High Titan Relgan

Relgan is the first and eldest dreadnought in the verdant guard, originally being a space marine during the times before the heresy. Now, he is bound to his tomb of wood, plants and metals.

Compared to other dreadnoughts, he is awake more often and maintains most of his mind. If you ask him, he claims he has kept his mind and humanity intact through meditation within the ship gardens, speaking with new recruits and being allowed to engage in conversation with humans when they stop on planets to refuel.

Relgan has a kind hearted fondness for the children of the imperium, often hunkering down when they visit a planet, letting the children use his dreadnought frame as a place to play, giving them wisdom and answering their likely many many questions.

Maybe someone higher up the chain has provided the authority and your Inquisitor is the closest one as well and he's carrying out something very urgent
