That, coupled with the information given…when the winds are blowing fair and it all lines up, alongside with being in a functional state (wherever it is), I definitely can see why they feel things are working out.

The African Slave Trade is given special attention mostly because the US education builds an unhealthy founding myth that obscures it. In THAT sense, it does need to be given a bit more attention. But I can accept the argument of “not to the point of discrediting the entirety of US completely.”
