GOD
People care about Andy Serkis playing the ONE WAY OUT guy more than smoke
for real, and dude andors walk upto her senate room is so PEAK
Snoke
haven't got a good vibe from a prison break since playing Black Ops campaign on the Vorkuta mission
Glad he got the play someone people actually give a shit about and is actually written well
Snoke was a waste of Andy Serkis
who?
Andy Serkis
LMFAO
Big Smoke
DONT MENTION SNOKE
is he from that pacific rim sequel that doesnt exist?
Most of the top Snoke gifs are Snoop Dog
Oh snoke
Legit sending me
he looks like a dying raisin
Lets just pretend it doesnt exist
at least Serkis got paid
iirc he is a failed clone of Palpatine so
Ehhhh
I think what i'd like next in a Galactic Civil War era series is explore more on the Ground Battle. Rogue One did it phenomenally. but if you can stretch that into like a 10 episode series i would love that. and it wouldn't even have to be on rebels. combine it with the first portion of Solo where he is fighting as an Imperial Army Trooper and the characters are fighting like, early seditious movements
He's basically like a lab experiment made by Palpatine
One of many
Man I wish
yeah but 9 explains where he comes from
It's not really edxplained
I love the actual military part of star wars
B1s my beloved
Can we get a star wars military game story that isn't "imperial guy realizes empire bad, defects, you now play as rebels for the rest of the game"
Squadron, battlefront 2
For fucks sake battlefront 2 story was ass
the starfighter battles will always be one of Star Wars' Foundation. but show more of the ground pounders who have to be in the shit fighting dirty.
Wish they gave us a choice between defecting and staying loyal and if you don't defect you play the rest of the game as Hask
But that's too much work multigazillion dollar company
cant have that as star wars is about the heroes
Not the first battlefront 2 making you literally play the order 66
Can we go back to that
I am sick of the rebels
The Revenge of the Sith game let you play as Anakin on Mustafar and featured an alternate ending where he wins the duel
i actually would like more clones despite the massive amount of animated clone content available
as a kid, I emulate the Rebels. as an adult you realize, "damn dirty Rebel Scum".
Disney star wars is about heroes*
yeah
oh man that takes me back
never heard of that
They are BORING
They aren't boring when they are like in rogue one and andor, otherwise they are BORING
yeah the last time they tried to make something villain centric they ended up with that sith guy in acolyte flexing his muscles in a pond
Amazing
Based
Looks better than shirtless Kylo at least
how is Disney able to make such shit shows and such amazing ones?
Acolyte was a lot better than people made it out to be
yeah. cause the movies revolve around the A-team. But if they really want to nail the rebel infantry aspect right? you gotta bring in Twilight Company
Yea
cancelling it was a weak decision
because they have a weird way of approving scripts
their fucking quality is all over the place
kinda like being a buffet
Cuz some are made by people who just wanna tell a good story and use star wars a device for that
And the others just want the easy paycheck and are too high up for anyone to tell them to fuck off
what do they just loaded a bunch of them in an air cannon and approve the ones that land nearest to the target?
They wasted Oscar Isaac on the sequels bruh
We will never see him and Pedro in the same movie

Yea, the show had some issues, but it was better than the latest season of Mando and a second season could have worked on it and improved so much.
they tarnished a lot of actors/actress reps in the sequel trilogy
They knew they weren't gonna improve it so they just gave up
yeah
literally that
Yeah it's a shame people don't let shows grow anymore, it just has to be the best from the get-go or it'll be seen as a waste
It also shouldn't be dogshit tho
I dont want the acolyte going anywhere near yoda ngl
Yoda is like 900 years old
He has been near everyone
Fuck the shows when are they releasing eclipse
he can stay away from the acolyte show , he got great stuff in the clone wars
who tf is eclipse
they never went back did they
and then never heard of again
hah. kinda reminds me of that old starcraft ghost trailer where it would be a 3rd person shooter
there is a new xcom style sw game coming out
its got like clones and umbarans
and a droid i guess
and a jedi i think
ah...the Vietnam story arc of the Clone Wars
no this time, the umbaran guy is on your side
hes on your team
"There's a war you don't see.The one fought in the shadows. The war beneath the war.”
Command an elite squad through a gritty and authentic story set during the twilight of the Clone Wars in STAR WARS Zero Company™, a single-player turn-based tactics game developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Gam...
Has there ever been a good umbaran?
oh yeah this one. it always brings joy to my heart seeing a clone and a mandalorian fighting side by side
Looked so cool
They really just
Took every single star wars stereotype
star wars fucking loves the small cast of rejects accomplishing a bigger goal
that's like half the episodes of clone wars
A Jedi, a scoundrel, a clome trooper, a mandalorian and an astromech walk into a bar
That's like the entire franchise
not to my knowledge. they had that one senator who was on the Republic Senate during the Clone wars. after he got assassinated, the Umbarans as a whole seceded
nah
yeah
the prequels were just a stellaris match
but its xcom style, so the gameplay should be good
well
kinda
it can be really bad, its ea star wars
but Im gonna play it, im a sucker for xcom type games
They made battlefront 2, they always cook with gameplay
And Jedi games
the pendelum swings 50/50 for me on EA, so we'll see
but somewhere out there, there is another galaxy who got to enjoy and play the cancelled Star Wars battlefront 3 game
I really wanna play squadrons on vr
battlefront 2 had like riots on launch, the gameplay is good yes, but you needed some insane hours in the game or something to unlock vader before
EA shines when regurgitating old stuff is the good part of the game
that wasn't relegated to a psp
Yeah they fixed that
The gameplay itself is still awesome
Only issue is the dogshit servers
also ive heard the campaign is trash too
The campaign was real fun in the first half
not saying the game is bad, i like bf2 multiplayer, but theres definitely a lot that can go wrong with ea sw
can't even do full on pvp matches. best you get playing with other people are those PvAI multiplayer matches
I loved being imperial special forces and not "rebel hero who climbed the ranks real fast #28488482"
It did help bridge the gap between rotj and tfa
luke, use the white privilege
The expansion story is ass tho
Nah I get full lobbies
But very high ping spikes
all Battlefront 2 taught me was Luke. and its hard knowing as i go "look how they massacred my boy..."
Hated all the hero parts of the campaign
I like female aqualish sniper she is cute
Playable iden versio in multiplayer is the imperial version lmao
Hearing her act all devoted and loyal is jarring
Bf2 has my queen phasma it is a good game
BF2 campaign should have had you defect from the Empire and try to stop Operation Cinder, but without joining the Rebellion.
It should have had you play as Hask hunting down iden
Because it's so fucking jarring that your defect from the Empire because you learn that Operation Cinder is going to kill your fellow Imperials, then you join the rebellion and instantly start murdering your fellow Imperials
so glad they use they the bony teeth mouth appearance. if they went with Ponda Baba's design from episode 4 in that cantina scene, it'd look they have a pair of buttcheeks for a mouth
I loved Hask he was so charismatic
that looks like a guy ik
She defected because they killed her home planet
And imperial civilians
Rebellion doesn't attack civilians
i have a feeling gerrera has definitely killed some folks tbh
They glassed her home planet, that was a pretty reasonable defection
There is a reason he is not in the rebellion
Bro is a loose cannon
I just hate that we stopped playing as the empire after that
No she defected when she realised Operation Cinder was targeting loyalists including her planet, up until that point she was fine with it because she thought it was going to target rebels
SWITCH US TO HASK
also the jedi dont like aggression and are protectors of the peace , until Jedi Master Ki Adi Mundi starts telling people to bring out the flamethrowers
Yeah she hated rebels
Yea, so like I said. She should have defected and tried to stop Cinder, but not joined the Rebels
But she didnt realize that they were gonna glass every imperial planet with civilians on them
They don't outright show it easily. I'm just saying both sides have their extremists who will do everything to win. which is why i take it with a grain of salt
Operation cinder wasn't even to win it was just palpatine having a stick up his ass
It was so unnecessary
Having appointed Anakin to their ranks, the Jedi Council discuss the pressing matters of the war.

Yea it was basically his punishment to the Empire for failing to protect him
and the people who carried it out were too dumb to realise that
and just assumed it was part of some great plan
Bro was sitting on a chair and got dumped by Vader
It was literally no one's fault but his
No one else had anything to do with Vader bruh
Yea but it was a failsafe incase he died in general
Virgin Emperor Palpatine vs Chad Captain Gilad Pellaeon
It was automatically triggered when he died
all the expanded sw content hasnt been kind to ki adi mundi, there are entire episodes of the clone wars dedicated to dooku murdering fools during it and mundi is just like " He's a political idealist, not a murderer"

and since the purpose of the Empire was to keep him alive, him dieing means they failed
So he wanted them punished
Why did anyone even go along with it tho
Emperor is gone, there is literally no reason to listen to it
Move on
devotion
They assumed it was part of a grand plan
Elect a new emperor
"elect"
That's what they did in Legends
it also sucks sometimes they show Windu as a hardass, but i consider him to be one of the top Lightsaber duelists in the order
Election makes the most sense
he can be both tbh
he is actually the best duellist I think no? top two
the clone wars even make sure windu kicks ass, man was taking down entire droid battalions by himself
In Legends they eventually chose Jagged Fel to be the new Emperor
but in canon somehow Palpatine returned!
legends he returned like 20 times or something
didnt he have like an entire lab of himself
well i've noticed and (delving into my nerd side). when he fights palpatine, Windu has the advantage. Its brief but i can tell Palpy is switching between different lightsaber forms. more so, it was to his advantage as Palpatine didn't really like using lightsabers. He is more struggling while Windu is giving the most coldhearted stare down at mr Wrinkles
I have no clue why they thought it was a good idea to try and copy Dark Empire
that is the face of "was gonna crack a few cold ones with the boys...But now i have to crack a few boys with my cold ones"
Dark Empire was ass
character who's known for being samuel l jackson and purple lightsaber
i think its popularly accepted that windu is easily a cut above all the other jedi duellists, except maybe yoda, iirc it was even said by lucas that he did straight up beat palpatine in that duel, there was no fuckery by palps to intentionally lose
indeed. Were it not for slavery skill issue Anakin Skywalker stepping in and cutting Windu's hand off. it really would've turned out differently
isn't it stupid that his lightsaber is purple due to him being a good fighter which means jedi reward warriors or smth
i thought these guys liked peace and shit
then again. the council is just as fault for not really helping Anakin in his crisis
and the era of the Old Republic was something else too with the Jedi, good times.
i like how "a more civilized time" was interpreted as meaning there were way more jedi back in the day
"slavery skill issue"
lmao
wild to me how every frame of the first movie is basically its own spinoff lore
every side character
every random ass line some coked up writer added
to think this is a character in the "high era" of the republic
and i thought dumb naming schemes was GW's profession
concept art of a fucking rock
New TC art by Mark Gibbons
im glad the board can agree on the rock character
from the Vintian species
thanks to this helpful drawing which we paid for
otherwise we wouldn't know what a rock is
granted, legends did have its own fair share of weird characters. like WARU. but at least it was a damn rock
nope. just a big ol block.
kinda like that Tofu block character from the Resident Evil games
would a 5 tonne boulder defeat palpatine
depends
I'm sure they'd write that in somehow
Does the boulder have prep time?
i think the death star falling on palpatine cant kill him
3 million years
the boulder practically pioneered prep time
the boulder predates jedi
palpatine walking on the big red X and han solo letting go of the pulley rope holding up the comedically large boulder hanging over him
I could beat palpatine with a bar of soap
just recount the tales of Darth Plagueis the Wise but emphasize how much of a little b*** Sidious was of slitting his master's throat instead of doing a 1v1 with his master
me walking confidently towards palpatine with my electrical protection suit
yeah just gotta be real with palps
he doesnt like it when people attempt to DESHEEEV him
man who conned the entire galaxy
Man it's so hot in those
Love how extra Palps was, he was even more so in Legends
that's because you're so hot already
Like basically all of his personal staff working for him when he was chancellor were secretly working for Sidious, without knowing anyone else was working for Sidious and not knowing that Palpatine was Sidious.
a donut hole within a donut's hole
you know what I hate about new sw media, everytime im viewing something and even a remotely new character appears and leaves my first thought instead of watching the show is, " oh yeah this side character is gonna get their own show and prequel now about how they became a nerf herder at this point in their life"
They all thought they were the secret mole in the Chancellors office
they were playing secret hitler except they're all nazis
I think it's Outbound Flight where he as Palpatine is in a call with his secretary giving him the instructions for what to do, then the call ends and he immediately calls him again as Sidious and gives him the secret evil instructions
do you think he had to transform full animorphs style every time he did the voice
Na he just pulled up the hood in those days
dude puts on the hood, punches himself in the throat, and starts talking.
pretty much all there is to it when switching personas
clone wars is pretty decent with that
Vader is overrated
who asked
he does evil smirks and has nasty glints in his eyes when hes in sheev mode without putting the hood up whenever some shit he likes is going down
oh yeah, i remember he practically went on sabbatical to deal with Maul and Savage on Mandalore. old dude was just having the time of his life without breaking a sweat
that is my fav fight in the entirety of clone wars
they did a great job with making him appropriately insanely strong in that fight
Duel from The Clone Wars S05E16.
he could have been the strongest guy in the galaxy if sith were't forced to be comedically evil
well if you really wanna hate palpatine just watch andor, finish it, and then realize all this shit went down because of one dudes scheming
I like the lore bit that Palpatine isn't even that great of a duellist compared to the previous Sith because he thought lightsabers and duelling was a waste of time
Yet he still bodies everyone he fights
Is it still canon that Palpatine attempted to replace the rule of two with the rule of one?
isn't he the best force user
Basically
he kept replacing his apprentices pretty much, or tried to
He wants to be the immortal and rule forever
more like best groomer when it came to anakin. where's chris hansen when you need him?
At some point, you gotta wonder why even have apprentices
To do shit for you
to be fair, you see here what he does with anyone he considers a rival
Ye, but you don't need an apprentice for that
"you have done well my apprentice..." "Bi*** all you made me do was get a sandwich for you"
An Apprentice is just a slightly more powerful mook
it will look good on your padawan resume yessss
imagine sith got nicknames based on their actions
darth vader? no that's darth childmurderer
Darth IBS.
fart
darth tyranus is a nice name though, dooku got that title and was like " yes, im on the right side"
dooku in clone wars is pretty nuts with the duels yeah
man cant be beat pretty much
unless some drunk pirates capture him
and then when you see in Jedi fallen order and survivor, two of the antagonists can still use a lightsaber without their hands
those curved lightsabers go so fucking hard though
yeah
the curved hilt ones?
ye
true
everything except the helicopter blades is great with the sabers
the helicopter blades are like, damn grievous could have been flying like a literal helicoper all this time
HELICOPTER HELICOPTER
" GENERAL KENOBI"
If I remember rightly the Revenge of the Sith novelisation goes into the duel more, it basically talks about how one of Dooku's favourite strategies was forcing his opponents into fighting in the opposite style they're comfortable with, but Anakin and Obi Wan are aware of this and basically start the fight using the opposite styles, so when he forces them to switch they go to their favoured stances and begin to overpower him.
he enters every scene giggling and chuckling
like a maniac
then leaves it by either running away or murdering some hobo jedi
yeah. Kenobi was more proficient in form 2(defense) so Dooku often forced him into taking offensive attacks since he'd fight aggressively on Anakin who wasn't as good with form 2
The Revenge of the Sith novelisation is actually really good
ok the show makes him into a Saturday cartoon villain
that moment when you realize a bunch of Gungans managed to incapacitate Grievous in under five minutes
It knows that you've seen the movie, so it basically just gives you alternate POV's for each scene to show you things you don't know
but i like him regardless
if you like dooku , which I do, i highly recommend the tales of the jedi episodes about him
its him as a jedi pretty much
its an S-tier for me when it came to Dooku's story
and his subsequent fall
gives him a lot of context and they characterized him and the other jedi pretty well imo
does it explain why he found himself commanding an army of orks against the forces of mordor
gondor
i never understood that part of lore
well, he got greedy
Goondor
The fakest of fans
and power hungry
He leads Uruks vs Rohan you fool
LOL
the uruk hai
indoctrinated
apparently there were t-shirts for the many extras that had to be filmed during the Battle of Helms Deep because that took the longest of shooting takes
count dooku addressing the seperatist forces
i need to find the edit where he does the speech but there is absolutely nobody there. its just silence as he's talking and Grima's expression of him realizing he sided with a nutcase this whole time
saruman truly is a nutcase ngl
like theres so many characters who just end up looking at him with pity
like " oh you poor demented old bastard"
https://youtu.be/JaI9muTgg3w?si=yAEsFB9kVf2E1ctsm i found it, lmao
or like nobody can hear him because he's absurdly high up and there's wind
Jimmy in the ranks "what's he saying? oh oh were shouting now RAHHHH!"
yeah i never got how that worked in rl too, like they did give pre battle speeches in rl to large armies, and I cant imagine even 60% of the troops hear it
yeah, think thats what they did with the Rohirrim
on the most epic charge of cinematic history
yeah but what about like, the speech itself, did a runner go down the ranks telling them " The king is saying "RIDE, RIDE FOR RUIN AND THE WORLDS ENDING"
and some other guy on the side like, repeat that bro, what did the king say? and the runner is like " RIDE, RIDE FOR RUIN AND THE WORLDS ENDING"
i think they just didn't do speeches to all men at once
maybe a couple of groups at a time
and then we gotta yell "DEATH" in five minutes
i like your portrayal of ancient armies being full theatrical
like they all rehearse the lines
presentation is just as important
You just have to hype up the 1st few ranks, the rest will return
they spend days practicing the chant together
well,I imagine theoden was practicing in the mirror in his tent on all night, like ""hmmm what would get the men going? ..hmm,.ah yes " DEATH" here...some of the usual cries for freedom..."THE end of the world is a good one yeah" what else..hmm"
ok guys one two three sing with me
and another thing on speeches. you see Gandalf riding to Isengard and at the same time you hear Saruman narrating the whole thing as he's going down the steps. So it got me thinking, was he just doing this over and over but kept going back up when he didn't see gandalf yet?
no no i hear a wrong note somewhere
like "i need to time this right!"
like I can imagine some dudes in the back of the ranks can hear the king giving a speech but cant hear the words, so they are just looking at each and going like " is it time yet? do we start charging?"
and the other guys like "wait stfu, im trying to listen"
and then 10 seconds later, the guy is like " how about now? can we charge?"
i get that impression when i watch the ending of the 300 film. like, no way 10,000 spartans could time their "A-HOO" like that if one guy is in the front shouting
unironically this is what musicians were for in combat
with their big drums to set tempo
they are still used for marching
and musicians are also used in ships with oars, the tempo is used to synchronize rowing
https://tenor.com/view/guitar-mad-max-fury-road-electric-guitar-rocking-out-jamming-gif-3389097859580245812 Coma Doof Warrior was definitely keeping in tempo alright
This movie, man... I've never seen a movie with this amount of action. And whats even more amazing - most of that action is not CGI!! This film is the true defenition of great action film in every aspect! 11\10
(6 oscars btw)
Movie info:

Credits goes to: Warner Bros. Pictures, Village Roadshow Pictures.
Mo...
hearing the roar of the engines was an experience in theaters
truly the guitarist is "you will never be as metal as this"
is the new one good
i think it was okay
its good, its not anywhere as good as the first one
the action is still great
but apart from that not much else
the flyers was a unique angle
most of the time its just ground vehicles on "road wars"
I wouldnt say its even close to being as good the first one, but if you liked the first one, id recommend watching it
did you guys play the game
yeah
it's not bad
yeah, pretty decent
i really liked the game, and im sad it didnt do very well
the sound design is great
do like the creative freedom of your vehicle
and it hits the original trilogy vibes way harder than the new movies
the story was garbage, but the world building was insane, as was the action, the flames, gastown, the literal feeling of driving your pimped out ride over the desert
actually made me care about the humpback
also the melee combat was really good
i think it serves the character. i love how max never gives a fuck
Isn't the gameplay pretty much Batman Arkham
still remember watching the first mad max film as a teen. hearing the sound of that engine for the first time of the V8 Interceptor was like liquid gold pouring out of my speakers
the game just got a little repetitive, but i think they got so much foundational stuff right it should have gotten a sequel
ye
again, sound desig
i love the engine sounds
the sand storms were neat too
from the visuals
also i love the great white waste, it truly got that fantasy of this really massive desert and the lone warrior
also i was surprised how nice the trash heaps and oil pools around gastown looked
i agree though it got a little too repetitive
the stuff they had in the game reptitive yeah, too many samey missions, too many outposts, too much fetch shit
needed more narrative stuff
also max gets pretty over the survival stuff once you get upgrades
dont need to scavenge water and oil anymore
at least you can run over the water nomads
i love the way max is constantly treating the humpback like shit
did you ever kill all enemies and leave the hanging drum guys alive
also combat took a lot from arkham, ( which is a good thing) but his animations in combat are so perfect
yeah LOL they start complaining and crying
least he told him to "get off" before ramming the vehicle at the end with chumbucket on it
also i love the design of fire in this game
even blowing up cars makes them catch some nice looking fire
dude i waited a solid 15 minutes before the final button press in case i got the option to not kill him
nah hes a buffoon
did feel sympathetic for the poor lad, even if he was off his rocker.
i saw him laying down after ramming it and went "oh thats not too bad" then the fuel caught fire and BOOM
hed do great in the admech now that I think about it
it's based on australia
the daily life of an australian
goated movies made by a goated australian director about australia
oh fuck that reminds me
george miller
did anybody else's brain constantly fart with the right hand drive cars
in the game
i played it during covid. i remember because i was watching monument mythos when it had just started
what is that?
before it blew up and shit
think that was a horror webseries
let me give you the experience i had
havent seen it

on the topic of horror someone told me to watch midnight mass , they said its pretty good
getting this random recommended no context on youtube
Jay going "we have such sights to show you"
just watch that and you'll get how fucking confused i was
Think the only thing i remember watching was Liberty Lurker
this sounds like a vaati video so far
it was cool because it had like 1000 views and nobody knew wtf it was about
it was like finding some weird corner of the internet
lol
SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT THIS IS LMAO
now you are in the rabbit hole buddy
it goes deep
this series is like discovering something you shouldn't know
its
interesting me and unnerving me at the same time
like I wanna watch it but throw my laptop at the wall
that's such a fascinating thing when it comes to horror. Our minds are like wired to approach it that way. you know you shouldn't watch in fear of what you don't know. but there's that instinctual desire to peek in just...a...little...more
there's several videos in the series where you have to rewatch several times to get something
and the horror hits you
Archivist's Note:

this one will send you chills man
im not saying anything
Monument Mythos poggers
yeah thats how I feel about my gf ngl
this series is so random lol
he has other series but monument mythos is his big one
yeah im not watching more
aw
I cant go insane
my sanity is already at its limits
a voice in my head tells me this is not a good idea
scramble it all, delve deep into the rockerfeller trees
half the country is alkatraz island
I have a friend who did a total deep dive into alan dulles, like really deep
he still hasnt recovered
you know what's been said about art
art is meant to disturb the comforted and comfort the disturbed
I once had a dream where I saw immortan joe in my bathroom mirror behind my shoulder, he gave me like a pep talk
never saw the new mad max movies but if immortan joe is like any of the warlords from the old ones, i dont think he is someone you should get a pep talk from
yeah i know he is a warlord
i love how he doesn't even have any valid reason to restrict the flow of water like a limited supply
he's just an asshole
isnt the whole point of mad max that all the water is gone?
he has a place that has water
apparently they had an unlimited aquifer
which he does restrict, because hes an asshole
all the oceans evaporated, it rained for years then all that dried up
he could have just let the water go constantly
they got trees too
the water is clearly treated too
huh
btw the furiosa movie gets into that
the water in the Citadel and the trees
its a prequel so its got info about it
i didn't care much about the breaks in the action of the 2017 movie because boring but the grannies kicked ass
was sad when they died
keanu is getting old man
i think
he looks like hes in his late 20s
bruuuh
LOL
he was in movies since the 90's
ik ik
They're making a new one (not Ballerina) 💀
really? its not ballerina?
but like clearly he isn't as young as he was in wick 1
il prob watch ballerina at home, not going to the theatres, im not particularly excited
Ballerina is a prequel, but I've heard that JW 6 and even maybe 7 are planned or something
maybe he'll do a jason statham and do action movies forever
And another spin off about the blind dude
well, cain is fine
but i think john wicks gotta be over lol
hes had enough screentime
they were already getting more and more mythical with him running around in the desert gunning down bedouins or something
in a suit no less
Ok so it's JW 5 is confirmed, JW 6 is rumoured but KR has expressed reservations
Even in John Wick 1 he was looking kinda old. The long hair, professional makeup and facial hair helps hide that, but he wasn't exactly young and it showed.
jason statham signed a deal with the devil so he gets to do action movies forever but he's cursed with baldness and british
stathams action movies are also notoriously like
" Im the beekeeper"
"im the mechanic"
"im the librarian"

i love crank so much
his next movie is literally called " Working man"

Human Traffickers Beware. Watch the trailer for #AWorkingMan, starring Jason Statham and from ‘The Beekeeper’ director David Ayer. See the movie only in theaters March 28.

About Amazon MGM Studios: Amazon MGM ...
god i love him so much
he's never disappointing
embrace the B list and do movies every year
the man has personal natural charisma maxed out to like 10000
even in movies that are shit, hes never boring
and in good movies hes good
also
the meg is based
I liked him Bee Keeper
yeah but have you seen the meg
Yes
Funny that the actor who plays Dwight Schrute from the Office is in that one
Does he work
probably
What did you lot think of Nobodies ?
im pretty sure he knows its a formula, and thats why its probably just called working man
But beekeeper are one of the few I like. How he punishes those scammers
Nobody is getting another film released this August, looks fun
thats his formula, he's just a former action type whos doing some blue collar job keeping his head low
then he gets dragged into action or goes into it for justice
He used to be a dancer
hes a legend, CRANK IS THE GOAT
also jason statham got his start in some of the best movies ever made, guy ritchie films
he works pretty frequently with guy ritchie on some really good films , thats basically how he became famous the first time
One of My favorites from Guy Ritchie’s films is The Man From U.N.C.L.E
im always surprised when the it's always sunny actor appears
crank is 2000's condensed into a movie
this movie is nonstop entertainment lol
it's trolling before trolling
like it decides to be extremely cinematic for 2 minutes
then goes back to wacky
that's crank 2
your gonna start with like one of the best british films ever made
lock stock and smoking barrel by guy ritchie
that movie made him famous, and guy ritchie famous
speaking of british movies i finally got the chance to watch 28 days later after 8 years of searching
havent seen it still
they probably released it from the cage because the new one is coming out
why does it not exist anywhere
but it was unfindable
where did you find it
it's everywhere now
I STILL REMEMBER DVDS SMH
theres a weeks later?
So many websites I can't mention the names of...
yeah the one that had the music that was reused in every fan made zombie youtube movie in the 2000's
gave me nightmares as a kid
28 days later
They skipped 28 months later...
you could find weeks everywhere but days was locked away
28 months is already into years territory so
basically in 1 it's only britain that's affected and in 2 at the end the virus goes international. not big spoilers
you know , you're right, I give up lol
28 years later will be with the entire earth devastated
Will it reach space in 28 decades later
idk how they'll make it work since the zombies die of hunger after a week
it's stated in both movies
yep let's never forget that this is his first apperance on screen
dancing in leopard print underwear in the background of a music video
im seduced
also isnt he married to that absurdly hot supermodel from transformers 3
Why is he oiled up
She was mid
it only makes sense
yeah her
the most unrealistic part about those movies was how sam witwicky pulled both her and megan fox
yeah but not in that role LMAO
Well, Megan didn't want to do Transformer 3, so they have to find a replacement... by making a whole new cardboard character...
btw
Check please! Chev (Jason Statham) takes out a hitman by cutting off his meaty hand first.

my fav scene
pure cinema
shoots him with his own hand
the one who played carly in the third film was terrible
michael bay is the old style of misogynist who doesnt try to hide it lol
I don't know what I can grade bellow "cardboard"...
dirt?
Pay some respect to the dirt.
think the only non transformers film i liked from Michael Bay was 13 hours
armageddon
ohhh steve buscemi was fun in that one
The Rock is pretty good.
oil driller saves planet
It is a classic.
indeed always loved movies that have Sean Connery in it
Trump wants to reopen that prison, time to make The Rock 2.
I like the fan theory that The Rock is an unofficial James Bond film. Since it has Sean Connery playing an MI6 spy.
And a Red Alert4 game featuring Alcatraz
(Was in Red Alert 2 Yuri’s Revenge)
Like "what if James Bond got caught, had to do prison time and had to do a deal with the American government for his freedom?"
Could take place in the universe, without being Bond himself per se
why would the US jail him
someone still hated the lobsterbacks i guess
Friends are the easiest place to steal tech from
Since you are supposed to be allies
No one would suspect you too much
mob of the dead...good times
nobody asking why the new CIA intern has a british accent
peak
i like how the amount of bullets they each unload exceeds the gun's actual capacity
nerd
takes one to know one👍
It is not my tax money, I don't care.
Pistol extended mags are a thing, but sadly not rendered in in the graphics.
Extended mag for revolver is a wunderful thing!
Ah yes I missed that on first viewing lol
pregnant man emoji
Maybe they are all Revolver Ocelot in disguise.
this is what they couldn't render in the cinematic, lol
It can still only shoot 6 times...
pack a punch be like
Kel-tec for sure
Could be off screen reloading unless it is a massive long scene shot in which case, yea.
Cutscene power
grasping at straws
I try to not think to much about it...
12-shot revolvers are a thing too. There's really no reason why the cylinder couldn't be even bigger, other than being too unwieldy for a one-handed weapon.
It is hard for me, but I have to do it sometimes.
To much dead weight and wasted space in the middle...
Also heavier trigger pull the bigger it is.
At some point a cylinder become to cumbersome and you're better off having belts
Kind of defeating all of the purpose of a revolver.
what purpose
Having a spinny thing
being obsolete
aw
insert disintegrating emoji gif
As a question
Is there something in 40k that's basically like this?
Revolver carbine
Classic.
ask wolf
Isn't that something some of those admech on horses use?
Yeah I kinda remembered that the admech uses them
But I forgot the actual fucking name of the gun
Admech horse riders have something that look like that iirc.
Phosphor Blast Carbine something

This would be fucking cool as shit to use in Darktide
Sadly, it would probably kill us because of the radiation.
Phosphor doesn't cause radiation damage
The revolver shotgun from the Krieg is one of the closest thing to that.
I think the admech also has something similar.
That's not even the final form of German machine pistols. For a while they experimented with a Luger that came with a drum magazine as well as a stock.
I swear German engineering is literally just
"shit gotta cobble something together"
Have you seen the guy who made an AK styled Luger?
"HANS. WHAT SHOULD WE DO??"
Brits with the sten gun.
Like the German wonder weapons alone shows how
A) Hitler was a dumbass (shocker)
B) god damn did it waste a lot of resources
The Luger Pistol is a real beautiful, handsome and awesome weapon.
All parts are interchangeable between world war one and world war two - it is amazing!! The Luger pistol is the only weapon with an outside toggle top action except the former C 93. What ever you can't do with other pistols - you are able to do it with a Luger pistol....
Thank...
NGL, but the Sten gun is probably my favourite gun because of how silly and simple it is.
I find it funny that in the waning hours of the 4th Reich.
They basically stole the sten gun design but made the magazine vertical
The MP3008
I do love carbine pistols
That's just a Luger with AK furniture put on, nothing AK about it...
Grease gun is more accurate
so ugly looking compared to the MP40
I think in general those groups of weapons are called "Last Ditch Weapons".
And honestly, for some reason I have a weird fascination with them
Because like
Funny enough, there was an American in the 80s who took a Sten gun, removed the trigger and attempted to sell it.
In a weird sense it shows the absolutely desperate mindset they had.
Literally, once you released the bolt, you couldn't stop it firing until it ran out of ammo.
but this one here? she was a beauty for its time
American contraption...
Going against all logic and just cobbling together something in desperation.
Like a kid who hasn't studied for a test putting random bullshit in the last five minutes, hoping to get something right
Australian Owen gun is really well loved.
Mp40 is a beauty too
Among the tube guns alike.
Almost iconic really
Shame it's successor couldn't live up to it.
Was always drawn to these ones. I guess i found the wood parts of it appealing
The idea of "is this meta" conversations are popping into my mind, but instead of "is XXX autogun meta" it's "is the Ytterythium Pattern XXI galvanic revolver rifle meta" and I find that fucking hilarious for some reason.
Thompson is interesting because it started as a "bad guy" type of gun but then switched to a "good guy" type of role also
Well, the MP5 joined the game by the time the F1 got into service...
The sten gun design itself was copied from germans to begin with.
Also the fucking stupid US with their forcing 7.62x51 down everyone throat.
Is the Tommy autogun in Darktide?
Also another interesting part is how it was
Extremely expensive. The WW2 version is stripped down but it was also found too expensive.
The USA kept using them which shows how much of an economic powerhouse it was but eventually got replaced with the grease gun.
AKA "metal tube that shoots bullets"
contagious mental disability was rampaging through the US Ordnance Bureau at that ttime, I apologize
no but. there was a mini for the Cadian Sergeant that holds something similar
The Autopistol in Darktide looks more like the Beretta M12S or the M4 Spectra.
The Sten Gun was also made because it was too expensive to keep buying Tommy guns
Tommy guns are expensive SOBs
The Laser ACR from Fallout is essentially a laser tommygun and I kinda wish 40k had the same thing
One good thing from that is the closure of the state owned Springfield Armory for the sheer incompetent.
the only energy weapon i used besides the aer14, lmao
well now i can be a knight in HD2
Personally, I love the Gatling Laser.
Basic bitch ass choice I know but it's just nice to have a gigantic gun that shoots out red (or green for the spertl wood) death
There's also the Lanchester, that was basically an MP18 copy in the Royal navy's service.
I remember reading about Springfield closing, and being like "NO! What?! What a historic institution!" Then reading about what they actually did, and wishing they had been shuttered sooner. What incompetent bozos.
spertl wood modification was fun
so many holes
The M14 program set the US military back years, and fucked the euros for decades.
You know that it is bad when both the USMC and the US Army tried to run away from Springfield Armory...
Keeps the barrel cool.
Fallout 4's Gatling Laser is probably one of the few gun designs that I actually like more than 3's.
Though I also like the Classic design weirdly enough
They wanted the 7.62x51, but they can't even make a good gun for that cartridge.
I like that, and the Rocket Launcher from 4.
All of the M14 variants that lived were basically... we have 10k of those rifle, what else can we do with them???
Rare good F4 design that doesn't just ape from Adam Adamowicz (rest in peace, king)
RIP the FAL.
It just wasn't your time yet...
only time i ever saw the m14 in a positive light was when Randy Shughart used it in the battle of Mogadishu against the drugged up militia
Well, the FAL were everywhere, with so many variants across the world...
The M14 actually wasn't bad either. It just fucked over the Europeans until we decided to make the M16
Yep.
Which probably made them groan in disappointment
"NOW YOU WANT SMALLER CALIBER GUNS HUH??"
I wish the UK just adopted the EM2.
And just recently we returned to bigger caliber guns
Fancy
I remember that
Most of the SA (acronym did not age well) series were actually good
Except the L85
L85A1*
The L85A2 is ok.
Out of all 7.62nato rifle of the 60, the FAL is the only one still in production as a service rifle, that an testament for its manufacturing design and practical use.
are hybrid weapons real, like when they take shit out of a suitcase and just slide in some parts on their pistol and turn into a rifle
I like the 🇨🇦 's take on the FAL, with the stripper clips.
Kind of...
It didn't get the limelight
But it's still good and it's still hanging kn
And prevalent
Maybe in the US, most of the world were using it.
I think it still is prevalent
FAL DMR is a big thing, too. Though, not as good as the CETME/G3 variants.
I remember seeing one with airport guards
Also the first time I saw a real gun
It's
Almost strange how they kind of look like toys
the ork hybrid guns
based
"These are gigantic"
ork tech is so based
I mean, you say that it didn't get the limelight... even though back then it was called "right arm of the free world"...
I think that's when I first understood what a gun actually was
Blame my USA based education

It was way more popular than the M14 was.
this one is my favorite, its meant to be like an an Anti tank weapon but its just an explosive attached to a metal pipe
Tbf not that far off from old anti tank weapons

BIG STABBA is the best
In a world without dakka
Substitute with slasha and stabbas

@summer mural If you use high powder cartridge like the "magnum" ones, you can turn some handgun into rifle while increasing the ballistic power.
big stabba can oneshot khorne
like unironically?
.44 mag DE rifle kit comes to mind.
does it actually work
Not a joke. 44mag works best in a 16-20 inches barrel if you want the most optimal ballistic from it.
They call it carbine... but whatever...
looks like something i'd see a seven year old draw on his math worksheet in class
There are other stuff like removing the slight of a handgun then put the lower in a carbine/rifle slide.
If you use powerful ammo like the 10mm auto, you are getting some noticeable firepower increase.
The Desert Eagle is more or less a rifle LARPing as a pistol, since its internal mechanism is much closer to a rifle than a pistol.
Naked Gun 2. Gun Assembly scene. OJ Simpson. Rooftop shootout.

Heckler & Koch's "Operational Briefcase" is a clever system for covert carry of a submachine gun without the need to conceal such a large type of weapon under bulky clothing. By putting the gun into a briefcase, they gave security personnel a way to blend right into the business and executive type of envi...
if you've ever played james bond on PS1
otherwise well there was the stoner 63 if you mean modular
pistol carbines were popular for a bit during the inter war period
a pistol with a stock being cheaper than fielding rifles
the idea remained around for a while for back line and emergency vehicle use
the idea there being that you can fold up your carbine and shove it somewhere in your tank so you can use it when needed and have more range than a pistol
pistol carbines go up and down in popularity in history, some gunsmith will figure out a way to make one and be hailed as the inventor of a new innovative type of weapon only for it to go back to obscurity
soviets made one in the 50's with an automatic pistol
the problem is it cost too much to make so they just issued the 74u to tankers instead. smart move since it's literally a full assault rifle instead of a pistol pretending to be a carbine
and this started the idea of PDW's which are the modern version of pistol carbines. small form factor assault rifles and smg's
personal defense weapon
p90 is the most famous one
tl;dr pistol carbines were an attempt to get the best of both worlds with carbines and pistols. they usually ended up being worse than either
also they're popular in the US civilian market for legal reasons
here. here is the thing you wanted to see
the glock goes in and becomes a carbine
I wonder how come the Imperium doesn't have under barrel weapons on their las/auto/stub guns
Combi-weapons do exist IIRC, I just think theyre like really rare/expensive
Aren't Combi-weapons usually plasma or bolters?
leave the setting
