one planet died in starwars
The most "grim dark" was the 2000-2010s period.
just one and it was not a footnote
it really wasnt
So we teach kids that its ok if one entire planet of people die
Also no that planet was a massive deal
keep confusing it with Commorragh

They just exploded a planet with a moon sized space station for a show of power
they sound simillar on purpose am pretty sure
Thats like a very extremely important plot point
They didn't really tell me any of the lore now I think of it
OK but warhammer is dark but star wars on the other hand
It was all about the table top
you got me there
tbh they just cut to black
Probably explains why my lore knowledge is so bad
^
Everybody knows child killing in media is only dark when you see it happen
the corpse is my guy the corpses
No joke this yeah. Movies avoid killing kids or just "imply" it.
its a huge ratings thing
meanwhile tho adults are open season
Kids killing people in Star Wars all the time
LMAO
Star Wars Rebels where these teenagers kill like thousands of stormtroopers
Do we even know if Alderaan had people on it if they never showed it
Ahh to be young and playing the original fallout 1/2
Just things to think about
Oh, the cinematic line of " I killed them all, the women, and children, too."
rebel propaganda the planet was a death world with a bunch of rebel spies
It is so insane when a movie actually is just like fuck it I think I won't cut to black
And its like ayo wait white boy getting down and then its the most graphic shit I've ever seen and now I understand why they choose to do that
The Clone Wars Ahsoka was very young, she was still killing left and right.
People enjoy that!
ok here is the thing star wars is marketed more towards pre teens and up
war hammer is marketing towards even younger
How many head shaped dents do the walls in your room have
I mean, if you read the old Star Wars EU, the theme is very mature.
I'm still kinda mad Disney just decided like a good 40% of starwars was to be thrown away
star wars is also very much marketed towards kids
if your so dense to notice star wars has phases where it aimed at younger viewers then aged up
So on one hand, you have kid shows and marketing. On the other hand, a lot of adult tensions in the media that kids don't consume.
its why shit like Andor was groundbreaking
am all for teaching kids mature life lessons in a healthy way but war hammer is brain dead violence
I cannot say a time in history where starwars has specifically aimed for teens and up besides Andor because thats more than teens
They would not want to do that
Nobody cares about it, they are here to paint minis and maybe read a few books, violence will always be cool to most kids/younger people.
idk why this is so hard to get
I mean, COD is also brain dead violence... And I hear of the legendary voice chat in that game.
toys/commercial stuff have been peddling violent shit to kids since WW2 lol
I'd actually say it teaches them to socialise and what not
if I had a kid I wouldnt let them play cod tell there 13 imma be honest
I am generally not a fan of massive companies trying to get kids hooked onto a brand. But if its going to be anything, let it be a creative outlet
If something's like aliens versus predators can get toys for kids then why can't warhammer introduce them into some younger audience you know
Kids don’t want to be knights fighting dragons anymore, they wanna be firing a machine gun into zombies lol
Halo is also violent, Halo CE is almost a horror game, and kids like that.
Halo is rated M so not really an example that applies
I swear it used to be 15+
I played Cod2 as a girl when I was like 9 or 10
I was a gears of war baby. It did damage
also THIS
I get some of yalls points but here is the thing I dont mind kids buying warhammer figures to play the table tops but I dont like the game's lore being branded to them
I remeber the dday bit and stalingrad so well lmao
Lmfao yep
I mean you can think that, it still will be branded to them.
GW knows this shit sells
The lore generally isnt branded to you unless you go looking for it which is pretty much the entire point
have you talked to a kid about any video game's lore they dont shut up
kid's are like magnets to that stuff
Hey, I hate a lot of things in 40K, too.
The problem with SW to me was it never went anywhere. They need to do things that actually expand the universe beyond the numbered episode films. Tell stories /in/ the universe that aren't inner connected with everything else. Andor and the mandalorian are great, hell even skeleton crew. But they are still super connected to the episodic films.
Just give me a heist, or a detective, or literally any other type of story in that universe that isn't connected to the films. FFS
There's probably a difference between a video game story and buying a box of miniatures
I need to try watching andor properly I can't get into it
Your comparison relies on the aspect that the child is actively being fed into a storyline
I been told it's really good
it gets good the start is a bit meh
I am said people
Death.
Its the best ever star wars media made and we wont get anything like it ever again.
its overhyped for a very good reason
I'm at the start it's just I can't get myself to watch ep 2 lol
Because it is actually mature.
Idk why but star wars just annoys me now 😭
Acolyte was an eh show...
Theres literally almost zero "star wars"y stuff i nteh show though
barely any stormtroopers, no jedi, no force powers, nothing
its just actual rebel shit lol
I'm gonna watxh ep 2
If you watch it as a spin off and not some "but SW have to do this and that". It is good. Slow burn.
It legit gets good, be strong
say when is warhammer gonna make that show
The first 5 episodes of season 2 are a waste of time, but the back half is amazing.
didnt amazon pick it up or something
And season one was amazing
Without the 1st half, the second half of S2 wouldn't be that good.
I'd entirely dismissed Star Wars as the most bungled and deadbrained series on the planet but Andor was good
I never was that star wars person , bro I didn't even finish the Disney movies I got to the 2nd one at the movie thetre and didn't bother to see the 3rd
awful take
So much build up, if you watch it the 2nd time, you understand the action of the characters.
It is in limbo.
I hate the fandom for idolizing him like some messiah tbh
Thats kinda the funny thing with Andor
so many of these star wars shows with popular IP characters flopped
yet somehow
the show with THE most "who the fuck was this guy again?" is the most peak one
its hilarious
Rogue One is so good.
100%
It's the most boring shit.
"boring shit" is crazy
thats mostly because the same creator of Andor, Gilroy saved it post-production and reshot like half the movie from being the regular slop we all hate.
All he does during interviews is list of names of novels or wadhammer characters
It annoys me so bad
The combat scenes in Rogue One is the best of the series honestly. Feel like an actual war.
You can tell that the first 5 episodes were written before they knew they rest of the seasons the show was going to have were cancelled.
"So I hear you enjoy this hobby right?"
Henry cavil leans back
"Yes...the horus heresy" like oh my god shut the fuck up
Allright allright I'll sit down and priperly watch it , you were correct about rdr2
also Gilroy is involved heavily with the story department, there isnt any "written before they knew what they were gonna do"
like, what
LMAO
RD2 is another beast tbh
Rogue one was pretty brutal
Rogue One is
The image of god is often paralyzing
I have an entire gallery of all the hamster drawings and whenever I open it up my phone turns bright white and my face just becomes consumed by light
It might be brighter than my flashlight
Andor was the pilot in rouge one right?
Nah
Why do you do that to yourself?
Eh???
My man is really a nobody...
Okie gotya
I am but a shepherd
The pilot in Rogue One has long black hair.
😑
the pilot was that one Bodi guy

tho hes not really a huge character in the movie just a plot device to get the story moving
Died by a grenade, poor the guy.
He legit had one of the worse deaths too
guy blows up inside an entire cargo-lifter 💀
Did that dumbass robot die i forget
his name is K2SO you fucking degenerate
Also, the fighter/bomber pilots sacrificed themselves to accomplish the missions.
praying he breaks your neck 🙏
yeah like 90% of the attack force of rebels dies in the final battle
which was unseen at the time lol
Like, some of the pilots I thought they would be war heroes for the rebel or something, but they all died.
That's kinda a big reason I enjoyed that movie
The end was pretty peak that was a awesome battle
the entire Scariff engagement is great yeah
That blind jedi guy
its like vietnam mixed with the pacific theatre
bro got cooked by a grenade 😭
Unheard of for most franchise films nowadays, actual loss
I swear there's a game w that map In it
Feel like most movies recently end as they begin with nothing that really happens
correct 😔
Movies tell situations not story's lately
I loved that update
Even the avengers movies
Shoretroopers!!! Wahoooo!!!
Watching Andor, a character who you know is going to die, is funny, because he wasn't some random person.
Shoretroopers are so good man, they barely do anything but look cool as fuck so we all cheer for them

jet 2 music plays
Yeah they really didnt do shit
We really need more stormtrooper regiments or whatever showcased
I saw a great meme
where it was mocking how dumb the stormtrooper naming convention is
"Oh this planet has a giant ditch? Put Stormtroopers there and call them Ditch Troopers."

ITS LITERALLY WHAT THEY ALWAYS DO
Lunch trooper...
Im ngl I googled ditch troopers because I thought you were referring to an actual brand of trooper i haven't heard of
Being so fr
Sand troopers
They really are so uncreative I never noticed that
Scout troopers

Helmet on at all time.
Ok i guess Death Troopers is different too
Still a generic name but its not just describing them
stuff like Death Troopers is fine because they look badass as shit
Lego star wars was so peak
Captain Plasma was a waste.
They remastered them recently I'm pretty sure
yeah but its not the same man
the original games are so better
WHERE THEY ALSO DIDNT FUCKING TALK

Saw it on the gamepass , what they talk now??
Idk i like captain plasma
it was a trend started with Lego Batman 2 YEAAARS ago
all lego games have them talking now
its fucking terrible, removes all the comedy

Sue me liberals, I enjoyed the new dialogue for what it was
😑
same
no matter what, 40k never fails to nail the epic poses
@storm jungle I think I have a literary equivalent to the first part of season two that might convey my distaste. The first part of season two is book 10 of the wheel of time. It sets up everything that comes after it, but it's a slog.
I wish that they bring back the 54mm/1:32 scale game.
That titan game?
Just too many flat panels and theyre just one color, not interesting for me
Inquisitor was a tabletop miniatures game based in Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 (Warhammer 40K, or simply 40K) universe. Whereas the main line of Warhammer 40K games is based on squad based tactical warfare, Inquisitor focused on a small group of player characters akin to many role-playing games. Inquisitor miniatures are no longer produce...
Oh the basic marines are boring
Titanicus game is smaller scale btw, so that they can make the titan size reasonable.
1:32 is really more for people to collect the mini than playing anything. Big enough for details while not taking too much space.
I meant the old warhammer epic game that has the 8mill squads and the cardboard buildings you out together from like early 90s I want to say?
They had like 32mill red and blue titans
I don't know about that one.
Hold on I'll find it
Mt freind had like boxes and boxes full of this
Warhammer epic
His dad collected warhammer back when you had to order the models through white dwarf
Interesting
Be careful who you call ugly in highschool
Non-warhammer stuff is allowed here too
As long as it's not smut or Ai stuff
Oh there's gonna be a Red Sonja movie
God did I forget how unarmoured she is 💀
Considering how red Sonja looks in the comics this is not goin g to be good.
The trailer look good tbh
woudl look great on a dark angels diorama
Ah Dark Angles AKA Everything the Averange Black Templar wish they were.
I think it is funny that people consider the chapter that mercy kills with fire to be the most ethical
No they don’t
Completely different type of knight plus BT already existed as the Templar brethren back when big E made the legions.
Infact the only similarity BT and DA have is they are knights, albeit two different sub type of knights.
Its mostly just bias and memes
the fandom is very braindead when it comes to the infatuation with Salamanders, GW is also simply bad at presenting the Sallies as ever doing anything morally questionable
they burned down a entire planet because it was at peace with the eldar
Thats 1 incident
the lore very much doesnt do a good job of showing them doing anything properly bad lol
Ok, but which Legion didn't do something equal too
their reasoning was hella messed up tho
it was even these people are traitors they where just pissed of that eldar helped
Again, which Legion hasn't done that too
Le big wholesome good guy faction cuddly caring marines
most chapters would be pissed bc in their eyes it is betrayal while the salamanders where just being vindictive
The Blood Ravens Chapter master does backflips in terminator armor.
Not a Legion
Also everyone is saying the IOM is cooked ....may I remind everyoen thought these guys were cooked during hte PAPI WAR and unlike the IOM the enitre universe was united against them.
They do in the rulebooks smh
To be fair, it's partially human nature to attach to anything good
Even if it isn't... good

The salamanders are more like the least worst because they won't shoot a kid for accidentally being in their way
only took them to like 9th edition
and to retcon what a pre-existing company previously did

The name was already there
It’s a good change smh
Also 8e
The only dark skinned chapter being the most racist
???
Why did writers do that
Funny
Actually*
They’re not the most racist, Kyme just decided to make it so that they were canonically racist. There’s a few other chapters that are racist lol
Red Scorpions literally do genetic purity tests for people on their recruitment worlds
To some unknown defined “pure” scale
The salamanders racism is just irl “casual” racism but in 40k
There is that one primaris chapter that would clean an entire planet if they see a single person "impure".
Oh yeah lmao
Of course they only dare to do that on planets lacking of IG or other SM protection.
They’re a UM sucessor iirc
Gotta kick down
Try that on a named guard regiment planet and they would have been obliterated.

@storm jungle
More like
Bitchfinder Dumblara (She/Her)
Wtf is this type of laugh called anyways
I always just called it "Rich Bitch" laugh
Since that's what it is
Do you remember who they are exactly?
For some reason, I couldn't find them anywhere anymore.
lmfao real
That’s a really nice color scheme, ngl
Dark Angels really are the best legion
Real
For the dark angels and their sucessors its always drip o'clock
Being the first legion, they got first dibs on all the color combinations
why does the imperium use black ships
like why dont they farm the psykers like they do with the navigators
seems redundant to waste resources hunting them down
Cause new folks are constantly becoming psychic
Navigators are hereditary
or maybe the emperor likes free ranged food😔
navigators farm themselves
I don't think psykers are a hereditary thing
The vast majority don't survive long enough to have children
Hey can characters from agents of the imperium be the warlord in your army, just curious
the imperium probably doesnt want psykers to have the political power that navigators wield
Aside from the assassins yes
Neat
So how much damage can a longlas do?
Like they're supposed to be sniper rifles (kinda)
So I expect they'd do more than a regular lasgun
They’re a lot more powerful. A long-las draws enough power to drain the power cell in a single shot (if I’m remembering Mad Larkin from GG correctly). But this is 40k and a dozen sources will tell you a dozen different things, all of which are true. I don’t think there’s a universal, definitive power level for the long-las.
Long Las tends to refer to the gun rather than the powerpack afaik (though theyre typically paired with hotshot packs) the gun itself is basically an extended lasgun to make the shots go further (better focus less diffusion etc) and typically issued with a high magnification scope
according to the wiki the tanith go a step further and use overcharged hotshot packs because reasons
Navigator is hereditary, is pysker at all hereditary?
do the imperium allow psykers to have children?
Like does a pysker having a kid increase the odds of more pyskers?
... i suppose some inquisitors are psykers and theyd have kids, idk if psykers have higher chances of having psyker kids though
id expect it not to be the case, with navigators its more that theyre a mutant/abhuman strain that happens to be psychically sensitive, where typical psykers are a result of a psychically sensitive soul rather than mutation iirc
Also depends greatly on pattern and modification and etc.
More grist for the mill
I dont think imperium reguarly imposes bans on children
Lot of talk about the terminus decree in 40k social media. Was it revealed or something?
Or just theorizing?
It got revealed as one of the last orders the emperor gave before he went fully comatose, which is if he tries getting off the throne, is going to ascend into a chaos god or “revives” and gets off the throne to put him back on it or kill him in the case of ascension
It makes sense I guess
Oh well
But eh
It’s very whatever lore to me
Tbh
They’ve been revealing more about it every GK codex since 5e lol
I did enjoy the funny memes of custodes curbstomping GK’s
My favorite one was some dude who said individually a grey knight would beat a custodes due to pysker powers but more custodes means they win
Which was really funny
It is not far fetched considering how overpowered psykers are. If not for the Wolfies able to go toe to toe against GK.
So odd question, but should vashtorr get his own unique daemons?
Custodes did well slapping the shit out of the thousand sons
As a model unit.
Which are better(?) pyskers so idk
I figured they just mulch anything space marine shaped as long as it unamed lol
I think he should
I'm not sure about this.
It would be neat to see some sort of mini daemon engines.
Also, the banana boys did get assistance from the SoS.
And they will again in a grey knight fight
Individually though I’d imagine a custodes would just cut them in half before they can cast a spell
Rush em
Also like
The sisters of silence
The dedicated a anti psyker unit most often seen in company of the custodies
Well, they say 1 on 1. You are not going to bring a tank in because there is a tank in SM company.
I dislike GK, but considering their selection, you have to get a young child with a high psychic power index, which means early psychic awakening, many psykers get their awakening later in life, not get killed, get selected, then get some over the top training to even be considered to join the GK.
SM librarians are well trained to invoke their power with barely any warm up, the GK is even more than that.
In a physical feat though, they are just marines.
In a full scale fight, with the SoS, 100 custodians can make the entire GK extinct.
I find it funny that people consider the Terminus decree to just be a post-it note telling the GK to go murk the Emperor
Cause its part of the Imperium, and the Imperium is meant to be a self defeating faction
are there any pre-existing chapters that have a focus on Plasma based weaponry?
The Dark Angels are focused on Plasma, so many of their successors are likewise
dark angels and their sucessors
to tie into the Dark King shit from the End and the Death
and how much the emperor fears becoming a god
thats like about it
huh i would have thought it would be like a Salamanders Successor or something
Salamander is melta and flamer.
well yeah thats why i said successor
Salamander doesn't have many successor and they don't stray for from each other, until the Ultima founding.
It’s a potentially cool bit of lore, poorly executed - basically Emps told the Grey Knights “look if I myself ever threaten humanity, kill me.”
Custodes and SoS are, by Emp’s personal estimation, likely to follow him no matter what and loyal to a fault or something.
Are there any successor chapters from former loyalist legions?
Successors chapters from Legions what went traitor you mean.
Potentially quit a few
Blood Ravens likely from Thousand Sons
Red Scorpions from Emperor’s Children potentially.
Characadons speculated to have some loyalist Night Lord elements in the past (most likely loyalist shattered legion formation of Ravenguard/Night Lords/World Eaters)
Alpha Legion genuine loyalist could be in deep disguise as any sort of loyalist chapter.
Due to being able to, well, do anything.
Very informative thank you
Blood angels being potentially an offshoot of thousand sons is very exciting news to me personally
Blood ravens*
No no, don’t confuse Blood Ravens with Blood Angels 😅
I don't get the Night Lords connection with the Charcaradons personally. Their only connection seems to be skin colour.
Which the Raven Guard also have and the sharks have a much stronger connection too
so i helldrakes hellbrute etc are human and origin does chaos ever not have demon engine type stuff built off xeno bases
Charcaradons are almost certainly Raven Guard, it's all but straight up confirmed
I'm not familiar with Raven guard gene seed but do they exhibit mutations like that of the space sharks?
paleness and dark eyes, but the mutations aren't the only linking factor. Lots of other stuff has been drawn from early Raven Guard culture
i see
the main theory is that they're an heresy era chapter that was exiled
They share history with the ashen claws too, who we know are Raven Guard
The World Eaters hybrid geneseed is strongly hinted at though
Based on the battle rage and comments/actions from the Ashen Claws
I experimented a lot with different samples
I like this end-result
#jerma985 #jerma #warhammer40k #darktide40k #darktide
It’s real
The fucking top comment lmao
It's beautiful
The comments are all hilarious
It’s interesting I was recommended this as Jerma’s darktide stream informed me of Darktide’s existence
Unrelated but
Where do you that from?
Ashens Claws are descendent of terran Raven Guard, who are very different from Corax Deliverance Raven Guard.
Even in universe, the terran Raven Guard is said to be closer to Night Lords in attitude.
If a book demands it yes. Chaos engineers can just do anything the plot requires if its cool on paper.
The segment with the Ashen Claws in Outer Dark.
||AC Chapter Master refers to some sort of hybrid geneseed with the Sharks.
He also insists Char fights a World Eater, which feels very intentional based on his words and Chars reaction||
And the whole blindness/rage issue, the way they are frequently said to "butcher" opponents. It all feels very intentional too.
When it comes down to it like 99% of chaos followers are humans at this point anyway
So you basically get human heretic construction and stuff like soulgrinders that vashtorr cooks up
For it to be anything else its gotta be like, super ancient or from a previously unmentioned alien species
Yeah again I really need to come up with a term for this but its like the ultimate rule of writing for Warhammer, I guess you can just refer to it as the Rule of Cool?
The ridiculousness of the setting allows for the writers to essentially come up with any sort of character, event, item, unit etc.
Gate of Bones the book just has them build an entire planetary cannon powered by the souls of the dead + built from trillions of deceased peoples' bones, limbs, bodies etc.
Why? Its cool lol
Yeah i just mean like
The venn diagram of "serves chaos" and "can use a wrench" basically overlaps on "human heretic" and not much else
Yeah also again if the author wants it, its being put in
Pink horrors arent going to build a tank i don't think they even have thumbs
Brutal cunning moment
Wtf pink horrors do have thumbs
yeah they do why did you think they didn't have
I thought they were tentacular
they do have tentacles on their heads but no they have basic hands
specifically the terran born original ravenguard if i recall
Its carapace iirc so yeah for certain definitions of small arms
Which weapons are those?
Carapace's hardness isnt exactly specified in the wikis
It'll shrug off like a hive gangers shitty autopistol
Lasguns have wildly variable output depending on the author
yea i know anything ever can happen its nonfiction obv is their any known examples known about tho
And then like, do you consider a bolt pistol small arms lol
What about an autogun a cultist uses?
The issue is I dont understand what the franchise deems as 'small arms'
For them maybe an autogun is small arms too for example it is described like that for space marine armor
It does so by portability not effect
Then no lol
tabletop moment
Portability?
Like can you carry it around easily
Oh I see
a las cannon can be small arms if youre big enough
In real life theres a direct correlation between power and size
Or if a jokaero gives you funny jewelry
I see now, thx
need a character that just has ten diff rings and thats their whole personality
In 40k small arms are basically anything a baseline human can tote around, which is basically how we define it irl but in 40k that weapon might be like, an inferno pistol
small arms definitely translates to like "moderate firearms that cant really punch much above their weight"
in 40k i mean lol
If i ever made an inquisitor oc he'd have so many jokaero weaponsmiths
id say necron gauss is a small arm but it punches way above what something of its size normally would
Everybody gangster until the de stijl sculpture starts invoking black holes
If a canon Inquisitor can have a retinue of 36 kroot that he brought to an Inquisitorial council meeting so can you with jokaero
my retinue will be a circus
Jokaero don't even talk or eat people!
they DO kinda talk but its literally just an extremely smart Orangutan so lol
The trouble is you can just pay 36 kroot and they'll work for you
Ah yes, talking about what is counted as small arms in the franchise where they have a bigger mech than the statue of liberty
just imagining other inquestiors going by the emperor what is that and its just oh dont mind them they just have autism
Best conversation
Just make sure he treats them actually nice because I don't want to wake up and accidentally have my air conditioning turned into a bio weapon that can freeze an entire sector of the ship
Necron gauss weapons are in a weird spot where they're so advanced they're simulaneously battle rifles and MANPAT
Yeah a single cohort of Warriors can just kill a leman russ lol
and thats basic soldiery
anything above that and we kinda move into more crazy territory
do they have female necrons
But in my campaign my space marine player casually tanked a crit headshot from one, was genuinely upsetting
are they hot?
Also trans necrons
its all comparative similar to how in worlds war 2 most light machin guns by todays classification would be considered medium machine guns
For you know, the value of female a necron can have
That guy is a powerwanking jerk
I heard they were cold as steel
Even necrons can’t avoid bad rolls (or good rolls from the enemy)
tabletop is trash its true
but also marine moment
necrons are kinda cool, I hope they do necrons in sm3
"kinda" is crazy
I mean it’s on brand
But steel can be heated
yeet
Necron gameplay vs lore balance
iron hand would win smh just get shiny new face plate
Then the thing that's like above a necron warrior is already the size of an ogryn and basically carry something that can make your molecules no longer exist
also is dark heresy a owlcat game, and whats a dark heresy about, i assume its adapted from something
You play as teh Inquisition
thats it
Tabletop rpg
any scenario is madeup for the RPG
From the dark heresy ttrpg lol
you play that's basically an inquisitor and members of their cohort
like an arbites
so you just play as an inquisitor? its basically da inquisiton in set in 40k
Nearly killed the whole party due to his damn dogmatism
its literally Inquisition: the Game
^
In Dark Heresy you don't normally play as an Inquisitor, but maybe in the game
And now they’re going to be drug into an admech court proceeding because of him
well, hopefully your inquisitor isnt a death dealing one man army like in inquisitor martyr
You're usually an Acolyte and you might get promoted to an Interogator or something
its an rpg
so that will depend on you
lmao
Yeah there's like 4 or 5 40k ttrpg systems for different angles on the setting
Inquisitor martyr was a silly game that probably was going to be about space marines i bet lol
It will be interesting how they do the game because Dark Heresy is a very different vibe to Rogue Trader
very excited to see how it goes
It's darker I assume?
gonna be peak, absolute peak 🗣️
(Blew up a necron tomb’s reactor, and half a admech forge complex in the process, after the party’s tech priest had a divine revelation (and a god tier roll on how to disable the reactor safely, despite not being able to read can’t of it)
Waiter, Only War crpg where you can die in chargen please!
Like Dark Heresy you're basically the mooks sent on missions the Inquisitor doesn't have time to deal with themself, lot more investigations going on and you're much weaker than Rogue Trader characters
i am 95% sure the game's stability is gonna be as stable as ork technology though
Like a lvl 1 Rogue Trader character is like a lvl 7 Dark Heresy character
Im here to have fun so, you losers can deal with the bugs

I finished RG in like its first month of release lol
i'm a day one rogue trader player
this is nothing
I think owlcat will only improve on their previous work
Im gonna wait 4 years for the dlc to come out i think
I’m proud of how much they’ve made it better over time, it’s like a whole new game from day one
i do hope it is it is more stable in release
They've done great work on Rogue Trader which i'm sure will translate to Dark Heresy
Playing an owlcat game twice
Maybe everything won’t be a cakewalk on highest difficulty
I’m on my third RT run rn
The wrath of the righteous armies segment is so painful even if you cheat
Forget dark heresy though, I need Mechanicus 2 injected into my veins STAT
After like 2 combats i turned on auto win in toybox and it still sucked
You mean the pathfinder game owlcat made?
I havent done a second playthrough for RG in awhile since I want all the DLCs to come out as well lol, theres some crazy Season 2 ones from what ive seen
guh
Im still kinda pissed my preorder with the dlcs only came with half of them afaik i still need to buy the next two
So dark heresy gets the "everything on sale before i buy" treatment
I haven't played lex imperialis too
I'm on my 3rd RT playthrough right now. First time i'm doing the DLCs and they're great
Maybe buying the last dlc full price with the presumable sale on everything else that will happen when it launches
Servitor orchestra my beloved
Im sure people here will randomly spoil key plot points even though its not darktide before i get around to it regardless
I had to mute this channel for like a month when RT came out but i couldn't get to it because people would come in here and go "WOW ISNT IT CRAZY THAT (character i haven't met with detailed description) DOES (important plot spoiler) IN (location i didn't know was in the game)"
Like does the game not have its own discord
same
I mean it does but you cant stop people from talking about what they want
if you want topic-segregation dont look at any warhammer related group

Me either, might wait for all of them to come out tbh, especially if dark heresy is releasing
Hmm yes i should need to avoid all content for a completely different game in order to not be bombarded with unmarked spoilers about every aspect of another
Skill issue + Remove yourself from the kitchen 🫡
(this also happens with every new big game)
Im going to find out everything you're excited for and just tell you all the twists
Okay so not even memeing, I legit do not care about spoilers of any kind
I sometimes seek spoilers out to see if something is good/done well before going into it

you cant defeat me
I cannot imagine consuming media in such a dull and pointless way lol
"Hmm i better check how it goes ahead of time i don't want any surprises"
Why even play the game just read a synopsis
I also said sometimes lol
I dont wanna waste time going into something im gonna waste money on + not like
In a simpler time of the internet we had a thing called reviews
i'm movin different
dracula flow is from plummcorp records dont delete my video!!!
warhammer 40k is from games workshop ya jit
Those are not useful anymore unfortunately
Counterpoint: most reviewers these days are chills/bad
Also I agree with the don’t post spoilers thing, but you aren’t gonna be able to stop people
If it’s 40K related they’re gonna post it here
you do realize you are threatening someone who loves sending players off ledges with barrels right
Ive literally seen people here discuss Rogue Trader spoilers in censor-bars and idiots will click on them then say they got spoiled
like if you are that much of an idiot idk what to tell you
Dilara is genuinely a dark eldar
Tell that your victims barrel shooter
God i wish they were chills
If I Saw This Video Game In My House I Would Stomp It Into A Small Brown Stain
Im never going to pub with dilara because i live in a real timezone
I also have 8 maxxed characters though i only play 5 after the crafting update and arbites
Rip grumple the ogryn i don't really know why i made you i didn't need to farm the ogryn melk shop
Every time they add a new class they murder one of my melk mules
with pleasure
No i went from 2 ogryn to 1
even worse
I had 2 level 30s of each class for melk shop farming in the bad old days
What's wrong with checking melk shops for blessings im missing from psych ward when i logged in lol
I never did get power cycler 4 before the update
this is just criticaldrinker
same
Im not going to spend all my resources letting hadron give me run and gun for the 300th time when it might just show up when im playing a different class
fucking hate that prick
tbh hes always been like he is
it just uhhh took the star wars sequel-trilogy to break him fully

Its not even cashgrab, you can do a cashgrab while still being a good movie
but they just had no idea what they were doing
😩

When you're trying to have a genuine discussion about the faults of the sequel trilogy and someone brings up "Woke"
LMFAO
those movies legit spawned an ENTIRE ARMADA of these "anti-woke" youtubers that whine to this day about it, they've also spread their plague to other modern movies so its even worse.
the only time i'm using woke is when i woke up this day wanting to eat breakfast
Like the actual problems with the sequels is that Rian Johnson is not a good fit for Star Wars and JJ Abrams is not a good fit for literally any movie.
Yeah also again ZERO direction.
my name gripe with it is the execution is sloppy
Every movie was its own thing with nothing tying it to the previous movie.
the story is all over the place
Yea each movie directly tells us the previous one didn't matter
Which like isn't great for a trilogy
and some of the most what the fuck plot convenience
The third did that mid movie.
When the B plot turned out to not matter in the slightest
I nearly walked out at that point
Hmmmmm
this was warhammer 40K levels of plot convenience
That's your stack?
Prolly not, Dilara doesn't believe in physical books
^
Horus Heresy is getting it's own version of combat patrol now
If it's the same pricing as 40k Combat Patrols, that Solar Auxilia box is juicy
I didnt watch uhhh... 8 and 9 i guess? But i heard the "somehow palpatine survived" line and went "yeah im glad i gave up after the first one"
you basically missed nothing dont worry lol
Didn't pay for 7 either i worked at a movie theater back then
Everything i hear about disney star wars is so sad
I like the goofy lore from lucas and the old EU
Andor peak though
Now its like "we made a whole show about how thrawn is scary but nothing actually happens"
I heard andor was good
Yeah Andor is literally the best Star Wars has ever been
the movies vary from some of the worst movies ever seen to eh okay
then the bulk shows are quite bad too
I said this last night but its what makes Andor truly funny
I was gonna say it’s the best box guard got in a while
the show about the most nobody character is the one that rose to public prominence while the ones with all the popular characters simply are slop
Wtf even the server won't let me speak of the lost music of the cantina
was it the J word

Yeah lol
that's the main issue, why make shows about people we already have stories about
why do we need a kenobi show
money
THIS IS WHAT THEY TOOK FROM US
why do we need an ashoka show
but they don't even make money
Jatz my ass
ah yes the musical art of j i z z
George lucas sitting down and writing the word "jizzwailer" before nodding to himself
Lucas is the only person that won
Kenobi should have been 2 episodes, you can cut 90% of the show and you've got a better product and I enjoyed Ashoka
Oh yeah it was the ashoka show that had thrawn just kinda hang out on his ship the whole time wasnt it
the funny thing is that Acolyte was better than most SW shows but THAT'S the one that gets cancelled because the woke mind virus killed someones dog or something I don't know
and Acolyte was good too
and Acolyte at least had original characters
Remember when they made rogue 1 and people loved it because it wasnt jedislop or a random mishmash of salvaged legends lore and then they never did that again
also remember when the guy that saved Rogue One also went on to make Andor
what did Gilroy mean by this
Makes sense
the funniest part is like
But there's Witches in it who view the force differently than the Jedi do, this breaks canon and has literally never happened before in Star Wars.
Starwars has the same problem with jedislop that 40k does with bolterporn lol
but but empowered lesbian women
next thing you know they're growing blue hair
Speaking of empowered lesbians
Season 2 pls
I think the saddest thing about "somehow palpatine returned" is they didn't even have to write a new explanation its like a whole thing in the old lore they could have just used
But he just somehow returns
Yea but Dark Empire is dumb and they shouldn't have tried to copy it either
Sure but they could have at least said some shit about cloning or whatever
If sidious wasn't messing with the separatists they would've been gone long ago
They do
Instead of "uhhh i guess he wasnt dead!"
Ah lol
They did not do themselves any favors with the clip framing then lol
One guy is like "He knew things, dark magics of the Sith, secret cloning techniques" and the "Somehow Palpatine returned" line is basically to shut it down and say "It doesn't matter how, we need to deal with it"
Like the Resistance didn't know how he came back, they just know he is and the line is to shut down speculation and deal with the problem
I have a special attachment to cronal because i got roped into playing a star wars diplomacy type game as him and while i wasn't super into it at the start i awoke my scheming vizier genes
my favorite part is how the First Order also is somehow a Galactic Empire level threat when they are suppose to be like a military junta + just have infinite resources among so much other shit
Set slightly after the original trilogy i think? I was stoking rebellions on coruscant to weaken the regent i openly supported and had an ongoing scheme to virus bomb the imperial military intelligence hq and take over their network
Yea the direction of the First Order is one of the biggest missteps of the sequels
Like how is the fringe remnant group struggling to survive in Wild Space somehow more powerful than the Empire was at it's height with the resources of the entire galaxy
^
Honestly they did a terrible job conveying the scale of the first order yeah lol
How are they competing against the new republic's military??
"Good thing that wars over better stop building ships or training soldiers"
Literally yea
Also where is the new republics military lol
in the 1st place can't they try to come up with another villain
why palpatine
they always establish how they are a "threat" or whatever but like we never ONCE see them establish conquest, invasions or anything of that nature against other societies or galactic groups
he was literally obliterated when vader threw him to that fall
meanwhile in the O.G trilogy/Prequels you see the antagonist faction just everywhere
on the streets, cities, public places, exotic planets, etc
They should have run with the snoke is jar jar theory that would have at least been funny
The First Order should have been an insurgent group operating within the New Republic trying to destabilise it. Not just a somehow stronger version of the Empire.
Also palpatine building his enormous fleet in a few years in secret with the resources and population of one planet
Or i guess maybe they were hidden there but in that case why
You could have brought them to the death star and won the naval battle decisively lol
He just silently built a bajiliion star destroyers and hide them under the planet and recruited a gorrilion people from that one planet to crew them all, simple.
yeah but how else is JJ gonna have an epic death star event but bigger...
at least in 40k you can say like
"well they had families that lived/died operating and waiting on these ships"
in SW there has to be some military sense

Also the classic lost technology explanations
People bitch about Cawl getting a million Primaris after 10k years of work, then Palpatine does all this in the span of 20
Of course there were warships under the surface they were left there during the hurk gurk campaign by admiral bingus
^^^^^^
this is the kinda reason why I sometimes hate 40k
the entire setting is built around making narrative excuses on the fly for absolute nonsense
and the fanbase ALWAYS laps it up
"yeah makes total sense because this book named Sexbonicus Crusade no.391 has it explain it in Chapter 69 of the larger series"
Abbadon summoning 6 extra blackstone fortresses for future narrative moments
Not even that
when Chaos does it its "bullshit chaos plot armor nonsense"
when the Imperium does it its wojak "omg so badass FOR THE EMPEROR LETS GOOO" le epic moments

ah well it is what it is
They should have let arkhan land discover more tech
Behold! The Land Cutter! (Its a boat)
The blackstone fortresses always stuck in my head because they are only ever conveniently discovered lol
the one in Dawn of Fire was kinda just there in the background
They don't exist until someone either goes "i sure need a blackstone fortress" or "it would be really bad if the enemy had a blackstone fortress now"
some major characters went there, stuff happened, it exchanged owners
I still need to read the most recent tau books (that's what that is right)
#starwars #shorts #youtubeshorts
Damn, missed all the first order talk?
so what exactly is supposed to be the different use case in centurions and invictors
Ones a slow moving tank like heavy infantry and the other is a fast moving recon walker
Centurions are used to either breach or defend heavily fortified areas of key interest, while Invictors typically provide fire support for lighter armoured mobile groups like Phobos marines
Hi everyone, check out my warhammer 40K lore channel : https://youtube.com/@engizitorkelemvor?si=MfeINM6JAriL4DBv
Not ai generated , I personally write and narrate
Would appreciate your support
I like that even though Eisenhorn still has this, it still has stakes and things still get bad
does anyone know anything about making a table top army and would be willing to judge the one i just out together w near zero idea what im doing
yeah i could shit on your ideas for a couple of hours
Link doesn’t work btw
I’d use a paste bin or haste bin
I once read a soldier made by ecchlesiarchy with drugs, built for frontline fighting like a beast, similar to how eversors are made but can't remember the name, can anyone spare me the name?
Chrono Gladiators or Arco Flagellant ?
There are also rarer Arco Evicerators
Lemme read them too
chrono
Triple invictors isn’t great imo since you don’t got Phobos to pair them with, desolaters are kinda not great/memey. aside from that it’s pretty good. Maybe consider cutting those for some infantry objective holders like intercessors
i was either thinking the invictors or centurions but the cents seemed like major slow fatasses for w not a lot of health either
someone told me i should dump them as well and just put into more terms and transports
the cent assaulter looked p potent but if paired w transport but i feel liked they wouldnt last very long at all when they actually engaged
Yea you really only want to use Invictors if you've got Phobos to pair them with because that's the only way to proc it's "Combat Support" ability
Cents are fire support similar to devestator squads so you have to keep them safe.
Assault cents are a little memey unless you’ve shoved them in a LR or repulsor
But your list lacks objective holders generally
Which is fine
You're lacking in transports and also maybe Battleline units, lot of damage but not a lot of room for objective play
what if i just did more dreadnaughts instead of the invicts
Tbh marines can go light on transports
I mean sure if you want to just kill tbh
But I’d honestly consider bringing some battleline
Like I’m not sure what your intent with this list is
Tbh
neither am i
lol
Seems like your going to just kill your enemy
Do you want to be able to win or do you just want to kill your enemy
Because those are kind of 2 dif things
does not killing them all≠ winning
Screening objectives can sometime be a valid strategy
so main take away is drop invict get transporte( idk how many) and replace w either batteline or maybe cents
Reading shit like this im glad my mindset for tabletop is just:
"Yeah this unit looks cool ill use it i guess"
thats kind what fueled this whole list to begin w then i started to semi look into a few things
numbers =/= no interest for me
im here to goonhammer not math stuff

I'd avoid Cents personally, if you want a infantry unit with chonk maybe take some Heavy Intercessors to hold objectives or regular intercessors if you want more general usage out of them
i thought abt assault terms as i saw someone say that if the hellblasters got caught in melee its joever
Too bad table top is not cinematic accurate.
If you don't have battle lines, which have more models, your damage output is significantly less.
the hellblaster have 5 per which isnt bad for non battleline tbh
Heavy Intercessors also pair well with Iron Father Feirros, so if you want to attach him with a squad go with them, if not then keep him near your vehicles to give him Lone Operative
would devastator squad be a better or worse sub for the desolation squad
You thinking as a bodyguard unit for your Techmarine?
yea
Hellblaster is 5 models for 110pts, intercessor is 10 model for 150.
Goonhammer are math nerds tho smh
YouTube is laggy as fuck rn for me
Yeah i was talkign about personal gooning, not Goonhammering
Im at the subreddit now
everyone is complaining so I THINK its global
Crazy
Google Chrome?
Jokes aside you could just run your original list tbh Cole
Personally I wouldn't take either, more worth from a squad of Assault Intercessors, but I wouldn't worry about putting your Techmarine with a squad, he's fine being alone near your vehicles
Just don’t expect to win unless you absolutely pop off
Yep.
Oh, get fuck then.
Yeah tech marine can baby sit your dreads
Artificial buffering to force people to buy premium.
That's not what I meant... but whatever.
Mine is fine
Lmao what did you expect it to mean
Like Iron Father Feiros gives buffs to his bodyguard unit, so it's worth putting him with a squad of Heavy Intercessors to give them better OC and a 5+ Feel no pain, but Techmarine only really buffs vehicles
🤔
Tech marines embedded in squads has pretty much never been good in the history of 40k for better or for worse
I forget that people online and people at work are not the same kind of people. My bad.
keep up or get left 🗣️
Same with enginseers outside of admech since in admech they do give buffs lmao
would it not be better to pair him w terms instead or just have them do their own thing
Terms have low output
Since Storm bolters/assault cannons are just fine, not super strong
Iron Father can't pair with Terms
You get more value from heavy intercessors since they’re a killier unit
Also that lmao
i see i see can he only pair w battleline and vehicles
He can only join Aggressors, Eradicators or Heavy Intercessors. Only Gravis armour units

Anyhow, try Firefox. Ad Block still works on it, too.
this shit aint easy nor cheesy
and you'll only be able to pair HQ's in Term armour with your Term squads, so the Ancient and if you had a Terminator Captain/Librarian/Chaplain etc
Tbh the termie ancient isn’t great either but if you wana run him run him
Ancients are kind of always mid
Hes pretty cheap anyways
i kind of just put him their to have something incase somehow the techmarine ate shit
Yea Termie Ancient is probably the best Ancient atm
Cole, do you have access to the rules outside of new recruit
no
Alright if I post Wahapedia?
Banned 🫡
Ah hell I'll just DM it
this is literally the first iv ever even looked into actually forming anything on the tabletop
Obliteration under the eyes of the witch killer
everything is in balance then
