so metamorph hybrids are like
the best genestealer infantry types?
because you get acolytes who look like tyranids, then you get the neophytes who are humanoid
and then they go back to metamorph like tyranids , because I guess its time to go all out in the open
Yeah
Metamorphs are 4th and 3rd gen often
They just all of a sudden just end up like that
the norn siblings seem much more dangerous than the hive tyrants tbh
The next Warhammer+ minis have been revealed
whos the guy on the right though
I like the skeletons in the AoS one but the dude is quite whatever
just some necromancer probably
Yea just a Necromancer
the eldars back has some nice detail
So it's a Spiritseer and a Necromancer, two characters who raise the dead, just with different connotations
One controls people using elf gundam the other one uses bones
society
toxicrenes are kinda huge tbh
Looks like it's going to be another get both models year
Yea he isn't the most interesting part of the mini, you could probably build it without him and just focus on this segment as like a Wight king rising with his retinue.
Like this
This guy would go hard on the rock ye
No no, I mean the guy coming out of the ground is the Wight King
He's wearing a crown
Oh I see
why dont drukhari have psykers
They technically do since all Eldar are psykers, Drukhari just actively supress all their psychic potential
To avoid attention from Slaanesh
Psykers are more succeptible to Chaos, and She who thirst
well, it seems drukhari are also more physically capable than aeldari
Being a drukhari Psyker is a significant occupational hazard
Yea because they supress their psychic powers they have to focus more on the physical side than Eldar typically do
It makes sense. Drukhari make up for the lessened Psyker potential with heightened physical potential
is this like, the latest vect mini
Yep
seems a tad dated tbh
Yep
Not over the top enough
well the vehice is..okay, but vect himself looks pretty dated
It's over 25 years old and no longer in production
It's also apparently a complete nightmare to build
Nope, nothing for Drukhari
How do other eldar protect their psykers from chaos?
Soulstones
Soul stones
Training
Not being a dumbass
(very difficult)
Eldar are much better Psykers in general
Except the Drukhari
They don't have the ability to use Psyker stuff anymore
Primarily because they don't have the luxury of soulstones
Ahh okay, i didnt know soul stones could protect them too while theyre alive
this archon aint so bad, pose is pretty mid imo
the flayed skin cape looks kinda odd too
Yea, Drukhari also live in the Webway in Commorragh, where it's much easier to get soul snatched while using psychic powers than it is in real space
i bet szeras would get along great with haemonculi
they hitting that shit yeah
medusae seem kind of a goofy unit
all they can do is just stare at someone and make them feel anguish?
in combat
They basically make you feel such intense emotional pain that your mind collapses and you go into a coma
yeah but
whats that gonna do to a kastelan
they dont seem particularly armed either
Make them feel such intense emotional pain that their mind collapses
I wonder if they hit a servitor with that, it survives but all that emotional pain triggered personality recall
What would it do to a Tyranid bioform though
Would it do nothing, or make the Hivemind feel it
its goofy
You're not going to believe this
But it would make them feel such intense emotional pain that their mind collapses
Like if it's a freed Tyranids it make sense if it just does their regular thing
they need like some other trick in addition to staring
give them a klaive or something
But their purpose is to stare
well the lore isnt bad
its a jellyfish that looks like a nest of snakes with brains
maybe they can shoot lasers too
This is like saying "Yea Guardsman are alright, but they should all have plasma guns instead of lasguns, they'd be stronger if they all just used plasma guns, why don't they all use plasma guns"
and the Medusae can stare, that's what it does
let it like, explode whatever it stares at
Why?
also, does it even work on ironkin
Yes
I'd understand your point if Medusae were a standard battle line unit for the Drukhari, but they aren't. They're a very specialised elite case designed to do one single thing
I suppose if you get like 60 of them together and drop them on a frontline, they could probably immobilize an organic army much faster than a 100 kabalite warriors
Most people are always in awe in regards to the crazy mental toughness, physical strength, healing factor, acid spitting and a the other super human crap space marine bodies can do. But alot of that shit is unrelateable to a normal human. The average person doesnt need a betchers gland or a black carapace to be lethal. Give him access to an artillery piece and he'll be lethal enough.
No, what impresses me the most is how little sleep the average space marine needs to function on a very high combat level for days, or even weeks, in extreme circumstances months.
If i sleep less than 8 hours (like tonight, thx very much, nightmares), i am and feel and perform the next day like a wet towl.
Meanwhile the space marine has slept 3 hours in the last 7 days and is still combat ready
Also the main purpose of the Medusae is it's fruit, the anguish beam is just how it aquires sensations to provide said fruit
Drukhari don't keep Medusae to kill everything, they keep them to harvest their fruit
well yes, its a recreational activity for the drukhari
and it is in the court of the archon
rather than being in a battle formation of some kind
So the answer to why doesn't it have other weapons is because they want it to use the emotional beam to grow fruit
He's probably slept a lot more
Marines can like partially sleep and shit
they do get beds in their little rooms
do tech priests ever sleep though
can they even lie down without needing to remove half their body
i guess they sleep standing up
Don't need to
Some do
Uriel Ventris chamber on macgragge is described having a bed
it depends emote
Varies on how borged up they are I'm sure
well
the marine rooms in sm2 had a bed iirc
A little cell with a tiny shelf and a bed, perfect
and you get a wall to hang up your medals
Wish I could do that
Irrc Ventris room is described as having a bed, two chairs, a small table and a grey gunmetal locker
the second chair is for his ego

mandrakes are a cool unit
also their lore is dope
and so is their kill team
which seems much more recent than most of the roster
judging by the art
well it is
an year old iirc
prior that the incubi got a new release in 9th edition
Our last two releases have both been Killteam
Mandrakes and Hand of the Archon, which was an upgrade sprue for regular Kabalites
is that the one with kabalite agents and the medic
exelicator?
exicator?
i forget
the medic
ive seen better kill teams ngl
Eh it's nice, adds some new weapons, heads/helmets and allows you to spice up your Kabalites
Shame there aren't rules for those new weapons in 40k but what can you do
was the skysplinter assassin not part of the new kabalites
Yea, that pic isn't all of them
i gotta say
I watched ep 1 of hammer and bolter, deaths hand
I think I understood like..10% of it
why did the inquisitor kill his buddy arturo
why are there 2 officio assassins after him
why is there an eldar in his retinue
and did the tarot cards just predict his death or was there more to it
because he was onto him
he was going off the walls trying to change his own destiny while the whole time only making it a self fulfilling prophecy
he thought theyd he useful

well it makes more sense now
I guess he was consulting eldar, so arturo was mad at him
and so was whoever sent the assassins after him
also was arturo an inquisitor
either that or a rogue trader dont remember
regardless that pretty much sealed his fate when he killed him
probably an inquisitor
he had two arbitrators with him, I mean rogue traders can have those, but seems more likely he was an inquisitor
although he didnt wear the inquisitor badge anywhere iirc
so maybe he was a rt
redditors dream come true
Lmao where is that leak from
its from the new warcom article
uagh
Iron Snake shoulderpad lets gooooo
Wow
aos W
This is fucking awesome hello
as per usual
Wait how is the new model of the year revealed already
Is it too late to get the last one now?
Doesn't change over until like September
no
this is the free mini you get, if you have warhammer plus you can buy the older minis staright up
while they are in stock
Well i still haven't been able to redeem my free one for this year
Was talking about the Necromancer earlier, I unironically think it looks better without the Necromancer
weird, i think it looks better without the wright king
This is gonna sound stupid but im really tired of painting feet
So i dont really like that model front and center
wh-what army
Skaven
lmao
i think it takes too much focus off the necromancer-
who i love, it reminds me of the guy from princesss and the frog
Wonder if I how hard it would be to build them separately
Like have the Barrow guard and the Wight on the diorama base and just put the Necromancer on a seperate base
Im so brainrotted I can't fucking take it I saw these two heads for deathwatch and immediately conjured up this image
These faces are hideous oh my god
have the wright lik eontop a hill maybe have the horse come out of the grounf at the same time
I just recently realised, but if any company made a 40k game like COD or BF, people are going to want a Battle Royale mode for it.
...?
Not necessarily
he realized that if a warhammer game that is a first person shooter a battle Royale mode will be pretty obvious choice
Well majorly depend on what they're spinning upon
OHHH
i thought they meant if call of duty of battle field made a 40k game there would be a battle royal mode
my bad
It's more that if they make a Battle Field 40k, some people are going to ask for a BR mode (like how CoD has introduced one in a past game
Horse?
Thing is, there are streamers complaining that because BF6 is slowing movement down, it's not going to make the battle royale fun
for like, the wright lord/king on steed?
People that are complaining about that are looking for a cod alternative that is not cod
Oh, no just a regular Wight king
ahh my bad
battlefield was not about its movement in the 1st place
Exactly.
But no I'd keep the Wight and skeletons as is in the model, it's the Necromancer I'd remove and put on a seperate base
any necromancer model is better than the official one rn
Some are asking to do what can be called the same with Darktide
omg I saw bound for greatness, the book counter episode of hammer and bolter what in the name of the emprah that was really good
I can't even use a Necromancer in my army, since I plan on using Barrow Legion and it's only Deathrattle units, but still nice to have a Necromancer
Even if their rules aren't great
Basically the message is dont be a nerd

that was significant improvement over ep1
and angels of death
" TO REASON IS TO CONSIDER LIES"
yeah it was pretty bad
greyseer from the new aos show trailer
tithes and hammer and bolter is good though so far
im watching the hb ep with the orks
Yarrick's one is really fun
he needs to snort more drugs
oh shit they have a diagram of yarrick as the legendary ork killer
Hes the peak for a reason
I wonder if GW could make a Warhammer version of Holdfast or BF work, but with every warhammer universe in it at the same time.
Like having fantasy or AoS modes alongside HH or 40k.
That's a hellish scope
Yea like just making a game like that which covers all the major factions of a single one of those settings is a massive amount of work
That's true.
the space wolves aspirant was kinda mid
Alsobthe files sizes
Worlds first 3 TB game
Much better to do a series of game that hit each setting on its own, much easier scope to do, and more sensible
I think the only game where they can include every warhammer faction safely would be RTS or strategy games
Checks out
marine centric episode
I mean, you do realise that 1 game series has done like half of the list already
Tides need only AoS and HHand they'll have the trifecta equivalent of 4
Yeah fantasy has Total War 40k has plenty of strategy games like dawn of war and gladius, now we only need the ones in AOS and now the three settings have games that represent them best
green aspect warriors are striking scorpions right
I wouldn't really consider Total War and DoW tbh, they're different enough that they're not by themselves covering both setting but each covering 1 setting in their own different way
what i mean is like a game free AOS similar that covers every faction and is a strategy
A game series covering every warhammer verse would be sick
Total War might cover 2 of the 3/4 setting with thr 40k one being rumoured abouf
A DoW (or better yet one like LotR:BfME2) AoS would be stellar
yeah it would be sick
As much as I would equally love an AoS TW, I feel like the lack of set maps kind of make it hard to envision
Not to say that such maps are impossible to do, they're tricky but not impossible, but rather that they're not defined yet, and I doubt that GW would appreciate it being defined that much
the ones with dreads and claws yes
i guess that's true with old world you just have to put in old world with AOS you have multiple realms multiple times the size of old the world
whomever wrote in the garden of ghosts should write all 40k content
Only episode where I legit cried
it got me bad lol
I showed it to a friend of mine who didnt like Eldar much
and by the end he was like:
genuinely priceless
i dont even feel like watching the next one anymore lol
the one time im glad they used ultramarines instead of another chapter
Aye that's the tricky part (making a more skirmish based rts easier), but the other problem is that most of the realm aren't really as developed as battle fantasy's map was
"YOUR CRAFTWORLD BURNS, ALIEN!"
"...How proud you must be, of your ability to commit atrocity."
fuck, so good
Yep it did
that episode got a lot of flak for the usual eldar punting but the emotional care at least saves it.
I think this would be a lot worse to read, its way better as a visual media, really puts some ideas into perspective that way
yeah the eldar music helps too
Yeah that elven choir as that warlock kid is going through the ghost memories of the ruined garden is... man

What about ones that don’t share a primarch
yeah im watching kill protocol now, that one seems good
The situation is that a raven guard is trapped in the nihilus without any of his chapter and has resigned to the fact that the rift’s not closing any time soon
in general I tend to enjoy the setting of post apocalyptic/ruined urban environment
And wants some brotherhood by joining the Absolvers
the traitorous scumbag
For as much as he knows his chapter is gone
just let him hang out with the absolvers and keep his colors
The imperium might be gone
his chapter cant be gone, hes still alive 🫡
" AS LONG AS EVEN ONE RAVEN GUARD LIVES"

Well there are the theories that the Lost and the Purged's Space Marines were pushed to the Ultramarines
Don't think we've had confirmations of SM joining other legions before

However
I just realized, the vanguard character in my campaign that just died and was just introduced, I introduced them by having a tech priest rendition of Geppeto ask the party if they'd take his creation with them for safekeeping and had a really emotional display for a tech priest where he basically tells the skitarii that this is what he was made for, to go out and do good in the galaxy. .....and then he was brutally murdered by daemons
I dont know about you but I am NOT going to be the one to deliver the body
I cant tell Legally distinct Geppeto that his son died the instant he entrusted him to us
"Hey uh, wheres my creation"
"Oh we found him a nice paradise world to live on"
Okay that alt build is really good lol
the artefacts episode was baller
how did trazyn trap them though
did he trap both chaos terminators and the drukhari
He used a labyrinth
All of them yes. As you saw in the flash of possibilities sometimes the druks murder them and sometimes the terminators kill them, or they both die.
A tesseract labyrinth
also did the necron who baited them in the beginning actually believe there was a webway red herring there or did he know he was sending them to trazyn
We don’t know genuinely
fair enough
makes sense
Very likely a memory of HOW they get there ingrained into them which they experience every time they are "reset" and in reality they are permanently stuck inside the arena that is the spacehulk.
yeah
because they never choose to not explore it
, since they have no reason not to
Yeah exactly lol
Tesseract labryinths also can house like entire battallions of people or hivefleets inside them so it can be basically anything
I love bullshit necon science

trazyn is a special bullshitter for sure

hot
Yeah
from very awesome to extremely awesome how do you like doorman
A key kolder that double as a pistol is peak
doorman has the best lines and delivery I heard in a game in a very long time
how does someone who teach statistic come to ask you about your relations with your uncle who is in prison
he saw my name from the random name puller thing
alright that makes sense
adn i have a very unique last name
Very Awesome, extremely good voicelines and design and kit lol
valve giving deadlock portals and the ice gun from the wip ep3 is peak valve i can't even
I just got back on deadlock
and its sooo much more polished
its really coming along
hope they work on balance soon though
I’m gona be real with you
It’s an icefrog MOBA
70/30 matchups are considered acceptable
lol
and maybe more ease of access to new players, cause Ive seen a lot of friends of mine try to pick it up and struggle hard
Fair
but a lot of times it doesnt feel that way
The classic MOBA issue
Tbh
No one has ever solved the onboarding issue for MOBAs
Once you understand a good chunk of the shitton of content and mechanics you can be like "Oh I see how I lost that matchup and how they killed me in 3 seconds"
For sure
But a new player will have that happen and just be like "alright I'm out"
I mean it’s something you ultimately need to learn/endure
Cause the right combination of items can feel genuinely unplayable against
until you learn deeper mechanics or item counters
Recently got into League as like my first Moba and yea, it was many hours of "What the hell am I doing" and people telling me to get cancer when I ask what I'm supposed to do
i hate moba's and love deadlock, original ik and yeah i'm struggling
but i find out new tech every match
So far I have had a great experience with deadlock
Me listening to someone scream at me in a language I don’t recognize on DOTA 2 ranked
💀
Deadlock being a closed beta helps rn
and classic valve the worldbuilding and universe is just chef's kiss
I want to know more about it it feels so captivating
Because if you’re a toxic shithead you might just get taken out back and fed to icefrog
why are moba communities so toxic
Heavily team reliant, competitive by nature, game is extremely complex
"Why didn't you ward pixel?"
"I'm sorry, I don't even know what a ward is"
"Is this your first game?"
"Yes"
"Then FF right now"
"I don't know what that means"
Yeah that sounds about right
the games degrade the brains of their players
I only had one guy be kinda toxic on my morning of deadlock
i used to hang around LoL players in highschool even though i never played it
He was like "why the fuck are you playing like that"
those people sucked
and the guy was like "this is my first game, I dont even know whats going on"
Lane I guess? lol?
How so?
Lane mechanics in deadlock are weird as fuck
Thats true
ooh actually
They basically offer 0 actual protection lol
what if you could buy upgrades for the turrets
The big thing for turrets rn is that like
Valve can’t seem to decide if they want the turret to be a net of safety
In deadlock lol
As in the guardian
The walker is absolutely a net of safety
true
Less tbh
walker can fuck you up if you play too agressive
You can take cover against it
And it loses aggro
It’s super easy to juggle aggro while diving lol
I learned how in my first 10m of the game
I'm sure devs will work oni t
rn I feel like they got bigger fish to fry
but I'm sure it will be looked at
League turrets are racist though
I think deadlock is pretty good rn already
League turrets are by far the most dangerous turrets in any MOBA lol
It’s hilarious how dangerous they are
I'd be ok with that really
I'm cool with players needing to be the main threats and the turrets are just meant to be a thorn in the side
or to deal with npcs
i learned that the hard way when i started
Getting gunned down in NYC by a candle
in his ult he can't help it but go back to his nature of tormenting people
I kinda wanna try deadlock again but I enjoyed it more when people were still relatively unfamiliar with the higher end active item usage and I really didn't like how those started to steer how the games went
though I don't know if it has changed since then
Played a game yesterday where I got shot after hitting an enemy under tower, so left it's radius and then walked back in with a wave of minions, tower still shot me and then as I was leaving it's range again it shot and executed me.
Then in same game enemy Fiora just launched at me under tower without minions, combo move kills me all the way from full and leaves without taking a single tower shot.
Though some characters are more reliant on them
That's good at least
Characters like Pocket or warden basically need an active item
But like Infernus literally does not give a shit lol
have they changed my boy Bebop in any way
good
Can’t believe they nerfed Lash smh my head
Taking away his ult always stunning
It was balanced I swear
I have seen people play Boombop in which they place enough bombs on themselves to level a skyscraper and then run head first into the enemy
for some reason this pisses people off
you can place them on yourself now?
I'm merely an outsider watching what I see to evaluate whether I want to play the game or not but i'm pretty sure no
it was either the enemy or ally
yeah I used to stick them to lil dudes and swing them on to the enemies
was good fun
or allies
without their consent
https://youtu.be/ML8lcvx2uAA?si=16rMHXefggxpM81p yes some people are apparently doing this little funny thing where they strap enough bombs on themselves to level the city block and then just run head first into the enemy
song - evaboy - DOOMsday
item build in game is called "bebomp", build id 107270
Yes
i mean when you start the game and you don't know jack about shit and you get hit by this it's understandable
he's a literal noob bully
Bebop is designed to torment new players
Yeah the meta isnt very fun from what ive been witnessing. No thanks!
Meta is fine mostly
Imo
It’s about what I expected from a valve MOBA lol
shame they got rid of being able to freeze a lane forever
Was funny denying people farm
For 15 minutes straight
Because it’s right by my walker
I dont doubt its well balanced it just doesn't seem like my type of game
Fair
Well it’s not that well balanced tbh
But it’s a valve MOBA
Icefrog has condemned us to his glorious vision
what about Mo & Krill. are they good or what
They’re good
If you’re cordinated
Otherwise meh
The ult can’t kill on its own anymore really
What about Billy
Billy is a noob stomper
lol
He literally just preys on people who don’t know how to stay away
Or parry
and abrams?
Fine
Splitpush/1v1 menace
Prolly bad in actual coordinated play but that doesn’t exist in deadlock
So he’s kind of a terrorist lol
Great the three interesting characters that appeals to my tastes and specialize in being up close and CC ain't the best
I mean Mo and Krill is good
You’re just reliant on having team mates with at least 5 brain cells
To identify the person you’re ulting, to aim at the person you’re ulting, to shoot at the person you’re ulting, and to keep shooting until they’re dead
OK what about sir get down warden
So I was thinking of my Khornate PMC to actually be based off of traditional navy rankings.
But as a genuine question. What are the Imperium Navy rankings? Do they follow like USA Navy rankings or are they different?
I know, Lexicanum, but I want to hear it from y'all because I like talking with all of you
@queen laurel even you, you big fucking green bell pepper looking ass.

i'm like the last guy you should ask for navy rankings though
Hm true.
Not sure it'd even fit anyways cause again, Khornate.
I do still want it to be organized though
Yeah
Like to reflect a proper military rather than most Khornate people
Which are just
Uh... Ork tier in terms of choosing their rankings
"Biggest is the strongest"
Thought about just copying Imperial Navy rankings cause most of them are human
A few Xenos in there, but I doubt most want to join the raving band of psychopaths and sociopaths that kill for materials and their God
And also make piles of skulls to sacrifice to said God
I imagined like literal Skull totems being around casually with satanic/chaotic symbols all around
Similar to how company buildings sometimes have abstract art statues that just... are there
Isnt the general answer whatever tf the writer wants

Maybe

I like to base it off of something though
Use us navy rankings then
Also I plan to actually have it be this fucking
Clean ass corporate aesthetic.
Also on a completely off topic note
I swear at least 1000 slaves must die by slipping on something in Chaos ships
Like Everytime you see them they're usually caked in something
Blood and gore usually
Stink and moss for Nurgle
Etc.
Chaos ending Cinematic from the Chaos DLC Campaign, delivers the most requested new feature of the game: a fully playable Chaos Grand Campaign, letting you take the role of Malos Vrykan as he razes the galaxy.

Like bro how are you supposed to fucking walk without slipping
Do all the Chaos Gods have to make every room the equivalent to a College Student's room but with gore and viscera instead of dirty clothes and textbooks?
Make the floor not slippery at least

Tzeentch isn't even free from that
Simply be better
They take heavy inspiration from original imperial fist organisation when they had marshals and Lord castellans etc etc
what happens to a chaos worshipper when they die
it can depend
eaten by demons
Revived later by chaos
well what did you expect serving a faction literally called chaos

to add to there table top collection?

You don't eat that?
only a little nibble at a time
Now imagining a Daemon going to subway
"Yeah can I have Soul sandwich with extra blood."
Me to my opponents everytime I win
I mean you could trust a Khornate Daemon.
Mainly because they probably wouldn't make a deal
They would just fucking kill you
no
Meatball marinara on Italian herb and cheese with double gherkins goes hard though
True
That's mainly because meatball subs are good
Subway sandwiches are kinda bland unless if you idk
Put a bunch of spicy sauce
You're US though right, so like our Subway and yours is completely different recipes
tzeench daemons are the most trustworthy cause yk your gonna get back stabbed no matter what
I mean US Subway bread is legally classified as cake in Britain and Ireland due to how much sugar there is
Honestly the worst part is that I bet some actually follow through on their deals
Just to fuck with people further
Like they legally had to change their recipes in order to operate here because of higher food safety standards
Because you won't know if they actually will backstab you or not
I wish the USA had ghat
and that yea
RFK Jr, despite being the worst possible person in his position.
I do agree with him on one thing. A lot of shit in our foods are basically poison
...
imagine excepting to get betrayed just for the daemon to leave you alone tell you die so you stay living under constant paranoia
It's too bad that he is again
A seriously deranged asshole
And also hitting the wrong areas
The high amounts of corn syrup we use? The worsening quality of even fast food? The lack of vegetables?
Nah
Let's restrict rna vaccines!
Fucking jackass
The most ironic part is that I'm currently eating corn on the cob
Also the US version has way more sugar
The worst part is that it doesn't even taste sweet
Not that I want it to
Why
Just
Just fucking make regular bread man

how did we go from talking about heretics to food products
Because the food safety standards in the USA might as well be controlled by Chaos

At least we get bigger drink sizes
Mmmm liquid corn syrup
My favorite
The worst part is that most of our soda doesn't even have actual sugar in it
It's mostly corn syrup
this the lore chat way
No politics, but RFK is literally pink from the wall album
Worms ate his brain

Also, on yet another unrelated note.
I really fucking wish we got swords that weren't katanas. God dammit Arasaka.
I legitimately don't think it should be political to say that RFK Jr shouldn't be in charge of our FUCKING HEALTH DEPARTMENT
DID NURGLE PUT HIM THERE
the main reason why its political is some people disagree with you (dumb or not), and the discussion pushes us away from 40k
Also, moving away from actual politics
I think that like
The projectile launcher arm cybernetic is probably the most useless
Out of the four you can get
Like it's a shame too since Edgerunners and other media show it basically being an extremely effective grenade launcher
But in game it feels like I should've just thrown a regular frag grenade
And it's a shame since it's the only arm cybernetic that isn't like
A melee weapon
Haven't tried monowire
But Gorilla arms and Mantis Blades?
Fun as shit
I'm sorry but I need that double jump

If I can't run across buildings like it's mirror edge
Then what's the point
Jokes aside, I do hope that in the new game
We go outside of Night City
Like Night City is cool as fuck
But I genuinely wish we went to some other places for like a dlc
Also more melee weapons
The choice is surprisingly limited
Why is the only sword
A katana
Where are the longswords
I get that Arasaka is like the most oppressive corp
But nobody else tried to make European style swords a thing?
Imagine how cool a claymore would be
Hes a mad man
Wouldnt call him a guy anymore
Only the most deranged fans would say he isn't an awful person let's be fair here
ok here me out tho he kinda lacks free will
in the sense that he was drugged up 24/7
he just chose to be a attack dog
He did have free will though.
He just decided to make his existence everyones problem
He also willingly abused and butchered his own Legion into being even bigger killers than they already were.
everything that happened to him is almost entirely his fault
Rip kharn
fuck Kharn lmao
The Butchers Nails are cruel in that it still allows clarity.
It wasn't his choice to become somebody that needs to kill to feel any sort of calm.
But it was his choice to make it a fucking problem for EVERYONE.
hes about as worse
cant that be blamed at the butchers nails
No lol
No thanks too much blood
no
It's like abusing a partner and being like
the Nails didnt force him to turn his legion into what they are
"It wasn't me, it was my mental illness"
^^^^^^
Angron is the same
best explanation
the fandom really wants to like
tragedy-cope angron
he was always a monster
He is the definition of the cycle of abuse
Space marines did have gene daddy issues
ok but there that and theres having constant rage meth being poured in your head
I like Angron precisely because he reminds me of some... bad experiences
It's cathartic in a weird way.
He still chose to do what he did
He also chose to inflict that upon his whole legion
Angron did not have to tell his legion to mutilate themselves lol
He chose to say that
while under a constant influnce
Yeah to kill
not abuse his legion
and tell them to mutilate themselves
and turn to chaos
and doom billions of planets
lol
Didn't say that the choice wasn't hard.
Or that it's an optimal situation.
But he didn't have to tell his soldiers to basically become suicidal attack dogs, abuse them, and then turn to chaos
But but he did a gladiator salute to that ome guardsman
lol
yall remember he was supposed to be a healer primarch right?
Yeah and so?
It doesn’t matter
The Nails just give you a killer instinct/urge
Healers can be dicks
Doesn't matter.
it doesnt control your mind
Angron chose everything he did after he got the nails
^
Just like petty man baby
Angron actively chose
Hes a cunt that got what was coming to him
To do the things he did
even if he didnt have the Nails he'd join Horus and eventually damn himself
His rebellion was doomed from the start
He never tried to establish an actual rebellion
Basically
Circumstances in life make people suffer.
But people choose to let it turn them into a continuation
It was entirely blind rage
didnt vulkan crack his skull and see only the nails
Which primarch had the least agency?
angron chose to stay pissed at the emperor instead of moving on and accepting his sons
Probably magnus or lorgar
No it only replaced 30% of his brain
Angron is the cycle of abuse
He passed it onto others
yeah I wouldnt really say he was in control
Who makes his own sons drunk
A lot of abusers (not every abuser ofc) were victims at first
He was still making decisions consciously explicitly
He was more in control than magnus/lorgar
^

Magnus was damned from the start
He still made conscious decisions and had periods of lucidity
core memory unlocked
He wasn't drugged 24/7
Angron never regretted shit
Lorgar was sorta f'ed from the start
More like
When it came to what he did to his legion
angron was ruined by a shitty planet but he chose to stay angry at everything
16/7
yeah periods
Loyalist world eaters though
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Well you can’t blame him for being angry, you can blame him for doing that shit to his legion
lol
You can blame him for killing anyone who tried to reason with him
Angron just wanted to lash out blindly
cause he was lobtomized by nails that put you in said constant state
He didn’t care about anything
For the last time
The Nails dont control his mind
he wasn't lobotimized
Magnus is honestly tragic... In the Greek way.
Everything he did could've been avoided if he actually stopped for a moment.
But uh
He was not lobotomized
He didn't because Hubris
I still got no good reason as to why the emperor couldnt save the gladiators
this is what happens when you dont read the books
angron had all his mental faculties
The rebellion was doomed already is why
he could think and everything
yk what I mean tho
Yeah
And in those periods...
He still chose to abuse his legion
Beam em up and take the 40% that survive
Does still have some sentience left since his daemonhood power up
That is Angron
He wrote a book
So yes
There's literally no excuse other than the Emperor is an asshole
Also angron was a dick irregardless of the nails
eh semi he gets his moments
See his wxchange with russ
Everyone always portrays him as a mindless beast
i feel like angron would be the worst person to give military advice
Angron is a mindless beast the same way a blood thirster is
Flanderization of evil
Apparently it’s a good book
lol
he does peak one in daemon hood
Imagine Angron calmly writing a book.
And then immediately feeling the nails biting, going out, and beating a random serf to death
rule 1: charge the enemy
rule 2: scream loudly
And then he just casually comes back to the table and continues to write
Point being Angron post ascension isn’t a mindless animal
Even if he doesn’t want to talk
run straight just copy pasted at max font size
I do like the world eaters who overcome the nails
The man did forged a sword by beating a daemon
Who are calm
A true artisan
can we talk a bit about how necrontyr decided to go to war with ancient gods because of jealousy
Tbf, the world eaters were good strategists.
Remember that they also have to plan for when they inevitably go insane and freak out
So they have to plan to mitigate the damage, strike, etc.
Tbf they got their asses beaten
I feel like any sane person would have did what khrone did or just killed themsleves if they had to deal with the nails
The first time round
I mean, the old ones straight said "nah we aint helping you avoid extinction because reasons"
Angron should have just killed himself for someone who constantly said he wanted to die rather then spread his suffering to trillions more
lol
yeah and somehow losing against the old ones is what made then bitter at all forms of life. THEY STARTED IT
Yeah that's just outright a plot hole
Angron literally constantly talks about wanting to kill hismelf or die
Jealousy or because they were denied salvation? || they were assholes pre biotrans||
Well no, it’s because he doesn’t want to kill himself
He wants to hurt other people
The same way he was hurt
speaking of the emperor could have 100% killed and revived him and am dying on that hill
It’s cope from him
i hope we get modern lore than gives them better reasons
Yeah, I know.
It's the same type of suicidal feeling that I got during my worst depression
maybe coming from the silent king
We had the reasoning
Explicitly
They wanted the cure to their disease
He is kraft punk he cannot die
The old ones said no because they were evil as shit
your brain is programmed to want to live
Modern book is pretty much escaping cancer
It’s a perfectly valid background lol
Honestly @arctic talon I think there should've been depictions of more suicide attempts anyways.
Like
...
The Necrontyr literally got told no
That is a wild thing to say out fo context
ah
Because they were evil assholes
Its not even killing
he could have just waved his hand
Necrons when they were somehow worse than humanity is in 40k
and removed the nails
the Emperor's psyker powers are literally just "can do anything"
until uhhh
the plot requires them not to work
lol
The actual plothole is that lol
so old ones could literally teleport from planet to planet right
But uhhh
the fact that he didnt do that was so brain dead
Honestly
They had a huge skill issue

like even if he died after the nails removeal he could have been brought back
Blame the 34 dickhead shamans
like old ones are meant to be the most advanced species to ever exist
Whose turn it was to wear the skin suit
I love the explanation of like "OH its dark age tech its ingrained into his brain!"
Motherfucker you literally wipe out entire armies from existence lol
Skill issue
In terms of Psychic stuff yeah
You sealed a ctan
We don’t know their actual level of technology
said the guy who he can regenerate flesh
"Oh I kept the nails in him because I thought it was funny when he tweaked out"
Shard could still remove the nails
plot hole gone
Ngl I would not trust the void dragon with shit
It'll be explained as part of his masterplan once he comes back. (Written in a 10 part novel by Abnett ofc)
lol
-Malcador the sigilite
It is The end and the death
but it's safe to assume that they're more advanced than eldar
Honestly, I think it would be less of a plothole if it was also like
Embedded in his soul somehow.
also why do people ignore malcadors vent slave
Like if they remove it, it would not only damage his brain
like are we just ignoring that
But also literally just take out parts of his soul
my question is how did necrontyr have such high tech at the beginning
they had living metal so early on
Rise and grind

Because it’s funny
Malcador is awful
I love him
kinda proves my later point if your saying the butchers nails affect the soul but 🤷♀️
i think it really is just another 40k case of being born at an earlier era means you're straight up better than everyone
There's a reason why he's besties with the emperor
Maybe but we... Also have zero idea how souls actually work

we do know how
They are important
the soul is the mind
its ||"whatever the author wnats to fucking do for a novel"||
Necrons
souls can get corrupted and change a persons behavior just saying
Jokes aside the body needs the soul to function in 40k
most necrons lost their minds after bio transferrance. the ones who haven't still are just shells of what they were
That’s the only solid lore we have
