes for this convo to end so i can start halo lore chat
I will patiently await this as well

It's clever, I promise
Russ is not beating the furry allegations
i am as patient as the river cutting a canyon through the mountain
ODST drops are suicide missions
literally started with peak
it looks like it yeah
Sucks to be you. You started with the best you can only go downhill
i went to 4 after
💀
and after that things went fuzzy
Oh wow right to the ground
i should return to the series
Just swan dove off a cliff
Reach is the best bungie halo game
but everybody hates 5 right?
And it’s not even close
is 5 hated more than 4
5 is a bad halo game
I won’t call 5 a bad game because it’s actually not a bad game it’s just not a halo game
The story mode is shit though
lol
Considering I literally have no idea what happens in 5, yeah it's probably pretty bad
yeah feels like the story has no impact after reach
Yeah because 343 wouldn’t commit
like wtf was 4 about
lol
4 is how i learned about forerunners btw
You dialed the wrong number
The ones in red aka the ones made after Bungie left Halo is the peaks of the series.
Mostly about chief’s brain
i liked the forerunner guns
but the issue is basically what you said
after Halo 3 where the story basically ends tehres literally nothing to do
but damn now that i learned about the covenant war, the series has really never done anything good afterwards
every thread is wrapped up
They made a Halo wars 2!?
Yeah
Correct
It’s good
^
God damn how did I miss that?
the human/covenant war is like well WAS the man attraction of halo
The Banished are really really good
In any case I think Halo 4 had the best story of the 343 games by far lol
5 was awful and infinite was
Whatever
It sucks cause the Diadact IS a good character
If humans and covenant aren't at war, then there's no point.
in the books
i liked the mantis in 4
when he's in the domain
i just did not understand or care about the forerunners
Is the wargame good?
What, you gonna throw in the flood halfway through the game again?
also 4 ingrained in my head that forerunners are morons
The Halo war game is decent
Tabletop wargame *
Well sorta but that one in particular
i like that reach had beige colored spartans for the multiplayer zombie mode because no flood models
Always a weird choice
oh
i thought you could play as flood in 3
Light green was the tradition
With the flood model and halo 4
zombies was my fav game mode and this should not be a surprise to any of you
but it sucks since it's THE game that's linked to a canon flood infected spartans
Anyway here’s the flood Spartan model
The halo 3 maps made infected mode really fun
also zombies was the only way i could ever hear the announcer say killionaire
Because you could be brain dead and still get killionaire on infected
yes
Halo 4 had flood?
The sounds they made were cool
no
Oh
also this is peak i hate it
And it was an in lore simulation to train for a scenario where the flood infect a spartan
Stop giving lore reasons for deathmatch, Bungie
Just let red guys shoot blue guys
although to put it clear i think flood are a horrible enemy for the narrative so i get why the games didn't have them after 3
Also fun fact this is 343 lore but Spartans deployed in conditions where they may encounter flood get a special modification into their helmet
they're too strong
Called the guillotine module
I’ll give you one guess what it does
When you get infected
can't the flood still use the nervous system
That and literally all three games had the flood show up halfway through.
The goal is to remove the brain so the flood can’t get the info
But yeah the body would still be somewhat usable if in a degraded form
Flood infection forms like to nestle in spartan heads apparently
Based on the halo 2 art
Couldn't the flood still infect the severed head though?
they have the star trek borg narrative of being way too strong so they have to be used sparingly (star trek failed at this)
It blows up the head
As in it turns it into a pulp
It’s useless aside from as biomass
It doesn’t literally sever the head
Well I mean it does
That at least sounds like it might work
But it’s not cutting it off
It happens whenever the Spartan is medically dead or the armor detects infection
Then your head goes boom
Well I guessed from the name that it cut the head off
flood is like that one kid who says he has a counter to all your attacks when playing imaginary fighting
like how do you win
Also I do like in halo wars 2 how some of the banished think the flood are fake
You shoot every kid on the playground.
-The forerunners, being sore losers
And break into the ruins of high charity
💀
I’ll give you one guess how this “wonderful” idea goes
wtf is an endless btw
It’s a sentient species immune to the halo ring
Likely due to lacking a nervous system or some shit
i came into the setting expecting way too many precursor races and now there's more
but they're ancient
yes
Let me guess, Private Jenkins but it's from a grunt's perspective
werent ancient humans way better
Yeah but from a brutes perspective because grunts get scared too easily and they don’t go in
lol
Ancient humans were basically gods
also does new humanity just... never wonder why they just popped into existence on earth
that is frighteningly accurate
Poor brutes lol
Halo Wars 2 THE FLOOD RETURNS Cutscene (Awakening the Nightmare DLC)
► Instagram: http://instagram.com/GLP_Mike
► Twitter: https://twitter.com/GLPFeed
► Twitch: http://twitch.tv/glplayground
► Facebook: http://facebook.com/gLpLayground
We saw this in the trailer, but here it is. The Flood is back!
#halowars2 #awakeningthenightmare #d...
but like does humanity know about ancient humans
Yes
so they were genetically better?
They started finding out later
How the fuck does anyone stumble upon the flood and not immediately know what it is by now?
They weren’t part of the covenant
They defected early in the war
All they knew about the flood was old myths and legends
so halo is supposed to still have regular history before the future era right
And also that the covenant fell because they were stupid and egotistical
Yes
I do actually think genetics plays a part yeah
A few of the banished actually know
What the flood actually are
But the brute officer in charge
so why did they never figure out that there's ruins of shit on the planet
Along with their subordinates didn’t
Still though, the three flood outbreaks should be plastered on every sentient TV screen in the galaxy
It all got cleaned off by the forerunners or some shit idk

so do ancient humans have any reason to exist plot wise
They took out high charity, the covenant capital, Africa got glassed because of it
or is it just there to explain why the covenant hate humans
I mean, the covenant hating humans is pretty plot relevant
yeah it is
But aside from that, I guess not
ah
i meant if it ever gets expanded on
that there was a super high tech humanity lol
You see bits during forerunner flashbacks
There was a war between the forerunners and humans because the flood hit a human world and the forerunners glassed it immediately but then refused to elaborate
Yeah basically
They look like space native Americans
also the Lord of Admirals (the guy in the pic) is still around in modern halo
Which I think is pretty cool but also weird
he's in the Domain with the Diadact killing human AIs
it's that sci fi tradition of making older species be IRL older cultures but sci fi i guess
or it's meant to show that ancient humans were more in harmony than modern ones or smth
But yeah, I swear someone in 343 studios is a scientologist
how
He got turned into an AI
so is he evil now
Because native Americans were, famously, cooperative and harmonious
No
he got composed
which just turns you into a digital mind
Refer to cyberpunk 2077
Not a modern AI which essentially kills the person and copies them into an AI
so he's just himself
yes
and he's not like a huge part of the lore
the inner nerd in me wants to learn about ancient humanity
what was their culture, traditions, history
I like the books but can we talk about contact harvest?
he, the diadact, and a bunch of ancient humans are in the domain making a game out of killing the left over human AIs in there
did they reach the stars without shitting on the planet as much as modern humans etc etc
they were banging the prophets
but they didn't have tons of colonies like modern humanity ye
Ancient elites were basically feudal japan
ancient sangshyum were described as a beautiful people
the ancient human-sang empire is what fought the flood the forerunners
so he's evil
till the prophets betrayed humanity
and by human AI you mean like cortana right
The prophets got tired of being the side piece
why are they killing eachother
oh right cortana turns evil or smth
Flood computer virus
so halo lore is still stuck in limbo after the covenant war i see
good writers could do something with the shattered covenant
anyone know if warhammer events allow custom water transfers?
for like competitive play and art compitions
what's that again
Nominally it's when humans and covenant first made contact, but in practice it's sort of like a Sergeant Johnson fan fic
jsut realized i could use nail stamping stuff lol
i like it already
which halo game starts you on a beach again
i remember played that on my dad's ancient PC as a small infant
Uhh. The first one had a beach level
Yes
Well
Depends
But generally yes
Including GW
damn
i should play it
for some reason my dad used to play quake deathmatch, doom 3 and halo 1
but he has no idea what a mario is
Deathwatch in Killteam can skip taking a sgt lol
What can you build instead of sgt?
It’s just pick 5 from list of 11
I think it’s the blade master? That shares the body
But you could put it on any body
Realistically
ah its probably the black shield stand in
update on dad lore, he never played those games
so why tf were they on the family computer
i found the discs and booted doom 3 when i was like 6
nightmare fuel
Maybe for you back then?
Also how the fuck does this guy say boom, blasting, bomb, etc. without any lips
"Soone called or a oo?" "It's lasting tie!"
This is an important lore question

dont question it
It’s not special treatment
Only chapters with non space marine codex models receive a supplement. IF never will because they are, for the most part fully adherent to the codex astartes and so all their models are covered by the base space marine codex.
Sallies, WS, RG all have specialist formations and WS and sallies both aren't codex compliant
but they're in the core codex anyways lol
And they three all have codex supplements
They just need updated ones
Tbh this edition is about over
No point really when we will all need to buy them again next year
well
not a hard reset
if they released them they'd be fine
lol
since they'd stay for a while
Does nurgle bless bombers with insane throwing skill?
Like legitimately
Just echolocating you somehow, throwing a grenade across the map behind like 3 walls, and then nailing you in the head
Like it's pretty dumb to not make grenades standard issue, but like if someone can throw like him, fuck it; just give all the grenades to him
well
it appears the bomber is like...entirely specialized in explosives
and sucks at all else pretty much
hes probably trained his whole life to make grenades richochet off a wall and shit
and they probably main this guy in team fortress 2
hitting mid air pipes
well there is one character where their weapon is grenades squirrel girl but unfortunately the rest of her ability don't really have anything related to explosives
this was in context to fallout, i swear
so funny emmesh
I was just surprised at how quickly you can end up rich and with full gear when you abandon morals
which is like
way better
than RT
where you just, beat people to death for no profit
like the heretical path is just babymunching evil
im an evil fuck but im not a babymuncher man like cmon
haha
To be honest, I feel like the evil routes should give you a lot of reward quickly
Like that's sometimes why people do evil things
Although maybe it would be interesting if it gave you less reward later
Since usually doing evil things gives you a lot of riches in the short term
But fucks you over in the long run because people don't like dying or being in misery.
And would also see you as a danger.
It makes it much more alluring and sensible in how ambitious people fall to it so quickly
Like, you can be an evil fuck but you'll be polarizing to the extent that you can only really associate long-term with other evil fucks
Dishonored is the only game series that kinda does that successfully
Even then it has it's flaws but it's generally kinda the only game where the good/evil paths make full snese.
You got god like abilities, it's so easy to literally murder your way through
But the consequences of literally murdering everybody in your way make things worse
Also you got a kid... that's a future ruler
And you shouldn't make it so that she accidentally learns that "murder is the only way to success"
In Dishonored 1, playing full pacifist is just extremely annoying.
To the point where it feels unfun at times.
Dishonored 2 is perfect gameplay wise.
playing pacifist in dishonored 1 is so easy lol, you can just leave people untouched and blink
This is partially due to me being terrible at stealth.
and i agree dishonored 1 is the perfect game
i still cant fucking believe
But also because of things like extremely limited sleep darts.
that it came out so long ago
dont put folks to sleep
its easier to be stealthy if you just leave them untouched
ghost basically
dishonored was so ahead of its time
except for the necessary guys
Yeah
But also I want that fucking rune
actually that was pretty much the golden era of stealth wasnt it
assassins creed was good at that point
splinter cell
Tbf, again, this is partially due to a personal skill issue.
But in my opinion, Dishonored 2 has better gameplay for both pacifist and not pacifist.
metro to a certain extent
The ability to do more non-lethal takedowns is fun.
the only ac's ive truly liked and I mean did kinda love playing through them were ac 2, brotherhood and ac4, all the others aint as good as those imo
Especially from the air.
actually metro 2033 is unironically a good stealth game
Also I can carry more than 5 sleep darts.
Dishonored 2 has a lesser story in my opinion though.
dishonored 2 is good, but I think it has flaws 1 doesnt, its like 9/10 for me 1 is 10/10
i should probably finish 2 lol
Like Dishonored 1's was simple, but it is actually interesting to see the fully detailed consequences
i kinda got bored
yeah 2 has huge maps
you can get lost
pretty easily and forget what you were supposed to be doing
2 is actually fun playing pacifist.
There's more options
dont call me that
metro was an underrated stealth game
haha so true emmesh-aiye
I do dislike how big the maps are though
especially 2033
I think metro series are correctly rated tbh, people love em
i play the original 2033
But also
Drop takedowns
because im hard like that
also mgs 5 has the best stealth gameplay and overall gameplay in a stealth game ive played
My cousin bought me Dishonored 1 & 2 and I literally just never played tjem
"Boss these are just kids do- and that's why you're the boss!"
You should
Genuinely fun
the amount of reactivity the mg5 stealth has and the amount of tactical options you get is pretty good
I do genuinely think Dishonored is the only game series that truly encapsulates why evil is so attractive to the ambitious.
dishonored lets you be a filthy rat gremlin
Bro singlehandedly eliminating a base one-by-one and listening to them panick in authentic Russian is so kino
