it's literally the one game where the main character absolutely could have avoided the situation
If I remember correctly.
Her old weakness was being tied up by a man, voluntarily, with her own lasso.
He's gonna have a very difficult life
Something something "If you give the Patriarchy the power, they will abuse it"
A very specific weakness
and there's 3 bottles of medicine in the entire country
With any lasso, including her own*
Join the Police 💀
Join ICE?
Yeah, even ignoring the bdsm ""implications"", that shit is overly complicated
Although tbf Wonder Woman had the same role as Superman so she wasn't really meant to be that complicated
Just a way to get more feminists
And also probably awaken something in many peo-
The willingly bit basically means none of her enemies will ever be able to overpower her
Brother, FC3 Jason kills almost all non american/white people.
It is an auto pass for ICE selection.
BASED
Yeah but his willingness to fight things that can fight back will mean he will get bored rather quickly
I'm not up to date on Far Cry lore at all
This is very cryptic
jason is pretty clearly mentally broken by the end
Considering that America literally gets nuked in Far cry 5.
Probably having PTSD flashbacks to the island
the world ends
You know how Vaas is in that dlc?
because 6 had to come out
That's Jason
Wow it's almost like having the same formula makes people bored
Which one was 6 again?
Can't hear you over the billions
Even now, somehow
All I know is in 4 there's a dictator who's sort of not a dictator and the entire game's events could have been avoided and had a peaceful ending by just staying put like you were told to at the start
Honestly if Jason survived the nukes
He's probably feeling right at home again LMAOO
wait no im thinking of new dawn
the completely forgotten game
6 is the one with giancarlo
yeah bombs fall, all hail Joseph seed
playing gus as usual
This is fine
I think the only time he tried having a different like
Attitude is Faraday from Cyberpunk Edgerunners
But even then he's also a cutthroat businessman
But a different type from Gus
he's done other stuff, it's honestly just him getting type casted since
Less Lex Luthor
More...
Elon Musk
i hope the far cry is in like siberia or some shit
How dare you
I mean Faraday in Cyberpunk is basically a wannabe corpo fixer
Back to Africa
He is a huge asshole
The promised land
Honestly
I want Jason to come back as a side character
far cry 2
peak peak
the setting was snooze
ONLY YOUUUU
nah it was great
boring scenery
Why are the country songs there actually catchy
what else can you ask for
"KEEP YOUR RIFLE BY YOUR SIDE"
because its made to be cult songs
the music BANGED
i can murder americans in real life dilara
its great
But bad americans win... therefore it is a bad game.
It is fucking working
i want my game to let me murder more diverse people
i straight up have like 3 of them in my playlist
What do you mean. We have so much variety
Such as
White man
White woman
...

Uh
and also own a bear
Bear
I'm sure there are other races present
And they are equally killable
The pirates from far cry 3 are still my favorite.
They're basically a dumber version of the replicants from F.E.A.R
But also much more entertaining in interaction
yknow i haven't touched far cry 6 but from afar
"i'm not bigoted, i kill all people equally"
-postal dude
They did have a lot of personality
"I THINK THAT WHORE GAVE ME THE CLAP"
it seems a lot like just cause 3
said it. far cry became lamer just cause
plot wise that is
When they switched to the PMC I felt sad because they're kinda lame
A few times I almost didn't murder them in cold blood
Wingsuits are death traps
wdym it's a primary form of transportation according to just cause
I quite liked the Far Cry in America+Post Apocalypse sequel
Because of all the neon paint?
see this is because you're european
Ok, explain

how bout we talk about the REAL best far cry villain
ull
best written character in fiction
first primal mention on the internet in 5 years
Honestly a Far Cry set in Russia could work, or in the Balkan
i bought it on sale and it bugged so i couldn't progress
Far Cry: Ukraine
and i had to drop it lmao
legit they would do it
was gonna say
far cry is not known to play it safe with the setting
Drone strike every 5 minutes.
We did himalayan rebel territory
We did pre-revolution cuban state
We did africa
We did rural america
theres literally only post-soviet state left as a choice lol
My favorite level is the one where you have to huddle in an improvised dugout during a 12 hour artillery barrage
Probably.
There is even a Far Cry DLC for Vietnam...
and mars aint it
far cry 1 is basically vietnam
goated game I wish more people played it
What is that shit stain?
Latin America maybe ?
Though some of the themes have already covered
North Korea
lmfao
crysis
Fuck
Burma farcry
Far Cry x AssCreed
pakistan far cry
Does north korea count as post soviet lol
Far Cry Birghimahm
India/Pakistan
pakistan is funnier
Hold on, AssCreed and Far Cry shares the same universe, no?
no they dont
You're right. Feudal Japan
Are they even the same company ?
all video games ever share a universe, industry secret
ubisoft
Far Cry: Three Kingdoms
Primal did it first
Further Cry
far cry: afghanistan (soviet)
Far Cry but set in the Ottoman Conquest of the Balkan (honestly an Assassin Creed game set in it could be cool, even have some Dracula stuff)
Far Crier
Far Cry: Afghanistan (British)
i would play a far cry in east asia
Blood Dragon is so dumb yet so good.
that would basically just be FC4
Retro futuristic banger
Isn't far cry 4 in East Asia?
its in the Himalayas
the mongolian mountains are super unique though
Far Cry 40k, you play as a normal dude who got infected by the GSC kiss
Kyrat is like a small micro-nation in it
Rip
it could take place in asian plains instead
Far Cry: GSC
the villain is vaas with a wig and augment eye
You think it's a far cry game but halfway through it turns into Space Marine 3
See, if any girl or guy tries to kiss me, I automatically assume that they are a gene steeler.
Nothing is too safe.
because you never get kissed?
Can't be too careful
Like that jeans commercial?
no, gene steeler
Ohh
Read jeans and reminded me of that awful Sydney Sweeney ad
Silly question, but is the eye slit on dreadnoughts just glass or is it something else?
Glass? nah, Read man doesn't need any thing.
Yes, it can be stabbed as well.
According to the Raptor animation they literally are just two pieces of glass
Which one?
it's like a camera directly linked to the sarcophagus
the dread still feels like they're using their own body
so they're not looking out of an eyeslit
Are the cameras particularly hard to break?
i still hate the half helmet
I feel like cameras are pretty sensitive to breaking
if you puncture it then it goes through and pierces the sacrophagus
No less than eyes
I've also seen it just be a little slit in the metal and the marine inside looks through it
random hc: chainswords were actually industrial tools during the DAoT that the imperium just happened to find very useful for tearing people apart and were thus retrofitted them into weapons
god the claustrophobia 💀
being a dread is not pleasant
the half helmet is really weird
it's a tabletop thing for nerds
I mean. It's not pleasant
Isn't that the UM one?
bro got bigger problems i'm ngl
I do not recall
ofc being a dreadnought sucks in general but wouldnt they be hooked up to some kind of camera like the other ppl said right?
Oh, the Raptor one is a fanmade one...
ye, their real heads aren't where the dread's are
as opposed to some earlier stuff that basically had them looking through a fucking slit in the armor 😭
i know for a fact that dreadnoughts feel the machine as if it's their body
I've seen dreadnoughts be fully sealed in their sarcophagus, and can only see when hooked up to the chassis through cameras
I remember some lore about them got stab in the window and dies...
And also ones where his head is just sticking out the top
HH dreads just dont make sense let's be real
But not all dread model are the same.
they dont have a visible sarcophagus like 40k box dreads and primaris ones do
The custode dread... good luck.
In the blood ravens animation, it's a slit he looks through
too bad we're opening it up lmao
but yeah nothing about marines make sense
tank size
HH dread size
What am I looking at here?
he killed a thing
white scar standing on a dread with the marine popping out
There it is
This guy would definitely get stab.
Look at the little slit
if you notice most of his head is a skull
and this was supposed to be a higher tech than 40k dreads lol
ye that's why you have the cameras
i wonder what the saturnine lore will be
Modern tanks have camera sights and back up view ports maybe dreadnaughts use something similar?
probably wont get much lore like the deredeo did
same actually
like if a levi drives you insane
i'm amazed these things can even shoot weapons
insanity
The boxy ones are cute
i dont like my death machine being cute
You are cute
the person above me

you can tell by the smell of mayo fries and chocolate
took way too long to find
I'm just joking. Of course you are not.
I am
that iron hand logo is 1 lost finger away from flipping me off
Those look great.
An edit of that would be peak
i am very tempted to print a middle finger IH logo
for my HH army
ah damn i thought i had already made a IH logo
my terminal lumbago is acting up (laziness)
French fries with mayo is better than ketchup tho
moules frites remain superior
Whar
mussels and fries
Never tried it
Doesn't look bad though
Unnatural combo to my American (tm) senses tho
If I ever go to France, maybe I will try
me and the other slaves to darkness when Abaddon rips the False Emperor off his golden throne (we're cheering and having a great time)
🥀 🥀 🥀
So odd question, but would anyone be for or against more T'au empire having more splinter factions, like the farsight enclaves?
Imo there’s 0 need for it
they dont get enough attention to sustain more than one splinter
More splinter factions would be nice but it's not necessary at all
tau content cant afford to be spread any thinner imo lol
tau are wack anyways rip bozos
just rewatched alien covenant
man romulus is really the only good alien movie of the 21st century
We need more details on their auxillaries
Smh

You got Imperial Knight sized aliens and you don't slap on a railgun and armor?
yeah they've got way more now and we still know like nothing about any of them besides the kroot
like the vespids still dont have much lore afaik lol
Imagine the Vorgh.
Full armor
Giant ass sword
Railgun on shoulder
Fighting Imperial Knights
Do you know how fucking awesome that would be
Pacific Rim type shit
do we know they dont
lexicanum cites the codex as them fighting superheavy combat walkers
Vespids have quite a bit tbh

But it’s all basic
Vespids are simplistic
So they don’t really know more
They’re a hivemind(like an irl one) with Queens of the hives
the demiurg just being squats keeping a low profile was a nice timesave for them
and it makes total sense its lore im happy with
Yeah
I think my main issue with Tau auxiliary lore is
I’m just more interested in the Tau(race)
Lmao
They're mostly too shallow and we don't really know how they interact with their society
theres so many auxillaries they probably wont get to any of them now lol
The Kroot are the only one that have really catches my interest
Nah
I feel like T'au lore needs more meat in general
Elemental council shows it
There’s a good bit of meat to tau lore
It’s just all quite dry
Juicy juicy Xeno meat
Tau have prolly the most developed knowledge of their society
In terms of xenos
Imo
the tau could do with attention, they're ripe for good novels, but i think tau novels might feel kinda un-40k-ey
For me it needs more yeah, there's some cool things for me but not enough to really catch my attention
I think that would be a nice change of pace honestly.
And it’s a tau book
a tau novel would almost feel more like star trek but beset by evil
I love it
You have an air caste pilot doing a kamikaze
i need to read elemental council
Same
i played tau many years ago when i played miniatures at all
I have always wanted like a T'au PoV as a cop
Or some mundane part of their society
A cop working with a Gue'vesa partner
we dont get that enough for 40k in general
Deathwatch, the novel, was pretty 40key despite the Tau featuring a lot. Man they were assholes in their own way too
Elemental council is genuinely so insanely good lol
Same with Peter’s dark coil stuff
The Greater Evil is good
As is the deathwatch and water caste one
the novels people love are disproportionately set behind the front lines
I forgot the name of
Also imagine stuff like
They fight against a Hive planet
They win and take over
...
They usually just demolish the hives
What the fuck do they do with it
That sounds like that takes decades
but no one reads tau lore
It doesn’t
They don’t care where they send them
yeah like legit what do you do with a hive lol you cant fix it
what a waste of a perfectly shitty hive
I mean like
Trying to find all the people
Oh
Or enough people
"Get the fuck out, we're nuking your house"
If you don’t leave by the deadline
the tau arent like, saints lol
they're just nice relative to the setting
Why would they destroy the entire hive anyways
Like beyond just it being kinda shit to live in
hotbed of disorder, unfamiliar territory full of new potentially rebellious subjects, and yeah literally falling apart
Well kinda is a understatement
But like wouldn't you want to at least get some of the recent paperwork
At least
tau tech is good enough they probably dont get much use out of the manufactories or the cogitator banks
yeah they probably grab important stuff but they dont occupy the hive
Fair enough. I can imagine a PoV of a soldier trying to like
Announce the general evacuation
Since you still need to go around and say
"GET OUT OR MOVE"
And then maybe there would be conflict like
Gangers shooting at these evacuation announcements
tau having real computers helps out with a lot of that
They looot everything and fly in prefabs
yeah the imperial infrastructure really isnt very useful to the tau
The tau are like a proper sci fi empire for city building
Everything is prefabs
The one big thing the tau keep from hives
Is usually the power sources
Which are far better then the usual Tau generators
Aside from that the rest gets scrapped and destroyed
yeah those are usually archaeotech cool stuff
But they break everything down for resources
They can
And then prefabs
In any case the Tau are experts on cultural genocide lol
They’ve optimized the shit out of it
Like any good imperialist empire
are they still doing the pheromone slavery stuff that had been hinted at i always thought that was kinda lame
i think making them grimdark through thoroughness of assimilation is a cool way to go
Nah, the pheromone slavery thing is from xenology which is non canon nowadays , and even back then was full of inaccuracies
Because the dude making the original entries was a necron lord
Fucking with the imperium
good lol
i like the tau's grimdarkness being an open part of them instead of a dark secret
they really did kinda take the people calling them space communists and go "alright the height of Stalin's reign in the USSR there you go" huh
And she’s super proud about all the propaganda material that her home sept produces lol
i need to catch up on the tau lore
right now im pirating the merck index which is 250 mb
Isn't there one tau that gets told to off themselves and they do it before they really realize what they're doing
by some ethereal or whatever
Yeah
they started using the drives that tore the nexus the way the guy who made them told them to? lol
It makes me wonder if it's heavy indoctrination or subtle mindfuckery
There’s also a very young ethereal who questions the entire caste system
And he gets told to shut up by his mentor
"please dont use too many at once"
"ok so we're gonna send the whole fleet at once"
And to stop that line of thought
Yeeeeep
Lmao
Heavy indoctrination explicitly
But you can see how they drill in
Everyone is afraid of stepping out of line beyond just drinking the kool-aid
I should get around to reading it more in depth, but I'm lazy
The only time Tau start really opposing the usual cultural norms and the greater good being enforced is in war often
Stress and anger causes them to lose that fear
Castes being forced to interact regularly makes them ask more questions about their society and system
Ect.
thats part of why they have one splinter faction i think, its mostly a binary of following the status quo or not without finer detail
Yeah, Farsight ironically only opposes some of the greater good dogma and the restriction of caste roles
Aside from that he’s uh, pretty much just tau empire 2
Would it be accurate to say that the lows of the Imperium are lower than the lows of the T'au, but the achievable highs are higher than the T'au?
On an individual level depending on their status at the very least I feel like that's true
you cant really achieve that high as a pleb in the imperium
if you're one of very very very few highly privledged in the imperium you enjoy all the fruits of a galaxy worth of slave labor
what's the difference between being born an ethereal and being born a rich noble
What does “suffer not the mutant” mean
dont tolerate mutants
as in, kill all mutants
suffer as in suffering from their presence
I thought suffer not was like it should be mercy killing them due to their suffering
its a ye olde phrasing
Yeah for sure
I mean the zealots sometimes say they are sparing the mutant by killing it
I mean more as in high ranking officials like inquisitors
So ig it is context based or something
Being a pleb is part of the "lower lows" of the Imperium that I said
nah its a general commandment against the existence of mutants (unless they're useful like with witches)
and abhumans
but even then the imperium wants you to hate them all
ogryns and psykers
Do it just means “tolerate not the mutant”
Mutants normally aren’t suffering
Some abhumans seem to be more loved than others
Kill a mutant
Dropkick a mutant baby
Incinerate a mutant
Steal a mutant's food
oh hey apparently it comes from the bible
Exodus 22:18
King James Version
18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
Tbh the line comes from the fanatic zealot after killing the maniac mutants
But ye I get it now
Tbh they don’t really look uh healthy
thats nurgle for ya!
Nah man nurgle is cool ignore the loyalist scum and their heretical “hygiene”
So suffer as in bare
Advance with impurity
no, it's "allow" or "tolerate"
what is hard to understand here
Bare is a synonym with these words
You funny silly man
no?
Bare means handle, handle is synonymous with tolerate
it basically means dont indulge them in the luxury of existing
Yeah I got that as in do not tolerate there existence
what is your dictionary man
What’s yours bruh
its very archaic but to suffer someone is basically like
"ill suffer your antics" "i'll put up with your antics" its tolerating something distateful
you're straight up making shit up
I can no longer bare this power
Go google bare
Maybe am spelling it wrong but bare means tolerate
bear
do you mean bearing???
synonymous with carry (typically implying some kind of weight to the thing being carried)
Huh so I was right but too stupid to spell ah
It's bear but yes it is synonymous
it might be like, metaphorical weight though
Welp imma sleep now it is 5 AM and am going insane
you still can't use bear in the same context as suffer here
Go bed
Peace and thank you internet people
It's usable but a little off
dont put up with em! (unless they're useful and breed true then they're actually abhumans not mutants)
burn the heretics
(unless you're a radical hereticus inquisitor)
that one doesnt get the same carveouts as mutant and witch lol
burn them too
-average arbites
honestly the single biggest threat to an inquisitors life is probably other inquisitors
not like a majority but the biggest slice of the pie
just stay loyalist
then you get killed by either the heretic inquisitors or other loyalists who are convinced you've failed the purity test
it seems like being a largely unaccountable agent of god seems to go to their heads
heretic inquisitors wont come after you
they're not stupid
nah you always clash and thats what the book is about
that's just eisenhorn
always finding himself in the biggest evil plot of the century
by accident
i was gonna say they probably get assassinated a lot but that would just set off a big investigation
so the biggest risk might actually be their field
seems fun though
I was about to say LMAO
Osma making it his life mission to game end Eisenhorn, even after failing the first time
What, decades prior?
Assassinate the Lord Inquisitor or whatever that seat is just to kill Eisenhorn
Eisenhorn just keeps finding universe ending evil plots
do custodian dreadnoughts not get tired like space marine ones
I find Custodes Dreadnoughts the funniest shit ever
Because although it's mostly Custodes who have been
Majorly damaged to near death
There are some who are like
"MY REACTION SPEED IS 0.001 ms SLOWER. PUT ME IN THE DREADNOUGHT NOW."
"Dude you aren't even 500 years ol-"
"DREADNOUGHT."
So at least one of them are probably some guy who got a paper cut and decided
"it's dreadnought time"
i talked to eternal about it earlier in regards to the clans of the iron hands instead of having companies each clan has their own dedicated like everything so this means terminators arent limited soley to first company for them (clan avernii) are their any other chapters that also have this dynamic of allowing terminators to others besides first company
Apparently the Leagues of Votann have a fucking
Bolt Shotgun
How the fuck does that even work
And more importantly, when can we use one
Probably works like the Executioner Shotgun of the Arbites.
Realistically it’s probably fires a shell like bolt round that bursts into fragments
How strong and efficient is the industrial base of the Imperium? The Galactic Empire has Kuat Drive yards which is basically their main place that churns out massive numbers of ships.
very
Kuat in terms of scale
is nothing unusual for the major forgeworlds
every major forgeworld has an orbital shipyard
Every major naval base also has massive shipyards
Very strong
Fucking enormous even
Efficient?
Uhhhhhhhh-
Efficient enough to keep the Imperium alive
But you're probably gonna have some late shipments
Or maybe some really early ones, in fact, maybe they'll appear before you even ordered them

Skill issue
jokes aside 40k's industrial output is comically high
due to how forgeworlds work
Its an entire world, billions to trillions of people
all making shit
It is fucking enormous
Basically, they can't invent new shit, but they got a lot of shit in general

🫡
I'm surprised nobody has made a Hadron version of this
if it has a name - very strong
Basically Factorio on steroid 😂
anyways point being Kuat is just 2 orbital rings
*rings
they can pump out a bunch of hsit
they also have Rothana
iirc no?
but star wars has this weird thing
where they pigeonhole for production
T'au: "Okay, we have been spamming drones for 5 years. They have to be running out of machinery and people now right... Right?"
The humble forge world:

Well that also depends
star wars's major shipyards are like
contrary to popular belief the Imperium can and will stop sending men to warzones if it bears no fruit lol
and relegate it to like a slow crawl of reinforcements (sometimes taking decades or a century)
It's also funny that they might produce the same exact things from like 5,000 years ago. (yeah, Warhammer is really bad at the scale of time).
Kuat, Corelia, Fondor and Mon Calamari
One guy finally wisens up and thinks
STOP SAYING KUAT
"Hey we haven't clogged the meat grinder."

Its not really clogging
its more the Administratum seeing the warzone not worth the effort
which is like, yeah fair lol
Yeah I know that the Imperium is
Still an empire that requires management
Contrary to popular belief
Would definitely take them a bit to realize given the size of the bureaucracy
How much does a Lasgun costs? Did GW every mention it anywhere? I reckon that since IoM mass-producing them on a scale beyond human comprehension a single Lasgun probably costs like $10
I can imagine like soldiers being sent even after orders to retreat have been rewritten

Because it's underneath a pile of other mundane requests
like
theres no definitive answer to these general questions
everything in 40k is different and dependant lol
This is basically the answer to most of the questions related to Warhammer 40k lore 😂
Well yeah because theres no specific answer

lasguns are just sci-fi AK-47's
theres cheap variants, theres mediate variants and theres expensive variants
it all varies
If that's the case, the lowest cost of AK sold was like $20 or something
🫡
Also because writing generally doesn't want exact statistics. Because you are going to fuck up the size. I mean just look at the times that 40k gave definite numbers.
Often criticized for being too small for a galactic empire
hey it's the best Band-Aid on a setting written by like multiple authors
they do not go down the specifics of this shit
Conquering the whole planet with less soldiers than the population of Luxembourg
Another example is the Flash apparently thinking as fast as an attosecond.
And yet despite that speed, he definitely isn't that quick of a thinker at times

Probably is lore-accurate. Don't think the scribes who jot down stuff to preserve them in history are literate enough to get into specific details.
Nah they definitely are
Well
apparently he slows down his thinking because if he thinks too fast he could literally be in a conversation for millions of years
It depends (tm)
I think there's an option to get an Ogryn scribe backstory in darktide
Who copies down stuff accurately despite not knowing how to read

Kinda makes sense but also...
God dammit comic books
this is what perturbao uses shrapnel bolters tho his obv are full auto not just pump

You also have autoguns, which are even cheaper
the economy of the imperium is a mess, all worlds have their own currency that is literally worthless off planet, so most of the macro scale stuff isnt about the monetary value at all but the logistical effort needed
the lasgun is the standard weapon of the guard because it is easy to make and ship
just about any world with a decent level of industrial development can make them and the charge packs are vastly easier to store and transfer than bullets
the imperium's manufacturing is also fueled by a chattel slavery system so even if the workers are paid they are paid a slave wage in ether local currency or full on company town style manufactorim credits that are only accepted at the stores in the manufactorim they are paid out from
tldr everything made in the imperium is technically worthless as it has no monetary value outside the planet it was made
i never said they where paid well
It is also worth noting that it is pretty easy to maintain
Train people since it literally shoots a laser
yeah
And finally, the ammo is easily renewable.
Putting a Lasgun mag(?) on a fireplace can recharge it (TOP 10 TRICKS YOU DON'T KNOW - WatchMojo.com)
dont let the engiseer see you do that
Tbf I think it takes like an hour or two in lore
yeah but it does damage the pack iirc, lowers the charge life time
cut off and got no other option yeah
The only flaw is that you probably want something more powerful if you're up against like
Idk
Tyranids
Orks
Daemons
Unless again, group, in which case they'll die by a million laser beams
yeah, lasguns are very good small arms, they are still small arms and you will need something a lot beefer to deal with bigger threats
ngl the guard would be beyond hell to fight, master of static warfare their bases are literal death traps surrounded by flat open ground with no cover to speak of
and each soldier is armed with a fast firing semi auto battle rifle that has 0 recoil and like 100+ rounds
and there is like 30k of them just in the front trench alone
it makes me wonder what the rumored TW40k game will be like ngl
the guard would just be total war empire on steroids
and built for corner camping even worse than dwarves or cathay
the real issue with putting a cost on a lasgun is the fact that the Emperium has no unified currency
supposedly so long as your planet isnt so regressed and backwards you dont even know what metal working is making and maintaining lasguns should be doable, if you live next to a forgeworld then you might as well be drowning in them
yeah like i said, the imperium's economy is a mess
like for all the jokes and memes about the imperium's rulers being inbreed idiots the reality is the high lords are frankly very competent, but they are stuck with the most broken system you can think of and everything is so fucked they have no hope of keeping anything in order for very long
which is likely why most of them just give up and do the bare minimum needed to keep their high status
No
A chapter can function without librarians but is effectively dead in the water without their other psykers.
astropaths are psykers tbf
Those are psykers yes
Wouldnt say they are really part of the chapters
But if a chapter is fleet based, they don’t really have a fleet without them and effectively can’t operate anymore.
likewise if a chapter is planet based without them they cant leave their planet, or make long range communications to others
its like saying the munitorum isnt really part of an imperial guard regiment, when they provide the personnel to manage most of the administation and supply duties including processing the requests for supplies and managing the supply convoys that bring them... and also providing the commissars
ayo
like yes theyre not part of the regiment/chapter itself but little in the imperium can operate in isolation
why can pet names be stupid? because people are
if i reincarnation as a race horse and my owner named me "Hatsune miku stinky feet" ill make sure anyone who bet on me become chapter 11 bankrupt
like be horribly inconsistent
atlease number 4 is affordable
because who TF buys a horse named "kidslooktouchable"
zoomer ass name
oh btw grass wonder is dead
@gaunt lily i forgot to remind you
all the horses the horse girls based off in Uma is gonna die
all the horses because turns out they only live in 30 years
ok? I dont play Uma but i thought the mortality of horses was a given
they're goofy
Astropath are, but are only needed for long range communication, they're still able to do stuff, either by joining bigger fleets, or by using shorter range communication systems
Racing Horse names have a lot of rules, to prevent having multiple horses named the same thing
so thats why horse names are Goofy
it's part of the reason why
in the future
thiers a slim chance that someone named a horse "Hitlermissingtesticles"
you know its the apocalypse
Possibly Offensive to certain cultures so probably not
i am convinced they are named to make the announcers' lives hell
say that again
SAY THE NAME
no thanks discord might ban me
lol probably
they don't care
if they do, they won't be on the news to begin with
automod exists sadly
until the investors are throwing a tantrum
or the payment processors
i hope they all are arrested
I wonder if the imperium has a national sport.
using tiny xeno as a football
I wonder if space marines can punt grenades like they're footballs.
so is it ever stated what happened to the planet that the iron cage took place on they turn it into a memorial or something or is just just some place now
The Iron Cage was a battle fought between the Iron Warriors and Imperial Fists in the immediate aftermath of the Horus Heresy. The Battle involved the entire Imperial Fists Legion and a sizable contingent of Iron Warriors, although the specific size of the latter is not known.
Typical Imperial Fist L
Gestapo Moment
"No you don't understand I deliberately ordered all my loyal sons who would do whatever I told them to go and die on purpose (they did it because they were so loyal), I had to do it because they wouldn't have followed my orders to adhere to the Codex otherwise." Rogal "Dumbass" Dorn
Wait until they rewrite all that shit
also everytime i look something up it links wiki first over lex nearly everytime so i hardly ever go 4 lex even tho its almost always had better indepth and more obscure stuff
and make it so that it was some epic MCU-ass brave last stand the Fists did
and how the Iron Warriors suck 2000x
I mean so? Just google it as the lexi at the end of the thing you are searching
this is just you being lazy

yes do pride my self at being passable on some 40k knowledge but not as quizzical as some here
Its not quizzical to just look up stuff on lexi
get out of my office
you're fired
no no its not but u r
So true oomfie
So what are the chances that GW will go back to the iron cage at some point?
Bro
Callidus assassins are wild
remember when that one assassin vored a baby whole like a python ?
sick
Sounds like you want to be that baby.
in a sm2 lobby and hearing a space wolf and black templar complain about ultra marines

holy mother of chud its getting worse
🫡
There is no chance. Its happening.
They announced the Scouring series like last month
I mean, like a second event taking place on the Iron Cage.
It would be pretty funny if they readded Perturabo and Dorn back to the game with Perturabo rebuilding the Iron Cage and issuing a second challenge.
Gman "Don't fucking fall for it a second time"
Dorn:
yup
it says 400 weren't recovered, but does it say how many fist actually died?
i can't wait to read it in the new series
let adb, abnett, or rath write it 🙏🏻
Honestly, I could see Perturabo deciding to turn the iron cage in something akin to an attack moon.
Well actually there's two possibilities, either Dorn returns to face the challenge of the Iron Cage, or Perturabo has imprisoned Dorn in it's centre and challenges the Imperial Fists and their successors to come get him.
What you see is what we have.
The Iron Cage as a lore event is older than most people on this server
i want 40k perturabo
I want 40k Perturabo, ||so that he get the same amount of losses as Mortarion||
I can see it, it's the second possibility, Dorn's imprisoned, Pert taunts him as his legion gets slaughtered (Guilliman can't assist this time because Pert said if anyone other than the Fists showed up he'd execute Dorn. Seeing his sons suffering again in the Iron Cage Dorn breaks himself free and fights Perturabo, Guilliman learns that Dorn has broken free and commits additional forces to the battle forcing the Iron Warriors to flee once again.
IF claim it as a win because they recovered Dorn, IF claim it as a win because they killed lots of Fists again
Peter turbo is only coming back when they bring back Dorn
For the epic launch of a new edition of course
It’s gotta be done
IIRC around 70% of our legion before splitting into chapters
"our legion"
💀
Which is about right because we only had enough for 5 chapters including BT but I doubt they were much over guillimans limit by then.
Mf what
If you play a chapter on TT it’s your chapter lol
Just write the squiggles the same, doesn’t need to know what it means
Brother, just look at it, don't try.
The iron cross in the name should have been your first red flag lmao
Oh great another bigot who judges people based on what fictional chapter they choose.
I didnt say anything, simmer down lol

also calling me a "bigot" off the bat is uhh 🤨
Truly a black templar fan moment
damn us black templar fans, WE RUINED THE BLACK TEMPLARS
Nah the tourist BTs ruined it.
tourists huh
Nah, BT fans ruined it
can they try to not be weird fascists
Nah, Tourist BT fans ruined it
Theres no "tourists".
You are a BT💀
Yeah, a normal one 💀
I dont go roleplaying and calling people "tourists", thats cringe af
I really doubt that the part of the community that caused a bad name to the Black Templars and the DKoK can be qualified as Tourist 💀
You are roleplaying right now by calling yourself Templar Brother
I mean no im not
do you see me acting like a space marine
Im just a dude
Just cause I've got Heretical in my name doesn't mean i'm roleplaying
What's your opinion on female space marines
Don’t really care
so you were fine with the female custodes in the tithes episode
Yes
okay
Although blowing up a world of civvies was a bit harsh
to prevent the spread of xenos
Yes yes the greater good and all that
People are chill, it is just that many of the people with similar profiles do role play and act as if 40K is their life and therefore their personality that usually turns out to have bad take.
And the insult right at the start doesn't help the case...
Not you, go away, shoo shoo.
Uh no
The one about me having a cross
Thats not really an insult
literally almost 99% of space marine pfp here turn out to be weird chuds lol
I dont really blame the mods for being cautious
what if we get noise marine pfp guy
With a higher percentage for the Black Templar 💀
Starts having flashbacks of a certain metal jawed man
Chaos fans are very chill from what ive seen
mostly because they dont cope as being "good guys"

Hard to cope as a good guy when the faction you like has someone like cordon the spine eater and orphan decapitator
and ive been in this hobby since like the original war for armageddon codex came out lol
so like I kinda know my way around tbh
Brother Skibidius....
But we are though
Im gonna kill you
Who doesn’t love flaying corpses tbf
chaos is the truth fr fr
dora the explorer?
You simply need to pick between Imperial corpse-flaying or Chaos and you are set 🫡
As long as it’s anything but freaky slaanesh
no doubt the imperial are the good guys because they're funniest
That's why I'm here
Look at the average imperial noble home
yeah right
Imperial has literal pleasure worlds...
Remember the Servitor toy, and the implication of Servitor brothels 💀
And don't they give noble children lobotomised people to work as toys?
i mean they're not necessarily centered around the freaky kind of pleasure
plenty are but
Or how about cultist assassins and the assassin temples...
Servitor brothels?
Why?
Many are like resorts, but just like resorts in real life... Well, if you know, you know.
Surely imperials would never live in excess
can a man not get laid at the hotel
its always a black templar pfp...
You do realise like
the amount of creepy fucked up shit rich people do in real life?
Why not I guess, having Servitors that aren't able to say no and do what ever the client want I guess
Good point.
Yeah I repeat it a lot because its unfortunately kinda easy to forget.
remember, if they could, most of those people would make us actual servitors lol
That's horrifyingly true.
We just talked about the Orange and the Rat the other day...
What they trickle down is piss.
