Well at least he is still around
I just hope to the workshop gods that he might show up on a completely new story
The raptor god is the most mysterious of the minor chaos gods
Mostly since they’ve never had a proper appearance
Beyond “we know they exist and they give blessings”
Oh yeah that one so forgotten i have no idea it existed until you just reminded me right now
The marines that guy usually blesses use like
The chaos jetpacks right
They’re hippity hoppity
And their only exclusively jump pack chaos marines
Well this just makes me more confused
A god that particularly likes chaos marines with jump packs
Eyo, are there any real celtic like factions other than the eldar?
Anything
For the imperium there’s the Storm Wardens for marines and Drookian Fenguard
I can’t think of anything for Tau or Chaos
I know T'au are more Chinese/Japanese.
Tau are like
Chaos are Anarchist and satanic Sunday school teachers
Tau are weeb NATO
But I can only think of those 2 for like
Explicitly Irish/celtic inspired stuff for the imperium
Tanith and Iron Hands have some Scottish elements
The Emperors Spears have broad, vague celtic influences
I like em, just want something celtic other than the eldar who are also mixed with Egyptian, Mediterranean and some Asian esc stuff
Emperors Spears
Are they naked with blue body paint ?
Also this is funny to me considering the old hammer Desperation to find an insult for them
Their homeworld is called Nemeton, which is some sacred celtic space or something iirc
not Celtic enough ngl
Seems more Norse to me
I've been baited and switched, It's like helllade all over again
spaces wolves literally turn into werewolves you can do better than this
It’s a little of both, if you read their book they’re blatantly Celtic though
Generally most of these things aren’t just one thing though
In case anyone to ask I was referring to the communist accusation, And I know how that started a war between them and the eldar Fandom...
Storm Wardens are definitely very Celtic though
Perhaps 80s britain wasn't typical in the celts...
Emperors Spears have collectivized specialists like chaplains, apothecarie and the rest into just druids
I shudder
the runes for the spears are also called ogham runes in 40k, same as the early irish thing
Yeah
They’re blatantly Celtic
Idk if you need them to have kilts and a bagpipe and be drinking to complete the look but
Leprechaun chapter symbol
There's a lot of overlap with viking/celtic stuff, as they had a lot of contact irl
Wait, tainth first and only, they count?
Well, I work for big dyslexia you see...
I totally forgot about these guys.
mkill
And they even get hot ganger GFs from other worlds
I guess there's also Tangar Woad Warriors, they have one line of lore or something though
I'd prefer Irish imagery but hey this is fine!
Well that guy isn’t space Scottish or Irish so it works out
He’s from a different planet
I knows
Still cool
I am no artist, with words or a brush. I can shit post tho..
Well
The secret ingredient is theft for writing/hj
don't actually plagerize but taking inspiration
always is good lol
@storm jungle I was trying to find the right thing to represent a Combi Weapon in 40k 10th edition rules, and my head suddenly landed on the funniest idea…
…using a Stub Cannon bit instead.
(Because the 10th edition profile absolutely suck at representing any existing combinations…)
Hey when the official material doesn’t provide nothing stops you from improvising

I come back here & it’s filled w ghosts
We know we're all dead inside
sunday do nothing day
are assault cannons also shooting bolts or they technically stubbers
Its basically a lower caliber autocannon
So sorta in between, but yeah not a bolter.
basically just
Thats why terminators use them
Centipede gang rise up
I didn’t get ash waste because they only had 2 bugs but now with 3….
i guess we'll never get series/animation representation of anything except ultramarines and cadians
i want some Necromunda stuff in Edgerunners style
Actually they have 5 bugs now
It would be so good
At least four
No I mean
It’s ongoing, it’s during Indomitus
Not exactly clear when
They may have mentioned by now
But yeah, it’s during the “current era”
Unclear
Each mission is done once
Some maybe repeated
Some missions are a little more story driven than others especially more recently
right
I thinking it's only been a few weeks since the rejects got out of prison
Its been way more
2 years or so at best, one of the shorts FS released mentions it along with Zola and Rannick mentiong months have passed between other ops.
There’s way too many events happening for it to have been just a “few” weeks
So the rejects have been on the morning star for two years?
"Do you even know how pickles become pickles" - my friend
"Yea, by cucumbering vinegar
" - me
Yes.
Thank you my foreign friend
👍
that's all I needed
Speaking of rejects
Is last chancers like the first book of ciaphas cain, with the party of sentenced to death prisoners element
No
It’s a separate series
Oh wait nvm
I misread
Yes, it’s a dirty dozen kinda deal
Penal world, wacky cast
They go on a wacky mission

Suicide Squad but stereotyped cast kind of thing. The books are so and so but youll prob like it

Their most “recent” book was a few years ago but its like two decades old as a series
One of the better ones too ironically lol
Wacky books in this setting definitely hit
If you like Cain then you’ll like these

Who keeps letting bro cook
At least it'll be fun in between the parts where I have to watch a listers talk gibberish at eachother.
They just dont stop him from coding while on meth
What shorts?? Didn't know they had those for DT
An Ork boy is on a quest to krump some gitz, but first, he'll need the aid of an obstinate shoota seller. Will the seller help him on his quest, or will he direct him to a seller that sells weaker shootas because his shootas are too flash for him, only fit for Flash Gitz? "Lol" said the shoota seller. "Lmao."
Based on Potion Seller by Justin Ku...
Its largely throwaway Short stories you can find on the DT webpage written by minor GW authors
💀💀💀
Reminds me
In TWH3 I was playing a dwarf save
Load into a battle and click one of the pickaxe dwarves to position them
"MINERS" (cheering)
And yet, his games are still decent while not trend chasing. Pretty sure that he is on something stronger than meth now.
He’s on multiple

Does being emotionally intelligent make you any more resistant to the warp?
My current understanding makes it seem like being more brainwashed makes you more resistant to it despite the fact that brainwashed people are by and large much easier to manipulate
Yes
also tbf the indoctrination against the warp is of questionable use
being resistant to the warp vs swallowing imperial propaganda are 2 dif things
Fair enough
In any case avoiding warp taint entirely is the best way to avoid corruption
I guess ||Eisenhorn just doesn't communicate that virtue very well, at least as far into the book as I've gotten and with my interpretation of the events so far||
I'm glad in canon that being a more organized person instead of swallowing the blind faith pill helps you resist the taint
Because I feel like it just makes more sense
Any Abnett fans that can tell me if I’ve gotten the years somewhat correct?
- Horus Heresy: 30 000
- Eisenhorn: 40 249 - 390
- Ravenor / Bequin: 40 400 - 500 ?
- Gaunt’s Ghosts: 40 755 - 791
- ”Present” year / Darktide: 40 999 ~ 41 100
If you're in charge of your thoughts and rationale you should in fact be more resistant to outside influences
Titus is shown as very chaos resistant due to his hatred. I wouldn't take him for very emotionally intelligent.
But I guess he is determined in his ways.
The irony of the 40k era Imperial Creed is that it doesn’t do what real world established religions tends to do: provide, albeit wrapped in mythological language, a philosophical outlook on life (which then helps deal with emotion)
I personally interpret GW’s stance on the Imperial Truth (of the Great Crusade era when Emps tried to end religion) is actually a very, very quiet jab at the uniquely American take on Atheism.
If it was just hatred 99.999999999% of imperials would be near immune
It's some BS about le epic willpower so he seems more unique than factory line shooter protagonist 58
Although having initially agreed with you, I must then add the following…
In 40k, if you are in control of your emotions in general, and you are situated far, far away from any warp energy or occurrences, yes, you do resist Chaos better.
But Throne help you if you are in physical proximity to Warp energy or sorcery attacks (or similar conduits like tainted text or symbols). In THIS case, Chaos is likely to just “brute force hack” your brain anyways.
Your ball of grey matter is fallible even when you're an in control "stoic"
Chaos doesn't get followers by being honest
“Stoic” control only works against Chaos appealing to you softly, basically.
Otherwise they just expose you to raw power of the warp to drive you mad.
The latter is why the Inquisition is so paranoid.
Anything can become a brute force brain hack tool once tainted by Chaos or Warp.
Paintings, textbooks, tools, symbols, (scrap)code…
so did they have a plan if they accidentally just straight up killed horus and couldn't bring him back after the anthrax dagger or whatever the fuck it was called
Presumably the Chaos gods would have directed Lorgar or Erebus to do something else then.
Probably in response to whoever is next in line to be Warmaster.
He seems very emotionally regulated in the second game
I dunno about first game but he is definitely shown to be contemplative and uses tactics that "defy muh codex", but are still good-natured
Of course you can still be manipulated if you're in control, but it would only make sense for it to be harder
But the "soft" vs. "brute force" manipulation explanation makes sense to a degree
Forcing someone to witness things beyond comprehension is definitely a good way to make them falter
I can see how you get to that point, it's definitely at the very least a case of good intentions gone about in the wrong way
Tbf the latter also helps since the Warp is basically powered by emotions and beliefs
There literally exists a woman who was so fucking delusional and so self believing
That she ATE two Slaaneshi greater Daemons while she was still human
The third time she wanted to get a snack, Slaanesh just decided to skip to the inevitable and made her a Daemon Prince(ss)

Also wait a minute
Mf was like
"Mmmm that keeper of secrets tasted great. I want another one."
Blind faith does make you more resistant
We understand different things by emotional intelligence it seems.
Again it's more in terms of like
Belief in general tbh
/delusion
Willpower
Which faith can be a cheap buy in to
More like unlikely
Also it is funny
To imagine like
A Daemon trying to tempt someone
And the dude's like
I doubt factory worlder James seeing 90 people die on his line every week sitting in his 2 inch room is going to be very stable of mind
"Nah. I'm going to therapy and I really don't want to impede my progress."
Tbf I think that's partially why Daemons can easily corrupt
Because people are in such a shit state of mind
I mean it isn't partially, it just is
Basically if you're working 18 hours shifts everyday, watching a child lose his limb to the ball crusher machine(tm)
There's a boot on your neck, and another boot comes over and tells you it'll let you kick the one crushing your spine
You might just say
"YOU MEAN that if I make a deal with you... I can kill my boss? Fuck yeah!"
The really weird thing with Chaos, then, is either you are an extreme stoic, or just be 200%, sister of battle levels of devoted to the Emperor.
Anything else on between cannot do you much good.
Which, sadly, is where most of humanity is.
I mean in between would ideally not be in a position to be tempted
However anything in between is busy being brutally enslaved by the other two
If you're comfortable, love your family, etc. You generally will be less tempted by the warp entity telling you to eat babies

But sadly we go back to the brute force aspect
Unfortunately for 90% of the human population, babies probably taste better than the shit they eat
Assuming that is an option for Chaos, admittedly.
(literally in some cases)
And of course, now that I mention it
The “brute force” capabilities of Chaos may also make Imperial authorities callous
Why bother to do good work, after all
If Chaos can just brainwash people into evil anyways?
(Granted we know this is a horrible thing, but the concept of “don’t bother” is…alarmingly common in humanity)
Which is kind of exactly why the Imperium has such a pain in the ass of a time trying to fight chaos LMAO
Thus why the brainwashing is a cheap stand-in to emotional integrity
Still works a little
To keep it simple, it as the more will power you have, the more you can resist the warp.
I mean they do brainwash people
That's what more or less imperial culture is based on, brainwashing the masses into lockstep
Having something that's not chaos to believe in fix a lot of the will power issue for many people.
Yeah
If everyone's quality of life wasn't utter dogshit then chaos would be a lot rarer
To prove your will power through trials is a more wasteful and brutal way to do it.
Idk if the Silver Knight is canon but I thought it was really neat that there was someone who made it to the end of Slaanesh's domain and just barely faltered in time to not attack him
That was one of the first stories I heard of 40k before I got more into its media
Silver knight is canon yeah
Wasn't it something about grieving for his wife or something, some temptation about being with her again that made him falter?
My friend told me the story and afaIk marines don't really get married to people so I'm thinking slight misinformation
That’s the whfb version.
The 40K version has them see a child/young man
Take that how you will
Man...
I don't like this story anymore
Like many Nazis, the femboy was simply too powerful for him
💀
Tbh
We don’t even know if the silver knight
Is from the imperium
Fucks sake for all we know it could be some xenos species that’s long extinct
I'm saying this under the assumption it's a grey knight, which he probably isn't, but it's needed for the Nazi joke so
The ambiguity is a lot stronger for 40K
But yeah the best assumption is GK
Because blade with runes + silver armor + knight lol
Don't forget he actually makes it that far
Tbf
Being built better allows it
He’s not the only known person to make it to the center
He’s just the one who wanted to go bash slaanesh’s head in with a sword
I feel like that lends it more credence than not seeing as he got there without falling first
Anyway fighting something that powerful on its own terms on home turf? Probably wasn't gonna work out
In any case I do wonder what the center of the palace is like
Like wtf do the people who made it there do in it
They don’t get killed
Eh, whatever we get will probably be pretty underwhelming
However, it is kind of odd. Aside from a very few grey knight characters, they don't wander alone like that.
i dont think its a grey knight
mostly for copium reasons
but also its just an apochypal story and yeah who says its even someone from the last 10k years?
like if it's a grey knight, they've already gone completely mental by setting off on their own to try and kill slaanesh
i'd buy it more if it was some inquisitor character thats doing it
I love moon knight edits so much
and it's funny since he has legit comic moments that are funnier
The problem is idk which ones are real and which are edited lmao

That’s the best part, half the time the silliest ones are
I’m pretty sure this one is real
These are all real.
It’s not totally out of character for him
Tbh I always like the idea that it isn't a GK or anything we actually know about
It's just some dude with silver armor looking to stab Slaanesh
Unknown if he's human, some Xenos, etc.
it was hatsune miku as far as I'm concerned
Man, I can feel the tailbone practically be dislocated when looking at this
There is the theory that Kaldor Draigo is the Grey Knight.
That would be both lame and interesting at the same time
Lame because
Sphess Marine glazing #38482919
Interesting because they could write it as happening both in 40k and in the past
Because warp timey-wimey bullshit
Dude, I was joking around.
How much of a threat do other factions find the Imperium to be?
What do they think of Imperium? A threat that needs to be dealt with ASAP? Just something to keep an eye on? An annoying pest? A laughingstock?
It’s easier to name who doesn’t consider them an existential threat or a massive issue that needs to be dealt with
Necrons, Drukhari, Nids(???)
Humans are just food to drukhari and nids
This list don't include orc and chaos?
Mortal and space marine chaos followers consider the imperium a big issue
Orks are N/A regarding assessment of factions
But not the demons/gods themselves?
The only time the imperium is a big issue or existential threat for the Orks is when they don’t get a good fight
only Eldar and Dark eldar really tick them off
Unclear
The emperor was one
The emperor is also a corpse
As their entire battle philosophy of being not fighting but dismantling you surgically isn't something they like dealing
So I’d say no they don’t consider the imperium in its current state a threat
If anything
It’s a perfect feeding ground
orks at least get cool guns if they beat Tau
you can't use spiky scrawny or eldar tech most of the time
I was watching a Isyander Koda video yesterday. He said something like- after the rift was opened, Emperor started growing stronger and stronger because everything warp relevant in the galaxy got buffed.
oh yeah wolf
is like
skaven and Tzeentch the only ones capable of threatening khadron cities
skaven because they have the technology to do so and the Bluebird because he likes flying a lot
a good chunk of the factions are like heavily grounded
I think anyone can threaten them if they can find a postman
But attack them, that’s a different story
i mean assembling an attack force that can threaten their sky settlements
only Skaven and Tzeentch really have the ability to do this
Being less silly, it’s not like there’s no way for these factions to fly up
There’s airships and other means
yeah but like a consistent attack force
that only really belongs to
the skaven and Tzeentch
The other factions would struggle a bit
Also getting an army there is about a tenth of the battle
I have to look it up, I swear they talk about what they get harassed by
Yeah that's why the blue bird and the rats have it easier they have portals and literally a lot of flying disk and monsters
Chaos is definitely one
Lots of factions find the Aether Gold or whatever it’s called useful
stormcast have access to lightning so I definitely think they can get there just gonna struggle getting their footing without air support of their Dragons
But that's like basically it
And harvesting it attracts beasts and stuff too
There’s a reason all of their ships and harvesting cities and stuff are fortresses
Basically as soon as they find a vein it’s a fight it seems
Yeah the only thing that can really match their fighting force on air to air combat is like again the Bluebirds and the scaven
the rats build their own rickety flying machines
tzeentch has access to magic and flying things a lot because he's that guy
Wouldn't T'au tick them off more?
no
Or is it due to the fact that the Orks encounter them less than the Eldar
like at least you can see where they are
and when you kill them you can actually use their weapons
Eldar Tech and Dark eldar tech on the one hand cannot be easily utilised
and their tactics of hit and run
and fighting on their words dirty is not enjoyable
Ork vs Necron is sad
Oh yeah Grots
Oh yeah makes sense.
Thought that the T'au would infuriate them more because they're focused on range.
Basically equivalent to trying to fight a camper
orks can match the firepower of the Tau less accurate
but more than makes up for the amount of explosions it causes
Mountain Grots basically
Tbh that's probably why honestly.
Can't use their shit at all, unlike every other faction.
Although wouldn't they be able to use Deldar guns?
Grotbag Scuttlers yeah but they need the support of the other gits to really succeed
Then again Hit and Run is probably tiring to them
"OI COME BACK SO WE CAN KRUMP YA"
very few things are more advanced than the airships of Khadron
yeah this is the same reason why they literally devolved from the war in heaven in the first place
Eldar fighting them not the fun way
Yeah, the Aetherstreams are where it gets spicy
This might sound like a stupid question.
Actually it definitely is but fuck it.
Do Orks care about pain
Not as much as everyone else
uh no
Like do they care if you torture them or will they just laugh like it's a thrill
So the Deldar weapons focused on pain effect them less?
Or do they still stop and roll around in agony
Oh you can make them feel the pain yes but more often than not it is less effective than starving them of fighting
No Drukhari weapons work on everyone
it works on them
They can make Necrons feel pain
yeah that
How the fuck
And cripple marine and Custodes with pain

Space magic
The random guardsman seeing the soulless quiet Necron they were just fighting suddenly collapse while screaming in agony:
Well I doubt that’s his concern at the moment tbh
Necrons even the lowly ones still have consciousness
If he’s in a firefight with Drukhari and Necrons
It's just that for them to fully function like an individual they need really high quality bodies
and warriors are only adequate at nothing else than keeping the consciousness there but not letting it be you know expressive
Deldar weapons activate the necron subject's dysphorakh thus giving them pain
my headcanon
They actually just stab your balls
So they're still conscious, just unable to interact with the world
or control themselves
The pain is stored in the balls you see
I think my headcanon is better
well that is horrifying

honestly just thought their consciousness was sleeping or smth
even the Necron nobles don't want to think about it and often dismiss the idea
Rubric marines are the same, slightly aware but confused
Because Grimdark
yeah i saw an excerpt, the worst part is that it kinda reads like somebody undergoing dementia
which is fucked up
they became the lockers to be shoved into
Returned to their natural state of being
Play Jimmy Buffet Come Monday
Indeed
It is so cold... Why do I have to wake up...
Hmmm misery.
ohhh the miseryyyy
Indeed.
Will miss lore chat shenanigans (not that I don't have Discord on my phone but obviously miss the convos we have here lol)
Well, my own fault for working for a US company 😅
Does space dwarf exist? Brock hasn't gotten clear answer.
yes they do
he he he they look like tiny space marine.
My existence is 4 days a week in. Very lame
they even have bolters the cheeky runts
They jacked up parking costs too so i cant even ride my bike in unless i want to hemmorhage money
That's an excellent model
Holy shit new space marine mini
Woah
No wait my mistake the mini looks too good
that's funny i will admit but some somewhere i heard someone die
Looks like a lost Blood Angel Marine for…reasons
(Given it was IF that found Necromunda)
Astartes scale bolt weapons in Necromunda is gonna be funni
Yeah this guy is 100% a marine lol
I remember him from one of the codex illustrations
yeah a gene seed is the finest source of creatine in the 40k verse
Feel like an IF wouldn't make much sense as a Bounty Hunter, but as a Hanger On, that I'd like to see
A bounty hunter is anyone that just wants to kill people for money
It doesn’t really like
Have a limit
Wait hang on this guy was in a Codex art?
Necromunda rules book she probably meant
Ah ok
Vandoth the Fallen is a giant mask covered man, who is bound in layers of crimson muscle and his exploits on Necromunda, have made him a figure of legend on the Hive World.[1]
Stories are told of his ability to crush a man's skull with one hand and turn aside blades with his hardened skin. Most disturbing of all, though, are the tales of Vando...
@storm jungle is he Holding a Las-lock
Yep.
Necromunda: The Book of Ruin, pg. 117 - Uprising Campaign Events
Not sure
Also tempted to have this guy as an Eversor stand in for my Inquisitor…
(Even if not fluffing it up as an actual Marine I could say the Inquisitor experimented/found/hired him…)
IIRC they do have archeotech las weapons, so even if not exactly called Las Locks could be that kind of weapon.
including heavy blasters and venom casters – though they are not above scavenging autoguns and stub guns from their prey. This Weapons and Upgrades set contains cosmetic upgrades and gear for your gang.*
Think it's meant to be a Venom Casters
A shit ton of Munda models come from codex illustrations of misc characters, its one of the best part of the setting compared to mainline 40k models
Temptation to use as Eversor stand in increased lol
i see could totally see them
Running las-locks though
After all they are in the wasteland it is better than nothing
do you mean this or is there more art of him besides
Yeah thats him, obviously a lot more subdued lol
Vandoth the Fallen
Has to be a former DA marine. 40k isn't exactly subtle with names
imagine a Sump so disgusting it has its own spirit
necromunda go crazy
Die

do Blood Angels get younger or more Youthful through drinking blood
funny how blood angels keep forgetting their own in underhives
don't think so, at least in general
it's him...
The oldest guy they have has been actively avoiding the stuff (Dante), so seems not
Chapter Master Dante abstained from drinking blood for centuries, and he eventually developed wrinkled skin and white hair like on old man and likewise felt psychologically worn out. When Baal was attacked by Tyranids in 999.M41, Dante was too emotionally and physically exhausted to lead the defence, but then he drank the blood of one of his servants, killing the servant in the process, and he was rejuvenated both physically and mentally.
-Lex
it seems it does keep them rejuvenated at least

So that's probably the reason that guy lives for so long
oh yeah now that you meantioned it I remember that scene from Devastation of Baal
but space marines in general live really long so I wouldn't put that as the thing that allows him to live so long, if something it might be a hinderance that he needs it to stay fit compared to other chapter's marines
that's true
But he did make it to this age without blood, at least for a significant amount of time. Though how much of that is raw skill, who knows. Seems they don't need it.
Maybe it's just like a good cup of coffee in the morning. I don't look too great without caffiene either
Blood angels should stop being such babies and just eat people
Noone would do anything

Will say
I may get him and convert him into a fallen
Cause he’s got some fantastic vibes
You're saying people can be rashuns too?
Wtf
April Fool's joke? The Leagues of Votann don't do jokes! Or probably April for that matter…

The april fools one is so goated though
Unironically wish they'd do more stuff like this
That necro model is cookin

Where does he get new full size bolter ammo
Oh I'm sure Necromunda has it's sources
Necromunda is famed for it's factories
and weapons
Hey they finally did Vandoth
Now Dilara can enjoy one Space Marine model without shitting on it, nice to see
Maybe he puts a robe on and pretends to be from the munitorum
Hi yes I am Clerk Biggus and I'm here to pick up the bolt ammo shipment
I do wonder how he got separated from his Chapter
Maybe a massive fall down hive from mid or top levels…
Catstartes.
Palicortes.
Palastartes.
Astartico.
You get the idea.

saw this and thought some here might get a kick out of it
“Today we speak of Brother Vandoth, and why we have the buddy system.”
why are inferno pistols blood angels specific
i thought melta tech wasn't hard to figure out
Probably they're the only ones with librarian dreadnoughts, sharing is lame
that's weird
i didn't know that
every founding chapter needs its quirks
They’re not specific but they have the most
And probably because it fits their style best
But it’s not a unique weapon to them
They just have more than most chapters
is there a reason why astra militarum doesnt have any
They probably do they’d they’d just be rare
They’re rare for space marines
It’s like asking why they don’t have grav pistols
There’s probably some rare examples but it’s not gonna be common
And marines benefit from infernus pistols a lot more
it's just melta though
It’s a miniaturized melta
like there's no lore reason for plasma pistols to be more common
For whatever reason that’s harder to do
It’s worth noting it doesn’t lack any of the actually effect of a normal melta
It’s just shorter range
This is probably the only pistol type weapon that is like harder to make than the base weapon in the imperium
what about hand flamers
Hand flamers are more a SoB weapon
But once again there’s no reason a guard dude couldn’t use one, it’s not as uncommon
The only reason i can see why miniaturizing a melta is very much harder than normal is because making the reaction required for a melta to fire is a lot harder on a smaller thing
they're much less common than flamers and heavy flamers which the imperium pumps out by the billions
There's still not that hard really to make it's just that
Because most people don’t need a pistol flamer
Why would you use a hand flammer when you can get an actual real flammer
I just went into my speech class and my teacher is playing Rick Astley's never gonna give you up
I am in agony
melee
Yeah but like you can also use a pistol in that department to be even more effective in range
Guard don’t melee the same way as everyone else
Yeah they don't have specialized melee squads
SoB and Marines are much more effective at it
They do
But it’s still not as prevalent
im trying to think of a melee non ogryn guard unit
You mean like completely using only melee weapons and charging at the enemy?
Because besides ogryns i don't think they have one
well every lasgun is a stick with a bayonet i guess
Well at least that's a good thing
But i don't think the survival rates for these guys would be very very high
is this some long forgotten tabletop unit
And then they die via gunfire

guard fighting an ork with regular swords is ballsy as hell
Honestly I fw this ngl
alright well at least they get chainswords
so he can stab himself before the enemy does
Then there’s regiments like the Brontian Longknives
so these are the melee dudes we fight from the 6th
melee dudes are just heretic guard units
you can see them in the blooded kill team
Catachan vs Brontian doing a Knife Measuring contest

"Oi my knoife is longer than yours"
"PFFT. You call that a knife? You couldn't even slay a Devil with that. Now this is a knife!"
Krieger in the corner
"Don't worry, Bayonetta. You're just as good as them."
"...yes we will stab heretics in the throat soon. All for the Emperor's forgiveness."
About to block bell of lost souls from everything their articles are so trash
Is it a meme? Are people just calling him a space marine for fun?
Don’t show space marine fans a Goliath
The warhammer Reddit makes me wanna tear my hair out
Hes a space marine
he has a blood angel dagger
He’s a space marine
but very much like uh, a genetic reject
Wiay relaly?
^
He had the generic SM profile
Oh
In necromunda on launch
Hes an mini made from an illustration character from an earlier codex
Unquenchable thirst for blood, long canine fangs, blood angels dagger
Sowwwyyyyyyy
He’s weird
He’s also like
On his own
His whole thing is he brutally murders and exanguinates heretics lol
I might have gotten him mixed up with the uh, cawdor guy
Pseudo SM
Well
His new mini is pretty much confirming him as one
He’s got a BA knife sheeth
His art and old stat line + lore was a lot more ambiguous
my apologizes guys
Yeah this has a lot more details
Tbh he’s cool
Your execution is tomorrow
Damn
He’s just part of the necromunda ecosystem

Lmao
sentenced to 30 years fanon mines
And by eco system I mean he murders people in the underhive for money
Well “money”
He takes his payment in dead bodies and blood
Tbh I thought he was just demon possessed or something
Bye bye Maggie's fingers
Yeha I saw that and thought the was just roid raging
Much more ambiguous
His new design is also cool
But it does just confirm what he is which
Sort of ruins the mystery
Yeah
But it’s funny that he’s just running around murdering stuff
Well now that we have space marines in necromudna maybe people will be okay a xenos gang :3
his old design also like
makes him look deffo like a generic Cawdor
Yeee
Well he’s a space marine bounty hunter
To be fair, SM started out as more sophisticated barbarian berserks. So this guy is just going back to its root.
A xenos bounty hunter would be cool
But a full gang is weird
I don’t want a gang of marines
That’s lame
Well I guess gsc exist
But they don’t count imo
Yeha I wouldn’t want a gang of xenos either besides gsc
But using a xenos KT as a peoxy should be fine
For the uhhhhhh
I forgot what the Bounty Hunter gang was called
VENATORS
Tbh he’s not even the weirdest bounty hunter
Isn't there something about fish aliens deep in the ground, I forget
In munda lol
Yeah
Giant fish squid aliens
squids or fish
I remember I made a list based off the eldar corsairs kt and some guys were really bitchy and rude about it
Too bad, eldritch monstrosity time
Yeah they are the head of Delaque
the house name is literally their species name
PEAK CINEMA
I need to read the delaque book I’ve fallen in love with their models
Ngl
their book is extremely good
Delaque does not intrest me
shut up
LOL
All I could remember was pisces, but they're apparently called pisceans
wildass servitors
‘servator’
warhammer remains peak
i dont see any weakspots at all
LMAO
CINEMA.
definitely not the exposed brain
Okay man wearing helmet with exposed face
also they arent combat units
they fucking work in a underhive
lmao
it's a hat!
I wish the water guys were allied with delaque instead of the uhhh
Kind of a flex to have an exposed brain
They’re unaligned
Delaque's quatic theme is more of a cthulu nod
the water guild works for anyone that has that liquid
They ahve preferences, ie cawdor have better relationship with the promethium guild
You get to reroll all their relationship rolls
homeless people moment
Water guild does
I forgor
do they send the water gestapo if you find a bottle of H20
And delaque has iron guild
Making drugs needs water
No
They just forcibly suck the water out of your body
If you don’t make payments
sounds hot
LMAO
I read about this one, apparently like all the nobles are in delaque’s pocket
Yeah Delaque has like
their fingers in everything
Probably not just Delaque's
they are the espionage House
The nobles loves them
Are Delaque the weird worm god ones
Ye
Yeah but delaque completely controls the gun making guild
but also remember their only allegiance is to themselves
everyone is a means to an end
even their high ranking to lowest ranking members lol
since they essentially serve jellyfish cthulu
Lore accuracy mfers when you look at the goofy shit on Necromunda
I love all of orlock’s alliances are to tax men and shit
"Goofy cosmetic" mfers when this man walks in
also yeah out of everyone Orlock are like
the most "normal" lol
literally just industrial bikers
What's that robo worm again
Which one
the snake coming out his helmet?
Psychoteric Wyrms are strange House Delaque creatures, that accompany the House's Psy-Gheist Psykers[1]
Psychoteric Wyrms are disturbing creations born of dark technology and alien biology. No one save House Delaque know for sure how they are created or what gives them the semblance of life they possess, but the few examples captured by other ga...
ah here we go
You know for a while I thought the hand was just
Attached
To let them open doors and shit

pretty sure thats an orlock hand too
I'll never forgive bugs for letting crane flies exist
It’s peak
why? they are uber friendly and kill mosquitos
they've harrassed me since I was a child with their erratic and weird movements
they'd also mass invade my room
and there weren't even any mosquitos where I lived what was the point
speaking of fish people, I forgot about the Barghesi. Look at this goofy fish feller
those arent Barghesi
every alien on that image is a random one made up for the artwork
Miguel confirmed it awhile back, 40k Community Moment
zamn I was lied to

It's still goofy, got a permanent gamer posture
no
let random aliens be random aliens
stop small'ifying my artwork!!!!
Die
AAA-
maybe just one piece
If anyone can confirm this…are the current Sister of Battle Boltgun bit bigger than the current Deathwatch Boltgun bit?
Aren't they smaller?
Actually, I don't know or it doesn't matter because bolters come from different patterns.
As far as ik the sororitas and the guard generally use the same pattern of bolters that have been scaled down and adjusted for regular human use. Astartes grade bolters are huge and a normal human would likely get their arm torn off from the sheer recoil if they tried to use one
The model bits?
Dune moment
ofc knowing 40k i image the guild doesnt kill the person before they start to harvest
Well
Neither they don’t kill you always
They want their money back + the water
If you can just pay them back it’s fine, if you can’t then they’ll suck water out till they get it back + some interest
ive seen another piece of media do it way better and in morbidly funnier fashion

omg i was 1 old when this came out
LOL fun as hell movie
damn they cut the part where Mcdowell just rips it out and drinks it straight away
still though yeah basically what the Water Guild does
Yes thanks
i need to make more xenos tbh
it's such a cool zone
They don't actually eat mosquitoes.
But bugs like dragonflies and damselflies do
Oh neat
It would be really cool to see a story about a Gue'vesa Psyker
they'd get murdered by other tau
me with this chat for real
The T'au have a psychic auxiliary race already i don't think they have a problem with people being psykers
they have a problem with tau being psykers
ethereals want full control of every single tau
Jay cant read....
alright well guess it's lasgun to the mouth time of the week again for me
same
not me, I'm always cool

crazy how none of the xenos KTs that are just a sprue combined with a preexisting kits got rules but all the imperium and space marine ones did
seems like this edition they arent doing that naymore tho
oh the phobos one
never mind
GW realised if they did too many unique things it would, ironically, upset the balance of big 40k…so nowadays they know to take that into account I think.
Real dumb they didn't even make special rules for the Hand of the Archon team considering how small the Drukhari roster is
I WAS BAOUT TO SAY THAT
Hand of the archon is so weird
but it lines up
with none of the other upgrade sprue teams
getting rules
And meanwhile Night Lords get their own little squad lol
It’s like none of the other legions existed…
Its so weird lol
it doesn't matter at the end of the day
imo
They kind of just do whatever they want with killteam
the legionaries one was pretty revolutionary to how they play last i hard
and I like that
Legionaries one is like
Iconic
its one of the 3 iconic teams in terms of defining an entire archetypes playstyle
imo
Kommandos, Legionaries and Vet Guard
giving your basic infantry psykers for main game
oh on like 40k?
balefire tome is like
very w/e
it was decent in 9e but very pricy upgrade
ag
ah*
i swera to god there was more killteams
i think my brain just got rotted by the 5+ guard/guard equivelants
I mean
the teams are all diverse
gameplay wise imo
there's 33 killteams lol
sorry 36 apparently
wtf
I think that is if you include the not buffed generic ones
For legacy models and such
…they reached 36 honest number? Impressive, admittedly.
this isn't KT2e anymore
RT repacked into Agents most likely
Gellerpox…either with Nurgle forces or getting the hammer.
what factions havent even gotten a KT yet?
Custodes, nids, GK, World Eaters, Daemons(unless you count gellarpox)
oh also deathwatch
Wait hang on no GSC in 3E yet?
Ah ok nids-nids don’t have KT, yea.
i will never not be pissed at gw for that
Just ignore the table top gaming and collect them anyways.
Please your inner self.
Like I will be doing with Agents.
