anyways what else was i gonna say...?
oh yeah, ill be getting my first set of minis end of the week
Nice
Grats
Welcome to the plastic cocaine den
Once you check in, you will never leave…
yeah.
Also
Obligatory
I wonder what will happen when these people kick the bucket
Nothing will happen since they've already conditioned many to take their place
"i always come back"
the industry is at the point where they need to spend money to justify the next expenses. it's kinda crumbling rn though
anyways indie games are where it's at
wonder how that "Stop Killing Games" petition is doing. a futile effort though
ubisoft is probably in the worst state
Yeah thats where its at tbh
it's a european initiative so it actually has a good chance of doing change
if the law changes in the EU it will inevitably become a global change
Actually? I'm just concerned no action will be taken despite the amount of signatures
their intent is justified, however
Didnt Tencent or someone buy out their debt recently?
i don't know
I feel like there may be little to no western devs at some point and just
Big Chinese devs
the EU commission does have to do stuff if petitions receive enough signatures, that's the neat part
think so. it was a $1.25 billion investment they secured with Tencent, despite continued layoffs
nothing will be different on our end
EA is sadly doing ok right now
EA aint never going down 😔
EA summoning 20 million unnamed middle aged dudes to buy the new sports game every year
they also own so many IP's that they collected over the years
they could shit out remakes forever
then i wish em the best of luck, because it really is disgusting with how fickle big game companies easily treat the accessibility of their products to yank it out of their consumers
Was gonna check Bioware's stocks, but it's just part of EA
companies aren't even gaining much from stopping SKG. they fight it because it would probably open a whole can of worms about IP laws
the main problem is that these fucking companies will let an IP rot away for 30 years in the off chance that they use it again some day
Worst part of the whole Veilguard situation is the behind the scenes artbook they released which revealed that they were originally making the exact game everyone was hoping for and it had literally everything people were asking for, but for some reason during development they just decided to not do that.
that's why they don't want communities to make their own servers on old games
Didn't they get told to make a live service game
midway through development
Yea they were told to make it more like a live service game
It's just so annoying
Like the parts were all there, they were doing the thing we wanted, but then they just didn't
Seems like the change in heads and producer/investor pressure changed something
well the game went through developmental hell
i know a game that was made by a company which got bought out and made defunct. the community had to go to court to rip away the IP from the owners since they shut down the servers and never planned on using it ever again
and this, I will never get over this
Calpernia is my favourite non companion character in Dragon Age
GYAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
and then they just go "OH yea we were going to make her a companion in Veilguard, but then we just didn't"
so wait, there's not even an ingame model of her?
Least someone cares enough about the IP to actually have to rip it out of someone else's clutches
No she got turned into Neve
What the fuck's the point of owning an IP if you never use it
oh...her
Yea you can tell from the leg
Calpernia was an anti slavery mage from Tevinter who lost a leg in Inquisition. They just replaced her with Neve who is an anti slavery Tevinter mage who lost a leg
unironically the warp travel in star trek is the most likely system, bending space to move really fast is both physically possible and theoretically achievable
someone post the Event Horizon paper pen piercing gif
its so famous even darktide references it

it's a huge legal annoyance. and it costs a lot of money
RIP dragon age, a victim of EA's horrible decision making
one of many in recent years
Yeah it's honestly fascinating how Star Trek and Star Wars were both pioneers
of the Sci-fi genre
There are definitely others
H.G Wells moment
But those two come to mind when I think Sci-fi
Star Wars was a pioneer because most Scifi back then were either so cheesy that I think a cartoon rat would die.
Or so depressing that it just wasn't fun.
So having an inbetween was nice.
the only thing i'm sure of is that if it's possible then it won't be with any method we have even began to think of
Like even 40k has more variance than just
"And then everybody died"

It's still inheritely ridiculous
yup
But in general, people don't like being reminded that life fucking sucks
and is unfair
well most of the time
Sometimes you need catharsis
and sometimes you need something to ignore the problems.
How does the quote go again.
Some art should comfort the disturbed.
And disturb the comforted.
the shift from utopian sci fi to dystopian is a interesting phenomenon and shows how the view of the future changed post 21st century
And some art should just be comforting.
Star Wars was revolutionary for thinking
"Hey, maybe life isn't sunshine and rainbows, but it isn't killing puppies either."
Well there were definitely others beforehand.
But Star Wars was the most popular for Scifi
I mean most other scifi things before Star Wars were uh
depressing (minus Star Trek)
mfw I have no mouth and I can't scream because of a bitch ass AI
Life is going into Tosche station to pick up some power converters
most of life is pretty much doing normal shit
until, due to circumstances out of control, something happens
Moisture farms always sounded interesting to me
wanna know which places have the most moisture?
"shouldn't have wished to live in more interesting times" -Tav from BG3
Do it, but be warned I’m armed.
Yeah 2020 is basically me being like
"Holy shit please stop giving me once a century rare moments"

places with bodies of water
A lot of moisture is stored in cacti and such
So could be feasible if you're stuck in a desert planet
millennials having lived through dozens of "once in a life time/century" events
Another cool thing is One Piece
Where in a desert kingdom, they actually did have a way to control the clouds
but the problem is that if you use it to gain rain now.
You kinda fuck over any future rain
Because you used the clouds up and you had to wait longer.
So it was a thing to use sparingly
countries do control rain irl
they spread salt in the air with planes
i think the emirates do it
ATLA made me think the inside of cacti was liquid honestly
It isn't, it's similar to a cucumber
it's also extremely bad for the environment since that water isn't coming from nowhere
apparently tastes similar to a cucumber as well
Yeah it's basically the same for the Alabasta arc.
Everybody thinks it's the king that's abusing the system for his own benefit. Using the rain for himself while leaving the outer villages to die of thirst.
turns out the more we try to control the environment the more we end up fucking it up
In fact it was somebody running a shadow cabal.
check out the aral sea
Tbf
they knew that would happen
to the Aral Sea
they just decided it was worth it
Geo-Engineering is apparently being considered as a solution.
Basically artificially controlling the weather to be cooler.
the question on if it actually was
is uh

well
I'll leave that up to you but imo no
Mainly to buy precious time for us to switch to alternative fuel sources
soviet method of solving problem
Since it kinda acts as like... a balloon being constantly filled with air
Once it pops, unless if we switched, things are gonna quickly become fucked
and there's also the scenario that companies are gonna bel ike
"Well global warming is solved temporarily. Time to switch back to oil"
and then when we stop artifically seeding the environment
...
well it becomes more extreme than any animal could ever adopt to
But if we manage to successfully switch to an alt. fuel source while the environment is held back,
we will get to live the snowpiercer fantasy
Hmm, Controlling the weather seems like a very risky gambit
We could successfully get past the harshest effects of climate change
Yeah that's why it's a "Break glass for need"
type of situation
How do I say this...
It's the best bad plan
Less that.
More
"Okay so there's a 50% chance the house is now fully clean and renovated"
"or..."
"Or it blows up"
"..."
50/50 gacha pull for long term environmental success
pretty much
hope you get the limited and not the standard

but yeah it's basically an emergency solution
hopefully we won't have to resort to it
...
oh who am I fucking kidding?

Also on a completely unrelated note
would be cool if all this stuff wasn't explicitly used to put water where there shouldn't be water
Does anybody know JL: Gods and Monsters
I think it has the best "morally grey" superman approach ever.
I also like the movie
It's too bad that got fucked over by the audience
I genuinely wish it had a sequel
but like I said
lack of people watching it
why do all the good movies have to suffer like this
firstly this
then Transformers One

If you haven't watched, highly suggest y'all do
It has a Superman deconstruction actually done in a fresh and more interesting manner than just a super tyrant

I think it successfully did what Man of Steel and BvS tried to do.
Make a darker Superman that still maintains the core of his character.
This Superman is more pragmatic but still has the hopeful core.
It's... interesting but also depressing at the same time.
Because we know our Supes would've tried anything. Done a more creative solution like flying him into Space.
But he is just lesser than the OG one. More pragmatic but less powerful.
So he does the only thing he could do...
But he still has his humanity.
More details that I like are:
- The pilot using the nuke asking for forgiveness knowing what he's about to do. And just accepting Superman's help without a fight. He doesn't want to drop a nuke on a city where there's still people.
- How this Superman attempts to calm the kid down and try a more peaceful solution
- How he just... sighs. After what he did. His obvious guilt and sadness, but his lack of tears show that he has made similar choices before.
- Ignoring the buses and the people screaming. A form of Triage. He is clearly hurt by their turmoil, but he is also struggling against the winds. Stopping the main threat is more important for him right now.
- How the Brainiac kid knew what he was gonna do. Fully. Superman stared him in the eyes before killing him. This broken, scared kid. A kid with the power to destroy the world.
I have a failproof way to beat insomnia, come lie down over here.
@storm jungle bruh I was gathering references for my eldar oc and fucking look at who I came across
unrelated but bro has that shit on fr
if i had a fit like that I also would ball out jus so ppl could peep my shit
I'd
eldar OCs always cook 😭
Need help deciding on a faction to paint my battletech mechs
Space capitalist Germans, space pirate Roman Empire, space redneck America
I notice that the glorious Capellans and Kuritans aren't mentioned...
Face the wall.
Isnt there a clan called diamond shark do that
Wtf
They renamed themselves from Diamond Shark to Sea Fox after naming themselves Diamond Shark and switching from Sea Fox.
The Sea Foxes who were Diamond Sharks are now Foxes again.
Lame, diamond shark is a hilariously cool name
I feel like I had a stroke reading that
<3 I love clan sea fox, my favorite full clan
Next to Scorpion Empire who is my main faction
Capellans and combine can’t bring wolf hounds 😭
I ahve a Jenner and a panther to paint as them
As combine
It was done in dishonor, when the diamond sharks species caused the sea fox species to go extinct they had to until the sea foxes came back
Clan Snow Raven got pissed off that Clan Sea Fox—notorious merchants—outplayed the Snow Ravens, who were fiercly competing with the Sea Foxes for a lucrative trading deal.
Seething, the Snow Ravens would eventually retaliate, tasking their scientists to genetically engineer a ocean-borne predator—the Diamond Shark—to drive the Sea Foxes totem animal to extinction. The Diamond Shark would successfully accomplish this task in a short amount of time. The Sea Foxes, instead of retaliating in kind, simply acknowledged the Diamond Sharks superior characteristics—and would successfully petition to change the clans name shortly afterwards.
Why did I start with the Jenner this bitch is hell 😭
FMK:
The emperor
Malacador
Constantin Valdor
Kill Emp, fuck Valdor, marry Malcador
finished Rogue Trader, and in the credits they have people called "Production babies"
fukin hel this game is long
Welcome to CRPGs
Tons of games have productions babies in the credits
Like the original Fable had them
Then again the original Fable also had a count of how many Takeaways they ordered during development

i just learned that lasgun's accumulator can be charged by throwing it into a fire
and it can be putted into laspistol, lasgun, helbore lasgun, and other lasguns
yeah thats the main reason they are the standard for the guard, easy as hell to produce and supply
And easy logistics
No need to worry about troopers not having bullets like autoguns
(Even if they are similarly easy to use and hit a bit harder)
There was once a guard regiment that was given triplex-phall pattern las packs instead of kantreal pattern
No matter how easy to charge, battery doesn’t fit
The regiment deserted and only a handful survived
Another munitorium W
what is triplex-phall
A different type of Lasgun
In this case
As Triplex Phall is a Forge World or something f
yeah no shit
........
will have to google myself....
What else did you think we could answer
with a pic
Do we know how inquisitors are financed or finance themselves? Reading Eisenhorn, he has a lot of resources at his disposal...

Its basically all about connections and influence
shake the right hands, help the right people and get supplies
its why some Inquisitors are just 1 guy with 10 henchman and some are big dudes in power-armor with entire armies of Inquisition troops behind them
some inquisitors are like Howard Hamlin with big offices and money, and some inquisitors are like Jimmy McGills
Surely Chuck McGill would be the better comparison, because Howard is too nice a guy to be an Inquisitor
HE ORCHESTRATED
EISENHORN, HE DID IT ALL
IT COULD NEVER BE GREGOR, OUR PRECIOUS GREGOR!
we need our own 40k Better Call Saul...
either age of sigmar or fantasy
Darkoath
Probably something Drakoath
yeah it has that vibe

Needs updating...
Does it look cool? Yes/No.
If yes, is it Marines? Yes/No.
If Yes, Horus Heresy.
If No, Age of Sigmar
So, is it possible to live in the Halo Stars region?
I know.. I know.. cosmic horrors etcetera, but still. Just curious.
Anyone got any 40K flavored music for a necron reactor about to explode? Ideally it would be “It’s pizza time!” But more sci fi
Meme?
Wym?
Do you need it for a custom meme?
I’m actually looking for music for a session I’m running where that’s the scenario lol
Oh.. Lol
Reactor is gonna overload, GTFO of the tomb before it does
is cikatris maledicktoom boomed cause of cadia, right?
Necron themed, probably would have to go to Rouge Trader, they probably got something.
Or that one Tacticus Adeptus Mechanicus strategy game.
Got some good Warhammer 40k OSTs.
That's a soundtrack? Or meme? So much lore..
Warhammer 40k confuses me sometimes. Lmfao
Mechanicus is the closest I guess
Yes
It’s the big fucking hole in reality in the map posted a bit ago
Not frantic enough, sadly
Can we walk in it?

If you wanna go to the warp and die a horrible death, sure
It prevents all warp travel across it, effectively splitting the imperium in half
It also constantly spits out daemons and maybe even spreads
The ones cut off are definitely screwed or some are a Necromunda situation? Cut off isolated areas of the Imperium?
There's 2 glowing things on that map in the Halo Stars sector. Are those places that are habitable?
Hell’s buttcrack
TFW you realise GW just did a Sci fi equivalent of the Eastern/Western Roman Empire split for Imperium
Now all we need is for the two governments to slowly drift apart from necessity...
Cut off from the imperium and on their own
And the glowing things in halo stars are just major stars lol
It’s habitable but rough, real rough
muh catgirls as playable class in darktide when?
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/mNlwiIysLoo
The complete archive of Imperial Iterator shorts: http://bit.ly/43ltxKi
we have ogryns, which are also abhumans, and also gender-locked to males. having catgirls as a new playable class is just the most logical next step, you can't defeat this logic!
some kind of nimble, fast melee-based class with emphasis on freedom of movement and fighting-style moves and combos
a ninja-like style of play
i hope they would be as ugly as possilbe
like, a class that literally can jump on a boss's back and start tearing its apart, not just their doggo 😄
Are you aware that there is no evidence that female ogryns are not large lolis

The karl the deranged felenids would be funny to add
Just to mess with the gooners
no lore supports this, so they ought to be carnivorous, bloodthirtsty little cuties :3
Considering pre-ordering Eternal Crusade (the upcoming 40k MMO)? Use my referral code when signing up for 4,000 extra blingbling points: EC-2QHHBV8RGCTS7
https://www.eternalcrusade.com/account/sign-up/?ref_code=EC-2QHHBV8RGCTS7
PS. EC at pre-order costs $40 while it costs $60 at launch. And it's in Alpha, so, like, do it so we can murder eachoth...
Oh it was alfa
Anyway @inland cosmos here are your catgirls
"I shall now report myself to my bolt pistol..."
I wonder if GW will eventually replace the Horus Heresy game with a Great Scouring.
We might see Scouring content, but it will still just be part of Heresy
Now that I think about it, when did all the xeno races start becoming a threat again to the Imperium?
Hi yes u called
no
Any time.
There was about as many hostile and peaceful alien races
Even during the Heresy?
the Imperium just wiped out most of the latter
now we are left with almost all the hostile ones
Yeah. Aliens were always around lol
Oh yeah, the Cabal.
The reason 40k only has hostile aliens is because the Imperium already killed all the non-hostile ones
So were there any battles where the Orks fought loyalists or Traitors?
During the Heresy
I mean orangutand
i wonder how eldars or necrons or other racers never met humans when human were on their before-space stage
There’s so much unexplored narrative space in all the human and inhuman cultures that have been wiped out. Imperials as horror villains, revenge and resistance stories.
Necrons were in their tombs and Eldar didn't care
That doesnt sell sm minis
One of the lamest parts of this setting unfortunately
none of this is ever explored
minus like
The one thing is aliens should k really be alien. They should be somewhat sympathetic but should also have really weird sensibilities that make us uncomfortable
civilization pops up
they get blown up
are there necron tumbs on tera
no
"this lasgun has killed 99% of life in the galaxy, unfortunately for you guardsmen youre fighting the last 1%"
why? 😠
Poop knife looted
Not the poop knife
Because they are on mars duh
Why do you think admech have so much green shit
and in the end, it’s just a man killing his son with a poop knife
No, a hoologan wkth face tattoos stabs horus with a poop knife and then horus gets rabies
seems like FS really considers adding them, if they are even mentioned in the banters
Heh. They dont :9
they just get namedropped like every single abhuman, faction and sub-faction in random convos, stop with the creepy coping
They should start namedropping fantasy and AoS elements just to see people go haywire
nah this game already has to deal with enough shit
sure, as well as SM, Sisters... GENESTEALERS...
Necrons...
I mean yeah, but its a funny thought at least
And necrons
I showed you the felenids you will get
Right here
I deny those filthy insinuations
I see that we are gooning today.
Too bad, those have a higher lore basis than what you are talking about
There is a file in the game that mention Nuln
To keep it in game related, low rank arbites have exposed mouth and jaw so they can suck the Lex better.
Its for the mic
Similarly some of the arbites go to gimp school
And come out with leatherman masks
Don't you mean ||blow|| the Lex better hur hur hur
Oh wait really?
Integrated mic in a fully closed helmet is not alien in 40K.
Yes, and Baltasar Gelt, some Genestealer...
As colour name
They just want to have that open...
Imagine Baltasar Gelt in 40k
Speaking about lore:
However, when Grekh saw me working on my notes, he assured me that felinids not only exist but are the form of humans he most respects. He tells me has has fought agaisnt them and found them to be the most efficient killers he has witnessed in a Militarum regiment. Apparently, they show a lethal cool in the face of even the most brutal opposition. When I asked if they were bestial in appearance, Grekh revealed that he finds it difficult to distinguish one human from another and that felinids, to his eyes, looked no different from me
Seems more like the idea of them being some hairy ugly creeps is a way of dealing with the truth exercised by some insecure w40k fans, afraid of exposing their internal cat girl lover 😛
Horrible but funny
Its a Kroot that say it...
LMAO
I really dont get the idea that this is some truth that some 40k fans made up; I would absolutely expect felinids to not look pretty nor like actual cat girls
Until it's something with eyes, it definitely can tell if a creature has hair or not. Like, I can definitely say that sphynx cats and Siberian cats are totally different in their appearance.
memes aside, youd think a race that crosswires human and feline DNA would be the result of the genetic engineering of the dark age of technology. People intentionally making cat people would probably be aiming for something that looks appealing to human sensibilites
or that a cat is a creature totally different from a dog
if nothing else i cant imagine the alfabusa cat tearing through enemies most regiments would tremble at as quoted by the kroot... the mental image is just kinda comical like the rabbit from monty pythons lol
Then again, we have death worlds' inhabitants that shred orc warbands to pieces..
tbf catachans are like baby ogryns
They want catgirls and refuse to accept any other possibility
Im okay with people gooning to that interpretation of felininds and catgirls, but like
Bruh
I dont care enough about felinids to see them tbh
The Kroot say they appear almost identical to basic humans
Also this
But its the kroot so
Not the most reliable source of information so do with that what you will
I can live with that!
Like if they make an appearance in game, cool! Im not complaining!
I just dont really care otherwise
They are described as having human-like features in lore sources. Humans can be pretty, can be ugly. I will definitely make mine pretty though, but it's good to have choices
Grekh says they look exactly like humans but also have a lot of hair and foot long claws
Grekh is also not a reliable narrator because he literally admits all humans look the same to him including abhumans
yeah
that would track
grekh is helpful with the human sized(like draik), has fur/hair and giant claws
but his whole "looks exactly like you" thing is probably wrong lol
The butthole cut or the no butthole cut ?
They have to shit somehow, so butthole cut
Grekh my beloved
A kroot telling us felinids resemble humans closely probably means they taste the same
anime eyes
felinid this felinid that
when is Krall gonna let the ogryns get a BBL
When is Krall going to kill Wolfer is what Im asking
someone said it mightbe ogors
Ogor time.....
the top left is like the most ogre ish part
those sharp teeth symbols
It's pretty reminiscent of an ogre
Ozzy Osbourne is dead
https://www.bbc.com/news/live/cn0qq5nyxn0t edited it to a better page
Damn
God dammit paywall thumbsdown
I HAVE A THEORY
are all kroot like that or is it just a him thing?
because not being able to tell an ogryn from a ratling seems like a major problem on the battlefield
Seemingly just a him thing. He identifies abhumans by scent and size lol
ah
He thinks the ratling brothers are just 2 really short humans
Until he smells them
Grekh is just kind of a weirdo who might have brain damage
whats that mini called?
is underworld the aos version of necromunda/killteam?
not really?
that is warcry
so where does underworld fall in terms of scale?
Spear tip doesn't line up
Underworld is skirmish scale
but its got cards and stuff
i see
It's much smaller instead of like squads it's usually just a few individuals
for example, Morgok's krushas
these guys are literally just three iron jawz
war cry and kill him are more like squads
i mean it might be a kurnothi aelef character
fair
this design is way too mechanical/brutalist
Kuronathi stuff usually looks "grown" or more smooth
Y’all hear the news?
i just want it not to be a space marine out of spite
Ozzy Osbourne passed away
Stupid peepee poopoo scale fake kiddie game is where
Warcry >>>>
Isn't that Spear most likely the Alpharius one ?
Pale something f
yeah its the pale spear
NOOOO! not Ozzy
Is 40k happening in a galaxy, or a universe
the milky way
The question was answered
I suck at geography
The Milky Way is a Galaxy
Alright thanks
The Universe is everything, hence it sharing a root with universal meaning for everyone
the milky way galaxy
no other event really takes place outside of it
this is where everything is focused on
Many Galaxies in the Universe, but ours is the Milky Way

They could theoretically meet the 40k verse
||which is why we get endless 40k VS Star Wars debates hurr hurr hurr||

They are different Universes, not Galaxies
Ok I fail
Or maybe they aren't
Star Wars does open with "Long time ago in a Galaxy far far away"
star wars vs 40k
2 hobos fighting
Back in 3rd Ed bigger money was on Star Wars just because it was more well rounded in terms of lore (Star Wars that is)
Then come modern era
The fact that GE keeps getting its teeth kicked in by Rebels
Means people usually say IoM has a better chance
But an odd equilibrium view has also emerged
In essence: if GE ever fights IoM, all of human Civilization loses because of the Nids/YuZhang Vong/Orks/Chaos all taking a chance to run rampant instead.
Damn now I'm all spooked thinking about space
Like what do you mean that's it's standard orbit, what do you mean it takes 11,400 years to do a single orbit.
Wait, this a new planet we havent seen yet?
Sedna, discovered about 22 years ago
Damn Im late to this then
"I'm not like the other planets"
Smh

The newest Necron weapon
The Warframe map makes it look deceptively closer XD.
Then again, the Orokin did crazy things, so they might have shifted Sedna’s orbit because…Orokin super fantasy science
“Truly, a weapon to surpass Metal Gear…”
and if you think Sedna is bad
…wow
I love how two of the planets have names
And then the other two are fucking
VP113
They aren't planets
Asteroids
Sedna is a Dwarf planet
and the other one translates as "The Goblin" I think it's too small to even be a Dwarf Planet
Damn we really got more orbiting celestial bodies in our solar system than I realized
Very cool
Their classification is Sednoid, because Sedna was the largest and discovered first
Da Red Gobbo but a planet
Sedna having the rathuum nodes in Warframe is funny
"Planet"
warframe is set literally millions of years in the future too
Talking about stellar phenomena
Alpha Legion - apparently even the real life star Alphard has some sort of second planetary body/shadow behind it or something like that.
It’s in the ass end of nowhere but the Grineer setup a gladiatorial arena lol
more than enough time for orbits to realign
Well I guess Keyla specifically set it up rather then the Grineer empire but still
Oh that is a bad image
Yea, that is definitely weird, and they allow outsiders to contest their leaders too!
Tbh it could also be a case of the Orokin moving it
that too
Keyla’s ego is a bit too big tbh
For her own good
Heh
I have to say her design looks like a certain Austrian painter lol
Her hair? Yeah
da fuck you mean half?
“WHY ARE THESE FOOLS STILL BREATHING MY AIR”
Vay Hek, Keyla De thaym and tyl Regor all have massive egos
It's why they demoted Pluto, there are like almost a dozen dwarf planets out there, so they either had to demote Pluto or start teaching kids about the the 16 planets of the solar system
not a single grineer boss isnt a massive egomaniac
Vor wanted to become a near god by giving us to the queens
I think the Sailor Moon fandom had a period where everyone was coming up with ideas about what happened to Sailor Pluto when the planetary classification demotion happened 😅
yes he was, us killing him showed that. he fully expected us to die to the bomb
I think it was like
Destiny 2 that made me realise
"WAIT THERES MORE PLANETS THAN 8 IN OUR SOLAR SYSTEM?"
I never knew moons were a thing lol
Like
Vor gives up on trying to do anything to us after we remove the Ascaris device
I mean yeah its also a fucking bomb
but that was just a failsafe
we literally hunt him down ourselves
rather then him actively going after us or taunting us
Mfw fucking Nessus
Tons of moons as well
Though Nessus is an exoplanet
fucking Makemake and Gonggong
iirc
Titan was probably my favorite vanilla D2 expansion
I liked the giant archologies and oilrig look + the ocean
LOL
Check out ‘The Old Peace’ TennoCon 2025 full 23-minute Gameplay Demo Reveal Trailer for Warfare, the hit free-to-play multiplayer third-person action shooter developed by Digital Extremes. This new gameplay demo takes players on a journey through a forgotten fragile period of peace and unity between Sentients and The Orokin, while watching t...
Nessus is a centaur, don't ask me why the classification is called Centaur, it just is
neat
I think it's to do with their position and the instability of their orbit
making the Operator relive their PTSD with this one
yeah the sentient forces in the new war where a shadow of their full power
But like that's for the classification of what a Centaur is, but no idea why they went with the name Centaur
The Sentient forces in the New War were the left overs of the invasion fleet and they still bashed the origin systems teeth in lol
yup
Oh, Centaurs typically exhibit characteristics of both Asteroids and Comets, hence centaur
I fucking miss Titan 🫡
The wind effects were also fun lol
I liked watching the physics on cloth objects on Titan lol
I wish we'd gotten to explore more of it, seeing things move in the campaign was fun
Orokin era Grineer look a lot like modern era
tbh
They look less rotted
but their armor is def really similar
its also different from the other Orokin era design we got for them lol
Looked much taller and more typical orokin gilded, I expected a bit more tbh
handsome squidwards or something
The new grineer armor designs in Old Peace are based on the female orokin era grineer armor from the intro
rather then the male one where its similar to the butcher armor
😳 🙈
hey do y'all think my teacher would count road rage as a form of violence
Though dominated by the din of war, The Old Peace gameplay demo from TennoCon 2025 also introduced a surprisingly serene reprieve from Tau's ancient battlefields in the form of a sentimental new song.
Vocalized in-game by a new character named Adis to calm and restore his fellow Sentients, "Lullaby of the Manifold" is now available to enjoy for...
its violent behavior
but its not necissarily always violence
is what I'd consider it
the same way screaming at someone isn't necessarily violence
though if it escalates to anything physical yeah its violence
yeah
its violent behavior and if it happens often its a good indicator of anger management problems
gotta do a presentation on a type of violecne we havent covered and i am not in the head space to do something like slavery lmao
people have already said it. Sometimes it's just frustration piling up them having to release them in anger but if it escalates to them throwing hands then yeah that's violence
i was gonna jsut do vehicular violence in general but most papers i found are just 'murder with a car'
that is what it is normally yeah
idk what its called when people run over animals and people with a car because they think they can egt away with it
NO WAY
ECHO FROM OVERWATCH
yeah, vehicular violence usually has intent to use the car as a weapon
even a small car weighs almost a ton and is little more than a self propelled battering ram
but she so queen
not many people can survive being hit by something like that directly
yeah full throttle that thing is gonna shatter someone's bones
I once saw a 240p video of someone recording the airplane wheels that were driving to take off or land
You see one frame of a very vaguely deer-shaped object
Guh
And then it gets misted
oh yeah that one
gone
Changed my brain chemistry witnessing that at like 15
reduced to atom
Genuinely insane
It's one of those things that would almost be funny how ridiculous it is, if it weren't so sad
ngl i love the fact that soulframe has music as a centeral pillar of its story, DE really playing to their strengths and im glad to see it be a part of warframe too
VOID LUGGER
New racist cephalon goes crazy
How is this case an example of, or how does it relate to, a "wicked problem?"
To answer this question, you might think about the various actors and global systems involved.
how can i link road violence to a bigger problem
oh fuckin
car companies making cars bigger = power complexs = more road violence
deer shaped you say
i that skin for the sentinels
It’s a good skin tbh
yeah
this looks a raisin i chewed up with bubblgum mixed in

mmmm Bear
thats also true for like half the warframes lol
yeah we have the stag the wolf and soon the bear omen beast
the power of the past and the gods of nature
I do think its interesting how much DE likes the evil oppressive empire that causes mass pollution and likes the colors gold
between the Orokin and Ode
yeah
and Synod would fit in with the Orokin very well
dude is out here making everyone worship him as a god and taking everything the planet has to offer for himself
is a sister of battle, aeldari soldier, tech priest, 2 pskyers and a guardsman taking down 5 chaos marines at all feasible lore wise
2 psykers alone could easily do in 5 chaos marines
the other 3 just seal the deal by being a decent distraction
the favorite common psyker ability pointing at someone and making their head literally explode, there's nothing any marine can do about that without supernatural protections of their own (purity seals, chaos charms, etc) which are not guaranteed
Yes.
The Eldar would shit his pants & die and the guardsman would just die but psykers and tech priests have insane power ceilings
Yrliet can hold her own for the most part, but the two psykers could mash the marines flat, or blow out their brains, or invert their organs, or cause them to incinerate from inside out, etc.
The Techpriest is made mostly of alloys and composites and carries plasmaguns and meltas. Easily capable of dropping marines like flies.
It is a misconception I see people make—that because Tech Priests are 'priests', they are incapable of defending themselves against dangerous foes.
I thought one of the most commonly sought augments were those that made you more dangerous
Aside from those that help with your duty of being a tech priest, that is
Those are almost always one and the same.
my favorite subject the iron hand that decided he needed chain teeth
Salvage.
I know but my ocd hates it
Nah its entirely feasible.
2 psykers is fucking overkill lol
assuming its an eldar guardian
and not like an aspect warrior lol
But its more then feesible
esp with 2 psykers
if its just 1 psyker its still very easy lol
for the guardsmen it depeneds entierly on what gun they have
Honestly gives me hope that one day
if its a lasgun they're deadweight aside for distraction
Although we probably won't do FTL with our
current knowledge of physics
we could at least reach the moon
or mars
SoB, Techpriest, Eldar guardian and psykers can all do it with their entire selection of guns aside from small las weapons for the techpriest ig
Asteroid mining would fulfill a lot of our resource shortages
they contain a lot of valuable stuff
and we got a fuck ton of asteroids
||assteroids||
A plasma gun would probably be able to take down two
all five if they're really lucky and don't catch a bolt to the head
Like for the guardsmen they've really really really got the short end of the stick
lol
in terms of average weapons
the other ones all are normally equipped with something that can kill a marine easily
Basically said guardsman either needs a plasma gun or a melta
was about to ask that myself
steam is doing its biweekly server maintenance
I'd assume
damn guess i can't build my npc houses smh
Wednesday night...can't fault the logic I suppose
was about to get arbites DLC at last lol
rip
rip
one psyker can definitely solo five marines.
provided they're like... not a minor one
like an astra telepathica average

Allow me to repent with this joke then
How would the Alpha Legion defeat every single Gundam in existence?
||Why they murder the pilots outside of their cockpits of course||
Find a new Gif smh
begun, the gif wars have
That Gifs been around for so goddamn long
Build a bridge and get over it lmao
Yes
That's relativly new
Actual fresh content
I think I just don't like old gifs and memes because they make me feel old
Sure, what ever makes you happy
That's.... sad
meh

Its fine to be aware you're going to die
it just feels weird knowing how much time has passed since I started this hobby
Fair enough. Never really a joyful topic though
My sister has gotten kids, i finished my degrees, my parents are getting old..
You tell me...
Memento mori
Goes hard even after more than 2000 years
But still not a wholesome sentence
I have enjoyed living far to much for the inevitability of death to excite me
I accept the fact that I should have done more with my life.
In the same way that, rather than being excited or fearing death, I just know it comes at some day.
Fair enough
so cassia being insanely op in rogue trader is lore accurate?
Cassia isn't a psyker but yes
shes underpowered
if anything compared to lore
As a navigator looking into her eye is death
navigators aren’t pskyers?
why do you think they keep their 3rd eye covered
though they can do things similar to psykers
that shit can literally wipe you from existence
its through their third eye
lol
idk when she opens it and does 18 damage in a small cone it’s not super impressive
Almost like its an RPG
Cassia opening her third eye should instantly kill/cripple anyone in front of her
forever

lol
yeah

Yeah if that was real she'd one-shot EVERY fodder enemy you come across
which, you know
isnt really fun
shot once by las gun
lol
dies
lmao yea
Do you think
dark heresy the CRPG
will have an exact 1 to 1
of the fear and shock table
can't wait to die in my first encounter via heart attack
It is the same system
they directly mention fear and shock
I would be shocked if they kept the table an exact 1 to 1
since they did redo the perils table for RT
also I doubt insanity and mental traumas will be added
on the Tabletop Dark Heresy plays a lot less power fantasy than Rogue Trader does
I would like to see the insanity and trauma
I bet they'll just use the normal trauma system sadly (I want to have a heart attack mid fight)
from the Tabletop to an extent
make it more narrative then mechanical
Fear and Shock is core to combat though
Are we playing the same game
so I'd assume it'll stay around but be toned down
Like Rogue Trader you could be expected to fight a Space Marine and live, while Dark Heresy even at higher levels you could still get one tapped by a lucky ganger with a stub revolver
Dark Heresy sounds like it's just 40k but if you weren't obviously a writer's main character
Yea the Inquisitor you work for is the main character, you're the goons
Like in the rulebooks there isn't even a section for giving stats to your Inquisitor because they're so powerful it's just assumed they'd win
You handle shit they could deal with easily, but don't have time for
why isn’t this weaponized by the imperium
navigators are super limiteed
her and my RT are my only characters that im not following a build for
i’m just going fuck it and clicking on what looks cool
and it’s not working
because the Imperium is stupid
tbf dark heresy also suffers from horrific balancing so you can end up near unkillable
but yeah the intent def isn't that
Using Nav as an utility allows the Imperium to use so many other things as weapons.
That's fair, I would do the same but putting something on my character without understanding how it works irks me so for most of early game level ups I would be sitting there for like ten minutes
Granted, my bio psyker RT has seemingly turned out like dogshit but that's alright
He's at least semi tanky with utility which still works
na
RT didnt use basically any of the rules
this is true
but they mention fear and shock in one of their interviews
which is why I'm wondering how they'll adapt it
She literally is my crutch bro
until I got my pyromancer online she was critical
3 billion damage flashbang directly into your soul
fuck you
and everyone in a roughly 45° cone
open twitter
@rxcistsalamander: "ultramarines are a white based chapter"
close twitter
that's how you know bro needs to be beaten with hammers
at least he's novel
a racist salamander is a first
Vulkan would probably deglove his testicles
none of the chapter masters are racist lmao
no its not
i mean
ignean
for me its a first
fuckin pirmarchs
AHAHAHAH
Oh yeah
Oh you mean fans
Lmaoooll
Knowing there are racist salamanders is a little comforting
they aren't the uwu goodboys
I mean
they literally have a company that specializes in torching civillians
sorry I mean
dissenters

Salamanders are like that guy you hate that is legitimately a good person so if you vocally state it ppl will look at you wierd
Yeah
But Sa'kan
The Pyroclasts which were founded from the Legions ex destroyers
turns out uh
they really really like killing people
Based
I do like how Vulkan went no destroyers
I like space marines that are cunts
and his legions destroyers got around that by making the most horrific meltas they could possible
because of how much they didn't like being told to stop
i forgot who were the salamanders who commited such horrible warcrimes they were disowned
The Pyroclasts
they dress like this
wait werent they jsut a unit and not a chapter/black shield?
