sus
fucks sake I’ll post it again
Griffith
do i have to spell it out
WHAT
I mentioned like yesterday
As is commonly the case, the Nazi could not resist the femboy
Awful
Looks at Twitter
does it work yet
I hope not
Dunno I don't use it
wait i dont care
im a furry of course i did
fucking savage
lmfao
i hope Elon unplugs the one server keeping whats left of Twitter running and no one plugs it back in
also i had no idea twitter was being cybercunted until i saw that post
its most likely not
i wonder who had the resources for a DDOS of that level and that kind of dedication
Elon just says it is so he can blame Ukraine
fucking piece of shit lol
it wasn't hacked it was just DDOS'd
when you got a site like "X" and its ran by Muskrat anything is possible
As if Musk understood anything and could guess it's from Ukraine anyway
I've read something about it being done by the largest botnet seen yet
bots shutting down bot website
It’s prolly a government of big coordinated group
I mean it's probably, literally just all the bots that infest Twitter
As for which one idk
he claims the "hack" came from an Ukrainian IP lmao
there is no obvious point for this
Musk is mentally deficient
nobody gains anything directly from this kind of attack
^
I gain entertainment value from Musk sucking it
Which is why I think it’s just a bunch of people
barely anyone properly uses twitter anyway
lel
Who’s mad DOGE tried to sell one of their black sites
only time i would root for the CIA
nah the CIA would just kill him
probably
LOL
Okay but hear me out
For trying to sell the black site
shitty warning if it is that
this would be Elon's second warning:
.
they have the resources to leave a horse head in his bed
^
It’s a dumb joke
CIA have done way "easier" worse stuff
I don’t think it’s the CIA
I really do just think it’s a bunch of people who dislike him
i doubt it was even a DDOS
It is
I heard it was some anonymous group
anonymous hasn't done anything in a decade
Imo it’s likely it’s ex Twitter employees lol
Either that or Twitter is even more incompetent/resource starved under musk
Then I thought
Which yeah it might be
he looks so stupid
Im tired of USA politic. The fuckface didnt even have to run through election to run a country. What a fucking joke.
I am impressed as time went on he decided to ruin his reputation then just stay as like the
Rich smart billionaire guy that shoots rockets onto the sky
I feel that, and I wish I could ignore it but since I live in Canada, its kinda hard to
Dude i don't want to mention this but what the hell is trump speed running
elon and his orange servant have done more for canadian politics than anybody in history
Death
the man is an idiot and always chasing the next big thing to gratify himself with
Guess why I'm tied of that? 🇨🇦
Feel you bro
Its insane how prominent PP was before Trump and now he's just kinda not in the news (at least on Reddit anyway)
it's funny how quickly you stop giving a shit about the tariff threats because you have actual human things to do in your life
What does he accomplish by doing that anyway
destabilize the economy
He is like purposely crippling like the economy of the us i do not understand
IMO he's trying to destablize the economy of Canada, which would then lead to a "peaceful" annexation or some such
what i've seen said a lot is the 1% benefit greatly from a destabilized economy but i have no clue
no he is just an idiot that is rushing to do as much as he can because he knows this is his last time in office
Higher then 1% prolly
Lol
Bribes and legalized corruption
Funnily enough, they're trying to prop him up for 2028 already
Getting those decimals
Can we talk about dumb shit in WH40k instead of of dumb shit in real life?
Yes
It's basically all it is
they cant thankfully
Let’s talk about laslocks
It is single shot?
14th amendment and all
Yeah
Definitely would shoot myself in the head 10 out of 10
Or some of them are
I mean, we say that until Trump and the GOP say no to the amendment and no one pushes on it
Laslocks are always semi auto
Stuff directly puts money into the pocket of like, 4 groups, and nothing else matters
Anyway moving on
So... does it use battery pack or something?
Cons are still too high IMO
that's just one polling site
But yeah lets get off politics
Yeah mechanicum laslocks are
Jay, we can keep talking in DMs if you want though
Also, I love that they call the small axe in Darktide Tactical Axe and not Tomahawk.
Imagine we got tomahawks as a grenade option
Because tomahawk in real life is quite of meh.
Ogryn getting sometime like Knive but it's heavy axes
Though, hatchet would fit well, too.
Oh yeah the guardsman that looks like the queen's guard is like the most prominent regiment that still uses them right
stick with metal end
The Vostroyan firstborn
That'd be wicked
Grenadier Guard in real life. Funny people.
Vostroyan are weird
They use both
Their weapons are heirlooms
Passed down generation to generation
If possible
they also look stupid
It doesn't mean their weapons are any better though.
Because most guns in the imperium get passed through more hands than people you know.
official tabletop regiments are boring like that
Is there a Lasblunderbuss?
Well
Not really
Vostroyans had a gun table you had to roll on pregame
In 2e
Lol
In 3e and onwards vostroyans got simplified to just having better guns in general
There aren't really any Las shotgun other than the Stutterlas and illegal Shotlas. So I would say not really
ancient history
But vostroyans are fun
Like the people bought a normal knife from a convenient store from the 1800s, then get passed down. It is heirloom, but it is ultimately still a normal knife.
Good aesthetic
Damn that'd be kinda fun if they had those in a more official form
To be honest i can't see it happening by miniaturizing alas cannon and then turning it into a shot las
Shotlas’s are funny
wrong ogryn emote
Can or can't
Stutterlas sounds a bit like a BT pulse laser for some reason and I dunno why
Can remember i am a massive idiot
I can probably beat a goff in a headbutt
Stutterlas basically overcharge than release volleys of las fires
I see I see
Basically force semi auto or what ever
i have never heard of a stutterlas
They are more like basically a laser yeah
That’s just a multi Las
Even in the 10e trailer, melta was a continuous beam.
Space marine probably's the main culprit of turning them into a super shotgun
The first space marine
The second space marine
And of course the boltgun gun games
it's an anti tank close range weapon
Yeah
rpg stuff iirc
It also ignites oxygen
Wait really?

Multi las’s fire a bunch of lasgun shots incredibly fast
The pulse laser does that as well no?
Not quite
Is las the only type of laser weaponry in the imperium
What am I confusing the pulse laser with
No
How is a Pulse Laser
Melta
Ohh
The pulse laser turns itself on and off, where the initial release of the light turning on is stronger than holding the laser onto a target
Like disintegrators
Thermal lance!
Ah
Irrad cleanser are laser ish
Man, I remember that "Therma lance" upgrade for StarCraft Colossus.
lasers only include light in the visible, ultraviolet and infrared range
Its like how if you're in a blackout and you have the light switches turned on, then the lights come back on the electricity flowing through is strong enough to break the lights
Irrad Cleanser is visible iirc
a maser for example is a micro wave emitter
It is yeah
That makes sense
What kind of electrical circuits does your country allow
At that point, it is in between plasma and light.
The radical kind 😎
also fun science history fact, "laser" is an acronym taken from the maser but they replaced the word microwave with light. it's the original aser
Also, I found an actual mass production military knife that looks straight out of 40K.
Show
I wonder how many acronyms we'll go through with ASER before we get tired of it
10 million
presumably a gamma wave aser would be a gaser
Laser should be Loser iirc
Light occilation something something
Yeah that looks like a combat knife from dark tide
||that's just a basic military knife||
Comically large guard, and it is 20cm long blade, which is longer than any current military issue knife.
The company making it actually has EU military contract.
Depend if you consider bayonets (which it make me think of, with the 2 holes) tbh
still doesn't beat the good old pig stickers
The one I show is not a bayonet though, the holds are too small for that.
That explains kiryu's weapon
masers are wacky but they're the kind of quickly obsolete tech that you will never learn in non specialized school
It is, it is just bigger.
i will now go ask my laser specialist friend if he can explain a maser
Lol
Isn't Maser just Microwave beams which are amplified to convert to binary, or am I thinking of something else
he cannot explain a maser
it does what the name implies, microwave amplification by stimulated emission of radiation
it uses the change of energy states of electrons to multiply a prior amount of electromagnetic waves
as far as i can understand it
The mechanicus and mechanicum has a weird obsession with solid projectile weapons
Which is funny
Because why the fuck do they have that obsession
Fair enough
imagine shooting a gun and knowing down to the millimeter where the bullet will land
They do
that sounds fun as hell to me
I guess they are humie mekboyz
Obsession with like solid projectile weapons is like a very ork thing
Why mess about with a fancy gubbins when you can get yourself a solid shoota
guns are also more fun objectively speaking
40K needs more bows.
lame take
Imagine killing SM with a ballista.
Ballista isn't a bow
Enough speed and mass will kill anything.
Well you just need the right material for the actual ballista arrow
Say what now?
A Ballista was for throwing rocks
Also IIRC in Gaunts Ghost there is an unhelmeted CSM who dies with his head as an arrow pincushion...
So it was a fancy bigger slingshot
that's the story where they infiltrate a chaos planet yes, my first 40k book
gaunt also cleaves a CSM in half with his power sword and they blow another one up with a melta charge
It was to throw anything, including bolts, which are arrows (arrow is just a more sophisticated kind of bolt).
and not a single ghost dies during the whole two book mission
The Scorpio was the crossbow like one which would shoot arrows
no plot armour to be found here
Why the f*** do media presentation ruin everything
Scorpio is like a way sicker name than ballista
brostin or whatever he's called also runs into burning prometheum and leaves unhurt because he covered himself in space vaseline
definitely one of the wilder books to introduce yourself to the setting
Space lube
Scorpio is a sub type.
Lube-tuah
this book is really cool
Its pretty badass
if only you owned physical copies
Yeah it isnt mine
I wish I had a copy of the Slaaneshicronicum
I'm going to bash your head in
So a typical Monday, eh?
Some historians actually debate the usage of bolts in Ballista
im not a chumb im just betting on the vraks book value to go up (it wont)
Thats the ec codex?
You honestly that's what confuses me
What's the point
Unless you're hunting like a giant creature why are you using a giant crossbow
To flex
because they were too stupid to use guns
Ballista is a general term for the system. The Scorpio was used in ballista carrying units.
Yep, lots of gooning
It is like the real life Automatic Rifle, which has LMG, AR, even AGL or whatever they want to throw at it.
Me seeing an unattended planet
I am goonin
The word* rifle originally doesn't mean portable firearms.
automatic rifle isn't a term that's been used since the battle rifle replaced it
it used to be an actual definition
since automatic guns back then were either huge machines or basically just rifles that can also shoot automatic
Not really, a scorpio in principle is a smaller version of a ballista but the general term would be Torsion Engine, if we're using your gun analogy a pistol and an assault rifle are both guns, but a pistol isn't an assault rifle.
that era of engineering predates standardized manufacturing by a long shot so it's not great to compare to modern terms
Yea, I'm not a fan of using modern standards to discuss the topic, but it's what they were using so I just turned it around.
Because using modern standards leads to making assumptions based off our understanding of modern items, that don't always relate to historical basis
still sends me to the freaking roof when I see people refer to the "AR"-15 as "Assault Rifle" for its acronym
typically from anti gun activists
this shit predates the screw i bet
tbf the official term is dumb too
armalite armalite 15
I can understand the misconception. FN (Fabrique Nationale) and HK (Heckler & Koch) are much simpler to distinguish for me
the other AR designs are not nearly as famous as the AR-15 too
only other one being the AR-10 which is also an assault rifle
nvm battle rifle
keep forgetting that one
the barrel on that always looked weird to me. the early models that is
i'm more of a fan of early adoption M-16 aesthetics
that triangular handguard is peak
true. I was particular towards the handguard with the M203 attachment
oh hell yeah
This is a sound argument to me and I take it.
Like, its very distinguishable. I haven't seen any other weapon platform that shared its design, least afaik
they really had to make the new underbarrel grenade launcher lame as hell
also modular
To me, there is nothing wrong with using modern terms to classify things because many of them start from the previous understanding.
pre rail system M-16 add-ons looked so cool
That said, I sometimes don't agree with some modern classification of stuff either.
like the scope you screw onto the carry handle
Like how the battle rifle is a thing in the US English, but it is AR in many other languages.
interesting how back then they had to make rudimentary adjustments
but yeah, i just don't like the M320 GL module
Or submachine gun, mitraillette and machine pistol.
battle rifles come from a complicated post WW2 formation of NATO and the hard decision of choosing a standard round
Fun fact when the AR15 was introduced to the US army, there is a 5.56 AR15 submachine gun. This is way before the 9mm AR15 version.
the term at least
what does this mean
Also, I never put AR and AR15 as the same acronym, AR15 is a pattern. I'm tired of people saying AR15 is civilian and M16 is the military. M16 is the designation of an AR15 pattern, you dipshit.
man is arguing with ghosts
one thing i didn't realize until 2018 is that the FN-SCAR had an assault rifle and Battle rifle variant, i just thought it was H.
understandable. it's not like it a particularly popular gun outside of gaming
it only gained fame when the cool spec ops people had them
M4 still wins in the end
I'm still on the fence with the XM7 intended to replace the M4 in the US Army for the NGSW program
as far as i can tell, the soldiers who actually use the thing love the new machinegun but the XM7 is being bitched about a lot because it's heavier than the M4. i'm not a soldier so i can't attest about the importance of that issue but engineering wise it's a VERY cool gun
i've seen it thrown around that the only reason the army wants the XM7 is because it shares the same round
i always thought it was about time that the army adopted a longer barrelled gun again since statistically most engagements for normal grunts is pretty long range. it's only special forces that benefit from carbine sizes because they fight often in close quarters
heard it also reduces magazine capacity to 20 rounds now. And its true, for the past 20 years or so, engagements have been long distance gunfighting. But in the likely scenario where firefights are held in Dense urban environments, to me it might be more "cumbersome"
The XM7 being heavier will lead to complaints from soldiers tbh
Because heavier kit is never fun
Also iirc the XM7 is a 30 round magazine
Wait nvm it’s 20
With a 25 round box
and yet i hear mostly good things from people who used guns like the FAL and the G3. soldiers aren't always the best people for feedback

I’m sure the weapon is good
But having more weight to carry will always be complained about lol
i genuinely think that's a much bigger systemic issue with the army
they have to march with so much gear
I still remember reading about the Objective Individual Combat Weapon Program. which is how i came to learn about this thing
US army doctrine is to avoid those situations at all costs. there's a reason that Fallujah stands out so much
it is weird, you're right. for the past decades it's been proven time and time again by numerous agencies around the world that more bullets is better than slightly more impact energy
this has been a thing studied about the 9mm vs 45acp for a loooong time
but the reasoning behind the new cartridge is to defeat body armour
Yeah but we didn’t see that much body armor in Russia is the thing imo
At least with the Russia Ukraine conflict
Idk
I’m sure the gun isn’t bad
It just arguably feels excessive
Then again over preparation
army procurers arent the smartest people in the world so don't automatically assume they know more than you
they just set the requirements and get told the marketing pitch by the gun company
it isn't
Guh
M4 is carbine length
depends on your needs
So it’s easier to use
sigh doctrine and book crap. putting rules on war like its a damn sport. even as a kid i thought ROE was just vain hope made by individuals in a position of power who believed that conflict wouldn't become cruelty, but we've been doing that for centuries. its in its nature to escalate until the last man standing.
it's like in any company, systematic approaches are always what drives processes
it's always better to understand why a weapon is adopted and for what purpose
We have no clue what this rope thing is right?
Space Marine Lieutenant with combat net
america had an amazing weapon system with the sidewinder missile in vietnam but they flunked it so hard they had to rethink their entire doctrine
Lmao
My guess is terrain for warcry 3.0
after they started fighting using the full range of their missiles they pounded the vietnam airforce into the ground
Peer to Peer mainly.
Also it's just the USA tradition
Terrain of some sorts
For what
Only James knows
We skipped over the FAL because it didn't shoot big enough bullets
...and then when adapted the M16 which was basically the same thing
Lol
Well not really
anyways, yes that is true because of the smaller caliber but the shorter barrel also results in shorter accuracy over range
What’s the really weird gun
But it occupied the same niche
With the front loaded mag you like slide in
It’s a rifle
Or carbine
Not a SMG or PDW
what
Bren boy?
laati what are you smoking
What era
the FAL is a beast that shoots 308.
It didn't when they proposed it
They changed it to .308 to fit the USA's want
And by then we decided to make the M14
post war shenanigans
And then the M16 basically adopted the smaller caliber doctrine.
And now we've circled back to bigger
the brick?
The G-11 still looks cool in my opinion
g11
or as i like to call it "the 4th grader's drawing of a future gun"
I like it's weird blocky ass look
Idk why
hard to believe that the company i'm a fanboy of because i fell in love with the HK416, was also the mastermind behind the G11
I like how the G36 looks
You should see one of the P90 prototypes
ah yes, the classic "Future rifle of the 90s" in sci fi films
.280 was such a missed opportunity
I think it's well known because it's the last famous rifle that tried a weird non-standard shape
but the world has to lick america's balls
And even then it's a prototype
remember the pancor jackhammer
I feel like I’ve seen that design somewhere before
still wild to me this thing entered full production and is still used
Well... At least current events are making people lose faith in America
Even though their actual effectiveness are mixed. I do like them also.
Being creative!
we call those bull testicles or rocky mountain oysters
(In ways to murder people)
Tbf was the G11 not considered successful
I think only 10,000 copies were made
i hope we adopt the G36 in canada
Well
Never officially released
G36 was successful though which is it's successor
And also looks pretty cool in my opinion
It is
the airsoft version i've seen at Airsoft parks are used as rentals $15 a piece
G11 never would have been adopted with its many many production issues
making prototypes is good until you need to make thousands of them
Generally I love the dumbass prototypes and shit gun companies make.
I think a company legit tried making a
Mini Minigun

QBZ? i call it the "Take Out"
Everyone should just adopt the KRISS Vector
Actually a cool looking bullpup
KRISS Vector
More like
Kiss Vector
only around 1000 over the course of decades so most likely in several batches as it got improved, nothing really big

there have been only two bullpups that draw my interest. Steyr Aug and Tavor
chinese weapon manufactures when they have to make new stuff
I like the CS:Source AUG better than the CSGO/CS2 one in terms of looks
the vector crb amuses me for some reason
what the fuck is that
The Vector has a ton of different loadouts, it's incredibly modular
courtesy of KRISS
Vectors are like the coolest guns
Like ever
its even funnier with the drum mag
is that the HK's m4 lookalike
Yeah
i keep forgetting the name
MK18?
I swear to God I wanted to just say
"Is that literally just an M4"

The big thing is it’s like
i've gotten MK18s and M4s mixed up sometimes
Surprisingly light
I want to go to a gun range
It’s lighter then the HK416
gasp oh my favorite
Would be fun to try out some guns to fire at targets
Taiwan is still using the M1911

America still uses it
What the fuck
I mean yeah
not even a railed version like the one that marines used until recently?
Again
John Browning is heralded for a reason
american police departments dont count they're the wild west of guns
I'd like to own one
Same
Now if you want to see some real guns
there's a police department in the US that uses fucking G18's like how is that real
The Mateba Autorevolver
I mean it's like either the M1911 or a Glock in terms of
"What you first think of when somebody says pistol"
Or if you want something with chesthair, there's the Mateba MTR-8
mateba nice
They’re replacing it with this thing
that's legit the Cyberpunk 2077 Revolver we use on the first Nomad mission
Is that the fucking gun the Burya (from cyberpunk) is based off of
weird italian guns
I love the Mateba MTR
it's also in tarkov for some reason
Funny
not the price range of revolver you'd find in shitty post soviet cities
Fun fact. Japanese Guns in WW2 were actually good quality wise.
But that's mainly because they did the classic tradition of
"Literally directly copying designs and calling it your own."
and the fact the 8 stands for it's bullet capacity, so there's also an MTR-12 and MTR-14
Also weren’t the issues only late war
For Japanese guns being total dogshit
Yeah and even then it's just them looking ugly. They still shot fine
Because they were literally running out of resources
guns are like leaves on the trees, they can get swept away to any part of the world through bad logistics or the black market
Well yeah
Brt that's because they literally skipped the refurbishing process
But it's nowhere near as good quality as like
Early war
Which was high quality shit
retar gun collectors kept the price of japanese rifles low thanks to those rumors until recently
Well obviously
Japan was pretty modernized weapon wise
At the start of WW2
Gun nerds
japan when oil
I’m not smh
Generally, yeah Japanese guns were low quality due to late war, rumors, and
Propaganda
Speaking of old guns, I saw someone bring an MG08/15 machine gun to an airsoft match I was in last month
you know what makes a great military? when the three main branches are at eachother's throats
-chad Hirohito
I still remember that Propaganda video where they compared the MG42 and the American LMG at the time. I forgot it's name.
"Sure it shoots fast, but ours is more accurate!"
the BAR?
Yeah tell that to the soldiers at D-Day
took about a year for it to be made
The army trying to kill the navy
YUP
how do you forget the BAR
I forget names all the time
They use the BAR still in the project wingman universe

browning's other masterpiece
BAR's were even used in vietnam i fucking love them
i used to think that the BAR was just the big brother of the Thompson because of the hand guard. i was 5
The M2 is still used today
And it's beautiful
they were intended as LMG's but quickly became proto-battle rifles
rare example of doctrine hindering actual war effort
FN model D my beloved
Yeah the problem is that it wasn't good for being an LMG.
20 box round magazines moment.
So most basically just used the M2 for machine gunning, which was fine, but the issue was that uh
It was heavy as shit
Like a true American

everybody loved the BAR. they just ditched the bipod and used it as a mobile automatic rifle for quick suppression. most veterans loved that thing
https://tenor.com/view/green-army-men-be-like-gif-25904498 how they say "Welcome" in Europe:
The BARs advantage was you could carrying it around easily with one man
it's just army doctrine that sucksed for the BAR. they genuinely had no idea what to do with it
It had a different role than other mounted guns which you couldn’t do that as well
in WW1 it was intended for some retar idea called walking fire
Well that’s never had any sort of historical precedent

People not knowing what they’re doing
Yeah it was good as like a battle rifle.
Just ironically not for its stated purpose.
MG42 was really good also, and the Americans didn't really have an equivalent until the M60.
wdym they had the m1919
Mfw propaganda told me it was highly inaccurate
if you mean as a general purpose machinegun i guess
kinda shocked me when WW2 Vets walked out of the theaters
I mean it is prolly traumatizing I’m ngl
i'll be honest WW2 vets are a terrible source of factual information
They’re good for direct experience not overall takes
Soldiers also commonly will use “worse” options because they like it
Yeah was referring to being an LMG.
The M1919 was used as that though. You are right. It was good at it's role, still is today.
But it was also very fucking heavy.
I think a couple jury-rigged the M1919 into an actual LMG though.
I think it was generally called the "Stinger"
Familiarity is always nice
Also people have preferences in general
yes. today we kitbash models, but some mad man kitbashed a machine gun
What in the fuck
Bullpup is a great example of this
Yeah it's sad that no actual copies survived.
We only have like replicas and remakes
Some people can’t stand it and it can get in the way despite often being superior technically
its on the Forgotten Weapons channel, you can look it up
the MG34 and MG42 were some of the first general purpose machineguns. they fit the role of light, medium and heavy and were mounted on vehicles. they were much more mobile than the M1919's tripod and they had the volume of fire of a medium machinegun. that's what really distinguished them
Is he still advertising that stupid get entered to win thing
Not anymore I think
it wasn't an official weapon designation so kitbashing is literally authentic
it was some armorers having fun
also it was an aircraft model so it shot ridiculously fast
the sound really was terrifying. like I can hear the thundering sound of the M2 Browning's fire. but the MG42 really earned the moniker of "Hitler's Buzzsaw". the sound was like an angry savage beast.
germany still uses it to this day
different designation
Mg3
slightly different around
in their "we're totally not a military" army
Also German, the "Nebelwerfer Multiple Rocket Launcher"
That is
Fun fact: It used the tail gunner version of the M2 as it's base.
Because it was a third lighter compared to the regular M1919.
But the problem is that uh
It easily overheated due to its high RPM and the fact that well
They were supposed to be air-cooled while flying in the sky. So they had to fire it in short bursts.
beat you to it
"SIR WE RAN OUT OF MORTARS"
"TIE 8 ROCKET LAUNCHERS TOGETHER"
inspiration
Another win for the Imperium
i wish they did an infantry carryable hispano 20mm as a meme
multi barreled weapons always gave me excitement
Multi barreled blunderbuss

Although
The M134 Minigun is still my favorite
Listen there's a reason why it's shoved into every video game
Every fucking movie
Etc.
not even a GAU-8 fan smh
And that's because it looks fucking cool
but I didn't know they were a thing until I watched Star Wars. Yeah you heard me.
Lol
Bigger brother
the rocket launcher?
20mm M61 Vulcan and 30mm GAU-8 Avenger cannon undergoing test fires at Hill Air Force Base.

i lied my favorite is the M61
because 20mm is the best round ever made
we should make 20mm guns for soldiers
I won't accept anything under 120mm
smoothbore or rifled
imagine a multi barreled weapons platform that shoots 120mm
which type of degenerate are you jerk
Smoothbore of course
There's this gun which was
Basically made as a meme
Instagram https://www.instagram.com/jones.beene - @jones.beene
Jones Beene, of Knight Rifles & Lead Guitarist for Calling Glory, shooting the largest center-fire rifle ever made. Only 12 people have ever shot the .950 JDJ as a rifle. Produced by SSK Industries, only 3 were ever made this was the first and the lightest weighing in at 50 lbs.. ...
Caliber comparison
they had to put the 22lr in there
Still not 120mm
I've got one of the butts they're fired from as a paper towel holder
No the part with the firing pin
Well it's not a casing per se, because it all burns out
It's just the butt and the middle firing rod
Do I have to get up to take a picture from one
Don't mind the watch, it's busted
The casing is just cardboard which burns away when firing
i had no idea it was mostly caseless
wait are you sure that's not two piece howitzer round
I am because I fired it

you might have a howitzer shell man
and i'm cat
i didn't know tankers were irl war thunder players
Peak gif
90% of them are
did you ever balance a glass of wine on your barrel
I'm actually in the tank opposite, my friend took this video
germans love doing that stunt with their tanks
No, that's just the old ad for the 2A4 tank with the pint
i've seen it done for crowd shows
so wait does the loader put the spent shell back in the rack with just the bottom piece remaining? @shadow plover
forbidden Jerk goon-setup
No you keep them in the breach case until you have an opportune moment to discard then
discard as in throw out of the tank?
Yes
is there like a pneumatic tube system
No, it's no russian tank
so the loader opens a hatch and chucks it out
Pretty much, but there's plenty of space to have them about
Or just push them back into the racks if you're getting cramped
i thought that was still how they did it, putting spent shells in their respective slots then switching them out from the main magazine when the fast access one is empty
The hull racks are only accessible when the turret is at 2 o'clock so you probably don't want to go through the trouble of filling those with spent ones
i guess tanks really arent designed for continuous firing like they used to be
You've still got 20 rounds in the turret racks
you're using 2a6's i think so i know you're not canadian at least
People want to drive a sports car but I just want to drive a Renault FT-17 tank
Now where’s the Engineer with the blowtorch to start draining the tank’s health?
Fixing this mess probably
Just gotta repeatedly jab it with the knife because Battlefield PHYSICS
hold up are you finnish
It do be so
it's not even a 2a6 i been fooled
We bought a hundred 2A6s in 2014 or so
And you Fins have that delicious Lohikeitto soup
I'm not actually a huge fan of it
iiiiiiis that guy carrying a suomi
please tell me yes
It's alright
do you still use suomis
My personal bias, I like seafood, and my aunt made that for me one time while traveling in Europe
Suomi KP is ancient, no
It's honestly pretty great every now and then, I had it too often as a child
if i had to visit any scandinavian country i'd visit finland. yes i know they're not scandinavian
The Finnish do it pretty well. Like, I’m very particular when it comes to seafood preparation. Baked, grilled, fried, deep fried or roasted over an open fire. But I’ve never been fond of fish in soup. Lohikeitto is a rare instance for me
Eh depends who you ask but strictly speaking were not yeah, just call the area the Nordics and it'll fit
that general area yes
Very fair, it's the best fish soup I've tried as well
it seems similar to rural quebec including the incomprehensible swearing locals
Also fair
i'd like to be able to say perkele correctly at least once in my life
Gotta learn that rolling r
are finnish r's done with the throat like in french or with the mouth
Front of the mouth
yeah that's hard af for me
i can do rolling r's french style but i bet it sounds weird
Very likely
LMFAO
I fucking love anything that asks this too
"why is angstrom so impulsive/stupid/violent"
HE LITERALLY HAS 1000 VERSIONS OF HIMSELF MELTED INTO HIS CRANIUM
😭
If only they explained this
Right after it happened
And had him look all fucked up
And act insane
Yeah ikr, anyway haha funny big pulsing brain with mechanical horrors sticking out of it heho
Angstrom is a good guy
hes just a bit Angst-y-rom
die
This is some warhammer fan level of trying to understand lore
Lookin like a green lantern
angstrom is certainly one of the villains of all times
i can't wait for the actually cool villain episode with conquer
and then another year of not-invincible slop
My favourite thing right now is opening TikTok and having another aspect of Invincible spoiled every 3 videos.
tiktok
Not even the show, it's like late comic stuff. Just the picture of it happening and writing saying "OH hey this happens"
you literally signed your own doom
What else am I going to do at work?
also yeah people are milking that stuff since the show is reaching new heights atm
I ain't taking a book into the lab
LAB?
The other scientists will think I'm a nerd
Recently just measuring the PH of yoghurt
why does he have a phone on his chest?
ok in my defense i have never seen the show and that isnt in the top 20 stupidest super hero costumes i have seen
damn, you got me there
😭
until hwat
until the final oblivion
When TU1 drops for Wilds and there’s a surprise again…💥
please tell me he gets cloned or something
he's like one of the only side characters i enjoy
Unless they change stuff rex is dead
you got to be shitting me
Getting a gank monster with no announcement would be crazy
Will mister immortality win a fight
i thought he'd win against the shitvincible
but he's too addicted to decapitations
Ngl
literally the fourth time in the series it happens
No
He gets his ass beat even harder
He actually puts up a fight in the show
So good for Rex
the way you spoke about rex a few weeks ago wolf
you fucker
you made me think he'd have a long story ahead
gaaaah why rex
its ok, my tiktok is just biker memes
its the same shit over and over again and the same fucking song
we know you bike jackit you can stop
I make sure not to spoil ever

Is there a reason Sororitas don't use thunder hammers?
i am sending legos to your floor
They had them as part of their wargear list back in 3e but only when allied with inqusition
No doubt thragg barber memes threw show watchers off
Didn't they have a bunch more weapon options back in 8th?
Or maybe 7th
SoB’s loadout diversity has been pretty consistent
Huh
I remember the Canoness having tons of Legends options come 9th
3rd one:
rogal dorn speaks like he does in TTS
I don’t think she had anything super weird
Or maybe it was the Sister SUperior actually
Let me check her wargear list
She lost combi weapons
And the eviscerator
But the loadout of battle sisters and stuff has always been pretty basic
Flamers, meltas, bolters, and their heavy versions
Lemmie see
But lore wise they should have access to Thammers tbh
Holy based
From 8th to 10th the Canoness lost Combi flamer/melta/plasma, Condemnor Boltgun, Storm Bolter, Eviscerator, Power axe and power maul
only if you dont drive it
Not condemor
She has it in 10e
Oh wait yea nevermind
it will eat through your fuel lines instead
I know this because I had one shoot Draxus with it
and sister superiors lost Storm Bolters
Also the loss of power weapon variants is whatever imo
Unified power weapon profile better
Probably to stop you from running 3 Storm Bolters in a squad
But yeah loss of eviscerator and storm bolter is unfortunate
Jump cannoness has it still
Well
She’s new I guess
gay
wolf stop having gay tabletop takes
It’s literally better for the game and hobbying
And fluff wise
Power swords, power mauls and power axes pretty all have the same effectiveness. They never should have been split into dif profiles in 5e anyways
i love this thumbnail
the homeless
Yeah, pretty much
The homeless and military vets
frip's custom thumbnails are so good
Frips art is peak
@arctic talon they have dual blades in Necromunda
they also have them in 40k in general
