if they at least sold hte new sprue by it self it woudl be completley okay
gw hates gsc so
they took all of the best parts of gsc and binned it for 10th, its even weirder because we had it in the index
And if it helps, it probably doesn’t but still…
Nowadays you want Kasrkin as your Brood Bros anyways.
They are the only Guard unit that gets Orders.
And even though I said ignore the tabletop, the truth is, GW will never make Brood themed Kasrkin model anyways.
Meaning you end up spending the same, for what it’s worth.
I would not call brood bros the best part of GSC personally
tbh
but its still dumb
its locked in its own detach
brood brotehrs in previous editions were pretty importantn, then they got rid of the 25% brood brothers
But saying GW hates GSC is a huge stretch
and is honestly kind of disengenous imo
Like I get if you're mad at GW
but saying GW hates GSC isn't true imo
The consequences of bending the knee to ensuring competitive balance. Any allied sheets are locked into one detachment.
they could do a codex just for guard sub armies like tau guard, heretic guard and gene guard
Not really
Brood bros weren't even problematic
this isn't pro plays fault
the best GSC lists in 9e weren't running any
same with 10e
not in the most optimal list
the bike + car one
which was really cool to watch but absurdly hard to pilot lol
But yeah I think one of the runner ups for "best" army list ran brood bro artillery
but if you want to blame comp play then blame comp play for something valid
rather then just having a hate boner for comp play lol
i never would blame comp
you can blame them for the excessive amounts of terrain cover this edition
well I'm not saying that to you
oh okay
Like there's 2 big things comp is responsible for this edition
#1 command point economy
#2 cover out the ass
for gsc getting dumbed down i would have pointed fingers at people who didnt understand cross fire
but im bais
i loved cross fir
you're correct
they both got dumbed down for casual players
and then they still don't touch the armies because the dumbed down version still has too much complexity

also the fact that GW's push to simplify the game to make it more appealing to people who don't play regularly
cut multiple army rules
which gut several armies
LMAO
Drukhari, GSC, Admech, Space Marines(ironic I know), and Tyranids all ate varying levels of shit
to complexity due to GW's goal of making the game more casual friendly
which again failed
because GW just fucking BACKLOADED THE COMPLEXITY INTO DATASHEETS
YOU'RE NOT MAKING IT MORE SIMPLE, IF ANYTHING ITS MORE COMPLEX
HOW THE FUCK IS SOMEONE NEW SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHICH VERSION OF THE LEMAN RUSS GETS REROLLS AND WHICH ONE DIES HARDER
okay sorry
got that issue with 10e off of my chest
its weird because aos got uber simplified and tied complex mechanics to their big characters
AoS 4e imo is treading the same failures as 10e regarding complexity shift
but at least AoS doesn't have units that look almost the exact same
have different abilities
so its much more excusible
Also this is more fine for AoS since AoS is much more hero hammery
very true
i will say army buidling got shafted pretty hard, i almost feel like the games shoudl switch amry building
but meh its fun trying to get lists to wrok
yeah no
I don't like massive simplification of army building
AoS's armybuilding is imo rn more complex
part of the fun is putting the force together
40k has hero attaches, which was soimethng aos players were expecting for a while
tbf
that was something back from 3e of 40k
or 2e
WHFB ironically never had it as a primary mechanic
and aos already had attache style units
I'm glad attaching leaders is back
it seems really fun when in armies that arent hell
alot of armies like fec, dok, gloomspite are very key word heavy so it could work
and like half of chaos is keyword split
I've been out of the loop on balance, how are things sitting?
i really wanan run a monsterlist
Chaos Daemons are commiting terrorism in 40k
lol
is the big one
in AoS its uh
still nighthaunt in the lead

fec has been wrecking
there was jsut a abalance patch for aos
Wait FEC aren't bottom of the barrel anymore?
that htey didnt admit
Damn
but whatever its funny
they are getting a battletome soon
You miss one update and the world turns upside down
i think you missed 2 if you didnt see hte fec buff
Oh
Woehammer is the best one for AoS stats right
I know stat-check is by far the best for 40k
but I'm less sure for AoS stats
I wanted like a WR chart
Goonhammer is nice
shame that the name choice retroactively became
certinaly a choice
oh my bad i was sending the rules update
i think it was mostly orruk changes
Yeah Gue'vesa usually refers to humans absorbed into the Tau empire
cool
🧊

The fuck cybernetic arm and fucked up head half says a lot
"If I were a BAD demoman, I wouldn't SITTING HERE DISCUSSING IT WITH YA. WOULDN'T I?"
Ah
Explicator is one
I'm cooking up a story and need my ranks and stuff straight
Generally it goes
Acolyte: Lots of sub ranks and stuff here, very broad. Generally just like, means you work for the Inquisition on some level
You're in the retinue on some level, but you could be a simple servant or a merc who got taken on. Very broad.
Explicator is above that, it generally means you have been singled out and are potentially being groomed to be an Inquisitor
Interrogator means you're definitely being seen as possible Inquisitor material, and is the step before Inquisitor generally.
Theres also High Interrogator but we don't see that much, basically just, Interrogator+
In order to become a Inquisitor you need the support of three Inquisitors, which includes your mentor, or a Lord Inquisitor.
And theres trials and stuff, Interrogators are often sent on solo missions and other wildly dangerous things to prove they're ready.
And a lot never make the jump.
I also know that Inquisitors generally do their own thing and can promote or demote their acolytes however they see fit
Basically, theres a ton of leeway with how they run their own shop.
Because they have a funny little badge that says "The Emperor Says I Can Do What I Want"
They can basically make whoever they want into Interrogators or Explicators or whatever but in order for an Interrogator to become an Inquisitor they need extra support or to be an Inquisition Lord, and thats just to get them into the door.
The Ordo itself then tests them extensively to see if they're fit.
Hmm so it dosent really matter if the character I'm brainstorming is an Explicator or an Interrogator
It depends on where you want them on their path.
Explicator isn't a rank used a ton, but its basically the first step and likely still fairly young and new in the retinue. Interrogators tend to be decades deep into their career with the Inquisitor.
Explicator just means they're seen as having potential to make the next step.
All of this can vary a lot depending on the Inquisitor too
Some have vast warbands and a lot of agents and stuff, which is what we see in Darktide with Grendyl. Some keep it much closer to the chest.
And are much more personally involved with their lower level people.
Yeah I'm shooting for more of an espionage angle with the character
So far the very basic framework of their role is that their Inquisitor has assigned them to investigate a planet with reports of heresy/sedition/xenos or whatever, and it's being treated like one last trial before they make Inquisitor themselves
So probably an Interrogator
Probably yeah
Its up to you, its open ended.
Its the boring answer but, its how it is for Rogue Traders and Inquisitors, its made to be open ended.
Yeah which is why Inquisitors make for such good stories, less red tape in the way in terms of lore
I think i have a really good idea for a story cooking up
btw, do we know Melk's rank within the warband? he seems to almost outrank Rannick in a way
He's a BMF
Nah, it’s just not that simple
Hadron and Morrow for example don’t have technical ranks that we know but their duties and control is pretty high up
In Inquisition terms that is
Rannick technically outranks them all but they can also probably talk to Grendyl directly so it’s not that simple
Its like the difference between NCO and COs in the military
Experience and seniority matter and even if someone outranks someone it doesn’t mean they can always tell them what to do or that they care to.
so they cant flat out pull rank and ignore Rannick but they can pressure him if they need too basically
So basically
What do y'all think Paradise Worlds look like
planet size Dubai
Honestly I can imagine it still being like
A shithole on the outside.
But there's a fake sky covering all of the smog and shit
So it looks Sunny
But it's still shit air quality wise
Don't ask how the fake sky works

He’s in command but they still have Grendyl’s ear
to pad the egos of the rich
2/3 of those are already done by regular cities though
Not sure about the rich idiot part though

I guess major cities also fit the bill
Like Los Angeles or New York

why is that one idiot CEO trying to build a new city near Phoenix instead of improving the already existing city? because improving something isnt as grand as making something new
the mega rich are all man children and only care about grand standing
it depends, some are literal natural paradises and some have domed cities built to be paradises
Honestly why don't CEOs do more awesome shit instead of making new city or a new monument.
If I was rich I would totally make a really extravagant dog park
More difficult to put something under your name when it has already existed for a long time.
And renovating something often mean that there are still people from before, people that those rich people do not want
Money corrupt, and or they were already corrupt
They don't work on the same morales as normal peoples
If you're already corrupt, why not do something funny
Make a gigantic cock shaped building
you dont become mega rich by being good and virtuous
Who's gonna stop you??
they already do that lol
"Why does this extremely dangerous warp-mutated orgywreck of ships need the heaviest armored Marines to explore it? Its not dangerous is it?"

are they stupid
Brother
I do hate how much also assholes like Abnett play into this shit
Oh man I can guess what the comments are like
There was like 2 40k comments
One of them was going "oh well the imperium isn't what the Emperor wanted!!! If you look at the horrible monsters the genocide of all those innocent people is totally justified"
God fuck off
you can't do anything bad when you have hair that look this good past 60 years old
The only difference between 30k and 40k Imperium is one just had more fire/manpower lol
also no religion, which doesnt exactly do much
Bro when he finds out the only major difference between then and now is the Ecclesiarchy...
The mental gymnastics in these kind of threads
Like, as I always say
its easier to say these IRL unless you are on a planet being invaded by space marines for "compliance", im sure you'd welcome them with open arms then lol
Yeah it is
Cerci one of the minor sorceress characters in DC shows Amanda Waller a vision of the future where a warlord lady will take over the earth if they dont stop her now when shes a nobody princess.
^
Hence all the planetary genocide images and all the dead heroes impaled on spikes and shit
Recommended watch btw, its from James Gunn so always worth it
Also that.
I'll check it out this weekend
i highly doubt those so called those advance armor can take over the world because bro like it has been shown multiple times that that **** ain't bulletproof
and you're telling me that thing is gonna put superman on the ground?
yeah no
Well we do know Cerci wasnt lying.
The Princess bitch probably found better material or something

Grodd is my favorite fictional gorilla, sorry Winston
the competition isn't really that fierce
Yeah but statements must be made
True, it's not like Titus is that interesting
a nerd versus a gorilla with mind control powers

Grodd also wanted to make America Grodd Again like Ed said
Winston did nothing for 9 years
fucking Overwatch

Excuse you, that's Barack Obama

the song in that section is SOOOO fucking good
i got it saved on my phone, its a banger
I cannot get over how much of a musical trivia knowledge Gunn has
Show was pretty solid, needed more episodes. The little twist at the end felt like it needed way more setup.
every media he makes makes me discover songs id never find myself
phosphorus absolutely melting a tank with the song is great
its one of the selling points/best part of his products imo
It’s his signature
yeah he basically puts them in as like
"well i like this song, i hope people do too"
and it always works lol
James Gunn master of the obscure
He does it in literally every movie he’s done I think
Hes just really musically "cultured" i guess
the songs always are kinda seperated and fit the scenes they are in
compared to uh
the first Suicide Squad movie?
💀
Its definitely fast but i liked it that way, ironically somewhat makes it more digestable.
I had people tell me its "trash" because people swear constantly in it but i didnt really see it lol
It was good it’s just the “surprise” villain needed more to it
People dont like being reminded of how much people swear IRL when having banter
That whole bit is super rushed by the end
Yeah it was good but definitely needed more
like it did made me go "oh shit" but also "welp"
The boobs distracted me
Also I’m not really sure how that girl was taking over the entire world and killing the Justice league but
I guess
Whatever
Yeah dumber things have happened in comics
this is the only suicide squad movie that matters if you remind me with the other one i will absolutely burn down anything i see
The suicide squad movie is legit peak
never had as much fun in cinema as much as I had with this movie, its so good

yeah and they did something I can't believe they did in modern day cinema, Make Nanotech exciting
Dude Bloodsport's tech was so fucking cool
Peacemaker was pretty good, one of his weaker things I thought, but I mostly liked it.
Yeah honestly
Yeah every character was really fun
It's the best type of nanotech I have seen
polka dot man was sad though
rare death where i actually laughed but also felt sad lol
Imagine becoming a freak of nature because your mother is so obsessed with superheroes
I’m curious if Superman will be any good
The trailers really don’t do it for me at all
Super Hero movies are better when they're not trying to be overly serious
I'm feeling pretty positive about it, given how I don't really care for most what Gunn has made
It depends, you just have to write it well, which obviously is hard
Like have the social commentary, but don't treat yourself like you're doing a masterpiece thinking movie
I have some issues with Gunns writing, I think he does it better than most but he doesn’t let the dramatic stuff breathe enough sometimes
That show is on like season 4 by now but I've never heard anything about it
Oh that one
It’s fine, I think part of the problem with it is the novelty has worn off a little
Yeah like you'd think it'd be prime grift material what with the humour and Yuri ntr
But not even they've touched it afaik which is kinda shocking
The first couple seasons were a more fresh idea but Harley Quinn has been kinda
Overdone
🎶 No one does it better than the Birds of Prey. 🎶

Like DC on FACE...
Also reminds me of this
Where in a kids show
They make a bunch of innuendos about how superheros are bad at sex
Except Batman
that's kinda what happened with the boys as well
Poor Kite man getting NTRd
like they were good but how long can you stretch them
The Boys writing has drastically dropped
I was rewatching season 1
And it’s insane how much better it is
Yeah out of the three shows that I know that are still continuing and have a positive reception much is like only invincible
And they bother to like, think through the powers
It should have ended like two seasons ago
But whatever
like invincible held itself still
Yeah that has very strong source material
which is nowadays pretty impressive
Which goes on for some time
The Boys they made it better but the source material kinda sucked and they’ve been dragging it out
And now there’s gonna be spinoffs with soldier boy and probably others
The one uh
I feel like they have far too little actual consequences for the homelander side
Generation V
It feels pretty nihilistic by the end
It feels more and more silly each season that Homelander doesn’t kill then
Which is kinda the issue of having a villain like that but
Idk
Next season is probably the last at least
Idk how they can drag it out more
Especially when it's shown he is basically allowed wanton murder with no consequence
Also the shock value stuff is just so
Eh
It’s got some very good actors which elevate it
Antony Starr did the exact same with Banshee
I love that show and it really has no business being any good, but he and a few other actors elevated it way beyond what it should have been
Brave and the Bold my beloved

its kinda why Im pretty excited for the Superman movie
the populace has also kinda gone through a phase of like
"superman should be serious" to "Superman should just be a nice person, i miss that era"
its pretty funny
One of my favorite meme trends with starman
Same, it kinda wore itself out but it was still pretty wholesome which is strange for most memes nowadays lol
It definitely had a huge hand in it for me, I kinda prefered Superman to be a bit "grounded" sometimes but him just being a nice person is definitely missed by a lot of the viewing audience which is why i also got high hopes
Have you not yet learned to not be excited for new stuff?
ive not watched a single project of his I hated, he also extremely gets superheroes which helps
Also has this weird ass talent to make the most obscure characters extremely likable
I dont know how him and his team do it lol
oof

Amazing what you can do when you actually pay for good writers
💪
I clapped when i saw captain america's shield
also i clapped when end credits scene
KEK
wasnt there a recent comic where superman was trying to not solve every problem earth had because dr fate or someone told him he was making humans dependent on him and hurting their ability to deal with problems on their own?
Yeah but comics are stupid.
There’s a Staaaaaaaaarmaaaaaa-
AAAAAA
Rodall Juhziz mains when interacting with the world
I want a comedy sketch of a suicide bomber using his vest for like, basic shit
And how it’s improved his life
eternal guess what
Like he goes into a restaurant and wants his combo upgraded so he just pulls out the vest
Yeah might need some brushing up
maybe a bit of time in a ethyl acetate solution to dissolve the outer later will help
i like to imagine the text on the barrels is a name given to each cannon by the iron hands
this here's the hammer of medusa and this one is your eternal reward
Considering we have direct stories where IH get borderline romantic with their vehicles
It’s not unlikely
The wild thing with Fellblades and other variants, is they’re still driven by one marine really.
There two other crew there for the sponsons
as in driven and operates the turret as well
die
Depends, it could either be a crew of serfs and what not or it can be crewed by three marines
The commander is capable of controlling the tank by himself
But optimally all three are doing different things
But especially if they’re augmented properly, marines can pilot a lot of vehicles like that by themselves
And do, Land Raiders being another example
Well yeah but it seems a bit sub-optimal to have the commander do all that by himself, even if they're an augmented space marine
land raiders are turretless anyways so that's not that surprising
They’re not though, they’re controlling the guns on them
turret as in the big rotating gun platform on top of tanks
those are called turrets
Being able to drive around and control the main gun and side guns is pretty basic stuff for any marine
Especially ones with an MIU
Techmarines and so on
do space marine pilots look any different to normal battle brothers?
I know, you're just mixing up the terminology, tank's turret is the rotating platform where the main gun is located
Techmarines but not really for most
Most marine drivers and pilots aren’t Techmarines
And probably only have an MIU augment if that
It’s also common they strip the pauldrons and use the vehicle to power their armor
To save space
makes sense
But it depends
I really wanna convert the top guy to an IH Decurion but
Man that’s a lot of stuff to shave off
ye i've seen it said in enough books that marines are trained in all of their vehicles to assume it's common knowledge
on a related note, is it not a little funny that the fellblade is clearly meant to sound like a baneblade but the falchion and glaive dont follow the naming convention
I want his helmet
I'd say Fellblade is the odd one out where as Glaive and Falchion are both bladed weapons
Also it’s fun
what are the hive nobles going to do? hire some underhivers to kill you?
that's just free practise

welp i have no idea
Probably some scenery, maybe Warcry ?
do they do Old world in rumor engines now
I don't see why they wouldn't
yeah all i see is it's probably age of sigmar
but a small chance that it might be old world
all i see is ether rebar or nid biostructure
Rope bridge/netting or basket
the pipes making up the latus work
i guess struts would be a more accurate description
because some of them looked welded
Do we know why eldar are not joing the t'au?
because why the fuck would they?
This lol
yeah what would they gain?
for the eldar they are very much the master race of the galaxy still
Because they're stupid 🤷
To be a slave race to this young empire? Their ego couldn't handle it if nothing else
Same thing apply to Human
yup
I totally understand this. I figured they just look down on them. But i thought an alliance would help them greatly
would you join an alliance with the ants in your backyard?
thats how the eldar see the rest of the races
Security, but as of the lastest codex, rare earth minerals to make wraithbone LOL
I could see an alliance in the right circumstances but you need to understand how above everyone else the Eldar think they are lol
they do form temporary alliances when it suits them
yeah more often than not the tau can mostly diplomatically communicate with them
but eldar only care about the survival of their people
To the point that they don't think that other outside races can help them in that department
the most the other races can be is catspaws and pawns to that end
yeah and if they're reasonable enough allies from time to time
but joining another and abandoning their own empire that's just not it
Fantastic
So it WOULD be a weirdboss
Hell yeah
Alr thx tryna come up with the backstory for my ork lad
no problem
chat am i a hater for not liking chain weapons at all and kind of think theyre dumb
power weapons> chain weapons
This is just my opinion but you're the first warhammer fan I've seen that doesn't like chain weapons to some degree
badass chainsaw that saw things at the molecular lvl vs lame glowing ahh stick
chainfist are kind of cool but rest can munch it
is this real
i had a german friend once he tried to join the army on a 6 year contract denied for being not smart enough sad
Caterpillars, they are cute
not hate but how dumb do you have to be
his experience as i knew consisted of warthunder and how to lay bricks and build walls
the army rejected me for being too "based" and "cool" 😔
did he apply as an officer or something
it was something to do with mechanical or engineering if i remember
you usually need a cerification to be in technical jobs in the army and they don't take anybody into the certification programs because it's a waste of money if they can't finish the courses
he was just cooked all around tragic
by engineering do you mean like a sapper
its been like 3 years but i think he said he wanted to work on either vehicles or machines
you need the very basics to get in
he was also a proprietor of the wacky tobaccy may have been his issue if i had to guess but just didnt want to admit it
that's more like it, if they sniff that shit in your system when testing for it you're done
afaik in most countries if you already have a technical degree they'll beg for you to join on their knees
i checked it out for the canadian army and the pay is laughable compared to the private sector
the pay is very decent here but you don't enlist for that, it's for the very long list of perks you get alongside the pay
good healthcare and pension are good until your body becomes banged up to hell at just 40
plus i can only imagine what it must be like to be an actual mechanic working with army mechanics with smooth brains
i mean it has some things to do with EC
The Tau don't do long term alliances
Their whole thing is cultural assimilation and imperialism
and the Eldar would never put themselves below another race
40k is also like very bad with other factions teaming up since everyone is über-racist.
Probably will be the least likely to shoot you though
Especially in the short term
yeah like aos and fantasy is basically the greatest examples of alliances in warhammer but even those have the usual
mess ups
Yeah those settings dont make it as difficult
Dwarves killing an entire village over a few coins type of mess up if you catch my drift
Putting a dwarf and elf together
greek mushroom men
elves that hate everyone
robot mummys that also hate everyone
etc
lol
But which flavor?
The Nature Xenophobic ones
The High ones
Or the ones that want to commit CBT on themselves and you
Yes.
Seriously where did Dark Elves come from.
Like some like Warhammer have them be like
Absolute degens
And some are just
Elves but with actual melanin

no
elves with melanin are normal elves and wood elves
dark elves lack melanin
they're called dark because they live in dark places
and are evil
🔪
how did dark elves become a thing in fantasy again
civil war
i see
also I just got a mental flashbang why is tokyo ghoul in dead by daylight now
why would you get that type of mental flash
Also back to 40k (painful I know)
But I genuinely kinda wish Exodites were more of a thing.
At the same time though... In a galaxy where even the craftworlders use tech
The fucking Amish elves kinda uh
idk because they chose the main character lmao
who kills like
Pretty much all the dark elves in warhammer are just evil elves like most form of media, its pretty basic 101
a single person
Suck
Was referring to media in general
and doesn't kill any humans until like way later and a weird mutation thing happens and they become flesh godzilla
also the answer is DnD
or Warhammer
unironically
DnD first
since Dark Elves for Tolkien
I could've sworn at least some other fantasy worlds have dark elves refer to elves with melanin.
...and also some racist undertones since they're evil-
The trope of dark elves originally was inspired by uh
Tolkien is based.
to be honest warhammer probably popularise the most basic fantasy traits of like the four races, humans don't excel at anything but are pretty good at living, elves think of themselves as higher than everyone because of magic and stuff, dwarves living in mountains and being master Craftsman, and orcs being green monsters that can challenge anything through brute strength
Melniboneans who are from Michael Moorcock which warhammer stole a ton of shit from
who all live in a massive island paradise being hedonistic twats
Like even if you don't like Lord of the Rings. You can like him for his sheer enthusiasm of mythology tbh
they werent elves originally
but uhhh future media depicted them as fae-like
warhammer stole it from there and it spread
I think warhammer probably set up the foundations for like the basics of the four most popular fantasy races
its also why dark elves at one point in warhammer worshipped chaos
since its what Melniboneans also did
Arrogant elves stubborn dwarves warmongering orcs and tough humans
Nah that was also DnD
A part of me kinda feels sad that the concept of Orks/Orcs basically being British Football Hooligans didn't catch on
then came LOTR movies which invented said tropes
true
since it had more wider media appeal
of how the fantasy 4 is viewed
fantasy settings using the same races and themes for 70 years
the three of them definitely put down the foundations
I mean
when they dont people get mad
so theres no reason to deviate
lol
DnD tried not making all orks savages and they got mad that it was "woke"
or whatever the fuck

yeah that
Loved the short scene that has a... person talk for Sauron.
The mouth being so filthy and disgusting due to him essentially relating Sauron's words
and everything original has to be "generic chimera beast-man race"
yeah why change it
i prefer sci fi because aliens can be weird
Seriously though the concept of like
Somebody being so fucking evil that even relaying their words to other people rots your mouth is a sick concept
But you like warhammer which is using the four fantasy races in a sci-fi setting
a real conundrum isn't it
it's incredibly ironic yeah
Do the T'au count? Are they a parallel to anything in fantasy?
aliens can be weird
humanoid ahhh
Star Trek moment
to be fair star trek explains it
its mostly a budget thing which is a fair excuse
I do like a lot of Star Wars background alien designs
most other media doesnt kinda have that since like
well
they arent from the fucking 60's

and a tv show
star trek also has tons of non humanoids but everybody ignores that for the joke
A sci-fi Gacha game (please don't kill me) has the excuse by just having aliens
Not fucking exist.
And by that I mean most of them are like unintelligent animals
Settings that do that really make me laugh
gacha
It's just that humanity, due to spreading around for so long, has evolved into different forms
die
I'm used to it
Anyways, it doesn't help that essentially what could only be described as
Minor Chaos Gods began forming
And uh
Changing people into different, radical shapes
It's also really funny because there are two subspecies
The Foxians and the Borisin
this the person that decided that the fictional pet that he would present to his class is a chaos spawn
The Foxians are literally just
People with fox ears and a tail.
And the other are literally cannibalistic furries that constantly have a thirst for blood and constantly murder people
at this point you would do the world a service
ignoring the fact it was already a thing before
as well lmao
Studying to be a computer engineer btw
even by DnD themselves
Yeah but even Tolkien kinda proves the point saying he didnt want to make them a one-note race that is just evil.
they had like other non forgotten realms settings
yeah
Again
Tolkien is based
Hes definitely smarter than most of us in this room thats for sure
he did a good job for a setting he created in a handful of books
"Hm. What should I name a Hobbit family that is proud of their feet."
ye me joke
He was like an extreme mythology buff as well
guy was homebrewing before homebrewing was even a thing
I think he actually translated Beowulf
Like
The English translations we use in schools are translated by him
mfw we still get shows and games of LoR
that's his estate

If people are mad about orcs wait until they hear about good aligned tieflings
Orcs in the Elder Scrolls are my favorite
Well
Second
I started learning about them due to meeting a random encounter in Skyrim
And it's still one of my favorites
Because you will literally be walking through a path and then an Orc literally starts a conversation
And he's like
"FINALLY A CHANCE TO FUCKING KILL MYSELF"
"Slay me in honorable combat"
Literally
those have always existed tbf
lol
It is so fucking funny to me
kobolds are good for satisfying my needs
Like for all he knew. The dragonborn was literally just
Yeah just think its funny theres some outrage about orcs
Walking to get to the nearest town
And then
"PLEASE FUCKING KILL ME."
I obliged of course.
Orc armor in Skyrim looks fucking sick btw
i want to find the anti ork crowd in the 40k community
No such thing
At most you're neutral to Orks
You can hate the Ork fanbase
But you can never hate Orks
Also I like Goblins
Idk why I think they're neat
Silly little guys that are looking to stab me
It's also how finding Umbra in Morrowind turns out. He's just some sadass orc in the middle of nowhere that wants to die a warriors death
The Orcs* literally are just the Dwarf Slayers
Accidentally forgot the furbishing of the table?
KILL YOURSELF.
I have no idea exactly why I find that funny as shit but I do
Real
he has always been shown as such afaik
replica
oh right i dont think worshipers get to see him in person
i was mislead by the cables
its only natural the cult shows the emperor as vastly larger than anyone else
can you imagine if he actually was that big in life, hiding in the Himalayas
The Emperor circa M3
i know the event that depicts
the giant was reported to have blue skin or blue paint covering its skin
giant tau
yeah its a wild story
it's just another giant myth with tacked on army stuff
Funny to think of the emperor trying to blend in regular humans for so long
he was hiding away like a bitch waiting for the moment he could take full control of humanity
full on waiting for the age of strife in his redditor cave
Thats not very heroic
He was pulling that classic dicktator move, classic
Probably wasn't his first time trying to take power
Well we do know he was Alexander at least
which uh, knowing the man himself explains a lot
Actually, yes it wasn't

Still wager that he say he was, but I don't buy it
Its added in by Abnett
he thought it sounded cool but it makes no sense
add it to the list lol
he also burnt down the Tower of Babbling
Same way he is saying he invented the Bolter or what ever
yeah the bolter existed before he did, though that the book at least says
not that people know this in-universe tho lol
no, that would be Jhon Bolter
i like to believe he was just because he gave up too early
I mean theres nothing to believe, he was.
guy can't ever finish his projects
he just got bored and killed himself
he saw humanity conquer the stars and still didn't think it was good
What the fuck i thought it was like way later
he died of ligma
Yes
his body is lost to time
ligma what-
GW/BL wouldn't have the balls, but I bet he was involved with the Nazi
It probably got dunked in a river
or emperor ran away
Prolly not considering he doesn’t give a shit about race
Lol
If anything facist Italy
Is more likely
fair
The Emperor is the type to be like
"Adolf had great ambition but had to waste it on racism."
Or Spain
he was probably pissed that nazis liked the occult
💀
yeah like i said
Fuck they’re going to find out about the warp
hes the type to say wild shit like that
like writers write the emperor as way too sane
or well "normal"
if he was real he'd be someone like the Immortal in that one dimension
then he does the wildest shit
you get what I mean lol
He just outwardly projects normality
Tbf that wasn’t ||immortals fault||
Oh we might get news of Hotline Miami 3, that'd be nice
the good old psyker excuse for inconsistent character traits
yeet
||its robots|| big spoilers
Well
In the comics at least
Robot had the right idea too
"Im gonna make an army of gene-gorillas and call them space marines"
bruh just make an army of robots
smh
LOL
Yes
Gene gorillas are the best approach
Rex is dead
yeah but ironmen or something
Yeah hes dead-dead
true true
He blew his entire body up
i said spoiler it 😭
LOL
Bruh
Rex died again?
Fucks sake
Again?
💀
King Lizard rise up
the fact that the blackiverse guy survived having his brain splattered made me never trust any death
That’s HIS NAME
and i thought this was a 40k lore chat
I mean
Smh
Invincible is kinda 40k
We can go back to 40K lore
Extreme luck
like
theres people IRL
that survived shit like that
its extremely again rare tho
his skull was mush
I mean no
What did GW mean by this
it was just a bullet wound
No
dilara
shut the fuck up!!!
give me my tech jacket
let them cook, we'll get him...
holy shit now i wont be unable to unsee that
LMFAO
oh for angstrom
angstrom lierally just
hired not-haemonculi
also that
he had the senses to portal
hes the greatest warrior of yakub
while he looked like beef stew
But seriously what did GW mean with the silver knight of slaanesh thing
what kind of shit the human body can survive lol
Did they update it?
No
why bring up that old story
do you have the actual excerpt
