None of the new Lore contradicts the existing defition of the Adeptus Arbites.
Which none of your excerpts have managed to refute either, you're just reducing it to that single aspect of their responsibility.
Arbites meanwhile are entirely brainwashed
well mostly by propaganda than literally but ye lol
also are like absolute psychos
FYI hes talking to a corpse
Where does the name Illisi of the cleave force-sword name come from?
oh wow
okay i didnt know this either

that is actually pretty cool
Ah so a similar origin as Traxis
people talk about being afraid of inquisitors, arbites are practically empowered to be just as scary, and there's a shitload more of them
if i were an enforcer captain and i heard an arbite was coming to my precinct, i'd have a heart attack
Yeah their entire joke is they are IRL police brutality turned up to 11
also stems from the ripple of Judge Dredd which itself was a parody of the awful UK police of the 80-90's lol
well also like how their brutality doesn't even end at citizens
just about ANYONE is liable to get turned into shotgun jelly if the arbites charges you with a crime
On cue
imagine being an enforcer but the arbites just shoots you in the face because he discovered you were corrupt
Yeah unless they got orders to take you alive.
Either way you are basically fucked so lol
sucks to suck i guess

well they have A LOT of discretion in what they do, don't they?
a bit like judges from judge dredd in that regard
they're the judge, jury, and executioner all at once
Yeah that is still a thing.
you never know what they're gonna do. that's terrifying
they are basically evangelist-cops with shotguns
its why id really recommend reading this rulebook, it updates a lot of older lore to the modern times
Depending on the rank of the Arbites it will probably be at their own digression.
The whole point of an Arbites is to make swift and independent decisions and deal apropriate punishment on the spot.
i could imagine SOME exceptions existing like the investigation/arrest of the politically powerful
taking down the planetary governor if done wrong could start a civil war
but generally its like arbites getting able to do whatever they want when they're in the field
well, "whatever the lex imperialis says" is how they'd defend it
Arbites are the law.
Thats the whole point of having Arbites around. They arbitrate legal questions. There is no need to defend their actions because punishing criminals is their entire purpose.
If an Arbites killed you the case is closed. Noones gonna question the legality.
I had one story I finished yesterday where me and my pal's OC are on the run to get their Warrant of Trade legitimized since it turns out since hes a washed out ex-navy breacher (and thus somewhat from a nobleline) can get it.
The issue was we accidentally killed an Administratum Magistrate which were hunting us across the entire story. We only get them off our asses when a Ordo Famulous agent they were paired up with "rescues" them by proving their innocence and that the Magistrate was corrupt
(they still broke our legs/noses and threw us in a cell before they found the truth of it though lol)
I AM THE LAWN
On cue
Anyways, I'm re-reading the eisenhorn books now that I'm older and wiser, and goddamn. They're good.
It's so great how much of a hypocrite eisenhorn is.
Wait this isn't book chat
Who cares
Anyways
Good books
It's also really interesting to me how quixos was probably correct.
He could be but alas the Inquisition has the cooler drip so I must agree with the warcrimes Eisen does instead.
starting my journey on horus heresy, im gonna be 40 by time i finish this
Oh yeah speaking of Dilara Im curious does the book have any bits mentioning what arbites do regarding low level crimes like you said?

YES thats perfect, i need this for something so yoinking that
this is form Soulshackle too right?
Lmao yea
🫡
Do not read every single book

im ngl i start losing count on how many book for wh30k
Over 60+
you can uhhh hold on
The Horus Heresy is a series of novels, anthologies and audiobooks based on the historic events known as the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy, about 10,000 standard years before the present 41st millennium. The novels are written by different authors, but follow the same storyline - the fall of Warmaster Horus and his campaign of treachery to ...
Heres all of them
the idea that the Arbites know that a coup's going to happen beforehand but won't do anything is so funny to me
its one of my FAVORITE bits from the rulebook its so fucking funny
imagine being the Governor and the Arbites just don't tell you that your own Planetary Guard are going to break into your house and kill you tonight
I DO appreciate how the writers at least acknowledge as long as the civil war/uprising doesnt damage the planet too much and is just to replace a ruler
it makes a lot of sense
all my lore knowledge come from adeptus ridicilous and tts :)))))))) i might to actually get a real source
so it isnt just them being lazy, its them sitting out and observing
Get the real lore, it will make you superior

Lexicanum is a great place to start because it cites its sources
^
yeah reading the fandom wiki
So you can tell what's old, what's made the fuck up, and what's word-for-word
WE LOVE THE FANDOM PAGE
The fact that you reading anything from the official sources already makes you smarter than most of the fanbase
(this isnt even sarcasm 💀 )
A coup against a ruler is not necessarily against imperial law.
it's not, but it's still a funny thought that they'd screw you over out of sheer disinterest
^
They allow it because it doesnt affect the way the planet is run and might even make it be run better if the new ruler is gooderer than the last one.
the entire imperium is just clan mors when you think about it
Imperium being Skaven, not Empire, is my favorite Ultimate Truth
there's even a big chair reserved just for the absent god-ruler
What kind of rat?
Any kind.
Inclusive I see
Oh wow another ultramarine
Yaaay...
I was going to say it’s chapter indeterminate then noticed the laurels
You mean vannys?
Laurals aren't UM only
Yanny
or whatever they're called
I said ultramarine cuz ultramarine logo smh
Actually is that even Primaris
It looks like new scale non Primaris with that chest armor and the cables below it
Yes
Hes primaris
you can tell bcs of the leg flares
Leg what
Where we the flares
The tubing bits under the breastplate look like old firstborn armor
Just looks a bit out of place
GW wants you to think it isn't a primaris frfr
So you don't look twice but the real chads will buy Warhammer+, get it, and kick your ass fr
That and the old giant mouth vent
Yeah
Primaris helmets have 6 diagonal slits on a plate instead of a giant A shaped grill
oh boy a dynamically posed Space Marine character. We've got a real drought of those!
its normal MK7 helmet
A return to tradition, very good
Delay all other factions until every marine model is revamped in this fashion
Cuz there ain't enough marines!
The helmet and the abdomen are mk7. The rest is Mk10T.
The lower body looks more like Mk10 gravis.
It is a mix of so many things.
Morning chaps
And chapettes
And variations thereupon
…the Mastiff will be invulnerable
Nice. No micro managing…
Yeah
Glad we can choose to not have it too
Hope the buffs are great to make up for it
Being a Ping keystone Vet I might get some mileage out of it, but we will see
But I agree having the option to remove dog is a good thing
Gigachad Rubicon Firstborn
Mark VII helmet, Mark VII-style stomach cabling
Absolutely love to see it
Man I hope they elaborate on what is up with KB
That implant and "accident" mentioned are just too interesting to not be curious
Might be the first time I seen a droid human hybrid in star wars
Well there was lobot but that was just some background guy
Her name too, what kinda name is "KB"
Wookiepedia says her parents' names are Garree and Maree, so KB might just be a punky shortening of Kabee
Makes sense
But the girl that's pretty much half droid being called KB, like a droid prefix, does seem like it could have a deeper meaning
Or that's why it is her nickname, which is kinda fucked up
Omg it is skeleton from skeleton crew
They killed Genestealer cults entire gimmick because it was too complicated people complained online
And gave it to tyranids
They killed GSC army rule and made them a fucking melee army and gave the army rule to tryanids

GW just hates GSC’s
More attracted by new 40k rules, reading the above.
I share your sadness about GSC rules change though.
They may as well take gsc at the back of the shed and shoot them in the head
And of course Imperial Agents get a fat nothing
To be fair the last time they got a new regiment it’s the worst one in the game
GW really be shitting on any human factions that isn’t Guard.
Chaos Cults, GSC, Imperial Agents…
(And never mind the Gue’vesa who now only exist in Lore or self made conversions stand in)
If it’s not wearing power armor it gets bad content
I mean, GW got slightly better now, Sisters/Guard are finally being fed every now and then. Custodes are always gonna be OP, so are Knigths.
They have marginally improved to “If it’s not Imperium aligned it gets bad content. Except Agents, because they are the Imperial stepchildren that gets mistreated.”
Even Ad Mech is getting their list fixed.
GSC aren't human, ackshually 🤓
Dang my Nitro ran out
Ok yes lorewise fully correct there
Would anyone want a kill team made up of Crusaders?
I mean, it would give a lot of Crusader miniatures
That would be nice
But like it would kinda be redundant to the
Imperial agent KT
Honestly, I'm just thinking of Crusader minatures, but some come with different weapons, like the melta bomb shield or something.
I think the Sisters of Battle got Sacristans for the purpose of replacing them…
Yeah, I can't seem them making a Crusaders killteam because of the imperial agents or that recent one that fought goremongers.
If they do reintroduce them, expect them to get a Gothic rename
Because Crusaders is too generic a word to be copyrighted.
Crusadius
How to turn a star wars ship into a microfighter
Hmmm
It could be fun
But those have some stupid specialized pieces
Tbh, I don't really see what else they could do for the Imperium as Kill Team.
Admech got one not so long ago, but maybe one set around Electro Priest could be nice
Maybe Ogryn team
Bone'ead Squad
Reject are already there with Inquisitorial Agent
Not sure if there is a Psyker in it though
Another I could actually see would be Astra Telepathica
Could feature more varied weapons style
Here's a thought: What about Killteam based on the various houses that help the imperium? Like naviagtor, crusaders or knight houses all in one box or something?
Man (ignore the missing textures)
I love the way modern Marine anatomy just makes sense; the exposed neckseal puts the neck muscles into perspective, which puts the shoulders into perspective, then finally where the arms connect
All normal, albeit upsized, human proportions, with a strategic layering of plates that conveys the sense of inhuman bulk without overly limiting the range of motion
It's all so logical and I adore it
Knight would be difficult to really make work tbh
Those pauldrons are still hilarious
Those puny things?
That is true. Maybe some Knight house milita or admech?
y them have no neck
Don't need a neck if you have enough pauldron
not really, there's not a human scale melee focused team
The goremongers are not human scale
due to their fucking stats lol
GW?
they released the slate a few hours ago
@rose thorn suffering builds character for GSC players
and boy do they suffer a lot
Admech has 2 already
admech doesn't need more KTs yeah
True, but those two were mainly admech. I'm talking just one or two models next to some navigators and crusders?
There's factions missing KTs
that should get them lol
Deathwatch(ironic), Grey Knights, Daemons, Emperors Children
Deathwatch don't have a killteam?
no
here's all the teams rn
Gellar pox I don't count as a team since they're from 2 editions ago and are super jank
Wait, should the orks have two kill teams? The commandos and that one which fight the ratlings?
where are Kommandos?
damn they are so good at stealth they even evaded the faction list
yeah champions of Mork those guys
There is a Rogue Trader KT that has a Crusader and a Tech Priest
That was also the last time Crusader mini got updated
Is considered something of a rarity nowadays.
so if Tau had a bigger presence in the warp you think Tzeentch would get more out of them than he does the humans currently?
or would the strick caste system limit their ambition too much
they dont have many psykers and it's pretty hard to find plots in a society with such strict rules
yeah
still there's always room for chaos to grow
ofc its just Tzeentch gets more out of humans than any other race
See: Khorne and Farsight
yeah
that's not normal tau
doesn't he also really love psyker
yeah but his main sources of power or whatever are hope and ambition
because both things drive change
ofc he feeds off of anything that drives change
so greed is one as well
Psykers in general or Psyker Darktide?
'Cause Seer Psyker Darktide has a shard of the Emperor in his head who actually protected the Seer from entering the realm of Tzeentch at one point
Barely
He's too helpful, knows too much, and again, protected the Seer from Tzeentch
Anyway, yes, Tzeentch does have an affinity for Psykers, not only as elements of change, but as conduits for sorcery
Behold the most generic space marine mini to ever be
He is beautiful in his simplicity and I love him
And he looks better with the helmet on
I could make it with spare parts, absolute waste of a special mini
Of course since tzeentch and pals are sneaky little tricksters for no reason other than having the opportunity this could be a ploy but im on the emperor fragment side
I mainly like how he's such a thorough blend of Firstborn and Primaris aesthetics with the MkVII helmet and stomach and yeah, the red bolter
It’s pretty much a rehash of an old Mini with Powerfist and Boltgun that existed when GW still had lead minis in 3rd edition.
You dont get to be a daemon of tzeentch unless you do a little trolling just because
I can respect GW dialling back the “Blizzardfication” of their own design elements, true.
Blizzardification?
Honestly considering how long the models have been getting iterated on they're amazingly non-goofy overall
The original Primaris art and Style looks like something right out of Blizzard.
??
You know, bright colours, round sci-fi contours
Pretty sure Blizzard's designs were inspired by Warhammer.
the mile high and wide pauldrons atest to that
Designs wise definitely.
But…I don’t know how to word it best.
If you looked at 3rd edition Firstborn art and compare to Primaris art
Primaris art just feels…tonally NOT GW art.
Warcraft was originally supposed to be a Warhammer game. But in the end Blizzard just ripped off the entire setting and called it their own thing.
Almost like there was a 19 year gap in aesthetics?
Less a gap, more like a massive switch
Since the artstyle was consistent up until Primaris era.
They could have done Primaris in the same “gritty” manner so to speak.
Even if they are a newly introduced thing.
I just can't agree with that sentiment tbh
Ok fair enough
They might have dialled back the Primaris changes, or I just had a biased misconception to start with
The artwork of the Crimson Fists making their stand is still my favorite piece related to the Astartes
it's just the different artists mostly, not everyone paints in that gritty style
It's too clean, too sanitized. Here's some box art that actually gets your blood boiling, just some drunk random villager with any weapon they happened to hav on hand.
2nd on the right holding it like a gangster, lmao
well you're posting Karl Kopinski, it's just unfair to compare anyone to him
You probably encountered some of the more "clean" generic artists GW has
it was way worse in the mid-2000's
Anyone? I'd say John Blanche is a serious contender
That explains it
fucking 6th edition codex art, so ass
interestingly enough, Blanche also paints models
Here, one example
One is great, the other? ABSOLUTE DOGSHIT 😔
Mobile game ahh
too vibrant
Ah yes, that is it.
@polar hill I had the misfortune of seeing too many Primaris done like what you see on the right.
Am I googling the wrong 6th edition
This was from the MTG release, no?
Again that is 1 example
also that's the rulebook
GW back then was hiring like all kinds of freelancers
this is a codex from that edition
Yeah but as ever the issue is theres a lot of artists, some better than others 😔
Gotcha, that does look incredibly mobile gamey
I recall this image, and looking back at it, I feel like as soon as this picture were to be animated, all of these marines would crash into each other and die
SPACE MARINES ATTAAAAACK
You can also conceptualise it this way: GW realised their art mistake is so bad, they redacted a lot of freelancer artworks in current publications, which is why current Primaris art actually looks consistent with earlier Marine art.
I do somewhat like those covers but i wouldnt defend them yeah
they are WAY too clean/pristine
theres this one artist i HATE that I need to find hold on
then they continued with this aesthetic all 7th edition
Best artwork is still the slaaenshi marine
Thats in the csm codex
"Oh no man. Please. Dont kill me."
😔
Looks like the marine is also hesitating
"Hey uh, could you move? I dont wanna hit you with this hammer."
Yea this is another backwards art devolution fail.
Even worse is that the epic version is used for the Imperial Agents codex
Which is…anything but epic.
My intro
The spear looks cool
weird photoshopping + art for his works
Was my 12 year old selfs thought
John Sullivan was his name iirc hold on
he walks... in space... so cool...
I can't stop looking at all the little details
How did this get greenlit
Sullivan is weird, some of it is nice like the Grey Knights art above but a lot of it is just a mess
Its better than the other covers for the book

Its like heresy itself
all it takes is 1 to slip through the cracks...
Ngl the paint filter feels off to me
Peak
...man I should get that updated, its so old its crunchy af
Makes more sense when the crunch is caused by shadows
64 bits
like you?
gotta get that 8k ai remake
Old and crunchy was my nickname in the schola
gonna be at the age where you start poppin and locking but its your joints, Dilara
gonna be at the age when you send that gendalf scrolls gif and say "heh thats me)"

Dilara 20 years from now:
I cut the artists some slack, whichever nerd added unnecessary cabling and stupid little jet boots is to blame
why does the heavy bolter no longer have an ammo belt
Portability
Also in that book, peak csm
Still not sure what the breast pump is for
Slaanesh.
stanced up gigachad with ammo to spare to destroy everything vs virgin primaris limited ammo and a tube
So true
Chaos does chaos things, don't worry
Have the primaris had the black rage yet?
yea
Primaris wolfen?
... Why does it have a tube? Is it a cable to integrate it into the armor's targeting system?
external power
Na, Heavy Intercessors cooler
heavy intercessors are very cool but so do be the devastators
Genuinely not sure if primaris can turn wolfen, I don't pay much attention to space wolves these days
If they can't that would improve space wolves by 90%
You may not like this but this is peak performance
The ammo belt is so thin...
the lack of seeing the bolter rounds connected to the heavy bolter saddens me. never did like the box magazine look it has now
Primaris intercessors are fine I just love the ammo belt, the real problem is these stupid cables I hate so very, very much
I'm a bitch for proportion accuracy.
Heh
Heh
Thats a design flaw
Cuz isnt power armor pressurized?
The old Marines ammo belt as weird as fk. It connects to the backpack... but no actual ammo storage on said backpack...
those cables are gonna get caught on something and the Space Marine is just gonna fall face first
Nah, Centurion is way cooler.
They can. Russ gene-seed = Canis Helix
So hear me out
Its a terminator in there
So
We could have
A centurion dreadknight
Same with Blood Angels Primaris and Red Thirst/Black Rage, ofc
that's heavy intercessors
also you can cut them off
don't tell me what to do
But then the suit wont be pressurized cuz holes
Yea, personally I like the leg cables, but if I didn't I could just cut them off
every hole is a goal
I don't know why, it's the one thing that really irks me, but it's also no big deal whatsoever
Cant go in space if have hole
you already have a hole
This is why Phobos armour is the best mk10.
Not in the sealed power armor
Im american not failed empire
I know that someone here will complain about the boot looking shin guard.
There isn't a hole, you just cut the pipe off and sand it smooth
It goes ontop of the powerpack 🤓
Ehhh it’s not that distracting
im north american
Your english is french and your maple syrup is lacking thats all the canadian slander I can do
I though I saw some without that backpack.
Sometimes, I dunno. I just know there's that ammo pack that goes ontop
says the brown sugar water eater
I've warmed up to the primaris, there's still little bits I don't like but then the space wolves also exist so whatever
One of the biggest model changes I fucking despise.
Theres one rule in fiction. The heavy machinegun guy gets the huge backpack.
AND THEY COULDNT EVEN MANAGE THAT
There are so many things that could be that I will be offended
I’m of the Terran Dominion
SC Marine is lovely.
oh wait
Hah, you’re old
The fuck, she is old, so she should be aware of that more than most younglings.

“You want a piece of me, boy?”
Could be that grand mommy here getting dementia.
that Megatron line lives rent free in my head
"No, I'll have two."
rips the man in half

Funny enough, the ammo storage under pauldron comes from StarCraft.
But then for some reason, people associate it to 40K.
starcraft more like stinky
Same thing with "Armour is less for protection and more to keep the user safe from recoil"...
Which comes from Gear of War and not Starcraft...\
Then there were some quote from Killzone, but associate with Halo... I can't remember though.
The lore was far too ahead of its time
And also they placed the player on the wrong side :p
Killzone mercenaries did it just right
Just keep flipping sides
get cash dollar for headshots
“NOW IS OUR TIME”-Visari
Unnumbered mentions of “Helghast would be right at home in Imperium” on YouTube comment nowadays
Based and cool and Imperialpilled
I would've liked a game from the Helghan side of things besides mercenaries but you know how people are with totalitarian dictatorships these days
I remember my first reaction to 3’s intro. “Where the hell do you keep hiding this many?!”
As someone from HK and simultaneously aware of but also disinterested in the “dictators are scary” aspect of IRL politics.
…
All I can say is, not talking about dictatorships is a weird source of community censorship in its own right.
You cannot know what bad is if you don’t talk about it.
I mean just play the post america game
Forget what it was called
Absolutely, ignoring it does no one any good and just leaves you ignorant
The one with werbell as a faction leader
what the one where the north koreans invade?
Thats red dawn and wasnt originally koreans
Yea I know, it's pretty funny
The new order
Oh, eh, I don't care about Wolfenstein. It never quite hit right for me
Where the best faction was led by definitely upstanding citizen Mitchel Werbell
Not wolfenstein
Yea we can be honest and say they wanted the game to sell in China, but due to all the War Crimes scenes they had to change to North Korea.
If they were not so bone headed to include War Crime Scenes they might have gotten away with China (to appeal to Chinese nationalists)
Ooh that new order
Next time I'm in a HoI 4 mood I've got it on my list, last time was Kaiserreich and then I got bored
Has some interesting figures like this dude
Who made the supressor for the mac-10
And irl was poisoned looney toons style
I've genuinely completely forgotten about this guy, one of those funny 20th century guys who did a lot of weird stuff
are Ogryns like Astartes gone wrong or what
No
abhumans
Ogryns are abhumans
how do they come about
Which means stable
failed transformations?
They are stable mutants
what mutates them
Space marines are just mutants, not stable
Whatever planet they lived on for 20k years
i thought adeptus astartes were once men turned into space marines
but who is turning people into abhumans
Ogryns are born
oh i thought because there's no female they were made
so they like breed and have ogryn communities
They're around just not really depicted, yea
They're a subspecies of human or what have you, with baby ogryns and all
Abhumans are simply humans who evolved in such a way thats very different from the norm or in the case of Beastmen, mutated
ohhhhhh they're a different evolutionary branch
Beastmen aren't mutated, they're also evolved into what they are now
Yes
Its like how we have mutations IRL now
Abhumans are just humans who over time have mutated
Yes, Ogryns evolved on certain high gravity worlds full of danger
And are stable
its just way more wild
they evolved that way
agent orange
Nah in general
they are basically stable mutants that can reproduce
Moreso like the tree people now
the only Abhuman that are mutation per se are the 2 that aren't really Abhuman (Psyker and Blanks)
and the imperium reclaimed their neanderthal ogryn world
Missing limbs, being tall, too big, etc
theres multiple ogryn worlds
Or the tree people
yeah they are usually from high gravity worlds
Are catechans abhumans

Now that I think about it: I wonder if Ogryns developed better cancer-prevention genes as a result of being much bigger
they are just really muscular people
Universally?
No basically just the peak of humanity with no genetic alterations through technology just pure brutal training
There gotta be a mutation in there
No
like the sisters of battle
unusually strong because they just train like like a maniac
which is funny because being a roidfreak look-wise is not really the "peak" human form
Do they just kill the short people?
They're universally 80s action heroes due to their upbringing, that makes them cool and rambo like
Like dont see any reason why they wouldn't be abhumans being ork sized
they arent abhuman bcause they arent mutated
all that shit is from the training regimens they go through
also their environment
catachan coconut dodgeball
They are literally forced to always be on the move
Do you think Catachans could theoretically evolve if enough time was spent on Catachan?
Thought they got big just by living in that environment tbh
With all of the megafauna and shit
💀
come on bro keep up with us
we literally just told you it's their environment
Death worlders are mutants
Catachan aren't Abhuman cause making them Abhuman wouldn't service the Astra Militarum 💀

next question
If GW thinks it's cool if there's enough evolutionary pressure probably
It's just like how people are in the world
If they grow up in a certain environment they get used to it and adapt accordingly
The adeptus administratum is keeping it hidden from us
Hard to say because nobody here is a scientist
and GW also doesnt understand how evolution works
Erm, I did my major in microbiology, so erm....
the **** you mean you become bigger and stronger in gravity?
Yes, we're all nerds (derogatory) and stupid (not derogatory)
Thats not evolutionary biology
For example
No but I touched on genetics
hey i'll have you know i am a stupid nerd therefore i am double derogatory
the entire thing of ogryn worlds having high gravity thus causing them to grow large is wrong
it would be the opposite
i did a biology degree and worked in a lab
Yep
You you guys cannot that's my abysmal intellect
(I know Im just being a dick)
also it probably wouldn't happen in just 20,000 years
Its funny because Squats IIRC also evolved on similar high gravity worlds
Yeah realistically speaking we very much will prob go extinct by that time anyway
But wouldn't make them stronger ?
Should be high gravity, but high oxygen maybe
I never got to work in a lab
strictly speaking any non-earthlike environment would induce evolution on the proper timeframe
I won't go extinct, I'll live forever
what a Catachanian Human would look like? no idea
It would definitely be something akin to african tribesmen somewhat
those fuckers are built for hunting/living
lots of muscle but also tall/stretched looking
All Tomorrows is pretty fun at exploring this stuff
Low gravity would imply that they wouldnt need as much strength to use for average living, so Ogryns would likely become lankier and atrophied
All tommorows wasnt natural evolution though
Yeah that too
Bro there's literally a tribe that uses bows and punch holes through deer

every "human" in that was genetically experimented on
Human blankets
the Forcibly Evolved Humans finally get their revenge millions of years later it's ok
lol yep
also while we are speaking of evolution
remember when God of War Ragnarok was coming out
and they revealed how Thor looked
and people were like
"WHAT, HES NOT MUSCULAR?"
"HES JUST FAT"
Yes, so:
Ogryn: High Gravity, High Oxygen
Longshank: Low Gravity, normal oxygen
Squat: High Gravity, low oxygen...
That is whaf peak performance looks like
Im pretty sure half the world had no idea what "strongman" physique was back then
lol
I had a gym teacher with that kind of Thor build and he was the strongest mfer ever
The whole gut-muscle thing is really interesting yeah
Or what a strongman physique is now tbf
YEP
i think fat thor was a little over the top but yeah nobody should've been expecting Chris Hemsworth
Tbh
because he wasn't just strong fat the guy was an orb
Ogryns could probably develop in normal gravity, but the environment may have to be similar to, say, a Catachan's in order for survival. So yeah, I think high O2 would also be a thing.
Not sure if gigantism would come from catechan thougj
the peak of strongman physique in warhammer
he's also a warrior and a raider, which are his stronger traits more than his feasting (which everyone was idealized to do)
High Oxy normal gravity probably would be the Ratling
Most of those predators would just f up an ogryn
Its not, but if gigantism survives in the gene pool, then well...
Yeah also its clear ogryns are a "stable" line of humans at the moment, since IRL the reason iirc big people ala Andre the Giant etc die so young is due to health issues and such since the human body is not made to operate a physique like that which is tragic
Warriors don't really mean they have body builders physiques
Ogryn also encompass multiple strain
that's not what i said
I was thinking more just the fact that hiding is easier than fighting catechan shit
If we are speaking realism yeah
Most beeg bois evolve in areas with low competition right?
Yeah, the heart has to work harder to pump blood throughout the body and we already have issues with our pelvis/spines, so being bigger doesnt help those issues
I legit doubt theres a way for every catachanii to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger
also the norse were much like us in that when they did describe their characters (such as in Njal's saga) they liked describing them as all being super hot
also like
catachan makes no sense as an ecosystem
so we havent even got into that either lol
Mutant with a myostatin inhibitor

Yea they all have the hercules gene
I remember a cow having something like that once
the idea that DAoT humans forcibly modified themselves to live more comfortably is much stronger than some evolution explanation
Looked ripped as fuck
One of the racing dogs has it stably
Anyway ill steal this myostatin inhibitor idea for some abhumans i gotta write into my thing, thanks a lot nerd

Eddie hall has the same myostatin inhibitor
wouldnt surprise me
Its why he is so large
didnt he literally burst a bloodvessel from lifting?
and like almost give himself brain damage?
He went temproarily blind
💀
Just look up genes on research sites and articles and go ham from there
Lifting 500kg
fuckin nutjob lmao
Then halfthor did 501
LMFAO
Easy peezy
There are cats with that mutation. They are so cute, but they would bankrupt me.
Make a mutant that has a knockout Sonic Hedgehog gene thats a real gene btw
Aren't there some kids with that mutation and they look like bodybuilders
or was that facebook fake news
Yes
Yes
This reminds me when a doctor uhh
went over space marine implantations and made a realistic depiction of them
my favorite addition was the Marine's mouth is completely melted
fucking 10 year old catachan at it
Watched this
"fuck did we make the jaw resistant to acid?" - Emperor, Prototype 1.0
Its so good and a great reality check
I like that, I'll search for it
space marine mutations are dumb af
I really wish there was an execution in SM2 where Titus just hawk tuahs on a Tyranid
its total 90's action-movie logic
wrong they're cool and based
The memory eating thing is the most stupid
Like
how does it even work
i still dont get it
Magic
It's no mutation, it is engineered!!!!
Its not biology
Its not magic is the thing
i love the space marine 1 advertisement where theyve got all the normal ass people saying they've got space marine mutations
like how memories are stored in the genes, asscreed style
Emps stole how to make them from chaos
Aw hell no
Desmond Miles ahhh
XBOX MAGAZYN - http://www.xboxm.pl/ - prezentuje:

"IM A SPACE MARINE"
Federal prisoner
checks out
Typical
Man, I love warhammer

i didn't want to say anything for fear of coming across as offensive
but i lost my mind when i connected the dots there
tbh they 100% knew
WAIT
THE FUCK IS LANCE HENRIKSON DOING IN THERE
THE FUCK

Man late 2000s marketing was wild back then
He can enter a Catatonic State, you know.
Same energy as Mr T as a mohawk elf
I mean
you give me that stare is if this timing is poor
the one where ozzy osbourne is an undead warlock is my favorite
I'M A MAGE
Heres an actual lore accurate meme
(I made this one though so im biased)
nah i know exactly what you're talking about lmao
"I'll do a couple more. Then we should get going."
"Yeah."
RLM read 1 lexicanum page of your choice a la the Darth Vader Suit video
which one is it?
As soon as I saw the Ultramarine helmet i knew
The marine did not die in 1 hit.
Dora is the strongest in 40k
That is such a hard question
Because she jas the map
Proof that marines are the strongest
the vader suit episode was so fucking good
im not sure whats the most goofy 40k thing they can read
theres so many choices
No but he did eventually get completely dematerialized if im remembering right
dance steps for a space hulk
based necrons
"We'll do a couple more."
they'd call it being "sporting"
this is my lore meme submission 🙂
Humans hunt for sport why can't Necrons?
My favorite homebrew is still the New Terran Rangers
except instead of lions and bears it's Astartes
There's at least one or a dozen necrons hunting for sport
hold on I got an actually based meme I also made
Who cucked slaanesh
shop this so it's a necron lord on a dead terminator
As the greatest offering to her
Can I make a killteam for the ordo timeclockius
Bro, that is good
I had a moment like this recently in tower unite and I'll never see that person again it's the saddest shit I ever felt
YEP 😔
Warhammer, Dark Souls, or Elder Scrolls
Very cute meme ngl
Gwynnes a bitch, gwyynivere is a hoe, the pontiff was right
Meme lord, make something with that new series, when the knight pilot tries to connect with the machine spirit.
"Oh Holy Meme Spirit"
THE MOST IMPORTANT INGREDIENT
this just me but replace talking about warhammer with yapping about orks to someone
If orks are so cool then why isnt there blood bowl 2
Alright so here's what you need to know about the "ORK BOYZ"
Anytime you say Ork you gotta emphasize it
There's a Blood Bowl 3
I'm not an annoying ork fan that spams British accent
i have restraint
Sorry I worl at valve I cant count that high
Okay last one
what do you mean you can buy the game on steam
and this is one of the more calmer response you see
Hmm, monkey
Man, the imperium is so good and based and sensible I love it
Oh yeah i know what you mean, i just mean as you say Ork and only ork
theres a reason they'd never show this shit in animated/visual media lol
you're never gonna see a space marine blow apart a mom and her baby with a bolter

Look if grammar killed me for each wrong thing I get I still would not give a crap
U mean a TRAITOR and a TRAITOR PUP
If I had my way we'd have more full metal jacket helicopter doorgunner scenes all over the place in my imperium
Fuck dude, I wish we got some actual traitor regiment/legion POV media, where you absolutely see shit like this
Sure Be Cool If it Did
Still not sure how cherubs are supposed to fly
Someone will animate it eventually
No one has the guts
End of hope?
this fanbase is too busy drawing "owo salamndussy so nice"
I would also love to see the Pearl clutching snowflakes reaction on a marine wouldn't do that type beat
That isnt really the Imperium though, its just a mom with her baby getting chaos-juiced.
Okay but we can have both nice Salamandunussy and genuine warcrimes committed by the Imperium
Have it be Salamander, to really stab them in the heart
Nah
Salamanders wouldnt do that
Sally are also warcrime master.
Coming from the fan base where the people looks of a literal insect dinosaur and say would?
I believe you
They would use promethium
Yes, they're use flamers to do so true
It would be funny if it was a salamander just torching a crowd as the 3rd company does, take that one salateddy fans
The 40K fan need 2 make gentle giants out of literal monstrous living weapons
I think Sanguinius would like Latinas
Its why I love Pariah Nexus
the moment Sa'kan leaves the civillians in his care they all fucking die
lmfao
the ending was so funny
Yeah that was amazingly 40K
a child getting shot by guardsman is not something you'd ever see yeah
also the tithes Bullets
well they "censor" it but it still happens but still lol
Peak
YEP
A lot of people were mad at the Tithes series
because it shows the absolute goofy evilness of the Imperium
i loved it lol
Did they not execute the genestealers in tithes?
Nah
I saw a lot of grimderp accusations getting thrown around, man it's warhammer
Dang that sucks
grimderp is basically "i dont like seeing the Imperium do dumb stuff"
I can understand grimderp to an extent
Grimderp is yrliet complaining about losing her soulstones when she has 5 in her pocket
When everything is so dark, nothing really hits that hard anymore
grimperp is shit that makes no sense like the grey knights killing the sisters to bathe in their blood
You could describe to me kids getting flayed alive and Id go "Classic."
"Absolute cinema"
Classic, I clapped when the children were annihilated

Like the Imperium could be the only Golden Path Leto II style to preserve humanity
Even if so
Some of the shit is over the top. But killing civilians to avoid spread of mind controling shit, I can see it.
The evils are not less evil.
Honestly I think it was a kink for someone
A tragic monster is still a monster, even if the 40k Imperium could approach that after the horus heresy novels
And also we will never know whether it is the GP unlike in Dune where we’re told
So it’s removed even from that
The Imperium isn't less evil than any of the other factions
Than Chaos? Ehhhhhhjhh
I mean chaos
There were paths for better factions to exist, but they were snuffed by the Imperium
Nids
Chaos is literally just the worst parts of what’s already in the imperium
Distilled
Nids not evil at all
Drukhari
Tyranids aren't evil, they're locust
Oh, SM armour can recycle waste and reuse it. I wonder if SoB armour does the same.
To humans they are evil
probably but don't give the internet gooners any ideas
