I think it's partially due to two things

Sumeru/Fontaine/Natlan have gotten better, but you would struggle to understand why Dvalin is an immediate issue and why Vent is a wind god to start

You can’t exist between two stairs, you can only be on one stair or another. In that way, quantum energy is discrete.

||Now it is said that Celestia cursed the non-native Khaenri’ahns into becoming Hilichurls. But I personally suspect that is not actually the case. Rather, it is Abyssal energy that did so.||
||However, recalling that Nahida was locked up during that 500 years, that meant someone tampered with Irminsul to “retcon” history into thinking it was Celestia that turned non-native Khaenri’ahns into Hilichurls.||
