And what does grey water do on their side to help ease the alliance hopefully
Greywater fastness has a zombie, and skeleton issue
Kill the undead
The sylvaneth want them gone now
but there's a treaty in place
ok so sylvaneth have a higher chance of not putting a giant wooden bolt through my head compared to wood elves
No
the sylvaneth are ironically less xenophobic
they only get mad when you start fucking with their specific groves
which are marked
with a giant GLOWING RUNE
Have there been cases of them letting in outsiders in their Groves
good good
Hammerhal Ghyra
now granted if you start messing with the trees in it
you will probably disapear in a back alley
We’re talking about AOS?!
my GOATs
they do nothing wrong
ever
totally
those random people deserved to die for needing firewood
they do have at least semi permanent Allie’s depending on the glade
Yeah
OK so if I meet a genuinely rather not that racist sylvaneth grove and somehow respect every rule they have i can live
There’s the ironbark being besties with duardin, idk if the one in the green lake are friends with the Idoneth still or not
The ones in the green lake are indifferent
the ones in Hammerhal Ghyra are friends
unless you start fucking with their specific groves
Living city is living city
but at that point thats like breaking someones window
and wondering why they're mad at you
lol
Lmao
"why do the Duradin want to kill me after I pushed over one of their statues smh"
Technically the Sylvaneth and greywater fastness have a pact, but it’s uh
You are allowed to go through but go anywhere besides that road I'm going to skin you
“Yeah god says not to completely murder the other side
And use your blood as fertilizer
Tree mom did say “stop fucking fighting until shit chills pls”
me when the zombies are a bigger issue
anyways GHYRA!!!!!!!!
Best mortal realm
I am not biased
absolutely 0 bias
My favorite is shyish or Ghur probably
Also the one that's getting absolutely railed the most
reasonable
If nurgle wanted to win he should have realized that they could dump lava on his forces smh
still annoyed hammerhal's relics are mostly aqshy stuff
smh
but seriously every faction under the son is pilling on it
yeah and its hilarious
i love ghur because it aligns in my rather violent tastes
to be fair it is a smart move to break the realm
a lot of vital supplies come from there
I hate that the objectively best Realm is still not that explored in AoS
Azyr
Aurora Borealis going on all the time every day
Tbf we have alot of pictures of it
Is Hysh not a nicer realm to live on ?
Mostly
But I reckon that may not last forever
AoS has been tending towards a darker theme, slowly but steadily
The only reason I kind of want a FS game in AoS is to see all the realms, and some of the smaller ones
I'd imagine you'd only ever see a handful of Realms at most
I could see them do all the realms over the course of the game
More so if they do "sectors" again
They can make it soul bound too
so that they have a lot of choices
for characters
Yeah, we really need more on the ground stories for AoS
Or reincarnate the U5 if they need to
You're one cruel guy
What, why
The U5 get to do what they do best
ain't no way after all they went through you're deciding to bring them back to life for more work
FOR ETERNITY
If they do VT3 (imo no) they ought to continue/return the U5
PRAISE SIGMAR!
Bro out here defying in only in death does duty and
🤞 that FS's next project isn't SM, isn't 40k, isn't with GW, and isn't Ip based
Anyone know when Danie Ware's Sister Augusta series takes place?
It takes place at a point in time
Aka we don't know, 40k stories generally don't have fixed dates
The biggest indicator we have is like
Pre or post great rift
Would it be possible for a guards men to be on ||cadia when it fell|| and also be on tertium during the events of darktide?
That would be the Cutthroat personality
Maybe those soldiers traveled into the future as part of a Warp rift
Gotcha thanks
On char creation their readup starts with "I watched a world die"
And they constantly mention the fall of cadia
So kinda safe bet they were there
Oh
Still can’t believe the guard kept fighting even after ||cadia fractured||
Thank goodness the Kasrs were pressurized
What’s a kasrs? (I don’t know much about 40k lore)
A Kasr is one of the fortress cities of Cadia
Ohhhhhhh
Jump pak has seen better days 😔
Love me Plaige Marines
That might be the most vague answer ever lol. Thanks tho
It's the only one we have
40k authors don't usually bother with the date and half the time the dates we're given make no sense
We're all over the place rn but before most things perpetually happened in 999 M41
Alrighty 👍
Plaige Marine
Ouef
Reiver
X"au
My favorite factions
In lore, even the Imperium has no idea what year
Warp travel and being an intergalactic empire does that. Time dilation is a bitch.
There are literal arguments and wars over what year
All they know is that it's probably in the 41st/42nd millennium
Maybe
So even in lore, if you asked people what year it is.
You are probably gonna start a fight
Because somebody said that it's the 39th millennium.
Then the 36th
And so on and so forth
So basically in both a watsonian and doylist sense
It's one big
"idk lol"
The Great Rift broke time across the Universe as well
Personally I was shocked as anyone when I saw that they added dates to AoS of all things
Why do people want Russ to save the eldar goddess? Should it not be the eldar who do that lol
Isha
Come on... Eldar? Doing something?!?
Cause some people massively prefer the SM over the rest of the setting
Because they’re weird
Jokes aside it’s because they like Marines a lot
And want something big to happen when the biggest marines of all a primarch comes back
Yeah its generally just dumbass space marine favoritism
Sadly we don’t see the same suggestion with Khan
Russ was known to be looking for the “tree of life” to cure the emperor
Before he went poof
That’s why the theory even exists
If isha is freed it should be the eldar that do it lol
I don’t even care which flavor
Some farseers and warlocks got close once
Anyways GW hasn’t done something that inane yet
So I don’t think they will
Regarding Russ and Isha
It is worth remembering Guilliman and Yvraine is nothing more than the fan memes
possibly of desperately lonely guys, but I don’t want to push it that far.
Yeah
GW has them literally talk about how once the alliance ends they’ll likely try to kill each other lol
I would really like more white scars content or learn what the khans been up to. Know they never sold as well as the others but I thought they were really cool
I heard some YouTuber say he is doing donuts in the parking lot outside of vect’s palace on his bike which is funny
If he did that he'd get thrown into a blackhole or pocket dimension
Nah, he’d out speed them
He’s just too fast
Yeah I don’t really know how the khan would work out in commorragh. He’s supposedly insanely fast but dark eldar kinda don’t play fair lol
I mean he wouldnt
people really like
I'm of the opinion if he's in comorragh
Hes lucky more that nobody cares about him
yeah
if Vect knew hes alive he'd be fucked
Tbh I'm of the opinion he's in the black library
He just got lost in the webway
somewhere
I’m really sad TTS ended before we gotta to see the khan in commorragh
Wanted too see their take on it
tbh its basically probably what you all said
its a pretty low hanging fruitbowl of ideas so lol
Do the dawn of war dlcs have any relevance to the blood raven story?
what’s a primaris
Yes, @vital ginkgo
Upgraded space marines
"second generation" space marines with more organs and improved biology, in addition to new equipment
They were made because GW wanted to rescale marines so they released an entire new range
They got 3 extra organs, are a little bigger and just overall perform better
Also fun fact the older space marines generation can be made primaris if they are fit enough and lucky enough to survive the procedure
You get a free pass if you had a mini before
I haven't heard of a named character dying from Crossing the Rubicon
Yeah they do, every single Dawn of War game is canon.
they have canon endings as well
like how Boreal cost the entire Chapter half its companies

Yeah named is plot armour galore but if you are unnamed it is like 80% chance you don't make it apparently
Its down to under 50%
by The Arks of Omen stuff
Oh so it's improved
yeah like that basicially lol
Do the black templars still kill any new batch of primaris sent to them
a large public occurence they'd get exterminated lol
I mean the dlc expansions like dark crusade or any of those
Do the dlc stories have any relevant connection to the main story
to the Blood ravens yeah
I mean the Blood ravens got humiliated because of that dumbass boreal
Yes they are.
they all got canon endings decided by GW/next games
Gorgutz won
he beat everyone
oh also the C'tan got retcon'd into being a shard
and the pariahs don't exist but yknow
Alrighty thanks 👍
Basically Marines won Dark Crusade, Orks won the Soulstorm one
The only semi successful Warhammer game in recent times that didn't get a canon ending which tied back into the bigger narrative was battlefleet gothic armada 2 I think
Yeah its only non-canon after Spire gets out of the Warp
because he does some wild shit lol
Is spire a canon character
yeah i was shocked at how the campaigns just have you casually wasting critical setting characters
have to respect it for de-marvelizing at least
^
He is.
Any game with a GW
stamp on it is canon
we can rationally assume that BGA 2 is literally canon as well, it's just Spire's Warp-filled hallucination after the gellar field flickered
Lol or that yeah
its like THE only 40k game in existence where you can kill big-name canon characters.
Its actually hilarious
Nothing like Darkhammer's Wild Ride having you blow up ALL of the eldar leaders in one mission
I went into it like "Oh I see so we're just gonna push them out of the sector and make them retreat right?"
Boy did Darkhammer have other plans
Its even funnier when you blow him up
and nothing happens
because Spire has like so many famous political figures backing him up
When I looked up how Darkhammer's basically a cover art character and you still just nuke him casually
It was wack
Its so fucking funny lol
I do love how derranged they get
with each of the campaigns
I wish we got an Eldar and Ork one as well
we got a nid one but no Eldar or Ork
smh
Same but alas poor sales
we were also gonna get BFG3 but it got cancelled
Yeah i have a friend who worked as a ship modeller/concept artist
basically iwas greenlit by GW
the issue was
GW said the studio must fund the game completely themselves, when GW usually helps with the process
lmfao

so they were like "nah nvm"
having a TYRANID campaign before Eldar was actually unreal tbh
Two choices for your campaign around interesting subfactions and dialogue between characters:
Culturally-Diverse Eldar
Actual nonsentient copy-pasted bugs
The answer WILL shock you
the nid campaign
is also genuinely super boring
I'm 99% sure they made it because it was way less effort
that was my thought as i was typing that up
you just got narrator lady as the only character
it had to have been just because it was much easier to make
especially since imo chaos campaign is the best one (aside from the main one obviously)
being the one that actually cost money
the chaos one and base imperial one are the best
then necrons in third/second place
Nids can go pound sand
tbh like
the Nid campaign's only saving grace
is the comedy
"HOLY EMPEROR I CAN HEAR THEM IN THE WALLS"

I once had an idea where Russ basically had to sacrifice himself to bring a God back
ship expodes
An Eldar campaign would've been legendary for BG
Idk it was a half baked thing
What could've been...
Yeah because like-
the writing for this game is actually excellent
the banter is legendary for just portraits on a message box
Its why when people ask I ALWAYS recommend them to watch an all-cutscenes video on youtube
Yeah Battlefleet
Haven't played it (yet).
But I have seen some yt videos
The dialogue is genuinely entertaining
I will give it that
Yeah the actual game is too hard for me lol
Actually really interesting to see so many interactions between all the different factions
Like I think this is also why Dawn of War was loved so much as well
Since DoW had many hypotheticals and banters between the factions
Think my favorite is the Imperial Guard vs Space Marines
The wacky thing is that it's easier than the first one
and BFG2 still is one of those games where I have to restart my campaign like 20 times
I legitimately got filtered by the first one's first non-tutorial mission
@late osprey https://youtu.be/DnPLjA3vEG8?si=PouaoUSLiExlicHC
Dialog between Thule and Alexander during the Blood Ravens stronghold mission.
Music: Gundam - Char's Counterattack - 10 - Axis (Shigeaki Saegusa)
I like this interaction despite it being short
Also
The chapel comment is scathing lmao
And also apparently when you attack the stronghold you get some SM allies
Inter-Imperial Conflict is interesting
I wish we had more in-lore ones
Also
Eliphias's voice in DoW 1 is my favorite. I wish he kept it
Dialog between Eliphas and Thule during the Word Bearer Stronghold mission.
Music: Full Metal Alchemist Ost 2 - 27 - Revelation (Michiru Oshima)
He has recordings of every single possible cinematic/narrative moment in the Dawn of War series
Also "Then I won't lie to you brother. You've been lied to enough"
Fire
I like the idea of the Chaos Space Marine faction being less
"KILL THE WORSHIPPERS"
Dialog between Eliphas and Alexander during the Imperial Guard Stronghold.
Music: Berserk - 07 - Monster (Susumu Hirasawa)
And more thinking that they're genuinely misguided and wanting to convince them to join the Dark Gods
Dark Crusade-era Eliphas goes down as one of the greats.
Dark Crusade Chaos altogether has some great lines
"IT IS A POOR SHEPHERD THAT BLAMES HIS FLOCK"
Eliphas has failed Chaos for the last time.
Music: Painkiller - Menu (Marcin 'Cedyn' Czartynski)
I think my favorite dialogue is when Eliphias encounters the Necrons
Even though the dialogue is rather boring on the Necron part
Because
Pre-rework
A Chaos Space Marine being genuinely concerned that the enemies he fights are literally soulless are interesting
Objective improvement
But if you want to hear a hot take of mine
Let the Hive Mind be a character
Honestly not a terrible idea
Not the Tyranids, just the Hive Mind
It's not like it'd make the Tyranids more boring
Although maybe you could make something similar to the Reapers in Mass Effect
I have had the idea that the Tyranids go around to cleanse the galaxies as some sort of
Viral Immune System of a wider universe
Like the 40k Galaxy is awful
Why would you want the shit it has to spread?
Tbf it would ruin the mystery of the Tyranids
And honestly that's the only interesting thing
But I also think it's worth it to have at least a couple of interesting things in it
Beyond just
"BUGS"
"MORE BUGS"
"ERHM askhually they're closer to crustaceans"
"Shut up before I eat you."
Basically y'know how the Gravemind for the Flood
Is a thing
I'm thinking of maybe making the Hive Mind similar to that in role
It keeps the "terrifying horde of bugs"
But it also would be interesting if the gigantic vast alien intelligence
...
Was an intelligence

imo no
the nids have a niche rn they occupy perfectly
True. Although you could argue that the Orks occupy it also
But there is enough room for two hordes of biological terrors

why are the tyranids bugs instead of their namesake, are they stupid?
Yeah

DoW III voice acting is very underrated imho
Can't believe there are no videos compilated the voicelines of that game
Tbf it's probably because DoW 3 is widely considered to be
What from I heard
Equivalent to Pacific Rim 2 in that it "doesn't exist"

Dow2 mods are the unofficial dow3
Doubly true for the specific Doctor the picture chose.
The guy before tenant wasn't that bad but that's when I kinda stopped watching
Tenant I heard wasn't bad either
Christopher Eccleston’s time was too short, he was a good one too, yea
In fact many of his novels take place in the brief period he left Rose and then (to us observers) comes back several seconds later to pick her up again.
In the very first TV episode
are cyber-mastiffs just dog servitors?
Not servitors, augmented dogs
Depending on type some are lobotomized/have different things suppressed
And I think GW just released actual robot dogs for the Palanite Enforcers as well
Well they are called Hardcase Cyber Mastiffs but they look full on robot. Maybe with dog wetware per Ad Mech dictates…
Guys bare with me what if you had a titan dog that moves on 4 legs
Controlled by a knight or something
Has the imperium ever worked with the drukhari?
I know they’ve tricked the tau before, wondered if the imperium ever learned that lesson too
Huh
As in the imperium asked the drukhari
There was a plot by several of the high lords
To have a haemonculi take a look at the throne
Wha
And come up with a solution to implement
The payment was several billion people
But the high lords agreed to it
How it went wrong is the Haemonculi was onboard with it until they overdosed on pain on terra
And came up with a new idea
They were gona steal a bit of flesh from the emperor and make their own emperor clone
How did the custodes not immediately rip it apart
They didn’t know until the dude went insane from pain
The fabricator general had access to the throneroom anyways
The original plan was to sneak the haemonculi in as a tech priest so he could take a look
Except the moment dude stepped on terra he overdosed from all the pain and suffering and went crazy
Crazy
Thats so dumb
Though funny
And that was when others who are not in the plot just decided “nope not doing this again…for now.”
(Imperium side that is)
The drukhari had something to do w the creation of the golden throne iirc
pretty sure it's also revealed they're trying to make their own golden throne
Oops elite wolf allready covered that and it wasn't the creation my bad
Yep
i see, so our dogs in darktide are not lobotomized, just heavily augmented
They seem to have fear response and some emotional stuff removed/restricted
But yes
Glaito in rogue trader can show affection and such
So it’s obviously not universal for cybermastiffs
It 100% depends on your personality
I know auths dog prob has no emotions via their interaction with fatalist
Oh no his definitely has personality
Because he initiates this conversation
Male Authoritarian : “I noticed your Cyber Mastiff getting startled on our way here from the Valkyrie”
Male Fatalist : “You're seeing things. They don't have emotions”
Male Authoritarian: “Then perhaps some form of Altitude based Malfunction?”
The first thing he asked is your dog seems a bit startled there than fatalist tells him he's just seeing things and they don't feel things
Authoritarian is like very nice for an arbites
doesn't push my agenda
I’ve heard some people say golden throne is necron tech, some say it’s eldar tech
I kinda lean more towards eldar though cause psyker
Like it you're going to make a no personality dog character
Maul is right there
I refuse to play maul
Apparently the necrons made a device that just unlocks psyker powers though so idk what there deal is lol
Okay but if i'm going to rank them the amount of the personalities they keep
First would be authoritarian
Second would be fatalist and third would be maul
For their dog
mhm I agrees
authoritarian has the most alive dog?
mine makes megazord noises
It's a lore wise thing based on dialogue
authoritarian is like very nice for an arbites
maul is the average arbites
How are orphaned children selected to attend the schola progenium? Does the imperial government just send them there?
pretty much
yeah but the selection for the schola is so inconsistent in lore, most ways kids get in is if their parents die in service.
Imagine being able to solo in dt as a evesor
Gotcha, thx
imagine being a vindicare
It’s eldar, DAOT, imperium, mechanicus, and old ones tech at the minimum
Lol
All of the above
Tbf any of the assasinorum assassins would brutalize the things we fight aside from the daemon host and BoN
Took the audio from Prosnorkulus 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiOM5ecFWW8
Thanks to "Vodkason" for making the tent background or me. Check out his art at: http://killakatana.deviantart.com/
Also check out http://masteralighieri.deviantart.com/ , he does good pictures.
This was fun to work with.
I love the lore behind the school they come from
pretty much the only unifying factor is being an orphan. Could be a noble orphan or ship-rat. Only pre-req is being parentless and ending up on their doorstep.
They’re all heavily augmented monstrosities lol
orm the aformentioned kid of sob
Taken in as kids and tested over and over
techniocally not an orphan
Getting sent to the assasinorum from the schola progenium
Perfect I'm the art of death
Might be one of the worst fates lol
nah you could have really good handwriting
on a schola close to a forge world
Oh good god lol
Forced to kill your peers

Tbf the people they pick would enjoy that
It's some jhon wick shit
The assasinorum looks for people with those uh
Drip
tendencies
anyway I'm assuming large portions of the schola don't get put anywhere nice
and end up as just clerks
M Authoritarian is a borderline desk jockey
not a bad thing
cullexes
I like the sadistic one, I forget the name
eversor?
fatalist? Maul?
or you man the maul
Fatalist yeah
maul is the antisocial one
F Fatalist and M Maul are evil lol
Its warhammer, they all are
http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Eversor
This gave me an idea on future plans.

next class leaks
For the first week it was maul more maul and can I interest you in perhaps more maul
well pure sadistic
I AM THE LEX
Its funny seeing Solomorne in rogue trader pretend like he's not attached to his cyber mastiff lol
rip vox lady though
Well at least the fingers she lost were on her augmented hand, so its not like she was hurt
you will just have to get a long eared kloppa as rfeocmpenmse
Don't remind me :(
morrow
sometime in between killing Old One Eye and fighting Huron Blackheart 🤷
but before he had tea-time with Girlyman
thought he had tea with the khan
retconned
dang
Fatalists are so corny.
Btw
For the new cutscenes
Have we finally met brunt

I need to know

Nope
NAURRR
THAT'S IT
FAT SHARK?
MORE LIKE SKINNY FISH

0/10 GAME
ABSOLUTE TRASH

we've seen him in one cutscene cramped into his lil shop that's about it
this plotline is never moving forward💔
Didn't it move forward with the campaign update thingy?
Or is it just putting pre-existing text stuff and/or fluff into cutscenes
it just took what we knew (Brunt going into the underhive for a mission) into a cutscene iirc
Hate that when I looked up the campaign cutscene compilation, it was for an Arbites character
Even though the arbites
Literally have less story content
And it says this
The campaign is mainly for the reject character though...
imagine an ogryn trying to fit through a vent
The entirety of ogryn are actually instinctly claustrophobic
You can train it out of them though
me and you
Yeah but I am sure there is always a level of it still behind
Like I can't see an ogryn willingly going into something like a vent
the whole claustrophobic thing is kind of dumb anyway
what evolutionary advantage do you get by being naturally scared of tight spaces
So I'm glad most people that make ogryns ignore it
to be fair thats not how evolution works
it doesnt inherently go for what is the most optimal
its more like a shaped plinko machine
a creature could definitely evolve claustrophobia if its origins were a mutation that allowed ancestors to, say, avoid stumbling into caves and getting eaten by cave-predators
yeah but like really
you're telling me the giant monsters that could dent Tanks with punches
is afraid of tight spaces>
do NOT look up how elephants react to small critters
Yeah but these guys are basically Cavemen level intelligence but just bigger and stronger
like i can understand them being simple
Because they have reverted back to more primitive ways of living because of the way they evolved that I can pass
instincts still exist even in humans
it's really not outrageous at all
That's just silly
not outrageous but dumb
like if you remove that people will treat ogryns the same way
haha big ogre smash things
How does Ralsei know the answer???
A standalone segment from a longer Deltarune video I've been pondering on.
I am uncertain of my commitment to it so consider this a "Probably Teaser"
You guys know Deltarune Chapter 3+4 is out??! For MONEY?? (worth it tho)
https://deltarune.com/
So yeah, more new classes confirmed by the devs. I wonder what they'll be. I have a wishlist and a few guesses.
Prob something related to the mechanicus if we're being safe
NGL kinda concerning, the original 4 are so comprehensive that it's hard find too many of the classes without at least one of them being "base class+" which has killed at least one game i loved before for me
i will never forget For Honor's Warmonger class
You mean warden 2
exactly
so i do dearly hope nothing like that happens in darktide
warmonger actually ruined FH for me
your interests are quasi furry
I've been surrounded by furries for the past 6 years so it's rubbed off on me
But I've been an asriel fan since 2015 so I have no one to blame but me
Maybe Toby for making him
phrasing
oh don't you dare use that on someone
we have eyewitnesses of the shit you say here
no snitches in here
You can read it as Fatalist trying to deflect the fact he hasn't lobotomised his Mastiff as he was expected to do
Oh you play For Honor too? Nice
It wasn't that bad. You actually got me more hyped up now. Lol
Played
But if you still like it, kudos
What's wrong with F Fatalist?
Yeah, I knew a few friends who just straight up retired after a few years because it was all super speed after a point.
Gameplay was changed, armor gear practically cosmetics nowadays don't do anything etc. Everything is super fast nowadays.
I just don't like all of the ridiculous classes.
They mean to the rejects idk
And Warden 2 essentially was the ultimate "F you they will keep getting more ridiculous"
They're all a bit like that tbh
Frankly, not a single class addition was good even up to the Centurion class IMO, but it was all playable until Warden 2
Except Black Prior, that one was okay.
The Chinese classes weren't that bad either.
But that's still a low batting average.
As a Maul, I personally like the lore accurate stuff in-game. I'm not a lore expert by any means, but if a Space Marine started holding hands with a Tyranid.. I'd question it. Lol
It's probably why I picked some VOs for certain things.
Such as a Veteran Loose Cannon, for that true conscript experience. For extra immersion. The rejects reject. Yah get me? Now it's all full circle. I have 2 characters on opposite spectrums of the Lex. Ogryn for comedy relief. I haven't played my Zealot or Pysker in eons.. lol I just don't like their play styles personally or builds. Not my jam. Funny because I like Sith Lord stuff.
Plus it added more to the immersion, if everyone was wholesome and nice or just better or decent or trying to be friendly.. it becomes uncanny valley given the context. I can only imagine certain characters being tolerant or friendly with each other, like if they have similar goals or origins etc.
It's all about the vibes.
I approve your view on things
Sometimes rejects can be a bit too chummy for one an other but I don't mind that much
After all 40K exists to make people laugh
Yeah, the game really has become deadliest warriors 2.0.
I don't mind that to be honest
makes them seem relatively more human
and in this setting that is a pretty high praise
That said, I'm actually a Fatalist main through and through lol
Humanity is quite good at shining through the dark, sometimes anyway...
I may not like the Psyker Loner as an Imperium loyalist fan, but his quotes are hella funny. Very sassy. Lol
Kind of the same reason why I like Loose Cannon.
It's unfortunate that Cadian Professional Brawler hybrid VO doesn't exists though.
I miss OG Guardsman from Dawn of War. It's literally all those 3 VOs put together.
I also recommend Dawn of War if y'all haven't played it yet.
Never heard of it
Yeah, it's even more deep when a "mean or evil" VO says something nice to the oppressed rejects or a fellow reject etc. Then you know stuff is about to hit the fan. Lol
Movie logic
Just humanizes the characters makes em more grounded or relatable or more believable etc.
It's an old game
Getting a remaster or something on PC steam soon.
Can you play tyranids in it?
only on dawn of war 2
Probably, I can't remember. I played the Imperial Guard, and I remember fighting Orks, Tau, Eldar, Necrons, Chaos. It has Space Marines and Sisters of Battle, but there's probably mods for it by now.
Well, as long as I can field Rubric Marines
Yeah, been looking for an RTS where I can field armies of Dire Avengers for a while.
Dawn of War 3 bad IMHO, skip that one. 1 and 2 are good.
Yeah, since I'm on PlayStation 5 nowadays.. Owlcat is my only hope for strategy Warhammer 40k games, but in terms of good RTS for console I'm cooked unless they port Dawn of War, Star Craft, Command and Conquer etcetera to PlayStation 5. Lol
Dow1 and 2 have some great mods aswell
There's more than one schola
Also I'd play 3 for the sake of playing it
Will prolly buy it next sale
CA is reportedly working on a Warhammer 40k total war title
So there is hope in there for a good 40k RTS
i hope to god they make a new engine for it if they do
because the current total war engine ain't gonna hold up
They are gonna have to
As I feel 40k for sure needs space navel combat
Speaking of, is that DOW remaster actually a real thing
Battlefleet gothic
Yes got a trailer and all
It’s not perfect but it’s pretty good
Any idea when?
Yeah I love it but apparently any chances for a 3rd game are dead
I think it's just some upscaled textures, new audio and the ability to run on current systems without issues
It is just a remaster not a remake
They aren’t gonna refresh models or lore? Cause the necron stuff is pre refresh
I don't think so
For that to happen they kinda need to reboot the series
Which they should
Guess I’m sticking with unification then
Unification dev said they'd be developping for the remake remaster actually
Remaster not remake
Sorry for being pedantic
No problem
It'll make the game much more playable probably
Moreover
It'll be a god send for modding
Just don't want people getting their hopes up too much
Did the Devs behind the remaster say they got a modding framework in place for release
Oh man didn't realise DOW was 32 bit
It's like 20 years old lol
Actually now that I think about it makes sense
Wdym? Didn't you know how old it was?
I knew it was old but I thought it would have had 64bit update already
Anyways I got like the entirety of DOW 1 for free because I picked it during a giveaway and then they updated it and the update just made the whole DOW 1 set of games available
Like the update happened end of last year
That is another reason I thought it might have been 64bit
Not this total war 40k shit again
If they actually do manage to pull this off then they are probably planning to expand total war to other modern/future conflict settings
me rollin up 2 join the club
what’s dow
just mod stellaris
Dawn of war
It's an equity index of a couple dozenish big companies that's a commonly used indicator for general market health / trends
It’s an extremely good rts 40k game
You just gotta mod it to work on post Y2K computers (I’m only partially joking)
What the heck am I looking at?
ty ty
classic
Iv got this real itch to play a ttrpg lately
I'm w/ my bro & his ride if u care
This is great
he looks like the Harry Potter troll

I was literally about to say we have diligently been filling chat w slop 4 Dilara 2 discover and be annoyed about where is she
What slop
two groups have a conversation while metaphorically (literally?) pointing loaded guns at one another
"Is this what they call 'sexual tension'"
Well, they were ready to come on each other.
Luckily one of them didn't do it in the other.
I mean a bolt into the skull
comedy
So dark heresy is up for pre order… later this year? It looks really good
Its basically just rogue trader but Inquisition so automatic peak already
im gonna pre-order at some point
Though fair warning owl cat has a reputation of releasing their games and it having the stability of ork technology
If you can tolerate A buggy mess though they make some good shit
hopefully this one won't be like a release rogue trader
Fear not brother, I played Bethesda games in my youth.
I hope it comes out pretty soon, next few months
Im gonna buy dark heresy after all the dlc is out in 2031
6 years of DLC? Don't mind if I do
I might get it to access the beta/alpha
Dark heresy
i'll literally take release version fallout 3 over any modern buggy triple A game
Its definitely the best one
I mean have you tried playing call of cthulhu? Even the newest edition
Misery
I think dark heresy is the only one that actually codifies roll modifiers lol
the jank nexus/j
Last CoC campaign i was in a guy genned a character with 99 climb (not allowed but ignore that)
The first thing he does is try and climb a wall, roll a 100, and get sent to the hospital
We were in bosnia circa 1912, as a result of the campaign my nephew ||Gavrilo was filled with rage against Austria|| on account of ||the country being run by immortal demon worshippers||
He was a recurring character but i had a different last name (i occasionally mentioned he was my sisters son) and i only ever called him "Little Gav"
I killed guiseppi garabaldi with dynamite

One of my favorite props in the game
it really is a fucking black hole 💀
just the Imperial faction are a headache
let alone xenos
then chaos
Fatalist is kinda a dickhead a little bit
Nothing really its a case by case, model by model basis

I love gardener servitor!!!!
Yeah, I think what we came to agree on that conversation was that it's whatever the creator of the augmentation wants
Or if it's full metal then there'd at least be SOME disconnect
When its 'fully' metal then the machine spirit aspect can also play a role. Though quite a few 'full-metal' cyber mastiffs have organic brains and nerve stems.
And so, can act a lot like normal dogs, when not actively engaged in duty.
Is there any collection of all the room events in the mechanicus game? I’m designing a necron tomb and was hoping I could use those for inspiration for threats and traps and such to put in it
Also please mechanicus 2 release already I beg you
Check steam there’s a guide iirc
Reading it rn, but it’s just descriptions of the rewards, kinda wished I had descriptions of the text for each option
Rip
Is judge dredd actually good or is it one of those cultural irons everyone parodies just because it looks cool
Do you know if anyone has archived all the necron glyphs in the game?
No clue
It’s absurdist grim dark humor
The iconic judge dredd villain
Is judge death
Who is an alternate timeline version of Dredd who’s a zombie
And zombies cannot commit crimes
And judge death has a plan to destroy all crime
Which is to kill everyone
But since he’s undead he can’t commit any crimes
Lmao
It also is very much parodying
With absurdist grim dark humor, i assume like 20% of fans do not get that it’s absurdist grim dark humor
How awful some irl judicial system/laws are
Nah it’s to the point where it’s absurd
Lol
At least from the little I’ve read
Thank fuck lol
Anyways it’s very much a you like it or you don’t thing
I don’t really like it
Like I get why people would though
I might watch it idk, I see a lot of stuff based off it (or blatant clones)
Oh the movie
I thought you were talking about the comics
I watched the film Dredd (2012) a few weeks ago, it was a pretty good popcorn flick
It is very close to the source material.
While Dredd is also brutal, I think the guy is nicer than the Punisher.
He operates within the confine of the law of society and ready to spare people who did their service or redeemed.
Most of his "sparing is like
"1 Year in iso-cube for not rising to help stop the criminal."
That's suicide man
Maybe but at least it's legal
said the fascist cop dredd
Yeah Dredd is fun to read because hes a dipshit cop
his entire inspiration is the brutal police forces of the early 80's UK
also one of the reasons why arbites are fun
Yeah they dont hide who they are
Because sometimes you just want to turn off the body Cam footage
And show that acorn who's boss
hes not so much of a fascist chud in the dredd movie
like part of a super fascist system sure but hes somewhat reasonable which is nice
Anyone remember which imperial planet has a dark, circular void in the sky that appears every few decades (?) and lasts awhile but no one on the planet knows why it occurs?
The Tyrant Star ?
Ah yes, thank you

so the reason why I want to find about the Tyrant Star is because
Do you wish to hear how a blend of sacred Imperial duty and mysterious rising dread sounds? The harsh ruthlessness of the Warhammer 40,000 universe and the eternal threat to Humanity, embodied in flawless music.
We proudly present you Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy Main Theme composed by Paweł Perepelica @weirdsoutherner
Ominous, grim and majes...
the Dark Heresy theme song has something like that in the art
I predict the star will appear in the next WH game from Owlcat
Though does the Tyrant start not travel where ever it want to ?
It does
also im PRETTY sure its been confirmed to be a plot point
its all over the promotional art
Anton ? Sokolov ?
No not Nikolai
I felt physical pain looking at this post
Just like me own dear mum
Unfortunately on my case after interacting with laati a lot i have gotten used to it
Punisher usually kills those whom he deemed as obstacle. It is pure "moral code".
Not really no, Frank aims to never kill innocent people, he doesnt even kill cops standing in his way, he only non-lethally takes them down
Dredd meanwhile again just a fascist cop, he doesnt care about extra casualties.
Dredd does that as well, because the fascist laws in the world dictate so.
Why did he try to kill ||Cpt. America|| again ?
He is the type to say the cloaker line this is just a difficulty tweak and proceed to bomb a block because it's the most cost effective and efficient method civilians be damned just to catch the guy
It's hard to compare the two IMO because their settings are totally different. The Punisher is living in, essentially, our world, while Judge Dredd's world is actually deranged lunatic land.
The point of Dredd is that justice is served to the word. Is it the one of exercising the law at fault, or is it the law of the society.
That doesn't justify the Judge system, but Dredd isn't dealing with normal criminality
Following orders isn't really a defence,
People are literally so bored in the Dredd universe that they become insane
Comics nonsense.
its like how he kills teh entire Marvel Universe
because we need to sell stuff
lol
It is the whole debate point with his nieces and nephews.
Fair
Also that was made by Garth Ennis who IMO is a talentless hack
Hes a talentless sexist racist piece of shit yeah
I hate him and his stupid comics
Is Garth Ennis not the one that also did Crossed and the Boys ?
He's the only popular comic writer I know of that unironically writes out of spite
Yeah lol
Yes, and both of those are actual dog's breakfast, the Boys especially
Ennis be like
"How many slurs can I put in this panel"
It's really hard to make an original work so bad that the film/movie adaptation manages to be objectively better
But Garth managed it
Crossed was 'worse'
Crossed is lierally just
"What if zombies but they sexually assault and rip people apart"
truly genius lol
Dredd case is the arm race between criminal and juristic system turned to 11.
Crossed is like pure 2008 edgelord-maxxing
Well you know what I tried to say
The Boys is literally just spite-writing
"I wrote the Punisher killing Captain America because I hate Captain America."
Bravo, Garth.
Truly a patron of the arts.
His hating of Capt America is so wacky because his reasons are literally nonsensical
He thinks Cpt America is insulting to soldiers and veterans but it was LITERALLY conceived as a character for them in WW2
Lmfao god
"How do we make a comic that'll appeal to the fighting men and women?" And so Cpt America was born
Garth just invented reasons out of the aether to not like him
speaking of
Some of my favorite panels from him
Yes this is how people and women especially talk
: )
lmfao
Isn't Punisher also a veteran ?
And hardly paint them in a fair light
Hes a vietnam vet
Now in these time hes a middle-east vet
mostly so he can actually be around and do stuff in modern times lol
Based
Idk who that is
But still
Garth Enis
Gesundheit
Prison has a bottomless pit of pussy to eat? Bro, sign me u--
The Boys comic writer
Is that that movie by Richard Linklater
Pull out before it is too late
What the fuck Jesus was not a yellow gumball u pagan Jesus was a Northern European white man with a sparkle in his eye
I never pull out
He pushes in
Jesus told me to pull a Gengis Khan and father 2 billion children
Is he considered a hero in Mongolia and Kazakhstan?
Yes they love him
Huh
My PhD advisor was a giant Kazakh it was a wild ride.
Garth Ennis loves Superman?
Toby Longworth voices him in the movie
Homelander is literally a parody of superman!
Yeah which is really funny
He was trying to do the whole "WELL HERES WHAT HE WOULD BE LIKE IF HE WAS REAL" take lol
which is uh yeet
I remember him saying the only comics he liked growing up were oldschool British war comics, which explains his subject matters
Braindead cynicism
Yeah the Boys comics is filled with that
everyone is an asshole or a SA-offender
it gets old fast
He grew up during the Troubles yeah
its also why hes extremely anti-religion and anti-catholic
lmao
I know you can’t really escape ur childhood but
Like u don’t have 2 1:1 react 2 everything
Actually Frank is a now veteran of a fictional, modern war in South East Asia
