I realized the other day that the ultramarines having the largest territory in the imperium and the most space marines at their disposal ties into their roman theme lol
Like it just dawned on me
You would be surprise why they are the 13th marine legion.
are their any other notable marines that wore anthropomorphic helmets like that of dantes
Sanguinary guard for blood angels and their successors in general wear deathmasks, dantioch had a helmet in the shape of the IH legion symbol
I have a bunch of questions regarding the legal system (if there is one) for Astartes:
- How are SM tried for their crimes? Is there like a specific court for them?
- What are some possible crimes they can be charged with?
- What are the punishments? (||We seen that Titus got sent to another chapter as a form of atonement, but can SM be "de-powered" for their crimes?||)
-
Inqusition or chapter handles it. As with most imperium things the trial is not very fair.
-
Heresy, being a traitor, way too much friendly fire, disobeying a marine who’s a superior officer hard enough that it goes wrong.
-
Death, servitorization, exile, some sort of other penance
||Titus was being tortured by the inqusitor after space marine 1 for info. Him ending up in deathwatch was self flagellation and he had nowhere else to go||
wait. There are servitor Astartes?
Yes marines can get turned into servitors if they fuck up hard enough
Usually they just get killed
My phone autocorrected servitor.
More often the inqusition or imperium punishes an entire chapter
When it gets directly involved
All the traitors at badab got sent on a penitent crusade
And lost their homeworld
Considering that SM are like prized possession against the horror of the universe, turning them into servitor is crazy.
It’s other marines doing it
Lol
The imperium has a saying, “only in death can redemption be found”
Do they at least take the geneseed
Actually
Yrd
If you extract both the extra Geneseed and the geneseed already in the SM body
What happens to the body?
So can you theoretically lile
Get Geneseed implanted
Survive become cool space marine
And then after a while
Just get the two Geneseed out?
Yes
And still be fine
but marines aren't built on efficency
lol
They're intentionally an inefficent system
Also can you grow more than two Geneseed.
And by that I mean.
Second grows
Gets taken out
Can another grow?

To prevent another Horusus Heresy?
No
they were just intentionally inefficent from the start
The Emperor was 99% likely to let them go extinct slowly
I guess in case if the Emperor finishes the webway thing and is like
"Okay we're done here. Where's mount Ararat?"

but yeah Marines were like
most likely up for extermination
after the Emperor was done with them
now granted he wouldn't have exterminated them all
he would have absolutely let them go extinct on purpose
The Emperor's fine scalpel thrown away once used
well
the Legions were more like a jackhammer
lol
at the very least he was already working on an upgrade
the Raptor Program and Primaris projects
were both WIP
Is there any art for like Marine Servitor? Out of like curiosity
What’s the webway project?
Mini, they had the astartes keyword lol
not the Space marine faction keyword
the specific this is a marine keyword lol
now granted that could have been a gameplay concession
The emperor was going to breach into the Webway and use it for FTL
he was also going to probably exterminate the navigators
lol
actually not even probably
he 100% was going to lol
probably along with all abhumans
So basically a more classic FTL. Instead of breaching into the warp, you use other means instead. I mean it will drastically reduce the chance of corruption which is good.
what was the raptor program
fast incubation for better marines, resulted in horribly mutated marines with physical deformities. Corax used them as disposable shock troops
Matured in under 12 weeks
and were stronger, and faster then marines
the program was scrapped since the Raptors were too unstable and in constant agony
wasnt that whole thing w corax alpha legion meddling or did he just get a bunch of homunculi marines twice
also a precursor to the Primaris project
Yeah
that was from AL meddeling
but the program was given to Corax incomplete
The first raptors from before the program was finished by Corax were spit out were that way
but the Marines had a replacement inprogress from the Selenar genecults with the Primaris and Raptor projects
If Im not wrong, the Raptor doesn't have gene seed defect like the rest of RG way before the Primaris reinforcement.
Raptors had other issues but yeah they didn't have the melanin stealer issue
also primaris RG still have the Melanin stealer issue
Also, the improved marines and the primaris program are 2 different things, one is just built upon other.
Every SM founding has at least a few attempt of creating a better marines.
Same with primaris Sally...
Some of the marines in the Salamanders 1st company wear helmets that are fashioned to look like snarling drakes on one half
"‘Guide you,’ Ferrus insists. ‘I am dead. Lost. Damned."
soooooooo
its confirmed??
Then there's the space wolves with their wolf helmets
Yeah hes gay.
are their any books from the emperors perspective
which is better
do you think gw letting fatshark exist rumbler and kickback into existence is a one off or theyll let them maybe make something new again
Depends on what Fatshark wants to do.
Depend on what you mean by making new things
They just ask for stuff they want, and GW either approves it or denies it, thats all.
so iv heard the two weapons i listed didnt exist prior to darktide
Like Smooth bore launcher already existed and had models
iv been lied to
they are literally grenade launchers
one just uses buckshot ammo
rumbler and kickback weren't really an all new idea
Yeah that
THe only thing new would be that Ogryn pattern exist
almost all the weapons in the game are from miniatures
you could say having them be ogryn sized - - what Cacti said
Are there even any weapon that doesn't have any models ? Even if they don't look the same, but being the same "class" of weapons
Not really no yeah.
Maybe the 2h Force Sword ?
its mostly due to them being "mundane" somewhat so theres always some precedence for them, minus the ones that are a 1:1 lift like the tactical axe etc.
and yeah basically shit like that, but like... its just a force-sword but big so
Yea Force Swords as a concept was always on the Tabletop, GW is a bit inconsistent themselves about whether one or two handedness are different between edition anyways.
so whats with the diff types of chainsword i see some that are just one edged while others will have the chain completely exposed i tend to see the 1 sides one a lot more tho
Current 10th is “no, no difference rules wise”
Just different patterns
There arent' really any difference in what they can do
Yea, one rule of 40k is that even the same piece of tech is made differently across the entire galaxy.
Usually the Full chain ones are older editions
So you end up with different patterns and designs
i imagine the completely exposed one is a lot more flexible in how it can wielded
Probably lore wise, but on tabletop at this point in time they have the same rules.
But is also more dangerous toward the user
The thing with Chain/Shock/Power/Transonic/Force... is that every type of melee weapon can exist in any variation
So you could have a Chain Rapier (Though no idea how that would look)
Yea, all the above can have Power/Chain/Force/Monomolecular variants.
Chain Gauntlet Sword exist in Chain pattern (Jakhal)
But on Tabletop - admittedly, GW probably decided it is better for the creative juices - they are just collectively called “Power/Chain/Force/Monomolecular weapon”.
Since GW realised they don’t want to gimp everyone into modelling the exact right weapon piece to get the best stat line advantage.
(Admittedly they do know they will get a lot of money, but even they realize it would have players hate them too much to pay at all.)
do power or chainweapons ever have to be recharged or fueled
Depends on pattern, but generally I don’t think so.
Or at least, there is enough to last one engagement.
(Our Rejects’ weapons probably have built in limits so to limit the damage we do if we go AWOL)
‘Refuelling’ a power or chain weapon might be the sort of thing you do downtime between different engagements.
i think iv seen a few times power swords that are cabled to a backpack not sure if theyre just extra juiced or they need constant power as an inferior model or what
Yes
SM Power weapons usually are charged by their armour's reactor
Ah ok
Different patterns. Veteran’s Powersword doesn’t need cabling - the battery is probably inside the handle in this case.
never seem to see ogryn with chain weapons
IIRC There is old lore about Chain weapons not being issued to Ogryn, due to them not using them well
i imagine theyd probably accidentally sit on it or worse
Sweet baby raptor jesus gimme that!
It's from the Scab faction concept arts from Miguel
It's kinda like a chain machete, and I know it won't happen but damn would I love to have it.
maybe nit picking but why does the grenade gauntet have rifling with how small the grenades are also in game is 5rd while only 4 when looking down the barrel tube thing
Cause Tech is widely uncomprehensible in 40k, so they slap rifling in every weapon
even when it make no sense for it
could the grenades in these in theory be any sort of nade ie krak or melta or is it only ever seen as frag/he in lore
Not that we've seen before, but nothing really prohibiting it as far as it's written
Doing some more paint combinations. I just found out, grey seer is a far better coating for the Carcharodons then their default chapter color you get in SM2.
Yeah the same goes for Raptors green and other stuff too.
The tones they picked for some Chapters base colors look really off so the alts always end up better.
forget about new weapons
I WANT THEM TO ADD MOTORCYCLES INTO THE GAME
Already done
their are like little go cart vehicles on some of the maps
that seat looks too small for a sm ass
i wonder why
???
the rot consumes
Average drifty brain
unwise to let ogryn drive da boat me thinks
Do Hives have Driver courses ?
do hives even have like highways?
we have the bridge of many martyrs looked pretty drivable last time i was there
I guess you could have them if you have enough room for trains
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFQee_ZBzZI
this is probably how driving licenses work in 40k

Written by Ethereal Snake "Tom Bourgeois" and Tommy Hur...
Going back to weapons that FS could create or give appearances that don't have any yet:
Give appearance: Ogryn Mace Fist; Ogryn Flails
Create: Power or Transonic Shears (Zealot or Admech), Psyker's Biomantic Hammer, Zealot's Chain-Drill Hammer, Ogryn Drill Gauntlet
Flails were already a thing in VT2 so it would be trivially easy for Fatshark to bring them to Darktide as a new weapon type. They already did that sort of thing by giving the Ogryn a pickaxe, all they really had to do was make new Ogryn-sized animations to make it work, the game mechanics were already more or less worked out.
Ethereal Snake my beloved
But we don't really have any set appearnace of Flails in 40k yet iirc
Come on - we have revolvers. Those are even less "40k" than flails, which I think actually exist on some models even.
Flails I can't find other than SM Stuff
https://youtu.be/NA4ItRmWhzE?si=YoLdi8LVOleyLAzc
@arctic talon
skitarii have a bunch of revolver user
Still, I don't see how flails wouldn't be a perfectly fine weapon to add for Zealots at least. Flails do exist in the lore.
well
Im never leaving the eviscerator
i doubt theyl add a zealot melee weapon that I find cooler than a 2 handed chainsword
Chain Flails
what would a flail add to the game
Flails are cool 🤷
mechanically
"blunt" chain weapon, Flail movement, shield bypass ?
Going by the VT2 comparison, they have an entirely different moveset and feel to them.
cecil
give us the 1911 stub gun
Some kind of Arco flagellant electro whip thing would be kinda sick
For zealot and psyker maybe
If not an actual flail
Dual weld flamers?
To see if Whips can work in a tide game.
In any case Flails should happen anyway 🤷
Hand Flamers ?
Actually in terms of new weapons...
- hand flamers for zealots (Yes mini flamethrowers)
- Plasma Pistol for Vets.
- Inferno Pistol and Meltagun
Hand Flamers
CQC weapons are well covered enough unless we just get a new PSword variant for Vets (since it seems like each weapon should get 3 variants)
Same for Chainsword
New melees are more interesting than new ranged to me 💀
Tide game are about melee combat and all
Fair.
Basically any weapon that doesn't have all 3 variants should get 3 variants.
What about adding an Incinerator for Vet and Zealot?
Incinerator could be a flamer variant mark
Not necessarily a full blown weapon on its own
Incinerator would be quite to valuable
A high(er) damaged flamer with a certain tradeoff, I can see that working
Yes, but not being an Incinerator
Imagine Psykers getting Psycannons...
Psy Bolts would be more possible, but I'd see the process apply on some other ammo
Sucks we can’t really get a mechanic to properly represent Psyker prescience

Like the scenes in Witchbringer where Glavia is just dancing through the field executing people point blank and avoiding every shot because she can see the future
I .... don't like the lore implications of the brown tube
I mean
It's a life support thing, so...
But does the emperor poop, besides warpstorms
Thats a heresy, isn't it, or at least an extremist sect belief
no afaik, he is the carrion lord of humanity, the cult has never claimed his body lives only his soul
i doubt they would build statues and murals of him as a skeleton if they did say his body was also alive
basically his body was marytered but his soul lives on and guides and protects humanity
Well there's many schizms, some believe he is still whole, some dead, i thought that was considered an uncommon view. It's not like anyone has seen him in a long time. Ghilliman, cypher, goge, any others?
inquisitor Draco :P
lmao
He hid he was a psyker? Figures
but yeah there are a lot of sects and schizms in the cult so there are likely 1000s of them that do believe he lives in both body and soul
hell house Escher thinks he is a she
Gw accidentally legitimising those boobmarines and Femarch sculpts
its only natural they would given the house's history and culture
Escher men are only good for tossing in a cryotube for reproductive use or in a corpse grinder so why would they worship a male god?
Honestly the only way to represent that would probably just be to slow down the game (for the whole team)
which would be so broken
It could be made to work, as an ability (Could be done without Psyker with Combat Drugs too)
FUUUUUUCKKKKKKKKKK
i left home for a bit to pick up something and now theres a giant rainstorm raging and Im stuck in a coffee shop
smh
Im gonna miss a online meeting lmao
life be lifing rn
Khorne's Skulliest warrior
I think I just realized that vox is literally just the bastardized version of aux.
bets on if there will be a horus heresy thursday today
Vox is actually Latin for “voice”
Lots of Low Gothic is kind of rip-off Latin
It is to balance the gameplay, and DT Psyker has empathic evasion, which makes you immune to range attack on critical hit, so you can just melee the horde without worry.
Codex Compliant Poindexters vs RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH....who will win????
#warhammer40k #ultramarines
I couldn’t imagine fighting world eaters without turn one charge, it would be like playing against a normal army
FUCK IT TURN 1 CHARGE!! 🗣️

The dreaded Lions of Jabir are one of the Iron Sultanate's most fearsome creations. A Lesson in Trade tells the tale of Kazem the merchant, and his unfortunate encounter with one such takwin creature…
Lore by Tuomas Pirinen.
Art by Mike Franchina.
Voiced by A Vox in the Void as the Narrator, and Hussein Mohammed as the Lion and Kazem.
STL ...
oh cool, they've started to do lore videos on their channel proper
He's supposed to be 16, why does he look 9
Lore wise ? Sure
Unfortunately Vet can't compete with the alpha chad energy of the chaos cultist lady holding the heavy stubber
Geared up for war. Boutta go fuck up some Word Bearers
What about the other one who is welding the gun only admech can use?
Apparently, she's welding a Stubcarbine
Are you sure ? Cause I think it's a Autopistol ?
Wahapedia: Warhammer 40,000 10th edition, Chaos Space Marines — Cultist Mob with Firearms (unit characteristics, wargear options, wargear profiles, abilities, unit composition, stratagems, enhancements, points cost, led by/leader and keywords).
Ye, initially it was, now it's back to an Autopistol
Ah
Odd question, but would there be anything such as admech zealots? Regular people who preach the Omnissiah without previous links to the admech organisation?
They exist in forges of mars books
But are often found as hereteks since they aren’t initiated into the cult
I wonder if there is way darktide could make admech zealots a thing.
And thus, it is illegal for them to interact with technology
Like current Zealot but having an Admech personality ? Or just having an Admech archetype ?
Both options?
Option 1 wouldn't work well (Due to cosmetics, abilities and weapons)
And Option 2 could do it more easily by not having them be something different than simply Admech Zealot as background
Honestly having them not be part of the Admech proper (Like Technica Guilds that are sometime mentioned), but sub servient to various cults (As we already know that both Mars and Metalica has influence on Atoma), leaning on those for the personalities.
And having the weapons and stuff be made available by teaching by the Admech and trade against the Moebian Steel
Remember to hit them with the shovel.
Skitarii or Ad Mech as playable class…
Skitarii would have problems with the Reject tag
Yeah tech adept is like the most plausible
Because they could either be rejected or kick out of the institution for crazy ideas
Isn't a punishment for mechanicus members basically being stripped of their augments
That would basically be a easy explanation for why they only have like
An autopistol

This is also warham are you could just say that the institution they worked in was like
Decided to send them away to be either repurpose into something different
Or as punishment reduce them into minial work of being near rejected fools
Being sent to be repurposed into a Servitor
Only to get a second chance
Or at least arguably a better fate than being servitorized
Yeah but considering that the usual theme on our characters is committing a crime that isn't that bad
You can say the institution they are in let them go easy
Well easy by imperium standards
This is the same empire that punishes you for complaining
Heretek, but they're just doing what orks do and making DIY combi-weapons
Stuff like a storm-laspistol
No
Punishment varies
I'd go even lower, Technica Crews, taught by Admech Envoy to maintain stuff in the Hive
does the admech have a penal regiment equivalent?
Not really
Tech thralls and servitors
I guess
makes sense
Adseculari would be the closest yes
i wonder if m2 will have the cav
the hounds and the horse lookin mechanical mounts
serberos?
serberys
Pteraxis would be nice to have too
raiders and sulphurhounds
If there is more verticality
i didn't know about those until now. thought you were referring to the Ironstriders (Chicken Walkers)
well I wouldnt have, but they had like
kastellans
serberys units would be nice in a turn based game
Might need bigger maps to make them work well
iirc they did say 2 will have a wider range of units
Playable videx/hj
playable flayed ones
the necron campaign wont be playable without them imo
Im pretty sure flayed ones are gonna be playable as long as necrons are playable
Necron lord is a girl??????
heh
It’s a vargard
😔
wtf is a vargard?
^?
When it was 1st announced, some people were speaking of a 3rd faction (without anything pointing to it).
And the one that would fit the most for M2 (or M3) would be a Tau Earth Exploration fleet
well i assume a vargard is fairly high ranking?
Super high ranking lychguard
Pretty much equivalent to a lord in terms of military command
Personal body guard of the Lord
*Overlord
ah
well it seems her dynasty's crownworld is in admech hands so its clear what her mission will be
pretty big fellas too
We have like
2 known vargard in canon
One is imotekh’s bodyguard I forgot their name
get it bad before the boss wakes up
And the other is Obyron
ah yeah, Obryon the UNIT
we dont even know which dynasty this is afaik
It’s prolly sautekh
The dynasty in mechanicus 1 was sautekh
The scheme in 2 looks the same
makes sense
kinda wish it was a different dynasty
we only killed an overlord of the sautekh in 1 so now we might get to kill the real boss
Well
The sautekh don’t have a Phaeron rn
Well
It’s imotekh
Imotekh is the phaeron
But he hasn’t taken the title of
Phaeron
anyone remember the last time Maynarkh got any attention?
Mentioned in pariah nexus and necron codexes
That’s about it
Last actual appearance was imperial armor 12
shame, i like their colors
Can the process for tech-thralls and servitors be reversed?
Servitor no
Tech thrall yes but no one would do that
Tech thralls are lower then servitors
Lower then menials
What about giving their personality back if there were a convict?
Tech Thralls don't really have their personalities shut down
Tech thralls are fully sentient and sapient still
Servitor can sometime have their personality return, but it's not something people know how to do
They just get puppeteed in combat
Are tech thralls still a thing in 40k?
Yes
wolf did you watch it
Watch what
the video i pinged you with this morning
Felt like sand paper on my brain
admit you laughed at least once
It made me smile
"i'm gonna fly"

keep forgetting, is it the 10th company the one that holds the most Vanguard squads in a chapter?
As in Phobos armored squads? Yeah
sigh okay. Gonna need more coins to get that knee marking for my Eliminator.
A model for necromunda was revealed not too long ago
This is what it feels like talking to space marine fans
The Psychoteric Thrall?
The one that came with the master of whispers?
I was just wondering if these guys are still used in 40k
autism at its peak
ohhh zombie cyborgs
Yes
The guy you sent is a tech thrall, but they are mainly used for like not combat stuff
i thought tech thralls were servitors with their brain still mostly intact
Apparently, they're lower than servitors.
And I was wondering if a person could be turned back from a tech thrall.
Also, I learnt there used to be tech-gangs in the pre-version of 1st edition Necromunda.
Nah, it’s just someone horribly mutilated with cybernetics as punishment
They have full brain functions
But they can be puppeted or commanded to do stuff against their will
No one would ever do it is the thing tbh
Not unless the priest cared about the person it was done to
Which is unlikely
And we all know if caring was a credit score, a Techpriest’s would be low as hell
they'd be on the IRS's hit list
They didn’t even reveal horus heresy slop today, shit must be on fire at gw
Expect another Heresy Friday
But unlike last time, we can’t joke about Angron being so angry he crashed the community page
…unless the reveal IS the tiny Legiones Imperialis version of him.
Those 2 are for scale.
Actually, the Archelon could be bigger, it is 1/35 while the marine is 1/32.
Big turtle
So odd crossover question, but would the admech see the technologies of the cybermen as Xeno, despite it originally coming from the solar system.
it's still humans
mechanicus would steal the tech and make better tech thralls
or they wouldn't because cybermen would crumble to 40k weaponry
I would particularly agree to that.
The cybermen do have some technological advantages, but it's dependent on their generation.
some cybermen iterations are pretty bullshit
like the ones that adapt to everything that could kill them
but if we're talking the earlier seasons of the reboot they would get folded so fast
I would but I'm already in the late game and its ass compared to the weapons I have now
what act?
feel like out of all the legions, white scars look the best to use for HH adn 40k
they are already non conventional
are you sure
its liek
them, alpha legion, wbs, and space wolves
but maybe not wbs
since they are SUPER corrupt
think maggie think
Was nls who you meant
4
You aren’t end game quite yet….
You’ll need the God-Emperor’s favor for the trials ahead
damn
they got an infallible process and everything
these perfected methods are why the Imperium has no crime
truly, a society blessed by the Emperor
wonder why they settled on only three oracles
💀
is rt getting more dlc a confirmed thing
if i remember correctly its not for sure but they also havent ruled it out
something abt if the current ones sale well theyd look into making more
With how many DLC wrath ended up getting I imagine many more on the way
yeah owlcat likes their dlc
but kingmaker didnt get that many
so maybe rt 2 will have more
Yes
id like more continuations onto its story rather then just quest that are throughout it tbh
its a confirmed thing?
GW likes DLC, Owlcat tends to make lots of DLC
Ergo, probably going to be more DLC
what if they just start making rt 2
itd be easier just to make a dlc
They were still making DLC for Wrath while Rogue trader was releasing
Although I expect they'll do one of the other fantasy flight ttrpgs next
I'm dearly hoping for Dark Heresy
Only War would go hard though
granted it might be eons inbetween dlc releases if they do more but i mean its almost a certainty theyd be good and worth the wait
They'll probably reveal a new roadmap during Skulls
also watching these clips of valrak playing sm2 campaign is hilarious lmao
the man loses his mind obsessing over every detail
hes ecstatic
"LOOK AT THE GUARD FIGHTING"
" LOOK AT ALL THE NIDS THERE"
"OH MYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY HOLY EMPEROR!"
Theres nothing to continue
the story is set with set endings
thats kind of it really
If Owlcat does Dark Heresy I hope they link it to the RT campaign somehow, even if only by indirect lore mentions.
is leandros a primaris marine
sergeant thing
isnt he capn
or i guess just general officer
i figured it was one of those space marine capns dress however they want thing
there's prob a name for it
It's just a medallion
some of my sergeant models have them
it's just like an extra place to paint decals
also
is there some reason titus has like a slash across his non deathwatch pauldron
something slashed it
well yeah but I asked because hes got it as soon they do the whole scene with him gearing up
the opening title scene basically
did they find his pauldron from sm1 and slap it on there
he'd been in the deathwatch for a looooong time by that point
100 years I believe
do all chapters practice the whole studs to denominate time served or
People like to blabber on about how 40k is an allegory of this or that, but really, the Imperium is an allegory of GW itself. An authoritarian, overly complicated bureaucatic shadow of itself that keeps worshipping what once made it great, but is long since dead.
Would make more sense if we were still in the early 2010s, currently GW has been doing very well on almost every aspect
Woah...
Leutin sometimes comes to funny looking solutions for pictures for his videos
Imagine if titus wipes our every tyranid in the galaxy and leandros at the end of it is like " the dark stain of suspicion never fades"
If I was in a room with Lucius, Erebus and Leandros with two bolt shells id shoot Leandros twice

leandros truly missed the class in soldier school where they teach you not to rat out your teammates
If Leandros was a Commissar he would have gotten the Morrow treatment…
Well this is sus
Still no community update thing at all…
To be fair, shooting the other 2 is a waste of ammunition.
It's the principle that matters
Do we need to have an honor duel?
I mean, saying Space Marines are over represented isn’t exactly a hot take nowadays.
More like a lukewarm take.
I didn't call it a hot take
Fair, just joking around.
Bored from WFH and just staring at work chat to make sure I don’t miss anything before long weekend hits,
so random tau question, do the castes intermingle or do they keep their relationships within caste lines?
You mean an earth cast like
Getting in a relationship with someone from the fire cast
yeah
If that's what you mean then no
My memory is a bit fuzzy on the topic but i'm pretty sure they don't allow that type of thing
If you want to to be in a relationship you're going to have to stick with your caste
makes sense
Titus represents a not so forgotten era of the UM, once known as UltraSmurf.
The tau absolutely do not want the castes to intermingle
The only place where tau freely interbreed is the farsight enclaves
tau are all about strict social roles and shit
And it slays
Also pretty sure they dictate who and when you can
Also only designated breeding pairs can have children
Must be papa Nurgle breaking everything, considering we only got an upload for how to start a Deathguard army
Lowkey think death guard is the most common traitors because I swear they show up in more books than any other legion
$$$
Even then there’s no caste interbreeding iirc, you’re just free to pick your partner within your caste
arrow to the knee virgin vs arrow to the cornea chad
Watch them reveal even more space wolves
Oh yeah, which of the legions cause the least amount of ecological damage
Nightlords
Salamanders and Ultramarines used the fewest destroyer squads iirc but I doubt they were environmentally friendly despite that
i mean salamander flamethrowers aren't really environmentally friendly last time I checked
Not much of the Imperial war machine would be
yeah they have literal virus bombs
Least; Raven guard and alpha legion
Since they usually conquered worlds with subterfuge
Yeah this
Oh also night lords
Though psychological damage to the planet
Was prolly huge lol
Something about planets surrendering when they heard the NL were on the way, that's pretty eco friendly
ravenguard is less subterfuge tbf, also they do have like dedicated terrorists
now let's spice up this question up a little bit
which Xenos is Eco friendly
immediately off the questions are orks and tyranids
anyoen who says tyranids will be neck punched
orks are orks and tyranids literally eat the environment
They use a bunch of poison
That fucks up the environment
Poisons the water table
Ect.
oh yeah fair
no because yes like wolf said a lot of chemical weapons
votaan use literal planet breaker s
Tau do normal industrialization stuff
you can't get any friendlier than that
So like
thats only for certain planets
As eco friendly as the imperium/hj
they still talk to the environment the other factions don't really do that
they use nuclear energy but like, texas nculear energy
GSCs are weird
since its a coin flip between becoming an armed military state or just sleep in teh grass in white robes
why not both
to be fair they are a global warming acceleration group
they call upon a faction to literally destroy the planet
not really eco friendly those guys are
they could be eco friendly, stopping the factories and shit
but yeah its not meant to last
like hive cult are obviously not ecofriendly
oh yeah how much ecoterrorism does space wolves cause
um their psykers call upon blizzards so
i guess alot
lmao
sounds right
what about whitescars?
they do call upon hurricanes and stuff
and rain storms
oh never mind they do talk to nature and shit too
always forget whitescars are just cooler space wolves
i keep forgetting these guys exist, they are perfect for chaos spawn
I wonder if the arbites companion just turns on you immediately if you break the law
oh these
Daemon Brutes
i thought it was an origin not a companion
I don't remember actually
i really feel like these were not meant for HH lmao
Yeah it's a comp
oh shoot
anwayy he will probably betray you if you mess with nobles lma o
every day i pray for an imperial kngiht themed thing in rogue trader
you're a rogue trader
if he betrays you he better have a good damn reason
they are like, brainwashed specifically to protect the nobel class and will arrest you lmao
being a rogue trader is being a noble class+
i went to check the mod page for rogu etrader
you should have not
Average death guard name
For a second I thought they stole the name from AOS
The Maggoth Lords are mighty servants of the Chaos god Nurgle.[1]
They have been granted the honour of riding vast pox maggoths into battle and travel the Mortal Realms enacting the will of their god.[1]
The chaos knight ‘houses’ that are basically giant robot demons are pretty cool tbh
that's just a daemon engine
But using the chassis of a knight
Yeah
It fills the ‘myth from hell that summons under certain circumstances’
Like whistling at night or something
imagine a khorne chaos knight growing wings
because a bloodthirster is inside of it
There’s one that summons from pools of blood
I have a chaos knight house in mind
Who are eternally cursed to seek a home if their own
But then that doenst fill the ‘omens of death’ vibe
Every planet the knight house lands on is destined to face a world ending apocalypse
So they kept fleeing and fleeing and every planet they go to is consumed
But that feels like it’s too much
So Meg
Meh*
do space marines ever wear their chainswords on their hip
like if they are using a bolter
have they considered staying on tha ships
yea
they can maglock any of their weapons to their armor if im not mistook
including ammo and grenade etc
Yeah
Eldar gaming
Shit, true….
How many knight houses during the Horus heresy are like the modern chaos knights
I only can think of one example
Quite a few.
Can new knights still be forged?
as in the suits?
yeah they just take a while
unless your knight house islike, cooked
Yeah. Knights arent that hard to make
and a few patterns are lost iirc, but other wise yeah they make new ones
i heard it takes a few years for aminger, and tens of years for the questors
can they make new command thrones?
I was about to say yeah those are the actual hardest part to replace
an average resupply shipment from a Forge World to a vassal Knight World can give them a dozen new suits in comparison
the throne is the critical bit that is the most crucial
Sweet. Writing my little fanfic has me thinking about how knights and such cause I want to be as accurate to the lore as I can
But I probably will stray a bit because even gw doesn't care about lore fidelity most times
Yeah remember theres as many [thing here] as the plot demands.
Just make a "realistic" number depending on the strenght of your scenario/House or just read the lexi and some reddit threads
Numbers of knights will only matter for a while because as the story progresses there will be few and fewer knights in the complement
Eventually they shall fall or find there own path along the freeblade
The suits are easier then the throne/helm mechanicum
It’s just a big lump of hydraulics and motors and armor plus some weapons and sensors
Just write it that if they stay on the ships too long some calamity occurs on the ship every time
do specific chapters own or use specific forge worlds separate from each other for their ower armor or is it the all get made the same and just gets painted heraldry placed on them once they get to the actual chapter
Usually whatever forgeworld is closest, armor is often pre painted but not really decorated beyond the basic chest aquilla
we "It depends"-ing in this household fr fr
do forge worlds have to be dedicated soley to making power armor or is it something they can be making at the same time as other stuff
Depends on the forgeworld.

Also like, its an entire planet made to be a factory, what do you think

No, forgeworlds are huge
An industrial world I could see being dedicated entirely to power armor production
A forgeworld is a planet that’s been turned into a factory
so atoma a industrial world right
isnt atomas main use is making the tank tho
Making tanks doesnt make it an industrial world.
also yeah that
You need to realise while some Imperial worlds can have 1 function they still have other exports.
Again we are talking about an entire planet.
An industrial world is mostly dedicated to mass production of goods
But they also have other like qualiticactions
Close ties to the mechanicus as well tbh
is their like not a mechanicus element on atoma seeing as the only ones we hear about is kayex hadron and that one guy (all came with grendyls warband) and then that one random biologis on the planet
I mean yeah there is a mechanicus element on literally every single Imperial world.
they operate almost every technological aspect of Imperial society
the thing with an industrial world is that the mechanicus are often intertied with the ruling class directly
or the managment of a world
they are not in control, but they'll be in the ears of the govenor
Also the characters constantly mention techpriest operators in manufactorum levels. They exist.
r they dumb whyd it take hadron and co rolling up for them to be able to rediscover mobian steel smh
prolly because the current atoman steel was good enough™️
but Hadron is a massive fucking nerd
so is kayex or hadron higher in the chain or are they on completely separate spectrums
Hadron is higher.
But also different spectrums.
Hadron is with us, Kayex is a part of Brahms retinue.
whats the name of that one tech priest from the mortis trial audio that wanted to extermintus atoma is he brahms or warband or do we know
Kayex in theory could be higher no?
I guess, but hes pretty subservient
fair
I forgor.

one of his lines is him calling hadron and idiot basically
Yeah but theres a lot of lines where Hadron constantly talks down to him even if its "respectful".
Shes a much bigger arrogant cunt also.
also would sefoni technically be apart of grendyls main retinue
when does she wear a jacket
...
literally in the cutscene she appears in

Oh wait you mean Sefoni
I thought it was Masozi

foolish smh
i know shes inquisitorn but im asking like would she be one of grendyls closer confidents being a powerful psyker and all i dont think masozi would be i think shes just an above average trooper/pilot tbh
No shes just a powerful psyker and very much batshit.
Masozi is the main ace pilot of the warband, shes very valuable, sometimes more than the people she carries.
these people are handpicked by Inquisitors for their retinues for a reason.
i assume masozi was probably apart of a regiment or something before being yoinked by grendyl any guess as to which
We dont really know either way.
All pilots come from the Imperial Navy's aeronautica division
and the newest additions to his warband would be zola then morrow right
Yeah Zola is way higher in the hierarchy just below Rannick, Morrow is like a middle-man/team-dad
hows zola gotten so high already seeing as morrow and brunt are who had to rescue her
Because shes just good at her job, and prob displayed as much after she got taken. We got no idea how long the timejump is.
An Explicator is a high position but as displayed in the journals even a single bad fuckup can have her reprimanded, disposed or taken down to a nobody
surprised rannick only gave her a slap on the wrist for the twins debacle
I mean it wasnt a slap
she was taken off operations for awhile as he discussed with the Inquisitor what to do with her.
She laments as much during the wait between journal entries, it was probably decided anyway that shes "useful for now".
And even when it was a debacle the twins still died, so it was a success.
in the end tho it didnt result in any meaningful punishment tbh
or did they
I mean yeah because again the twins got killed.
Rinda coming back later doesnt change the fact that it was a big blow.
tbh rodin was almost brought back as something
yeah and we intercepted it so
what even is the deal that happens to him at the end of that mission
We dont know, it was just some daemonic ritual.
Rodin died for our sins
hope they elaborate further on that missing inquisitors ship somehow thats talked abt in mortis audio
We'll see
So the legion of the damned is actual lore and not just a fan homebrew thing?
for the longest time I thought they were just like a fan made thing
I wonder if Dark Mechanicum can turn daemons into tech-thralls.
Complete with their own minis
True.
Real lore but not a thing since like 5th ed
Yeah they still exist, just barely remembered.
I've helped sell their book
Darkmech are cowards, they should make something cool instead of just shoving daemons into things
Do yall just never use google
The Legion of the Damned are a legendary and mysterious force of Adeptus Astartes. Pale and gaunt Space Marines plated in black power armour adorned with death imagery, they unexpectedly appear from nowhere to help Imperial forces in times of great need. The truth behind their origin is currently unknown for certain, but Inquisitorial investigat...
Make a daemon into a cognito hazard or something at least
Just never really looked into, saw a YouTube video talking about it then came here
We must destroy the fandom website
i know where they could shove one
ur butt?
from what a have heard from some that worked at the site, that would take all of 5mins and a little code work lmao
it would take 5 seconds to restore to a previous version
true
fandom is unkillable sadly
put 7 more in and become an eightbound
Prolly an extremely fucked up daemon engine
Tbh
Just a baneblade with 2 of every god formed daemon in it lmao
She got her relic armor
could an ork actually ever die of old age i know almost impossible theyd ever reach that point before being blasted or worse but do they age in the conventional sense
not really?
orks are almost always explicitly explained to be immortal aging
They just keep growing and growing
but because of the way they live their life expectancy is
short
So
Lemme get this straight
What’s that thing in the back there what looks like an eye
The eye of horus
eye of terra
Yes that's what it was known as before Horus' betrayal
A question, Emperor lives by consuming a thousand souls of psykers daily.
Is it forcefed to him or does he eat willingly?
"** Xenos General** zzttt Hunting us Fzzz **only a few of us left.... ** "
By WolfDawgartcorner
Willingly
A Necron overlord that fights like grievous would be awesome
Necrons don’t take to having extra arms very well
Unless they’re destroyers
Makes the dysphorek worse
Which most Necrons would rather avoid
I can imagine there being a necron overlord that basically was like
"I REJECT MY NECRONITY, JOJO!"
They’d become a destroyer lord
If they started rejecting their body
Or a flayed one
I can imagine a destroyer going the more sleek/agile route
instead of the bulky ones we usually have
wolf general question how much does a mech from armored core keep up with a mech from lancer
Which generation of armored core
sick
The one you can find in the latest 1 fires of Rubicon
Yeah Destroyer Lord Necron Grevious sounds sick
Worse weaponry because magic bullshit exists in lancer
Behold the gun that literally never misses and doesn’t exist yet
So the Emperor does NOT want to die!
From what I know, if the big E dies, either he will regenerate as he is a perpetual or will actually die and reincarnate as the next Chaos god (or something).
From his POV, both of them are worse outcome compared to the current stagnancy of his circumstances.
If the emperor dies terra literally explodes into a new eye of terror
that might be worse then The actual eye of terror
If Big E dies, the side effect is literally wiping out the solar system into a new eye of terror
Warp Travel would also become difficult to near impossible
yeah then you have ******** like this
Because the Emperor powers the Astronomicon
The water is wet
Which acts as a reference point
So what you're saying is an AC is basically an average level
mech in lancer
Maybe the other factions should send some guards to protect Terra as well.
got you
I LOVE OPHYDIAN DESTROYERS RAHHH
An AC is prolly comparable to an Everest or something fresh out the box
I assumed if he can power Astronomicon as a half dead, he can power it alive as well. At least then he can also order doordash.
i see
But against more experience and adventured Mechs
an ac is gonna crumple and get folded like an omelet
Sorry he actually doesn't power it, whoopsie. He did during the great crusade, but now it's powered by the psykers that are sacrificed.
But he's the only one that can direct it
And also again
Terra becoming a new eye of terror would kinda
ruin the astronomicon
along with the solar system
...
Huh! How is it powered then?
the 10,000 psykers
Are they the ones that emperor eats or a separate bunch?
These ones don’t get eaten
Wow! That's some new shit I learned.
nope new ones
also about 100 die
per day
because it requires them to pour their energies
Small price
What if we feed 20% more psyker to Emperor to give him a little.... sugar rush.
The number already fluctuates day to day
does the power level of the psyker matter (the ones that get eaten)? Or, just being psyker is good enough?
Basically, these Psykers are powerful enough to actually be kept around. The Chosen are usually sanctioned psykers, Space Marines Librarians, etc.
I think it's the shittier ones that get fed directly
The logistics must be a nightmare! Finding them in planets, packing them up, shipping them, protect them in warp/space when traveling, unpacking and prepping them after arrival...
And keep in mind, they do their record keeping in parchment
specifically vellum https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vellum
Vellum is prepared animal skin or membrane, typically used as writing material. It is often distinguished from parchment, either by being made from calfskin (rather than the skin of other animals), or simply by being of a higher quality. Vellum is prepared for writing and printing on single pages, scrolls, and codices (books).
Modern scholars an...
The Administratum itself seems aware of the inefficiency of written record over more modern methods, but nonetheless does not change.
They also have wars over parchment
they do use dataslates, but the system is too big and unwieldy to use them on a more regular basis
So you either have to
A) Go through an entire monolithic library to try and find/stuff in a specific piece of parchment
B) Go through an entire unorganized digital file system that has it somewhere shoved inbetween "Homework Folder 4932134" and "my cool drawing.png"
iirc dataslates can't store very much data on them, so it would be less about navigating the file structure and more about finding a dataslate in a sea of dataslates
and knowing the imperium, the dataslates are probably all idk
