They’re the only faction I have the cape for
I have the cape for Illuminate and bugs
Though I didn’t play much
There’s a reason they’re done last
I love tank that can instakill and call reinforcments

and also has like 12 fucking people in it
I need to learn commando so I can just obliterate them
ngl
I almost wish they didn't implement the illuminate in 2 yet
they're not fucking done lol
they're barely a 1/3rd of a faction with none of their actual gimmicks from 1
Yeah not by a long shot
unless you count having personal energy shields(I don't)
I’ll live without control fuckery thank you very much
If they add in councilers I don't think they'll invert movement controls
I think they will invert fire/aim + stratagem inputs though
LOL
I think EMS balls would be likely
The height of technological accomplishment re geared for war when I crack out my 7.62 machine gun
LOL
I should not be able to sweep an entire faction with More Gun
tbf they did lack heavy armor in 1
but they had other bullshit to make up for it lOL
Obelisk?
Obelisk was light armor most of the time tbf
since it needed to crack itself open
That was meant to be me agreeing
So am I
You could absolutely go rounds per minute in 1, but you actually had to find targets and keep distance
Their mediums are very content to keep distance and their fodder just gets eaten by anything with a fire rate
And the tripods are slow as shit
yeah
He must be a fake fan then
true now give the amazon series to Ian watson
This has been news for
Months
How are we doing old memes on fucking pregnancy announcements
its like a 6 month window from when people announce it

She’s probably gonna have the baby in a few weeks iirc when it was announced
Wait
She gave birth in January, dear God
That’s what I remembered

😅
morning chat
Meanwhile I am trying to evaluate whether someone is a romance scammer lol
Whats a romance scammer
Message you out of the blue and have an attractive pfp generally
Oh
“hey baby I was looking at your profile” type shit
Od tell them You probably need to get your eyes checked
hehehe
Well in my case it’s more the fact that it is a Romanian, known to be active in these fields…
But on the other hand she is already in the UK for 10+ years supposedly, so that is one less thing to scam (money for visa)…
Then again, I can’t verify her profile beyond the dating app itself…
You're actually talking to them damn that's some balls I would be scared it's someone I know lmao
The trick is…
(1) Not to get emotionally invested in the act of texting. Your brain likes to think constant texting is intimacy. It…frankly isn’t, not until you actually meet.
(2) Bail as soon as anyone starts asking you for money for anything. Usually they are really only after you giving your money willingly to them.
(3) Never travel to regions outside of your country (or knowledge, depending on your confidence) to meet them. Always meet where you know for sure easy access to help for you is available, and you have physical routes of retreat.
Ultimately despite my suspicions, I don’t want to immediately accuse them of being a scammer, but it is always good to have an escape if it turns out she really IS a scammer.
basically yeah just use common sense, it is also considerably safer as a man unless you have 0 survival instinct at all
as a guy worst case you just get blackmailed or something
frankly if your first date idea is anything in public then you're already exercising common sense
hey guys, if any players from Türkiye are interested in WH40K lore, check this YT channel out: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCznvaheOfZG29ZcJBNU5Hwg
@storm jungle Can you test the water on this one?
Also, never send compromising photos of yourself (it should go without saying but apparently the number of men throwing their “private” pics around is just…)
Yea, right now, we are chatting world history, so the worst that happens is she cuts and run after getting bored of the history chat 😅
this is always a scam.
Yea, there's no real people on the internet
One day I’ll find my princess of obscure nobility who also posts bikini photos online messaging random men for assistance
hence the part about the blackmail
But they just need my social security number and debit card so they can get their money from their rich family
Also Google store cards
I don't even get the scammers bruh
I recently had an uptick on discord.
You typically get them in you exist in pretty much any public server
Yeah
Or they might just be people genuinely trying to be my friend
The worst kind of scammer
@vagrant fox I read Dark Age in one day

759 pages
I don't think my soul will recover
Took about 5-6 hours
you'z built different
It seems you encounter only light resistance 🫡
Space wolf fans experience
oh god the cat shaped lictor is eating that felinid's brains
So true

freakin uuh hark deez
Love is not real, it is primitive temptation.
One I am glad to have 😌
Some of the best things are deep and primal in nature, does that make them less valid?
Is that why it is accompanied by violence sometimes?
The idoneth update must be fucking huge considering the complete lack of AOS news as of late
Yeah and the ko as well
The sky stunties
The KO update is gonna be revolutionary for the army lmao
God knows the terrain but endless spells could make half of the heroes viable
It’s like
Maybe they will actually get ground vehicles
Hey the airships are great but i wouldn't mind some tanks or buggys
I mean lore wise they can’t really use them
Yeah most of their things are designed to work in the air because that's where they live
Oh that's a nice idea
Ko jet skis lmao
Yeah but they already have like those right
On the role anyway
The
Gunhauler
Like fast and good for hit and runs
Unless you're thinking of a battering ram skybike
It's just one guy with like a sky bike with saws in front of it
Why are ogres so boring and annoying to fight
In total war or
Well that's just the ai for you
AoE spells affect them disproportionately HORRIBLY because they're such small units sizes
Ogres genuinely one of the factions that require good players to really even
Work late game
Like they are literally targets
And single target spells are throwing because lmao there's 40 units
For every faction they are in
Be lucky that's what you're dealing with
You wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of a stack of iron guts
With the dlc? If they get their hands on those new units you're going to suffer away more
I think I just need to play safer against them because Ku'gath does not go into them well
Yeah uh
The faction of AoE vs. the faction of 5 dudes per unit, all with high health
You want to have a chance of winning against them as nurgle
You need to bring your
Anti large units
Which funnelly enough plague ogres anti large work well
But unlocking them is going to take a while so
You need to expand away from the mountains of mourn
I was going to say
Greasus is basically disgusting with his confederation
Best I got is anti-infantry
Which, 40 ogre bull units are all infantry but Idk if that still applies since they're monstrous
Funny enough, Greasus is the one that GOT confederated
Anti-large is the thing against them
Yeah it's like the most effective way of killing them
iirc
By Sons of the Mountain
Without anto large good luck
Greasus always out confederates most of the time anyway
But that is pretty funny
Yeah my main expansion was into the mountain
Dwarves and ogres teaming up to violate me
It does offer a lot of settlements but then again
Ogres can basically bully your army if you only have infantry
And have no way of dealing with them
Like your frontline will be obliterated by a head on collision with them
Blight boil spell is like the only thing that affects them
And of all of them are low mass infantry
They're going to paint the ground green with your blood
Yeah and to be honest you're playing ku gath
That expedition really fucked me and put Ku'gath way out of position
You have to deal with an old man that can turn zombies into an unstoppable horde
And incredibly angry chaos dwarves on the other direction
Thank god I obliterated Helman instantly with the help of local rats
Idk what they did but Ku'gath start doesn't feel fucking impossible now
The new dlc definitely help
Easier access to plagues and stuff
But my main man is grimgor so
What is the new dlc
Everytime i pray that Tamurkhan gets wiped or i have to deal with him
I was talking about
Tamurkhan
Which is relatively new
But yeah new mechanics and new units definitely help
But my god
Tamurkhan
Is fucked
To fight as grimgor
Because he gets Bubolos pretty early
And he becomes a giant monster that is anti-infantry
Guess what
Grimgor is infantry
You can guess what is going to happen
Man I love the new plague system
It used to be this annoying grindfest of spamming symptoms to unlock new ones, which you barely could afford to do because infection and economy sucked
But now econ feels better for whatever reason, and the plague creation feels awesome now and is not what it was before
"The Ursarax are not full-blown automata so much as a jumble of a living soldier’s important internal bits encased in a hard shell and strapped to a jetpack."
Yeah they’re just like thallax
Same setup
Just different armor
Warcrimes with jetpacks
Oh hey cool war crimes
Although I have to ask why don't they just take the brain
Like does the robot need guts

Maybe they haven't learned how to remove guts from brain?
Or maybe the movement of the rest of the body requires biological mass in the center?

Yes
There’s some body functions required for the lorica thallax armor
It has a shit-bag in there
The skeleton isn’t necessary though
But the nervous system, heart, skull
A few other organs
Are all necessary
It’s likely the lorica thallax is some really fucked up long term survival armor
The whole internal reactor that works forever, constant stream of drugs to keep you functioning, 360 degree vision
Ect.
Lol
lmaooo
And yet, the SM stuck with dreadnought.
The dreadnought doesn’t torture you
Also you put a normal person
Into a thallax/ursarax
You don’t put a mutilated person in
You mutilate a person to put in
It’s a pretty complex process
The dreadnought doesn’t intentionally keep you in pain and reward you with pain killers when you tear an orphan in half
Is that better

So it's closer to a Killa Kan
...
Yeah honestly it’s closer to a killa kan
There’s a difference okay
You can’t just put someone who got blown in half into a thallax
You gotta extract the entire nervous system
Several organs, the skull and heart
Brain
And then implement the cybernetics before you put them into the lorica thallax
Headcanon: the vast majority (maybe like 95%) of strike teams sent out by grendyl die horribly with nothing to show for it, that's why they're sent to do stuff that would be REALLY nice if it got done, but won't crush the war effort if they fail. And the player character(s) coming back at all, let alone consistently getting shit done, is why they're treated with such reverence by the crew of the mourningstar (the regular soldiers i mean, the ones who go "you're so cool <333" when you walk past)
Not a head canon
This might all be fully canon or heavily implied but it's just something i thought
I mean it puts it into perspective in a cool way imo.
Yea, pretty much every other group dies, we're the canon group that keeps winning
Imo it’s the like
The average player at darktide is still a legend in lore
2 of each personality + gender combo
And then the 3 ogryns
Those like 21?
Are the rejects who canonically have gotten this far
I was just thinking cause like theres absolutely no way you would deploy only 4 guys against a veteran fighting force like the traitor guard if you actually desperately needed something done
Tbh regarding the like numbers we face in game
They’re totally off
Regarding like ratios
The Moebian 6th would be extinct
And like since you're the protagonists you make mincemeat of the soldiers but in lore they absolutely are supposed to be an elite fighting force, these aren't minimum wage mall cops, these are like marines imbued with the power of sniffles satan
LOL
But for most deployments I’d say the rejects would mainly be fighting poxwalkers and cultists
Fair i'd agree
If the 6th show up it’s a bad time for the average reject team
Id agree yee. I feel like the most realistic numbers would be like, uprising
Also keep in mind at this point in the game we specifically get sent on missions only we can do
so its not even launch-state missions they send any rando hobo at
Yeah
You don’t call the fresh out of training idiots for the cathedral with then green indoor lightning storm above it
^
the new missions are all actual important operations
The Moebian steel one, rolling steel
and they only happen 1 time canonically
And the cathedral one
We were handpicked as far back as orthus right
Yeah
Every mission post-commsplex has happened once
only Dreyko is a repeat one with a Phase 2 mission edit
since the first incursions were us studying the tree
Foundry plex?
They altered the dialogue to include Moebian steel
Also more headcanons:
the inquisitorial strike teams you play as in game could beat titus from space marine 2 in a 4-1
The male and female loose cannons are siblings who have like, two impish little gremlins plotting mischief sorta energy together, and the professionals are also siblings, but they hate each other and have a rivalry
Easily
Titus loses armor after like 1 claw swipe, a single knife zealot would kill an entire space marine tactical squad 💀
Headcanons: > Wolfer was actually a nice guy before nurgle inserted his brainworms
I mean
"nice" by Imperial terms probably
I'm pretty sure Martyr skulls tell us he was super tough before
tough but fair or whatever
Nice by imperial terms is still saintly compared to the average inquisitor
He also gave personal officer training right
I mean
Should've specified Imm still doing headcanons here
Titus would explode to some of our gear lol
Imperial Guardsmen can be absolutely as worse too lol
Or the Psyker
They’re capable of doing it, doesn’t mean they can, it’s a long shot.
Based
I love killing children
They definitely can considering space marines can die to about anything in books just like anyone. Powerscaling in this universe is not really worth the argument.
Well they're people
I said they can
shut up christopher
They’re the odds aren’t in their favor though
I meant the guardsmen
I'm just saying they're capable if cruelty
In 40k the only thing limiting your inner cruelty is your ability to commit warcrimes
Space marines make no sense if you're assessing them based on what's said in xenos codexes tbf
Pfff
True
warhammer don't make sense half the time anyway
Damn you mean to tell me 40k isn’t fully logical and you have to handwave some stuff
That’s crazy
I mean
xenos codexes dont say anything about space marines
You’re the first person to come to this conclusion I think
The judge zealots are the male and female zealots on the front page when you make a new character
I meant like, stuff like "tau pulse rifles can punch straight through a space marine's armor"
Headcanons bruv
I prefer if we just do a cannon to your head
Well yeah its plasma
tau just kinda forget to fight
Can u not bro
Im just trying to say I agree that 40k makes no sense and rationalising it like that will give you a migraine
It’s a useless statement
Was just using an example
There’s inconsistencies sure and it doesn’t all make sense but you can still discuss it
Like anything else
most people just dont really want to accept it as reality is the thing
you get people being upset about it constantly
It’s just a thought destroying statement, we all know it’s no consistent
I mean pulse rifles can pierce power armor lol
It doesn’t add anything
That’s like a consistent thing
It’s not always tbf but
It’s mostly consistent
Generally they do
Even in like imperium focused books yeah
When the reality of these statements change from novel to novel its not really worth the debate most of the tim etbh.
The Tau cannot shoot you if you simply grab his gun
This box art is always so funny lol
it got memed to death and rightfulyl so tbf
Lots of good faces too on it

Should've specified that powerscaling makes no sense and is inconsistent
I do love tho like how tau do nothing but almost lose in every single artwork they are in
its such a funny trope
Not really
it works on WWE wrestling logic
Im literally
They’re winning in a lot of their art
Ok we all know that, it’s just fun to discuss stuff
gonna go gather it
I mean
explain yourself
post the tau losing, fuel my ego
Because I can think of like
Multiple they’re winning in
Like the Codex cover, and that one other piece with the csm
And uh
I don’t remember
Fuck
LMAO
I like the energy here. It looks less like the sm is about to kill the tau and more like he's a disappointed parent who just found his kid playing with a knife
💀
trust me when i say they get annihilated in a lot of it
A girl needs hobbies
Just off like five seconds on Google
Good analogy
There’s more I know
jesus
KIND of
Well yeah but the statement was “I do love tho like how tau do nothing but almost lose in every single artwork they are in”
the general rule is uh
them firing point blank
nothing happens
theres some rare exceptions obviously
I'll gather em in a bit
The horde
im watching batman with a friend atm lol
art collector, is this from the 10th ed eldar codex
9th
you can tell because its too clean
wack
I should, uh, acquire some codexes for perusing
It’s based on the forgeworld khaine mini
You can tell bcs he’s so slim
- the chest decoration
its 9th
I know there’s art where they lose, that wasn’t the claim or what Elite was disagreeing with
trust me, im autistic as hell with this
I dont care man 💀
The point is, there’s a lot of art they’re evenly matched or winning too
Well then don’t say it smh
"almost"
Miss Information smh
I found six pieces and there was a lot more within ten seconds
They have a lot of art where they’re doing fine
More headcanonsssssssss
The bodyguard ogryn on his off hours draws pictures of his adventures with the other rejects with crayons (that he also eats)
what are the crayons made out of, I wonder
Corpse starch
Should be a crayoff for when my nephew comes over
waste of corpse starch, make the crayons from industrial runoff with some coagulants
Settle down lil bro
Bro doesn’t know how to not mark up the table
Even better
I’m not little or your bro
are you though
My uncle is very tall
Glad I'm average height to the exact molecular level, everything is made for me
The brawler ogryn eats crayons habitually
Flights are hell for him lol
You die sooner, no leg room, back issues cause you gotta bend over all the time
Nothing fits right
Brawler eats the slab and the tin
Everything is slightly too small
Doesn’t even remove the tin
Absolutely
Boils the whole goddamn thing after opening it
And everyone makes the same jokes
How’s the weather up there
“How’s the Weather up there?”
Gottem

See, that's why I ask how's your spine lanklet instead
“Did you play basketball?”
Idk do you play mini golf?
I should have been born in medieval times
I could have died pillaging some town as Ulfar the Really Tall One at 21
Bodyguard ogryn and male seer psyker play some m41 equivalent to checkers or chess or something on their off time. Also thinking they share a hab space
LOL
I would've been born in the same rough 100 square kilometers and I would have died of starvation at either younger than 6 or in my mid 30s
Seer loses every time and rationalises it to himself by saying like "oh I'm just letting him win" but he knows that he's not
I never get to be the little spoon either
I am a victim of my own height
But it is nice reaching the top shelf so I got that going for me
I literally cannot reach the top shelf in grocery stores a lot of the time without getting on my toes

It helps a little with girls too but mostly as a conversation starter
Bodyguard has really imprecise movements (i imagine an ogryn playing chess would be like you trying to write on a typewriter with your feet) so he usually accidentally misplaces the pieces and then seer quickly puts them in their rightful place otherwise bg gets really sad and apologetic
First time cracking open Leviathan and I really like how smug this shit looks
Regicide seems like a fun board game
If only GW would give us actual rules
Not just chess game with a 40k skin
That’s ridiculous
Do I need to tap the sign again
also there @vagrant fox for you too
Dont care, you asked, you take it
This is a good reaction image
Another day in the lore chat another classic Eternal-Dilara moment
No one said they don’t play in art
one of my favs ngl
its so funny
Shut the fuck up christopher
Gonna sick Sil on you in a second here
anyway i needed to post those somewhere, take em
Also the pathfinder team canonically won this lmao
Death by fudge head
And then they died
How long is the time between Battlefleet Gothic 2 (13th Black Crusade) and Space Marine 2?
I HATE this artwork
its so goofy looking
everyone is like a frozen ragdoll
Brawler has long since eaten all of the pieces to the actual board game, so they make do with little trinkets they find lying around
10-15 years, but BFGA2 isn’t exactly canon
I don't know why but this guy is sorta really funny to me
He might be alive
Is the funniest thing
It’s impaling the power pack + jump pack
I like this one a lot
I thought that was like a stealth suit plushie the knight had for some reason
Man's just chilling hoping something goes well
damn forgot that one
As expected
Headcanons: Brawler is dumb BECAUSE of his bonehead implant, not in spite of it, the guys who did it didn't know what they were doing and accidentally fucked up his brain even more
Also, not entirely a headcanon, but I think that bg is probably like. The albert einstein of ogryns. He's mentally 12 years old instead of mentally 5 years old
I gotta start Sil posting
Kiryu trying to teach chat room sex workers how to flirt better
Everyone Pauly and Tony posts
Also that isn’t a headcanon there’s something horribly wrong with his implant
Not enough Sil posters
It’s literally cooking his head
Oh rlly? Neat
Maybe he’s just that dumb
But it literally smells like burning flesh
Thats not a headcannon
I like to imagine it’s both
The implant is cooking itself trying to make his brain work
he outright says its cooking his brain
He was stupid + it’s cooking his brain
Too many concussions
I love brawler sm
question. is there any space marine chapter called The Iron Brotherhood?
I'm homebrewing a space marine chapter and I wasn't sure if the name was already taken
Too many tanks headbutted
Haven’t heard of a name like that
He’s special even for Ogryns lol
For canon chapters
How would Darktide fit between these two? Does Darktide set before or after Space Marine 2?
Not that I can recall no
Darktide is very early into the indomitus crusade
So before sm2
They’re very close probably though
Maybe a couple years off
SM2 is very recent in the timeline
Yeah
You might wanna consider changing iron to something else, to avoid confusion with the iron hands and iron warriors, but if your heart's set on iron brotherhood go for it :>
Funny 4th tyrannic war
Pro tip; when you are making a homebrew faction in 40k, first of all just open google and type:
"40k [your homebrew faction name]"
Well kinda
Just steal
you can do better
And their lore will suck, so don’t worry about that
Oh fair
just be creative

You should call them the brotherhood of steel /j
Yeah cause it’s awesome
Metal Noun my beloved
Bronze Chaps
Metal of Noun my beloved
Still dope
Palladium Paladins
@storm jungle do you have the salamander like super man image
Make it a guard regiment
The Nickle Knights
Booooring 🗣️
Well the idea is I'm making a sucessor chapter for the Iron Hands and Iron Warriors who got lost in the warp during the heresy and was spat out on the edge of the galaxy. After the heresy ended, they continued fighting each other until they forgot why they were fighting and had a sit down realising they were so similar that they might as well be the same chapter.
I would maybe
Borax Brigade
Change the how they got together bit more lol
Brass talons, Silver Sons, Brazen Bulls, Copper eagles
Oh wait silver sons is taken
I just started writing it yesterday so I'm obviously working out the kinks
I just did a Blackshield Iron Hands Iron Warrior thing called the Iron Forged. I would have done Ironborn but
Someone ruined that
People really don’t give them though credit for ruining Season 8
Game of Thrones
Game of Thrones House/People
Golden Guard, maybe?
yeah the dumbass vikings
They’re cooler in the books but
Gilded angels
Gilded angels being an IH sucessor is funny
Have a Death Guard (Or Nurgle Iron Warrior) warband called the Heralds of the Cadmium Cross.
(Blank) Angels usually is a DA or BA sucessor
Copper angels and you could make them an angelic steampunk chapter
How it feels to kill trillions over the course of a few hours
Praise the Emperor
But also you don't need to name them something metal themed
The closest they get to a more traditional SM name thing like that is the Knights of Byzantium
Rigid Appendages
The idea of the chapter is inventive tactics, adaptable siege warfare, salvaging and upgrading ancient equipment to contend with modern 40k warfare.
They use small detachments of marines in heavy tanks, dreadnoughts and siege engines; supported by a ludicrous amount of tech marines.
"Steel Feet"
"Titanium Toes"
"Plasteel Balls"
STOP THIS
So
They're Iron Hands

Knights of byzantium is such a profoundly lame name im gonna be honest
"The Magnesium Magnates"
Its fine
There's far worse names
lol
"sons of jagathai"
Genefather: Unknown
Its a homebrew GW maybe made canon tbh, they look sick though.
still the funniest fucking thing ever
The fuck you mean you don't know who your dad is
Maybe its some other Jaghatai
like how 40k has 50 characters named Titus
It was an affair with Fulgrim

GW employee homebrews being made canon
If you want to lean more techno cultist with them you could have them be called the prophets of steel or something
oooh thats a good one, stealing it thanks
Oh really? Never mind then sorry.
victoria lamb my GOAT
We sorta accept it as canon since who cares but
Ohhhhhhhhhh okay I like fhat a lot
she's such a good painter lol
Its barely come up
this shit back in the day was utterly derranged I'm ngl
They're mentioned in a community article I think and maybe White Dwarf?
let me find her OSL stuff
Yeah knights of byzantium are in a white dwarf
- in a warcom article
they have some lore in the white dwarf one
You know its subtle
very subtle
Oh I remember these guys, they're fun
I can barely tell what they're inspired bty
But I think they might have Japanese influence
SHE WAS DOING THIS SHIT IN 2003 LOL
you can tell like
Like
a white person made this
the level of her painting quality
comapred to a lot of painters at the time is nuts
As opposed to the subtle designs we see come out of Japan?
I rlly like the concept of "successor chapters" tbh. Like, that historical continuity is neat and creative.Cause like, space marines are as much a cultural institution and a culture in their own right as a military order
Coming from the same studio as
arab
flying carpets
evil sorceror named jaffar
crusades
nippon samurai suicide bombers
clan toyota
id say yes
also pygmies if i gotta pull an uno card

She didn't work for GW though
She just did really high quality model work back in the day
Im saying in general, its still pretty blatant and boring
anyways go go sons of the phoenix
id make fun of it if it was any other faction so like it doesnt really make a difference
its lazy
tbh its more so the painting quality that does it for me
anyways Sons of the Phoenix are prolly my favorite from the recent batch of like
GW employee homebrew -> canon faction
Some of the necron dynasties were cool as well
the bone and orange one
I forgot the name of
I really like the bone one
Birthday cake flavour
LOL
literally only reason i remember them as a Chapter
"omg TRAITOR GENESEED"
shut the fuck up
PURPLE AND PHOENIX EC!!!!!!
wawee phoenix, purple
uaaagghhghhgh
the other idea I had for a homebrew chapter was basically Black Templars, but tech obsessed instead of faith obsessed. A fleet based crusading chapter who are experts at void warfare and breaching space hulks. best friends with the mechanicus due to their discoveries of numerous space hulks across the galaxy.
They also love the guard because they love recuiting them to be serfs for their chapter, and draw their recruits from their offspirng.
they are on the hunt for a suitable world to establish a fortress monestary.
STOP THIS
We've heard of loyalist successor chapters to traitor legions but what about traitor successor chapters to loyalist legions
Uhhh
its happens sometimes i guess
There's a lot lmao

cooked
This is kiiiiiinda just the iron hands afaik? But theres a ton of directions u could take this
All of these were loyalist sucessor chapters
Oh are we talking about cool successors?
No
Good or bad
Eye of the beholder
its good
OH you are here hai
ah yes the doom legion
but thats my opinion on most homebrew I read LOL
Yk i wish loyalist marines were allowed more variance in their designs. Maybe im not looking st the right chapters but it feels like all of the loyalists look the same save some accessories and colors, but the traitors are all verrrrryyy different. Like, word bearers look absolutely nothing like thousand sons
They do
you can make a loyalist marine look like anything
they got refounded by primaris btw LOL
Something I learned is if you want a really edgy character, just make your chapter master or first captain or something edgy as shit
Damn Dilara wasn’t reductive about loyalists
I’m proud
So we can make DR doom marines
I got like 7 space marine OCs
i dont have to take this
Oh rlly? Yaaaaaaaaay
But yes just cause we don’t always see a ton of variance
just make sure it looks 40k by the end of it is my thing imo
It’s like anything else
I can’t remember which Raven gaurd chapter it is, but the chapter it self is chill their chapter master was just viciously mentally ill
GW isn’t gonna make art for all the wacky guard regiments or daemons or whatever
FYI most space marines look "clean" on artwork due to marketing/advertisement stuff, they sometimes can get unique cosmetic additions or whatever on official stuff but they are generally kept "blank" so they dont encourage people to have the wrong expectation when they buy them.
We do see a lot of very different marine chapters though
Space wolves are special
Mmmm
That makes sense
you can pick what I mean by that
Where’s the homebrew I wanna read it and see if my sigmar brain can help
yeah like say you are getting Executioners, GW isnt gonna get you flayed skin parts for them because your Chapter doesnt matter, its why Founding Legions only get unique cosmetics
But like, fundamentally different, like different head shapes and armor layouts and stuff wouldve cool
Yeah mostly
Dorn had the worst children lmao
fair enough
Shout out to the IF character in HH who just became an omega tyrant
Yeah
YEAHHHH
Worst in a fun way
Not worst in a bad way
Bars
Lmao
GOAT
Executioners are 10/10 in the based department smh
Nah he right
they suffer from success from the most common IF trope, aka they are nothing like their Parent chapter and thus benefit from it 🗿
My friend is a dilf hunger want me to get his opinion
Terra SM and becoming tyrants... News at 1900.
I like the idea of tech based crusaders looking for lost tech from the horus heresy and centuries prior to take to the mechanicus and be like
"turn this into more weapons for us."
They love the emperor, but they think the mechanicus will be our best chance to survive when the emperor dies.
They have a knightly vibe with reverence for technogly, and eugenics.
"Humanity was never meant to embrace the psychic. We are creatures of the earth, of the material."
They love the guard because that is their best stock for recruitment.
Fafnir Rann my GOAT
IF successors are consistently funny and jovial lads
He was the first chapter master of the executioner’s btw
They kept his armor
Yep
he's fun
I love the extremely violent marines a lot tbh
mostly because uh
murder is funny
Imperial Fists are the most vanilla guys really, their main downfall being yellow sucks fucking dick to paint
They got their emotions out in hh
their scheme is cool, otherwise yeah i got nothing
Fnaf Ran my beloved
They’re the baseline
CF is more vanilla than IF.
and neither side talked about it
Ultramarines have ironically a shitton going on
at all
It’s like that imperial knight chapter who have day long ceremonies and shit, so then they go out the battlefield they go fucking CRAZYYYU
Unhinged marines my beloved, suck sensible behavior go ham go stupid
the Imperial Fists do get a bit quirky at night
Even just chapter composition wise
so death companies?
Considered by some a ‘lost tale’ of the Badab War whose true facts will never be known, what became known as the Corcyran Massacre was discovered by a Loyalist naval patrol in 339910.M41. In the wreckage of an old smuggler base in the dust wastes of Corcyra-II was found the aftermath of a bloody battle between sub-company sized forces of the Executioners and Charcharodons Chapters. These two Chapters, both famed in their own right as savage and unyielding, had fought each other to mutual annihilation, ripping apart the base around them and trampling its former inhabitants into the dust. Many of the bodies from both sides showed signs of having fought on despite suffering horrendous wounds, severed limbs and massive trauma that should have felled even a Space Marine, and several were found locked in deathly, gore-splattered embraces, striking at their foes with their last ebbing strength. Which fighter, Executioner or Carcharodon breathed last to claim a bitter victory shall never be known, as neither side has acknowledged any survivors of the massacre living to tell of the battle.
based based based based
Make Crimson Fists poster boys again.
I LOVE MURDER
It's better if they do warcrames for the love of the game, but death companies are fine too
No, marines who are just unhinged
Death company marines are unhinged unwillingly
the Executioners are just
unhinged LOL
Speaking of, found my 40k personal Chapter chart
they were literally skinning loyalists alive
question; do you also love The Minotaurs?
during the Badab war
Yes
I also think they're a bunch of spoiled children
and huge cowards
but its part of the charm
They are literally school yard bullies
who gang up on people and then go crying home to daddy mommy when it doesn't go their way
Raptor!!?
Yeah i like vanilla
the Praetorian of Dorn was one of the most forgettable horus heresy books

Tbh I should just make my space marines knight of the raven
i knew it.
Minotaurs are the type of Marines to place TNT all around your minecraft home then blow it up
I love how the one named Executioner chaplain literally has a dead baby on his armor
like
Since grey knights will be in hell for a another few years
that goes extremely hard lol
Marines Malevolent, Iron Hands, Executioner, and Scythes have a fanbase?

Nah nah that text is for the BTs
the others are cool
If so, Crimson Fists deserve an honourable mention. They are dumb, but they try to be reasonable.
Minotaurs are kind of a meme tbh
Minotaurs are so fucking goofy
I love em
they almost only win when they horribly out number the enemy
They are great
They're dumb shitty assholes and it's funny
wowowow theyre so mysterious they uhhh fight other marines and they uhhh listen to the lords of terra
they are what happens if you make Minecraft griefers a chapter.
yeah ookay buddy
They are just a specifically commissioned Chapter with rich resources yeah
they're just a bunch of attack dogs lol
who love to bully weaker enemies
am i really supposed to believe they follow the lords of terra over their own?
🤝
I like chapters like Blood Angels and Emperor's Children
I mean yes?
Marines just do what they want
For example, there’s this Black Templar fan who always pops in here
Free use idea for a homebrew chapter; group of loyalist space marines who descend from a traitor primarch and are painfully aware of that, and they live out their days guilty and self-flagellant about it. Call them the penitent legion or smthn
some are kiss-asses some are independant

They're loyal to the High Lord of the Administratum because she is literally their sugar mommy lol
and they want to listen to humans?
Guys i cannot do this, someone kill Clad for me, be my Minotaurs
