Trooper, and bounty hunter being the most boring
like sorry but in my Giant Space WW2 Good Vs Evil you'll have to forgive me if i dont find "Random gangster" compelling narratively
bounty hunter and smuggler are bottom tier
trooper is actually pretty good because you get exactly what you signed up for
which is band of brothers in space
Smuggler has the best voicelines though
Thats the struggle
finish the starting planet, get a companion, run errands in 2 planets and go through every inch (same planets as the last time and you walk like a snail), go back, something unique happens for once, more errand runs on 3 planets this time, same planets as the last time, go back again, something a little different happens, finally something truly unique in the last planet thats actually fun and interesting, but it took like 20 hours to get there
Swore the first planet takes like 4 hours max
yeah thats the starting planet part
i mean it sounds like you just don't like the game period
you enjoy the first class mission
because that's objectively an uncharitable and overly generalized description of everything
then you do another and realize it is the exact same thing until you waste HOURS
The idea is on double exp weekends you only do your class stuff
as if other times you have to do anything else
no they're trying to say even the class stuff is the same
they give enough levels to finish the story
You did when I played
and it is STILL easy
A lot of side quests
which is silly
on release you had to do the whole-ass planet PLUS the bonus missions
i never did any side quests besides those i was interested in
just cuz it is better now doesnt mean it is good now
it is still boring to just even finish one planet
im not saying whether or not its better, im just saying what it used to be
when you move at a snails pace and get attacked every 10 meters unless you bought the faster speeder skill
it is a good concept, terrible execution
it is like the class quests in ffxiv, except thats the whole game, and you do it like 8 times
and they are twice as boring
there's only so many ways i can say that's just blatantly untrue
in ffxiv you have to grind dungeons every 10 levels for a morsel of class quest
while in SWTOR every class is a dramatically different storyline that takes you through the entire leveling process
thats less annoying, faster, and more fun than one fucking planet in swtor
it sounds like it's just different tastes in games
personally i find spamming the dungeonfinder queue to be deathly boring
the story is different, the execution, gameplay, presentation and everything is exactly the same
it is like playing a game, modding master chief in it, then playing it again
not true
except it looks like a different game now
the mission structure, the story structure, the actual missions, it is all the same except the characters, and the text
Story structure is not
you can tell someone one class story and it will apply to every single class
it's LITERALLY not
it LITERALLY is
this is a crazy person take
How is a space spy drama similar to any of the jedi stories
the real criticism of SWTOR is that everything after the class stories is lazy mono-class slop

i finished inquisitor, playing bounty hunter right after felt no different no different whatsoever and it was like torture, and ruined everything i enjoyed in the first run
Bounty hunter story sucks
yeah this is like a sucker-punch of a take to me
it doesnt if you play it first
me when trooper and sith warrior are identical??
It does
whatever you play first is awesome, the rest is ass
i cant even bother with sith warrior cuz i KNOW it will be the same
you havent even PLAYED them??
i can only run so many errands in so many planets for hours and hours to get 1 lore tidbit and then go back to running errands
how are you speaking from any level of experience whatsoever
You played the worst story second and think its the same for all of tge others
if you've played exactly one and a half stories
the half being one of the most boring ones
"you only played the game for 100 hours and think the rest also sucks"
if the game sucks for the first 100 hours then yeah it sucks
i finished inquisitor
your claim:
All 8 of the stories are identical except for dialogue changes
your evidence:
Playing one story, getting filtered by another
then played bounty hunter which was the exact same thing with a different coat of paint.
Yes but you cant talk as if the stories are all the same when you havent played them
Because you do not know them
i dont even want to, cuz i KNOW it will just be errand errand run from point A to B complete the entire planet, get a little bit of lore, errand, errand
of course you're gonna get "different coat of paint" feeling even if you're not reading the storyline (which i get the sense you're not)
that's fine if you just don't like how SWTOR's game is designed
so the stories suck unless you play it in a specific order in a specific way?
but you're just saying things utterly divorced from reality
i did, text is the only different thing.
no im saying the Imp and Republic experiences are vastly different to one another

everything else is just another coat of paint, and feels like doing the same thing over and over, i would much rather just play a completely different game instead of playing the same story but with different guys this time woooo
then play a different game! i dont know why you keep pushing this "its all the same" thing when you don't even know it's true
ah so one half of the game is exactly the same, the 4 class in one side feel exactly the same, you are just proving my point
not what i said
are you trolling me?
if a 2 classes of the game has been exactly the same i have no reason to think the rest wont.
it is exactly what you said
going from empire class to empire class, no wonder they feel the same
so empire classes all feel the same?
Im just confused as how they are the same
you can think whatever you like, but you saying this objectively false thing like it's fact
Inquisitor is all about finding doodads
cuz it is, idc what you think
Bounty hunter is well being a bounty hunter
The fetch quests are different and involve different npcs
it is also about finding doodads but doodads look different now and have different text
and exactly the same in execution besides how the guys look and sound
Like its parallel stories running on the same planet
Give more concrete examples then because Im not getting it
sith warrior and inquisitor are the two ones i would say are more or less interchangeable
it is literally just the same game except you changed the text and the models, thats it, it is no different experience whatsoever
it is insanely boring
nope!
yep!
But that means the stories are different
take off the rose tinted glasses
yeah and you have to play the exact same thing (which was already boring and annoying and slow the first time) when you can just read it somewhere and continue with your first class
it is still the same game
me when two books are identical because they both involve turning pages and reading
same story, just a different coat of paint
if thats all you got from this I am done
enjoy slop
LOL
duuude i dont get its the same book the only things different are the covers and the words!
actually i play Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters
and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide
...those are completely different genres
i am talking to a brick fucking wall i dont have time for this
keep doing what you are doing
also, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Anniversary Edition
You mod cod to take place in different places with different characters and different plot points, is it still cod?
Ship of Cod, if you will
or rather
the Cod of Theseus
Yes.
Especially if the gameplay is as boring and repetitive as swtor in playthrough alone.
Now I go and watch andor bye
it's the same as all the other shows, y'know
only thing different is dialogue and characters
This is fair
Gameplay does not change
You sit and watch, you don't have to actively do the same things to experience a different story that's presented in the same way
It is tiring
I understand your issue now and, makes sense
I would much rather just watch or read the other stories
Thank you finally
well gameplay of an RPG is essentially identical across the board, that being stats and levels and abilities
so that's just a genre problem
SWTOR is the same game as WoW is the same game as RoR
Games at least have their own gimmicks and stuff
And the environments and everything feel fresh
Exactly why I don't play multiple classes in gw2
the point is more that the writing has always been the main draw of an RPG
Only for the first time for me if the game has multiple classes
After that if the gameplay isn't engaging enough I can't take it
well actually an MMO has multiple draws, SWTOR always failed in the other things (raids, PvP, etc)
the narrative was really the only thing it had
Sadly not enough on its own
and when the expacs became mono-class slop they failed in that too
hence why it became the TORtanic
I could just watch or read the other class stories and don't feel like I missed anything
By not actually playing them
I should do so sometime
And maybe do play a Jedi, if they ever add a kel'dor race
I love the design of the elite republic trooper. Though, it is more on the tacticool side. The ARC and Clone Commando are still the 2 best in terms of tacticool and awe.
I FUCKING LOVE OLD REPUBLIC
Seeing dedra and syril together feels so odd for some reason lmao
She does look really pretty with her hair down tho
And god that house is so white
I prefer the sith trooper look
Sith troops most of the time are just awe (intimidation), but it lack of tactical and practical aspect for me.
I like when my fiction also think of practicality.
Swtor sith troopers seem just as practical to me
Btw, that pauldron is even worse than the SM one... it overlaps the chest piece...
These are mostly city guards anyway
It is meant to look like Darth Vader's
Or underlap to be more precise...
Yeah it is pretty bad
But looks sick lol
Glad you can finally get it now
It used to be exclusive to those who bought smth when game was very early
Now you can buy a token from cartel market that gives you access to all the exclusive stuff from back then including the normal sith trooper uniform
Darth Vader armour is actual practical because there was an actor under that armour.
Wot? Vader does have pauldrons.
Come on brother, not Star Wars, too...
Under the cape
And black
So I never really paid attention to it
But Vader cant move much so I doubt it hinders him much
No, it doesn't underlap. You can see the clear gape.
Compared to an active soldier
It could underlap if he moves his arm inwards quite a bit
But yeah that part of the armor is a reference to vader which is pretty cool ngl
Only the upper chest piece for those troopers.
Yeah that's the part I am talking about
Lol
It instantly reminded me of vader
The helmet looks like a flattened phase 2 clone trooper lmao
Hey there, phase 2 clone helmet is far better.
It is not the mount grid only helmet.
This makes SM mk7 helmet grid looks small...
It is like they punched one very hard and flattened it's face lmao
Random fun Star wars fact
Canonically, Vader's armor is a piece of shit
It was too tight in some places, the weird lights on his chest constantly beeped
The oxygen part would literally just turn off for a few seconds for no reason
Sith draw power from anger or something
The fact it’s a piece of shit is prolly intentional
That and to prevent Vader from ever overthrowing Palpatine easily
At least without dying
It was made to both limit and fuel him
And I guess that's also why it was made to also be annoying for Anakin
Seriously imagine having to deal with what's essentially random alarm beeping while you sleep
I find it even funnier that the iconic breathing noise could've just not been there in lore.
It's basically just Vader gasping for air due to the mask also being a piece of shit.
But it's also why it's so intimidating.
Two things I find funny is that the noise he makes is his suit breathing for him, before he shows up in rogue one he isn't making that noise
Bro is suffocating himself to aura farm
Yeah he can actually survive outside of his suit for a while
Yeah there's the example with Tarkin
Where he turns off his suit to sneak up on him and his bounty hunters
It's like Polnareff's stair encounter with Dio
Intimidating at the moment
But really funny once you think about it
All for the aura
Because if you think about it. It's equivalent to holding your breath
Waiting in anticipation for the rebel scum (tm)
Also an even funnier part is that right after Rogue One is his meeting with Leia
Who acts dumb
She was basically like
"idk what you're talking about man."
Meanwhile Vader LITERALLY saw her soldiers
Steal the Death Star Plans
Minutes beforehand
Tbf shock and awe and all that
Horrifying space wizard who can strangle you to death
Is certainly a nightmare
It recontextualizes his anger. Instead of showing how evil he is. His anger is now contextualized as
"BITCH DON'T LIE TO ME I LITERALLY SAW THAT SHIT HAPPEN. IT WAS CAUGHT IN 4K."
"That wasn't me."
"nuh uh"
"I LITERALLY SAW IT WITH MY OWN EYES"
“Nuh uh”
“Whatcha mean ‘nuh uh’?!?!?”
40K is just aura farming the setting
Huge bop
Niamos
And mothmas pure anxiety fueled moves
Even the nids are aura farming now
She hitting that shit ong
That scene was so uncomfortable tho
U know the one

But also satisfying in the end
Tie avenger is so broken
"y'all have any good writing?"
"We have hype moments and aura"
Fire
Maybe, just maybe, the bugs can be cool
The music in EP 3 was kinda uncomfortable ngl
Oh it also played in season 1
In episode 1, club scene
And the beach planet where andor gets taken to you know where
Yes, Vader draws power from pain. Though, it was something for the actor to wear in real life, so yeah.
Nothing good happens when that music starts lmao
It also to keep him in check so he can't hurt palpatine right?
(didn't work well)
Well, there are some pain stronger than other.
Ghorman is such a funny name...
OH SHIT
THATS WHO THIS GUY WAS
Now I remember
She still has nightmares over that huh
Yeah, reasonable
I completely forgot about that scene ngl
Ah here comes the year skip
Honestly it is so fun to see the imperial side of things
Lives of common officers, their inner workings
And how much work has gone into the death star
||thousands of prisoner labor for mere screws, an entire planets minerals just for the reactors coating||
It is insane
Yeah he specifically made it weak to electricity
Vader wouldn't be able to overthrow him without dying himself.
Perhaps that was Palpatine's greatest flaw.
He couldn't understand somebody going against him for something other than selfish power.
Ironic, given that he manipulated his affection for his wife.
That same love that he manipulated, also killed him in the end.
...until he came back but let's just ignore that.

Oh wow they really showed dqar
So we WILL see sequel planets in the empire era, that's nice
The natives look really cool, kinda like keldors
True....
And his return was really announced in a Fortnite live event lmao
The broadcast they speak of at the start of the last Jedi
That was first heard in a Fortnite live event
Generally the prequel media generally has my favorite moments and shows
Which shows how much potential it had, even with the movies being uh
Not that good
At least they're entertaining.
i like disney era empire stuff
like rogue one
and andor
thats all
there is nothing else
If there is one thing I can say that the Prequels are better at wholesale
It's that they tried
They tried to expand the universe, it's history, etc.
The sequels feel like they were just going through the motions.
And it's probably why people appreciate the prequels more now. Although they've gotten to the point where they say that the prequel movies are good.
...
Yeah I think that is grade A delusion right there
i dont like sequels, no
they suck
Fandom is a shit wiki
it has been accurate for cosmetics so far
literally everything else there IS obviosly krieg
either has death korps in the name or have vraks in the name and came with the blue krieg sets
would a kriegsman navigator be possible?
Have your read the Navigator page? No lol
Anything someone from Krieg can be is just a cannon-fodder soldier, they dont produce anything else to be sent offworld.
doesnt navigator mutation occur cuz of the warp? it has to happen at birth?
hmmm then how can i make the fashion make sense
Theres more to it than that
Character thought it looked cool
Its a carefully cultivated gene
So they bought it to wear
Also that too lol
dont think you can just buy a navigator helmet though
lol
they also thought the krieg coat looked cool?
You absolutely can
You just aren't looking hard enough
it is still a gas mask i can see a kriegsman thinking it is a very cool one, especially a krieg psyker
the in game krieg psyker helmet is so ass
wish it had an actual helmet like every other class
it is also the only one that covers the head fully, if they added a helmet to that it would have been perfect
this guy is wearing the exact outfit the navigator of mourningstar is wearing
and apperently, isnt a navigator, just happens to have that helmet
i guess it is fine
this is the mourningstar navigator
apperently this one was found in a wreckage
yeah hallowette probably has a bunch of navigator helmets she took from dead navigators lying around, that sounds like her
that's probably the more... legitimate way she acquired some of them. I wouldn't be surprised if some came into her possession differently
so are all navigators from noble houses?
how else?
stole?
how are you gonna steal from a navigator thats still alive?!
payday 2 reject drip heist
you steal the next weeks slop for hallowette

well you see to "steal" they need to be "alive"
Yes.
They also do incest to make their 3rd eye gene pass on
I guess if they want the "illness" to indeed transmit, that IS a pretty efficient way
That would get her killed, Navigator stuff is like top of the line shit. This is just another cosmetic =/= lore thing.
Navigators arent random rich people you can kill on the street for loot
But these "characters" the sets belong to
Literally none of them that have navigator helmets
Are navigators
Yeah but you wearing them is again gameplay =/= lore
But how did they get them then?
Oh my god
But the guy who wears it isn't
gameplay =/= lore
BECAUSE IT ISNT A NAVIGATOR HELMET
ITS A FUCKING PSYKER ONE
The flavor text of the sets in the shop don't count as gameplay really

The description talks about the navigator families not liking being called inbred
Yeah it doesnt say the user is a navigator
If it isn't a navigator helmet, that's a very random thing to bring up
immovable object meets unstoppable force
The same helmet in silver IS a navigator helmet
Aren't the characters that give names to these sets actually canon?
Yes. You wearing them isnt.
I wonder how long this will go on
But them wearing them is
So there are at least 2 sanctioned psykers out there with navigator helmets, who aren't navigators
If it doesnt say its a navigator helmet it isnt a navigator helmet.
Yes because those are characters. You arent them.
It’s designed to look like one but it obviously isn’t lol
^
It’s missing the third eye
Seriously, its not that deep.
anyways if Emps created all primarchs as female would the horus heresy happen later or sooner?
Wouldnt matter.
Gender means jackshit in siblings, they will always fight.
Next question.

would there have been more chaos primarchs?
Same time
No
Gender doesn't exactly influence your fall to the unknowable eldritch gods
yes
The idea that sisters fight less/more then brothers is deranged lol
I didn't really have any idea behind the question
just bored of the navigator discussion
make me
What are the lore implications of the Deathleaper having drip
trve
My fist up your-
💀
CALLING FIRST
The true reason for the heresy is horus thought he was getting drip
Real
I think it’s funny enginseers magically lose a toughness when in tech priest covenants in 30k
Like ????
Less necron tech integrated
I mean dark age of tech

what's the sororitas drip percentage
ardent shroud sacresants
Drip, not drown
Floating with the ducks
Real drip guys are the mordians
nah
I fucking hate this shitty keyboard
One of the recolors say it is, one of them mention navigators, the other just has a generic text, the imperial navigator mini also uses the same helmet, so does the mourningstar navigator in the trailer, that helmet style isn't a navigator helmet?
Really?
It’s missing the third eye
That looked like a seperate attachment in the trailer
Every piece of proper navigator headgear has the thing for the third eye
It is a physical visor/hole for the third eye to look through
Yeah the mourningstar navigator in the trailer has the same helmet with a third eye
Here
Wish that was in game
If that was the case
I see, it is fine then
Isnt the third eye attached in rogue trader....
What
That’s jewelry
Well "cover"
It’s like a fancy monocole
Oh nah they graft shit into their third eye
Soulstones or somethin
She can take it off
I think
Yee
Its modified, its not the same helmet from the minis.
Cassia's jewelry is attached to the head?
It isnt.
Thank god
Its just to stop people from seeing her third-eye.
or she'll fucking vaporize you
lol
What is this then lol
What is ebil talking about
House orselio did a thing
Knights of Macragg has a good segment about what a navigator can do and how horrific they are
Cassia's abilities are pretty scary in game
Cassia is also more potent than the normal navigator
Due to the grafted soulstones
||And being a body made to hold tisiphone||
Are mega cities like countries or smth
Ah
But yeah the navigator Barthus goes insane and forces people to look into his third eye causing them to go insane and kill themselves, he's also described as crawling around like a spider on the walls and shit
this raises several questions
https://youtu.be/tG__JWcpymc?si=T7v7YjZkv49aZsWB
also there's the scene with the fucking thing
Damn, weirdo
i am confused yet intrigued
I don't care for bug divers but it's funny how they refuse to do anything but fight bugs
Its based.
let people play the game
you fucking sociopaths

"How dare you not have attachment and attraction and genuine respect and patriotism for a fictional planet instead of having fun in a game you paid for"
I watched it
guys ignore this loser
damn it
but I'm also gonna go enjoy this ice cream before the helldivers 2 bitching commences
Peaceblade 8.000
oh yeah before I die I must post peak

if this becomes big i'm laughing at dilara
it actually looks fun tbh
of course not
The YouTube thumbnail was straight up a space marine tho
FTL is way too high of a bar
The description is literally just 40k
hopefully when the next game by the two guys comes out in like 2030
i love into the breach too
Tbf into the breach was a completely different genre
And it is very good
As well tbh
What is FTL
sadly not as popular
ask anybody who owns it to give you the free key that everybody gets
Faster than light travel?
lol
No I have no idea what it even is lmao
Or what it stands for
FTL is the video game that void war is based on
And yeah it stands for faster then light
A 40k game?
FTL:faster than light
Really?
came out in uh 2012
That's the method of fast travel in helldivers lmao
from a kickstarter
That’s
possibly one of the best roguelikes ever made in my own humble opinion
What faster then light travel is abbreviated as
It’s not an original like
Abreviation at all
Agreed
Overwhelmingly positive
Yeah is a'ight
Roguelike strategy huh
No, like ftl as a term
Nah
Damn
For “faster then light”
Sick
Hope we get to use the term irl
Lol
I ain't buying it tho
what other mod comes even close
Admiral edition used to, until they stopped working on it
i need to try multivers i just too lazy to learn how to download mods
the base game is already peak
Tbh I like base ftl a ton
Lol
It plays extremely well
Also my favorite theory about ftl is the player is the ships onboard AI lol
lol
i like the FTL lore it's short, simple and serves the player agency
you just really want to accomplish your mission
Evil rebellion
and god ben prunty us a fucking god
Go stop big ship
i love his music
All the plot you need
favorite song wolf?

i love it so much
the moment when you hear the classic synth
i love how you can tell what synth is meant to represent the player and which is the environment if you get what i mean
2:02 is best part
one of the hardest things i've ever done in my life was unlock the crystal cruiser without cheating
If anyone has an eye for it, what seems to be the latest era IG tanks tske design cues from. The Rogal Dorn kind of makes me think it's inspired by the M48
The turret at least
Ngl crystal cruiser is lowkey bullshit RNG sometimes
To unlock
sometimes?
Its actually difficult
wolf it is hell on earth
the conditions are batshit insane
it is arguably the best ship in the game
the 4 square teleporter mantis ship is also ridiculous
oh did you know why crystal are in game btw
I see
I yearn to be a rich lord of olde who can just dump money onto promising artists to make masterpieces
Now rich people these days just steal money instead of funding cool things being made
the hard part is getting artists to take more money
you will be paid extra and you will accept it god fucking damn it
How many neon ones a month
the more things change the more things stay the same
stimulating the local economy baby
artists living off of the designs of the aristocratic patrons
one might say the furry community styles itself like the italian houses of the great renaissance
i can assure you we are not doing it intentionally
you do NOT want to know what michelangelo would be doing for money in the modern day
or leonardo
whatever dead italian guy
How accurate is the furries being software engineers stereotype
In other words what is your job
it's untrue. it's only the furries with a suspicious amount of money that work in tech
i work in tech
not software though!!!
For as much hate as furries get for just minding their own business, kinda glad that they get to secretly be the Illuminati of the art industry
hey can I have the free key everybody gets?
i gave mine to my cousin and he never played it
so i can't help
just ask a friend who had the game when enter the breach came out
it came with a free FTL key
I mean
Furries actually help artists keep living
And somehow have an appreciation for the effort put in
So hey, win/win
I have no idea why the furry community specifically appreciates art mroe
Probably because of the want to be creative with their OCs
...
Actually a lot of artists are also furries
That's probably why
Like if you've seen the amount of sexy anthro animal women
It's been like this since animation was created
Betty Boop?
Literally a dog girl
Known widespread as a sex symbol
Furries and artists are basically a symbiotic relationship at this point
https://youtu.be/08cmC0eX554?si=9f415m62C3qapaDU
Is this video lore accurate?
That's your thinking. Kriegs don't think of anything as cool aside from their issued kit, because they all believe that they are issued the best equipment for their job. This is why they are not zealous, but extremely fanatical.
Fuck, didn't check the time stamp, I just woke up.
Eh, i is not even 2am here yet. I'm definitely not fixed...

just finished Galaxy in Flames but i really want some 40k lore - feel like i'm reading prequels but don't know anything about what they're prequelling🤣
Eisenhower or Ghost series? i'm leaning Eisenhower they sound really cool
and Dan Abnett was noticably the best author of the 3 Horus Heresy books i read
Eisenhorn is often considered a good starting point for warhammer. As for the Horus Heresy, keep in mind it's a byproduct of 40k and not the other way around.
yeah lol i'm glad i read the trilogy but i definitely need to experience more actual 40k setting before i go further🤣
Going through the whole Horus Heresy is not recommened. It varies wildly in quality.
For 40k there's a list pinned of recommended stuff
Nurgle
Brb going somewhere shady
getting proof?

yeah like you would only recommend that to someone who really really really likes space marines
For the gold standard of starting into warhammer it's gonna be almost always Ciaphias cain
Someone who REALLY likes space marines. And nothing else.
i mean my ogryn alone probably has more respect than an actual sanctioned guardsmen
haha
Hadron looks adorable here
Another andor episode done
God, saw gerrera makes me so uncomfortable
I can't tell when this man is lying, being genuine, or straight up insane
This is a screenshot worthy reaction lmao
but yeah hes an extremist, hes meant to make you uncomfortable, its great
he sounds like he fits in the imperium
He is so fucking eerie
The entire yap session he had at the end
I was at the edge of my bed
I guess I can now guess how he will be in the state he was in in rogue one
Saw just needs to make one speech at me and I'm on board
Diego Luna tho
God that man is oozing charisma
I love him
The cafe scene was so good
He scared her shitless lmao
Him, Pedro Pascal, Oscar Isaac
God they are so charismatic I wanna be gay (not really)
I still cant believe he hasnt almost aged a day since Rogue One
that shit was like 9 years ago
Would a rogue trader’s Arch-Militant be the one in charge of directing their military forces such as hired mercenaries? Or would more administrative personnel be in charge of that since it’s kinda a business transaction?
So the arch militant would be the one telling them “go to this planet, kill these guys”? And like the factotum would negotiate the actual contract?
Pretty much
Not like the factotum would know about leading soldiers
Why else would there be an arch militant onboard
Well I wasn’t sure if a arch militant is really a leader type role, or if they’re more like a bodyguard/weapons expert for the RT
they must have some level of squad leadership
yeah they do just fine at leadership, maybe not so much tactical planning but they get the skills for that too
You got Saw and then his band of fools
BEEZER FORTUNA
The politically minded cousin of Bib Fortuna, like tf
put some respect on Beezer
Aw hell no crackhaed Bib Fortuna
And I think saw fuckin
Rewired his medical droid
To allow him to do a shit ton of drugs
Bro just straight huffing starship fuel
YES
medical droids are so creepy
but god i love how they're just built from 80's scrap
back when a ribbon microphone was considered junk
like imagine being somebody seeing star wars 5 when it came out and realizing that droids are literally junk
it looks retro futuristic to us because we're not used to that tech
Holy shit
Man really likes huffing fuel huh
Episode 6 of andor
HOLY SHIT
The tension in both scenes is gonna make me shit my pants, man
This is PEAK
I like how Andor doesn't shy away from killing off prominent characters
Wish rest of star wars did that too
BIX COOKED SO HARD
THATS MY GIRL
I love this couple
is their any guesstimates on how many baseline humans were involved during istvhan 5
What accent do orks use? I can’t remember how to describe it
mentally disabled cockney
Ok it is cockney
football hooligan cockney
“The best means of Attack is Defence, an' the best means of Attack is a really really Big One, right, with lots of Boys an' dead big shooty things an' what have ya.”
Deep Ork philosophy
I don't believe so. We do know the Imperial Army, Mechanicum and some Titans of Legio Atarus were present on the Loyalist's side, though
wagg is literally an interpretation of the unintelligable gutteral cheer a drunk hooligan might make when their team scores
One thing about Andor is that its screen writer is an oldschooler. Like, Hollywood, and Disney, tried to weed those people out for a while. However, the success of Rogue One is undeniable that Disneys keep the guy. Then the Andor show is also doing well. You see the pattern.
*For a guesstimate guesstimate, less than a million
I love the numbers in warhammer books so much
they're either wildly too big or wildly too small, it's so peak
GW does not know numbers
Even at full strength, all of the SM could not get more than 1M on the planet. None of them were full strength.
EXAR KUN
i am fairly sure that some solar auxilia attached to space marine chapters were present
It is nice being on the edge of my seat in scenes with actual tension knowing literally ANYONE can die, and there CAN be actual consequences if things go wrong
So the guestimation of around 1M is still about 1 to 2 normal troops per SM.
kind of makes sense when you think about it
ngl putting a base on a planet home to many sith temples seems like a dumb idea
It is like amber, burn slow, but HOT!
As dumb as building the Jedi temple on Coruscant on top of a Sith Temple
if you treat space marines like armour or jets in our world they would need a lot of support personnel
tbf they didnt know about that one
was kinda the whole point
No they did
I think it should be at least 5 times the number of troops on the ground for 1 SM, then 5 more on the ships/bases for logistic.
but it's poeeeetic
They used to know, but it is lost with time.
if only somebody left a sticky note explain that
Many Jedi don't even know all history of the Old Republic.
Hmmm, those space elf looks kind of small...
sigsen stop taking photos of naked ogryns
Holy shit i wanna see cogg destroy a space marine
My dads shame needs to be spread further
Eldar bitties
I do think the Eldar are a bit short for my tastes
Begone with this
Yavin 4 is full of sith temples?
Also yeah, Eldar dude chest looks like tits...
yes
Season 1 was a slow burn but this is a joy every second
Yavin itself is a gas giant
^
Yavin 4 has the temples
fair
The same moon?
Yavin 4 is a moon but you could call it a planet due to it's size
if Exar khun is there its 4
Good!!
At episode 7 enjoying every second
Cassian can be so annoying and stubborn sometimes tho lmao
the tomb of Naga Sadow is where Exar meet his end
would that be first born or primaris astartes comparison to ogryn u think
I hope battlefront 2 resurgence has an actual effect
Primaris
Like it's just hilarious that the reason the Temple has this massive ziggurat is because they literally just built a massive concrete shell around the Sith Temple and then built their house on top of it
My guess would've been Firstborn, I thought Primaris and Ogryn were the same height
The gigantic stone base isnt the actual temple?
That's just... concrete?
God I fucking hate corruscant
First born is about 1 head taller than human, primaris is 1 head taller than first born.
No that's also the Temple
Ferrocrete to be precise but basically
I bet if there is a space marine companion they'll be primaris because Ulfar was firstborn
every hive worlds ever be like
I'd like to see owlcat make a primaris model
everything has an underbelly
I kinda fw desert planets
go live on Naboo and be a space italian
Nar shaddaa is even worse
Nah too many nobles and gungans
The 2 worst kind of people
Ghorman is so pretty tho ngl
whats wrong w gungans
Where is it based on?
Also, that orgryn in the picture is way bigger than average orgryn.
They ugly
I love the ancient sith because they're comically evil for the most part
prob the reason they were recruited tbh
inquisitor probably said holy shit that ogryns massive get me him
ogryn can grow to 10 feet
which is their max height
Yeah, but the average is about 2.5m.
Yeah that's ten feet ain't it?
And first born is 7'/2.1m IN armour.
8
You see, people like to bloat the size...
yeah but i would not be suprised if this one is taller than the average
Yeah, but it is why they Marine is not first born because the orgryn is bigger than him.
That boy is an absolute unit.
10' would be 3m.
They basically clock in around the size of an ork nob or
An average size of an ork warboss
My issue with some of the description is that they usually take the range between the average to the max.
Like human height in some media say that human is from 1.7 to 2m tall. That's from average to the upper 1% height.
There are short people, it is ok to be short, don't shy my kindreds.
I guess they really want to sell the fact that biologically speaking ogryns are the biggest soldiers of the imperium
I am also pretty sure they are the physically strongest thing in the imperium
So making them really fucking massive is a good move
Some of the strongest
Not including special characters they are basically borderline strongest average soldier you can put the front lines physically speaking
These guys sufficient strength to drag around armored transport vehicles and throw boulders around
There were stronger, but well, you know what happened to the smarter "mutants".
Assuming the human is 180 cm/6ish feet the space marine comes to about 230 cm tall, unless I did something disastrously wrong. That's in line with a tall firstborn
wouldnt custodes be taller on average
It is confirmed over and over again by GW themselves that SM is 7' in armour!!!! People just want to do the dick measuring contest and push the height to be taller and taller...
Custodians range from 9 to 10 feet tall
GW was trying to brainstorm new horrendous species for humanity to fight, saw the British and went “Yes! That!”
Average human is 1.7m.
So about 5'7 for human.
firstborn or
they are based near Nottingham so
Primaris, doesnt really matter
they are like 1-2 inches taller lol
so same shit
so ogryns are pretty much always in line w astartes of any type and on the rare occasion a massive one pops out they might maybe hit custodes height
Primaris is hard pushed to 8', again, IN ARMOUR!!!!!!!!!!
Its inconsistent.
Ogryn height varies wildly
Midget ogryn
A brexit geezer
Yeah but at the low end they're definitely around the size of ork nob
It is anywhere from 2 to 3m.
Around 8 ft
Norf fc enjoyer
Yes 8 to 10 ft
Like 6'6" to 10'.
An ogryn that's like over 10 ft is already going to be horrifying
i feel like the taller an ogryn would be the more detrimental it would be as theyre not know to have the best armor i dont think and it just makes a bigger and bigger target
Doesnt matter, its 40k.
So image like that, they should actually be on the same eye level against each other.
you can apply that logic to like most big things in-universe lol
they can be outfitted with better as this is 40k
yeah but when they can tank bolter rounds like its nothing and crush 3 chaos terminators with ease it doesnt matter much
Give me smart ogryns back
40k is known as a setting to laugh at standardization
This is how tyberos can simultaneously be an imperator titan and terminator
Dog I know, did you miss out on the word tall. There are a few examples. I'm not saying it is as firstborn
i mean still unless its like someone importants guard theyre probably just gonna have a rinky dink flak plate
