I need more beer after that comment
ngl, I expected no less from this corner of the internet
It is the warhammer fandom
Otherwise though pretty cool boxset, its older than most of the people here i think lmao
Necron warrior and Blood Angel brother shall be witness
And whatever the fuck this is
It’s wild looking back on the old rogue traders stuff and at how much it was established so early on that’s still around
A lot has changed too obviously, but there’s a lot of stuff that was there from the very start
Ah yes chaos android my beloved
Yeah this stuff is great and didnt age badly much at all which is even funnier.
the bayonet bolters my beloved
the stupid goofy ahh tyranid borders at the top are so good
Show that to Google Lense translator if you want to cringe your ass off
Are the translations really bad? Or is it just cringy lol
Both tbh
I wonder how many of those were even made for Finland
The worst part of translation is how many in-universe terms they try to translate or fuck up
Pieces of a space hulk
Man for cardboard it’s held up well
I still cant get over how parents really do dump this shit in the garbage
or like throw away entire massive miniature armies of some warhammer people, its insane lol
some of the models are FUBAR and our parents not the ones to blame 😅
Heh….
It is what it is
It’s just easier to happen with pieces of cardboard
Rather then plastic
aight, I need to put this away. It's 3am local time. Was a nice little drunken nostalgia trip. maybe I'll post more pics later. now --->
My Sister in Faith, I'm 39.
I'm the dumpster god
bow to me!
Im 31 ill get there... one day

while ur at it, let's play Darktide sometime
how old is the warhammer ip?
Whfb is from 1983 40K is from 1987
Made in the 80s yeah
i want to go back in time and kill john warhammer
archeotech
So in my one shot, one of the players is a acolyte secretly working for a minor ordo xenos interrogator, the rest of the party is at least supposed to be trying to return a piece of xenotech to the mechanicus, for due to their emminent domain. And the acolyte is supposed to be investigating the party, local tech priests, and sector of hive for xenoheresy and cold trade. But what im stumped on is what type of interrogator his boss should be, should he be puritan, trying to discover and/or remove any party members sympathetic to xenos or the cold trade? (You will have the option to return the xenotech to its respective species) or is he trying to obtain it for himself? To return it to the xenos as a token for further dealings? What makes a better revealed dynamic when the truth comes out about the acolyte?
https://youtu.be/OOQkArHLhQo?si=Gvjj8uZBZ2eTVQMu
the imperium should invest into these
The Overseer Music Box extended.
y'all have that content creator taht people like and isnt bad butyou just hate for no reason
Warhammer*
I have one and I just can’t stand his content lol
I think these are awesome ideas
I would say take what you think is best for the story first, with heavy consideration for how the player would imagine the boss to be second
I personally really like the reveal idea of him trying to steal the xenotech for his own purposes
like as in ask the player? Cause they dont really know anything about 40k
OH well nm then
I think in that case a selfish boss would absolutely help solidify how much the Inquisition sucks for them
Do you think they should know about this second component of this mission prior or learn of it partway through
also the xenotech is literally just a fire dragon fusion gun and aspect armor, with a soul stone in it
is that something the inquisition would really go through all the work of sending an acolyte to steal it?
I'm sure any one particular Inquisition member could and would do that
Whether it's innately valuable to the inquisitor doesn't matter if it's very important to the xenos, and if the xenos in addition also have something that DOES matter to that inquisitor
Take that with a grain of salt on whether chain of command allows that to be possible since I don't know about all that
But motivations to do such a thing certainly can be there and even be plentiful if made to be so
I just cant really think of any
anyone got any ideas
Something about Weshammer does it for me
He’s just the unironically worst warhammer lore tubers
Well there is arch
Yo lore chat
Hell I'd ask witchfinder if she was around
Anyway Salvar Chems dogs kill a commissar with the name of Gezemel Von Zek
can someone find me the name of the book?
Welll, who are the big players in this story?
Not like your players but the different important characters and what they want
Maybe what do the xenos who the artifact belongs to have?
if they made power armour wud yall wear it
So basically, the major players are Technoarcheologist Durix Roth-22, who sets the party on a mission to investigate the disappearance of a tech adept carrying an "important package" (xenotech), and wants it back to study it for how xenos technology may be harnessed for humanity, The cold trader "Scrimshaw" who has stolen said piece of xenotech in order to sell it to the highest bidder, the unnamed Aeldari ranger, who is an ex-fire dragon after her entire shrine was killed in an imperial raid, and has taken the path of the outcast to track down and recover their spirit stones, and to a lesser extent, their gear. And then finally, the Ordo Xenos interrogator Erasmus Fawrin who I've previously discussed and havent really decided what I want them to be yet
All factions will try to kill the party if they dont align with their goals, besides maybe the inquisition, because im not sure if I want to encourage pvp yet, even in a twist at the end. You can return the spirit stone to the ranger when she confronts you, but if you do (unless you convince them there was never a spirit stone with the armor) the mechanicus will send a small killclade to recover the asset and also your heads, which may be escaped if the acolyte calls for extraction from the inquisition. And The ranger will obviously try to kill the party if they refuse or double cross her. And Scrimshaw cant really be allied with because he doesnt really have any reason to, and will try to kill you regardless to tie up loose ends, especially if you uncover his identity
@storm jungle literally suggested that short story a few days ago
It’s a book I think, Shadowsword
Although I wouldn’t be shocked if there’s multiple stories of Salvar Chem dogs mercing their commissar
Might be in the Wicked and the Damned anthology too
The Beast in the Trenches I believe
@shell mason
Its a Short Story
just came out like a month ago
Probably Luetin for me, guy is not bad but just has such a pretentious vibe.
You know its up there when people praise his content for being easy to fall asleep too lol
Bricky and MajorKill have always seem weird to me
MajorKill
i don't need to elaborate
Majorkill deffo got his boat rocked after some of the shit he did earlier on
Bricky is deffo braindead tier tho
Yeah but at least he doesn't act pretentious and at the end of the day he's not the worst his content is just brain dead
Wes is also not that bad
Yeah i like brick's non-40k content a lot
His lore is pretty basic
his SM2 review is one of my favs
prob one of the only big internet people I know who actually went "this game is kinda eh"
yeah i like them as well
His warhammer content is pretty bottom of the barrel I will agree
But right now he is definitely slowed down enough that I don't even really consider him a warhammer YouTube
Yeah and i dont really care if they say its suppose to be that way, newcomers still watch his content and get ill-informed on stuff and its annoying to deal with
yep a good warhammer loretuber is able to explain the lore without misinforming everyone
yeah its why Ian is my all-time favorite
i also like Pancreas for that because he does this but when he's not sure he lets people know and he makes it pretty fun
Pancreas is really goated yeah
helps that he also basically likes every faction and also actively shit-talks the Imperium while still making content for them its great

Likes every faction you say to the guy that has an elf addiction
Kinda.
I love the fact that he also acknowledges that elves can be hilariously ******* stupid as well
He very much targets the Imperium the most as its deserved
World Eaters are on the top of the list tho understandably so
I mean yeah
yeah like i like the imperium i think they can be cool but like
Some people glaze the imperium too much
Yeah thats the stance he holds which i agree with
its also funny to open a vid and hear him say shit like
"Okay I shat on the Imperium enough lemme glaze em a bit since they can be cool"
lmao
90% of the reason I hate the the Imperium is space marine slop
so i guess it comes and goes
My favorites videos of his are do or don'ts
Because it gets the faction across while being surprisingly beginner friendly
yeah also you dont often see someone list the bad lore/tabletop side of a faction too much
Yeah he knows that someone might want to play the faction in tabletop so he may as well bring in that info as well
thats how you corrupt an individual's wallet, its good business
Play world eaters
that is true
Because you can do it with a lobotomy
Same with custodes
Actually custodes you could actually play lobotomized
Army is
More lobotomized than their fanbase?
This one you just need to head butt the wall ten times and you're good
Idk
Do you
boring
Boring ah play style
playing doctor mundo is probably more fun then playing custodes
🍮
how to efficiently drink nuln oil
I like semi elite nonsense
so you like gloom spite as well?
No
i see
Gloomspite are shit on average
They aren’t semi elite they’re mostly chaff with some good stuff
Does that mean that you like cities then in a tabletop format
that is true hmm
Fyreslayers are obviously out because well they are mainly an hard hitting melee army
I have my preference in how things play
You aren’t going to convince me
To try something different
I'm not trying to convince you I'm trying to find out what type of army you play
Oh
i'm guessing alright
Semi elite. High mobility, decent durability
i'm not some tabletop **** that's gonna tell you how to play your own army
you bought it that's yours not mine
hmm
the destruction factions definitely don't have this type of deal
yeah but they're not really fast you know
unless you're running boar cavalry
Mhm
hmm seraphon are elite that have good magical game and a lot of monsters
stormcast are a Jack of all trades
daughters of khaine are
yeah aggressive glass cannons
what about Khadron
They seem like high mobility
and they do have warships
Khadron are too slow without boats
hmm i see
Also no auto advance shenanigans
lumineth are definitely magic spammers
Night haunt is neat but too squishy
I like ossriarchs for death
But they’re slow
Too slow
vampires are
a maybe
Because the ghouls that think that they are high society people are definitely out
ok to chaos then
the beastmen are out
skaven are definitely too squishy and reliant on their more expensive stuff
maggotkin can eat damage but i can probably outrun them with a broken leg
so my chaos guest is gonna go to blades of khorne
It sounds like you have no faction that you can preferably play in AOS I'm gonna be honest
because tzeentch and slannesh are definitely out
yeah but you already said that yeah
Yeah
But like that's the only one
So I was trying to guess if you have other ones that you can play on other factions
but gameplay wise you go with the literal wood elves yeah
is it true that starcraft was suppose to be a 40k game or is this another one of those fandom lies
Warcraft was
Warcraft 1 was supposed to be warhammer. StarCraft unrelated but def inspired by 40K
For fantasy
I have 0 clue where the StarCraft thing came from
Also the Zerg=Tyranid is Zerg 1st
probably because of the aesthetic similarities
Tyranids came before
Pre Zerg Tyranid were way different
They probably saw, super soldiers with heavy armor and aliens that are apparently better than everyone else and thought eldar and marines
that would have been awsome
Looks like something that the gang in Futurama will fight in order to like reset the time stream
Use the 2e ones
Not the rogue trader ones
2e nids was before Zerg
a lot of scifi bug design kinda blends together and they all look the same, its why i find nids boring
The 2e ones were
Fine
For the time
They still changed quite a lot after Starcraft came out
whats the other funny old nid sculp people were meming about
Well yeah
But it’s intresting to see the 2e ones
Imo
Not the RT ones
The RT ones are like ugly as shit
i like the color scheme of this tbh
i can see it look good on a modern nid
The Tyranid Warriors here look uh
The 2e ones are pre StarCraft 1
It’s a weird choice to use the RT ones over them
I just picked those I saw 1st
it almost looks like its wearing clown atire
Always thought that maybe the 2E color schemes should've been there for that one Hive Fleet that eats Daemons
so it basically went, tyranids were first than zerg but new nids decided to adopt more zerg like traits for the future
Like they had to radically change themselves so that they could be able to eat warp stuff
3e nids are the modern tyranid design langusge
When was third edition warhammer released again
3e Tyranids look cool
Although some of the gun placements just make me imagine them pelvic thrusting while shooting

those guns straight up look like gauss rifles
1993
Ended 1998
Nid stuff was 1995
Yeah so they definitely got the design formula down but decided to steal a few more things from the zerg to even it out
as is tradition
Broodlord?
nah its from the same era as the pics previously
That funny image aside.
After a bit of research, I think the more red color scheme is used for Hive Fleet Kronos
Yeah idfk then
Behemoth is Red and blue
Not exactly the same tho
the screamer killer
That looks so fucking stupid
yeah but he had to glow up now
Current Screamerkiller is how I feel when popping off
Old Screamerkiller is how I feel when it's a 1v5
Also is it just me or does the old Screamerkiller look kinda like a robot
Especially with the legs
Also huh
nids barely look organic to begin with
Tbf it is a cool idea
Problem is that they just didn't execute it
Right
honestly nids just come across to me as crustacians more than bugs lol
It's the god damn CRABS
Nids also got a lot of dinosaur elements to them as said in old interviews
yeah they are a weird mixture of crustacean and insect and dinosaur like traits

link? i love seeing gw designer inteviews because of how rare they are
Its WAAAY in an older mid 2000's white dwarf article, i only know it because a super-nid fan friend of mine shared images from the pages, i gotta hunt it down at some point lol
but its why they got the legs they do along with so many other non-insect animal elements
oh sweet
they are just called "bugs" by people because they are the uh
Token Sci-fi Space Swarm Race
i mean sure thats fair
Dinobugs
Not even Starcraft really call them bugs. Most of the Zerg units don't even have bug like trait.
It's also why Tyranids attract children.
I mean like
They're insect dinosaurs
They still call em bugs
That's fucking cool
Guardsmen be like
I read this first sentence, and this first sentence only, and I think I got whiplash
Bruh
Yes, the fanbase likes to call them bug, but they are rarely called so in the stories.
that's the thing with laati
read the entire sentence
when he is speaking
Good advice
Like how in the 40K lore, it is "Eldar" and not "Elf"...
Idk how else to word it though
Even though we all know that Eldar is just Elf
tyranids are popular to children
there
"That's why Kids think Tyranids are cool"
like
It’s why children like nids so much
yeah
I swear to God why do I word things wrong

grah

unfortunately Laati-Tan has about as much mental faculty as a cave squig
i'm gonna be honest a cave squig is probably smarter
i dont know the context to this feud so im just gonna agree with the first person to complain
i mean am i wrong
But thats not really the same thing
they are elves
its true you know
bulgur said so
Yeah nids in comparison arent really bugs
ironically Laatin calling them crab-dinosaurs is more accurate
Nah I'm like an Eldar Farseer.
I am so big brained that I forget what's in front of me
...and then die to the helmetless protagonist
Yeah eldar are literally space elves
Lol
Not really whfb elves though
Way too insular and isolationist
Also they literally worship khaine
yes i think the tyranids that really exemplify bug like traits are like
the biovore and pyrovore
CARCINIZATION IS THE FATE OF ALL.
Im not enough of a biologist to really get into it btu yeah
The big gun reminds me of like
A scorpion tail
Curled upwards
its a penis
Also bugs dont have spines do they
they don't
Yeah because Nids got both
Don’t try to assign them to an irl type of animal
Nah fleshlight
a tail means they got a spine
they have an exoskeleton
They’re fucked up
Exo skeleton, armor on top of it, normal flesh, musculature is weird
Have internal bone structure
Lol
Just imagining a Magos being extremely confused while studying them
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY HAVE SPINES?"
Tyranids are Tyranids
I thought it was just the shell

they also form bones into swords
Man, everything do indeed evolve to either crab or turtle...
there was an inteview with gav thorpe that explains all of this
i mean yeah
Every tyrannid weapon is an Organism
Imagine some crazy mf keeping it as a pet
Well
"""pet"""
Yeah but most are parasitic
The bonesword stays alive without its host
I know for one of the big gun nids the gun is smarter then the nid
Lol
could be an interesting story to write if the nids has personality
FOUND IT
Imagine coming into existence knowing that your only purpose is to shoot acidic compounds towards your foes
Also apparently it was Jes Goodwin himself saying it
and im mistaken it wasnt from the mid 2000's
its literally from 10th edition launch lol
yeah but how would you give personality to a swarm hive mind
yeah because like remember they literally absorb any genetic material they can get
Tbf
Yeah they kinda are
Makes sense given their adaptive nature
so like it's not surprising
Damn this literally goes into everything
They are like literally a mixture of like amazing traits on multiple organisms to make one
wasnt aware white dwarf had much beyond ads and deodarant tanks
Imagine their personality being the equivalent of just
A toxic gamer
Bro has done so much
They go into a lot of things sometimes and other times its just fodder slop
For 40K’s art direction
He invented the identity of every single faction in the game yeah
guy is a legend
shit
i see it as well
bare minimum they have at least six limbs
unless they are like a specific form designed to use something
They lose some Biomass
Immediately begins raging
Neat
HOLY SHIT
Jokes aside he’s done a lot before he retired
To quote Mr Plinkett
you might not have noticed it
but your brain did
i remember a jess godwin interview where he said he named the chaos dwarves god after a sneeze pun
Hashut moment
Hashut
Tzeentch's name is literally "it sounded like something you'd say shooting a spell"
lmao
The Nautiloid is probably my favorite design out of the Tyranids ngl
I thought it's because it kinda sounded similar to "Snitch"
And Tzeentch is the God of lies and trickery.
Oh also the forbidden Jes Goodwin marine sketch
Of the armor type bigger then centurion

show me
shit
Artists in general basically shoot random shit towards a target and hope it looks cool
He seems to like it though lol
Sometimes it does
Also before I forget
Sometimes it doesn't
full interview for Nids with Goodwin for anyone that wants to read it
pin that shit

i don't wanna lose it
Nah its not too needed its fine
BUT you can read it now
and be smart to anyone that goes "nuh uh"
Agreed this is pretty cool insight
sigh guess I'll be like the Emperor and abuse my son-
Download button
its a gem
I just like Nids having heat sinks
Y'know how like fast regeneration and shit is often depicted to produce heat
It's kinda like that
excuse me its CHIMNEYS
Chitimeys*
GETOU-
so scorpions have spines?
Bro dont ask me
my insectoid-esque animal knowledge is terrible i aint no biologist

The Tau have hooves too
😋
There’s like 4 different versions
Maybe it's kinda like how humanity used to have multiple species?
I mean they’re all fire/ethreal caste
i miss the old yellow color scheme of the tau, now there new mascot faction is white which is lame
I’m wondering if it’s just a race thing
think of it as like a modified organ
Tau were ochre akshully
🤓
GW has a tendency to change up the poster child of the factions every now and again
Yeah the switch to Vior’la sept is weird
GETOU-
Mustard yummy
I’m not even joking
like ultramarines have been SM poster for so long but there was a time that bangles were
They’re all fucking Vior’la
Almost every named tau character with a mini is Vior’la sept
There’s like 2 who aren’t
Well, depends on how the artist is feeling sometimes
I am now imagining a protractor in space marine armor
i have heard some call the crimson fists the OG posterboys of the SMs
They’re the original
It was crimson fists -> UM -> BA -> UM
they also like last stands
And they still show up a lot in art
it helps that they look so much like UM lol
They switched from red and blue to blue to red to blue
Craftworld Eldar went from Alatioc -> Beil’tan -> Saim Han
I just butchered the first craftworlds name
But I’m tired so idc
Wasn’t it black templars for a tiny bit
They were on the core rulebook but not the codex
Gn mates
If we count core rule book
Ah
Have a good day/night and all that
This is totally unbiased
Then it’s CF -> no one -> BT -> no one -> DA -> UM
But dark angels should defo be poster boys
Totally
Lol
also guys what do yall think of the new plastic krieg
no
i still dont like the new helms, but you can always change those
Neat, I don’t buy any but I’m happy for the people who like them
I like the plastic krieg over resin
Pretty cool. I was confused by no new basic infantry but it dawned on me the next day
Me when killteam
also the horse feet on the riders make me deeply uncomfortable
Tbf
i mean sure, but have you seen the krieg marshall model
Yeah
i only recently did
What about him
its gorgous
Mhm
Stab time
i actually notice it but i didn't bother with it
it is a bit weird but like it's a giant genetically altered horse made for the battlefields of warhammer
What else ya been hiding from us green man?
Official lanky marine jump scare
still better than the one in call of duty
GA-
the dawn of war 3 one was worse tbh
I mean it's a lot easier to notice on a death riders
It's a weird mixture of hooves and bird like claws
He’s fuckin blind
the horses look like bingus now
Dawn of war 3 marines were proportioned normally in art
They were way too fucking wide in some art though
I don’t think they changed much it’s just the talons are more splayed out
Iirc there’s art from the first images era which shows the claws being similar
The model just has them more in movement and moving over rougher terrain.
Its kinda changed
it just has 1 more extra hoove-claw thing
thats kind of it lol
literally unbuyable
what the fuck gw
Lol
With how I’ve seen people complain about some of these model updates I wouldn’t be shocked if someone’s actually complaining about that
“Omg Azrael’s magazine changed location, this ruins the model completely!”
Harkers left tit is too small
ive seen worse complaints about models
There’s been a couple lesser updates but man people get nitpicky
Especially with how easy so much of this stuff is to kitbash away if you really hate it
remember when the Krieg KT came out?
"OMG NO SHOVELS"
"OMG THEY GOT MEDALS"
Ugh
shut the fuck up
They had shovels
YEAH IN THE KIT AS TERRAIN
On the fucking backpacks
BUT LIKE
Lol
THEY LITERALLY DONT NOTICE IT
No they had them on the packs
Like the original minis
and literally changed the chainsword animation
to replace it with a shovel
because "huehue"
go fuck yourself
It was a shitpost
lmao
Yeah I know
Lol
Fucking shovel
god
💀
💀
Trench club sweeps
Im glad the units got trench clubs en-masse now
There was like five of these shitty memes on grimdank after the reveal
At least the comments mostly shit on the OP but still
The engineers have a breaching drill lol
like sure, it doenst matter, but it didnt need to happen
They don’t need a shovel
It feels like deliberate omission tbh which I’m not against, but it is funny.
speaking of that set, i love the screw vehicle
this
this is sad
There was worse ones too
It’s an adorable thing
Lol
I want to hug it
Typical Krieg fans...
its the Shagohod's little nephew
its based of irl tech too
Oh that’s sick
Yeah screw-tracks are super based
its surprisingly not well known lol
i only learned of it WAY back playing MGS3 i assumed it was made up for the game
based?
i just learn them from chronically browing online
thats how i found 40k, unfortunately
Man I love the propaganda posters in Darktide
i'd hate to see those things ride in a pavement irl
it'll make my ears bleed
Psychological weapon
Joakim Ericsson
Still need his concept arts for Carnival
Shame it’s not released yet
They are definitely on the way more minimalist side but I like em a lot
I love in universe propaganda
the outer worlds was very 40k pilled
And advertisements
@rose thorn Do you happen to have a lexicon of Dwarven runes from AoS (Specifically, have it for BF already)
ight then
I wonder which dev this is
😆👌
i assume Che Guevara decided to get cheeky and put himself in darktide
who would he be in darktide?
Do you still need it?
Runecraft, or Rune Magic, is a form of magic wherein the practitioner carves runes of power upon objects. The art is most associated with the Duardin of the Dispossessed and Fyreslayers.[1b][1c][2a][5a] But other forces of Order have been known to make use of the craft.[3a][4a]
Rune Lore is a type of prayer practiced by Dispossessed Runelords with which they they may imbue power upon the weapons and armour.[1]
Yes thank you, are they no images of the runes themselves ?
How much autonomy do interrogators have compared to inquisitors?
afaik it depends on the inquisitor they serve
Probably a long leash
Like they would have to be trusted to even become an Interrogator, but as always depend on the Inquisitor
some have their interrogators be highly autonomous while others keep them on a relatively short leash
an interrogator is effectively an inquisitor in training after all so they require a level of autonomy in order to prove themselves
One of my players is an acolyte working for an ordo xenos interrogator in the imperium nihilus and I’m trying to decide what this interrogators goals should be in relation to xenotech and xenos in general
Both in what would make for a more interesting hidden dynamic for the rest of the players, as they might not be working entirely for the same goals, and in what makes sense
Maybe he wants to take the xenotech for himself in order to use it as leverage to broker deals with the Aeldari later, along with finding out if the local Mechanicus members are xenarite, which he could use to either his benefit, or as blackmail material if they won’t work towards his goals or become problematic
You need all the “friends” you can get without imperial support
speaking of dwarves, i like in aos they are separated by the three facets of their society the dispossed being the old dwarves showing their love of tradition and worship of ancestors, the Fyreslayers showing their might as fighters and warriors, and finally Kharadron Overlords showing their technology and wonders it can accomplish
Also, what would this acolyte need to pose as a ex imperial navy officer who now works as a bodyguard
Old uniform
Do you think they would still wear it?
Maybe like an old medal?
Their uniform would probably be better quality than most civilian stuff
Would an acolyte be told the rationale of a interrogators objectives? Or would they just be told “confiscate any xenotech you see because I said so”
Case to case scenario 🤷
its a shame the veteran doesnt get the 2 handed powersword
like, does the vet even have any 2 handed weapons?
no all of their melee weapons can be handled one handed
From a lore standpoint I mean yeah that makes sense considering that they would probably be carrying heavy guns so they would have very light melee weapons
but from a gameplay standpoint
it is a bit sad
also another reason they probably want to be either light to reposition properly or like i said carry bigger ranged weapons
if were talking lore
there is no reason they cant use 2h weapons
you can say weight and all that
but if its cool enough i think that logic can be thrown out
Its not lore its just aesthetics
they also dont have 2h-weapons in tabletop
yeah that too
too medieval for the guard, smh
literally commissars which are like the biggest examples of veterans being cool
like only carry one handed weapons
Yeah they want to have like an arm free or something to shoot because their aim is the greatest weapon
yeah again as said above
its why sergeants/captains get em
it looks cool as they uhhh
idk point at shit

gah
its whatever
new weapons are always good
anyone got any images on the new ogryn stubber?
i dont see any images on it in the in game news section
i searched Commissar art and literally
😩
all of them carry a range weapon on their off hand while using some kind of one handed melee
It's quite literally built into the Astra militarum that if they're veterans or something and they want to use a melee weapon it needs to be light so that they can hold a range weapon
yeah its just a stylistic thing alas
Gorgeous
yes thank you
you're missing an E
so no worries you were very close
very exciting time to be a darktide fan
now that the crafting system is finally fixed
Im very jealous of people starting the game in this phase
they got EVERYTHING
we had NOTHING
i started back when the pickaxes were new
i was there when hadron was a MASSIVE prick
We were there
so i was right between the transitional phase of darktide
i miss the gunner buffs of that time
She was a bigger prick before?
Was it like Hallowette where Gamers got offended that an NPC would shit talk you?
no i mean in a crafting sense
Ahhhhj
I was there when you need to roll a perfect stat with brunt and also roll the perfect perks and blessings with Hadron
and let me tell you
every time i do that i get closer to worshipping Khorne
And only one of these almost went extinct <3
(It’s the boomer dwarves)
change is necessary and if you don't change the world will
"Skill Issue" #warhammer #40k #WarhammerCommunity #WarhammerArt #warhammerfanart
Very excited for their model line update this edition

oh the dispossesed gonna get some new things?
Tasty new gear
also I’m having a hard time focusing on the new stuff in Darktide cause the finals heroes in Marvel Rivals got revealed today

I'm playing Foxhole
Yes it was all but confirmed
They are getting a new line
In cities
Oh shit fr?
Replacing the old world models
tight tight
What's the sauce for this
Literally the only reason we know is because we were told that the old world models won’t be available for purchase for AOS lmao
Since I've heard chaos dwarfs but nothing about dispossessed
But they are keeping the model rules
Also a leak saying some shit
Like how cities dwarves are getting a model line update and a new war machine
I am quite excited because they did cook with the gitmobs
so i wanna see how they update this shit
I wouldn't take that as confirmation NGL, the elves all have their rules still
can you send me some websites you use for AOS because i need
get into it more besides books
The AOS old world models cords over models stayed
With the only exception being dwarves
Anyone mind helping me write a old crone telling the party about an old haunted hab block they have to go to? I can send what I got so far
shoot
hab block 09-HZ-51 was once a bustling hub of activity, with a reputation for allowing abhumans and minor mutants to camp outside of the block. Eventually the block was burned to the ground with its inhabitants inside after an enforcer purgation squad had found evidence of suspected chaos cult activity in the area, and ever since, the locals believe it to be haunted.
That’s it’s history, here’s the character explaining it
Also it would work thematically to have normal dwarves and chaos dwarves release the same edition
yes
“Oh that old place? Bad luck to talk about it they say…But at my age, there ain’t much left to spook me. Let me tell you the story, folks don’t often wanna hear what I’ve got to say.”
“That hab was as packed as any other one, until the enforcers decided they were too friendly of mutants. I heard they even let ‘em sleep outside it sometimes! So the enforcers block it off and torch it with everyone inside. Serves em’ right if you ask me, nothing good comes from gettin’ buddy buddy with mutants. But anyways, now people who go around there say there’s strange things happening, hearing voices, machines acting weird, so we just keep our distance.”
“If you’re heading that way, just keep your wits about ya, a few greenhorns went digging around there not long ago, looking for treasure, and one of those fools had a door slam shut and squish him flat, just like that!”
Warhammer.com store page shows zero dwarves on the cities page, we saw something similar happen when a model like got updated before
i see
that's pretty good
Oh hey
Ie harbinger of decay
hey wolf quick question
can you make ur-gold?
or is it like a material that can only be found
No
It’s specifically the shard of two gods that murdered each other
Is it at least naturally occurring?
yeah by Grimnir and Vulcatrix
Ye
hmm i see then
They use to merc core for it
what about Aether-gold
That’s the breath of grungi
the ones the sky stunties use
The literal breath of him
lovely
so the other one quite literally exemplifies their god of war
the other one the god of creation and technology
I guess yeah
I thought it was like at least a unique form of chamonite realmstone or something
but yeah one of the suggested theories was apparently it was a mixture of metal dust shed from his hammer and his literal breath
No thats chamonite
Oh my bad
I was reading trh realmstone lex
Most commonly referred as Chamonite, but also know to have other names like Wyrdgold, Transmutational Gold or Changestone, is the Realmstone of Chamon.[1][2a]
yeah so like apparently it seems to be a another form of chamonite
Realmstone, or Cursestone are concentrations of raw magic, a disparate collection of substances that can be found in the Mortal Realms. It is the most sought-after resource in the Realms, it is of such value that a rich seam might start battles or call the attention of the gods.[1][6a]
They are nothing like though
yeah but it's considered a type of realm stone so
i don't ******* know
I don’t think aether gold is actually considered a realm stone
Since realm stone is supposed to be the purest form of the realm
hey i'm just following what the lex says
and you can create artificial realmstone
Oh?
Whats thr 10a source?
Oh soulblunr
Soulbound
Cool
That would make a cool city fo sigmar concept
A city in ulgu that creates false realmstone
But there’s so much fake realmstone that counterfeit or low quality realm stone it’s mixed in with the real realmstone

Hi
that's a good one
get used to it
predicting his brain is like predicting where the bullet of a shoota will land
it's borderline impossible
no doubt
Are MIUs just wired or can you interface with machine spirits by having one and using the noosphere?
Yes
should have given it to the kickback
Yeah its basically like a cyberpunk netrunner thing
wait what
Cool
the ogryn ranged weapon has a limited range tool
Are acolytes of the Ordo xenos able to use xenotech openly that they just find? Or is it something that needs to be hidden
Depends on their master usually
most imperials are mostly also stupid enough to not realise its xenostech
Or is that reserved for higher ranking members of the inquisition that have the influence and reputation to protect them
im sure when it comes to breaking rules, its usually an open secret that no one follows them
Cause acolytes are easily replaced
Maybe among other ordos or inquisition members but just out in the general public?
