Which puts 11th very early on
And 2nd before Alpharius/Omegon
One of the tempestus Aquillons minis does this
EVERY single info we have of the lost primarchs is here:
Precious little is known about two of the twenty Space Marine Legions, numbered II and XI, and their respective Primarchs, as their records are simply noted as having been "expunged" or "destroyed" in Imperial listings of the 20 Legions.
Nothing is known for sure about the names of the Legions, their Primarchs, homeworlds and their ultimate fate...
This entire page is all we got essentially
it sources and references every single mention they get lol
has arbitor ian made a lost primarch video yet
he must crush the dreams of all niche lore nerds
He off-handedly has mentioned them here and there
đ

imagine being a guardsman and opening your uplifting primer for toiler paper only to find some of the most censored information in the entire imperium
i think this is a little bit extra though đ
In the universe of Warhammer 40,000, the Emperor created twenty Primarchs and twenty Space Marine Legions to unify the galaxy. But by the time of the Horus Heresy, only 18 remained. What happened to the two lost legions and their primarchs, the 'forgotten' and the 'purged'? In this video, I take a look at the evidence.

3 years ago man
how time flies
there has to be a few BL writers who REALLY want to be the ones to write about the lost legions
The original warmaster was a Solar auxilia or imperial army nerd
I doubt GW would allow it
it was always written to be a mystery for the sake of mystery
yeah hence all the "hints" we got over the last 30 years
some of them really wanted to sneak in some stuff lol
im with the headcannon that one of the lost primarchs allied themselves with xenos
since it cant possibly be chaos or it would ruin the HH a lot
its not even headcannon its basically fact
since one 100% got either mind controlled or changed "sides"
i also think of one them is still alive for some reason
like hiding at the edge of the galaxy
Maybe, who knows
and the only crime he did was not want to fight lol
yeah thats one theory i actually like
Isn't there a suggestion that one of them is locked in the Black Cells
Yeah in the last edition custodian codex
the only primarch with a spine
it was regarding their number
the fact that the thing the Imperium finds so "abhorrent" being the fact that like
one of the Primarchs either was raised by xenos/went "native"
or simply didnt want to fight, etc
ironically is much better than some lame ass chaos related thing or falling to some mind control bullshit
yeah chaos would suck ass
it would also explain why some of the hints about them show that the living primarchs are sad about it
like all they did was not want to obey the emperor
not actively fight the imperium
The actual reason is that there were actually two previous Horus Heresy's, but every previous time the Emperor won, "Horus" got banished and then the Emperor would wipe all their memories and choose another Horus.
đ
Lol
i think there's evidence that there was some actual mind wiping going on after the lost primarchs got lost
but then you'd wonder if the emperor could get rid of primarchs so easily then why was horus such a surprise
Nah not even evidence like
Malcador literally outright says it to Dorn
the stuff was so bad they personally asked for their memories ot be erased
just hyping up the events we'll never truly know
pretty much
again its been 30 years and the lore still essentially tells us nothing which is good, we shall see if they can keep it going
The Emperor was actually at Grox burger and the server said "Enjoy your meal" and the Emperor said "You to" and the Lost Primarchs were both witnesses.
we'll see when they finish the scouring

No other option
more like the sequeling
See i was about to say thats the thing
if you look at the lexi page, half the other non-30k sources are from current setting novels as well
so its essentially inescapable
Maybe that's why Pandemonium is on hold
inevitably if it does get expanded it will be much worse than whatever we can imagine about it
since they hyped it so much
Would be pretty funny if the next Primarch model to get released wasn't Russ or Perturabo or anything, it was just completely out of the blue one of the Lost Primarchs
i would bust
that's my entire motivation too
the game would get a lot of publicity from the workshopgate or whatever chuds will call it
Cawl "And the best part is with her recovered geneseed, we can now make female Space marines for every Legion"
Guilliman "Good"
distant screeching
LOL
god forbid we get a little model variety for space marines
alas, never
but jokes aside
I legit cannot wait for the lost primarch reveal because its gonna be the lamest reveal ever
GW cannot resist themselves ever
would be funny if female space marines get the same armor as males so all GW does is sell head transfers
Itâs what they did for stodes
(and also still do them with new sets)
Yeah that
it's also because it would take so much redoing of existing model kits
Itâs inevitable
i dont think GW have the balls
Nah they dont
its WAY too much of a big change
the fanbase is ingrained with space marines as guys
its why im way more content with femtodes
since they are essentially superior transhumans
and it makes the astartes creation process even more caveman-like lol
same, we'll see i guess who knows
again GW legit has been very actively pushing diversity in their sets post-2018
and its been going VERY well
years prior you'd barely see any female minis unless it was some individual character and all the sets were just generic white plastic dudes đ©
are there female votaan
They can if they want
^
Ironkin are essentially robot dwarves
they are treated like living individuals by the Kin
that's pretty cool
lesbian ass haircut
The latest Codex even confirmed that the Ironkin can be Khals and any of the higher ranks, they're just rarer in the very top positions because the extra stress causes their systems to degrade faster
Yeah aka they literally can age and die
god votann lore is so cool
never seen a votaan augment before
They got tons in artwork
that shit looks rad

rad is good
what's that fire sword
Friend got the new codex a few hours ago and he's just rereading it over and over
they have light sabers
its not light
it's so over
i thought those were funky power swords on tabletop
These weapons make substantial use of plasma fields to either wreathe the blade or form the blade itself. Such weapons scythe through physical shields and body armor with ease.
They basically are
you can see the power node on the sword
its just better imperial tech
since they share the STC template ala humans but with better tweaks as the Leagues arent so backwards
i cant be tempted by non imperial factions
i will be stuck in the loreless part of the community
imagine having the best drip yet one book
Tbh most people dont care about the book atm they are here for the lore
Leagues lore especially is also super neat
i need more
we have the groundworks yeah
but where's the fluff
i NEED steeljack lore
like GW just dropped those out of nowhere

Rogal Dorn Tank moment
still no lore
i love that you even know it exists
well yeah because everyone made a huge deal of how sill yit is
"heres this brand new tank named after a primarch because we are out of ideas"
it's just that it's an extra big tank option
there was nothing really between leman russ and baneblade
and baneblade is a meme unit
Are you being fr

i dont know anybody who bought a baneblade with the sole intent of playing with it
This is heartbreaking news
I thought it would fucking devastate
it's way more popular with the model crowd
big expensive units rarely are meta
Well i didnt expect meta but is it like bad
Friend was telling me about the lore of one of the Leagues in the new Codex, the Urani-Surtr Regulates. Previous codex mentioned that they'rein a protracted war with a Necron dynasty and that any other League would have fell back and abandoned the contested territory but for some reason the URSR refuse to back down. While keeping their reason incredibly secret.
New Codex confirmed that they have discovered an ancient Votann Ancestor Core that is sleeping but still functional, older than any still operational in the galaxy and they are trying desperately to hold the line until they can find some way of waking it.
YEAH I love that new lore with them and their doomsday plot device like most other advanced factions in the setting, its super damn neat
Ok good good because when I hear meme weapon or meme unit I think like worst possible
iirc the codex also says since its been never activated its mind is "fresh"
another case of a macguffin going nowhere?
and can like provide them with way more OP shit if activated
The baneblade is a meme machine
Itâs never been good due to the fact itâs way too big on the tabletop
it's an expensive model you buy to be the centerpiece of your collection but it stays on the shelf mostly
If you bring it itâs hard to maneuver
It's not really a McGuffin, it's just the reasoning for a specific Leagues way of operating
^
I am going to force myself to use it in my mechanized force at least once
oldest core in the galaxy seems pretty important knowledge wise
it also gives you plot incentive if you play/run them as an army or just have a Kindred based in that League
Like they're super secretive and far more stubborn than regular Kindred would be because they're defending this and don't want anyone else to know about it
will we ever know though

probably years later
i think that's what defines a 40k macguffin
Prolly a few editions down the line
like does it actually matter
Maybe
This was like the best warhammer box ever I love it
a 40k mcguffin is usually relegated to novels
Double dorn double dorn
this is just codex fluff
Yea the plot importance of it isn't whether or not it works, it's that the importance gives the League it's narrative reasoning
^
so its not that big of a deal
its not a plot hook
its just for you the player whos a League fan to do stuff around it or come up with narrative shit
And it worked by not being comically huge
And brother it worked
a lot of codexes do these
i wonder how old it could be
Most codexes give hooks which is nice
but like could it be so old it was made before the votaan ancestors went to the core
The leman russ is such a baby tank I love it
that would be a twist
probably, who knows
terminus decree
it gives an actual reason for GK to exist
I mean no it doesnt
in the larger plot
GK exist because daemons exist
GK are just supporting characters whenever they're used
use the gamma pistol i made you wolf
Okay jokes aside the difference between a lore blurb and a hook
Is that a lore blurb is just worldbuilding/random lore
And a codex hook gives you a reason to build on something
And for army/hobbying motivations
Yeah and a mcguffin is a plot hook in novels/campaign books
which HAS to go somewhere
and have a conclusion
i feel like GK do need a motivation beyond just going around killing demons
evne if its lame or satisfying
its the entire reason they were created tbh
you cant really tweak that
it's as boring as BL lore
not lore i mean
The GKâa lore is fine
just their whole motivation
idk how somebody can be a hard core GK fan
what kind of lore can you create about it
KILL DAEMONS
Kill chaos corrupted stuff
Kill CSM and cultists
If you like the idea of killing chaos
Then GK are great
Theyâre basically evil dnd paladins
But not that evil
âAte cultists
âAte daemons
âAte people standing up
âLuv Draigo
Simple as
Except for all the collateral damage, sure
They honestly cause less long term damage then the mechanicus when fighting wars lol
Shits always fucked radiation wise after the mechanicus are done
mechanicus are also one of the few factions that know about the gray knights yes
Who has more plot armor?
Silver...
Grey...
...

I mean they literally are a silver bullet faction. They're even colored silver ffs
They specialize against one area of threat. Daemons and Cultists
"I'm here to kill Chaos" ahh
Depends on specialization and rank
Well at least still a few members
This is gonna be a stupid question.
But I'm gonna ask it anyways.
Do Inquistors outside of the Ordo Malleus and Hereticus know about Grey Knights? Would somebody on the Ordos Xenos know about them, or only surface level since it's not in their area of expertise.
What about their underlings? Like interrogators in their retinue for example
Yes
It depends
At the end of the day
But not all malleus inqusitors known either
lol
In Imperium malidictum the ability to request grey knight intervention as an acolyte of Ordo malleus
Is referred to as âREDACTEDâ Sanction
Do they at least know they
Exist? Or not even that
Like is that common knowledge for all Inquistors or is it just dependant.
And the only description for them is, âcalls forth the Hammer of Ordo Malleus, there will be consequences for their interventionâ
It depends
But once youâre decently experienced youâll know
Omnious
The one for Ordo xenos is âdeathwatch sanctionâ and the description is, requisition a deathwatch Killteam to intervene or assist in a situation
I guess to make sure that no Inquistor calls them for something relatively minor.
Like "there needs to be at least five greater daemons".
And the Ordo hereticus one is âSororitas sanctionâ and the description is the same but replace it with battle sisters
The meta text for the GM says execute your players if they call it and the planet isnât either exploding into a daemon world, thereâs a greater daemon and major daemonic incursion, or a minor daemonic incursion has gotten extremely bad
lol
Calls forth the Sisterhood of the Emperor, there will be consequences for their intervention
"Of course I know there's CONSEQUENCES. I'M LITERALLY FACING THEM RIGHT FUCKING NOW JUST HURRY UP THERE'S LIKE 10,000 CULTISTS."
But yeah the other 2 you just get in trouble for calling them in Willy nilly
The grey knights just blow your fucking head off on the spot
lol
Tbh the malidictum characters are lore wise pretty low on the totem pole
Power wise lol
Youâre like the shitty C team of an inqusitor
I'm just imagining somebody calling the grey knights for something inane. One looks around, sees nothing wrong, and then immediately pops the guy in the head.
"There's always one every century..."

But yeah imperium maledictum is hilarious because youâre so low down
On the totem pole, power/lore wise
So basically similar to Darktide. Except probably slightly better than a death row inmate.
Like even in the inqusition module youâre the âfuck upsâ/C and D listers
Of the inqusitor lol
Yeah
The only time where youâre elite is like
Random administratum scribe is your boss
Or literal criminals are your boss
So basically.
"I cannot be bothered to send my team out. Just send these fuckers. If they die, then something's actually wrong."
Then yeah, no shit a defector from the guard would clobber the shit out of the average ganger
Yeah basically
Maledictum?
Oh wait that's the collector's edition
Yeah
Oh the collectors edition
Checking it out in GW's website
Cubicle 7/drive through RPG
Sell it
Since itâs cubicle 7âs stuff
Least shitty hiveworld
Rain, sky cannot be seen despite said rain, more smog than air, crowded, mass violence and censorship
...
So London then
How should I disappoint the Emperor tonight?
Why doesnât the imperium use nuclear hand grenades
If you like that, wrath and glory is another good one if you want more options/more heroic stuff, but IM is perfect if you want that âone in ten billionâ feel
Also by cubicle 7
How good are voidsmen anyway
Random question, can daemons in realspace physically see a blank? I know they canât see them psychically, but surely daemons can still see in the visual spectrum
Somewhere between guardsman and tempestus
Oh they are more competent than the average guardsman?
If theyâre strong enough it can force them back into the warp or even banish them permanently
It depends, but I think they tend to be fairly competent
maybe we should juice blanks and throw that at demons
I donât think it works that way
But good idea
We could just throw blanks at the daemons
we should try just in case
Then you get to reuse the blank
science and all
We donât do science in the 41st millennium
We do science, lie about it, and say it was in a STC
ancient stc of oddly human sized blender
âThis was from an STC? A mason jar filled with the blood of a Blank?â
âYup, it was really weird, but who am I to question the will of the ancients and all thatâ
Culexus are cool
They are blanks aren't they
They seem like the deadliest a blank can get
What is the lore for this glass of juice, is juice a thing in 40k?
Specialized at their job. Which theyâre good at
Repelling boarders/boarding
Assassins are so wildly good
Theyâre all transhuman
The Imperium didn't hold back on what they wanted with the assassins
I want a sniper
Like the sniper
Perfected to sniperhood
Alright.
Depends on the ship, the crew, and where that ship goes.
Shitty logistics vessels traveling a safe charter route for the 3,000th time in a tucked away part of imperial space will likely have a dogass security crew
A battlefleet traveling to say... Vigilus, will likely be well trained and up to their jobs.
Daemons aren't physical beings very much. They have physical bodies, but only for the purpose of existing in realspace. Just because they have "eyes" doesn't mean they will use them the same way.
They have lungs, and can be strangled to death, but do not need air in any way whatsoever.
They have spines that can be broken to kill them, but don't really require a nervous system.
Also clearly when Horus got stabbed by the poop knife
He saw this
The poop knife
Just realised that Mechanicus 2 will have playable Khepra â€ïž
Sceavola, Rho, Khepra, Videx and Tiresu (?)
Will be commanders
A mere 70-80 years ago segregation was considered moral and right by a large chunk of the US population. Tell your average person today that you believe in segregation and they would be (rightly and correctly) appalled by the thought. Each generation criticizes the morality of the previous and more things become acceptable as others become vilified.
Do people understand that just because something is legal, doesn't mean you have to accept it as moral ?
LITERALLY.
I always hated the "we cant apply our modern view to these people" argument in general btw, its such a copout for any subject.
Also the other thing I notice is we have a whole generation of people w opinions they would die on a hill for, on things they have never experienced
^
I dont know where this fits in but ye
It that general view of "well how can WE know"
because we got tons of references and evidence to go off of it maybe?
"You can't judge galactic genocide by our modern standards bro!"
How dare we judge modern fictional characters, by modern standards, what if it hurts their feelings
One of the top comments says it the best imo
these are characters written by modern people
of coruse we can judge them, fuck off
Are we really that advanced tho or do we just like to make a big deal of being social justice chuds ?
I shall ponder this
Well there is certainly going to be soem things that the future human (well if they exist) who will look at out time in the consideration that what we did is bad, and certainly there are already people clamouring about those things already
Be it ecology/polution, maybe veganism/meat consumption...
Like you look at the people in power and you could say well there just as bad as these fictional creations
I mean
40k was built on political and authoritarian satire
unfortunately the shit those said people do today are sometimes comparable to things these evil cartoon characters do in warhammer novels

(or surpasses them ngl)
đ đ
uaaaagh end me
Average black templar player defending the emperor upon his action some blowing up the world made to worship him
Bro what the actual fuck
Does this dude think that xenophobia and mass murder and slavery being bad is a modern day value
Was Hitler just a ambitious trailbrazer to this dude
(they're glorified in most movies set in those time periods so yes)
^
This guy would lap up Nazi propaganda
Like pretty blatantly
I mean his actual argument is "you can't judge them because they're in a bad spot"
Can that user please get tazed
Not this fake moral panic or whatever
Which his actual argument is also weak seeing as about 80% of the threats to 40k humanity are literally the direct result of the Emperor
yeah its literally the same cognitive dissonance that helldivers fans unironically vomit up not realizing that every enemy you are fighting is a manufactured hostile from actions by super earth
There's his alt too trying to say "well umm the emperor is old and is executing a millenia long plan to keep humanity alive!"
The guy was notoriously stupid and arrogant, his fellow perpetuals literally stayed away from him because he's a maniacal dictator
One of the reasons why I'll always hate authors from trying to make him a good guy, Abnett especially
that closing words from him at the end of End and Deaf Part 3 of "you the reader should decide just like these characters if the emperor was right, justified or an evil person or not"
fuck off, honestly lol
He's justified to himself but I'm not sure even that's true
As far as I've read he's basically riding the coat tails of a martyr complex and winning downwards
Trying to figure out if the emperor was ever justified is just like trying to argue that well actually hitler did save their economy and its not something i ever want to try to argue

i think its pretty blatant everything he did was selfish and freakish
(for the record the Nazis actually outright didn't save the economy, they picked up a healing economy from the Weimar and then looted a large portion of the population and started pillaging Europe
)
I was just going to say they didn't save their economy they just stole off all their neighbors
i was not advocating for anything I was comparing warhammer fans to nazis
we arent allowed to have fun media that portrays humanity's worst because mfs will look at it and be like erm actually this is me fr
It's just a fkn
Painful thing
Where people see "justification" and think it means "they're right actually"
my homebrew solution to scaring them away is to spray deodorant and paint pride colors on my miniatures
Like the imperials justify stuff for themselves, and due to the massive skew of imperium centred content, that justification looks valid in a vacuum
Especially when they portray marines and shit as good guys
"wow this salamander saved a child, now she can grow up to be a member of the secret police, or Die at 20 in the local slave factory!"
we did it guys we saved the galaxy
Where do those civilians go GW
where do they go
Man andor is good , I didn't realise Andy serkis was in it!
(Andy serkis plays wh40k)
Damn, I thought he was cool. Guess he's just a nerd
Wym he's cool as heck
"Friendly fire will not be tolerated"
Best arc in S1

Just halfway through ep 8

Like obviously not even a spoiler they are gonna break out
but man its so fucking epic when it happens
I was like ok surely we are not gonna be waiting 6 years đ
Bro
Man was in the wrong place at the wrong time đ
Dude thats one of the best scenes in that entire thing
"You look suspicious. Why are you sweating?"
"Because its hot out here?"
legit too close to real life ngl
lmao
Whoa no no he Said watch WATCh
"Are you part of it?"
"Part of what?"
"I'm asking the questions"
^
Genuinely as funny as it is unsettling
they made this one trooper so offputting
lmfao
Guy literally pisses himself while he's getting interrogated
There saying he's someone he's not
And he killed his wife
It's the irony that he gets arrested for no reason because of laws that were put in place in response to what he actually did.
Yeah , and the other big part is that they actually have no idea and have got the wrong person
But going against the establishment is a big no no
Especially if its just standing around, cant have that
does the imperium have an official rock band
boltthrower?
You don't know bolt thrower?
no
Old death metal band that used to have gw artwork on there albums
They used to be the official sound track to warhammer iirc?
There are probably some planet specific groups
But we don't really know any of them
theres probably some cathedral choir singing during ceremonies
probably some local zealot enforcer singing in the streets
Oh that does exist, we see if with the Sisters for example
what do they sing though? god emperor save the god emperor?
chaos definitely seem the rock n roll type, with noise marines having electric death guitars

There music's actually pretty decent too
that art is old for sure yeah
Probably some songs from Prince of Egypt, they go hard
Whatâs the title of a magos whoâs area of study is the Warp?
Something something, essence of the soul
i'll be honest I don't know (well for English)
It's like a cultural element that spreads via imitation or non genetic reasons
^
Effectively itâs any idea thatâs âviralâ
Oh so it's really just meme as in the internet thing
I bet the tau have like, fine dining and recreational music
Any thought or idea that can spread easily
its been around since the 70's
nowadays with the 2000's though it boils down to "internet joke"
Huh Richard Dawkins came up with it
but its still very apt in what it does
He came up with the word yeah
For explaining cultural inheritance in genetics or something like that
Yeah and memes still very much shape cultural ideas and concepts
people said Abaddon is an Armless Failure for years
Lol
^ and this people is an example of a person shaped by the idea of memes more than learning stuff themselves

Yes
Do they have cafes and stuff
Tau cities probably are better than Nightcity from Cyberpunk
Yeah you just thrown into a cast system
I feel like the average tau probably has access to recreational facilities compared to the rest of the factions
And not the deldar kind
the first one yes
Nice
yep its one of the best ones regarding artwork
I bought it when gw had the promotion of doing the codex art with the book on a canvas like thing

How recent is the addition of tau
They weren't there from the beginning right
To the setting itself, I don't mean inlore
2001
So, I guess the original creators of the setting didn't create the race? Or maybe they did
The original creators left at like 2nd edition
it has 2 meanings now
internet memes are just jokes
kind of, they can still spread ideas
They are pearls of wisdom, don't let anyone convince you otherwise
yeah but thats like using a comedy act to talk about philosophy, can you do it? sure but you ruin the act
You very much dont imo
memes can actually be weaponized and be harmful or contradictory
and very much sway the opinion of people
Huh it seem like they may have renamed one of the Mechanicus character for the sequel, from Caprix to Captrix
sadly true, people are stupid and easy to sway
Yeah we had 3 presidential campaigns in the US use memes to affect their campaigns
https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Caprix
The one that told you to attack the lords iirc
Caprix is Prime Hermeticon, one of the highest ranks one can achieve as a Magi. Just underneath Faustinius, she is mainly focused on the highest priority targets within any given mission. Most of the time she will deal with targets that Faustinius doesn't need to address personally. When a major threat appears, Caprix is the first to know, and w...
Playable Khepra is enough for me
It's so funny watching a video of jfk and Nixon debate, and then Trump debate anyone, jfk and Nixon were so cordial and actually conceded points in their debates
And those two men probably couldn't have disagreed more ideologically
political debates have been dead since GW Bush sadly, they are nothing but shouting matches
Meanwhile the Donald " HES A SLEEPY CROOK"
and yet JFK still pardoned him
That's cause Trump isn't a politician, he is a Show-man and/or ||a Scam artist||
^
Just ignore the longstanding history of political satire
Most of the scandals hes been in would a death sentence for most presidents
but people at this point dont care i guess lol
Death of America
As it was
Truly a shame
I swear I saw this thing somewhere about meme culture and its impact on the world and how it can sometimes manifest shit into existence like the warp does lmao
I mean it can
It really can sometimes
the Warp example is dumb tho, thats paranormal nonsense lol
its just collective thinking
It's sad cause it really is going down, America changing was needed, but not that way đ
That was my example đ
SHUT UP
satire isnt really philosophy but telling the truth of the matter in an over the top and humorus/dreadful way
That sound like the Grimdank interpretation of the Ork gestalt field
Memes
The DNA of the soul
Said it already. Keep up.
anyway
But I get the thing hes saying im 100% sure I watched a video on that as well, might be the same vid actually lol
the 40k example is a great showcase of it ironically
since half of this fandom is like a mindless voter-base

đ
This chat is a memetic hazard
And are often acting against their best interest
"GW IS RUINING THIS HOBBY"
Says the person that doesnt even interact with the hobby
most SNL skits are exactly what happens behind closed doors but more extreme
Being late is my specialty
Satire is comedy and politics is the philosophy of governance
A meme-virus, perhaps a variation on "memory virus", is a condition which alters the normal, balanced cognitive function of those afflicted. People with a meme-virus are known to be hungry for knowledge of any sort, from the most rudimentary trivia to daemonic secrets, doing anything and everything they can to acquire it. They often travel with ...
Does the steel legion ever get deployed somewhere outside armageddon
Yeah they do
Yes
Damn, doesn't seem like they have the time
Oh lmao I'm simple I thought u meant me smh
That's why you don't anwser their question, you're enabling them
uaghh
Well half the planet is chaos and the half of the other half is Orks
They still gotta pay their tithe
^
Considering theres still examples of armageddon regiments fighting in other parts of the galaxy during the Rift as well too lol
imagine
the arbites get deployed to armageddon because they cant pay their tithe
" ah yes, first we fight through the armies of orks and chaos, then we go beat up the governor for not paying the tithe"
Their reaction would be basically that yes
arbites dgaf
they'll go toe-to-toe with nids lol
i can appreciate that actually
Memetic hazard is knowledge that is dangerous to know. Like how knowing about chaos can make you more exposed to corruption
Same thing.
oh ive never seen that clip
wheres it from
Little different
Tithes series by GW
Tithes is so good
time to add it to the list
I loved all 2 out of 3 eps
But fuck the third one just fucks me up
the Ultramarine one is slop but the others were great
"We dont have any avaliable space on the cargo platform."
"burn it"
people got so mad at that, i love it
some parts of this fanbase legit cant cope with the fact that the Imperium is self-defeating and incompetent
Just look at the overall warhammer community and their treatment of the lore
YEP
People still hate matt ward to this day
they werent even fucking born when that GK codex came out

Funny all Iâve heard is something something female custodies or something
That speaks more towards the circles you're in tbh
shes literally a medium part of 1 episode lol
I can deal with that even if I don't like a lot about HOW they were introduced. Or the story they launched in tandem of it
My controller ran out while I was watching a lore video and that was the next one not my fault
The sentence is death
đ«Ą
If I had a friend whose main takeaway from an animated series was the presence of a woman I would beat them to death with whatever I could find
LOL
The whole point is to mock human politics I thought
Basically yeah but like
theres a point where you kinda cant anymore
from how goofy IRL politics gets

Or the Onion
"Real life has gotten so cartoony we basically cant do anything with it"
the point is to see everything every character does in 40k, then do the opposite in your life to live a wholesome existence
The white house tweets like the comedically corrupt governors in warhammer 40k lore present themselves its so fucking funny
Also it was something I hadnât heard much about yet anyway the custodies so I was curious on what the problem was
I haven't honestly really been paying attention to politics lately
Never forget the "Do not be tempted by the sin of empathy" tweet
Tbh w you I don't even understand most of it
My honest reaction
It's all kinda silly
No fucking way
They do be speaking like the governor in Krieg
So perfect
Is Tithes the multi episode series where like every episode's art style is different?
Like they had one about guardsmen vs orks and something about an inquisition squad and a temptus scion
You're possibly thinking of Secret Level ?
No
Tithes is pretty good
im watching guardsmen vs kommandos rn
Basically TLDR
Custodians didnt have women and just had men as members for like 10 years or so (even though it was never outright said them having female members couldnt be possible)
They finally get introduced in some fluff text as just members without any big reveal as having always been there
Thats it really. Basically the idea of transhuman women in power armor is scary to most of the fandom when its essentially the biggest "who cares" harmless addition into the lore.
My fav tithes one or the one w the possessed marine
Oh
Me when they put the people with the strongest wills into the custodies
so, are yall subscribed to warhammer plus, is the content worth
Real.
It is somewhat now
back then though absolutely not lol
Especially when thatâs their entire thing
Pretty much yeah
For me it's mostly worth it for the exclusive minis alone
Somehow the fandom didn't like 9 ft tall muscle women
custodians are suppose to be the Gigachad Exampleâą of humanity
There's just something about the art style of most Warhammer animations that look like etsy commissions to me
I can't get around it
The next step per se
Dude I remember seeing a post which was like
"GW adds canonical giant muscle mommies to the setting and people are upset? This fandom deserves nothing
"
i like women in all the 40k organizations, except sisters of battle for some reason, ive never been fond of em
Nah they just want Rinda Karnak
Nothing wrong said there
Last year's Kasrkin one was so awesome
thats based on an artwork too
I prefered the AoS one for that year
That artwork got me into guard
Kopinski strikes again
She makes a great Drukhari
thats the one
damn, tithes has the best human with a chainsword vs ork duel ive ever seen, it looks plausible
I just didn't like the stupid ass story they added with female stodes because it's so brain dead
I'm sad I missed out on the World Eater Terminator
đ đ« I'm a fool
This one is nice too
I got this one instead of the World eater, couldn't resist the little goobers
That's not Warhammer+, it was an event mini
THE LITTLE KNIGHT IS SO CUTE WHAT
I think wh is not for me im too stoopid
This years the first time I actually got both because they're both so peak
Lil guy
Its giving sassy nurgling
Mini-Me ahh mini
Its a tough decision for me
The Tithes Ep 3 Kommandos v Astra Militarum
#astramilitarum #imperialguard #warhammer40k #animation

The little guy also had like no assembly, he's just a whole ass little guy, you just stick him on a base
It makes me want to paint epic 30k
I need a sassy nurgling to put on my computer
I lowk think I lost my warhammer plus miniature
What he do
Don't talk to me or my son again
lmao
My son really enjoyed being a chaos warrior for a day
I built him while outrageously unsober and I know hes going to turn out to be in my fridge or something stupid
I just found another box of these guys in the cupboard next to me yesterday and I have no recollection how I came to have two sets of them
Lucky
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAV-sScYb9E I like how they did abaddons voice
This is NOT my Animation. It is one scene from "Hammer & Bolter | Artefacts" on Warhammer+.
"Let him speak"
Abaddon makes a cheeky appearence. All limbs included.

its suitably evil cartoon
nu uh
Sadly the little guy doesn't actually have any rules, the little goobers are just extras/tokens with no actual effect while the big girl is a regular Chaos sorcerer
Yeah they are suppose to be like "familiars" i think?
im assuming everything on warhammer plus is like...canon
hence why they all look like they came out of a Smurfs cartoon lol
Every official material made by GW is canon yes
also check your DMs

What lore does the sentinel have if any
Uh its one of the oldest minis on the range so quite a bit
but its not a lot since... well it sjust a combat walker lol
A Sentinel is a bipedal, all-terrain walker used by the Imperial Guard for a number of missions including reconnaissance and search-and-destroy.[4]
When the nascent Imperium reunited with the Knight Worlds during the Great Crusade, they found that, in addition to the Knights used in battle by the nobility, there were also lesser unarmed frames used by Drovers â the non-noble herdsmen who tended the fields and estates. One such popular and tested frame, the Drover suit, would be armed and adapted into the Sentinel widely used by the Imperial Army and Imperial Guard. [23]

Found the lil fellers, planning on creating a small scenery plint for the full group at some point
Sentinels are really cool
And you have those 2 new ones for Horus Heresy
Second one kinda looks like a dreadnought without arms
And longer legs
Is that story about the perpetual engine sentinels that they dont turn off real
Ironically it looks still cool
lmao
I THINK theres literally a walker in Battlefield 2142 thats just this thing
The Ironstrider is an advanced powerplant used by Adeptus Mechanicus walkers such as the Ironstrider Ballistarius and Sydonian Dragoon.[1]
The device was created by the Tech-Priest Aldebrac Vingh in early M33. It is a near perpetual motion engine and is said to violate the laws of thermodynamics. Once walking, the engine essentially powers itsel...
I mean kinda
Its based on some actual stuff IRL, I THINK its a lightbulb?
or something that people dont wanna turn off, i cant recall
also to "catch" the Ironstriders back they literally lasso them like horses lol
GYATT
the admech definitely have some kind of western theme going on, with the revolver gunslingers and stuff
Its just one aspect of them for the skitarii largely
they are more Da Vinci too, a lot of 40k factions got a soup of cultures most of the time
yeah except space wolves who are just like....more viking than the 100 season show about them
seems weird they missed out on samurai marines with samurai style armor, apparently there is a chapter like that
its just not prominent
even halo got their samurai spartan marketing tool
Probably just never got to invest in it much back in the day
Still want a miniature that is a Diligence being pulled by a pair of Serbery
I love the Serberys
i like the serberys too
i like the mounted skitarii cav in general
even the striders look nice
also this tithes episode is sick
I like the voice acting
Cool
also, i feel like theres a lot of footage of apothecaries doing their job of collecting geneseed from their dead brothers alone
in hostile battlefields usually
even in the guilliman trailer theres just this one apothecary harvesting gene seed and a tyranid ambushes him
feels like its a regular enough important job they ought to send a squad with the poor guys everytime
Well they usually do but geneseed collection tends to happen post-battle
or when the battlefield the corpses are in is not covered in enemies
well
the tithes ultramarine apoth is cool
hes just flexing to the salamander like " im an ultramarine, my blood is important, your zeal is questionable"
and the salamander just goes like " Im missing an entire arm and helping you do your job you degenerate ape, dont question my zeal again "
and the ultramarine " alright bro relax, thanks"

I hope they expand on the Serberys being dogs that the Skitarii grew up alongside, maybe a Serberys Marshal whose Serberys look like a Bear instead of a horse.
would be dope yeah
oh shit
second ep has a sister of silence, an arbitrator and a custodian all in the first 5 minutes

Yeah it's badass
First time we ever get to see a custodes fight I think
Christ wraight if you give me watchers of the throne 3 my life is yours!!!!
the people confined are psykers right?
or is it just the one guy
Yeah they are all psykers
They are the psyker tithe
^
they got no idea they are going to Terra to be sacrificed
its why the astra-telepathica chick with the helmet lies to them

so are they cringing in the beginning because of the shadow in the warp or because of the sister of silence blank
"All is well."
Shadow until the Sister steps in
Well sacrificed or pushed into service
Because you get to live if you can be useful
id rather die than be a sanctioned psyker tbh
treated like a freak in every corner before you just get killed at some point

you are essentially a slave-mage
also the sister telling everyone in sign " you and everyone else on this planet is doomed" and the custodian going " all is well" via translation LOL
Being a slave is better than getting your soul absorbed into big e
wild sentence đ
id rather die trying to steal one of these arbitrator shotguns and shooting them square on the mouth point blank

I absolutely love the sister just saying the absolute truth and the stodes just stone walling her
Stand and die protocol engaged!
also these are fake arbitrators, they have human voices
wheres the maul va
" QUAAAILLL BLOCKFODDDDER!"
The joke is that even our arbites are Rejects per se
i think that guy might just be a straight up psychopath among the ranks
I mean you probably have to be psychopath to be an arbite
well
