cool face cybernetic
he doesn't exist
you made him up
If I'm remembering right I think Eats-Many-Asses is a follower mod still on nexus
It was one of the first companion mods i saw back when special edition came out lmao
the game you asked for stinky
Oh
Honestly I thought it would've have a longer name.
Then again REPO exists
So

ILL is an old ass game
Damn this shit looks cool
https://youtu.be/JqsWGPzVbWg?si=TCNqP-2ABL3B09vi this was the first showcase of the game
ILL. This concept trailer demonstrating hardcore gameplay, real-time body mesh damage, an interactive environment, and a lil sneak peek at the story depth (the current setting is subject to change). Rendered real-time in @unrealengine. ILL is not in full development now(working on a demo atm). We are actively looking for investment/publishing. I...

ILL is a realistic first-person action horror game that takes you into a dark fort overtaken by a mysterious entity. A grim story, unpredictable monsters, a visceral dismemberment system, and realistic physics create an atmosphere of relentl...
I Love Lucy
The feeling of assigned penance... it is really something.
R u dumping ur scream of consciousness in chat
Is this some fucking James Joyce novel

Nope... it really is. Whatever, I felt like a 40K character for a moment.
Nothing more
liquor drinkers telling a beer enthusiast how they only need a couple shots instead of 12 beers
hm
although tbf the mere illusion of reason is still enough reason to generally be interested
Past couple of years have me thinking the Martians have the right idea on abominable intelligence
glad that this is being disseminated, but it was pretty commonly understood already in circles following closely
Yeah I feel like itās hard to separate. Should read the paper.
i just mistaken black templars and dark angels by the look in other chat
how bad is this crime
Ten lashes in penance
Is Canada having wildfires again
Hope there aren't any near my friend
I hate choice paralysis
Wildfire is seasonal in Canada. It is a cycle.
Also necessary for the ecosystem, surprisingly
are there any cases of the butcher's nails being removed successfully
Afaik not
Thus making it another potential taboo/Mary Sue thing if someone survived removal...
There are World Eaters that haven't got Nails though
Angron got better after Hawkboi ripped them out. Still not recommended.
Nada. It's why Angron was doomed; the procedure to remove the Nails would have killed him. The Emperor and Malcador did have the know-how to resurrect Primarchs, and it was deliberated in regards to Ferrus, but it would have required time and resources that they didn't have due to the Heresy - which is to say, when the Great Crusade (which itself was running against the clock and had resource constraints) ended, it would have been feasible for the Nails to have been removed and Angron revived hale and whole. But ofc, that opportunity never came
The Emperor literally could have just fixed him with his plot-given magic powers.
He just doesnt because we need Angron to fall to chaos. Its pre-destined lore.
My guy has biomancy powers that allows him to turn into any form he wishes to be on a biological level yet he can't heal some brain damage?
They explain it as "Its DAOT tech + wrapped around his brainstem" and im like so?
He literally has any OP power the authors give him in any appearance

Yeah he has complete biological control of himself because of biomancy why can't he just use it on anything that isn't him
Yeah this is kinda what you get when your setting's magic system has no boundaries.
This is literally one of the powers and it's considered one of the more lighter ones in biomancy
the emperor is doing shit that would put that to shame
Luv me Emprah but he suffers so much from having too many cooks in the kitchen
It should not be so hard to write Space Wizard Conan
its the ultimate fate of not so smart writers trying to write a "genius" level intellect character.
"Religion is bad because people die."
Sherlock Netflix series be like
Real.
Its also the thing of pre-destined plot.
The more they try to explain why some primarchs fell to chaos the funnier it gets
Mortarion's reason is still about as stupid

Tbf isn't that why the door is still open for his redemption?
Otherwise there is also Shape Flesh
Which might make more sense here
Yeah but I was making a point on how this is one of the lighter powers of biomancy
Nope.
You make something as dumb as a chaos primarch being "redeemed" you upset their entire fanbase.
Its okay for villains to be villains.
and he has mastered that discipline to a point that his physical form isn't even an issue anymore
So this guy masters this discipline which is one of the lighter teachings is turning your body into metal can't heal brain damage?
Ya thatās aos shit
I mean no it isnt
even in AOS most of the redeemed chaos people are not that far gone
and they get to have an actually tragic backstory or understandble reason
not uh
Honestly though it would be hilarious to have a trilogy where one of the chaos primarchs does get redeemed and then promptly falls again
"my dad stole my kill"
And they are well written
Yeah that too.
= Josh Reynolds wrote them lmao
Not really
theres other authors that cover this subject
both in books/short stories

False
The way Dan Abnett wrote Zygmunt Molotch in Ravenor was probably my favorite when it comes to genius level intellect
The Primarch are collectively worse written than any of the Chaos Warrior turned Stormcast
Tbf theyāre a lot more complicated
Tornus etc. we donāt know that much about
The Primarch ?
Neave black Talon is way more compelling than the primarchs yeah
But the primarchs have to be these volatile god-children
"Complicated" is kinda pushing it
they are about as deep as the authors writing them
which itself creates uhhh
a lot of discourse
shall we say lol
They are god children and they are fathers and they are brothers
Some writers do well with Dorn and Perturabo
J mean itās a lot
Tornus is like
Some guy who used to be a nice guy and then was not and now heās nice again
"I hate my dad because I got evil visions"
"I hate my dad because I hate myself"
JUST
GUH-
Again curse of pre-destined lore
its like how if Angron was properly rescued by Big E he'd still go traitor because he hates tyrants, no way out of it
Kylo Ren type shit
Real.
Konrad is slightly more complicated than that
He lies to himself that the future is set in stone in order to cope with his sadistic, psychopathic tendencies; "I'm not doing this because I want to, I'm doing it because I have to." He further pretends that he has no agency by acting like it was what the Emperor designed him for
Essentially, he's just insane, and I love it when Sevatar calls him out on it
I can't laugh at this, where's the amogus?
Yeah but like thats not really much either, I say this as someone that read his books. Hes just a coping piece of shit that lies to himself lol
"Let me flay this woman who tried to kill herself"
Very Shakespearean

SUSTHETIC KALKITE
his planet shows that things like law and justice where fucked up long before the imperium's decline
He was born in the wrong timeline
šŗšø
New handcanon:
The two lost primarchs/legions were women, and the Emperor removed them from record/retcon'd them as brothers because he REALLY hated all the mommy memes
Lol
I think the lost Primarche grew native to the point of siding with their populace against Emps, with possible involvement of xeno/warp things involved
Or at least, ONE of the earlier redacted Primarchs (iirc the 3rd to be found is, ironically, one of the redacted ones)
First was Horus, second was Russ
I think.
All we know is that one of the brothers was trusted with knowledge of the Warp and he fell
And that he was apparently the brother most prepared to deal with the knowledge
is this from Penitent
because there its another person concluding this saying it "HAD" to be the reason, which is about as loose as the rest of the evidences we have.
I think The Lost and the Damned? Can't recall
Tried to find the excerpt since I saw it only a few days ago, but turned up nada
It was revealed to me in a dream
Based
Impossible
As the perfect man
The Emperor could only love mommy memes
Seeing as there were statues made (and then removed) on Terra
I do think that both had joined the Imperium before leaving
What if it's both because he hated mommy memes, and our primarch mommies were the ones given the super power fragment of knowing about the warp
And some of the other Primarch did meet them iirc
"I should give one of my superpowers to each of my primarches. I will give me power of spreadsheets to this one"

Itās because He gave them free will and they chose to main Tau
Then He did what he must
What the hell is the G-man's superpower?
Like every primarch got a cool trait except G-man. He just has undying pragmatism or some shit
There's that one thing where he just has an aura which makes people like him, but other primarchs had that too
He has the last remaining copy of Microsoft Excel
He is the super politician
Logistics
Thatās funny because he seems like one of the most obvious to me in terms of aspects of the emperor
He is literally the Emperor
The good king
Heās got super multitasking and like tactics or some shit
Horus is the conqueror king
Oh G-man is honestly one of the best primarchs because he's just the get shit done primarch
He's just not flashy
Yeah Guilliman to me is kind of the most important part of big E
Heās E and Malcador wrapped into one.
Every primarch is to some extent a leader of men
But none has those imperial qualities s
So much as G
G-man's super power is being the OG
In his sensitivity to human nature he may dare I say it actually be a better emperor than The Emperor
Despite his lack of the Leto ii thing
In this way heās one of the clearest cases of a primarchās surpassing his father
I mean
he literally tells the Emperor he isnt his true father
so yeah lol
The entire reason hes even helping the Imperium is because theres no alternative, he admitted he'd rather go live out his life on a farmstead somewhere
The Emperorās great weakness is the Dr. Manhattan thing
Guilliman and Sanguinius most directly compensate for that
his great weakness is bad writing
The Emperor lived through millennia of observing how humanity almost rendered itself extinct, then put into motion the means to guarantee the survival of the human species; by contrast, after fighting for that vision and observing how humanity ended up after surviving for so long, he noticed the abject need to assure the survival of the human soul
IMO, the Emperor was the right man for the responsibility he had, and Guilliman is the right man for the responsibility he now has
also being stupid
The problem is the way he "guranteed" said survival ended up dooming the entire species as awhole.
I also agree w this
It wouldnāt be as poignant a tragedy if everything were wrongheaded from the beginning
The great tragedy of 40K is that His impossible plan almost worked.
The great tragedy of 40k is how far humanity has fallen since its inception.
and Mr Space Hitler making it worse by going "im right because big wizards"
Such is the fruit of being betrayed and the plan going out the window; had his sons not been scattered, and Chaos not taken root in the Word Bearers, I truly believe it would have succeeded
I am so glad we have an enduring spigot of bad takes
Im a space marine fanboy at heart but the amount of loops people go to to defend the Emperor's plan is kinda offputting after awhile.
Sometimes I want em just like an IPA or something
*Such is the fate of the hubris of a man who thought he knew everything
kek
Its definitely more deep than defending a literal genocidal jihadist supremacist tbh
Emperor stans dont usually end up helping themselves and paint him as way more of a tragic figure than he actually is
There was absolutely way better ways to establish the Imperium, he just didnt do it because he was "short on time"
There was but we need the Dune parallels
Sorry of paste on Paul / Leto Atreides assuming theyāre going for a golden path type deal.
the lack of worms is a huge loss
also I will say again
Valdor was fucking right
there was no need for primarchs
but alas we needed more toy sales
How can u say u lack worms when u have me š”
The glazing will continue until morale improves. Luv me King of Ages, luv me Master of the Lines, luv me Golden King, luv me Neoth, luv me Space Wizard Conan
Hes busy with a sword shoved up his ass atm š
Its not that hard to convince people to follow awful leaders so I wouldnt worry that much about it.
they only realise their mistake later when it involves their life on the line too lol

Pretty much.
All is fair in gold and enlightenment until you are the one being sent to a penal camp
Most nuanced Chaos books:
We need someone to villainize more to take off from the fact that the main characters are also genocidal nutjobs.

LOL
yup
Me reading any black templar book
Good job brother Sigidodos, now this planet's population that we just liberated can go back to slaving in their factories once more

Ah yes the main characters that would lynch you for being slightly taller than average and send you the concentration camps truly the paragons of morality
In reality the emperor is meant to be an ambiguous character. Weāre meant to wonder whether his way is the only narrow path to the speciesā survival
Weāre meant to wonder whether itās worth the price
In what it makes us
Yeah the problem is we gotta write novels
It would be boring otherwise
Its better to keep him ambigious instead of also exploring his "character", since he isnt a character, hes a plot tool.
Yes
its canon
so

I do like people who do try to explain why the Emperor is so dumb in that book by saying hes uhhh putting on an "act" or something, idfk
actually guys Batman didnt die, he just contingency'd his death using prep time
š£ļø š§
same tier writing i swear
F
š©
I didn't like McNeill's justification either
To paraphrase, "Emperor used dumb arguments because the priest also had no theological education"
Same line of logic as "I was just pretending to be stupid"
Yeah
I will say that I think McNeill has produced some lovely work and has really fleshed out both settings
And the overall premise of the last church is great as is a lot of its imagery
its worth it alone for the Emperor just going mask-off with the "I know I'm right."
Iām glad he wrote it. The theology was lame.
The Emperor is up there with Batman and Darth Vader as one of the most fucking overwanked characters I hate.
tho I definitely hate the latter 2 more but thats its own can of worms

Now I'm interested on why you hate batman more than Emperor
As a metaphor
He'll make the Imperium great again š
His fans.
Batman can literally solo 40k given the right writer
thats how broken he is
Prep time McGee?
lmao
When heās actually in a scene as an ambulatory being heās boring af
Alfred, activate the iron throne protocol
After the activation it just supercharges Superman to deal with chaos for him
"Um akshually I got a transdimensional-cobulator-mixing-neutronus-quantum-engine that can delete your entire universe. I made this in a cave in a week with a box of scraps."
least deranged batman plot
Wasn't expecting D/C fans to somehow be worse than 40k fans in your eyes tbh
Nah not fans
like in general i mean
batman fans are their own sub-species

40k fans are way fucking worse
Gotcha gotcha
I donāt even like that we see Guilliman talk to⦠whatever it is thatās in that room
I want it to be ambiguous whether heās just dead
Ok yes it is well done
You are right
ı get the point tho lol
Dude his alternate personality made a robot that can dog the Justice League and beat him
what the fuck
It by the way is extremely similar to the scene from Inquisitor
oh my god I hate comics
I wouldnt be surprised if it was a homage
its like almost exact lol
even if Ian Watson is a GOONER
Which I read as a wee lad soon after it came out lmao
He's still weak to Trojans
I hope you enjoyed vivid descriptions of scat rituals and uhhh buildings in a slaanesh world fucking each other
Ye ah I was gonna say I got a vague feeling I maybe shouldnāt be reading this
I think the books are very much worth a read from a historical perspective
because they are like weird but not terrible, just bizarre
š
I mean gooner
I mean goner

That was my 40K origin
Never goon
My absolute favorite desc of the emperor by far by far is that he from watchers
So good
āThen the image split in two, and the doors swung inwards. I saw what lay beyond ā ranks of pillars, marching into a mist-thick distance. I saw the energy feeders, each one the size of a Titan, hanging from the stalactites of the unseen roof. I saw the power lines, ribbed and massive, coiled across every surface like engorged serpents. The air was golden, thick as milk, spilling out of the doorway like a tarnished sunrise.
Through the haze, the swimming motes of power, I laid eyes on the nexus itself. It was hard to gauge size in there ā everything shook in a heat-tremor of psychic intensity. I saw impossibly old panels, fluted like organ pipes, rising up and up through the mist, webbed with patina and repeatedly repaired. I saw arcs of lightning snap and twist, and blood-cyclers wheezing, and smelt a pervasive stench as sweet as rotting meat.
And somewhere in the heart of that titanic construction, somewhere in the midst of the stacked terraces and the baroque platforms and the gantries and the forests of cabling, lost like a pearl in the heart of some obscene mechanical clamshell, I glimpsed just a slip of flesh, a shred of hairless grey, perhaps a scalp, perhaps the fragment of a face, buried under it all, slaved to it, dominating it, dominating everything.ā
So good.
Such a cute kitty
She just ran up to me for pats lol
The kitty must punch you.
NOOOOO
Watchers has some GREAT descriptions of terra in general
I wish Dilara was cool. If only Batman had more prep time
Bold assumption that I ever claimed I was cool. No 40k fan is š
the new legally distinct FTL game is really good
the one that's also legally distinct 40k
iirc, didn't Batman have to go more crazy to nearly beat him?

i recommend it dudes
Batman is autistic.
Lmao that game is more 40K than 40K
Found it:
I approve this cat
As you should
I didnt think so at first
but then I saw shit like this
this is like, 100% AI with a pixel "filter" thrown over it
this is also just a straight up 40k copy-paste
the gun makes no sense (even more than usual 40k stuff), the powerpack is just a straight up 40k one, you can tell this was put in a prompt-generator

ah damn
If the artist can do it live, then I would give it to them.
The "art" typers are all over the place with bullshit excuses.
Yeah same.
Maybe im wrong but we'll see, I had some more professional studio artist friends of mine take a look at it and frown so can only wait lol
they did like an entire Columbo breakdown of it
Well ingame is ingame, you cant really AI art that stuff
the "illustrations" on the other hand

Huh, the new Killteam box has 10 Hormagaunts in it aswell as the two new killteams.
the Hormagaunts must be for the spawning mechanic
Random recommendation and Iām not a comic book person but the original Dark Horse Aliens trilogy, where the protagonists are Newt and Hicks as intended (not the awkward edited versions where theyāre ābillieā and āwilksā) is amazing esp the second one. Art is fantastic.
But also tell me this dude isnāt 40k af
There is an attempt.
He threatens the queen and keeps her confined ā basically she has a gun to her and her childrensā heads and is forced to comply
⦠this of course ends well without any issues
At the end everyone hugs and kisses and commits to an equitable, inclusive, 0 net carbon joint society
Reminds me of that one where the xenomorphs kept a dude alive and he eventually got them to see him as one of them or something like that
Was really interesting but not sure how true to typical lore that is
Oh yeah thatās another early one I think but not this early.
Speaking of not typical lore
I believe thatās Aliens Labyrinth
How often is it that traitors get to redeem themselves in 40k?
Very often
I know by the time someone gets mutated it's pretty much too late
By accepting a lasround through the chest
I donāt think there have been any cases of redeemed traitors lmao
There are loyalist members of traitor legions
That was actually the main thing I wondered about
And ||Loken at the end of End and the Death makes Abaddon consider for a moment turning things around||
Every single time a traitor legion is mentioned casually it's always like "Well the primarch got corrupted and his entire legion instantly agreed to give their souls up for damnation, no biggie"
Like what
The 30k novels make it pretty clear thatās not the case
I don't know either of those duders but I like when it's actually a thinker
Like ||Eisenhorn's case||
Each traitor legion had to perform a purge.
He teeters REAL close
That makes sense
Oh Eisenhorn is just on a one-way road to hell
I almost would've liked to see one where the loyalists win
In "traitor legions" at least
dark angels
Literally their story
And eternal shame
Oh wait yeah so
The Lion I guess is redeeming some Fallen but theyāre not that chaosy
It's definitely looking like it, especially since ||multiple times the book mentions both him and I think Ravenor saying how it's only a matter of time before every inquisitor turns to chaos, it's just how much they contribute to good before they fall that matters||
HOWEVER
His willpower has been glazed so fucking much
It's kinda hard to say he won't kick the bucket before he succumbs
Yeah =(. Annett is not gonna pull any punches I think
I don't know what you're talking about. You don't know, either.

Weāre gonna lose Gregor one way or another.
Am⦠am I dead now

š„
Tbf the traitors were the minority
So excited to read the Ravenor omnibus but it's not printed anyfuckingwhere
I have to preorder from Barnes and Noble for July 15th or something
well it wouldn't be the first time i'm disappointed by indie games using AI for their store page
Gonna look around downtown some more today
Orrr I could read digital but that's stinky
maybe they'll actually hire an artist for the store page art

Jokes aside its literally 1(?) I think person working on it right now
I still think its bad
Also also. The sentiment of treachery only being redeemable in death is generally true, though it can happen two ways: 1, the obvious lasgun to the chest, and 2, self-sacrifice. Obviously it's circumstantial but, generally, if a traitor has a change of heart, he's still going to be surrounded by other traitors. For example, the Thousand Sons sorcerer who helped Rylanor detonate the virus bomb
Had I not known that I was dead already
why's he smiling?
I canāt remember I think maybe he pops some happy pills or ā no maybe something like he plugs into some vr thing to see his dead wife or some wrenching thing like that
When he knows the aliens are coming to kill Jim
Him
Itās Aliens Hive
I havenāt read it in years and years
But some of these dark horse alien comics are extremely good sci fi
was about to say like, he's in the most agonizing fate you could ever experience if you existed in the Aliens universe.
but yeah, Dark Horse has made some quality aliens comics
Hive is a particularly meditative one.
The comics are way better than the later movies and stuff I think.
Many of them
The writers are really talented.
i think the only comic i remember the most on was Aliens Labyrinth
with that doctor character
Theyāre the only comics other than like Calvin and Hobbes and I guess idk Maus and Watchmen that I really like. Oh Sandman
⦠rip Neil Gaiman wtf m8
Yeah Labyrinth was peak form
I like that the second thing can happen, albeit briefly, even in hideously corrupted individuals
It's really cool that followers of Nurgle can briefly break out of their hallucinations, feel and experience everything about their decision, and then fall back under the trance
Cool body horror or something
Eisenorquin are tough to read because you just want more more more
I never want them to be over
Gauntās Ghosts fantastic too.
But those keep on truckin
Going to wake up in the night with them in your guts with a scalpel
No

I donāt joke
LMAO
Yeah and her romance is great
Finally, THE MECHADANDRITES CAN GO UP MY A--
Thatās like
AGAIN.
Not even the most wild thing
Theyād have for that
Seeing as Owlcat seems to like the psycho tech priest archetype lol
reminder
you can date a literal psycho serial killer in Pathfinder
and encourage her behavior
Yeah
so like, yeah Elite is right lmao
And sheās fucking great
Lol
Funniest character ever
Even on a good playthrough
I LOVE how generic/boring she acts before you catch her
its actually so fucked up but funny
āI can fix herā
āNo you canātā
Being like 90% of the dialogue
^
With your party
Is so fucking funny
Your character is so convinced
If youāre good morality wise
That you can make her better
LOL
Iād never actually romance her
I was a Galfrey Devoted
But the dialogue is
Killed Camilla on the spot
So wait, GW is okay with the Mechanicus being romancible but not the SoB?
Justify it LOL
GW are grognards.
also we got canon examples of techpriests having sexual feelings/dating/marrying
Sisters less so
Welp, we may as well go the extra step: make the Ogryn romancible
outright came out and said GW stepped in
otherwise she was gonna put a sister/sister romance in a novel
lmao
GW are scared
Its so weird
Its just grognardism
because like
the studio legit has some sexist/chud people in it
Tech priests are human in spite of trying to become inhuman
Lol
Is another reason why admech love comes up
Surprisingly often
Yeah that too
Cawl felt platonic love for his master before he fucking killed her lol
Cawl loves Qvo platonically(maybe)
Or maybe itās something more lol
There's also that one Caiaphas Cain incident
Ciaphas Cain is very loose
the author that wrote it doesnt even generally consider it that lore compliant
yeah that lmao
Thereās a lot of parental love stuff as well with tech priests
Which is also fun
Anyways the mechanicus has love brought up a surprising amount
Which is funny
We need the 6 hour sex scene NOW
They arent entirely emotionless
The way they see love is a little different from the more normal human.
"Do you know how expensive a second Space Marine is?" -The Rogue Trader, on the lack of a Pilot

Arbites Deluxe edition
||That dog is just a brain and torso||
Are you fucking serious
Deluxe edition of a dlc for a game that already has an "edition"
base DLC is 12 bucks so I really don't care
You think that Arbites has to make sure he doesn't bump his icon off in the hive tunnels?
Yeah
what kind of dlc has a deluxe edition
Idk what that revolver is but I love it
A few
Itās a shotgun

I do like how of all the faction to get bodycams
its the Scions lol
and its to review that they ARE brutal in combat/not backing off
Admech also have body cams

Lol
yeah but every single scion has a bodycam
Though I suppose itās eyes
Tbf it is a targeter as well
Does someone have the arbite turns bodycam off meme
Bro
That maul to shotpistol swap
But what does it meeeeaaan. I gotta knoooow.
The thing is uh
Is it a shield and maul in one slot and a shield and pistol in the other?
I know, I'm being idly speculative
I think its just a unique swap anim for 2 shield weapons

Seems like this is why they have to change the shotgun name from Lawbringer to something else, because now we get actual lawbringer shotgun.
There will be a longer gameplay video and explanation of the Arbites loadout in the coming weeks, so answers could be found there. Obese fish trying to build up hype.

Yes
??? what

They already changed it's name almost a year ago
Its the zarona combat shotgun
The name changes also hit like a bazillion different things
And likely were done before arbites was even a thing they were planning
š
Well shit
Maybe itās time to fire up the ol dorktide again
Gotta push X to doubt that, fren
There's so much work involved in developing and voicing a full-on class that the Arbites simply had to have been in production for at least a year

Too bad one subject won't get you into any university

Tbf those mfs usually also have good grades
Since, at least here in Cali, you need most of your grades to be good to actually qualify for sports scholarships.
Nah, I won't, you need a very good score in total, they don't care if you ace one subject

He endorses the use of daemon hosts for getting info and has had excrutiation done under his order
Oh also heās the current head of the imperium
So yknow
Tbh I do think you could blame him for the imperiums bull crap if I tossed you in a room with zealous suicidal maniacs and told you your dad is dead
You would tweak out
yup
Rather then the stuff vaguely under his command
But heās a horrible person
By any standard
He once accidentally broke a pen while angry and had to get another one
Also huh whatās that?
Pay Taxes - President Kimball of the NCR
No I mean the daemon hosts
Oh
Itās a daemon
Shoved into a Psyker
This basically tortures the Psyker
Guilliman had some daemonhoats made so he could interrogate the daemons
Hmmm did he use free range psykers or pastor raged?
Didn't this happen only once
And with a captured Daemonhost, at that
Not one he had made
I know sometimes psykers canonically volunteer or be raised to do some dome imperium crap
So like jokes aside where the psykers forced or just volunteered as tribute practically?
Lmao no, always forced.
It happened again
Psykers are the next evolutionary step of humanity but they are considered "dangerous freaks" due to being prone to possession.
In the core rulebook lore this edition
LMAO
Okay thats funny
Fast
So his solution was āI donāt fucking care how you do itā
So the solution his underlings came up was
Summon a lord of change into a fucking Psyker

A WHAT
It did work

Yeah they shoved a lord of change into a Psyker
And the Psyker fucking blew up
But yknow
He did get that info
Yet another guilliman W
We take those
Imagine randomly minding your own business and some blue armoured blonde guy shoves a Eldritch entity in your body
Tbf
KEK
From an inqusitorial stronghold
okay that makes it even funnier, it wasnt even a "My lord, ill undertake this sacrifice"
Anyways the Psyker was slated for execution anyways so Iād assume the logic was āletās kill 2 birds with one stoneā
Ok you canāt blue Gulliman on this one use I just sounds like his underlings where just tweaking
From the people he asked that for
"Alright bro, listen up, we need info fast. Come with us, we're going to shove a Greater Daemon into your head."
"What"
Tbh if you say āI donāt care how you do itā
Tbh guilliman aside
That is on you
I HATE the concept of using daemonhosts
Iām paraphrasing
But he did say ādo it as fast as possible without causing horrific damageā
Tbh in terms of backfiring it only blew up
Cultists aren't known for being well educated
Lol
I know it fits. I meant more why would you ever do this, are you dumb (the answer is yes)
Im talking about imperials
cultists already know they are damned
lmao
Oh
The imperium is not known for making good decisions always
they dont give a fuck
Lol
Ok but what about gman
I mean rowon garbanzobean
Someone isn't going to understand this joke one day and I will be very sad
Ok so worst thing bro did was xenocide
Xenocide.
He killed a bunch of humans as well lol
But yes xenocide and genocide
Same difference
Acceptable casualties
Guilliman had a good compliance rate
Because if they didnāt surrender at the start
Heād just liquidate the worlds population
Lol
Xenophobia applies to humans too if we want ot use the term correctly
Guilliman a whole thing was efficiency
so checks out
yay girly man is like the most ethical primarch(only committed genocide on multiple races)
During the great crusade
He gave you a chance to surrender, if you took it you lived
Anyone who didnāt take it was killed
Lol
You didnāt get a second chance
Also even if you surrender
Which is funny cause he is know the imperiums HR department
enjoy your planet being turned into an industrial shitpit
@celest willow they all did and to be fair xenos had been torturing humans worlds because they were isolated
Planet bowling ball
and getting choked of resources over centuries or decades
Not all the xenos
^
Like
The imperium killed more peaceful xenos
Then hostile ones
Explicitly
Lol
There was about as many peaceful alien/human civilizations yeah
If we count all the peaceful civilizations the imperium wiped out
Including humans
Itās more peaceful then hostile
A lot of humans didnāt want to live under the imperium
So the imperium crushed them to dust
Its a play on the "they stabbed us in the back" WW2 thing
I forgot which HH book it was, i think one of the first 3 where we see a POV narration of some void trooper
I do like how Bligh has in black book 1 the whole thing on how
Cut to Vulcan lighting a eldara child on fire
Yeah because Bligh is based
after he passed the quality kinda dipped lol
Some xenos were allowed to somewhat join the imperium
we got 1 single example, who got harvested to death
for uh, something in their body helping people not age as fast
Tbh that was illegal, but they were def going to be harvested regardless
And yeah it was for rejuve
Yeah pretty much
Someone how the supremacists are like the most peaceful faction in war hammer aka the elder
The eldar are not peaceful
Lol
most peaceful
TFW you realise we will need an Arbites channel chat added
Craftworld Eldar dont attack unless they got no other choice
Me when military junta
Never said peaceful
My favorite part is
even Biel'tan
send a warning first to a planet to leave
BEFORE they attack
lmao
No other choice aka they predict your planet might one day endanger them
Planet, person, a group, it depends.
like, they are looking out for their own
XD
because humans are space nazis
lmao
I dont really get why people get surprised they do what they do lol
Hans, are we the baddies?
Everyone is bad
No weāre based/j
Definitely
just pick the drippiest faction
Eldar just got more reason to do what they do
Lol
compared to uh
Even tau are evil
"I need your planet's population as slaves"
Fuck even the leagues of votaan are evil
ZE MASTER RACE SHALL REIGN SUPREME
pick if this is tau or imperium
I hate they wrote the tau to just be bad
Yeah but dwarves are based
I mean
so they get a pass
They should have made the tau the only good guys
The tau have always been evil
Nah its better this way
Rock and stone sister
they get to shoot people in the face
I do love how they just harvest planets while people are still on them
its peak
The tau are imperialistic militaristic racial supremacists
And think theyāre ācivilizingā people
Them trying to harvest a Blackstone fortress brings me life
The tau are also communist am pretty sure
They are not commies
they are not communist
thats a meme of internet dipshits
Tau are a classist feudalist monarcy
Post scarcity society
Feudalist oligarchy is more accurate imo
Yeah
authoritarian
You right
aka just china
Well authoritism is a big spectrum of things so it's easier to narrow it
The tau are more of an oligarchic authoritarian society due to the ethereal caste
Which is even further stratified
Even at the top youāve got fucking ranks lol
The council behind the ethereal supreme is arguably stronger then the ethereal supreme themselves
Is the irony
Maybe the enclaves are better but there like an exiled military
Itās Shas Oābama
Heās a fire blade or some other fire caste member
He drone striked gullimans wedding
Fr?
At least get the tau name affixes right

On the surface
Communism with Chinese characteristics is as communist as the United States
Which is to say not really
