Damn
and the 3 headed creature is nightmaw
Mawmaw is not the law
I am the law...
Dredd is honestly one of the best comic adaptations ever
Dredd and Blade
only now do you realize how cool arbites are
it is too late!!!
im so angry right now i could perform a coup on cuba using the CIA
wasn't godwin feshig an arbites?
well they're no space marines but I guess they're alright
it is too late for you
you should have realized before
they are objectively the coolest looking imperial faction
Even the fucking dog is aura farming
and anime pfp wanted sisters of battle
nah you're getting the faction that gets shit done
custodes?
I still cannot get over this image
LET HIM COOK.
now they will finally add shotguns to darktide
probably the most likely faction to be added to this game and NOBODY guessed it
everybody was talking about admec or sisters
LOSERS
Do you think Arbites will start off dripped or do thay look like scrubs on release?
Clutched a damnation run, got down, they got jumped by 2 bosses
If they aren't rejects
No reason for prisoner garb
i didnt even think of that larmoth
That's why I been asking if dlc readily comes with clothes
Maybe they will add some to hestia milestones
Start out looking like a mall cop and end up looking like the swaggiest mfer around
i wanna know the logic of an arbites who was sentenced to death
Knowing fatshark, probably. Though they didn't give the fgs and relic blade skins for weeks.
"well im not dead today so i guess im following the law"
This is different though, being paid, so maybe.
"This must be a mistake, I am a loyal servant to the throne"
naaaah
Nah needs a new prologue
arbites fully trust the process of law
An arbite ain't taking shit from Zola of all people
they worship law
And who makes the law?
I mean, literal astartes run astray of things
yes and arbites will shoot astartes without a second thought lol
Sisters can fuck up and end up repentia or worse.
arbites follow the law like the zealot follows the emperor
And zealot is in the Inquisition now.
if an arbites is evil then he really thinks what he's doing is legally justified
chaos i mean
Being on the wrong side of an Imperial legal squabble will get you shitcanned.
He was not sentenced to death.
Arbites arent rejects.
Can't wait for new prologue
shotgun buff incoming
A good non double barrel would be sick
Full auto shotgun
you mean like the combat shotguns already in game
No
Those are full auto?
Because those are pumps and semis
^ give me that
I wanna magdump a full auto
you could also click faster
But they are still relaoding one by one
the shotgun the arbites is holding is not magazine fed
and this game still HAS NO MELTA GUN
arbites will get trap gun, discount ogryn shield and flashbangs
Same but for an actual gun
Smh
the arbites will get the krieg auto shotgun this is my wisdom
The weapon customization mod gives melta magazines
also grenade lauchers probably
i dont care
NOOOOOO GIVE THIS TO THE ZEALOT I WANT IT
I am saying it has to be in the files somehow
Cuz that mod solely uses things from the game
I don't expect anything, but getting this stupid scoped shotgun would be a +2
literally everything they use is a shotgun
which is very funny
that thing shoots slugs so it's just a rifle
but it's still pump action
Imma start sm1
it makes killing civillians easier
I just want to play arbites and beat poxxies with a shockstick or something. Like a cop at a student manifestation
Im praying for your wisdom sigsen
they'd get sued by the metro gun designers
Anything u guys recommend watching on Warhammer+?
Honestly just watch whatever is on
if you already have warhammer+ then its all pretty good imo
theres barely anything as is
I definitely do
Totally

as far as just things to watch, i liked exodite
Theres a few guardsman related stuff in there
you can see them on the covers of episodes
there are no covers in you know what tho
this would be decent if it wasn't in the hands of the AI
pistoliers are cracked early game
not the worst pick
Bros it’s my 20th college reunion am I legally deceased
Someone take me out back and shoot me
There are many people here with the requisite firearm expertise
Why did u even go
A guard talking back to a sister of battle
Damn the balls on that woman
I live in town
Ah turns out I gotta watch the 9th edition trailer first
Do u like it there at the reunion
Necron weaponry is terrifying
What do u even do against that
That mf one shot a space marine
How is this balanced
Where tf is the emperor
Help them bro
The sister if battle is really cute tho
Blood stain on the white hair goes insanely hard
Naaaaah this fucker is blaming the guard
Normal ass people
She is either coping or she is an asshat smh smh
The humble horse army:
I think I
Get what is going on with that guard
@storm jungle have you seen priah nexus?
Pariah*
Yeah I have.
Huh?
The way she can talk back to the sister in a way that would be considered straight up heresy
Doesn't even pick up a weappn
Stop asking questions and keep watching.
None of the hostiles target her
Done with episode 1 got no time to continue lol

Gotta sleep
Kriegs looked so good
Yeah them getting massacred was peak
Like Dein said gotta keep watching

Not that part nah
The models were cool tho
Nah it was PEAK
You are everything wrong with the 40K fanbase.
- Read no lore online at the minimum
- Simp for odd and old people... (at least not the other extreme)
- Simp for the Krieg...
Why do u hate kriegsmen...
Whatever you say

Are Arbites inspired from Judges from Judges Dredd? Also, excited for the Arbites class
Yes
It is why it is funny when they tried to copyright the "space marine". So many of the shit they made are stolen from other.
What is space marine stolen from
Entirely yeah
they were straight up ripped off
Yeah, arbites are one of those things in universe that were created in the 80s/90s when 40k was looking at stuff that was popular and went “we can do that”
only now after like 30 IRL years GW is starting to change their appearances to be less Dredd-like
Catachans are like this
What are they based on?
Popular sci-fi idea of Space Marines
Predator
I am not knowledgeable in 80s pop culture
80s US action movies
Vietnam war americans + 80's action movies like Predator
Rambo, Commando, Predator, etc.
Or pop culture in general
Ah those
The idea of macho guy in a tank top fighting stuff in the jungle
It is more the war than the movie then tho no?
It is 100% the movies.
Because actual soldiers in Vietnam never looks that buff.
It is literally a claw?!
That's sick
But still kinda awesome
What kind of creature grows a forged steel claw
It is 40k there is a lot I don't know there could be someone with a metal skeleton for all I know
Did they not rip off wolverine
Catachan has Straken*, who is a reference to Terminator, lol.
Skaven? Aren't those sigmar?
Like 90% of 40k is very derivative, they’ve been taking the last 30 years to make it more original
It did turn out pretty good tho
Most original thing in 40K is the Orks by far
Well
Even then maybe not
But they’re pretty original in terms of presentation
idk
it's like $6 outside the sale so its probably mid
but hey free shit is free shit

The Catachan Devil (Catachanu scorpiones maximus)[6] is a scorpion-like arachnid native to the Death World of Catachan, but has been introduced into several other worlds.[1a][3][5]
Devils are massive, brutal killing machines that are scorpion-like in appearance, with a series of segmented body sections carrying pairs of legs and a terminus in a ...
Yeah looked it up
Thought the devils claw was literally made from covering a claw of that in metal or smth lol
99% sure they're original because it was from the wish of a make a wish kid to tour GW, and they give them the idea of orkz can just will things as truth, but they're dumb
I'm not sure where the whole mushroom ecosystem thing came from given it's also a warhammer fantasy thing
Well
orks are not original as a species for obvious reasons
but the mushroom thing is a warhammer thing yeah
Yeah of course the concept of orcs come from Tolkien
Uruk Hai are still one of my favorite concepts of a fantasy Ork race
warhammer did come up with orks being green, though
and it was apparently by complete accident
Those krieg gas masks with skull plates on them
Do those have a real life inspiration?
Orc is not even from Tolkien 1st, it is borrowed from Anglo-Saxon with influence from Christianity.
Skulls were inspired by the bones of homo sapiens
As in, the word "Orc" is not his invention.
No shit lmao
I mean gas masks with plates on them
Cool factor
But does it have any real world inspiration at all? All of kriegs look is just WW1 stuff
There are no sources of any connection with Gas masks that had a skull plating. And it honestly takes away the intimidation factor
Yeah there doesn't seem to be
It would be damned if you think Krieg looks like a typical WW1 trench soldier.
Can't you find basically all the gear they wear in real life?
0
Actual 0
Nope...
Its inspired by real gear but fictional
Not even...
Is it one to one with a German helmet and a British gas mask
You can make a “resemblance” of the gear for cosplaying reasons but it’s not gonna be accurate
You can cosplay them using real life stuff to save money and effort from creating art accurate gear, but it is not the same.
no
the gas mask is completely fictional
non* fictional tyvm
It is all just inspo yeah...
let me guess the guy chose a random hose filter gas mask
i will look and laugh at this fool
yup
Outside of the flak armor (and obvious prosthetic). I’d argue that the Praetorian Guard comes close to using real battle dress garb.
i am correct as always
And fancy hat
in case you non gas mask enjoyers are wondering, many gas masks in history had hoses. it allows you to put the filter in a bag at your chest so the mask doesn't have to be dragged down by the weight of the filter
my GP-5 has one and it looks nothing like krieg
But we eventually transitioned to the canister filter ones right?
“Long tan and handsome”
i think it's because gas masks started being made out of hard plastic so you don't actually have it droop down on your face anymore with the weight. plus the hose is just really cumbersome
See, Krait, you are a very typical Krieg fan, know nothing more than surface level...
But don't worry, we will fix you.
We will make you marvelous like us.
the hoses still use canisters they're just in the bags
the hose is literally an extension
the imperial german gas mask
those things were single use btw. filter is part of the whole thing
yeah
you were meant to use them for a gas attack and discard
P helmet looks like its the adolescent form of gas masks, lol
the Ars is clearly just a copy of the german one
Canadian C4 gas mask and a few others have hose to drink water...
well they all are lol
The Zelinsky-Kumant got some Pinocchio action going on there
yeah idk what that thing is
Some people made extended hose so they can put water elsewhere...
but you can tell the big coffee can type filter would be pretty heavy
that's what the hoses were for
its imperial Russian thats all i can say really
Btw, non of those masks is as horrifying as the Mickey Mouse gas mask.
somehow it clearly looks like the precessor to the GP5 which is pretty cute
like the grandfather
??
was meant to make kids less stressed during a gas attack
yes it did
it was british
it was officially licensed by disney
“Hoh hoh. War crimes, bitch”-in the voice of Mickey Mouse
it's a kid's size gas mask
oh well that explains it, tramatizing their kids in a national pass time in the UK
lol
Be a pretty good prop for a horror flick
Thanks Dicis for looking for the picture.
well it's made for a kid so your horror character will be tiny
did you guys see the disney propaganda films
The one where Donald does the salute?
back when propaganda had effort smh
yeah making fun of hitler
morale boosters for american troops
I remember the old propaganda film for the “Army”
They should bring back the pin up art.
Tokio Jokio
Pin up art will 100% improve my morale.
Was one
i really like those old WW2 army education videos that are super well animated
these days you get a powerpoint presentation
that old army recruitment song was good
well i guess its not that old
Nowadays we’ll be using AI slop
yup
guh
At that point the people of opposing nations would form a truce and instead wage war on AI artists
Because they can’t get behind the propaganda, lmao
i like the US army videos about how to not be an asshole in the country your base is stationed at
Oh, you haven't see the Canadian one...
I remember that point time when they were using 2d animation to tell “Stories”
It is so fucking bad.

Never have I felt that much disappointment and wished WW3 would start
"the pub is NOT like a saloon"
Think it was like, three years ago?
“The Calling” is what it was called
i forgot that the bad example just gets fucking exploded with his mind
thats hilarious
ah, my favorite non-chaos god aligned legion
the unappreciated 9 to 5 'ers
the Iron Warriors
if perturabo is aligned with nurgle, does that make his legion aligned with him?
Its hard to tell, it would mainly be a decision of the individual. They still answer to their primarch but the IW gave two middle fingers to the Pantheon and refuse to pledge to any of the gods. If anything, the best i can say is "whatever the writer decides to make canon".
no because legion cohesion and loyalty is pretty much nonexistent as a macro-rule among chaos
individual marines might be Perturabo's Top Guy or otherwise Iron Warriors till the end, other marines hate their primarchs and would gladly swap color schemes the moment it becomes convenient
although Iron Warriors do apparently have a stronger cohesion than some other legions, they're still pretty much splintered many of them are alike only in name
The Dispute of Iron occurred from 600.M34 to 730.M34, when a vast civil war erupted on the Daemon World Medrengard amongst the Iron Warriors and rapidly spread to their other domains.[1]
Alright guys, where are my dnd nerds at?
Don't ask where, ask what.
What it do
Yall like dnd?
You can find groups online pretty easily
like just in general?
Yes, have a question in mind?
What are the mechanical differences between warlock and sorcerer, trying to decide between the two and subclasses
Warlock has very limited spell slots and only goes up to 5th level slots via conventional casting (they can get the rest via a feature), but they regenerate on Short Rest
They also have a unique feature called Invocations which give you neat features like a sword that scales with your spellcasting stat or spells you can cast for free
Sorcerer is a full caster with a spell list focused on mostly spontaneous effects and their unique mechanic is Sorcery Points, which let you modify spells in a variety of ways, like rerolling damage or discluding targets from an AOE
Both are charisma casters with d8 hitdice
Warlock hybridizes into weapons based combat much better
OH and warlock always upcasts spells
Warlock is a half caster(sorta) and you use both weapons and spells. You have limited spell slots but they come back with short rests.
Sorcerer is a full caster with all the usual spell slots and rules for that. They have sorcery points which let them modify spells in specific ways
Warlock has one of the strongest cantrip, if not just overall spell in the game, Eldritch Blast. Then otherwise, their spells usually get more bonus than other classes rather than having access to more spells.
eldritch blast™️
Rogue trader is actually stupid I just 1 turned the Defiler without touching the batteries
ah yes the my character can't do anything else but my god they are good at killing
you can get real broken real fast in RT
yeah you can do some funny shit
like
dogmatic psyker
RT is rocket tag to the max
hey you
Don't know if this has been posted or not but
i saw you in the helldivers server
Dh will be fully voiced unlike RT
im reporting you to HR
oh damn
But because of that
i think the dialogue is gonna be a bit more less in text
I'd have to find it but they also said DH will have the same amount of dialogue and choice that RT has
Tragic
skill issue
The PC will remain unvoiced like PoE or Baldur's Gate
or rt
their voice lines are just going to be like random sayings right
im really
really curious
to see the alignment system
there is so much room for incredibly interesting philosophies in DH
i think that can potentially be a major point for it if they do it well
having the story really pay attention to the sort of inquisitor you choose to be
as for me? im gonna try to be as Monodominant as i can
fuck it
Nah bro I’m gonna be a revisionist
i'll be one of Karamazov's buddies
Imo it’s prolly gona be dogmatic/iconoclast/heretic but with a radical/puritan belief selection
thats the bare bones situation probably
but still i can wish that they go hardcore with the writing
I’m going to assume the big choices won’t be tied to alignment
Also tbf
Dogmatic vs heretic in RT is very diffrent
I’d assume they’d put a lot more effort in differentiation
In dark heresy
if disco elysium can do CopoTypes and Politics, DH can pull off philosophies
thought bubble: "You really hate Xenos, don't you?"
Is my opinion tbh
yeah, philosophies are still categorized in the puritan/radical buckets
“Maybe you should have joined the Ordo xenos instead of hereticus, too late now”
i mean if you go with just radical/puritan
those are still like bad guy bad guy
a radical can be good but like you know
they can also just be utterly bad like really bad
in RT terms radicals would be both Iconoclasts and Heretic
they need a third one to really balance it out
Yeah this
this yeah
I wonder why they changed the name from benevolentia to iconoclast
But just making a third good guy alignment is good enough
Was that the original alignment name?
it is kinda weird since iconoclast is, practically speaking, the wholesome chungus good guy alignment anyway
might as well just call it "GoodGuyism"
this is the definition of an iconoclast
The only reason we consider it a good guy is because the religion we are attacking is incredibly shit
in fact they probably SHOULD have stuck with benevolentia because my friend was complaining about essentially getting scammed into going that route because he thought it was the neutral option and would be the one that lets him also be a space pirate Rogue Trader
if you're using this in a religion that say its core belief is being kind and charitable to the people you're gonna get seen as a very bad person
Yes
it was called beneovlentia originally
i think its probably iconoclast to warn players that you're going down a seditious path
beneovlentia in Latin is goodwill
and being kind
def
benevolentia is more accurate to what you actually end up doing in 40k
Benevolentia doesn't imply its a bad thing
but it is what you are in the imperiums eye
lol
Oh also fun fact
Calcazar if you work with him
but it could still blindside a player when at the end it goes "Your entire planet gets blown up because you're a renegade."
yeah but isn't he like a radical
because you know his plans
Imperium thinks he's a puritan
lol
And outwordly he presents himself as a puritan heavily
he enforces puritan policies
ect.
Ignore the
smart prick
"It will only be Heresy if I lose. And I will not lose"
a rt tabletop alignments limited to humans?
or can the xenos players get them
so do xenos have a different alignment option in rt tabletop?
fuck it benevolentia ork
not how that works
so they just don't have an alignment option?
its just a generic "acts like their race, doesn't act like their race, is literally chaos aligned"
lol
eldar obviously
cannot take the third
same with orks
its like a vibes o meter
instead of alignment
i see like least orky ork
that's willing to help people
because he just wants to kill them
later
typical
working for the crazy guy who claims he's not crazy
oh yeah like
He was genuinely good with the leading around the RT if you didn't work for him
it literally took you until the end of the game to realize his plans
i mean
the story doesnt even establish why his plan is bad, it doesnt blow up in his face like it really logically would otherwise
in fact in the Calcazar Wins ending slides he only gets killed by a teleporting Ulfar
kudos to owlcat for letting you side with him instead of some copout "no see we actually have to fight because im the boss fight sorry haha"
tbh the plan is only bad if you know 40k lore
but like his plan is very sound on paper
lol
even if it makes ending way less climactic
oh also I like the bait and switch when you defeat the shard with him
imo
where he reaches for his belt
I thought he was going to fucking shoot me
LOL
If I tell someone who doesn't know about 40K that this guy's plan is to enslave a God that betrayed the people that worshipped them
they're gonna see me as a crazy guy
but no he just goes to share some amsec with you
nono i mean like the ending slide is literally like
"And his plan was going amazing and perfect until Ulfar teleports behind him and kills him."
like lol ok
or if ulfar isnt available its like "Until he gets randomly shot in the head in a battle because that's 40k baby!"
which i actually like over the teleporting ulfar one
but ideally it'd be something like the ending slide reveals the C'Tan breaking free and atomizing him
and is burried in the von valancious catacombs
thats how id do it at least
if you don't nab ulfar iirc
tbf
the ending slide for calc does state that "As for himself, he wanted to embark as soon as possible on a search for the next C'tan Shard, but fate did not allow him to continue this grand quest."
which to me implies something went wrong
yeah, the fate not allowing him is ulfar crushing his skull in between his thighs
or the nondescript killed in battle
at least iirc its killed in battle
also i like how u can join the inquisition and the ending slide basically says that you become Heinrix's party member
and that he's a huge fan of the ol switcharoo
lol
I’ve never once sided with calcazar
Fuck you dude, if I like your plan I’ll just take it from you
There’s a zero chance my RT would trust that mf as far as he could throw him
Also can’t do ||Nomos|| ending if you side with him and he’s literally my child so
Love how my RT is like “no your plan is insane” kills him, then immediately enacts his plan
"... actually, that wasn't a bad idea"
it did bug me that pasqal kills yrliet later
not because my companions die because That's 40k, Baby!
but because my yrliet would never have lost to my pasqal
my pasqal as a chump compared to her
it shouldve been like randomized or something, who kills who
The Cadian chick in the Darktide shop right now* is said to have full set of carapace and use plasma... So she is pretty much a Kasrkin, right?
Are tyranids safe for human consumption
like
nope even kroot
This did not happen to me because I Commissar'd her ass during our first meeting
its just that its outlawed
how
in their society
Can I eat an ork
Yes
idfk
Hell I even killed that old guy who was gonna help me in his dying moments
I must know which xenos are edible
same way they can eat mildly chaos tainted stuff
only squigs\
lol
Grilled ork yum
Actual orcs are incredibly tough
Technically you can have an ork burger now
Based and Bardinpilled
poor drukhari engage in cannibalism regularly
so there's your answer on the edibility of Eldar
That doesn't surprise me lol
Tau are def edible
yeah but it would probably taste and feel like cardboard
Yeah humans to
Everything is edible if you aren't a coward
Kroot like to offer food thats safe to other races to people they like
lol
which is usually like
someones fucking arm or something
they forgot to take into account that their digestive system is differen?
no
its specifically for stuff thats edible
Kroot aren't gona offer you a space marines poison spitting gland
lol
welp ork arm it is
Grot on a stick
i am guessing that orks and gretchen would be annoying to eat and chew
Everything is edible at least once
attack squigs have a butchering guide and these guys are the most common type of squigs a human will see and encounter
Yeah she's a kasrkin
or at least looks like one heavily
bomb squigs are a specific sub species of oil squig
iirc
but oil squigs are close enough to attack squigs lol
Double quarter pounder squig burger with cheese from McGork's
at least for the modern depiction of em
nah
they're just attack squigs with a bunch of explosives stuck to them
huh
They tend to look like red balls on legs
Hopefully other races
Cause it would be fucking wild if they just offered to a Guevesa
"Hey here's a human arm"
That is wild.
Kroot Prankster channel
they're like ork level
"HEY GUYS TODAY WE'RE GONNA DO A SICK PRANK. LET'S GOOO-"
But less fuck
"I'm sorry. Your son died in the war. We couldn't find his body but.."
munch munch "Oh yeah I found it." Crunch "I saved you the head. Here you go."
Throws the son's head towards his mother
Not gonna lie. Since Mastiff will be added with the Arbites, they could also add Skitaari class with some armed servo-skull following you
the arbites class might have something similar already with the vox system they have
I mean
They’re just giving you a snack
i mean they are confirmed to be getting this
Nuncio-Aquila drone
that's what I meant
Imagine a Kroot Gordon Ramsay.
"IF I DIDN'T KNOW BETTER. I WOULD'VE ASSUMED THAT WAS STILL ALIVE! IT'S STILL FUCKING RAW!"
Morning
Yo
This really makes me wish for more Auxiliaries
Or to be more specific
More details for said Auxiliaries
Does Arbites have the authority to arrest inquisitor agent?
Cause these type of details are neat
No
if they have proof yes
Aren't the Inquistor's basically only answerable to other Inquistor's and the Emperor
Complicated
maybe it depends™️
Either way, good fucking luck trying to arrest an Inquistor
I'm sure it would go well for you

The supreme voice of the law tries to arrest the secret police outside the law
Guess what happens
I still remember the All Guardsman Party where that exact fucking thing happens
It was fucking hilarious due to the Arbite basically being Judge Dredd reincarnated into 40k
(As if the Arbites aren't already the judges copy and pasted)
Although tbf they're inquistorial agents rather than actual Inquistors
So
They are agents of the terra, they work with and not for the inquisition.
Arbites in the "Cold Shoulder" saga tho.
Peak.
Even though it looks like these are full, non-criminal Arbites
I should still note it is possible for Arbites themselves to be caught violating the law (or attempting to punish someone too powerful) and be caught in the snare of the very laws they uphold.
Shit like that happens.
(Also if these guys are full Arbites, we will definitely need to get a new intro segment, which we are indeed getting, to cover all 5 classes)
I think once an inquisitor took a platoon of Scions to take revenge on the Arbites, killed almost a whole base until a Custodian came by and deleted the Scions.
Classic non-Astartes Imperial civil war…
Does the Ordo xenos send operatives to monitor any “sanctioned” xenos activity? Like mercenary work, etc, to make sure there’s no unsavory dealings
It is a possibility
No hard yes or no
Probably varies according to individual Inquisitor's preference as well
One example - even though they were fighting Chaos - is Heinrix being sent to overtly keep tabs on Von Valancius dynasty
i finally bought my favorite legions 😌
Are there different "schools" of Psykers in warhammer? Like specializations, different "Psyker arts" in battle etc.?
yes
psykers can specialize in a discipline or combine multiple
Also those are just the most common ones and there exist many that have never really been represented or showcased
Fulmination and Promethean probably are Pyromancy
Interromancy and Verminspeaking, Telepathy
Geokinesis Telekinesis
Umbramancy could be cool to see
Using shadows to conceals strikes and such
NO
I DON'T WANT DARKTIDE KNIFE ASSASIN PSYKERS
Tbh Promethean could be the most cool if it doesn't mean fire (mythos) but rather this
||# Crab mancy||
Btw, i havent done my research so ill just ask here, is the mastiff for the new class a passive for the class or is it an ability? Basically, are you forced to rock with the dog or can you take it off?
Specifics like that we don't really know
Also ive just had my lvl30 vet talk about ratlings. The patchnotes lied.

I do like Night Gobbos and Black Orcs the most tho
More skinwolves and the ironskin tribe is all I want in a DLC
Okay then you either go grimgor or skarsnik
I suggest grimgor
If you just want to invest into black orcs
Skarsnik specializing and goblins needs you to be a bit more cunning
To win
Unless I invest in Mauler Squigs uwu
Yeah i suppose that can also work
WAAAGH!! is all youz needz wif dem beakies
Whomst is this lad?
Beorg Bearstruck
the one cacti said should be the legendary Lord
and i agree
What's his deal? Was he struck by a werebear and became one?
That's pretty rad
Chaos gift
Grimskulling it
Norsca should be pawns of Chaosbthst aren't really that far into Chaos and mostly live their pillaging life.
The Troll, the Hunter and the Merc
They actually just straight up turned him into a goff
which is interesting
he used to be evil sunz
the red complimented him much more back then
his black ish color does not work
Sayl should have been a Lord of WoC.
Valkia, Festus, Villitch and the other slaanesh dude should have been in their Monogod factions
Yeah he's kinda flat colour wise
Ghazghkull has the goff aesthetic but he looks way more colorful than the guy
going pure black and white is blegh
like goffs do primarily use black and white but they usually have specks of red and other colors to break up the monotony of their scheme
The res teeth make it pop more
it's a unspoken goff thing
pure black and white is gonna be boring add some more color on that zog
Maybe there's another thing here too
hell this is their icon
it has the black and white and red
Well more greenish looking yeah but
You get the point
that too
Okay, I do see a speckle of blood on the left shoulder, but it's not a lot
Valrak leaks so you don’t need to watch his video
Summary of the alleged rumours above;
Warhammer 40,000 - Black Templars
- heard the army is getting a new Chaplain adjacent HQ
Kill Team
- has heard that a Kill Team is coming that's Necron-themed (possibly terrain?)
Bro keeps swapping clans
Ah mb
Ok I was getting the two mixed
GW did not want to call the Orks Klans for uh
Some Ork fan I am
Obvious ones
Is the situation in RT where you can theoretically have a space marine working with several xenos as a part of the retinue (unhappily), common within other dynasties? And does it only apply to a retinue or could a rogue trader force those two forces to work together in other areas?
I know theoretically it’s possible
But I couldn’t imagine it would work out in anything larger than a retinue
Not the most uncommon thing but not super common
Forcing the two forces to work together on a larger scale is unlikely, stopping them from killing each other sure. But as an actual functional military force prolly not
Unless the rogue trader is well respected
But I’m small scale it’s plausible?
Yes
Im just trying to mush together my party’s preferred characters into a way that works, so far I have a space marine scout, a tech ganger/back alley doc, and a Ork and a Aeldari/tau (they haven’t decided yet) they are not making it easy for me
Idk how lol, my best idea is that they’re sent by a RT to help defend some planets, with the xenos as sanctioned mercenaries (idk how tau would factor into that though)
Pull the ubersreik suspension bridge
"Fuck, nids"
The bolter in this game
Is it a smaller, less perfect version of the space marine bolters?
wouldn't say less perfect, just a smaller calibre and meant for human sized hands
nope, both are .75
Full auto 50.cal is still crazy
Wait really? I thought humans used a smaller calibur variant of the bolter
It does look like a smaller gun tho
Yeah, you can see even with the smaller version, the bolters are still massive and clumsy to use
As said many times before, the bore size is not the only indication of size.
Yes, hence your gun hold 15 instead of 20 rounds.
Do explain if you dont mind explaining for the umpteenth time
Wait nvm that makes sense
Same caliber!!!!
Right right
But one is meant for pistols and the other is for general purpose machine guns
What do you mean general purpose, it is the heavy machine gun...
So reddit says Locke bolter is the most common and oldest human adapted boltgun
It is made specifically for normal humans to use?
I doubt adepta sororitas can handle space marine weaponry either
Yeah but the antagonists aren’t nids, depending on party choice it will either be GSC, Orks, or Necrons (with the non main antagonists still on stage)
Was just giving an example
if you want to search for lore info about 40k you ought to use lexicanum instead of reddit, reddit will be filled with people saying things as facts without knowing if it's true or not
Ah my bad my bad, GPMGs use standardized rifle ammo versus .50 BMG
Lexicanum says very little about specific bolter variants
I figured ork motivation is simple, wants to get some loot and into a good scrap, and these gits are just the vehicle for it
They end up forced to be on a ship
It just says Locke spearhead is an old adeptus arbites bolter pattern
They now have to deal with each other
So I guess it is made for normal human usage
Could be a freeboota or a blood axe, Aeldari are equally simple, path of the outcast
The bolt weapon is the characteristic Imperial weapon type used most famously by the Space Marines and Adepta Sororitas. They are also used in more limited numbers throughout the Imperium's armed forces, and are popular with its enemies, particularly Orks.[2] Bolt weapons are purposefully unsubtle weapons, with very obvious and bloody effects.
...
The Boltgun, also commonly referred to as the Bolter, is the standard weapon of the Adeptus Astartes and Adepta Sororitas.[19]
A .75 caliber weapon, the boltgun works similarly to a grenade launcher firing a relatively small explosive: an initial ballistic charge launches the bolt in the same way as with an autogun, after which the explosive, co...
A lone tau is slightly harder to do, maybe a offering for the start of a diplomatic effort?
Yeah I checked the boltgun page
There isn't much about the specific pattern in darktide
I can’t think of the word I want for this
Lol, Reddit says stupid shit like bolter is like an auto grenade launcher, or sometimes even automatic RPG... and they get hundred of upvote, then people take it as fact.
In 90% of the lore, bolter is strong, but never even close to grenade launcher strong.
Because there isnt anything to talk about with said variants
If it is an adeptus arbites weapon tho it must be made specifically for normal human usage unless arbites are very augmented
Ive always been confused about the bolter: on one hand, I kept hearing that the bolter was a shotgun RPG thing, the other just a singular bullet thing with explosives
Arbites are normal humans yes
The shotgun rpg thing is stupid
I have no clue where it even originated from
So the gun we have in game makes sense
It works like a conventional gun
But it has gyroget projectiles that are big and blow up
Anyhow, the Locke Boltgun is just a smaller bolter using shorter rounds.
But not blow up to the point of being good at dealing with actual vehicles and solid cover
Like you could blow apart cover with a bolter if you wanted
But it’s not very efficient lol
Scaling the mag from 20 to 15 rounds is 25% smaller.
How can this sister of battle be so pretty but so fucking annoying oh my god
What exactly is it meant to counter then?
What did they make it to fight against?
Bruh
It blows a human apart in one shot
Lasguns are already perfect
People love to use ".75Cal" because it feels bigger than it is... but it is the 20mm rounds...
For humans
Nah
Lasguns are like whatever
Bolters are a terror weapon
Marines are terror/shock troops
They are meant to scare the shit out of other humans
It shoots super heated beams with over 50 in one tiny magazine
Again, terror weapon
It is Awesome
Chainsword already does that
Marines carry like 150 rounds on their load out or less, lol.
That is a melee yes
Marines are shock troops
They’re not long term combatants
They don’t get engaged for extended periods of time
It is okay for marines big man big gun
That ruins the point
Are marines also made to fight normal humans
Yes
I mean for the great crusade yeah
If so thats overkill
Lol
That's so overkill
They are specifically made to destroy human.
Heretics?
it's pretty much their whole stich
So, heretics
Got marines dumped on them + the imperial army
Is this still all they do?
'heretics' weren't a thing when they were created
Don't they fight xenos and shit
No, now marines serve as elite shock troops
Killing xeno is just something that also fit their niche.
Now granted killing xenos also fits their niche
Phew
Because most xenos die like humans
It is literally halo spartans
Lol
But it was not the intention.
Made giant men to fight insurrectionists
Marines are also good
Alien invasion a day later
At killing like the actual horrifying things lol
The great crusade explicitly killed more humans then xenos
Which is fucking hilarious
Brother, please disconnect from my brain.
They are pretty scary
