Next edition
They were never getting that rn
Hopefully next year or so
Yeah unfortunately
I feel bad for all 8 Grey Knight players
Valrak hasn’t been wrong with these big launches yet
It’s how it is
GK need literally everything except like two models redone
And that’s gonna be a big thing
They suffer from being unable to really use other marine kits
Looking at it now I’m glad I didn’t stay up for the reveals
they'll probably cook up some large event for them, would've thought the new Armageddon stuff would've been it but no
Prolly something bigger
Idfk
Maybe they stop vashtor from ascending
Or some shit lol
Maybe one of the other daemon primarchs
The Vashtor plot is still on going
Yup
The thing is
How the fuck are they gona do the new GK kits
Is it gona be like now where everything is 2 tri/quad build kits
Or are we going to get 1 kit per strike squad “variant”
Are there any 40K game involving the guardsmen? Or games that are more grounded, involving regular humans (not enhanced with tech like space marines or psykers or whatnot).
I wish there were a Fallout or Cyberpunk-like Open world action RPG.
That wouldn't really be a fitting setting for a guardsmen game though
I wish I had a nine inch cock
Yeah
Thanks eternal
The kind where you do quests, make choices, level up and get better.
Well while we’re saying stuff we wish for
that's just a bounty hunter game
Sat in a hive city
But yes if they did that
Maybe you can have your background as an old guard veteran that decided to somehow defect
It would probably be an Inquisitor game
But that's about it
That doesn’t fit a guardsmen at all yeah
Hiredgun sort of fits that whole
Level up thing
But it’s just violence lol
Because munda
Turn it down an inch because I think that's at the point where it genuinely starts to hurt people
Doesn't have to guardsmen.
Prolly would be an inqusitor
Honestly I want a cyberpunk crpg
Because 2077 just made me depressed
More then happy regarding mechanics
Lol
Honestly
Yeah.
Probably would be better
Yeah exactly... maybe your choices lead to different outcomes.
Nah that’s girth where it becomes an issue
I mean
If that makes any sense
And that’s where I’m ending this discussion
Yeah
Heavily
a Lancer CRPG
as they should
I mean 2077 does have the opportunity to basically act like a coked up cyber psycho. You can do some crazy shit
But at the same time
Not in RP segments lol
You could do even more
Real.
Had gorilla arms on.
Had the option to punch a person.
Didn't immediately turn them into mush
Disappointing
I'd argue that it's due to them being voiced.
Again silent dialogue is best
I mean
Even if they weren’t voiced
They could have been a little
More derranged
2077 also lacked enjoyable gameplay mechanics
It's also why some Fallout 1, 2, 3, and NV dialogue had some
Deranged ass dialogue decisions
Not even a he might be
Johnny was
Literally insane
He talked to his arm
Said it was alive and made him do things
And he called it “the hand”
You either go derange fighter hacker or cool guy
Like Johnny was not a mentally well person lol
or stop playing a quarter through the game because you can't be bothered to launch the game anymore
He was genuinely a deranged terrorist
Smell that air! Can't you just drink it like booze!
didn't he literally try to kill you first chance he
got
Tbf I think Soulkiller Johnny is explicitly different
Than actual Johnny
I mean
It’s close enough
But yes
Soul killed Johnnys memories are
extremely fucked up
On purpose
Ordering is off
Events are wrong
People show up when they shouldn’t, people don’t show up when they should
Ect
Yeah it made me think that maybe they edited his memories a bit to make him more idealistic in-lore.
His hero complex is def on display lol
Like Yorinobu did since he hates Arasaka
Considering he has shaiten go down at the start of the raid
Nah the events of the Arasaka tower in Johnnys engrams are wrong
Via word of god
This is one thing I feel like I'm in the minority. They marketed it like it'd be a Bethesda killer. Turned out a solid "meh".
Yeah that's the edited part.
Not bad
Also Alt, and his rock concert
Those are all wrong
It’s funny when you realize that he was a 2-bit player in other much more important people’s stories
yeah just mid and basic
The song played is incorrect
Like his girlfriend, who he thinks got kidnapped cause him
Alt getting kidnapped didn’t happen like that
When she was kidnapped cause all the insane shit she was developing
The people at Alts death were also different
Yeah I definitely think that it wasn't just death complicating things.
I genuinely think that Johnny's memories were tampered with also
Yeah she got kidnapped because of soul killer 1.0 LOL
Tbf Adam but still
He did also just die instantly
When Necromunda Hired gun was revealed, I thought it was gonna be an FPS RPG like I was hoping for. Afaik it's not.
Yeah no
He drew aggro for a bit
I also find it funny that he saw Adam Smasher as like
Yeah I tried but
It’s super generic
A rival in his memories
“Oh wow a dystopia where corpos rule everything, how fresh and new”
Adam literally didn’t even know him
Like Memory Adam acted like he and Johnny had beef.
When in reality Adam probably forgot after like an hour
And it’s art style was super eh too
At most
I had zero expectations for Hiredgun because I knew the studio was all flare no substance with their earlier games too
It not even a creative take on it tbh
Everything felt samey
also yeah hired gun I had 0 expectation
Like Adam probably remembers fucking David more.
I got exactly what I wanted out of it
Than Johnny
Yeah it’s just generic dystopian sci fi
“Oh wow you have to pay for your air, haha get it cause it’s dystopian. Buckle up we’re gonna recycle this idea ten times.”
Tbf it did have one entertaining concept.
Rented out graves
Well
It has its moments
...
Not even a bad idea tbh
I fucking hate reality
Being real

It’s not a terrible one
graves are a stupid idea to begin with
It’s purely for posterity
Well calling them rented graves irl is wrong
Lol
It’s more of a
You purchase a plot for X time
You do buy grave plots and stuff
Grave sites are a huge waste of space tbh, I get their importance but
Only interesting concept I found in Outer worlds was- Capitalism/corporate got so overpowered and influential in people's lives that it found a backdoor route to communism. One entity dictating your whole life.
Anyways that’s what happened to my great grandparents
Lol
My grandparents didn’t want to pay for the grave site anymore
So they uh
Dug them up and cremated them

I mean that wouldn't make sense to me because like
Graves and funerals are for posterior's sake in the first place. They're a place to "rest".
Why rent out a space and then get cremated?
Just get cremated.
Or just get buried.
Why do all the trouble of doing a ritual just to ruin it like 5 years later
Both my grandparents, except my grandma whose still alive, have been cremated. And we had a grave site put up nearby to commemorate them
Money
Oh also the columbarium in cyberpunk is really common irl as well
In East Asia
Humans have a lot of very elaborate ways we’ve buried people always
You mean where you pay to like
Commerate somebody?
Well sorta
It’s not complex, people like to do stuff like thst
Cultures have tons of different burial rites and shit
Also as a side note
The side quest with the suicidal guy genuinely made me actually feel depressed for a bit.
That being said I really like the whole Belter thing in Expanse
Sending people into space
Yeah dw I made his friends talk to him.
But I felt depressed because I genuinely related
Like I genuinely related to his isolation, and him feeling like the turtle was his only friend really got to me
But yeah rented graves I was very whatever when it got brought up
Like oh those literally exist irl lol
Jared Harris and David Strathairn are insanely good actors for making the Belter accent work so well
Your grandma cremated alive?
Yeah
It would be so easy for it to suck
Because when you're like severely mentally ill, you do genuinely feel like you're alone.
...
Anyways that's enough serious introspection
*except his grandma
Yeah

Yeah…
I still cope and pray for final Expanse seasons
My favorite is Fantasy Coffins from Ghana.
Basically
Pay some money to make your coffin reflect your life/profession
Car Coffin
Yeah I love those
Coffin that looks like a Cat
I always love the idea of professional mourners too
Wonder what the folks from Trench Crusade have in store for Adepticon, they ought to have something there as well. Or it might just be that they're present there with a booth, dunno
I have some friends who are there, might see if they’ll check it out
There's a booth for sure, but I was wondering if there's something to be revealed there as well
Where I live, we bury without coffin. Just a white cloth wrapped.
Fuck yeah, style points in the afterlife/oblivion/samsara cycle/????.
Also the concept of like
Somebody 250 years later accidentally digging into my grave site.
In league of legends I like the coffin’s bilgewater uses
And seeing a coffin that looks like a gaming pc

RGB lighting still working after 300 years trust
oh hanging coffins
that's great
That’s pretty cool
I always kinda liked the idea of just
Walking out into the wildness and dying once you get old some tribes used to do
Seeing a coffin that looks like anime waifu with rubber boobs.
Sea scarabs are often the ones who crack open the coffins
Seeing the sun/moon before you die does sound nice honestly
are they considered as pests or just natural scavengers
And yeah they do have creepy arms
Unless if the future has it so that every city looks like India/China's smog covered sky then nvm

Natural scavengers, they’re decently smart
Free loot boxes
The one part people don’t like is uh
The arms
They get really freaked out by the arms
LET'S GO GAMBLING!
opens coffin
AH DANG IT!
So they aren't hunted for desecrating graves huh
They get called false drowned sometimes lol
Because uh
Their arms look like weird waterlogged flesh
And sometimes you see them on the surfsce

Ah hell nah

Bro idk how people could handle like
People hanging near the streets
They’re in the water
Yeah ik
And the concept of like
Walking on the docks and then seeing a dead person's face
Would freak me the fuck out
Tbh it’s not a persons face
The dark secret is, the value of human life we hold is a privilege
It just looks like a persons arms
And not something that has been common through history
That's even worse
And I hope to God it stays that way

Emperor be lik-
There won’t be any bodies
Yet despite the name, HR departments are notoriously filled with assholes.
Nah the name is correct
Human
Resources
It do be that way

Tbh bilgewater also has actual horrifying creatures
Sea scarabs being around is good
Because it tells you there’s nothing horrifying around
"I made a new friend today, a mermaid! She wanted me to swim with her and offered to teach me! I'm sneaking out after supper to see her!" - Poe Buckler, current whereabouts unknown
That’s why we don’t go to Bilgewater
Tbf that kid was never gonna last long being that dumb
How tf does that monster even know human language
Evil magic
at least the mouth is human.
That’s not the mouth
More importantly how does it work
It’s a demon
Prolly
Or it’s one of the evil intelligent fish
Eh fuck it thinking too much about it
Oh yeah there’s evil intelligent fish
seriously for being the so-called land of the free it sure has the land of the free ways of getting killed
like bilge walter is one of the most dangerous places in runeterra
the sea creatures there are ******* horrifying
Still has a human looking part to it.
All I gotta do is isolate that part, chain the rest, and it should all be good...
Piltover meanwhile: See this is why Fascism is actually based

Now kiss the curb citizen
||America||
shit like this live in its oceans
I’m doing the internet thing of authoritarianism = fascist
Oh no I didn't pay my taxes for the ocean looks like this giant fuck ass is just gonna kill me
Hey at least he’ll just kill you
Bilgewater is fucked
Should have paid the tithe
It’s just 1 silver serpent
You cheap bitch
Okay genuine question
I don't really think it matters too much anyways.
The regime knows best(tm)
I don’t care who the ocean sends
Why the fuck are the fish running a protection racket
Yeah but like if i accidentally forget it i'm already cooked
I am not paying my taxes
Fish food
Shiny
They like the high quality stuff
Lol
probably the sea dragonwanting it all
Imagine one those mfs literally going up to Bilgewater
Greedy ass the sea dweller
"Hey can I have some fish food"
It was just like
Tradition
And then it started actually having consequences
Protection racket for the protection racket
When people stopped paying the oceans tithe
No clue how the tradition started
Therefore you need get gold from humans
But the fish now want their coins lol
Ah the classic “grandmas silly superstition is actually real and scary” trope
Either Nautalis smashes your ship
Therefore start a protection racket
Or the fish get ya
is Bilgewater has something around it that causes that area of the ocean to be just that
Captain says kill fish, fish says kill captain. Makes sense to me
or are the entire oceans of runeterra fucked
No, it’s just like this
Lol
Probably this honestly
Runeterras deep water oceans are fucked
Lol
The more shallower close to shore parts
Are fineish
But deepwater open ocean is horrifying
"Can't have shit in Runeterra's oceans"

Just like irl
Except with fish mafias
...do fish fight each for gold
Is there a fish underworld?
No
So do they say you’ll be sleeping with the fishes?
The evil necromancy fish
Have something called the swimming city
Unclear if the name is literal or not
But pyke talks about it a lot
And nautilus mentions it
Both of them got fished
why the fuck is the ocean running the worst ecosystem grocery i have ever seen
You pay me silver I give you some fish that will still kill you and monsters that will eat you
because if you don't pay i will send a giant armoured monster to kill you
but if i don't like you i will send a guy that drowned to kill you
damn the ocean yakuza of bilgewater does not take shit
Can't have shit in Runeterra's oceans
Tbf, the fish are prolly unhappy whenever they get stabbed
Or their friend gets harvested
Well maybe they shouldn't have been so delicious
...
Actually that's probably the fish's response as well to humans
💀
We know jaull fish are one of the main fish species behind this
But jaull fish often don’t get killed
So what’s Nautilus’s deal
They just get a lot of magical pouches harvested from their
Uh
Mouth
With a knife pm
So kinda similar to how shark fin soup is made.
Fish up a shark
Cut their fins off
Throw them and watch them squirm while they bleed out and die because they got the equivalent of their legs taken away
Was part of a diving crew, one day when he went out deep ocean diving the captain refused to pay the tithe, they eventually came across some creepy black muck
Nautilus was told to dive in
As it was his job, so he did that
He brought up some gold initially, slick with the black sludge
He was sent down again and again and again
So basically
He realized the Fish had better pay
And then nothing bad happened?
Until eventually the chain snapped
And then nautilus fell asleep
When he woke up again he was in a strange city, surrounded by darkness
He felt as if he was made of it, and he was full of hatred towards the captain, the captain who refused to pay the tithe
Now he strikes down anyone who doesn’t pay the tithe
And by strike down I mean he destroys their ship
So basically
Splashes out of the water
"I HAVE ORGANIZED A UNION."
"AND IT'S CALLED PAY ME OR GET FUCKED."

Cool
He also accepts payments
Before he destroys your ship btw lol
If the anchor gets launched
Up
But you toss the tithe
He stops
Tldr nautilus hates greedy people
can i pay him after he destroys my ship and almost kills me
Man gangplank must be his number one op
Gangplank pays the tithe
I thought he was Dumber but hey he's not that dumb
Is the Tithe even that much?
just 1 silver serpent
Which is 1 silver coin
So it’s literally just a
Pretty much any sailor can afford it
Fuck you I’m not paying taxes moment?
Yes
Hell, if the entire crew refuses to pay the tithe
Like not one person
I mean…..
yeah but the tax collector is a giant warship sized living armour
If it happens, it happens at the that lol
that uses a literal anchor as a weapon
It’s 1 silver serpent or 1 gold kraken. Depending on what in universe version of the tradition you follow
But like
are those the only two things that work
can i throw like valuable gemstones or something
when i have nothing else
Are Votann Squats abhuman? Or they are just another group of Xenos?
Those also work
They’re abhumans, but they consider themselves xenos
Abhuman but very far removed
thanks.
Or reproduce
huh?
The Votann make them all
cloning?
yeah they're just like goliath
What about the ones living in Necromunda?
They’re a different offshoot
Abhumans but don't fit on the category
Call themselves abhumans
We assume they have sex
they're actually normal squats
Kin
are actually clones
They gotta be having kids lol
So they don't have ties with Votann?
They probably did but
Dwarves basically separate into two groups
The ones that lived in real space and the ones that was in the galactic core becoming the Votan
they used to be the same ancestors but they diverged in life
They helped rebuild Necromunda after the heresy
And have been there since
Mining deeper
And deeper
Soon….
I mean why not?
Wouldnt put it past Munda
The most widespread currency in runeterra is the Noxian Securi, and those are confirmed to work
I’d assume as long as the fish identify it as something of value it works
Of course the noxian currency is the most well spread
OK like say theoretically they conquer like the whole of runterra
what the hell are they gonna do after that anyway
Uh
Don’t worry about it
Jokes aside try to seal the void off for good
And kill mordekaiser
then they just manage the supercontinent they just got for themselves i guess
Though more likely scally serpent like, if it's the Delague things
Piltover and zaun’s currency is goofy
Golden hexes, silver cogs, bronze washers
It’s also the second most common currency because they’re a major port city
say wolf
is the elder dragon the most powerful dragon in runeterra
good enough
Yeah it's literally a champion in legends of runeterra
i was meaning around that sense of native to the world of runterra
like yeah asol basically no difs everyone
Well
Then yeah
I can’t use any of the wwird
Targon dragons
That might not be from runeterra
Then yeah elder dragon wins
But if we're going by the universe then yeah you ain't beating a sol
the guy forges literal stars and crushes them on his hand
Found on FB
In light of the old world reveals
The world eater lads are have a meltdown
Cathay is the only truly exciting thing coming out from that reveal
Everything else is just so…lacklustre
Baby carriage spam
Marine spam
One new model per remaining cult legion
Nids VS AdMech kill team is…eh.
Kill team was pretty good
New ravenors is fun
New cities spearhead is weird
And more respectful than whatever the hell grey nights got
All ranged
I mean, admittedly, yes and no.
The Ravenors are definitely nice, so is Nid terrain
But I can’t imagine Ad Mech servitors doing THAT much
Yea but like I don’t see it doing well at all
I will trust the judgment of the person that plays then
Our fusiliers are basically just weaker archers and they’re our only real frontline
I guess the wildercorp are the real frontline
Admech are pretty creative with servitors
They can do a lot
Well I will wait for the datacard(s) to see what they do for big 40k
I actually really like seeing new servitor models, been ages since the last ones we got
Yeah they are usually just background props for stories
I'm glad they got something
I recon they work fine in the game too, the priest probably has some buffs for them that increase the capabilities of the servitors exponentially
probably a pretty fun team to play
Just waiting on the Cathay/Border Princes lists to see if I can actually do a Cathay/Bretonnia hybrid army.
(Willing to accept Cathay/Empire as a substitute)
Unlikely, but one can hope.
Like unless our battletome changes things around I don’t see the spearhead doing that great
And I may be wrong but I thought the Alchemite warforger only buffs melee units, so odd to have him in a ranged list
He buffs armor
He’s at least a wizard
Throne damn it.
Anxiety about a relatively minor thing in the grand scheme of life is winding me up.
most world conquerors in history never thought this far ahead
many HH books say full and unabridged, I think that an abridged version would not go amiss though
in fact one COULD argue one of the strongest reasons Rome fell was because it reached a limit to how much it could conquer
I would imagine there would be some meme abridged version as a YouTube video somewhere
there’s like, 3 grey knight profiles that don’t have models
And we got
An upgrade sprue for one model
Get upgraded bozo
Also I forsee another massive Ebay niche market
Selling all the Cathay miniature heads
For people who want a more Asian look to their GW minis
Grey Knights and Deathwatch are the only Marines untouched by "Primarism" for now
For stubborn old stylists like myself, there is comfort in that.
I didn't ask for a meme, I asked for an abridged version. When you read the abridged les miserables or moby dick, it's not just a picture of a loaf of bread titled "4 teh l0Lzzz" or a picture of a White whale going "call me Skibidi-mael"
Woah woah woah chill
But anyways, yes, a proper abridged version exists somewhere
On the internet
I spent way too long coming up with skibidi-mael for you to think it came from anger
Ah sorry tagged the wrong mental voice for it 😅
Yeah that’s probably right
I must be remembering last edition, I thought he buffed melee weapons
nah that's what they do
extra saves because of the armour enhancements
Huh
i'm suprised they don't have a debuff ability
yea last ed I think alchemite could apply mortals on crit (for everything) to a unit, later got rewritten into applying only to melee attacks (to stop the dominant use of buffing large blocks of fusiliers)
It was a spell that everyone used
I can’t even make jokes, a space marine vs space marine vs space marine vs space marine vs space marine event on a planet that is well known for ork vs guard
eh you get used to it
marines are the money makers
in the grim darkness of the 41st millennium, space marines still pay for everyone's bills
Given everything they've been through how strong are the Rejects?
Competent inquisition Killteam
I had like 4 friends message me in the morning saying "no Steel Legion reveals rip"
they siad the demon index thing was a litearl mistake
which is really funny
and then said they are adding him to the we codex
i need to motivate my self to study
🫡
also is nayone actually excited for a melee character for world eaters?
if the greykngihts even got a brother champion
i would have siad it was the worst 40k release
nah khorne doesn't have a gun so he didn't shoot
i think the KT reveal was pretty neat, every other 40k release was mid
the dreadknight was dreadful but thats nothing new
the killteam reveal was the best t
yeah but he was already revealed \
guh
SW kits were pretty nice, and that's coming from someone who despises the wolves
oh yeah army boxes
I do not like the new ksons robots
they somehow look more egyptian than the egyptian robots that is the necrons
Poxpoxpoxpoxpox
its the paint job
the models are cool, the paint style just looks like shit
the same combat patrol, agian lmao
the fact that nobody could tell that dreadknight is a new mini killed me
i was in a VC and people were wheezing
That's not the combat patrol though
They look so out of place next to the rest of them
Lmaooo
let me check store
They on ozempic
how do these things that are supposedly big machines that by the look of it seems to be able to power or match a Terminator
look skinnier than an unfed child
wtf
WE USE A FW KIT??
We got necrons at home
I thought they looked weird, but they are slowly warming upt o me
wish they wer enay othe rcolor
well the fun thing about color is that can change
i agree the robots legit look like Forgeworld models
the models themselves however, wtf
its 100% the shitty paintjob
Sekhetar Robots my guy
OH
i hate the back is generic robot
Bony colour doesn't really work but I can tell they'd look very nice with a more fitting scheme
They look like there from a completely different setting
i didnt pay attention i thought these were actually like
new terminators or something
doused in coom instead of jizzy blue/yellow
as robots they're not that bad
Yeah the amount of times a good paint job can save models
is
funny
I could see this in like some indie War game like malifaux
what it looks like is like
i'm gonna kill you in the most violent way i know
they bought the robot from 40k Home Depot and then put their custom skin on it
like with the back being so different
THEY LOOK LIEK COD SKINS
They’re not melee focused, they’re weapons platforms
LEGIT LOOK LIKE SKINS FOR WARZONE
yeah
the Sikhsekhtor robots?
wait so the Blue Birds get the cool robots what a surprise
Sekhetar Robots how did you spell it like you drank acid
bro do not even remind me
overly detailed with no color variety lmao
Titanussy
I have the master splinter warzone skin
Pretty easy to fix with a new paint job, same with the Ravenors
honestly when it comes to minis i take in sculpting detail and modelling when I'm looking at it from an official GW painted product
It’s nice to have a good presentation and it’s not the worst but it’s not how I’d do it
Like I get it paint is important on making a gw mini look good but these things arrive to customers unassembled and not painted
Or how I expect to see it
so may as well look at it from a textural standpoint
More color coordination with the metal parts and shell would look better
For gw standards I'm a bit shocked by that
It’s not a bad paint job it’s just not what I think you should do with it
It looks like its a one pose kit
I wouldn’t contrast the metal with the shell
Same as the Ravenors, I don’t care for the parts they contrast and probably would like them more with a different hive fleet look
New ravenors?
I'm not sure how I feel about these
i'm quite suprised and Glad they went with Raveners
They have more detail which is nice
i would have fully expected lictors
It’s amusing how the first Nid Killteam is one of the smallest and most elite
Lictors would have been nicer
Only five units
I disagree, especially with the tunneling aspect
Also, as much as it’s a meme
Lictors don’t team up
Whats the other type called
it's gonna be boring
Von Ryan’s Leaper
Deathleapers
That's a character
They hunt In packs
It could have been essentially any tyranid so thats fine imo
considering all these raveners are just madeup for this KT
so thats nothing too shocking
Anyways, the idea is cool. The tunnel aspect is gonna be interesting
I’m gonna tunnel your ass with my foot
Ah not deathleaper then
Yeah just Raveners
they prob wanted to do something underground to begin with
so a GW guy was like
"What nid unit does underground stuff?"
🧠
Honestly it also does an amazing job on showing how flexible tyranid bio templates are
They probably had the idea of going inverted with the concept and doing a smaller elite team to contrast with what Nids typically are
It's literally five types of Raveners
Doing their own different thing
It really explains how the hive mind is just that based
Curious how the Ad Mech guys will play
Considering any form of tyranid can be made from anything it checks out
realistically hivefleets would have like tons of unseen bioforms for specific things but tabletop game so
Lots of Iron Hand head bits there…
I do remember specifically reading somewhere about a pack of lictors tho thats why I thought it was the deathleaper
It’s way to expensive but they’d be fun to make a Medusan Auxilia with
Maybe small scale
i will say these are like the highest quality Servitors i have seen
they look like they are designed to be better because of their way their jobs are
They got some character
Its also mostly because the only servitor model we had is like over 10 years old lol
playdough ahhh

this guy right here plays solo damnation thunder hammer zealot
Technomedic Servitor is, such a funny title
I wonder if he’s programmed with puns after blasting the enemy
hey @arctic talon do you have that chaos knight leak?
these dont even look like admech models tbh lmao
i guess they are just, random servators
i know
That’s, kinda their thing
but my rbain is just rotted by seeing it in other armies
Your brain was rotted long before then
lmao
Wud yooz radder be kunningly brootal, or brootally kunningz?
I’d rather you suck start a sh- I mean uh fuck idk
Kinky

fat fucks have landed
oh they actually updated the acastus
i like that one more
much less
Tank looking
it's a separate thing
I prefer the look of the one on the left though
the one I linked is the Asterius and the taller one is Porphyrion
Im looking forward to the chaos knights
(I do not think they’re ugly I just like using Steiner gifs)
If they're all plastic and same scale, I'm gonna get them in 40k
Yeah just rare generally
they've got 40k rules so I recon so
if someone knows how to extract gifs from twitter posts please do so
Wrong grp
Many thanks
the cathay stuff looks clean
it doesn't loop as well as on twitter 😔
Yeah it was just like go to Google search up twiiter gif extractor and then do that
those I know of, but was hoping for something better
yeah it's the only one i got
and bro to be honest probably the least path of resistance
Possibly
is there knight armies in horus heresy
adn do they use the same patterns as the 40k game?
I don’t know a ton about heresy knights so idk the specifics
40k has rules for all of the hh knights, i just checked teh store page and yeah hh has the 40k kngihts
Army list construction is far, far more modular. Every piece of wargear that is not standard load out has a points cost.
You have to use and obey a Force Organization chart. One HQ and two Troop choices are compulsory, standard.
Solar Auxilia and Marines have access to things called "Rites of War" that shift things around for listbuilding.
Taking allies is always an option unless explicitly forbidden, but alliance politics is also more complex.
You always have to declare Traitor/Loyalist allegiance. Same allegiance infighting each other counts as a win for the opposite instead.
Just the key differences off the top of my head
Oh and vehicles still run by the Armour Value system
uhg i need to make a knight house
Ugh im still kinda salty about primaris marines
What's about it this time?
Are my complaints going to be anything new?
its more of the same fucking models, i didnt even realize the grey hunters and wolf hunters and claw hunters were differnet kits
It bothers me that chaos space marine are all shortstacks now when they fight primarises on the battlefield
Yea another reason I dislike Primaris scaling up
specifically that was my issue but yeah practically speaking they scaled up chaos
so they're the same height as primaris
yeah
dont ask me how its supposed to work in lore at all or whatever
“The warp did it” lol
frankly im just waiting for them to update chaos so they also have primaris or whatever
Im talking lorewise, but the fact they had to scale up the models sounds like a huge cope
its proportions as well as scale
its inevitable that chaos primaris will be a thing
and then balance will be restored
Which is currently lore accurate
Well they do now in comparison
nah, they don't
no his point is that 40k is moving to a more realistic scale
while before it was hero scale
comically large guns, heads, etc etc
yeah exactly
Nobody noticed until they primarises came around thats the problem lolll
"bro are our legs that stubby??"
well primaris was their first model line that went real scale
so ofc everything else is gonna look wonky by comparison
part of why they updated everything else (more or less) at the same time
its not that nobody noticed, its that they went for different proportions deliberately
it was a deliberate change along with making them bigger
I just wish primaris was just a new set of armor and technology, not a new super saijin level of space marine
personally i wish they didnt say primaris were taller
so then they could both be the same height
and all would be well
Primaris are taller, stronger AND faster AND have MORE STABLE gene seed
i dont really mind the rest of it
the height thing is purely just because of the aesthetics vs chaos
which is muted on the tabletop like panto says
and everywhere else
primaris regularly job to normal marines all the time anyway
I just hate it cuz, lore wise, primaris literally cannot use any older equipment cuz its too small for them
thats made up lore lol
i wish the repulsor wasnt, well, a repulsing vehicle
i wish it had treads like everything else in the imperium
but whatever, they have land speeders so i guess it kinda makes sense
i dont mind the floaty vehicles
but i like it when ppl convert them to have tracks
they always look cool
its not the end of the world
i do think tracks fit the imperial aesthetic better
BUT if anything were to have more floaty vehicles, i guess it should be space marines
i think the floaty vehicles look funny
Dude, the imperium had to big up EVERYTHING for primarises. You think rhinos could fit 10 primarises? Nah EVERY rhino in the galaxy had to be embiggened to fit 10 primarises
Cawl didn't even think this thru
did that really happen?
I dont see why primaris is such a big deal
It really happened bro i talked to guilliman himself, he said it was a pain.
You still have firstborns
imagine being mad about primaris going on 10 years later
Things get improved and evolve over time
Jesus has it really been 10 years? I only come into 40k fandom once in a while tbh.
People hate change.
Primaris were also treated as the "next big, better thing"
No, actually, dude has a point. I do recall Primaris lore stating Primaris are physically larger than Firstborns.
along with many aesthetic changes etc
I mean yeah, they are
they are, yes
I mean they dont need to be though
I guess for someone like me who is a newer fan its not really a big deal
But they have the rubicon surgery so it all evens out
They are litterally bigger and better than firstborn tho
It was probably a weird thing to adapt to for older fans
Yeah thats what im saying
lmao
rejects are the next big, better thing than normal killteams
I very much get why people dislike primaris, its not that weird of a thing imo.
i dont care as muc habout it
I only hate their drip
My dislike is more from how ham fisted GW introduced them
