on the bright side atlease they are loyal to the emperor after a 80% casualty
Is this the first time the pseudoliteral raptors of Fire Warrior have been made legit
I think it is
What?
Words
All Raptor Marine are folllower/pledges of the Raptor God or something, think we had arts but no miniatures of its blessing before
have jetpack
blessed to grow wings
they're not usable and you still need the jetpack
what if the raptor god is like, velociraptors and the jetpack thing is a complete coincidence
those are dino arms
Wait did they preview the one that's set to release after the next box I'm confused here
I'm seriously considering getting some votan
It got entierly leaked
common chudaos marine L
Oh
oh no
I'd make a joke about spain always leaking shit
but thats not even a joke at this point thats just reality
I stopped playing around 5e
ahead of time and GW was pissed
thats gotta hurt
GW seems annoyed this time
the other two you could kinda suck up but man getting angron spoiled a year ahead
these leakers are good
since they're not nearly as passive aggresive
as they were when angron got leaked
lol
Game stores in Spain or just random people there?
You think there gonna get lawyers involved?
how do you know, did they throw shade somewhere
is there a games workshop spain subsidiary? if so maybe? otherwise no probably not
They threw some shade in the article
eh?
Testers, traditionally
its how all the previous spanish leaks occured
if GW isnt already retaining a spanish legal team i doubt they'll bother building one for this
This boxed set won’t be coming for a while yet – there’s more coming for Kill Team in the interim which has yet to be revealed – and we’ll have a look into the new kill teams when we get closer to its intended reveal date.
ahh
that seems much more obvious
yeah definitely shade
The Angron one had like 10x more shade and was super passive aggresive lol
unfortunately spain has a lot of 40k and AoS players
lol
which makes it good to source testers from
Wolf so these are the pros and cons of working with each death leader
then there's the vampires
Why did they group those 3 together lmao
LOL
but yeah the 2 biggest leaks in 40k history were both thought to be fake
which is the funniest shit ever
same with AoS
AoS with the total rescaling of stormcast and the entire Kruleboyz range also the Idoneth leak
and 40k with the Primaris leak in 6e and the 9e codex leak getting every single release and codex 100% correct
i think as a reward once my life is no longer consumed in a week i might buy a killteam box and some paints
i havent painted minis in like 15 years
tau right after fish of fury got killed
i have no real interest in playing the game itself again but i would like some cool minis
and killteam means you get a small number of indiviually cool minis you can dedicate some effort to
painting whole squads of infantry
at least i didnt play guard
i started with lizardmen which are honestly a great starter for painting since they're so simple to start with
the art for KT typhon is still funny as shit lol, the servitor just having this blank expression
as its about to get mauled to death
Lizardmen are fun to paint
the only "advanced" technique you need for painting lizardmen is drybrushing
Chaplain in training right?
yeah
So cool 😎
but the original primaris leaks were funny
everyone thought they were fake as shit
(they weren't)
Why does the one in training look so much cooler
They take those vows of silence iirc
Full Chaplains look cooler imo
lol
He was in the Lucius ep of hammer and bolter
bcs its more efficent smh
combat servitor doesn't need an arm
oh i thought someone said that was a chaplain in training
i had some other questions too lol
like "why would you send someone to fight tyranid warriors without at least their power armor lol"
or is that a lictor
regardless
Its a ravener yeah
Oh no I was talking about the grey model a bit above
power armor may be cheese to a tyranid scythe but it at least makes you faster
It's not a ravanor?
nah the mouth
He looks like he's got the ravenor body mb
i guess it could be a ravenor?
It's the way he's standing I think
the head is wrong for either
it looks like its got a leg
but lictors have mind flayer tentacle mouths afaik even the deathleaper
ooh theres models i wasnt aware of
Entrenched hierarchy is a weird one, beacuse like Ushorans novel shows us that he will annoint anyone he finds worthy regardless of their perceived station.
thats a hell of a lot like top left ravener
blame relic for only having one model for every enemy type
Me witnessing horrors beyond my comprehension
Like Redtalon is the lowest rung of Ghoul and Ushoran Knights him, feeds him his blood and implies he'll be granted a position of higher nobility when their castle is reclaimed
what is the servitor's kill team?
Servitor battle clade
Aka 9 lobotomites and 2 tech priests
It was released in KT typhon
thats probably not an unusual mechanicus detachment
are there many servitor fans out there
the explanation
Why not
Yes
Cause Admech fans don't deserve anything good
yes
Not real admech enjoyers smh
servitors are cool
Nah its a great one
Servitors are cool
combat cyborgs (awful)
i want a skitarii box instead
only servitors with plasma guns are cool
But still would have preferred a full Tech Priest one to receive new Tech Priest models
We have enough Skitarii
JC denton I Never Asked For This but its a quiet sad whisper from your autocannon servitor
And I say that as someone who love my skit
never enough skitarii
i guess as long as the skitarri limit their arsenal to the less uh, irradiating examples i imagine they could field as infantry escorts
especially these guys
tfw we cant figure out how to keep computers dumb but its easy enough to stick rods into peoples heads

Vat grown iirc
it would be a really funny development (that we dont have the timescale for) if the imperium accidentally men of irons again by vat growing increasingly effective brains for cogitation lol
some definitely are but well most of the time
It's volunteer recruitment
biles new men show up only to find they've been superceded by the scientists from old world blues
By propaganda
do admech have like their own school like schola
Classic admech
"wifi? sign me up!"
"ok but get in the robot first"
Tech Marines are all trained on Mars
mars seems to have a dedicated educational system for techmarines etc
everyone else seems to get raised in the faith on their forge world of birth
we should get more lore there
they should get like, omnissiah guardsmen so the guard regiments have their own mars engineers
Like low grade Skitarii ?
they should have like, imperial china style exams where if you score really well as a kid you get to be a tech priest and if you dont you get to operate the hydraulic press for 30 years then die
not skitarii, I just mean a guardsmen version of techmarine
Enginseer ?
theres plenty of tech-adepts and stuff to field with the guard
they go from their company, get trained to be tech expert then get sent back
That's an Enginseer
techmarines only exist because the space marines wont operate with actual envoys of mars
they want their shit all internal
the guard does not have the choice or the logistical option
Oh well the Enginseer (défacto equivalent for the Techmarines) are Tech Priest first amd foremost)
yeah techmarines are an ancient carveout
and even then they still have to get ordained
And get those psycho indoctrination
i'd love to see some exploration of techmarine beliefs
And they're not Tech Priest
since most of the chapters are imperial truthers what does that make them think of the omnissiah?
They're never treated as higher than Tech Adept
Omnissiah is just an aspect of the Emperor 🤷
yeah engineer have the uh
like the tech priest dialect
enginseer*
and they wear the robes too i think
yeah but the space marines are often imperial truthers not imperial creeders iirc, so they dont consider the emperor to be a God god which makes that whole thing break down
maybe im misremembering how well the truth survived in successor chapters
memenissiah
bunch of them are creed lovers
also they dont seem to debate it too much, its mostly for the emperor nonstop
average imperial playlist
who made this image why is the list there twice
a space marine sitting in their room, with their walkman listening to Creed
it took me a sec because arms wide open is the only creed song i know at all
im sure they have some good songs, no one sticks around that long being actually bad
for instance nickleback is the archetypical meme band and they've got some decent tracks
casualty of the butt rock era
and they have not moved on
nickelback has some decent tracks, problem is its really generic to listen to sometimes
yeah they were never super unique and they primarily operated at the ABSOLUTE peak of that style
creed has better guitar work, its more experimental compared to nickelback
but i think Photograph is a nice song
rockstar and how you remind me are fun slop songs
rockstar is actually so fucking funny
although despite being memecentral, nickelback did alright for themsleves you know
the guy from zz top doing adlibs and saying "I'll have the quesadilla... hehehe"
oh i imagine they're insanely rich
lullaby is def my fav nickelback song, I find it superior to the rest
I don't dislike most of their song
and they're not ridiculed in their homeland of canada
god now im thinking about the rockstar adlibs even more that song is so funny
also chad kroeger looked his visual best in the lullaby video, because he had short hair and it looked dope
WE ALL JUST WANNA BE BIG ROCK STARS
AND LIVE IN HILLTOP HOUSES
DRIVING 15 CARS
you cant drive 15 cars chad
even if you own 15 cars you probably wont drive them all
you assume there is rationality and logic mixed into the rockstar style, doesnt he go off about having big mansions and living in a school bus
the music video being a combination of celebrities, hot babes, and random people on the street
amazing
the bridge was real af
by far the best line though
Nickelback's latest album, The Best of Nickelback, Volume 1 is available now on Roadrunner Records.

best nickelback song imo
just the intro is 🔥
nickelback were explicit about only doing it for the money
they are
Fun fact kataphron breachers must be made out of an angry, violent, psychopathic person
Vat grown don’t work for breachers somehow
damn
youd think the eversor temple had a shortage
Nah, the mechanicus has a bigger pool,
Since they just need an adult who’s a violent psycho
sign me up
Alright just need to carve your brain up
Dif roles
thankfully thats like 10% of the imperial population
sydarius? cydarius? sydonia?
Breachers are a heavy firepower/cqb unit
the guys that ride the ostritch looking things
knights of sidonia???
Serbrys are the dog riders, ironstrider engines are the chickens
oh i love the lore for the ironstriders
"we dont know how to turn them back on so dont ever turn them off"
they keep them on treadmills for storage lmao
I also like the skitarii have thing going on with just like..revolvers everywhere
my brain is already fucked i'm looking forward to it
mechanicum of mars are just like " we need suitable sidearms for our tech army'
" I know....REVOLVERS"
i dunno how i have space in my brain for 40k stuff i've had to memorize these since yesterday
those revolvers shoot magic hand grenades
revolvers have one real advantage that really only comes into play with grenades which is round selection
are you building a skitarii
if you're shooting bullets round selection is stupid and inefficient and probably doesnt make sense to do but if you've got grenades with a variety of payloads...
one day
this is just one day of reactions too you dont even want to see my full index
people will see you shoot beams of cosmic rays and say
"hark! he does not have the technology for a self loading pistol!"
not including the 20 reactions in the newly sorted index
yeah
they're usually localized though people arent shipping it long distance mostly
seems like its a available resource, but its just weird that they have tonnes of wood with half the places being irradiated wastelands
i doubt someones going around planting trees either
a bunch of the hellworlds are jungle hellworlds
tanith was a source of finewood until it got blown up
there's a lot of planets
also isnt their parchment not made from paper pulp
yeah theres lumber planets if they've got sufficiently useful native trees
parchment is typically made from animal skin iirc
human skin
humans is animals 🙂
gottem
clearly not a biology major
but yeah parchment is basically writing on untanned hide
vellum is nice parchment
I wonder if theyd use windows 11 if they had it
mechanicus uses windows 95
11s actually not terrible but im pissed about the rollout
also does the imperium have like, a super mega corporation thats tied to the government ofc
and a super rich dude running it
whos a government crony of course
they're feudal
not the modern idea of a megacorp
they dont need to be a shady megacorp they're a lord of terra
Some planets do but they are subsidiaries usually
like ones that make groundcars or some aircraft, weapons etc
it's a lot of privately owned noble companies i've seen
^ yeah this
they can have a ton of power but it will always be generally local or system based at best
but nothing is usually stopping them form expanding trade
it just is always kinda under the eye of the mechanicus and some other local powers
like some noble who owns 1000 vineyards across 2 star systems I guess
i assumed they were asking about an interstellar corporation but i dont think any exist that extend farther than like, a single rogue trader territory
where he gets his vintage wine
like rogue traders could lead vast mercantile empires in star systems
a rogue trader IS kinda like a megacorp
well that is true actually
it's just not the modern idea of a corporation
no board or nothing, no
they dont really run corporations more just trading-empires usually
I guess a rogue trader is your super rich private person archetype in centralized economy type guy
Yeah that too, but they are largely based on awful conquistadors and british privateers
theres really no reason to have a corporation in 40k you dont need a board of investors in a feudal society
aka you got a warrant go exploit and make us money
40k has merchants not businessmen afaik
They can have em
I mean there kinda is
family businesses are very much a thing
thats not a corporation
you cannot really stamp these out either, again depends on the planet
it is
literally most corps spawn from family businesses
theres outright mention of local corps on some worlds lol
wait so like, rogue traders cover the costs of maintaining their own ship and machines and stuff right
or does the imperium pay for it
I dont think most of the writers care about the semantics of what a "corporation" means

it just can't be like a dystopian megacorp with a CEO and a board of executives and blah blah blah

probably huge taxes
imperium isn't usually in the habit of paying back
okay lets say it was brahms but she was never affiliated with grendyl , and she had the mourningstar and its crew
for example
She'd largely pay out of her own pocket
or whatever money her House/family makes
or try to abuse her authority on a shipping yard which is a 50/50 unless you promise them some sort of payment
rogue traders are private entrepreneurs
they have a lot of freedoms but they're on their own
Also going back to corporations
it's not like an inquisitor which could call on the power of the state for support
Twisted Helix basically spawned from a planet-spanning pharma corporation string of families
so theres not really a solid rule on what kinda corporation you can run, its 40k
well there cant be
if there was any realism to this economy from what im gathering itd collapse in a day
So influential have these complexes become -- and the dynastic corporations that rule over them -- that everywhere the Vejovian skyline is ridged with enormous medifactoria. These appear, when viewed from the hive aristocracy's spires, like the laboratory of some godly sage -- spiral glass pipelines and chimneys belch strangely-coloured smoke alongside vast alembic structures and cooling towers. Given the influence they have over the lives and even anatomies of the populace, the divine comparison is an apt one.
i just think it can't be a modern cyberpunk megacorp since it clashes with the 40k aesthetic
thats why we dont really explore it lol
nobdoy wants to delve into modern logistics

it really doesnt
40k's aesthetic is "put arches and skulls on everything"
it is a tad weird
the setting also has a ton of cyberpunk elements
but it can work
it needs to have medieval elements like aristocrats instead of executives
It doesnt though
i think it does
nothing is enforced im not saying there's a gun to your head
a planet is left to rule whatever or how it wants including its top class as long as it meets the tithe requirements
so like yeah lol
other ways of making profit are also plenty
but like why work with the 40k setting if you'll flat out ignore the setting's aesthetics
also, I imagine no private corp is supplying like, bullets and bandages to the imperium right, they make everything themselves
What aeshtetic
gothic medieval shit
literally nothing matters as long as you put arches and skulls on shit lol
Depend on the world
if the setting stuck to that it would never move past rogue trader
Certain are medieval coded
Some do
weapons, medicine, cars, vehicles etc
it just has to be overseen by certain branches like the admech
But other worlds are much more modern (Vostroya, Krieg...) and other are also quite further advanced (Elysia for example)
Yeah ^
As long as you adhere to a few imperial quotas you can have your world basically be anything with a gothic coat of paint
they still function with aristocrats, planetary governors, tithes
Okay and they can still have corporations
this is literally in the lore
idk what else t osay
i didn't say they couldn't
And even the Admech oversight is quite hand off, using local Guilds for the most part
yeah a guild!!
Yeah most admech also dont give a shit most of the time as long as they can get something out of it
yeah the settings too diverse, theres literally just old fashioned feudal houses with the knights who have knightly pilgrimages or jousting or whatever and go on mystical pilgrimages with the gundamn theyve mentally bonded to and theres rogue traders
a guild isn't modern at all
^ This man gets it
but yeah corporations can exist, cyberpunk-esque ones especially
just needs a gothic coat of paint and boom
There are still Guilds in certain workforce in Europe
yeah from like the 1400's
No like active guilds
but europeans are weird
Hey fuck you, you Pseudo American
will you see a merchant's guild on wall street
We're not weirder than you lot
I feel like this argument kinda lost the point lol
but basically yeah anything in 40k can largely exist
wtf even is a guild
its dystopian fiction
it's like the bourgeois version of a union
A guild is an old version of an union
But wait maybe you don't know what that is too
Guilds are still around ☝️ 🤓
unions are modern
They're not that modern tbf
bruh
arent they literally from the 18th fucking century
post industrial revolution is modern
I'd accept WW1 as modern at most
im comparing to guilds here
Compare deez nu-
the shit that people did since like ancient egypt
it's wool not fur, trump
Im referencing Jamison shut up
I wonder if theres some slaaneshi cult somewhere thats just obsessed with accumulating vast amounts of wealth
Question: when piloting knights that have only been recently made with no prior pilots, who would the pilot listen to for advice and such?
in kingmaker it's implied that ancestors can be ported to new knights
the first layer of slaanesh hell in that story about the grey knight has a giant realm full of gold and jewels
Fuck manuals, we need my ancestors who arent related to me to tell me how to do shit
The machine spirit itself but it would be less talking and more literally just doing what titan pilots do
since you ARE the first pilot

I HAVE SOLVED THE MYSTERY OF 40K
yeah ai is everywhere, COPE HARDER ADMECH
aight then
@outer wave GARTH ENNIS ROOOOOOOOM!!!!!
I DIDNT EVEN DO ANYTH--
you know too much
would imperium ai even be intelligent, what if its just artifical dumbassery
like the ai awakens and goes " whats that lil chair on terra sucking all that power, shut it down, the guy sitting on it is dead"
repentbot 5000
super miserable and hates itself
you see ironkin of votaan?
If they respected them and treated them good they would basically be like that
yeah but imperium
yes so basically less tolerant of non humans

do the eldar have ai
they had robots and shit
No because their tech is reliable
they DO have like drones and shit but its omstly for minor shit like scouting or whatever
mostly so uhhh thye dont steal the tau's gimmick

Why have AI
on everything
i guess they are all under withdrawal avoidance deadline constantly to worry about ai
" Hey, we should make an AI , itl really help our wa-"
" QUICK, SHUT THE FUCK UP, I NEED A HIT OF SOMETHING NOWWW"
MUST
TORTURE
INFANT
I do like commoragh
I also appreciate someone had the imagination to create it
its suitably inventive homebase for dark eldar
instead of just giving them generic planet
They did the next best thing
or being fleet based
Im glad we arent like this IRL
and some guys just cant doom our entire species by being stupid

~~ also it sure as hell is better than naggaroth~~
at least we don't have beings that suck the energy out of everything for their own greed
right
That’s rough
energy vampire

Doubt they’ll get much sustenance out of this
Probably heresy but I'll allow it
what legion?
grey knights are like the best psyker space marines out there
they literally fight demons
Sounds like a veritable banquet for the emperor
its weird to me how grey knights are all psykers, but there are no custodian psykers
He cares not who the psykers are
same could be said about the apparent 1000 psykers on the room
Would get ated
Yeah I can’t speak for the grammar of the meme, I simply am a humble thief
yeah but like, the logic of all grey knights being psykers is sound, they are elite, all of them being psykers is super useful
youd think the custodians would have psykers too
its not like they cant manage custodian psykers here and there
since the gk can do it
nobody knows why the emperor didnt want psyker custodies
probably insecure
Kill all corpos.
probably figured theyd be too close to his image in his own mind
insecure whiny little shit that he is
idk why people exaggerate how hard it would be for grey knights to kill the emp
they act like the moment a grey knight enters the solar system then literally everybody is their enemy
dont you just have to like kick the power socket
is this about that terminus decree shit
I think custodes automatically assume anyone who enters the palace is an enemy
like a large group of grey knights could easily make their way to the palace
Yeah, it’s some fuckass lore
the problems arrive when they enter
but i keep seeing memes acting like the solar system navy fleets would obliterate them in a millisecond
also I guess the idea was that the custodians would be accompanied by sisters of silence usually , so being a psyker is more of a drawback, that actually does make sense
It’s the army of the finest soldiers specifically trained to kill space marines set to harm the emperor
do people forget that grey knights are literally based on titan???
Also they could teleport
as in, inside the fucking solar system
People don’t know any of that shit
They just get lore from YouTube shorts and tiktok
I saw a great comment today when someone made another dumbass terminus decree post
and it was like
ah yes, their "secret" massive fortress on titan
Right up to the palace entrance
Probably not inside
"If the plot requires the GK to go and make the Emperor sit down they'll just do some shit like a super-teleporter we never knew they had before teleport them right into the palace chamber and just accomplish the mission that way"
LOL
idk why people assume the lore matters in comparison to what the writers want to do lol
Or maybe they could since they were gonna teleport that virus bomb into the palace
ah yes
Plot device at its finest!
they can literally teleport already both in lore and tabletop
its literally just Marvel/DC logic
How does Batman defeat a living god?
Idk tibetan monk technique
THE plot device
That’s a little much
If you will
this just shows that grey knight lore isnt known enough
"weve had this teleporter for 7000000 years, but weve never used it because we didnt have the necron jamba juice with us to do it, till Now"
^
THEY CAN ALREADY TELEPORT
the lore does this constantly
3 custodians once defeated an entire hivefleet by holding a ravine
and everyone was like "yeah this is badass as fuck"
But not with the super secret PLOT DEVICE teleporter!
One Harley killed 8 custodes...
The wording is just funny
Therefore, 1 Harley can defeat 2 hive fleets.
xenos
It’s like it was a half baked plan written with crayons on a graph paper
automatic loss
if GW wants to then grey knights will make their way to the emp
❌
I mean again
Would be wiped out
^^^^^^^^^^^^
“Sorry you must be this imperial to get on the cool shit ride”
it doesnt even have to be some tech macguffin, it could be grey knights actually talking to custodies and seeing common ground or some shit
I wish people realised/accepted this entire setting works on the logic of "how much shit we can make up and excuses to be created to make this plot bit work"
of all factions, grey knights have the plot armour for writers to do whatever tf they want
it's the fucking grey knights
i know whatl happen, garran crowe will make a heroic sacrifice by letting the blade of antwyr consume him at the last second so he can cause an explosion strong enough to kill the emperor
What kills me is this apparent ultimate Do Not Resuscitate order from THE EMPEROR himself, wasn’t shared with the guys that want only to guard him and enact his will
kaldor draigo could appear out of nowhere and blow open the palace doors
UAAAAAGHHHH
So if he wants to not get up, maybe you should tell those guys
Instead of keeping it a secret because ???
i actually think it will happen
gets up and does lunges before sitting down
Custodian near the throne: TF
On a Halo server a long time ago, a dude loves to shill on Halo spartan, and he used the card "SM can survive a direct hit from the titan, which can shoot down ship in orbiter"...
emperor will get up, grey knights put him down, overarching plot is unaffected
so, how long before we get the plot twist where we find out the terminus decree was written by the alpha legion?
SM can survive a direct hit from a titan
Also dies in a thunderhawk crash
peak
What happens when I spray paint their armor a different color?
Die from a random spear attack...
Do they lose their plot armor?
i hope we get a book about it because it could be a really cool action story
if it's done well
Color is irrelevant
its the faction that matters
look at all the slop space marine chapters doing their thing and always winning
lol
the funny thing is grey knights are supposed to have unpainted armour
Ok but who’s gonna follow a faction with a dumb name like “The brown knights” or some shit
40k fans
this is completely plausible, you cant change my mind
who else
that's just the natural colour of terminator armour
It entirely is lol
GK is there because GW can't sell silver paints. Change my mind.
I know I’m just shitposting
Reject GK . Accept Minotaur grind set
kill all minotaurs
i like gk ngl, they are made to be likeable
the long anticipated sequel, the good ending

i legit expect minotaurs on terra waiting for the fight to end so they can steal some grey knight terminator armour
vultures
This but SM just casually completing whatever objective they had with ease
I think of all the possible ways it could happen, the best tipping point for the total collapse of the Imperium is if the Fabricator General wakes up one day and decides " okay, fuck this" and he declares cult mechanicus isnt supporting the imperium anymore and the emprah isnt the avatar of the omnissiah
thats the funniest one to me
wouldnt really work since forge worlds dont have to listen to his every word
i think its enough still tbh
and that would just cause heresy 2.0
good, heresy 2.0 can end the imperium
Which will never happen.
possible ways it could happen was the premise
so yes
it will never in fact happen
mechanicus vs imperium would be one lame ass heresy
its better than grey knights teleporting into the emperors throne room
all of them are lame ass heresies
except the og
grey knights striking down the emp wouldn't be some huge imperium wide event
literally all the emp does is sit and make the shiny beacon work
if it stays on nobody will care or notice
would it stay on even, i totally forgot about that
if it turns off then imperium go bye bye
and that wont happen
the whole thing with the emperor is if he actually dies then the imperium goes with him
the grey knights striking down the emprah isnt going to happen either
which is the classic 40k thing of keeping the entire setting on a fence post between two chasms
some would call it eternal edging
i do believe theres some confusion now
and this
striking down doesnt mean killing
it says in the terminus decree that they need to keep him on the throne
right
like hit his shin with a crowbar
yeah just cripple him again
"guys i can finally move my body, im healed!"
"OH NO YOU AINT"
suplexes emperor
“What I tell you boy?” pulls out chancla
just kill him for gods sake, let titus take his rightful place at the throne
Leandros would be there 24/7 just to criticize him
yes
malcador could do it but only temporarily
its an improvement , Emperor Demetrian Titus would permit it, to show he has non yes men advisors around him
And by then, Captain Acheran will discover he was wrong. He can’t spare three men…only two
i liked acheran
he seemed suitably captainy and i liked that he was bald, had an accent and a red beard
oh wait titus is the SM2 guy
i thought you meant the NL book protag
the moment titus sits on the throne 10000 nids burst out of the wall
because he cant ever get some peace and quiet
A green Portal manifests in the throne room and it’s Grimskull back from the dead “WAHAHA YOU GOT ALL SHINY NOW SPACE MARINE?!”
" You might be the Emperor of Man now, but remember, the taint of heresy never fades."
and then an inquisitor arrives to arrest titus for wearing his boots wrong
" I see youve brought prosperity , victory and peace to the Imperium of Man as the Emperor. But remember, the taint of heresy never fades."
then one day titus will try to establish diplomacy with the aeldari, and leandros will go " GOTTEM" and have him dragged out kicking and screaming from the throne room
Titus, you are now the god emperor of the entire imperium, which means you have the entirety of the ecclesiarchy worshiping you as a deity
but the taint of heresy-
i'd imagine guilliman would ask titus if he can just kill leandros himself
nah, leandros will just look guilliman in the eye and tell him , " The Codex Astartes does not support this action."

quoting the codex astartes to guilliman is a leandros thing to do
yep
he will be so deadpan about it too
probably wave a finger about
the best possible thing that can happen to leandros is a chaos marine kills him
or a nid eats him
the book of lorgar does not support this
" No matter how many men , women and children you brutally butcher Abaddon, remember. The taint of purity never fades."
Leandros is more hated than Erebus
in all fairness
hes actually quite reasonable in sm2
he does throw shade at titus, but i think its pretty clear he isnt going to take any action against him until he has actual evidence
its not like hes trying to stab him in the back like he did in sm1
titus proved himself more than leandros ever could
and leandros keeps tormenting him about his guilt
a guilt which leandros fabricated
since titus literally never did anything wrong
Leandros dies and Titus is relieved. Some time later the mysterious Legion of the Damned arrive and one of them approaches Titus and says “the stain of suspicion never completely fades. I will be watching you”
Titus: DAMN IT
They really gloss over the fact that the rules guy broke the rules by going straight to the inquisition
well it was nice because part of the story was also titus being super reticent to trust his new ultramarine comrades , because like, leandros was his battle brother, ratted him out for no reason and no crime, and he had to leave whats basically his home and do punishment
almost like he knew his chapter wouldn't listen to his bullshit
all for excelling at his job
Nah, Titus just accepts it and goes: "Sure, bud, you have all the time in the world to shit on me."
The flaming spectral Leandros takes off his helmet but he’s just headless
Leandros gets promoted to chapter master
titus can handle him probably, calgar himself redeemed titus publically, titus probably has a lot more faith in himself and the chapter now
hes just like " yeah sure whatever, fuck you leandros"
Get immortalized in the Emperor's embrace nerd
The moment they boarded the Thunderhawk
calgar looks at Titus
“Do what you gotta do, this’ll be off the record”
Titus: “thank you milord”
And then he whips out the iron Chancla and starts beating Leandros
I mean, even in SM2, Titus acts like he is done with the chaplain. He cares more for the new troops than whatever the chaplain complain about.
yeah titus is probably feeling the best hes ever felt at the end of sm2
titus has absolutely no need for a chaplain after spending 1000 years as a deathwatch
he has literal new best friends in his ultramarine pair of battle bros, he stopped the invasion, calgar himself publically rewarded him and redeemed him
not to mention he literally saved calgar himself
that's just one step away from saving guilliman
i wonder who will win a fight
a 3rd edition space marine vs 10th edition
Even the BT is chill with Titus...
Yes, black templars were escorting him and the inquistor.
To be with BT and Inquistor and came out alive is a feat of itself.
Leandros is...a necessary evil. Which is why he is given the rank of Chaplain.
Guy is the odd example of an Astartes drunk on the Imperial orthodox juice.
Considering BT are ultra paranoid, who even killed a custode.
At the end of Space Marine 6, Titus will have defeated Abbadon in single combat, saved Terra from the 21st Black Crusade and the Emperor himself will have returned to personally commend him and Leandros will still be like: The taint of suspicion will never truly fade."
it's funny he became a chaplain since he sucks so much at being one
leandros in sm2 is probably excellent at his job, including motivating the troops and taking care of them, his only problem is titus grudge
They really should have just had BT adopt Leandros...
like i was never motivated by his words
he prob just repeats the codex astartes over and over
I would like a brief prequel story where it focuses on Titus’ Deathwatch KT when he still went by Nullus. It ends right when they are dispatched to deploy the virus bomb aboard the beautiful Corvus Blackstar
Leandros simps for the codex and BTs hate it though
TBF he isn't the only bad Chaplain around.
looks at a certain Dark Angel Chaplain
True. Forgot that.
I like the little tantrum that blondie threw with the jetpacks (forgot his name)
They're just lunatics
yeah that was a cool cutscene
Galadriel
I think
He was sorta valid but also dude you're acting like a baby
i think most space marines are lunatics
Yeah Gadriel
Chadriel
Yea that
he became wholesome gradually
Well he did almost shoot Titus in the face
blah, normal sm stuff
black templars opened fire on their primaris reinforcements, or was that dark angels
I’d prescribe to it being somewhat valid because Titus kept withholding details
the one about the codex astartes?
Yep
The codex astartes does not support this action.
Beat
But it should be fun
yep
nice moment
also I was not expecting to enjoy that scene with the dreadnought as much as I did
" WHERE IS MAGNUS?!"
The writing in SM2 was good
titus is still a piece of cardboard
It took him 100 years to develop a personality
I still remember Adeptus Ridiculous’ podcast review for SM2, comment section was something alright
How bad?
imagine waking up from sleeping when your last waking moments were on the battlefield with a primarch
WHERE IS HE!?
i wish i could be an angry dreadnought
just constant violence
GUESS ITS TIME TO KILL SOME FUCKING HERETICS
i liked it
Honorable brother, it's been 2000 years since that battle.
and then he charges headfirst at the nearest tzeentch demon
World eater dreadnaughts are even worse
like the dreadnought really was in its element, completely fuelled by battle and rage and just bombing tf out of everything
world eaters are too angry
looking for the daemon primarch himself
Frothing at the mouth
i like a directed anger
also nobody talks about how the conflict in sm2 revolved around the mechanicus being dummies
like i will kill all demons on this planet but i will also look awesome doing it
Paradoxically, I like when World Eaters are portrayed as calm and troubled by the violence
But also when loyalists are nothing but angry
A lot of viewers disliked Adric’s take on the campaign not being very good. And how Bricky says it was “this is so over the top and stupid…idk” and how if you weren’t book readers like them, then you as an individual would say SM2 did pretty good, but they would say otherwise. Also DK got flak for not knowing the reference of the Banner stand being in relation to the artwork of the Crimson Fists, but he usually forgets content they already covered previously.
i dont expect tabletop players to have relevant opinions on video games
The biggest nothing of nothings
if you dont even mention the gameplay then why bother
It will be like a Kojima pseudo fighting cinematic.
The gameplay was alright
it sucked ass on launch
Two and a half hour long cutscenes
The story is just the same as SM1 more or less
But SM1 did it better because it’s Orks
At least in a later video the Adric crew did admit they were a little harsh on their review of SM2
And orks have personality unlike nids
I just dislike SM2 because it just perpetuates SM fans’ view that space marines are invulnerable god like beings that nothing can stop
It fuels their power trip
I thought the villains in SM1 were better.
The Orks had way more personality than the tyrannids and Nemeroth said the exact same things as the second guy with only a fraction of the words
" Vile sons of Magnus. Is he here?"
" He is not."
" Pity....then MY HATRED MUST BE DIRECTED AT HIS MINIONS!"
Open fires all over the battlefield with minigun
peak dreadnought
the nids feel like a forced addition to the game due to 10th edition
The hive tyrant dies off screen
And then its just apparently dodge roll simulator on the higher difficulties
I cant imagine that brings up the power fantasy of SMs for their fans
the swarming mechanics needed so much extra post launch work
like the visuals of being surrounded by nids is nice but it was so ass
Carn-
Carnifi?
also enemies just being bullet sponges
Yes but most people don’t play on those difficulties, or assume the lore accurate difficulty is the middle ones
Tzaangors were a pain in the ass
This too, gameplay felt so samey
The whole game
Hoard enemies that can block. Thanks I hate it
and most weapons being completely useless for a while
Even with two factions there was no variety
bolters feeling underpowered
Bolters were practically useless
especially the automatic one you got during the final battle in campaign
that was such a terrible fight in hard mode
You'd use all your ammo and still have a hoard to fight
With the intent of SM3 I’d rather it focus on one faction because that allows more room for the different types of enemies to make their appearance. But I’m sure it would just get old as well
that's years away
i'll still be playing darktide over SM2
as a coop shooter SM2 falls short
There is no lore accurate difficulty for SM2
Because it would be dogshit to play
Titus needing to pick flesh borers out of his armor for 10 minutes inbetween every firefight

Maybe a nice little thing is if it was Nurgle/ Plague marines and it takes place on a Hive World, throughout the story you see the slow collapse of Imperium control as decay and rot takes more foothold before it ends in an evacuation
like darktide?
In a sense. But it can be any of the other three gods in the chaos pantheon
SM2 has coop?
But then how will they force chaos to be the REAL antagonist?
But the outcome is you can’t save the planet or any degree of victory. Chaos wins and you have to gtfo
Pvp felt like a different game altogether
Pvp was so ass
A worse game
I actually got to play against DK when he was doing a stream on PVP, pretty neat
Somehow it fumbled the best part of SM2, the combat
Eternal crusade did a better job
They not still?
idk i havent played in a while
Nerf guns
Look me straight in the eyes and tell me why a gaunt survives a bolt rifle shot to the head
I don't care if the gun is automatic
It's a bolt gun
You rolled a 1 on wounds
Multiple brains in the Gaunt
warhammer is just like that
it always felt nice doing a finisher on the Zoanthrope after it being such nuisance. Its when you slam em on the ground before you pull them by the tail and swing it around like a tether ball
tbf the tyranid horde thing was actually building on the game engines swarm mechanics theyd already developed for that WWZ horde shooter (the engine is called swarm engine, its like its whole job) so it wasnt just something they cobbled together for 10th ed
ngl i had painted my first Warhammer human but i did a bad job but idk what kind paint style i did to the uniform
mordian
i tried to paint it like its coftyrans but i accidentally dropped it in a water
now is just weird warn blue
very mordian
thats fair, tbf while the skin looks a bit blobby i think with a finished base and maybe a wash to add some depth to the models detail that paint job would turn out pretty good for tabletop standard
much nicer to look at than a greytide thats for sure
God I loved that show
You can see it when they start to pile up walls
honestly, imperfections aside i think its probably the best depiction of tyranids we will get in videogames for a while, having an engine build around swarms as part of the gameplay really did them justice
yeah 100% I think Saber was the perfect studio to do a nid game after WWZ and the engine they made for that
i fuckin hate painting human flesh
it looks like a night lords just rips off some guy ass skin and graft it on a unfortunate guy
on the face
Chorfs and Iron Warriors being in the same club.
"Daemons are great machine parts."
thats why i don't have a Warhammer army @gaunt lily
im just absolutely bad at skin tone
thats the reason why i enjoyed painting quar because the only challenge is to pick which color you want
like its basically Skittles
its extremely easier than painting skin
Night Lords classic prank
Get a piece of recently flayed skin
Staple it onto somebody's face
Prank'd

the skin us from some fat fuck ass
so yeah you understand why i like to paint quars
yeah but it still looks ass
Just watching a Statam movie, not even 10 min in and he is waterboarding someone, he is the good guy
In the universe where war consumes entire worlds and humanity defends itself from threats unimaginable, the setting’s atmosphere matters most. And what contributes to that atmosphere alongside the lighting, music, and thrilling narrative? Of course, the graphics and 3D models of the characters. In Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy, we took a step ...
amaazing
Would love to play it if it wasn’t turn based 😭
Could never finish bg3 or rogue trader cause turned based wears me down
Damn this is sick
tf chapter they are?
Night Lord
Combining the terrain for an underground part is so fun
