In Ultrakill, a lot of things in Hell don't have eyes.

In fact, Virtues are noted to usually have eyes, but those that guard Hell don't have them for whatever reason.

My personal theory is that due to the fact that eyes are commonly known as windows to the soul. Everything in Hell is damned some way or another. Therefore, they don't need a "window". They are forever damned.

The only ones that have eyes are

• King Minos. Who was known in Ultrakill for being virtuous and even made a city in Lust. His gigantic body's eyes acting as the light of doom to many. Soul form is notably faceless.

• Sisyphus, who rebelled against Hell. His dead body had his eyes forcefully torn out. However, his soul form actually has the outline of eyes.

• The Machines, who are made by man. And are also still "alive".
