the left ones look goofy af
its the Cadian hostile environment mask
oh i see
yeah
its like uhhh
or something like a radioactive gas world
when leather gasmasks get scrunched lol
man they really are the most flexible regiment
kantreal yourself, now
why the fuck don't they have their own lasgun pattern
Billy Mays here for the brand new flex mask
like this is a thing in lore lol
So have you seen other sculpts for the mask for the other guards ?
I'm surprised we don't see cadia doing their own drop troops at this point
I think Kasrkin do it
horrible quality
I'm stealing this
also Cadians are using standard issue gear
so

The use of grav chutes technically isn't ruled out of use for anyone I think
if a cadian is using something
Drop troops are just trained for it specifically
then its prolly standard kit
except for like
the new agripinaa autogun on the upgrade sprue
which seems to be cadian specific
I mean like speaking on broad tactics like Cadians are like the most flexible guard regiment
The channel the might of great canada
they don't invent enough war crimes
oh yes speaking of war crimes i need to fix my GLA base Guard regiment
My apologies, I wanted to keep up with chat. But yeah, there are deployed regiments with a speciality as they can't do combined arms. so you might get Cadian tankers working with tallarn infanty on taros and the like. or cadian infantry and kreig artilly, etc.
Elysians are (I think) only ever drop troops) but Perhaps there could be some from other not para focus worlds?
there's a few other drop troop regiments
one from the Fenrisian system, the harkon warhawks
and the phantine
No need to apologise we are just shooting the shit really
but also yeah its not really out of the question
its very much like a "gimmick"
being able to paratroop is mostly a resource/request dependant thing
GLA?
PRIDE OF THE GLA
I"LL MAKE THE SCARFICE
Yes command and conquer Global Liberation Army
I adore that first and second gas mask
They are the same one, but with soft hat and no hat.
I really like that power sabre, I hope to see it in DT one day.
Do Death Guard plague (they spread during battle) impact Loyalist space marines too? Or are their immune system is strong enough to deal with it?
They can
Not all are strong enough but we know the DA Supreme Grand Master before Azrael got infected with Nurgle's Rot while fighting Death Guard.
So he gave command to Azrael, gave him the Helm of the Lion and walked into the Rock's reactor.
It mostly is just harder for it to infect.
I see! Thanks for the info
I'm glad they have the top row, so I can use these on my non-c*dian figures
You can just paint the hat a different colour...
I guess they might not like the hats but, idk I feel like those are all easy to convert to whatever
Just as a general rule of thumb - all Nurgle originating diseases can be considered to be “alive” and “malignant” to the point that they invalidate even the best reality-rules-based medical sciences. Faith might actually be the best inoculation, but even that is not guaranteed to always work.
A part of why Nurgle has not won yet is because the diseases work so well, they convert or kill living beings before the rot can actually spread too far. That, and to a very indirect extent, Nurgle himself is also a Chaos entity that “plays” with mortals so he isn’t interested in killing everything off immediately either.
(And on a non-Nurgle note, same for Scrapcode, “Chaos computer virus”. It is also semi sentient, a computer virus smart enough to think about how to cause the most widespread damage, destruction and misery.)
Perfect explanation yeah
first message i see in lore chat today - BLACK ALSO WOMEN
how i know this morning is good
Speaking of nurgle I've been inflicted with his rot
Same, I also got a runny nose and a headache 💀
one time the green zogger subjected me to the most brutal asthma beating i've gotten as of late
I'm just I'll from stress
Well then, you better go catch it!

You can’t kill me, I’ve been working out while listening to Jeffery Dean Morgan talk about eating young alien hybrid children’s hearts
I’m

You know what just for that you get to live
Conquest is perhaps the greatest role JDM has done since John Winchester
I hope they expand his role a bit more from the comic
I've never read the comics
He doesn’t chit chat as much
They added a lot of character to him with this
Like the bit about being lonely
And how all the other Viltrumites are scared of him and all that
Darkblood plot Darkblood plot Darkblood plot
Yass
Ederius you demon simp
That’s all new too, which is fun
Every word out of conquests mouth was a banger
They made him so fucking sinister and menacing
Some people were complaining about the casting of conquest, they are just objectly wrong
"Im so lonely"
Hes just like us for real. Including wanting to rip apart a 3 year old
In the comic he’s great but they just added too it, he’s so calculating
Fr fr
it helps that you can tell like its mostly changes 100% from Kirkman
The bit with Oliver was so fucked up too
Legit for once made me uncomfortable
like i know he isnt gonna die
but christ the sound effects as hes slowly pulling him off 💀
i love the fact that he doesn't lie, he knows he's a monster but he would live no other way
That shot as Oliver was entering the fight and we can see the city falling apart was so beautiful
Maybe next time he’ll remember not to catch those hands
Yeah that whole part with Oliver trying to follow the fight
Also ffs Mark
Can you even try to keep it away from cities
90 percent of this seasons money went into that episode
One viltrumite used him as a weapon to kill a subway, the other used him as a subway to kill a city
I wish Eve was a tenth as creative with her powers as Viltrumites are with Marks face
💀
She finally did something neat
Once
And then never again smh
And no I don’t mean her bullshit activating
Eve falls into the weird category of “so powerful the writers have to nerf her for the plot to happen…”
as ever i must post the clip
👊
My exact reaction
LMFAO
Basically
do you have clip of conquest absolutely slapping oliver to the floor when he tried to go in for the punch
I really love that shot of Oliver punching him and sliding up
It’s so smooth
I expect they’re going to
Heavily change how Eves arc after this is done in the comics
I mean they have apparently made a lot of changes from the comic
yeah but its not that extreme
again since Kirkman is directly overseeing it
a lot of them are from him since he admits the comic was sloppy in some aspects and i kinda agree
yeah but thats another deal
the Boys comic is a literal pile of shit

Ennis is also a complete jackass
That's an insult to a pile of shit
It was so abysmal and garbage that I think it should become a standard of measurement
Dude this is so bad it reminds me of the boys comic
Garth Ennis not be racist, sexist, homophobic or use slurs in a comic in every page challenge
When you do any media for the first run, there will be ideas that only manifest later…so when you do the same story again, you suddenly realised a lot of things can be streamlined.
Glares at RWBY.
rt stepped all over the creators work after he died
Yeah without spoiling I expect a lot of changes to the ending and later arcs.
Make them less, weird but also build to them better
The comic isn’t bad it’s just some stuff is a bit idk
Yeah theres way too much stuff happening, its prob for the best to not also confuse the audience too much lol
It’s hard to describe without going into it but I expect the actual dramatization of some events will help a lot
like, we got people not understanding Angstrom is batshit insane, i cant imagine them not being able to understand future plotpoints

People were like why would angstrom work with mark
Idk he probably has brain damage from multiple sources
There’s subtle clues in the show which point to Angstrom being batshit insane
Easy to miss though
If only they explained it to us at some point
There is that, but there is also the sad fact that Mounty isn't stellar at plot writing either...
Angstrom is more put together than most crazy people, well he wasn't after mark beat him but you know
I am, REALLY, looking forward to how they do later Battle Beast scenes
Especially when he meets Mark again since in the comic they never met prior
why did he recruit the evil version that cost him so much pain that's the point
The guy is so maniacally insane he can no longer give a shit
Battle Beast is gonna take like 50% of the budget for at least one season
Can't wait for him to shower in viltrum blood
He probably has the highest body count for pure Viltrumites by the end
And also he kills the most
Hey oh
Ok furry
🫵
(No he doesn’t fuck any sorry furries)
I mean
They really should have tried to fuck him though

If only Anissa was down for some cat on cat action
YEET
Legit though a Viltrumite hybrid kid of his, jfc that would be unstoppable
Battle-Beast basically has a primarch backstory so that checks out lol
He’s Doomsday if he was a little less insane
I legit love the like
leaves his planet after killing every hostile force on it because otherwise he'll massacre the populace
can Viltrumites even hybridize with others?
Yep they can
Oliver
their gene is the dominant one
They can fuck anything
Marks nearly like pure viltrumite
freddy mercury arriving
thats what i mean, Omniman told Mark he was likely pure Viltrumite due to how dominant their genes are
They sadly cut the Viltrumite sperm line
The Darkblood stuff is cool though since it’s entirely new
Kirkman said he wanted to do a plotline of Mark going to Hell or whatever but couldn’t fit it in
Darkblood mentioned
I said Darkblood not Filthblood
technically the blood of the old gods is called black blood but dark blood works too :P
Ah yes my favorite WoW character: Feet
oh they already bled, the blood is just left over and can give some crazy power to those willing to use it
you know what they say about fantasy writing and fetishes lmao
Oh no I seem to have made all races females super sexy women with almost no clothes and massive tits
My bad
also late but here
little bro thought he had a chance 💀
the grot thinking he finally has a chance to kill a ironjaw brute
for real
animators just dont hold back
the jump in quality is funny
Xalatoes
i wonder if oliver will be a bit taller in season 4
I wouldn’t be shocked if like 60% of the budget was on this episode
was worth it
Nah it absolutely was
like-
they even animated his hair moving and shit
which is like an actual first-time thing lmao
lots of little animation details in this
i like how we see Conquest for like 20 minutes total but he is instantly likeable
like...
Lmfao yeah thats the same as the comics
he barely has like a single issue's screentime but still makes a huge impact (literally) on Mark's journey in the story
its super good
i cant get rid of this music in my head
There are not enough fires in hell
To punish you for this properly
But you have my thanks
i am already in torture
Has it yet been confirmed from which chapter Blood Ravens come? Thousand sons or word bearers?
i am already being tormented
Unknown.
Thousand sons have been directly denied by GW
And they have never confirmed a chapter as traitor descended so
Could thousand sons be exluded if they didnt suffer from rubicon spell
That’s part of the issue
💀

fucking Robot
We’re ||gonna get Eren Jaeger 2.0 when that happens||
fucking spoilers
i already read jojo during s5 when i didnt want to wait for new episodes, but i dont want to read invincible
The good news is they’re putting the afterburners on the episodes it seems
Season 4 is early next year
Depending on how they do it I could easily seem them doing 7-8 seasons
To give an idea of where we are, there’s 144 issues and this season ended at about 65 I think.
144 issues? How are they gonna solve all of those?
are there minis of regiments of penal legions
Yes, you can homebrew them all you want.
When people see that it is barely half way through.
maybe we'll hit hammer and bolter level of animation if that's the case
Just got the shipping notification

Tracked 24 hour delivery, should deffo get my EC box and chaos lord tomorrow!!!!!!

Fuuuuuck yes
i mean official ones
not homebrew
with its own rule book even
THINGS WILL GET LOUD NOW!
...Sorry.
It’s cool that we’re gonna get ||Jason Mantzoukas|| back at some point tho
Only penal legion mini I can think of is from the inquisition kill team
@sharp pollen if you want Penal Guardsmen, you might have to ebay hunt for some really, really old lead minis...
Back in 3rd edition there was a squad called Schaffener's Last Chancets
bro i would fucking never buy any minis
overpriced af
im just asking if there are any
They don't get many representations on the table top.
Most likely because they would overlap with the guards, which is already have quite a bit of options.
trust me its already loud as fuuuuuck!!!!!!!!
This is the longest article I’ve ever seen
oh lord
they have the capability to spawn daemon host more now
how is tertium still standing pretty well
WUT
Oh my the ritual actually DOES something...
super buffed unstunnable healing daemonhosts too
(depending on modifiable)
oh wait, i misread elites only 🙂
its probably gonna be the same as the current modifiers in high rank havoc
its the regulars and elites that wipe the party
watch a zealot assinate the shit out of these guys
Chatting elsewhere got me thinking.
Imagine a 40k story…written from the perspective…
…of a Warp Demon.
There's gotta be somethign like that out there
I think the best way to write 40k demons would be a weird sort of “black and orange” morality.
The way they perceive the world so very differently…but when they manage to attain a human perspective, they default to the most evil option anyways.
Theres a subplot in like ahriman 3 too that follows the changeling
Odd lore question since I need to brush up on this…
How much of a secret are Grey Knights nowadays?
Would Rogue Traders know about them in full or just as rumours?
It entirely depends tbh
Like pre-rift they were basically non-existant or mythical, only higher echelon Inquisitors knew them to some extent
Nowadays its so and so, some of the populace kinda know of them now but the others dont just as much since again huge galaxy
a Rogue Trader would be privy to the information if they had some Inquisitor pal that made them witness what the GK can do on some campaign and the like
And to be honest no one would probably believe them because they are still pretty much mainly secrets
and well if you tell someone sooner or later you will get a bullet through the brain
Well noted with thanks - with the RT I have in mind I will just go with the “rumours they heard about” angle then (on the assumption they have not been briefed beforehand)
That, and yea, even our Darktide dudes and dudettes think they are rumours or propaganda despite knowing their name…
Very much still hushed rumor territory, scary silver space marines, but they don't murder everyone now
Yeah that too
now granted people just thought they were some random ass space marine chapter
but they clearly don't mind showing themselves publically now
This would make most sense, especially since they paraded on Terra…
Their true purpose is a secret
OK so does that mean that when I'm wandering in the sewers and I accidentally see one killing a demon manifesting on the place how good are my chances of living now
But their existence is half opened up per se.
Bad.

yeah
nothing changes then
well yeah
their apperance/the fact they exist is somewhat known
because GK lore is fucking stupid
but their true job/goals/when they show up when shit hits the fan
that varies
sometimes they kill everyone because daemonic corruption™️
only special boys get spared and get mindwiped instead
aka sororitas and other marines
then they fight daemonic enemies a week later
yes this doctrine makes perfect sense
yeah and people genuinely wonder how the imperium is failing
I mean, there is a reason why Exorcists are nicknamed “reasonable Grey Knights”…
Scions and Skitarii as well oddly lol
Instead of you know lecturing and trusting their man it's better to just execute them
They got an inbuilt button
so prob easier
LOL
like entire regiments
:)))
Get ******* executed
If they see even a single grey knight
Charadon?
I think GW finally realised how “kill when seen” is stupid when they wanted Grey Knights to be a plug in for other armies.
anyways to some horrific nurgle pox
but yes they did kill like
almost everyone at Charadon
shouldn't have let multiple greater daemons manifest
dumbasses
But Grey Knights are definitely given a mandate to kill anything corrupted or too risky to leave alive.
They also showed up in Armageddon right because with how bloody bad the fighting is it's becoming a Khorne planet
which will lead to some weird funni spec ops situations if an Inquisitor needs to rescue someone held by Chaos forces before the Grey Knights hit a site…
I do like how in Maledictum
the GK killteam you can call on if you're working for a malleus inquisitor
is referred to as a <Redacted> sanction
Nice
comedy
OK wolf quick question since we're talking about chaos here
Out of the fantasy age of sigmar and 40K which one has the best chaos corruption cleansing options
Uh
neither?
Probably Sigmar
because there's non chaos gods
But for 99.99% of people
hahahahahahahahaha no
yeah in age of sigmar you have like plenty of options in order
and if that it wasn't enough destruction can also help because of their weird magics
You know, a late but interesting observation…
There are no Poxbursters in the Meatgrinder testing range.
I wonder if that is just a design decision, or if there is a lore reason behind it…
Probably the devs just forgor.....
Imagine if they reveal there is a lore reason 🤣

okay small thing, but I've heard some ppl say that it doesn't make sense that the autoguns are so modern in terms of their design, with brass cases and all that, but imo I think it's possible that tthe autoguns you see in game aren't actual descendents of the weapons we have in the modern day, which might have went out of fashion in the dark age of tech, instead I mean, who knows? maybe an industrialised human world came up with the design independently and the imperium just liked them enough to use them occassionally
same with stubb guns and revolvers
I mean
like these are fairly simple designs
you dont really need a base to make ballistic weapons in a sci-fi society
just put it in some place alone
anyone could have just randomly invented them like how we did it here
thats what I mean
Most words sit on a sliding scale of industrial development and solid ammunition is gonna be the natural choice. Weapons design will likely follow similar patterns because the shape fits human hands and helps with recoil.
Yeah automatic weapons even in lore are said to just be always "around" because ballistic weapons are just something humans would invent in any era, so people thinking they are "descendants" of modern weapons we have now prob kinda miss the point
(also dont read the lore behind them)
I think the kroot use muskets
they arent muskets but they are close in design
its mostly the rule of cool lol
The Kroot rifle fires a solid slug propelled by a chemical reaction, although it has been adapted by the Tau to fire charged pulse rounds, giving it the equivalent stopping power of a boltgun. Blades are attached near the muzzle and the stock, emulating the style of traditional Kroot fighting staves. These allow the weapon to be used both at range and in close combat. It is still quite bulky however, and so is not combined with other weapons
I do like all the variations
of kroot rifles we see
funniest shit ever is the old metal kroot shaper
having RNG guns
where GW had like 3 dif moulds and the kit would just have whatever in it lol
Firearms are a genetic memory for humanity. It's inevitable.
Even in real life, there are many firearms that look so similar that people think they are related, but their mechanisms are completely different.
They only look similar because of the convergent development/evolution.
Firearms are one of the cases of function over form. They look the way they look because they wouldn't work otherwise.
Unless you are a Bethesda weapon designer…
how did the tau make that
shoot pulse rounds
arent pulse rounds just plasma
why not just give them modded pulse rifles
Bethesda weapons give me an aneurism.
Prefer to stick with their old ways
But they don't mind their own ways getting modified with better improvements of course
they like their gunblades
Yeah it's like taking a pistol and modifying it to shoot explosive rounds that disintegrate someone from the inside by forcing them to relieve their memories 100 times over
If you have the technology for it you can just do that
is there a toothpaste in 40k
no, they brush their teeth with shit
This is just like that one reddit post
History does repeat itself
pulse rounds are a very small solid round covered in plasma
alright, ask those with good mood, not shit mood
is there a toothpaste in 40k
its a really tiny round
idk probably
We've had some form of toothpaste since ancient egypt, so probably. Nothing confirmed though
Also Kroot rifles modified for pulse munitions
tend to have pulse rifle bits on them
Do kroots still prefer like the old ways or are they willing to use like more advanced tech now
^
Oh really i thought they were just straight up like snake bites, they prefer the old ways but because they are so good at the old ways they can still keep up
like, the most solid "rule" Kroot even have is to not eat tyranids
aside from that all bands do their own thing
Glad to know that they are willing to use technology
And necrons
no eating nids or genestealers/infected iirc
thats not a rule
We do see a kroot eat one
^
try it once
Yeah so you're telling me that they didn't make that a rule
the snack that bites back
lmao
is that
also kroot usually avoid "tainted" meat
Look they need to pass the law that eating regenerating metal is bad
like
Kroot the Paunch moment
chaosy stuff
possible?
idfk
This is 40k homie
Just let it slide don't dig too much on it
lmao ok
"form" around
We got a gun in-universe that literally de-atomises you lol
or some shit lol
I know you want to understand the intricacies of science and warp but it's not going to help you here
its also old lore
eat a tyranid, we'll see what happens
this was in the 3e codex
and has not been mentioned since
so maybe GW wants us to forget about it LOL
ifair enough
Where's this from
and very fantasy sci fi as well
that awful fucking Kasrkin book
😔
Think of 40k less of a sci fi setting and more as "Fantasy in space" because alot of shit really doesnt make much sense
maybe I'll need to sacrfice a good 10 hours for a neat 30 minutes
the kroot sits at dinner with a dementia necron lord and is spasming out while the kasrkin across him is like "What the fu-"
They didn't think to write that incident down as like a thing not to do
god that book is ass
well it was ilike 1 kroot
I mean they did it for the giant space dinosaur bugs
everything from that author has been awful
thats some alisa in wonderland shit
5 space marines kill an entire dark eldar kabal
idk they do got some sci fi stuff.
also they got a magical autistic kid with them
dementia necron as in flayed ones?
Nah a overlord
but yeah its mostly surreal sorta fantasy sci fi
Mhm mhm
oh the carcharadon one?
god
40k is a really unique setting
What's the name of the author so that i may avoid
Silent Hunters
it also has a dark eldar like-
save himself from slaanesh
by being a drug addict????
and against anyone who likes 40k
It's evolving just backwards

Also
@shadow plover
lol
Here, shaskais coming in to the rescue
What's the name of the author
oh that's a whole lot of text
Yeah its the whole book essentially
if you are curious just search for "kroot"
CTRL+F that shit
Edoardo Albert
Oh come on you have the patience to paint minies you have the patience to read
he sucks
Watching severance now, might later
Damn, good excuse
he has like 3 books atm and they are all bad
im not gonna be surprised if he just disappears
How bad we talking nick kyme?
Worse
Even worse
Kyme at least doesn't break lore
^
he's just bad at writing
So goto
yep i agree lol
All right fellows a second c s goto has hit terra
anyways there's uh
some random space shark
who's older then fucking dirt
in Silent hunters as well
truly incredible
also im an artist so I pay attention to these things, so like. while 40k is not realistic obv, wizards and giant stompy men, it is pretty consistent and believable in many ways.
like, yeah, the imperium uses giant mechs bc it's cool, but also bc of their culture and religion. and that shows in the way the titans look. the imperium doesn't see war as a science like we do in the modern day, they see it as an art, and that leads to impracticality because they're don't think of things in terms of force multipliers and getting every teensy little advantage they possibly can, they think of it in terms of how can we best please the emperor/omnissiah and kill the heretics as well
yes!
to be fair its largely rule of cool
titans in general make no sense in any way
if this was real life with no restrictions most titans would get orbitally bombarded like in the horus heresy trailer
lol
and idk I don't really think I've ever seen a series so authentically portray a medieval worldview in that way, let alone apply it to a sci fi setting. 40k is special.
Mechs sadly are so inefficient in practicality
Aren't there three who're more or less Dante aged or above or do I misremember
Theres a lot better ones who do the medieval POV job well
Yes tanks rule the battlefield the prime armor heavy support
40k's approach to middle ages stuff is sparse
its mostly whatever the author kinda read on a wiki
Drones may be changing that a bit nowadays
Yeah honestly a good chunk of 40k would take a surface level inspiration and modify it into something great
This is also pretty similar in the other warhammer settings
They see something they want to make something out of and they make it
And the result is either it's a hit or a miss
see this is what I'm talking abt, yeah they are definitely impractical but practicality isn't rlly the reason that the imperium uses them, they're walking cathedrals and monuments. they do it because they see war as an art
I think it’s a very nice mixture of both…
It gets even more complex when you get to the space warfare aspect. Giant ass floating cathedral fortresses in space as spaceships actually make sense when you consider the fact that (1) Warp travel passes through hell and (2) warp jumps can only be conducted between set Mandeville points, so you might as well fortify the shit out of said points…
…and as much as I detest this aspect, it makes sense the Imperial Navy favours Big Guns rather than Fighters or bombers. Far less training involved.
Yeah they do but im talking more from a sensible standpoint
otherwise yeah its just rule of cool
Or as a waste of resource because they want to flex their power as a great empire
I do think this sorta thinking is a tad too reductive, lots of the writers are still doing proper research even if there are a couple less interesting writers
eh, yeah, true. I still think it's cool that they even think about these things though.
Id agree but ive seen some awful shit in my years of raeding BL
sector wide war
8 million people die
meanwhile WW2
💀
just use the Armored Core 4A method
where the mech is practically a jet

yeah, ofc, but the imperium is not sensible and they don't want or try to be
Yeah but its also pretty much for convenience's sakes to some degree
Yeah but a giant war effigy representing the power of my country and it isnt a waste of taxdollar money is kinda cool and based!!!!!!!!
Writers cannot math lol
bolters themselves are regarded
its just cool to shoot 40mm exploding diamantine tipped rounds
Casualties number around the amount of people in a random town around the usa
I mean, if we really want to talk about Titans…
Consider the fact that it’s the Ad Mech that builds them.
In that sense, they are the ultimate effigy of a man/machine fusion.
Me, a big robot fan
😔 🔫
Most of the other Imperial ground forces just stick with tanks.
a titan/knight is a monument to the imperium's hubris and pride
really, it's more like a giant church that they decided to strap weapons onto because the imperium is insane and wants to kill everything
That ship is in rather low orbit, but it's cool
the guard are more practical/"realistic", yeah, maybe partially bc theyre on a budget?
I LOVE QUADRILLIONS OF PEOPLE ON TERRA
RAAAAAAAAAAAAH
More Ad Mech, if we are being strict with lore. But yes, a sign of hubris nonetheless.
Pffft amateur
true true
I love it when the cathedral walks to my house and kills me because I skipped Sunday mass
god machines
If you know you know
shokkjump dragsta
Yep that's the one
If you know what i mean you know what i mean
but my point isn't really so much that the titans and knights make total sense you guys or that they're practical in an actual space war, but moreso that I totally believe a culture like the imperium/admech would build them. Consistency.
My boi Ufthak!!!!
yeah def
Also they are cool asf
This does make an interesting observation that - by lore - technically speaking, the Ad Mech of Mars was equally as xenophobic as the Emperor was before Ad Mech agreed to join the IoM during the Great Crusade…
Yes, the mechanicus were human supremacists
they also had a plan to blow up Terra during the age of strife
but they never went through with it because greed
New lore interpretation: the Emperor would have been fine with negotiating with Xenos races, but as part of the political alliance of Ad Mech, had to realign and absorb their xenophobia instead.
This is the most realistic titan in 40k if we're talking by real life standards
Yes that's an ork gargant
gargants are hilariously cool
Yeah they're f****** awesome
i like to think the tau didn't believe titans were propaganda because they were in awe of the imperium's technology or power or whatever, but because they didn't think anyone would waste resources on something that stupid.
true!
Still in early access IIRC
Its a fun game but there isnt much incentive to keep playing especially in the state its in
I thought it was the Grotsnik novel
That is the in lore thing at damoclease
tau when titan:
Yeah literally when they get big enough they just turn into giant land battleships
oh lol
they thought it was fake because it was stupid
and then no
its real
and its decently effective
and then the Tau came up with counters
for a second i thought they were writing a book about ork racing
of varying success
"red go fasta"
they built their own giant mechs with even bigger guns
Didn't far sight literally say that those things are easy to deal with it's the space marines that you have to worry about
Rezmekka's redda paint is my favorite paint
tbf tactically yeah
a titan is easier to deal with
you blow that shit up with a bomber
or use a big gun from far away
Many super heavy vehicles, even Imperial ones, can knock an Ad Mech Titan out of the fight.
You know, Im surprised they havent attempted to strap rockets on the back to make the gargants faster
Badmek Rezmekka formulated a type of paint so red that staring at it directly for too long caused actual retinal damage. So red was this new color (dubbed "redder") that he donned it immediately upon his new armour.
the big thing is that titans are never unsupported
or alone
so thats what makes it harder to just deal with it
My guy made something so red it literally destroys retina
Would probably need a lot of power
They haven't gotten that far on making gubbinz for that yet
whats the uh average landspeed of a squig
Not really explicitly stated
that would track, space marines are fast, strong, and intelligent, they're basically super agile mini-tanks. pulse rifles can punch through their armor but that's a lot different than killing them. tmk a semi skilled battlesuit user can deal with one or two on their own relatively easily but once you get more than that they become a huge problem, not to mention space marines are usually supported by the guard and the navy in orbit
But i bet squig hogs could be fast enough to keep up with a bike
can they like rival vehicles
that's so fucking cool
I mean, they can make ships, and gargants/Gorka/Morkanauts arent exactly that small so its entirely possible a bossmek has a great idea of strapping 300 rockets to the back of a mekk and let it rip
dont they have a like a squig led carriot or something
the newest elemental council book
I mean Tau ones ended up looking like Metal Gears or Gundams, so y’know, fair enough lol
also has a pathfinder talking about how fighting marines sucks
because they're very flexible in what they can do
but also 40k logistics n shtuff have never made sense and are hilariously inconsistent so
take it at face value and is everything is ojk
You gave me a mental image of a space marine contortionist and that is highly funny to me
Squighogs definitely can
god thats amazing
lol
Same case for squigosaurs and trampla squigs
unrelated but isn't farsight the only tau that the orks respect? king
Mostly because he is the only guy who fights in close combat AKA a proper scrap
Yeah they find him a good fight
Farsight and Yarrick remains the only two characters that Orks respect despite being non-Ork
Getting in an Ork’s “respect” book is basically showing you are ready to rip them a new one in a show of strength in a decidedly “Orky” mannerism
farsight is especially impressive considering that orks seem to find tau especially pathetic (which, although I like tau, from the ork perspective that's a fair assessment)
A beast boss on a squigosaur wouldn't hesitate too make his mount faster by formulas or of course modifications
And of course same case for the rigs drag by Tramplasquigs
holy shit the last one
Yeah those things are physically strong and a herd of them is enough to drag around an on the move ork fortress
Quick show them the battle fortress
Or whatever it was called
Battle wagon? Damn my brain
Ork battlefortress are a thing
IGN yet again
Siddhant huh?
Iirc he’s done some
Dumbass stuff like this before
Unless I’m thinking of someone else

I guess we found out where all these Redditors are getting their media literacy lessons from
my issue is hes acting like this is some drama movie or something
this fight had more emotional in it than most flicks ive watched lmao
Or that it’s the end of the series
No ideology? The man literally gives you nothing but his thoughts the entire fight lmao
This is obviously setting up more stuff
He’s not quoting Nietzsche or whatever so it doesn’t count
But whatever, cheap clickbait tbh.
average IGN moment
I totally don’t disagreed that while it’s great and knowing what it sets up I love it, but I could see someone saying it’s an 8 or whatever. But 5 is just silly.
And also if you’ve been watching the show you know the episode is gonna lead somewhere.
Yeah it definitely isnt really like that plot driven and survives entirely on wojak factor but its like wojak factor done extremely well lol
IGN, no other reason
How did season 2 end again?
literally setting up half this shit
Was it the Viltrumite fight?
I guess because one is yakub and the other is an old muscleman
If anything, I’ll give a big criticism to the Angstrom fight, the whole Deus ex Machina bit that saves Mark is super goofy.
well you can kinda excuse it because it superhero stuff tbh
ive seen worse examples of it
It’s not gonna ruin my day but it’s a huge handwave
Jesse’s druggie girlfriend dies and Skyler finds out Walt faked a bunch of stuff and there’s that plane crash
Wait what are we talking about
This is funny because Powerplex who Jessie's VA voices literally has a junkie looking goth gf 💀
might wanna add a past tense there

*had
She really does look like krysten ritter tbh
"Warhammer Concert Suite" composed by Jesper Kyd
Arrangement and orchestration by Benoît Grey
Performed by The Danish National Symphony Orchestra, The Danish National Concert Choir and Isabel Schwartzbach
Conducted by James Sherlock
This performance was a part of the video game live concert "Gaming X Symphony" broadcasted on The Danish Broadca...
Yes this is a thing now.
Yes they led with Darktide.
was ABSOLUTELY intentional
no fucking way
this is cool
2:55 is SO fucking good
actual chills
proof that orchestras make anything 100x better
hor
🗣️ 📢
more like this
🥢 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
lmfao

This is probably partly because he's Danish
my favourite is Immortal Imperium but i guess its not possible to perform it like this
too much synth
maybe
The Vermintide main theme was sooooo good though
The last stand ost in vermintide 2 is a banger
Far better then Darktides tbh
Which is just menacing synths
She knows something we do not....

Apparently combat patrol demons is gone too
Gw killing every army with infantry deep strike ig
They also said Karnak is being discontinued
Which is
Weird
They’re not, since the index got updated
For both games???
They still have deepstrike
That is the implication of the article yeah
It’s weird
Karanak is brand new
Not the first time GW has done something like this though
Still very odd whenever it happens
I should go pick up boarding patrol demons first AOS then
WAIT
i thought this was related to the Karnak twins
LMAO
lol, lmao
fucking warhammer names man
LMAO
Wait is it Karanak ?
Can't not break what is already broken.
Me too
Anyways looks like Karanak might be getting taken out back
And having his poor head blown off
Despite having a brand new mini from 8e lol
I can’t imagine they would do it to AOS, he has an entire warband
I mean
They have before
Not for AoS
Yeha but “claws of karanak” and where’s karanak
But they released a codex legion of the damned in 6e and discontinued legion of the damned like 3 months later lol

Also with whfb
I forgot which unit
But it got a mini
And then the next book didn’t have it
Karanak and the khorne lord are the only models that can lead both of them together
maybe they just forgot 💀
Also happened with seraphon in AoS
The claws and karanak
I forgot which unit
It probably sold like 9 copies so they ditched it
But it was a hero
Lol
I will actually scream
If they discontinue Karanak
There’s no shot he sold that badly lol
They did do the same thing to beasts of chaos tbh, but that was gw holding a gun to their head
When that model dropped everyone was hyped for the rebirth of beasts of chaos next edition
Next edition
Beastmen still treated better in AoS then in whfb somehow
And how the fuck has 40k treated them the least awfully lore wise
Actually derranged
Also weird 40k is copying AOS’ homework for terrian
40K daemons have all of the AOS terrains
They’ve always had yeah
yeah its classic cross-over stuff
The only time they haven’t had cross over
Was 7e
Because whfb was dead
And AoS was on fire
Codex khorne daemonkin, what a weird book you were
in light of SM3 being announced
LMAO
I feel like brain dead space marine fans have been flaring up on twitter as of late
over what
||Why did Cherubael give Eisenhorn the necroteuch to destroy
Is he stupid||
iirc it was some gambit to free himself
||"Despite there being many ships on the ground still evacuating people and me knowing that you have a gun cutter yourself, I will give you the artifact of infinite heretical knowledge even though I could probably still use it"||
How so?
wasnt he bound to the other inqusitor
its been a while so the timeline of events is a blur
Gotta feel for them (me)
This game, though wonderful, released with the bare minimum
6 hour campaign and 3 multiplayer maps
Space marine (army) not game my bad
Ah..
||It was that he was created by the Inquisition, not sure if he was bound to Molitor but it seems like the second book/second part of the book is gonna be getting into that mystery so far||
I haven’t played the game at all but I don’t buy stuff til like 2 years after release
Kinda same
I do have MH wilds though
OTHER THAN THAT
I tend to wait for CHEAP sales
to be fair MH Wilds is not even comparable to SM2 imo
like MH is legit peak as fuck
also FOOOOOOOOOD

I just love my little palico
I really wanna try the older MH games, I have world but I have no friends lol
"hey ugly, over here"
I've thanked and talked to my palico more than I have any other game character
Smart
Does monster hunter have insects?
Yes...
I played SM2 for a week on release and haven't played since a single time
Lala Barina is a whole monster bug so aye
I can't think of an insect monster
Then there's little medium-sized pest enemies
Like Lala Barina
Ahtal-Ka
Maybe
And then there's endemic wildlife
YYAYWGEHSBEJWB
Lala and nercyclla are in wilds but those are spiders and not really bugs
He not in wilds
Why does wilds have a mixed rating?
performance
Oh
RE engine moment
Early "bug" monster for wilds
But yeah the performance hurts
What environment are they found in?
forest
